Okay, I have a question:
If Alastor the Radio Demon is a mixed-raced Creole man, in his 30s-40s as stated on the Hazbin Wiki,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this is what Creole is,
Tumblr media
And the Creole people from the Louisiana area look like this,
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then WHY THE FUCK, is a WHITE TWINKISH MAN, the most common way of drawing human!Alastor?
And I'm not saying mixed-race Creole people cannot be white, they can, it's how gentics work, but they would still have features that are distinct to their black ancestors! None of those fan works have any black features!
Now I have seen some really good human! Alastor fan works where he looks like a charming Creole man and not some slimeball white dude. But still, the white washing is just, not cute.
ALSO! Alastor is AROMANTIC AND ASEXUAL! As an aro/ace person, the aro/ace erasure is far too common, in fiction and in real life!
Also, some of the ships from Hazbin are like, why? The only romantic ships I like from the Hazbin fandom are Angel Dust x Husk and Charlie x Vaggie, a.k.a Huskerdust and Chaggie. They're cute and I love the grumpy x sunshine, in a sense, dynamic.

Not star wars girlies on TikTok saying they PREFER the white-washed clones and justifying their appearance with "They grew up on a planet with lots of rain and little sun and always wear helmets." "Well, actually," 🤓☝️ "white skin developed due to a lack of sunlight, and clones don't get much sunlight."
NOT OVERNIGHT YOU 🤡. If a black or brown person moves to the UK where it's cloudy and rainy, they don't just suddenly become white. Your logic isn't logic-ing. This argument is wildly absurd.

My redneck neighbor Doug on Tech's Looks
(Me: "Doug, so you know, a lot of people are unhappy that the Bad Batch was made to be lighter then the regs. It's a hot topic."
Doug: "Well, here's my theory on the matter. I hope the kids on the Internet (his words for Tumblr) don't get too spicy over this. It's all in good fun. I hope it makes 'em smile and think a bit.")
After having a firm, peer-reviewed discussion (and by that, I mean endless texts with Doug) it has been concluded that Tech has lighter skin and hair, and a slimmer build, due to the Kaminoans leaning harder into the hillbilly part of Jango Fett’s genes, whereas the regs got the nicer, prettier, more amenable genes.
In short, Tech looks the way he does…because he is a blue-collar white guy from the American South.
A Florida redneck, specifically.
Tumblr media
And let me (by way of Doug) tell you: rednecks do not have beautiful tans, flawless fades, snatched waists, muscular thighs, diamond-sharp cheekbones, the ability to follow directions, or perfect matching armor, all of which a reg has.
Tumblr media
(Sorry, Howser, go back to guarding Ryloth or posing for GQ or whatever it is you do.)
Back to Tech. Look at that man and tell me the shit he gets up to would not be constantly at the top of r/floridaman
Tumblr media
A lot of people might clutch their pearls, and be shocked at this revelation.
“He has a fancy accent! He’s persnickety about certain things! He’s my fancy pretty boi and I’m going to dress him up in a gold thong in my fan art!”
You do you, kid. But let Doug and his neighbor here, Dr. Meat Muffin, defend this deranged argument, here. Using anthropological research applying autoethnographic methodologies that they conducted independently at one point.
(By that, we mean that Doug is from the bayous of Louisiana and has lived in the Florida Panhandle before moving Up North. Dr. MM attended graduate school in a redneck hot zone, lived in said redneck hot zone for a while, and married a Texan as well. Hook 'em gig 'em and wreck 'em)
After all, if you want an army to win over the galaxy and work with the Jedi, you want well-mannered, shiny, handsome men with melanin and agreeable personalities.
You do not want a pale-assed weirdo in jeans and a receding hairline who can’t get off his phone to work closely with orphaned space wizards.
Tech’s an anarchic Floridian piece of tornado bait and that’s why he look the way he do, says Doug.
Here's why Doug says Tech is a Redneck:
Mandalorians are Space Rednecks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trx7fDdlIo0. I do not own the rights to the video, but my God, it is perfection. A masterpiece. Mandalorians are rednecks in space, who end up colonizing Space Florida, no questions asked. Our theory is Tech is merely the concentrated, Waffle House-fistfighting, chew-dipping, Mountain Dew chugging, part of that. The Kaminoans just leaned into the trailer park part of Jango Fett hard when designing Tech, because no one can fix cars while shooting a gun and yelling at his crazy brothers like a redneck (more on that below).
Hell, all of the Bad Batch are different brands of Florida Man:
Grizzled long haired tan guy with skull tattoo, obsessed with tracking, knife fighting, and hiding from normal society? Hunter.
Bald tanned dude with weird scars who loves blowing shit up and screaming for no reason? Wrecker
Pale, freaked out man who was kept in a cult’s closet for years? Echo
Creepy, old, Second Amendment loving white guy with a gun themed tattoo who can’t seem to die? Crosshair
Maladjusted orphan left behind at a bar by her inexperienced caretakers and almost drowns in the ocean? Omega
His love of vehicles: We never see Tech whip out a manual to fix anything. The man says it’s because he has an exceptional mind, but that’s edging dangerously close to “Ah don’t need no schoolin’, hoss, I can fix any Ford!”.  Doug thinks it’s just because Tech loves playing with car parts, which is some grade A, hillbilly tomfoolery. And what is more redneck than some white guy ripping apart a vehicle in the dirt while the rest of his family bitches at each other in the heat? It happened right here in Season 2 (this exact scenario has played out many-a-time in Pensacola, trust me). All they need is some Lynyrd Skynyrd blasting in the background to make the picture complete.
His clothing color scheme: “Oh, no!” you wail. “He just changed his colors to reflect Mandalorian heritage!”
WRONG.
Tech’s redneckery is blatant here, because his colors switch from
Hot Topic goth to…UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA.
Tumblr media
“We’re loyal to each other,” says Hunter. And by that, he means the Gators, beloved of many an NCAA following redneck in the Sunshine State and beyond. Orange and Blue, indeed.
Tumblr media
Notice how we first see him in these colors, is while he’s parked his stolen work vehicle on a beach while his brothers are busy being chased by huge-ass crabs as their sister is quietly fishing?!
This is PEAK FLORIDA MAN.
Tech was probably trying to get ESPN+ to work on the Marauder, because the Devil works hard, but the SEC works harder during football season. I wonder if he has a tattoo of Tim Tebow on his buttcheek.
His home is his car: Tech, as well as his unemployed brothers and underaged sister who the cops are looking for (how trashy is THAT sentence), live in the Havoc Marauder now that their home was destroyed in a fire fight with the government.
("Jesus Christ, this argument just writes itself now, don’t it," -Doug)
This attack shuttle, for all intents and purposes, is a stolen work truck that they live in. It’s filled with posters of guns, as well as other weapons and explosives, and has all the comfort of a Jacksonville gas station at 2 AM. All you need is some cigarette burns on the fender and some empty take out bags from Bojangles and it might as well be parked down by the river in Suwannee County. Just Florida redneckery. Speaking of which….
He loves guns and explosions: Won’t go into detail, but the man knows how to use multiple pistols, rifles, and different tactile maneuvers with glee. Tech’s only notable complaint regarding explosions is making sure Wrecker’s new fancy boom-booms aren’t parked next to his bunk. And the look of calm joy when his sister tells his brother ‘Do some damage, Wrecker!’ as Tech pulls a Bo Duke and flings his vehicle across a locked up work site, while his deranged brother giggles and fires some guns at a government-owned power plant from the back seat. PURE. UNADULTERATED. REDNECK.
He’s a racer: It is a fact (with peer reviewed research) that rednecks really, really love them some racing. NASCAR, motocross, BMX, you name it. And if you’ve seen ‘Faster’, well, that’s all you need to know about the man.
He has no fear of large animals: We’ve never seen him hunt, but Tech knows how to distract massive amounts of nasty animals using light, and the first response to seeing a terrifying monster isn't running away screaming, but whispering ‘FASCINATING’., before, ya know, firing a gun at it. It’s one step away from ‘IT’S COMING RIGHT FOR US’. You KNOW that man would be sponsoring gator wrasslin' contests if he could.
His actions towards His family: This is where Tech truly differentiates himself from the typical ‘geek’ character and leans hard into King of the Hill territory. Whereas a normal nerd character might nag and panic when his sister falls down a hole while drilling for explosives in a cave (dear God Doug, how much more redneck examples can you keep pointing out, I’m exhausted), Tech merely YEETS HIMSELF down into the abyss. Or when his brother picks a fight in the mess hall? Does Tech run away, or just start punching people like it's past closing time in the Applebee's parking lot in Daytona and the Dolphins lost? And let's not discuss the season finale :(. Rednecks are some loyal folks, family first, and that’s our man’s right there.
There you have it, says Doug. Tech isn’t lighter because he’s better than the regs. The opposite.
You can not be a deranged, adrenaline filled, sassy, goggled weirdo flying throughout space and blowing shit up and not be pale AF with twiggy legs and a receding hairline that’s edging towards Hunter S. Thompson level, born out of America's Sunshine state while a hurricane chases you out.

I love TCW and TBB but the white washing still pisses me off
All clones are meant to look like their live action counter pasts which are portrayed by Temuera Morrison
Temuera Morrison  IS NOT WHITE
HE IS Māori
I’ve literally heard people say “He’s not POC because he’s light skinned” or “He’s not POC because he’s got Scottish ancestry”
That’s just fucking stupid and racist you’re disgusting!
—————————————————————————
This is a picture of Temuera Morrison around the time Attack of the clones was being filmed and also him portraying Jango Fett in that movie:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you can see he is not super pale and his hair is VERY CLEARLY CURRLY!
Now here is a picture of Rex with the normal clone skin tone next to my poor boy Tech :(
Tumblr media Tumblr media
LIKE WTF??????
After the release of the original trailer for season one of TBB they actually had to go back in and darken the clones skin tone due to all the back lash they got, but Tech still looks like this and Crosshair is also paler then the other clones aside from Tech.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then there’s the clones with longer hair like Howzer, Obviously Hunter, and now Emerie too. WHERE’S THE CURL????? I highly doubt every clone straightens their hair every day!
It’s also the child clones too!
Tumblr media
Omega always looks like she has pin straight hair
here’s some more examples
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will give them a partial pass because Daniel Logan who portrayed young Boba Fett in live action does not have the same hair texture as Temuera but still I feel like it should be based more on the adults then the children and the adults aren’t even accurate! Plus the kids are kinda pale too.
—————————————————————————
AND I DON’T WANT TO HERE ANYONE SAYING THAT IT WAS A STYLISTIC CHOICE OR THRY COUND’T MANAGE IT. THEY’VE DRAWN MULTIPLE HAIR TEXTURES BEFORE! and that’s also just not an excuse in general. If an art style can’t accurately represent certain hair textures there is a problem with that art style.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
—————————————————————————
Also I gotta say it I am not a fan of the cyborg Echo design
Tumblr media
Like come on now give my boy back his melanin
—————————————————————————
It’s season three Of TBB with new episodes coming out every Wednesday and there’s been seven seasons of TCW. Why has Disney not adressed these issues and fixed them if it’s something the fans have been mad about for a long time? Star Wars loves taking advice from their fans until they critique it on their harmful design choices.
—————————————————————————
I know this is a Star Wars thing, but I think it’s important for everyone to see

Stephanie Meyer in her“The Twilight Saga: Official Illustrated Guide” wrote that vampire pallor is part of the transformation new vampires undergo that beautifies them as their melanin drains away, resulting in their white skin.
In fact, in the first chapter, in which she describes the physical characteristics common to all vampires, Meyer wrote:
In the Twilight universe all vampires were originally human. As vampires, they retain a close physical resemblance to their human form, the only reliably noticeable differences being a universal pallor of skin, a change in eye color, and heightened beauty.
More orver the typical vampire pallor is not attribuite, as traditional thrope impose, to the fact that vampires are dead, recalling the repulsive look of a corpse, but to an element of crystalline, supernatural form of beauty, which is described as following:
The common factor of beauty among vampires is mostly due to this crystalline skin. The perfect smoothness, gloss, and even color of the skin give the illusion of a flawless face.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, dark skinned or deeper skin toned people will have very light olive skin as vampires. In fact the only creature who keeps a natural dark-skin is Nahuel, the vampire-human hybrid (born to a white European vampire and a indigenous woman), who is described having “dark brown skin”, while his Aunt Huilen, a full-indigenous woman has “an olive tone to her pale skin” due to being a vampire. Let's see more examples in the book where this “white washing” effect of vampirism is more explicit:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vampires in Stephanie Meyer's books are white and pure because Mormons believe people who are not white will be white in heaven. I can't 100% remember the reason or events but during some event they think God turned some people black because they either betrayed him or Jesus. So when you are a good person and go to heaven he will remove that. If you look into what Mormons believe it's almost as crazy as scientology.
Ok, apparently, Mormons think black and dark-skinned people are in some way descendants of Cain, who was banished from human community and condamned by God to a nomadic life. However, God was pleased by blood sacrifice (God favored Abel who killed animals for God, while Cain offered the products of earth he cultivated) and gives Cain a mark, known as “Mark of Cain” (Genesis 4:15). This mark of Cain is God's promise to offer Cain divine protection from premature death with the stated purpose of preventing anyone from killing him. Bible does not identify the exact nature of the mark God put on Cain. Whatever it was, it was a sign/indicator that Cain was not to be killed (but also a warn that helped others to spot him as a murder to not trust). Some propose that the mark was a scar, or some kind of tattoo (Maybe this is the source of Tattoo Prohibition in Leviticus 19:28). Whatever the case, the precise nature of the mark is not the focus of the passage. The focus is that God would not allow people to exact vengeance against Cain. Whatever the mark on Cain was, it served this purpose.
However, Brigham Young, one of the founders of Mormons and one of the earliest leader, described black people as cursed with dark skin as punishment for Cain’s murder of his brother. “Any man having one drop of the seed of Cane in him cannot hold the priesthood,” he declared in 1852. Young deemed black-white intermarriage so sinful that he suggested that a man could atone for it only by having “his head cut off” and spilling “his blood upon the ground.”
For more information about the racial question among Mormons, I suggest this article of New York Times:

Whitewashing and why you shouldn't do (or support) it
Disclaimer: This post will specifically address the white washing of Black people and characters.
What is white washing? White washing in the context of fanart is when you take a character of color, usually one with brown/black skin, and either make their skin lighter, give them more Eurocentric features, or both.
Why is it harmful? To explain why this is harmful, I will use one of the first examples of fanart; renaissance paintings of ancient Greek myths. Specifically, artwork featuring Princess Andromeda. Go to your search engine and type in "princess Andromeda". Based on those images, you would never have known that in the original Greek legends, Andromeda was black. So why is she most often depicted as a white woman?
McGrath’s article was definitive in addressing three things: that all the Greek mythographers placed Andromeda as a princess of Ethiopia, that Ovid specifically refers to her dark skin and that artists throughout Western art history frequently omitted to depict her blackness because Andromeda was supposed to be beautiful, and blackness and beauty – for many of them – was dichotomous.
That quote is from this article, and I highly recommend you give it a read. When you whitewash a character, you are perpetuating the idea in the quote above. That this character you like, whether you like them because they're funny or smart or beautiful, cannot be those things and also have black features.
Colorism and whitewashing
I'm going to bring up colorism, because sometimes, people will have a character still look Black, but lighten their skin tone, essentially making a dark skinned character light skinned. That is not okay either.
colorism: prejudice or discrimination against individuals with a dark skin tone, typically among people of the same ethnic or racial group:
Lighter skinned Black people, while still targets of racism, are closer to whiteness than darker skinned Black people, and in some cases face less discrimination. When Black people first started to appear on TV, it was generally lighter skinned ones because that was more acceptable. This article goes more in depth about colorism.
Misogynoir and whitewashing.
Misogynoir is a word coined to describe the unique hatred that black women face. It is the intersection of racism and misogyny.
People may whitewash a female presenting character but not a male presenting character. One trait of misogyny is tying a womans worth to their beauty. When you realize that beauty and blackness were (and still are) seen as antonyms, the issue with this type of whitewashing is made clear.
Texturism and whitewashing
texturism: a form of social injustice, where afro-textured hair or coarse hair types are viewed negatively, often perceived as "unprofessional", "unattractive", or "unclean".
When Black characters were first introduced to media, aspects of them would be changed to heighten their proximity to whiteness and make them more palatable to white audiences. Black women would get perms or silk presses, and Black men would keep their hair cut short and "tidy." This would occur in normal workplaces as well. Black hair has too often been regarded as "unprofessional" or "thuggish."
Note: This does not mean that all Black women with silk presses or perms or all Black men with short hair are trying to heighten their proximity to whiteness, or do not love themselves and their hair.
Changing a Black character's natural hair/curl pattern to be more loosely textured can also be considered white washing, especially when paired with lightened skin. However, it is very nuanced; some people may want to show a character with a sew-in or wearing a wig, or just draw them with straightened hair. It is not always white washing, but it is a good thing to be aware of anyway. This article goes more in depth about texturisim.
How can you help?
Don't create, support, or reblog whitewashed art.
P.S. if anyone wants to come on this post bringing up blackwashing, read this (now updated) post of mine.

Dune fans are genuinely the most annoying people ever. I was going to watch the movie until I discovered just how white washed and cultural appropriation the whole movie is. Based on Middle Eastern and North African culture but won't hire any Middle Eastern or North African people in the main cast. It's orientalism its basically just wearing marginalzed and racialized cultures as a costume. Many Middle Eastern and North African people have criticized dune for this. And instead of accepting this they keep trying to gaslight people who point this out. Like No one is saying you are terrible person for liking dune or you can't like it yet you are acting like children instead of accepting valid criticism.
I wish people could be like the twilight fandom when it comes to enjoying work while still accepting valid criticism

A word to the fan artist community about MCU Namor who will be played by Tenoch Huerta; when coloring your arts please don't forget to take into account that Tenoch has dark skin and should not be lightwashed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This also goes for any characters played by actors/ess with dark skin tones. The Black Panther cast has so many different ranges of skin tone and there are tutorials out there to help artists.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please understand that this is an ongoing issue in fandom for dark skinned characters to have their skin tones light or white washed and being aware of the issue will help to solve the problem.
Please be respectful of portraying them correctly.
Thank You.

You're telling me that you could use these GODLY men as an example for Xaden and you pick some AI created Italian man?!
Touch some grass racist mf everywhere. It seems like the only time I see accurate representation of Melanated characters is when it is so undeniable like Helion and Tarquin and Rhiannon. Because only when it is so clear that you can't argue it you'll show proper representation which also just so happens to be supporting characters doesn't it. Regardless of whether or not you're recognizing this is racist behavior it is just because you can't see the fact that it is damaging to marginalized communities is disgusting.
It's also interesting that I can post everything and anything about characters in the different book Fandoms and people jump at that content but then the moment I start talking about white washing y'all seem to clam up and not want to have that conversation. Guess what Samantha. It's happening.

i was today years old when i found out that in the harry potter movies lavender brown had a black actress but got recast in the 6th film now i know why this was done because they didn't know lavender would have a proper role and just assigned her to a random background actor but why did they recast her as white? i understand that if they didn't feel like the original actress fit the role they might want to recast her but with how successful the films are even in production it probably wouldn't have been hard to find a black actress

If you’re not black you’re not a Stud.
If you’re not Indigenous you’re not a Two Spirit.
It’s the same caliber of not being black/mixed and calling yourself “light skinned”
If you’re using any BIPOC terms when referring to yourself and you’re NOT that’s so cringe.

Aight y'all, let's discuss the whole Genshin Impact Sumeru problem. This isnt about the leaks, it's about managing expectations and deciding for yourself whether or not sumeru (and natlan by the looks of things) will be a deal breaker for y'all playing the game. Long post ahead.
I'm from one of the countries that Sumeru is supposedly inspired by, so personally I had no faith in the devs. For anyone expecting the region to be accurate in any way, I'm sorry but it simply will not and cannot be. Sumeru was doomed from the word go. That isn't to say it's going to be all bad, of course, the team in charge of geography and landscaping clearly did a great job and put a lot of work into it, but the folks at the music and cultural department didn't get the same memo.
Let's start off with intentions. Sumeru was announced to be inspired by the middle east, India, Pakistan, and the regions thereabouts. From the word go that's a red flag that just means "vaguely brown"
Why? Because brown cultures aren't popular. The reason japan and liyue are as detailed as they are, is because the game devs are chinese, and japanese "culture" is popularised via the spread of anime. Of course, it isnt accurate, but all that matters is most people thinking that its accurate. The music in both regions was amazing, in part because japanese and chinese cultures are closely tied and take inspiration from one another in many musical aspects.
Why do you think inazuma is filled with sakura trees and foxes? Why do you think it has a light novel fad? Because all these things constitute the parts of Japan that have been glamorized to the world. The sakura trees bloom once a year but anime makes people (and let's be honest a lot of them are white people) think it's far more common.
What does this have to do with sumeru? Well? Is any brown culture popular in the mainstream? The extent of it that most people see is just those vaguely brown bazaars and deserts that so many action movie chase scenes happen in. You end up correlating brown with turbans and onion domes, but can you honestly say you know what the significance is behind either of them?
Mihoyo is a chinese gacha studio driven by profits. White sells, vaguely brown sells, and so long as they can make it look good on the surface they dont much care for accuracy. In fact, accuracy has been impossible from the word go, too.
The teaser we recieved of sumeru in the teyvat chapter storyline is Cyno. What is the one thing we all know is attributed to cyno? Anubis. Is Anubis brown? Of course not that's Egyptian, thats African culture. But in the eyes of whitewashers, in the eyes of folks whose beauty standards are dependent on fairness of skin, Egyptians are brown or white. This is where I knew for sure they were just trying to polite about saying that Sumeru would be based off of brown folks.
I'm not saying you should stop playing the game entirely, and I'm not saying you shouldn't argue and fight with mihoyo over it, but you DO need to be prepared for this to happen with Natlan. You need to understand, that if you're the kind of person that cares about accurate representation in Sumeru, you also likely aren't the kind of big spender mihoyo gives a shit about.
On a other note, lots of people have been pissed off with the archon design. I'm afraid to say I entirely expected this as well. If you aren't brown yourself, if you arent from a middle eastern or south east asian country, you may not be familiar with the trope of the "Lily in the Desert". It's a popular thing once you look for it.
In a desert, the most beautiful woman or the most important one is always as pale as can be, especially when the desert region isnt the focus of the story. The Lily of the desert is pretty, delicate, fragile, pale. Often times she is smaller than others, and will appear almost like porcelain. Sound familiar?
Mihoyo might give a singular shit about the architecture, if only because the department in charge of building designs has proven themselves to be passionate. But don't get your hopes up.
The only reason we accept this kind of thing with monstadt despite the Germanic roots being barely referenced, is because they filled monstadt with white folks and German-ish names. Does any monstadt music sound specifically Germanic to you? No? Just Vaguely European again? Yeah that's probably what you'll see in Fontaine too. We dont look too hard because they're supposed to be white and so them being milk-toast in the cultural sense makes sense to the white people playing.
I'm not saying any of this to be rude, and I'm well aware that a lot of what I'm saying could be taken the wrong way.
So in closing, you need to decide now whether sumeru is a dealbreaker for you. When deciding, keep in mind that the gameplay, the character designs and music will still be good (though the characters will be pale and the music is also vaguely brown) and the landscaping will remain immaculate. The story will remain good. However, mihoyo will not listen to complaints from non-spenders, and you need to manage your expectations because at the end of the day, this dev studio has never had to think about cultural awareness before and they arent going to start any time soon.
Chinese companies have an incredibly ethnocentric world view, and despite all the good titles and works you see from them there will always be an underlying shade bias and ignorance to other ethnicities that arent part of the mainstream.
I personally will continue to play because this sort of thing was unavoidable. Of course I'm bummed out about it, of course I had a little hope, but having my culture overlooked is nothing new to me. If I boycotted things based off of it, I'd never experience anything.
Your decision on whether or not to keep playing too, is no way a measure of your morality. People want to enjoy things, I get it, and problematic media can sometimes be enjoyable. What's important is to recognize the issues, and keep pushing for improvement while you go along.
Anyway, that's my perspective on the Sumeru issue. I'm sure others feel differently, but I'm not claiming to speak for everyone. If theres any area here that requires clarification, feel free to ask and I'll get back to you when I can.
As an aside, I am not Muslim nor do I have a deep understanding of Islam so I will defer to the Islamic community on the Dori issue.
