I’ve decided to draw out one of Sorina’s animal familiars, her favorite actually, which is a giant black snake who is named: Şarpe (meaning snake in Romanian language) I didn’t know what kind of animal would suit Sorina at first but when I searched around, I happen to find that Snakes were more of her type since they are pretty to look at and can kill you in a strike if you get on their bad side. I’d like to think of Şarpe to be a giant version of a black mamba since they are currently one of the most deadliest of snakes on earth, fast, and lethally venomous! While she is favored, Sorina doesn’t really use Şarpe unless she’s aware that her weapons and other abilities won’t be enough for a grand battle. Orrr if she’s sick of someone being a pest to her, she’ll summon her to kill and feast on them😅

Survey for Spirit Workers Response! Part 2.

--- Finishing up the survey -- which is from @friend-crow ---- 11. Have you been through an initiation process, and if so, what can you tell us about it? Initiation, in what setting? Like in a religion or just initiation for vetting a spirit/entity? I'll just go for the second. Well, for me, it's simply noticing an entity/spirit has been around the area and me observing closely on its intentions. If they pass the vibe check, I will open communication. I take a long time before I actually warm up to even talk to some of them. Some spirits/entities are good at their act to come off friendly or altruistic, and this can last for months to years... until they show their true colors. But once that's done and if things went well, they're free to help out the energy around the house if they choose to. (As for joining the Family, we are keeping it closed now)

12. How do you define "familiar spirits"? A guide that's mostly depicted as an animal in some form that helps you along the way. I honestly don't have that much information otherwise. I am currently still reading up on them. 13. Thoughts on working with familiar spirits vs. other guides/teachers/allies? I always tend to work with my Family, with the extension of that help from archangels and a faerie. I am thinking of actually reaching out to Padre Pio, since he has came agggressively into my spiritual life here and there unexpectedly. But I am very selective on who I can trust to help me, but I try not to be too closed off either.

14. Do you differentiate between ghosts and other spirits of the dead? If so, how? Yes. There are different types of ghosts that I've seen. Some you see are stuck and they are kept in place where they dwell until they become self aware of their situation, or until they finish to let go of a task that they believe need mending that wasn't done in their previous life. Some are vengeful and stubborn of course... Some of the deceased I saw became guardians over their loved ones -- which I find are some of the most fierce protectors, for a good reason. Some had died but underwent some interesting transformations to perform a divine task and guide someone until their duty is done. And some...are just kind of there. I'm not quite sure how to describe those. Now, I'm obviously no expert but that's what I observed.

15. Do you have a different approach for dealing with ghosts? If so, what is it? Ghosts are strictly not allowed here unless it's my deceased loved ones. We made sure to put up some wards and protection spells around the house. Other times, I'll have a ghost that's curious of us from time to time but they are told they need to move on to where they need to go. Very few had stuck around for longer periods of time where I actually need to help them get to the other side.

16. Any regrets or things you'd do differently looking back at your career as a spirit worker? I don't have any regrets. However, I wish I did some vetting more thoroughly and meticulously from the start, but that's to be expected. I am just lucky that my Family had no malicious intent...as far as I know of. I think going forward, I need to learn to put more faith in my Family instead -- trust wise. I'm not very light on trust when it comes to spirits and entities at all.

17. Anything else you'd like to share?

Honestly, I never thought I'd come this far. Let alone how different the results of my spirit work has became compared to my expectations. I remember I was just going to stick with G as my only companion...and then it grew to 10 -- with entities and spirits I never would honestly expect to befriend at first. (To my Family: No offense, but you know exactly what I mean.) But...they were meant to be in my life and we are compatible together. I adore each and every one of them.

As for a lot of things I do, I do one character I feel the need to do them all. Other characters below Hoka! Quiz here!

Hohoka Hoka - Falcon

Being one of the fastest fliers in the animal kingdom, the Falcon uses its wits and precise dives to catch their prey. Just like these birds of prey, you are a high-functioning, quick thinker, and always seem to be a step or two ahead of your peers. Because of this, you may be greatly annoyed by the ignorance of others. You already have your goals and aspirations for the future set, and nothing gets in the way of that on your watch. A Falcon familiar helps their master remain calm and focus and keeps an eye out for those who may be their enemies ~~ This familiar represents Mental strength, swiftness, intellect, focus, superiority, goals and aspirations, planning ~~ I'd say this is quite accurate to Hoka! Sure she might be an adventurer - her life going wherever she is needed- but her goals to just be happy and to live align with this life she's made.

Kiyomi Umihou - Tiger

The Tiger, though very, very powerful, is a dangerous, mysterious, and unpredictable familiar. They are often the companion of one who has strong feelings of vengeance or hate to another person. However, you are most likely very independent and sure of who you are, and strive to be yourself and not conform to others. You have pushed through even the toughest of situations through willpower and wise decisions, if you are able to keep your feelings of anger in check. A Tiger familiar is a very strong, vicious partner in battle, helps their master through mental stress, and gives them the will to continue on. ~~ This familiar represents Shadows, Willpower, Anger, Unpredictability, Mystery, Wisdom ~~ Yeah this is Kiyomi. She is strong, built from some of the toughest situations. She fights those who hurt others with vicious rage.

Aluette Verbena - Deer

The Deer familiar is mostly known for its shy, gentle personality and closeness to nature. They are very graceful and gentle creatures, representing harmony and a soft-heart. However, that does not mean being defenseless, as the antlers of a stag show determination and good (but not prideful) self-esteem. These familiars are very sensitive to changes in the environment and use their knowledge never to harm, but to warn you of danger or an action you could regret A Deer familiar inspires their master and friends with ideas, raise their confidence, and warn them of danger or their actions ~~ This familiar represents Gentleness, Grace, Innocence, Confidence, Nature, Sensitiveness ~~ This is perfect for Aluette. She is graceful and gentle but also won't hesitate to defend herself.

Quill Verbena - Butterfly

Though often overlooked, the Butterfly familiar is a major symbol of one who has had a major change or transformation in their life. Very likely, you have gone through many struggles in life, many of them within yourself, as you tried to find out who you were and what your purpose was. Maybe you are still going through that, or maybe you have had a breakthrough and discovered who you truly are inside. Butterflies represent a lively, inspired individual, and understanding life's deepest secrets A Butterfly familiar helps their master stay sure of themselves, as well as inspire them throughout life ~~ This familiar represents Transformation, Breakthrough in character, Understanding, Secrets, Liveliness, Inspiration, Uniqueness ~~ Oh man, there could not have been a better animal for Quill. Having struggled to find out who he is beyond his mother's tenth son, he has finally had that breakthrough in his character after ARR.

Aisbryda Wyznbyrtwyn- Grizzly Bear

A Grizzly Bear undeniably represents the power of nature, closeness to the earth, and the heart of a brave, presevering warrior. At times, they can seem calm and stable. However, if one hurts them or their cubs, they will fight with some of the greatest ferocity of any animal on earth. In the same way, you will fight until the very end to protect those cloe to you. However, you are actually a very soft-hearted, peaceful individual inside. A Bear familiar is an excellent companion in battle, will loyally protect their master, and fills them with bravery when they need it the most. ~~ This familiar represents Protection, Power, Courage, Freedom, Unpredictability, Ferocity ~~ This is a wonderful match for Aisbryda who is overall peaceful, but she will protect anyone who she feels needs protection. She also loves her freedom and life of adventure

Faine Beltarois - Wild Horse

The Wild Horse familiar clearly shows the essence of strength and drive to be free. You are not afraid of what others think, and do not hold back when expressing yourself and your ideas. Be aware, as your determination could give way to stubbornness, and your goals could end up running your life instead of yourself. Overall, this familiar guides you to follow your dreams no matter what the cost. However, sometimes you need to constrain that rebellious side of yourself before someone else has to for you. A Wild Horse familiar drives their master on to pursue their dreams, aids them through difficult areas and times, and inspires them to stay confident. ~~ This familiar represents A rebellious spirit, Confidence, Freedom, Strength, Slight Instability, Drive to accomplish dreams ~~ This feels pretty spot-on for Faine. Her freedom is very important to her and Twelve help anyone who gets in the way of that.

Odinvel Urselmert - Black Leopard

Also known as the Panther, this animal familiar is very stealthy and silent, seemingly the essence of the night and shadows. However, they are far from having an evil or dark reputation. Black Leopards represent seeing the beauty in all things and finding good in even the darkest of circumstances. People with this familiar are usually good at expressing themselves, either artistically or through their talents and passions. A Black Leopard familiar helps their master feel safe and secure, inspires them, and can act as a mentor or teacher to them. ~~ This familiar represents Expressing yourself, Seeing the beauty in anything, Facing fears, Intelligence, Night, Grace ~~ This is quite on point for Odinvel. His music helps him express himself and he loves it. As a Duskwright, he is also seen by some "seemingly the essence of night and shadows".

Albi Halibi - Garden Bird

Ranging from Finches to Wrens, Hummingbirds to Jays, there is a wid variety of birds that could be your familiar. Usually smaller in size compared to birds such as eagles or parrots, they are no less important. They are very quick-paced, lively animals, and, in the same way, you are very quick to react to situations and prefer not to have second thoughts. Though you may have a playful nature, it is matched by your independent mindset, preferring to be free and yourself than to conform to the crowd. A Bird familiar allows their master to feel the freedom to express themselves and leads them towards adventure in life. ~~ This familiar represents Freedom, Expressing yourself, Quick thinking, Playfulness, Liveliness, Adventure, Potential ~~ This pretty much lines up with Albi. He is very quick thinking and prehaps a little playful.
