Obama is not a war criminal. That is a disingenuous, bad-faith argument used by the Online Leftists TM who I have often critiqued. There are valid criticisms and questions to be asked about his foreign policy overall, but it is not an actual, definable war crime such as the Bush administration enabled and facilitated in the invasion of Iraq particularly, which was based on thoroughgoing lies about "weapons of mass destruction" and committed widespread atrocities, with the direct knowledge of Bush and members of his administration such as powerful Vice President Dick Cheney. I suggest reading up on Abu Ghraib and its prisoner abuses by the US Army and the CIA, the private military company Blackwater and its mass murders of Iraqi civilians (for which Trump later pardoned them), Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo), and Halliburton, just for a start. These systemic abuses, especially at Abu Ghraib and Gitmo, were explicitly defended by the Department of Justice in the "Torture Memos." Let's not forget Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, for whom there is an actual legal case to charge with war crimes due to the Bush years. (They can't, because he's dead, but still.)

This should also mention the Patriot Act, the War on Terror, and the other disgraceful large-scale changes that made unprecedented mass surveillance and spying on civilians legal across America, in the name of "fighting terrorism." The war in Afghanistan went on for 20 years, achieved nothing except a lot more atrocities and actual war crimes, and wasn't even relevant to catching Osama bin Laden (who was eventually found hiding in a plushy Pakistani suburb and taken out.... in 2011, by the Obama administration). So yes. There's a lot there for you to educate yourself, and you will see what I mean.

okay so we know that tech's helmet is made to go over his goggles , they don't catch on the rims or anything thus tech's helmet would have had to come off before his goggles did if they somehow managed to whilst he fell ??

i highly doubt tech has an seal on his helmet due to it needing to be open for his goggles thus perhaps is less secure ?? we even see his goggles being moved round & nearly dislodged when he is flying with omega so they aren't very tightly on his head.

yet hemlock said 'i'm afraid this is all that I could salvage' when talking with hunter about the smashed goggles ...

so with all that air support that imperial base has & the threat any clone from clone force 99 poses so they wouldn't just leave it an unknown if tech survived thus they would search for his body right ??? but hemlock couldn't locate tech's helmet , other armour , or even parts of it , let alone his body ????? only a shattered pair of goggles ...

which is entirely probably that hemlock just finds tech's goggles because when tech is falling , it looks as if he's flipping over which makes sense if he wants to face the ground so he can find a possible handhold / grapple hold to escape & it could be a reason why his helmet may slip off with all the air rushing by same with his goggles or because he's being whipped round as he falls ?

or say tech does catch himself hitting the ground , he leaves his goggles on the ground , breaking them in hopes that hemlock's arrogance would blind him to searching more ?? assuming that hemlock would think they flew off in the fall as well ??

Not to be like "fantasy worlds can't have their own laws different from the real world" but isn't it still kinda really fucked up how easy it is to swap literal eyeballs in Naruto? The only character who has an actual scar from eyeball swapping is Kakashi. Madara, Obito, Nagato, Hanabi, and Toneri all do not. And we've even seen Hinata take Hanabi's eyes out of Toneri's fucking face and hold them in her hands like she was plucking grapes from a vine. Neurodivergency is wild, everyone.

The neurodivergent urge to NEVER throw anything away, even if it’s broken/torn/ruined in some way, JUST IN CASE it comes in handy.

I have a pajama rotation I have lived by for over five years, and my Thurs-Sun top between showers is this super comfy HU lounge tank. Well, a couple years ago it got a hole in it, so, I went to the HU site and replaced it (and in hindsight, should’ve bought like five of them). Fast forward to now, there are like, five dime sized holes in my current replacement tank, and I was spiraling (because that’s all I’ve been doing lately 🙃) because I can’t really sew, and I can’t just BUY a new shirt that’s a totally different texture (because I did that for my Tues-Thurs pj shirt and it’s been a year and I STILL don’t like the new one, too thick) so I googled how to sew and it was not going well, so I posted on facebook whining about the neurodivergent routines and clothing rotations I have, honestly just hoping someone would offer to fix my shirt for me 😅 (side note: I did try to find the actual shirt, first on poshmark with no luck, then on HU with no luck, then I found it on a super sketchy site which was cool except it was super sketchy and the link wouldn’t even open on my husband’s phone when I sent it to him so, that was a no go 😞)

And, someone commented explaining they totally get it!! and had knowledge of sewing and was trying to ask me about the fabric, if I could patch it, etc., and I’m like, no, it’s pretty lightweight, I don’t have any other shirt that’s similar otherwise it would solve my problem ha, and while they’re trying to talk me through it I get hit by this random thought:

“Wait, what if I saved the original one?? I don’t like to throw things out! I always save stuff! I could use the original as scrap fabric for patches!!”

So I went digging through three boxes of old clothes in my closet, was about to admit defeat, then thought to check my pajama drawer, and, it was the second shirt from the top. SECOND FROM THE TOP. It’s just been hanging out in my pajama drawer for two/three years, I didn’t toss it even though it has a hole! 

And I was like, perfect! I can just cut up this one and then patch the other one and don’t have to worry about different textures! And then my brain took it one step further and went, wait a minute, the old shirt has ONE tiny little pea sized hole, the current shirt has five dime sized holes... why not mend the shirt that’s in better shape instead of cutting it up and trying to fix five fucking holes?!

So I threw it in the dryer with a dryer sheet (because it smelled like stale drawer) while I showered, and now I don’t even care about fixing it because it’s my SHIRT and it’s the proper day and it fits just right and is super lightweight and I will worry about mending it when the hole gets bigger (or when someone offers to do it for me 😅) 😂

So, yeah, that was a crazy/chaotic two hours of pure stress for no reason. And DAMN I hate my brain sometimes (like needing a pajama rotation!) but DAMN I love it sometimes (like saving a holey shirt!) and it was just a wild ride.

So here are the shirts, the original on the left (you can tell it was in a drawer cuz the fold lines while the one on the right was on a hanger 😂) and a picture of me being so damn proud of myself for essentially being a hoarder 😅

imagine with me, this probably biased version of the post canon story. i love narrative mirroring so youd have sasuke 'chase' naruto for several years as naruto crumbles under the weight of konohas newfound expectations in their now golden boy. naruto feeling the same inescapable sense of duty sasuke did (though of course the context is completely different, sasukes sense duty came from grief came from love. narutos came from lack of love). sasuke seeing naruto slowly fall apart and feeling desperate to prevent this. because they both just want the other to be happy, thats what their love all about. naruto isnt stupid, as much as people love to say he is. he feels something isnt right as hes preparing to be hokage, seeing people that used to curse him in the streets look at him with stars in their eyes now. hearing left and right what these people think is 'best for him' as narutos insides twist and turn. but he yelled about being hokage all his life, and he DOES want change in konoha, he cant just give up because he feels trapped right? and thats where sasuke comes in. this 'chase' would of course be different - sasuke isnt literally running around trying to find naruto. instead its about reaching naruto before he burns himself out for a village full of hypocrites, that are ready to throw their hero away as soon as he steps out of line and doesnt act the way hes 'supposed to'.
