I can imagine Dally and Darry looking reeeally alike, and also the similar nicknames, causing confusion in town.

It's not a confusion that usually lasts a long time, tho. It's two or three days of pure curiosity until someone dares to ask them:

"Hey, are you two brothers?"

And their faces just say it all. Like, they're really Surprised to say the least, and Darry somehow manages to have a look on his face as if someone told them there was a bomb on his house. Dally looks like he had won a million dollars.

Dally definitely uses it to intimidate people bigger than him, (it's not that he can't deal with them, but that most times he's not in the mood go back to Buck's with a black eye or something like that), so he's like

"You know Darry Curtis?" And the person he's talking to looks confused, they're not sure why Darry is being brought up to the conversation, they nod their head. "Well, that's my brother. So, yo know, he's gonna find you if you put a hand on me, and that wouldn't be good"

Somehow the person believes it and they look really frustrated as they leave, and then Dally goes on with his life

But it also brings lots of confusions around the Curtis house.

Like (imagine in a context where Dally is still pretty new in Tulsa) suddenly, Tim Shepard comes to the Curtis house, and Darry is genuinely surprised but tells him "hey, dude, is everything ok? You wanna come in?"

But Tim is like "Knock it off, Curtis, you tell your brother to stop messing shit with my car or I'll beat the shit out of him"

So Darry calls Soda. And he makes Sodapop apologize to Tim. But Tim has this look on his face that's like Are you fucking kidding me?

"Not Soda, the other one"

So Darry calls Pony. And Pony has barely any idea of what is going on.

"I'm talking about the one with the leather jacket, you idiot"

And it takes him genuinely five minutes for Darry to understand that they're talking about Dallas.

"Oh, no, man, Dally's not my brother"

"No shit, Sherlock, I figured that out."

Darry still makes Dallas apologizd with tears for damaging Tim's car AND lying

so it's all good :3

Regardless of the fandom's divided opinions on whether they want Simon to get back together with Betty, in Fiona and Cake, or just move on without her, having little chance of getting her back.

Doesn't it seem a little strange that in some corners there is the idea of having Betty as a loss? (not everyone says that) what is happening simon, she is practically not dead, i understand that in some cases they use the term as a reference to the topic of her leaving simon to protect him.

but it's kind of weird to have those kind of posts where there's a focus more like she's something that's already dead and needs to be let go, man the girl is alive XD my poor betty had no idea that she would have to take the painful step to become a deity.

Been thinking that, since Jace and Luke are always together, in order to be with Jace, Aemond would have to learn how to get along with Luke or at least to bear with him being constantly around them and the thought had me rolling.

My top 10 from this year!! This year has been really special to me social media wise, I have been following TDP for over 4 years but I decided to be more active in the fandom this 2023, there are very nice people there and I didn't expect my posts to get this much support! It's always a joy to read the tags and reblogs, even if it takes me some time but I promise I eventually see them all. Seeing other posts from people and following others has also been really enjoyable since that was something I tried to avoid because anxiety and not good experience with past fandoms but I’m learning to control it haha.

There’s a lot of stuff I want to talk about and a lot of ideas for shitposts and art so expect me to be even more insufferable this sweet 2024

Personal wise, while 2023 was better than 2022 there were still some hiccups but I’m really excited to 2024 for a lot of reasons, I hope all of you are excited as well or expect good things. Whatever it is thanks for the great year and I hope you have a nice night.
