Something I've always wondered was how satori became the lord of the mountain- I've seen a few theories but none really fit imo I'd love to hear your thought on it tho

"This noble creature watches over all animals that make their homes in the forest. Legends say this holy creature is a reincarnation of a sage that died on the lands it now protects. It has an acute awareness of its surroundings, so it seldom appears before people. It's sometimes known by its other name, Satori."

The Lord of the Mountain is the reincarnation of one of the earliest Sages of Light, Satori, who lived during the Tapestry era of Hyrule. In his life, he was known for excelling in magic and being good with children; he would teach young Hylians how to use the light spells of their birthright, hanging softly glowing balls of colored light in the air like bubbles for them to chase and showing them how to light up walkways with their own power to lead them home at night.

When the first Calamity struck, the temple he lived in crumbled. He lost his life using as much magic as he could to keep the roof from caving in, holding it long enough so everyone else could escape, before passing out from exhaustion.

On the anniversary of his death, the Lord of the Mountain appeared in the ruins.

To this day, Satori's memory lives on, even through the troubling times of Hyrule. Whenever the country experiences its own calamity, be it from natural disaster, Ganon's return, or sweeping sickness, the people of Hyrule gather at the base of the mountain, carrying lanterns bearing the names of their dead. They offer their loved ones' memories to Satori for protection in the next life in a somber celebration called the Night of the Luminous.

If you're lucky, on clear nights, you might catch a glimpse of the Lord of the Mountain standing on Mt. Satori's peak, watching over the spirits in his care. But those in Hyrule know that they shouldn't interrupt the workings of the mountain spirit, and dare not approach, lest they be seen as a threat to the innocents he cares for.

Bonus fact: Luminous stones are associated with the dead due to their color resembling Satori's coat!

He turned up with a whole ass pineapple, a jar of jam, a stick of butter and a bottle of olive oil.

Once made the mistake of asking him to grab some pads from the hygiene section and specified it HAD to be with wings

Boy showed up ten minutes later and looking very confuzzled.

You questioned why he has a pack of wingless pads in one hand and a can of red bull in the other.

He said it’s because they didn’t have any with wings so he figured the Redbull would suffice and do the job for you.

NISHINOYA:

You have competitions on who can come up with the most and the loser always faces a penalty.
