a/n: Idk just had this random idea of jjk men and Haikyuu men being in one room with the reader like the general dynamics.

Which room you'd rather be locked in?

Room 1 : Gojo Satoru/ Ryomen Sukuna / Toji Fushiguro/ Kuroo Tetsuroo / Oikawa Tooru / Atsumu Miya

A bunch of loud narcissistic extroverts in one room.

Let's say Kuroo is the calmest comparing to them.

Over confidents in their looks and capabilities.

Cocky ass men.

They would start showing off in front of you, literally out of the blue.

Would start an arm wrestling match to see who's the strongest.

Smart? super smart, they'd know exactly what to say to you to make you blush and weak on the knees.

Would try to outshine each other, each one of them trying to be the center of your attention.

Brag about their achievements

“huh a captain of a volleyball team? how lame..I'm the king of curse”.

Showing off their skills to you trying to be better than the other

“come on Oikawa, you can try to punch me, bet you can't..my infinity won't allow it hehehe”.

Everyone talking loudly and at the same time, giving you a terrible headache.

Flexing on you, flexing their muscles in front of you

They would put each other down to seem the strongest and the dominant one in front of you.

Total flirts, praising you a lot!!!

Impressive but terrible use of pick-up lines.

Introverted but can be stupid.

You can literally fall asleep there with how tranquil the atmosphere was.

Yuta would be reading his book, Kenma playing games on his phone, Toge just busy in this thoughts, Kageyma awkwardly eating snacks and Choso silently judging.

They shared the interest in you, but none of them dared to start a conversation.

Their attempts to approach you would fail miserably leaving them a blushing mess.

Low-key would suffer from an anxiety/panic attack if you touch them.

Their faces would turn different shades of pink if you catch them staring or smile at them.

Over hyped and energetic squad is here.

These mfs would bond up at the spot

without any obstacles.

Very goofy.

They would turn the room into a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Would laugh a lot while cracking jokes.

It would be easy to be around them since they would make you feel welcomed and try to engage you with them.

Very playful and spontaneous flirting when it's about you.

They would try to make you laugh with their stupid jokes and impressions showcasing their comedic side to you.

Also they would compliment you a lot.

“You have a cute laugh”

It would be very easy to vibe with them.

Would play a lot of games together or watch random videos.

You'd feel very comfortable around them and safe.

Despite their playful nature they would take a good care of you.

So when our bowl cut bby approached you and asked if you'd like to be the volleyballs team's manager, you instantly said yes!

You name it, YN was superior at it!

That's how you came to befriend the third years

The only problem is he didn't seem to pay much attention to you

It wasn't until one day, when you were at your locker that Ushijima's feelings came out

Inbetween, you are fixing water bottles and towels when Ushijima comes up behind you, spins you around and plants a huge kiss on you

anime crushes i've had, why, and if i still like him or not:

neito monoma (bnha)

listen, he can be really handsome. 😭 and the fact that he's canonically handsome (WITH GOOD FASHION TASTE) makes so much sense. i don't like him as much as i used to, but i definitely still giggle whenever he comes up on screen.

keigo takami | hawks (my hero acadamia)

his new haircut in the later seasons had me screaming. 10/10. i made my mha oc have a canon celebrity crush on him, because yes.

shoto todoroki (my hero acadamia)

when i first started watching my hero acadamia, i actually had a crush on katsuki bakugo (which.. i will not explain, nor will i discuss why on this list), but eventually, i came to realize that i loved boys who were more responsible and aloof. todoroki is actually one of the love interests i've been contemplating to introduce to my mha oc.

tōru oikawa (haikyū!!)

i swear, he was like every haikyū!! girls' first love (it was either him, kageyama, tsukishima, or kenma), and no, i do not like him anymore. >:p

ushijima wakatoshi (haikyū!!)

honestly, he has moments that make my heart pound. the "my cute fiancé" work i did make me like him a little bit more. he was the first haikyū!! character i thought of when asked the question, "who would think their s/o's stomach chub is cute?" [next to that would be bokuto kōtarō and osamu miya, of course. (kita shinsuke and keiji akaashi, too!!)]. i still like ushijima, but just below kita and iwaizumi.

i don't think i have to explain, but i will anyway. something that wins me over is a man who would definitely win my family's heart after the first meeting and is God-fearing. gracefully enough, i have a headcanon where kita is both. also, i think my entire brand speaks for itself as to whether or not i still like kita. HIS NOM-NOMABLE CHEEKS.

iwaizumi hajime (haikyū!!)

i've always sympathized with iwaizumi since his best friend was someone so popular with the girls, while he kinda just idly stands by. i gradually grew more attracted to him because the thought of him being jokingly aggressive with his friends, but kind and soft to me, was so heart-melting. so yes, i most definitely still like him.

atsumu miya + osamu miya (haikyū!!)

right off the bat, i disliked atsumu. his personality irked me a bit, and.. his ha aai ii iiir rrr.. but i eventually grew to like him because i found this trope cute: whereas atsumu would have a lot of fans, but only pay attention to your cheers. also, may i just mention his TIMESKIP HAIR. THE SIDE SWEEP. I SCREAMED.

i started liking osamu after this one scene of him looking unintentionally cute, then when i saw his timeskip job, i thought about him cooking food for me. AAAAAAA domestic fluff >>>!! and the fact that i wanted to study culinary to become a baker furthermore had me tripping over /the/ osamu miya. i'd love it if while osamu owned a restaurant, i could own a bakery, and our shops would be close to each other. (,,> ꇴ <,,)—!!

toge inumaki (jujutsu kaisen)

i'm ignoring the fact that i literally reblogged a "missing inumaki hours" post a few hours ago. yes, i still like him!! he's just so super adorable, and the headcanon of him learning sign language makes me so soft and AAAAAA!! i'd feed him all the tuna mayo onigiris i could make.

xiao (genshin impact)

if oikawa was haikyū!! girls' first love, then xiao would be genshin girls' candidate for the "first love" position (it'd be either him, kaeya, or diluc). i don't like him as much as i did back then, but his fluff-fics are always cute. ^^

y'know, i actually was in the midst of editing my list, then i went, "genshin has so many characters, why did i only like three?" then i remembered my freakin' childe phase. >:(

Also, he was always concentrate about everything. His matches, classes and in everything he do.

But lately there was something going through his head nonstop. It was you. He couldn't believe he has a soft spot for you at all.

He knew everything, he was smart, really smart but he couldn't get himself together when he saw you in the library or practice matches. He didn't know why he wanted you to be around him.

He always took glances at your small figure.

He'd look at you in practices too.

While drinking water,

While cleaning his sweat with his towel,

After blocking Hinata or Tanaka's attacks and so on..

He wondered if you ever cheered for him.

You did actually but he never saw you nor your cheerings. He'd only have thoughts about it.

He was glad that you were shy. When you guys locked eyes even for seconds, you'd look like a tomato and turn your head quickly. He'd smirk at your actions while finding it cute, to be honest.

He thanked to god that you guys were in the same class or else he wouldn't get himself to get your name or learn other things about you.

It was weird how you guys get close to each other.

He was wide awake, in their floor bed. He couldn't get himself together at the thought of you cheering for him team because of the final match. He knew, he'd be the only one to beat Ushijima even if it's you watching or not but oh boy, he'd think about you cheering for him on the tribunes, clapping your hands and smiling brightly...

He talked to Yamaguchi, even if his body didn't want to his brain did it like always, that night.

" Hey, Yamaguchi? "

" Ah hey Tsukki! Is something the matter, why are you still awake? "

" You're awake too Yamaguchi, don't ask anything. Anyways, do you know if y/n is coming to our final match? " he put his hand on the back of his head.

" Like I said, don't ask anything, just answer. "

" I don't know actually Tsukki! But the whole school will be there you know that, right? " he smiled to his tall friend.

He looked at Yamaguchi now " Mhm I guess, I will. So, how do i ask a girl out? "

He rolled his eyes at Yamaguchi's words.

" Sorry Tsukki! It's just everyone knows you as a ' mind over matter ' guy, I couldn't think you'd want my idea to ask someone out. " he sent his friend a apologetic smile.

Tsukishima rolled his eyes again.

" It's fine I guess. Well, forget what I've asked anyways, let's just sleep then. "

He said a small goodnight to his friend and lay down on his side, taking off his glasses and putting them somewhere near him.

' Isn't it same for the other's though, mind over matter for sure.. Pfft, how idiotic of them '

[ 03:56 A.M ]

He looked over his phone. ' I can't sleep, what are you doing in my mind y/n.. ' he thought to himself. He looked one last time to his phone, finding your class pic. ' She is so cute. ' he thought while looking at the photo. You were standing next to him and his head was down to your head level. You had a cute smile on your face while he had a small smile on his face, because of you.

He smiled a little at the photo and locked his phone, trying to sleep.

[ 5 minutes ago before the final match. ]

' Where is she? I thought she'd be there, pft how low of me ' he thought to himself, eyeing the tribune. ' why I'm in tatters thinking about her? It's so childish to think anyways ' he thought again while turning his head to their coach, Ukai. You liked him from afar too, actually. You couldn't get yourself to speak with him in person out of school. You liked watching him playing volleyball. Even if you said you were there for Yachi, you'd always look at him. He was attractive. Anywayss.

You were late and rushing to gym.

When you got there finally, panting, only to see Yachi and Saeko-san along with the whole school. You waved at Yachi and she smiled. The set count was already 3. You asked Yachi how was the first 2 sets.

Tsukishima noticed you at that time, while Yachi was telling you how the match was going, you were looking over the team. He saw, how you quickly turned your head to Yachi smiling brightly that they got one of the sets. You clapped your hands a little. He blushed a little, seeing you happy made him happy even if he didn't know why. ' It's probably because of the first 2 sets ' he thought to himself.

You hold your breath when they were at match point. When a whistle was heard, you were in tears and screaming loud at the team's victory.

He looked at your figure ; clapping your hands and smiling brightly while tears rolled down from your cheeks.

He smiled a little at your figure too even if his teammates were hugging him on the floor.

After the match, at the hallways, you saw his figure and thought about talking with him. You wanted nothing more than to talk with him.

You watched and cheered for him and only him after all.

He had saw you too, though. Walking to your figure, you noticed him too. Blushing slowly you heard his tired voice.

" Hey y/n. "

" H-hello, Tsukishima-kun! " you smiled softly.

" Is your finger okay by the way? It must be hurting so much.. " you said while looking at his eyes.

" Nah, I even rested when they were wrapping it anyways. " he said while smirked. You smiled again.

" You were so good while blocking them! I- uh i really liked how concentrated you were.. "

" Thank you y/n-san "

There was a comfortable silence between the two of you. He was one to interrupt it though.

" It'll be weird and sudden but.. " you looked at him, looking confused.

" I was thinking about you for a while now, don't get me wrong though,, " He shakes his head and hand.

" I really like you, that's why. I couldn't think any other ways to tell you this so " he said while looking anywhere but you.

" I.. I really like you too, Tsukishima "

You guys looked at each others eyes and smiled, not knowing the team's eyes on you two. He pulled you closer and wrapped an arm around you, still smiling a little.

" I was.. Thinking about you for a while too " you said to him while hiding your red face in his chest.

You guys laughed together while the team looking at Tsukishima's smiling figure in some kind of a shock.

" He got a cute one, Nishinoya!! " said Tanaka, jokingly pretending to be down.

There you stood infront of Oikawa's table. Tendou and Ushijima's words repeating. You looked at his table full of cookies and then the cookies in your hand. You frowned, placed it and left.

You had already left the other boys their cookies in their tables.

You went to the gym. There was practice before classes after all. Maybe the coach wants to keep girls away from the boys by making them stink.

When you get there, you see Kyotani and Yahaba with the coach.

They wave at you and thank you for the cookies.

Coach was talking to Kyotani and him being himself wasn't listening.

You start preparing for the team's practice so you went to the lockers. You gave it a knock.

You then see all of the boys shirtless. It wasn't a unusual event for you so you didnt really care but the 1st years still get surprised and embarrassed. You could tell they hurriedly put their shorts on. They really need to make it more private. Good thing the number of times you've walked in on someone had gotten you used to these stuff.

You took out your pad of paper, "Can you hand me the towels and tumblers?"

The third years were the closest to them. They must've said something tonthe first years since none of them moved.

You didnt want to look at them since you knew they were going to scold you.

You felt something lifting your head. It was a bar of chocolate against your chin, Matsukawa with a smirk held a bar of chocolate and lift your head with it. He gave it to you.

"Happy valentines. "

His signing was faulty you could tell he just learned that.

Iwaizumi flicked your forehead and tossed you a chocolate.

"Thanks for the cookies."

He put his shirt and pulled Matsukawa and Hanamaki who were dressed.

"Dont take forever there Shittykawa!" You read him say.

Hanamaki tossed you a chocolate while Iwaizumi dragged him away. You went to grab the towel and tumbler.

Then you see a towel on a bench. You went over to grab it when a shadow loomed over you.

You turned at blushed seeing Oikawa with his short and still wet from the shower. Your face was burning. The heat from the shower was getting to you... totally.

"Blame Hanamaki. He thought it'd be a good idea to push me to a river. Now I have to spend all day in my jersey."

You just stared at him. Your heart was beating out of your chest.

Fuck. How are you not gonna have a crush on this man. Look at this Adonis man. This isn't even the first time you've seen him like that. Why are you acting like that now.

He waved his hand infront of your face snapping you out of your trance. He chuckled at the look you had.

"You okay?"

You handed him the towel you were gonna get. And head out of the lockers.

The boys outside were already warming up. You put down the towels on a free seat and went out to refill the water bottles.

There you saw a hoard of women with banners of Oikawa, boxes of sweets and letters. You look at the gym and thought.

Oikawa hates valentines. He's been firm about it. He's a people pleaser though. You also don't want girls fawning on him.

So you made up a lie.

You ran back to the gym, left the bottles and ran out without looking back with a pad of paper.

"Oikawa Tooru will not be accepting any valentines gift personally, please leave them all at his locker or table at class 3-A."

They read it.

"How am I supposed to profess my undying love for Oikawa-sama?!"

"Not again!!!! Why does he always do this?!"

So it seems that this isn't a new thing. When the crowd subsided, you turned around to see the 3rd years, Matsukawa and Hanamaki with a smirk.

"She just stole our job." Hanamaki laughed.

Your face flushed. Oikawa had a hint of blush that you didnt see because youre too bothered at your own.

"That's one less problem. Come one it's class time." Iwaizumi hit the boys' back. "Lets go"

You nodded.

They walked you to your class. You bowed at them but before you got away from them someone grabbed your arm.

Oikawa pulled out a chocolate from his bag. Your heart was screaming.

"Happy valentines." He smiled

Iwaizumi dragged him out of the hallway since the passer byers were starting to gather.

You walked to your class, your head all over the place. On your table was chocolates and some cookies, all from the boys in the team. Including Kyotani and Yahaba. You smiled and put them at your bag for classes to proceed.

UshiTen Drabble a Day, DAY ONE: Monsters and First Meetings

Now we here at the UshiTen Exchange understand that some of you are already personal subscribers to Ushijima/Tendou. Many of you already know the critical things, such as: Ushijima Wakatoshi and Tendou Satori are BEST FRIENDS. Or, for example: Ushijima Wakatoshi was taught how to read by Tendou Satori using Shonen Jump Magazines (REAL). And, of course, the most important thing: Ushijima Wakatoshi and Tendou Satori are monsters who are also teammates and soulmates.

But maybe some of you don't know those things. You know about UshiTen (of course) but you don't really understand them. You need More before you're fully on board.

To that end, the mods of UshiTen Exchange say: an UshiTen drabble a day keeps the Hinata Shouyo away!

For the next eight days, we will be giving you a short UshiTen drabble a day to help bring you over to the light. We'll be sorting through a variety of tropes and situationships because UshiTen? They have the RANGE.

And maybe by the end of it, who knows?, you'll want to try your hand at UshiTen too (with us)!

When Satori was a child, he would craft monsters out of clay. He would give them all of the things that scared him—wide eyes and fanged teeth, pointed horns and claws so sharp they could pierce. His monsters were mean; they could chew through bone and swallow eyeballs and crush little boys between their fingers. They would protect him, his monsters. They were scary and they were not real and he loved them very much.

He thinks he looks like one of them, the first time he meets him.

Six foot two inches tall, with the kind of body brick walls are built of and the kind of intensity that breaks waves against shores. He has thick, serious eyebrows, and unmoving brown eyes, and soft hair that is either brown or olive or both. He never smiles and his arms are always crossed at his large chest, and he is relentlessly polite.

Satori’s monsters had always been protective, but never been kind.

The first time he meets him, he’s almost afraid.

“Wakatoshi-kun, eh?” he says, as a joke, because everything is easier as a joke. “I hear we’re on the same team.”

Satori has never been on a team before. He’s never been allowed.

“Tendou Satori,” the monster says and his voice is as steady as the ground. “I hear you are able to score points.”

He says it not as a challenge, but as an expectation. Whatever Satori had been expecting, it wasn’t this.

“Have you heard of me?” Satori asks and tilts his head, baring his teeth. If the other boy won’t challenge him, he’ll push back first.

“Yes,” Ushijima says.

“Most of it is true,” Satori says and he smiles, a bitter, sharp thing. It’s a smile made of fanged teeth and pointed horns and claws so sharp they pierce. “I’m scary, and I’m mean, and I’m intense, and I probably have a bad attitude. They call me a monster. A yokai.”

“Are you one?” Ushijima asks and Satori laughs, hurt and pleased.

“Yes.”

“I see,” Ushijima says, accepting this.

Of course. Satori’s smile dims. Even monsters can be hurt.

He turns to leave, when Ushijima says, “But I hear you are able to score points.”

Confused, Satori turns back.

“Yes?”

Ushijima stares at him with those unmoving eyes, a monster facing a monster. He is steady and curious and utterly unafraid. After a moment, he nods.

“Then, that is fine.”

Satori doesn’t understand.

“All that matters is that you are able to score points,” Ushijma says. The monster’s expression softens. Like this, he is almost human. “That is all that matters when we play volleyball, Tendou Satori. That is the only thing I care about on my team.”

He will think later that this was the moment he fell in love with Ushijima Wakatoshi.

Or maybe it was the first time he reached forward to help Satori up from the ground; the first time he sat next to him—not away from him—at lunch; the first time Satori knocked on his bedroom door and Ushijima let him in.

Or maybe it was the first time Satori lay down on the ground next to him after a hard-fought game, the two of them panting, sweat damping their temples. Their hearts racing, victory in their blood. Ushijima turned to Satori and smiled.

Maybe it’s then that Satori learned that there are many kinds of monsters. Some are scary and some are mean, but all of them can be beautiful.

All you need is to find the one that matches the kind that you are.

Revice, Episode 48!

Jesus Christ, it's been 47 episodes already... not counting the vast amount of side content, that's a good deal over a thousand minutes worth of demon stamping, compelling family drama, and really poor marketing on Bandai's part. Yeah, I see you collectors, and I realize and sympathize with how unpleasant Revice's merchandising has been to your wallets when it really shouldn't have been.

If I seem a little cranky, it's because I woke up at 6 am after accidentally having a good bit of this episode spoiled for me. ...and also my mattress is awful, but you don't need to worry too much about that.

Spoilers, I guess... Fun fact, this is phrase is a holdover from the ancient days where I used to provide commentary on Chuggaaconroy's EarthBound LP remake. It was mostly meant to be kinda ironic, since I was talking about a Let's Play of all things, but I've said it so much it kinda feels weird to go without it.

...anyways, yeah, let's go then.

-Gotta show George his best, Ikki.

-I don't have a whole lot to say about the action, which is really good by the way, but I do wanna take a bit to talk about something interesting.

-George seeking to completely free himself from Masumi's control is a very interesting motivation... his obsession with the Riders is ironically only possible because of his dad and people like him. Shocker, Noah, the countless organizations like them, they all sought power for their own purposes, damn near all of them extremely selfish ones. And the Riders rose above that selfishness and their own personal tragedies to become heroes.

-That's where the Karizakis come in. Masumi formed his own organization. Combating the Deadmans and the corrupt Fenix is definitely a noble goal, but Masumi's logic and method for doing so are selfish. I have to ponder whether or not Masumi would be so willing to atone for his mistakes if he never had George. With how long he's been playing everybody on the field, how willing he is to dig through his son's garbage.

-And meanwhile, at Fenix, George indulged in his own vices. Sacrificing practicality for things he thought were cool with Revice, creating the TwoSiDriver and letting Kagerou steal it, willingly putting Hiromi in such danger without questioning why... even decades into the future, with the world in outright ruin, we see George holed up in his basement with all of his favorite Riders, tinkering away and hoping for the ultimate lucky break.

-It's just as Ikki's trying to drill into George's head. He really can't forget the good times he had with his Dad, no matter what. I'm sure Ikki is imagining, just as we are right now, what kind of even stronger non-demonic Rider would be created if the two could've truly become a family again.

-Actually, come to think of it, we don't have to imagine what that'd be like. Because we've seen Kamen Rider Century first hand. We met Ryunosuke and Hideo Momose in Beyond Generations, going through the almost exact same scenario. Evil science guy with a love for his family is involved in the creation of a Kamen Rider in the 20th century. He disappears after dealings with demons and turns up decades later in the future. The son has never truly moved on or accepted the loss of his relationship with his father, and understandably refuses to hear anything he has to say now out of a very understandable feeling. Thanks to Ikki's intervention, the two are willing to put aside their conflict for the sake of the world. Ikki murders the fuck out of the big evil scary demon monster, and the world is safe once again, please buy our toys.

-Where's the difference in their story that caused their vastly different endings, you ask? Well, if you ask me, what separated the Momoses from the Karizakis was their willingness and opportunity to communicate. Having a kid of his own had to have put things in perspective for Hideo, and Ryunosuke being so openly happy to see his son again would've made things go a lot smoother. Meanwhile George and Masumi treat each other very aloofly, not unjustifiably on George's part to be clear, and so they were very unwilling to meet in a way that didn't involve the Igarashis or Weekend in some way. I think the biggest difference between them though was time. Both runtime and in-universe time. The Momoses made up basically over the course of an afternoon because they recognized the necessity of working together thanks to the immediate threat of Diablo, but the Karizakis didn't have that epiphany. Giff took his sweet-ass time enacting his plans, and as such, the Karizakis were made to stew in their own failure.

-Side note, I find it very ironic that the Momoses were able to repair their familial bond thanks to the Karizakis' inventions.

-I apologize that was so long and rambling, I had a lot of thoughts and if I didn't get them out there, I'd be thinking about them all week. Call it retreading if you'd like, but I thought this contrast was very interesting.

-Anyways, enough about that, let's kick some ass!

-NO ONE CAN EVER KNOW! AKUMA NO SASAYAKI GA CALLING!

-"Ah dammit, Ikki's really goin' for it."

-"Well, whaddya gonna do?"

-C'mon George, you gotta hit harder!

Okay, so if you don't know already - with my selfships, I'm in a pop punk band as a co-vocalist! Meian is the other vocalist and he plays rhythm guitar, Ushijima is the bassist, OM Beel is the drummer, and Sukuna is the lead guitarist!

We also have OM Lucifer and Nanami as our managers!!

The rest of the boys won't admit it if you asked them, but they're jealous that Ushijima and I are the ones that room together on tour.

Not like we already spend every waking moment together as a group, but they all want one on one time with me and they know being my room buddy is like, the only way to do that.

Sukuna thinks it should be him since we've known each other the longest

Beel thinks it should be him but that's because he knows I have a stash of snacks in my bag I keep hidden from him

Meian thinks it should be him because he knows he's the one I had a crush on first and he's also the only one I haven't fucked yet

Sometimes they'll try to get Ushijima to trade rooms with them and Ushijima is like "...... No." because he doesn't really like rooming with the others because they can get really messy sometimes.

One time Meian tried to be clever and switch room keys when Ushijima wasn't looking, but Ushijima caught him.

Ushijima thinks it's funny that they're all fighting him to be my roommate, so he was gonna tell me about it.

But sometimes he isn't sure I want him as a roommate, because I get super shy around him.

It's mostly just because he's shirtless like the second we get into the room and I'm trying not to cry over how beautiful he is.

So we were just laying on his hotel bed one time and he was helping me with lyrics and Sukuna had called me in the middle of it and he was like "Are you in your room?" and I was like "....Yeah, why?" And he was like ".... Is Ushijima with you?" I was like ".............. yeah, why?" AND HE WAS LIKE

"............ nevermind."

and he hung up, bro!!!!

Ushijima was like "They're all begging me to switch with them so they can room with you."

and he was like "I mean, if you want me to, I can just switch. It's not a big deal."
