Hi everyone! I’ve so enjoyed doing my 2020 quarantine challenge and getting to know so many of you (and discovering your amazing blogs) that i’ve decided to create this new SUMMER STUDYING CHALLENGE! i did consider continuing my other challenge but my school year has now ended and the way i study in the summer and my priorities is very different compared to during school time - which i’m sure is the same for may of you! I’ve created this challenge to try and keep myself motivated during the summer (because i am ridiculously busy XD) but i also want to use this time to get to know many more of you and stay motivated together  💕 

(also i know that many people struggle for ideas of what to post during the summer so hopefully these will give you some ideas.

This challenge will run from Monday 13th July 2020 to Sunday 6th September 2020, which is two months.  However, please feel free to join in and start any time if you come across this challenge after the 13th July because i want this challenge to be accessible for everyone! 

I have daily prompts for each of this entire time. You don’t have to post every day (you could, for example, cover all the prompts in one post at the end of the week) and you also don’t have to post for the entirety of the challenge (for example if your summer break ends before the 6th September). But i will be posting every day for the whole time and want to interact with as many of you as possible!!!

I want to see what you are posting so please use the tag #summer studying challenge and I’ll track this tag and reblog as much as possible!

Reasons for my url: So back in 2015 I was finishing my sophomere year in high school so I was “halfway-to-uni” so my creative mind just thought of “halways-in-uni” because I’m in my third year (out of 5) of college now :)

Week 2 - Pictures

Tue 28/04 - Take a picture of a book you are currently reading

I started HP and the Deathly Hallows in December and I’m in page 544 but to be honest the last time I read it was in February because then classes started in March and I wasn’t able to keep on reading because I have so many other things to read. 

For uni this year I’ve read Macbeth and Twelfth Night from Shakespeare so far. 

Also yes, that’s my Harry Potter shelf.

Mon 22/06 - What is your native language?

Week 10 - Languages

Tue 23/06 - Do you speak any other languages? Are you currently learnign any?

Apart from spanish I only speak english and from time to time I try to learn a little bit of German or Italian but then I don’t go back to it for months and have to start all over again.

Wed 24/06 - If you could become fluent in one language overnight, what language would you like it to be?

Probably German cause it’s hard and then I could surprise my grandfather whose father used to be german. Maybe Chinese cause that would be before useful and maybe some Middle Eastern language. Idk I think languages are beautiful.

Ps: that’s my little notebook where I put all my favourite quotes and thoughts about to books that I read.

Week 6 - Pictures

Wed 27/05 - Take a picture of your bookshelf

Couldn’t take way with the 3 shelves so instead I took 3 pictures. There’s my Harry Potter shelf, my pastel colour shelf and the rest of the books I couldn’t feet in the other two. I also organize all the books from the same author together.

Deathly Hallows is not on the picture cause it’s on my bedside table and I also have The Book Thief, Jane Eyre, Frankenstein and Anne of Green Gables on another shelf that’s on top of my desk.

Sat 2/05- Take a picture of a meal you’ve cooked or something you’ve baked

I haven’t baked anything in a while and I couldn’t find any pictures but I’m frying my brain studying for my Shakespeare Midterm on Tuesday so I guess that counts.

I’ve been inactive for so long and I’m so sorry :(

On the good side there’s a lot to tell you! But first I’ll shortly explain my absence. I stopped having classes in October last year cause my country has been fighting for social justice since then and it was impossible to have classes anymore. (We we’re supposed to end them in November and then I had holidays from December to March) I started my 5th semester this month, had 1 week of class and now I have them online thanks to COVID-19.

The past year’s been crazy and I don’t know what will happen now but trying to see the good side of things I’m spending lots of time with my dog and I’m trying to learn lettering (as you can see from the picture) reading Macbeth and enjoying what I can enjoy.

Glad to be back! xx
