I AM LOSING MY MIND OVER A SONIC ROCK BAND AU SO IMMA MAKE A BUNCH OF HEADCANONS BECAUSE I CANNOT CONTAIN THIS

this is what happens when you mix an emo punk rock fan with the sonic universe-

Sonic - Lead singer / guitar (kinda like Billie Joe Armstrong or Dexter Holland) Shadow - guitar / backing vocals (Frank Iero. NEED I SAY MORE) Tails - keyboardist / synth / DJ (it's giving Cumulus from Ghost or Sid from Slipknot) Silver - bass guitar (maybe even like the Geddy Lee pedal set up too) Knuckles - drummer (with the Neil Peart drum set up and CC from BVB vibes)

Sonic: pop punk vibe!!

probably shreads too fast on the guitar and loses his guitar picks every goddamn minute so he has his entire mic stand covered with those guitar pick holders

does the thing that Freddy Mercury does where he picks up the mic stand and walks around while singing

definitely crowd surfs and tells the mosh pit to go wild

*kicks over amp* AAAAAAAA

has random stickers over EVERYTHING, guitar case, guitar, you name it

reads all of the signs in the audience and sometimes replies to them

stops the show in the middle and starts ranting about literally whatever

*trips over every wire possible* IM OKAY!!

has probably broke down and cried on stage once but everyone comforted him and he finished the show EPICALLY

always makes sure that the crowd is staying safe. probably did that one thing that Andy Biersack did when he jumped into the crowd to personally fight this one guy

oh yeah he will also get pissed if you diss the band at their show or if you're just being an asshole and will deal with you personally

will beat you up if you assault someone in the pit

everyone is a fan favorite, but they all dont know how to interact with fans except for Tails and Sonic

I read the ozet for ep 19 and watched second trailer and

1. I am sorry, all I can fixate on is Melisa confessing she loves Ozan. Aaaaaaaa!!!! I am sure this will turn into a disaster somehow because I saw him walking away in first trailer for the ep but I don’t care - it’s like a person who had crumbs got a whole cake. Somehow, 19 eps in the upper class bully X upper class unhinged secondary girl became my top OTP in this show and not because I don’t love the other OTPs. But it’s like…best friends, train wrecks, amoral horrors and utterly codependent. What a combo! (Also I can’t believe I am gonna say it but outside comic relief Bekir who is the best boy, Ozan is by far the best boyfriend material in this show provided he truly loves the girl. The way he is for and with Melisa, Kanat or Aziz or Ates or Original or whoever can never.)

2. The trailer clip of Aziz hugging his monster father and then telling Leyla, the girl he loves and who his father kidnapped and almost murdered, “after all he’s my father” gave me hives (though as abused as Aziz was backsliding makes sense tbh) but the ozet said he has a plan so I am assuming he’s putting daddy on in order to trap him and I am calm now. Don’t let me down, ILY my favorite headcase!

3. I was wondering why Gaye was in Kanat’s house in promo 1 and apparently somehow she moved in. Ahaha is the place a hotel? Also that is a new low in her chasing a teenager who plain text told you he doesn’t like you. I am beginning to think Riza’s beatings broke something in Suna’s brain because all that plan would do is get Kanat to hate her.

4. The guard Riza sends after Ekim falls for her. Of course 😂😂😂 Isn’t he an adult? It isn’t any less creepier to have an adult man chase a high school girl than to have Gaye chase Kanat. Do those makers forget these are high schoolers even though they don’t look like it? (I can’t make “the world’s oldest high schoolers” crack any more after watching Hayat Gibi with Araz the 35 year old high schooler but still…)

Why do I lowkey like the mom tho? Lmao 😂 I mean she’s a bitch of course but the way she treated hee was like ?? I think I went overboard 😭 especially with the whole “you’re not her real dad” her to toxicity was off the charts

im just thinking abt the big grumpy listener, one night is starting to freak out bc they realize that they have a big responsibility as the listener, but they know nothing about it and also know that everyone just hates them because they're a dick to everyone. Cicero is there in the room with them and the listener hates to show any sort of vulnerability so they're trying to get Cicero to leave by at first going like "just go away" and "leave me alone" to flat out insults because they're slowly losing it more and more until they just break down in front of him and Cicero just hugs them. The listener at first doesn't hug him back until he starts to let go in which case they just pull him closer and sob into his shoulder.

aaaAAAAA i started making an actual oc. not sure if they’ll be the listener or guild master yet but i am slowly overcoming my fear of being cringe. i may end up making the listener and using this one shot as part of their story but we just don’t know.

cicero/gender neutral listener

it’s 2 am and i used a lot of my own experiences with mental illness. please do not read if that could be triggering for you. it mostly relates to panic attacks, sensory issues, pushing people away, and feelings of self loathing.

“It’s fine. You’re fine. It’s fine. You’re fine. It’s fine. You’re fine.”

They repeated the mantra as if in a trance. It felt like the world was crashing down around them but no one else was noticing. The walls felt too tight. The could feel every part of their clothes touching their skin. Everything felt too much, too much all at once and they couldn’t hold it in anymore.

The Listener. The leader. The Dragonborn. Too many titles, too many responsibilities, not enough answers. There wasn’t anyone to turn to. The last Listener was dead and buried just like the last leader of the Brotherhood. They didn’t even know the last time a Dragonborn had walked Nirn. They were all alone with no one to question.

“It’s fine. You’re fine. It’s fine. You’re fine.”

They clutched their head in their hands, leaning forward until they were curled in on themself. There was no one to turn to, no one to ask for help. Everyone hated them. They were too rude to the others in the Brotherhood who had survived. They were too short with everyone around them, too wrapped up in their own issues to care about anyone else’s. It felt like they were going to implode and no one would care. No one would care and it was all their own fault.

“Listener?”

The jester’s voice broke the rhythm of the Listener’s mantra. They glared up at him, the new target of their malice. It always felt good to scrape up every ounce of pain and self hatred and fling it onto someone else, maybe they could stop hating themself long enough to figure something out.

“Get out.” They snarled and Cicero paused in the doorway. He noticed the way they were curled up on the ground pressed securely into the corner of the room. Their desk was overturned, paperwork and plans flung in every direction from their outburst. The pity they saw in his face only fanned the rage and hatred consuming the Listener.

“Cicero is here to serve you.” His voice was gentler, less shrill than before. The Listener wondered if he saw them as some vulnerable animal. It made them want to vomit.

“I said get the fuck out of my room.” They snapped back when Cicero silently sat down. He still stared at them with that odd mix of pity and intrigue. “Don’t you have to attend to your corpse?”

The Listener saw the quick twist in his expression but Cicero kept in whatever he wanted to say. He stared at them, sometimes tilting his head when they ordered him out or threatened him but remained seated. The Listener screamed until their throat was raw and tears covered their heated cheeks. They screamed and shouted at Cicero to get out, to leave them alone, to stop fucking looking at them like that until the last drop of anger was gone.

They felt empty. Slumped back against the wall the shame of what they’d done hit; had their first act as leader of a new Dark Brotherhood been screaming themself hoarse at the Keeper? The tears kept flowing as the self-loathing filled in little crack in their mind, the cold fingers of numbness already tightening around their chest.

They weren’t fine. Nothing was fine. They’d been granted some of the most respected positions in Skyrim. What a waste of a title.

The Listener didn’t hear Cicero move. Their eyes stayed closed, praying that he’d left them to wallow in the misery they’d created. Pressing the heels of their hands into their eyes the Listener let go of their control. The ugly sobs filled the room until there was no more room to think, no coherent thoughts, just the horrible release of emotional pressure.

Two arms wrapped around the Listener and shocked them. They knew who it was, of course. Cicero hugged his Listener even when they stiffened against his hold, that horrible knee-jerk reaction to push people away.

“I am here to help you, my Listener.” Cicero’s voice was still controlled, something the Listener wasn’t used to. He was so calm, still handling the Listener as if they could break at any second. A dozen insults popped into their head but for the first time, the Listener held their tongue.

Cicero held the Listener for what felt like hours. They remained stiff, two parts of their minds at war - one screaming for him to get off of them while the other, quieter part begged for him to keep caring. Their body shook with the force of their sobs but they couldn’t hold it in anymore. Cicero still kneeled in front of them, holding them when they could do nothing but cry.

The Listener felt it. Cicero leaned back, retracting his touch. The vile part of their brain reveled in the feeling as if it was proof he hated them, more reason to hate themself. The Listener tried to shove that part away and lunged for Cicero, refusing to lose his touch.

Their fall onto the stone floor was not graceful or silent or anything that assassins should be. It was messy and loud, smacked elbows and tangled legs but they couldn’t lose him. Cicero allowed the Listener to crawl back into his arms, sobbing into his shoulder until his uniform was soaked with tears.

It felt like Cicero was their only anchor in sanity. The Listener clung to him and wept for what could’ve been days. They dug their hands into his uniform and cried until there was nothing left other than the empty, heavy exhaustion. Cicero stayed there, hugging the Listener and allowing them to cry and scream into his shoulder until they fell asleep.

The Listener awoke in their own bed. Their head pounded when they sat up in search of water. Their eyes were swollen and itchy, shame punching them in the gut when they remembered the night before. They had to explain to Cicero, make some excuse for their behavior before everyone else found out.

Cicero’s feet were propped up on the end of the Listener’s bed. He had dragged their chair away from the destroyed desk and fallen asleep in it sometime during the night. The Listener settled back into their bed still surprised that he’d stayed. His hat dipped lower on his forehead while he snored, still in his wrinkled uniform.

The Listener would find a way to thank him. They drew the blankets back up to their chin being careful not to disturb his feet. When they fell back into an uneasy sleep they were still thinking about his words, the genuine care when he held them.

I am here to help you, my Listener.

Been a hot minute since I did one of these. A good friend of mine gave me a suggestion on my discord:

So yeah this required a lot of research because I only eat like 3 things lol. Obligatory crack warning.

Tornado of Terror: Ice cream because A: it’s good practice for her esper powers to control a semi-liquidous substance and B: her constant rage has actually raised her default body temperature an additional ten degrees, so eating ice cream is a good way to cool off.

Silverfang: Oatmeal raisin cookies because he’s an old fuck. He likes chewy things because his teeth are held together by sheer force of will but also indulges in that extra crunch of the oatmeal to remind everyone in the old folk’s home just who the fuck they’re messing with.

Atomic Samurai: Any dessert-flavored cocktail that is made up of around 90% alcohol and 5% violence.

Child Emperor: Kid eats sweets for breakfast lunch and dinner, dessert to him would probably be a head of broccoli drizzled with a light yet flavorful dressing. Either that or milkshakes, because I get the feeling he doesn’t get to enjoy them too often... and of course they remind him of the good times with Zombieman.

Metal Knight: Only eats pre-packaged nutrient bricks and has not tasted anything sweet nor enjoyed a food morsel in at least 17 years.

King: I headcanon King as a huge momma’s boy who doesn’t get to eat a lot of homemade food because he fucking sucks at cooking and makes enough money to eat out all the time anyway, so his favorite dessert would probably be every and any home-cooked treat his mom makes for him.

Zombieman: I’ll be honest, I thought this dude hated sweet things but after reading that manga extra of him drinking sugar with a side of coffee, my opinion has switched. His favorite dessert would probably be something extremely decadent and sweet, like one of those 1000-calorie Dairy Queen sundae-shakes jam packed with chocolate and cookie crumbs. Or an entire fucking lava cake because this dude’s metabolism is faster than the speed of light and he’d probably stomach something like that just to see if he can, since apparently he’s all about breaking his own limiters. A friend of mine once ate three-dozen pot brownies in one sitting while speedrunning Mario 64 and I think Zombieman would be able to do that without the aid of the munchies. I know Zman internally insulted Pig God one time for well, eating like a pig but give the dude some alone time and an all you can eat buffet of sweets and he’d find himself in the same situation.

Drive Knight: Does not have a favorite food in general due to this motherfucker not installing tastebuds on account of them not being necessary to commit all degrees of murder.

Pig God: Oh my god. More like what isn’t this dude’s favorite dessert? Pig God has lost the ability to dislike anything he puts in his mouth because eating has pretty much become his main source of income, so it’s safe to say that if he can swallow it, it’s his favorite food. That includes desserts, but I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t partial to pudding. Just pudding. Bread pudding, chocolate pudding, strawberry pudding. Pudding.

Superalloy Darkshine: I’ve said this before but my boy Darkshine only eats the most obnoxiously healthy foods out there, sometimes over health-ifying those foods himself in his kitchen/protein meth lab. His favorite dessert would probably be one of those ancient bread seed logs and only because he’s allowed to put .2 ounces of stevia in it. Either that or literally just any fruit ever.

Watchdog Man: Those pumpkin-flavored dog treats because my man gets paid 2 cents an hour at the Hero Association and the poor mf in charge of payroll has forgotten he exists so he’s grown accustomed to eating only the dog-related foods people leave to him as offerings on his weird pedestal thing in City Q.

Flashy Flash: Doesn’t really have an affinity for sweet things on account of how fucking awful life in the Ninja Village was. He never got the opportunity to develop a sweet tooth because of all the basic ass food he’d be eating. Almost all desserts listed here would give him a heart attack, like making a Victorian era child drink McDonald’s sprite. It will not sit right with his spirit. His favorite dessert would he any vaguely sweet fruit with wine, or a coffee that is 90% creamer.

Genos: Something in my spirit is telling me he’d enjoy anything strawberry-related, although Saitama doesn’t like them. This leads to them falling out while a shortcake bakes in the background. Im kidding, obviously. But seeing as how ONE has a very “go stupid aaaaaaaa” attitude towards writing, it would be a very tame end to their relationship (assuming there’s gonna be an end) compared to all the other shitdick stuff happening in this series. Zombieman’s ass has been out for like 8 chapters, you can’t tell me shit.

Metal Bat: Kiddo snorts protein powder for breakfast, probably. He’s ripped as hell and his diet reflects that sorta, with a hint of seventeen year-old craziness thrown in there. Bitch eats like a violent stoner sometimes because he knows his metabolism can handle it and he won’t die from food poisoning nor food coma. However, his favorite dessert would be creme brûlée because it’s the only food you’re required to beat the shit out of before eating, and we all know he loves bonking stuff.

Tanktop Master: Over health-ifys shit like Darkshine, just to a lesser degree. However I also HC him as a huge momma’s boy, and if said mother is supportive in his endeavors to become the world’s swolest man, she’d definitely make him something both sweet and healthy. However, I’d doubt he care about slipping up on his diet every once and a while. He’d probably enjoy a soft serve here and there.

Puri-Puri Prisoner: his palate is very limited on account of being in literal prison. However, he doesn’t really hate it there for some reason, and I’ve even stated in a previous hc that he sometimes gets specialized meals in the cafeteria due to his status as a hero. His favorite dessert would probably be whatever chocolate-flavored sweet brick they can shit out. Like, motherfuckers get really creative with their ingredients while locked up and there’s a bomb ass recipe for chocolate cake floating around that I’ve tried and can confirm it’s 10/10 not bad. I’m getting off-topic. His favorite dessert is whatever asshole he’ll be eating out of that night.

Saitama: Even though he’s poorer than.... fuck, I don’t know. He’s broke but he still indulges in the prestige shit here and there. He’s got a massive sweet tooth even though he’s ripped as hell, hence why he eats so much fruit because it’s the only sweet thing he can afford to ingest without losing his gains. His favorite dessert would be anything banana-related, but nothing as decadent as say, dark chocolate. Probably banana foster waffles. I don’t know why that popped into my head, I just know Saitama would like them.

Garou: motherfucker could shit on a rock with sprinkles on it and call it dessert. His favorite, though? Sweet, sweet victory. And candy bars.

OH BOY DO I HAVE SONGS

first things first, i will direct you to my twelve hour Revan playlist that i use for writing vibes, it's a mixture of vocal and instrumental and it has both a bunch of Revan songs for different eras of Revan, plus revalek songs, plus some revastila songs, plus some songs that just vibe.... it's good and most of the songs i'm about to highlight, if not all of them, are on there already.

NOW. HERE WE GO.

first things first, i need to introduce you to the title song for my mandalorian wars fic, oblivion by the aviators! god, this song doesn't fit all Revans perfectly, but it fits mine so well it was like it'd been written for her specifically, i swear. listening to the song was what inspired me to write the fic to begin with (and now i have a whole series oops). i mean, come on, look at the chorus:

Let the broken heroes rise Let the victors take their prize No one wins when justice dies War has let this age begin It's where we've gone and where they've been What a state that we're in Here in oblivion

can't look at that and tell me that isn't Jedi Knight Revan and the war that broke them.

next up!! liar by the arcadian wild, my beloved. this song is currently my top all time on spotify, closely followed by the song i'm going to rec after it and then achilles come down - and the fact that anything unseated achilles for the top spot should tell you something. (and if you don't know what achilles come down is look it up that one's on my playlist too.) this is a really good one for Revan's slow fall down, the corruption arc - again, all of the songs i'm mentioning really fit my own versions of the characters best, but they're just good in general. some of the lyrics i enjoy from this one:

hnext up, we have it all by pim stones. this particular one feels very revalek to me, early in the Sith years when they still maybe had good intentions, maybe after the war but before becoming Darth. there's this softer, almost desperate tone to the way the singer sings it that just hits me hard - this is the song i'm using as the title for my Sith years interlude fic! a lyric snippet:

All my life I've been heading for hell But never had I thought I'd drag you down as well I just couldn't resist what he was trying to sell

There's glory ahead but our love will be forgotten If my heart was still mine I would go to the bottom And apologise to you until the day it went rotten

next up we have the balancer's eye by lord huron, which is the song i named my series after (have you noticed a trend yet?). it's a very Revan vibe in general, and while i'm not as much of a fan of the style, the lyrics are really excellent!

mmm let's see what next. OH! go to war by nothing more. this is just straight up a Sith years song for revalek, whether you ship them or not - they were important to each other either way! ..... i am not going to tangent into yelling about revalek. that is not what this is for. anyway, the song itself is a) a banger and b) talking about love corrupting and falling apart and it just. it hits, man

oooh NEXT we have the song i was going to use for my Jaw Scene before i decided to write a full sith years fic. saints by echos is the song, and again, we've got Sith years Revan and Malak here (yes yes i have a type), the vibes of losing faith and anger and it blends really well with how Revan basically played off being a legendary figure to the Republic to fuel their war against it!

mmmm okay the discord has informed me that ten (10) songs is the maximum i should do in one post so. i will only do four more. chrysalis - the last breath by delain is yet another Sith Revan and Malak song and honestly you can read it as a response to the song above, if you think of saints from Malak's pov and chrysalis from Revan's, they mesh really well together.

next! for a complete change of pace, i have a revastila song for you - warrior by beth crowley. it somehow manages to capture exactly the dynamic i think of in my head when i think about Bastila, the uncertainty, the forbiddeness of it, but the way Revan ultimately strengthens her and she strengthens Revan

uhhhhhh i am desperately trying to think of songs that aren't just about Revan but instead here i am with another Mandalorian Wars Revan song, what did we know by rachel rose mitchell! this song was introduced to me by the same friend who sent me oblivion, and it really captures the fall of the Mandalorian wars incredibly well imo - the way it started with righteousness but ended in pain (compassion leading to destruction and that's a ramble i'm not going on here either), and there's this line in there that i'm not including in my snippet that's what scares me more than anything / if we could choose the past / we'd probably choose the same and it's like. yes! that's it! i'm going to once again go insane over the scene in the Korriban tomb in kotor 2!!! knowing the price.... would you choose to do it all again........ aaaaaaaa

the final song i'm doing is the song i used when i wrote the Betrayal scene from Malak's pov, the little things give you away by linkin park. this one just. it vibes, it vibes hard, goes really into the actual grief of betrayal, and also has a super epic instrumental solo so there's that. as usual, lyric snippet:
