Listen. Wentworth Miller doesn't like to play straight characters. He has said that he played his Earth 1 Leonard Snart as pansexual (even tho on screen we are only confirmed that Earth X Leo is gay). In the Arrowverse E1 Len only ever shows interest in Sara, a very woman-loving bisexual who is fierce and energetic and good but willing to play in the gray areas... Who else has those qualities? Barry Allen. A man who inspired Leonard, first to up his game and then to be a hero. And Wentworth Miller is very thoughtful about his characters. So I absolutely believe there was intentional attraction and maybe even love from Leonard's end toward Barry. Like the chemistry between them is unreal and stronger than it is between Len and Sara. So I think unrequited Coldflash is canon and it doesn't take much tweaking to make it two-sided in fanon lol. Just make Barry bisexual instead of Irissexual and we get there. Even Grant Gustin has said there's probably a lot more to the Coldflash relationship than we got to see. Ty for coming to my Coldflash Ted talk that is probably 9 years late at this point.

I’m really bored in class, and I said forever ago I might do this. So, here’s DC characters and my hcs for them (ethnicity, gender, sexuality, etc). 

Bruce Wayne: Half-Jewish (mothers’ side, see Kane family). Pansexual. He/Him.

Dick Grayson: Romani. Bisexual. He/Him, but is fine with They/Them.

Jason Todd: Hispanic from his mother’s side (Sheila and Catherine). Unlabeled, but dates any gender. He/They.

Tim Drake: Wasian, Chinese from his mother’s side. Bisexual, leans towards men. He/They.

Duke Thomas: Half African American, Half whatever his dad (Gnomon) is. Demi bisexual. He/Him.

If I was allowed to make a Green Lantern movie Hal would be mixed-race, explicitly bisexual with Sinestro outright being referred to as his ex-boyfriend and I would constantly drop hints that he’s dating Barry Allen except I would never say Barry’s name, Hal would just talk about his boyfriend being a forensic scientist who “works a lot of late shifts” and the Flash’s symbol would show up on his phone whenever he got a text or call from said boyfriend

And the plot of the movie would just be a comedy adventure in space where Hal is constantly complaining about working overtime and missing dates and his comedy partner would of course be John Stewart, the new Lantern on the block whom Hal is meant to be training. Ideally I would have a post-credit scene of Hal entering his room on OA and you would see a red and gold blur and then from behind Hal you would hear a male voice saying, “Hey, Hotshot. Miss me?” and it would cut to black

Generally, I don’t have many. Headcanons don’t come naturally to me. Sometimes I’ll be writing and be like “oh. Well that makes complete sense!” And now that’s apart of the story, but it could completely disappear in the next one.

First thing first— he is a bisexual disaster and I think we all agree on this. Mentioned or not, that is and will continue to be canon in every single one of my fics

Mentioned this a couple times but I really think he has some therapy related trauma from when his mom died. Joe sent him (probably against his wishes) and the therapist wouldn’t believe him about Henry just like everybody else, probably tried to gaslight him into believing it as well. And that of course means he refuses to seek therapy in hus adult like even though he DESPERATELY needs it— good gods PLEASE as you can probably see, this one isn’t that fleshed out lol

Thought about this one a lot and I really think he’s still scared of the dark and sleeps with a light/nightlight. Maybe it’s because of Nora dying literally the night he was comfortable with the light being off (I wanna say that was a flashback from 1x10 ‘The Man in the Yellow Suit’) cause everytime I watch that scene my brain just goes ‘oh yeah that’s childhood trauma unlocked right there’. Could’ve easily created a negative association but I might be overthinking that one. However it does kind of lead to my next one

Like our friend Oliver Queen— Barry 1000% has PTSD. He’s displayed multiple symptoms of it throughout the course of the show, most notably in seasons 1 and 2 imo but it’s been a while since the later seasons for me. Just to reaffirm this, I looked it up and he has SO MANY of the symptoms therapy. now. Definitely from the night his mom died and probably some Zoom related trauma (the nightmares, flashbacks in 2x07, his obsession with stopping Zoom etc.) Yeah I’m not a doctor but it doesn’t take a degree to know he has PTSD that rhymed
