Brooo I’ve been meaning to watch TLOU for so long but I have severe trust issues after the shitshow that was season 8 of game of thrones. Wandavision and HOTD were the only shows that have stuck since 2019. I gave in and started watching TLOU yesterday and binged three episodes in a row. I’m on episode 7 now and needless to say I’m very obsessed with Joel Miller (he kinda reminds me of ghost in some ways 👀).
you know what I love about joel is that he is kinda selfish and human, putting ellie above all else, and i think we will see some more of that from ghost :)
like ghost doesn't give a fuck about anyone else but his loved ones lol
hotd was good!

Can I know more about WandaVision AU Logyn?
Loki and Sigyn are newlyweds, who move to the sleepy little town of Westview to start their new lives together. Everyone in the neighborhood thinks they're a perfect couple, and none of them suspect in the least that they're actually gods in disguise. Sigyn makes house and wants kids, and Loki's job pits him against his harsh boss, Mr. Wednesday, and his rival coworker Donald Blake. Their next-door neighbor Jane Foster has been going steady with Donald for years, but hasn't gotten him to pop the question yet and is hoping that watching Loki and Sigyn's marriage will encourage him to do so. Sigyn tries to help by setting up a romantic dinner between Jane and Donald at her house, but when Loki steps in, things get a bit wild!
Donald's bleeding Loki Thor is bleeding Loki he's your brother no he's not yes he is and look what you've done Loki what did you do Sigyn help Sigyn help Sigyn what's going on Sigyn where are you what did you do
Loki and Sigyn are expecting! Loki is running all over town trying to appease his wife's sudden mood swings and cravings, and her magic is going haywire because of all the hormones. Loki tries to set up the nursery by hand because his friend Fandral Flynn is coming over to help. Flynn almost catches the two of them using magic several times, but eventually the nursery is set up just in time for Sigyn to go into labor!
They're twins no they're not it's two boys its a boy and a girl it's his first kid it's his fifth and sixth kid wait where are Fenris and Jörmungandr and Hela wait those aren't my children and what about Sleipnir oh Sleipnir I failed him Sigyn no you didn't he was old stop it stop it MAKE IT STOP
Now that Nari and Váli are off at school, Sigyn decides that she doesn't want to sit around the house all day-- after all, she's a modern woman! She wears pants and everything! She goes back, part-time, to her career as a doctor nurse, which was what she did before she got married. While she's adjusting to being a working woman again, Loki finds himself playing Mr. Mom to the twins they're not twins yes they are who are having problems of their own. Nari's a hurricane, leaving a mess everywhere in his wake and managed to get blue paint all over himself and everything he's touched. Meanwhile, Váli is dealing with her mean teacher who is making the class write a ten page report on an assigned animal and Váli has to find out everything she can about wolves before tomorrow. Can Loki cope with all of this and have dinner ready by the time Sigyn gets home?
He's blue why is my son blue Loki what did you do it's not my fault it is it isn't you knew what I was when you picked me up Sigyn is Váli okay why is she crying over wolves why is she scratching at her head what happened to her teeth it's fine it's okay we can deal we can fix this we're together we can fix it please help me fix it
Outside of Westview, Darcy confers with Lady Sif and Brunnhilde. "Jane's stuck in there," Darcy said. "Jane and Thor and everyone, we have to get them out." "These magics are stronger than any we have faced," Lady Sif said. "I have not seen their like since Hela," Brunnhilde said. "There has to be something!" Darcy said.
Halloween in Westview is made even more special because Loki's brother Thor no it's Donald no it's Thor no he's not my brother yes he is or is Odin no Mr. Wednesday no Wotan no Odin has decided to come by for a visit! They pull out their old Asgardian armor for costumes wait since when did you wear fur and is this breastplate and skirt all I'm wearing and I remember black and gold and a hammer no an axe no a sword
Sigyn's had enough of the questions. When Loki warns the kids not to go out past Ellis Avenue, Sigyn goes there herself. There's something beyond the town, something she can't see, but she can feel. She touches the barrier that keeps her from leaving.
She hears Loki's voice.
He's screaming.
She turns around and an old man in Loki's costume stands behind her. She remembers a void, except she doesn't because it hasn't happened yet. Or it never happened, or will never happen. She reaches for a ring on a chain around her neck that isn't there.
"He can't save you," the old man said. "The God of Stories is dead. The God of Outcasts and Mischief and Chaos never came back. All you are left with is the God of Evil."
Thank you for the ask!

Supreme Super family gets sucked up into WandaVision(let's imagine Tony's alive in this or is from the multiverse). Ironstrange think they're married with a high school kid. Tony is a science teacher, strange is town doctor, and peter is a regular kid. No memories of they're real life. Rhody, Pepper, and Aunt May and Morgan could be added to this too if you wanted.
OHHO! Sorry it took me so long to reply to this; I had to finish the show, for one thing, and then my brain started going all sorts of places with the prompt... and well. I have on heck of a ramble coming, so buckle up!
(Also, spoilers through the series, so watch out!)
— — —
It starts with a question on Vision’s job application.
That’s all. So simple, so innocuous, so innocent. Vision is casually recording information that he doesn’t yet realize he can’t remember, and he arrives at a line that asks his family history. It’s nothing complex, left on the application only because Wanda’s subconscious had glossed over the question. So does Vision’s, as a result. But he wants this job. They want to fit in, and so they answer the question truthfully.
Vision writes ‘Stark’, unaware. ‘Tony Stark.’
And pop. Just like that.
On the edge of Westview, there suddenly is and has always been a small, well-kept mechanic’s shop. It’s run by an aging man with a bright mind and a brighter smile. He’s lived here since he came back from the war, but no one knows for how long. And he has no memory—no memory at all—of what came before.
Of the round scar in the center of his chest.
He doesn’t need to know. No one needs to know; he’s just a side character, after all. Just the answer to a line on a job application.
Just so that something, anything, about Vision’s life here isn’t a lie.
-
Yeah, so Tony gets manifested within the Hex—but because he’s one of Wanda’s creations and not someone being mind-controlled, he is able to exist with agency within Westview. He has no reason, however, to believe anything is amiss; he’s been resurrected only to play a character, and his memories and surface-level motivations only extend to the limits of that character.
But Wanda has other regret. Wanda has other anger and understanding and forgiveness and gratefulness, and she knew Tony Stark, once.
She knew his worst nightmare—and it’s easy to craft a soul from that, really.
(But it’s fine, of course it’s fine. Tony has no reason to pull down the walls of that hidden spirit. He’s content in his role, just like Vision. So it’s fine.
… Right?)
-
Agatha stands at the base of a towering barrier with her hands on her hips. One side of her mouth is quirked up into a considering, scheming smile, and her magic probes out around her curiously. This is the source of the power she’d felt; she’s sure of it. The spell work… the instinctual, unconscious spell work is so intense she can almost taste it.
How is it possible? What’s the secret?
Agatha must know. And besides; this is the most interesting thing that’s happened to her since the seventeenth century.
She’s about to reach out, about to cross into the heart of the magic, when she hears it. A footstep. Quiet and dark and making no attempt at stealth.
Agatha grips her magic. “Who’s there?” she demands.
Someone steps out of the trees. A human, Agatha thinks, though you can never be sure nowadays. He wears a hood of green and his hands are dark where they hang at his sides.
“Witch,” the figure declares.
Agatha raises an eyebrow. “Can I help you?”
“Yes,” says Karl Mordo. “I rather think you can.”
-
Okay, cut to New York. Stephen Strange is exhausted, wrung dry trying to keep the edges of the universe from deteriorating now that the stabilization factors of the Infinity Stones have been destroyed. One task runs into the next, one morning into the night. One future into all the others.
But Stephen likes the work; it keeps his mind in one place. He’s always alert these days. Always listening.
So when someone calls out to him from New Jersey, he can hear.
It’s Mordo luring him in, of course, but he doesn’t know that yet. After Dormammu, and certainly after all those futures, Stephen has too much experience for Mordo to hope to get the better of. The old Master is still dedicated to his ‘too many sorcerers’ shebangerang, though, so he’s employed help. Maybe he can kill two birds with one stone. Two world-threateningly powerful magic users with one stone.
Stephen follows the call, because of course he does. It sounds like a call for help; what else is he supposed to do? The kelpie situation in the Thames can wait. Wong waves him off, tells him to be careful without much hope of Stephen listening, and takes over the Sanctum for the few hours Stephen intends to be gone.
(It’s not for a few hours.)
-
But there’s someone else we should mention before we see what Westview has planned for Stephen. See, a certain spider-kid has just had his identity outed, and his only allies once called themselves Nick Fury and Maria Hill.
Nick Fury and Maria Hill, Peter discovers, are not Nick Fury and Maria Hill.
“You’re aliens?” Peter demands, his hands warding the space in front of him.
Of course they’re aliens, part of him sighs. Of course. Why wouldn’t one more thing just go crazy in his life? Why let him remember what ‘normal’ even felt like? Why the hell not?
“Er, yes,” says not-Fury. “My name is Talos. But we do still want to help you.”
Helping Peter doesn’t go according to plan. See, the Skrull try to approach SWORD for Monica Rambaeu’s help regarding the kid who saved their lives, but Monica has disappeared.
Talos only turns around for two seconds. Really, it’s only a moment. But when he turns back, Peter Parker has disappeared, too.
-
“Woah.”
Stephen stops, a hand coming up to shield his third eye as he squints into the absolute maelstrom of power swirling in a hexagonal wall in front of him. It doesn’t feel like the Order’s magic—not like something of the Mystic Arts. It’s something far more human and gritty. Stephen’s perception can’t extend through it. He frowns.
He takes a step forward, the Cloak swirling around his ankles, and begins to stitch his mental walls into place. His wards are strong, even unconsciously.
That’s probably what saves him, in all honesty.
Two strong, human hands plant themselves in the small of Stephen’s back and shove him into the barrier. Stephen opens his mouth to yell, raises his hands to cast a spell— but blue and red are surrounding him now. Devouring him, now. They lick at his mind, slamming against unbreakable walls.
But they are unbreakable too.
Stephen disappears.
-
(Mordo used a portal to get behind him and knock him into the Hex, btw.)
It’s those hasty mental walls that keep Stephen from being completely consumed into the Westview spells. He is not fully mind-controlled, nor is he left half-animated and frozen like most people near Ellis Avenue. But there is one main rule of Wanda Maximoff’s Westview, and that, Stephen can’t escape completely.
‘No one remembers outside.’
Stephen doesn’t. In fact, he doesn’t remember anything at all.
-
Tony Stark finds the man lying on the side of the road. He’s just finished dropping his kid Peter off at the Westview high school (it hasn’t occurred to him that it’s weird how he never sees the boy’s classmates. Or that Peter never seems to have stories from school. Or that the kid is always waiting in the exact same place that Tony dropped him off at whenever Tony comes to pick him up. Tony has no reason to think too hard; he’s just a side character—right?).
“Uh, hi?” Tony pauses, the car puffing it’s irritation when he stops it too quickly. He cranks down the window and leans out.
The man blinks, slowly, at the sky. He sits up hesitantly, like he hasn’t noticed Tony, and rubs his hand across his face. He pulls it away after a moment and frowns at it. Tony wonders why he looks so confused—it’s not like there’s anything wrong with the man’s hand. No scars or anything.
“Hi, sir,” Tony says again. “Are you alright?”
The man jumps. He looks over at Tony—and there’s something weird about his eyes. Something… really weird. (Color, says a voice in the back of his mind that he hasn’t heard for a very, very long time. That’s color.)
“Who are you?” Tony asks. He parks the car completely now.
The man looks down at his hands again. “I’m—” he begins. He’s frowning again.
“Come on now,” Tony encourages. “How hard can it be?”
The man tugs at the scarf around his neck—and it must be windier than Tony thought, because the edges of it are swaying as if of their own accord— and swallows.
“I don’t know,” he says.
-
So of course Tony brings Stephen back with him. He prods at the man until Stephen manages to blurt out ‘Doctor Stephen Strange’ for no reason either of them can remember. But it makes Stephen relax, a little, to have it on his tongue.
Tony catches Stephen staring at him after that. A lot. When he asks him why, Stephen has no clear answer; just a vague “you remind me of someone.” For Stephen’s part, all he knows is that seeing Tony gives him an indistinct sense of relief. Like he’d been missing someone deeply, and has now found it again.
Still. He can’t quite put his finger on it. Just like he can’t quite put his finger on why his hands don’t hurt when he tries to write…
-
Vision visits Tony, sometimes, whenever he remembers, or whenever someone in the town mentions the old mechanic. He brings Wanda. They have fun, but Vision always goes home feeling slightly baffled. And Tony always feels like something hurts, deep in the center of his chest.
Vision likes his adopted younger brother. (And Peter gets along just fine with the twins, too, when they come along, so Wanda doesn’t change anything about it). But when the man with the bright eyes stares at him with just a bit too much calculation on his face, Vision starts to be reminded of… things. Of suspicions. Of Geraldine and how she had no home and no history. And he doesn’t quite look Wanda in the eye that dinner.
“What do you do?” Wanda asks, her voice a little hard, a little suspicious. Vision tries not to wince. Whatever it is she’s not telling him, this man at his father’s dinner table reminds her of it.
Tony flips his fork, balancing it like one might a wrench. “Stephen’s a doctor,” he says.
Wanda’s face flickers. “That’s funny,” she says blankly. “Because no one in this town ever needs one.”
-
For a while, Tony Stark didn’t see anything amiss here. He was created, was consistent, was emptily and vaguely pleased. But Tony Stark is Tony Stark, whatever character he’s been told to play. Tony Stark wants to help people.
And this man, this strange doctor with the eyes that would sometimes go blank for long minutes and the tears that would stain sharp cheeks for a reason he claimed not to remember, needs help.
So Tony Stark begins to scratch at Wanda’s walls.
-
“What do you mean he’s here?”
“I mean your little plan didn’t work,” Agatha says. She stands on the edge of Westview, speaking through a mirror of magic to the man outside. She’s liking this sorcerer less and less the more she works with him—but he has been rather helpful so far, so she continues to put up with him.
“Does he remember?”
“No,” Agatha says. “The dad that Wanda made up for Vision has taken him in. It’s kind of adorable, actually.”
“Hm.” Mordo’s mouth twists. “You’ll finish the job?”
Agatha shrugs nonchalantly. “Sure. When I get around to it.”
“You don’t want to wait. Deal with Strange now, before he remembers how to be a threat.”
Agatha laughs. It’s brittle, fully conveying her hostility. “Ha, my good sorcerer, listen. Unless you want to come in here and do the job yourself, you’ll let me handle this my way.”
Agatha’s way involves getting to the bottom of things, of course. And that’s rather convenient… because Vision has begun to try to do the same thing.
— — — —
Okay that’s all I have for now? The other bits are still solidifying in my mind, and it’s basically all Horrible Angst. I hope this scratches a little of the itch of your ask, though! Feel free, anyone, to add onto this if you’d like! I really enjoyed the show, and I think it has some really awesome AU potential.
Thanks for the ask!!!

Thoughts on WandaVision as I’m watching...
BEWARE OF SPOILERS, if you haven’t seen it yet, don’t read any of this, ok?
First episode: Paul and Elizabeth have such good comedy timing together, and lots of chemistry. I wish we could’ve seen so much more of them in the Avengers movies but I’m also glad we got the series.
Wanda and Vision being confused on what they’re doing, where they come from, when’s their anniversary makes you wonder in a magnificent way without giving right away the answers and that’s nice. It makes you think: was this Wanda? Was it someone else?
Wanda’s comment about Vision’s indestructible head and me chuckling at the moment she said it because ARE YOU SURE, HONEY?
It hurts a lil bit, let’s keep watching.
Second episode: Wanda telling Vision how this is their home now and she wants to fit in. Well shit.
It’s the second time I see ads, in the first episode it was a Stark Industries toaster. Now, it’s a Hydra watch... huh.
Everything being black and white except for the toy helicopter (red and yellow) and the blood stain (red) in Dottie’s hand.
Geraldine knowing her name when she shook Wanda’s hand.
Shit, so many questions so far and I haven’t finished watching the episode yet.
OK, OK, HOLD ON. I WAS STARTING TO FEEL THAT “FOR THE CHILDREN” WAS GOING TO BE IMPORTANT BECAUSE REPETITION AND THEN WANDA APPEARS PREGNANT. THE FUCK IS HAPPENING HERE.
Tumblr media
Who in hell is that beekeeper and why everything just rewinded and turned back into color after he appeared? AAAAAA.
The voice asking Wanda who’s doing this to her, shit.
Third episode: Let’s carry on, I need answers.
Not only the intro changed but also they changed decades. Everyone’s hair is styled differently, the clothing is and that song: “All great expectations lead to complications”... you’re gonna screw everyone over, ain’t ya?
“I can’t wait to be a proud papa-ya...” oh Vision.
Tumblr media
Wanda losing control over her powers because of the pregnancy, oh well darling, here we go...
Now Wanda wondering if their neighbors can tell who they really are and Vision starts to doubt it as well and it gets rewinded... darling, this is staged for sure. Everytime THEY are the ones about to figure it out something happens.
And Hydra has a soap commercial, why am I not surprised? They’re like roaches, get underneath everything.
The doctor’s comment about small towns being hard to escape says it all by itself.
WANDA HAVING TWINS AND REMEMBERING PIETRO. MY HEART HURTS.
Geraldine knowing Pietro was killed by Ultron, now that’s interesting. Her being new in town, having no home, having the symbol of whoever’s watching on Wanda and Vision. Inte-fucking-resting. Then her having to rush home aka being thrown out of the simulation.
Fourth episode: It starts off with the people coming back to life from the snap... shit, shiT, SHIT.
Oh so it was S.W.O.R.D watching over Wanda all along.
FUUUUCK, I JUST REMEMBERED CAPTAIN MARVEL WAS A THING AND MARIA RAMBEAU WAS CAROL’S FRIEND AND HER BABY GIRL WAS MONICA. OMB. AAAAA how I love it when everything starts to tie up.
Darcy Lewis, YAAAS.
S.W.O.R.D, the FBI and special forces from all corners investigating upon this little unexistent town that Wanda Maximoff created in order to overcome her grief from having lost everyone she loved. Yaay, we love us Marvel destroying us emotionally. Thank you. Fifth episode: “She’s gone, she didn’t belong here” HOLD ON, YOU HAD PREVIOUSLY SAID SHE HAD TO RUSH HOME.
Wanda not being able to control her babies with her powers is kinda weird. Need to know more about that.
Agnes breaking character and asking Wanda if they should start from the top definitely asks for suspicion. Vision being able to tell immediately this is weird it’s the weirdest of all because Vision is supposed to be dead, and Wanda remembered he was dead last episode, so how is HE able to tell this is all made up?
THE TWINS ALL GROWN UP ARE SUCH CUTIES.
Wanda stealing Vision’s body is not the question in here, the question is why did S.W.O.R.D have it of all people? Was that in the Sokovian accords, if Vision died his body went to them? That’s not normal, especially not because Tony came back, he would’ve taken care of Vision and not in that way.
OK, NOW I THINK I KNOW WHAT THE ADS MEAN. The toaster of Stark Industries was because a Stark missile burnt down Wanda’s home. The watch of Hydra was because for a great amount of time, Hydra controlled her a Pietro. The Lagos add of the paper towels speaks of how there is a mess and you need something to clean it up. Lagos was the place where Wanda accidentally killed people while she tried to stop Rumlow. SHIT, SHIT. All of the ads are past events of her life.
“You can fix anything, mom. Fix the dead.” BOY, ARE YOU SURE YOU WANNA GO THERE?
Now, Wanda can control everyone but her sons and Vision... that’s something definitely of interest.
MY BOY EVAN SHOWING UP. AAAA. I’ve been waiting for this moment ever since they got back the X-Men, my heart. My heart is happy.
Now, since Wanda is definitely warping reality, I do think this is the start of the multiverse. This is definitely Pietro. Not a recasting, this was her not fully controlling her powers and creating this.
Sixth episode: To start off, Vision is not actually Vision, or if he is, he can’t remember a thing. Probably that has something to do with Wanda bringing him back to life but she even erased the Avengers from his memory. She got rid of everything.
Pietro being completely aware of his role in this reality and why she called him, and then Wanda remembering he is also dead. Now I’m confused because I do think he has something to do with breaching realities but I’m not sure. lol
The people standing near Ellis Avenue being frozen and them being out of reach of Wanda’s circle making them stop all they’re doing. That’s insane.
Now, the twins having Pietro’s and Wanda’s powers. Billy being fully connected to Vision knowing he needs help. Then Wanda stopping time and being able to extend her reality in order to save Vision. This was not only visually incredible but hell, the display of Wanda’s powers grow more and more each day. This is gonna be insane.

It was you all along (Agatha HarknessxFemale reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: This is a sweet self-insert love story between Agatha and a Westview citizen. Everything that happens follows the original events of "Wandavision" and MCU, like a parallel.
Chapter: 05/10
Word count: 1.450k
The phone rang and I was pretty sure who it would be before I even picked it up.
"So, when you say early, you really mean it, don’t you?", I said, with my eyes still closed.
"Well, I assumed you’d be up already", Agnes replied and I knew she was smiling just by the tone in her voice.
"You don’t know me at all", I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling. "So, what's up?"
"I also assume you don’t have any plans for today, so I’m inviting you to some trick or treating."
I got the calendar right next to my bed. October 31st.
"Oh, I see. Agnes, dear. I’m so freakin tired these days."
"Well, I think you need to live a little", I heard a door closing on her side of the line.
"I don’t even have a costume, and I’m not sure if there’s time to buy one..."
"Well, then he’s late."
"Who's late?", I asked when my doorbell rang. "Agnes, who’s at my door?"
She giggled.
"See you at eight. Don’t you dare keep me waiting."
Dennis, the mailman, was right at my doorstep.
"Do you guys always work that early?", I yawned while signing the paper he gave me.
"Well, don’t shoot me!", he raised his hands - "I’m just…"
"The messenger. Yeah, I’m familiar with that quote."
He handed me a package before running back to the van.
It was a big silver box with a purple bow on it. I opened it and found the most beautiful dress inside. It was all white, and I could see some tiny crystals attached to it. When I turned it in front of the light, they twinkled in so many different ways. It ended right above my knees, and I had the perfect heels for that. When I was about to go upstairs and try it on, I realized that there was one more thing inside the box.
Wings. Translucent and… magical. So it was a fairy costume. I took them out and boy, they were big. That’s why the box was almost double the dress size. How on earth had Agnes found that on such short notice? Or maybe… she kept that for a while? And was waiting to give it to me?
Just like that the fatigue was gone.
It took me hours to get ready, but it totally paid off. My hair was all curly and I had some glitter in my eyes. My makeup was all white and silver, except for my red lips. I was deciding either to take a purse or not when someone honked in front of my house. The wings were already attached to my dress (which took me forever to do it on my own), and they kinda flapped around me in a lovely way.
Agnes was inside her car, in a full witch costume, with a hat and a wig. Her mouth dropped a little bit when she saw me.
"You look amazing!!", she said, while I closed the door behind me.
"You too", I said, opening the car’s door. I struggled a little bit to get inside with those wings, but I refused to take them off. "So, do you really think people are gonna give us candy? I mean, I don’t think we’re young enough for this."
She grabbed a bag full of sweets from inside the glove compartment and gave it to me.
"I’ve got the treats!", she started the car.
"Which takes us to the tricking", I replied, biting a tiny piece of chocolate. "So, where you’re taking me?"
"I thought that maybe we could escape this town for a while. What do you think?"
She actually waited for me to answer.
"Drive!",  I said, getting my seatbelt on. She did.
I couldn’t help looking at her while she drove. The way she’d look at one side and then to another, before going through the next street corner, squinting her eyes and biting her lower lip…
"So, how long do you live here?", she asked me, still looking ahead.
"Well, since I can remember", I replied, looking at her.
"No family, then?"
"No one close...", I said, sighing.
"Don’t you have any friends? Anyone?"
"I’ve been alone for a very long time", I suddenly felt really sad.  And I had no idea of why my eyes were tearing up.
"You’re a lovely girl", she looked at me while saying that. "I’m pretty sure you could make lots of friends if you try."
"I don’t feel like trying."
She stopped the car right after we passed through Ellis Avenue.
"Why did we stop?", I looked around, but there was nothing to see. The lights were out in every single house.
"Why did you keep looking for me from your window?", she said, turning her whole body to look at me.
She was, again, expecting an answer. But I didn’t have one.
"I wanted to be friends with you", I said, my eyes unable to reach hers.
"But why? You don’t even know me."
She seemed to be accusing me of something.
"What are you trying to say?", I took my seatbelt off, so I could also turn to face her. My patience was all gone. "Tell me what’s wrong! One minute you treat me just fine, and then…"
Agnes gently touched my face. I stopped talking.
"What makes you so different?", she whispered, more to herself than for me.
She moved her hand from my cheek to the back of my neck. I shivered with her touch and closed my eyes for a second. Enough time for her to let me go.
"I need to... think!", she said, getting out of her car. Something between screaming and shushing. "Please, stay inside. Ok? Stay in. I’ll be right back."
Agnes took off her witch hat and tossed it on the ground. She seemed mad and confused. Nothing about her even resembled that lovely neighbor I once knew.
I opened the door and stepped out. No way in hell I'd watch her freak out like that and do nothing. I was on my way to her when something else got my attention. It was like a glitch right in the middle of the sky. I looked again, to be sure. Without even realizing it, I kept walking towards that strange thing that reminded me of a TV with a bad signal. The closer I got, the more I could see. The details were… so weird. Like a bubble. But with some kind of energy around it. It made me wanna touch it, so I lifted one of my fingers and, feeling kinda foolish, pressed against whatever it was. I felt a little shock, but it didn't hurt.
What if I tried to cross it?
"DON’T MOVE!"
My whole body went cold. I tried to turn my head but I couldn’t move a muscle. My finger still in the air, my eyes locked on that energy field right in front of me. If I could speak, I’d have shouted. But my voice was trapped inside my throat.
Her hands burned my waist when she touched me from behind. I knew it was Agnes because there was no one else in there.
"Trust me", she whispered again, right into my ears.
She held me tighter while my body just collapsed on top of hers. We both fell to the ground. My voice was back, but I was speechless. She pulled me away from where we fell, just trying to get me as far as she could from the glitch. Then we heard it before it actually happened. A blast. The barrier got bigger, swallowing houses, cars, and people. Agnes held me, and I kept my head down on her shoulder, with my eyes closed. There was so much wind, I could feel her hair whipping my body while she kept both of her arms around me. Protecting me from whatever was happening. It ended as suddenly as it started. We stood there for a few more seconds before she made me look at her. I didn’t want to.
"Hey. HEY!", she insisted when I tried to look away. "We need to get out of here."
She got up, taking me with her to the car. I had glitter all over my face, and her hair was all tangled.
"You don’t need to be afraid", she said when we got inside. "I’m not gonna hurt you."
"Agnes… ", I tried to tell her that I wasn’t afraid, but I simply asked, "Where are you taking me?"
"It's time to set you free", she replied, speeding up.
That made no sense to me, but I buckled up.

WandaVision Episode 6: Reaction
These were my thoughts while watching the sixth episode of WandaVision for the first time. I never watch trailers as to not get spoilers, so the only knowledge I have are the previous episodes and my own speculations.
This will be purely spoilers and questions that no one will answer, the only thing you will learn with this is that I love the twins and the sword trio very much, and that I don't trust Hayward and not-Pietro at all
• So they want us to know this isn't og Pietro
• So now Wanda is using her red glowy powers, not her smoky sitcom ones
• Vis doesn't seem so happy in this opening
• What the hell is Agnes doing in your fridge
• Distorted day huh
• Pietro is in the opening!
• Tommy is getting a lot of attention....
• We're talking to the cam now? The camera is following people now?
• Okay, yeah, this is definitely a different style of sitcom
• Also, let me scream about them playing ddr
• AAHFFZGZJXKKBDGK
• thank you
• Now, let me scream about Billy wearing his wiccan costume
• KFHFPUFOHDHLDLGSLSOGAGAODOHCPHFHPAOAGPHDPHCOHAOHDOHXOGAOGSOH
• Thx
• But, pretend to be someone else and scare people huh.....
• DORKASAURUS REX
• I'm in love with their dynamic already
• Hi Not-Pietro!
• Of course Tommy idolizes not-Pietro
• So Billy is afraid of Peter huh?
• Is vampire a nod to something in the comics? I'll find a way to link this to Mephisto, just give a couple of hours to do some research
• WANDA YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL MARRY ME
• Sokovian fortune teller huh... Like using flowers to TELL THE FUTURE
• Sokovian Halloween does not look fun
• "that's not how I remember it" no shit Sherlock, this brother is from the wrong timeline
• You bet she suppressed a lot of the trauma
• Boys, I love you both SO MUCH!! Tell me more about how your mom has been acting weird
• Oh hoho, the girls are fighting!
• I see your passive aggressiveness Vis, AND I LOVE IT
• "Be good" oof
• Okay, but does that mean that Tommy used his super speed or that he was just pulled along
• AND LOOK AT THEIR COSTUMES!! THE HAIR!!! THE EVERYTHING!!!!
• Oh right, back to the real world
• YOU TELL HIM MONICA
• Why are you saying "super-powered individuals" like a slur mister
• THE NERVE ON THIS MAN
• SOMEONE PUNCH HIM PLEASE
• HE CAN'T DO THAT!!!!
• Fuck, I'm so mad right now
• They are not the ones I wanted to punch BUT IT'S STILL SATISFYING
• I'm sorry I can't get over their costumes I'm 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
• Holy fuck, that's a lot of kids... Where did they even come from????
• Oooh, Wanda is doing the classic shapeshifter test
• Also, new fact about Wanda's pre-Hydra life!!
• I see your deflection, NOT-PIETRO
• Well, at least this proves it wasn't Wanda who pulled him out of the Fox-verse
• So... They're just using their powers in front of everyone now
• Vis' got secret business huh
• "you want something changed?" Very ominous Mr. Herb, sir
• So, things start to glich and freeze the further away we get from Wanda
• We haven't seen Agnes yet: not-Pietro took over her role in sweeping in to help Wanda
• THAT WAS THE CREEPIEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN WHAT THE FUCK
• I was going to say that the "being stuck somewhere without food" was probably her memories of being stuck under all the rubble with the bomb, but things got super creepy super fast. And then the shark tells me it's the snack for survivors? NO SIR NO MISTER
• I've always been scared of stop motion animation and this isn't helping me get over it
• The Incredibles and the parent trap screening? A super-powered dysfunctional family where one of the kids has super speed and the other has weird magic, and a movie where twins pretend to be each other? You're pretty on the nose with that one, Marvel
• Play his part, stir up trouble.... Hmmmmmmm
• Why are we circling back to the accents? Is that important?
• He heard Wanda calling him? So maybe it was an unconscious thing...
• TOMMY HAS SUPER SPEED I REPEAT TOMMY HAS SUPER SPEED!!!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL THIS IS NOT A DRILL THIS IS NOT A DRILL
• ELLIS AVENUE MUST BE THE BORDER OF WESTVIEW
• Oh, the twin's reactions to Tommy having to take Billy with him are the most sibling-like thing ever
• Is Agnes just playing a part or she's actually a victim?
• What will happen to Vision if he crosses the border?
• Spectrum origin story, hell yeah
• Be careful Darcy!
• How did Woo learn to hot wire cars?
• So now we're just... Acknowledging everything
• Peter is saying she did what she could to keep the townspeople happy but... They don't seem happy
• Not-Pietro over here asking the big questions
• Dead-Pietro still has Not-Pietro's face.....
• So Vision really is dead and can only exist inside Wanda's bubble reality
• Darcy is such a sweetheart... She tried to help even though she knew what was going to happen to her
• BILLY'S POWERS
• Holy fuck, Wanda just vibe checked her brother
• Why could Billy sense what's happening but not Wanda?
• Are we going to get a magical training montage next episode?
• WANDA IS MOVING THE BORDER
• Holy shit Wanda, a few meters would have sufficed
• Bastards! They're just leaving Darcy there!
• Uh, I hate mimes and clowns
• Let me see how Darcy is!
• Did Monica and Woo make it?
• I can't believe Hayward is going to escape, only to use this against Wanda
• What, that was the end???
• Well this sure was a journey

MY THOUGHTS ON THE NEW WANDAVISION EPISODE
Don’t click the cut if you don’t want spoilers, I won’t be shy with them, neither are they in chronological order. I’m not that good at theorizing but I’m just putting what I noticed out there.
PIETRO
Pietro is definitely not the Pietro we know. He is way too self aware, constantly refers to life outside of Westview, and as expected, has selective amnesia. Wanda directly asks about childhood memories of their own Halloweens, and he doesn’t answer correctly. Also, the line “you probably suppressed a lot of the trauma”. ohohoh. There is definitely something off, but he’s the couch surfer, good-with-kids, troublemaker uncle we expected, which I can excuse.
HOWEVER
“I’m just trying to do my part, okay? Come to town unexpectedly, create tension with the brother-in-law, stir up trouble with the rugrats, and ultimately give you grief. I mean, that’s what you wanted, isn’t it?” Also, “Next thing I know I heard you calling me” this is pretty disturbing. Who called him to Westview? Wanda says she did, but doesn’t know how she did it. Her reaction to him coming back just proves more she’s just a puppet to a higher power. Who?
“Why do you look different?” Wanda is not the one who recast Pietro.
“If I see any funny business I’m going to magic you into a pickled herring” Is Wanda referring to the “red herring” writing tool? Is Pietro just a distraction? It would make sense given her color scheme is all about red... Let’s see if I’m right. Other than that it’s a funny gag.
LITERALLY EVERYTHING PIETRO SAYS IS DISTURBING AND/OR SHOWS HIS AWARENESS OF THE SITUATION.
OTHER WESTVIEW RESIDENTS
Several other Westview residents seemingly become aware of the situation; Wanda’s control is slipping. Herb asks, “Is there something I can do for you? Do you want something changed?” possibly referring to the whole simulation, not the neighborhood watch rounds on Halloween.
Agnes is scared. She is DEFINITELY NOT Mephisto or the one controlling the simulation. Vision snapped her from Wanda’s control, nothing fell apart, she was terrified.
Speaking of Agnes: there is a parallel to 1x03 “Now In Colour” wherein Agnes hesitates before telling Vision he’s dead. “Because we’re all...” “Because we’re all what?” becomes a parallel to Vision saying “Because I’m what?”. All in all pretty disturbing, this could point to a theory in which all the Westview residents are either dead or blipped but didn’t come back. However I’m pointing for dead or just missing, because there was nothing mentioned about missing people after the blipped were brought back in other movies. Marvel is notoriously bad about handling the consequences of the blip though, so I’m not holding my breath.
“Huh... These people, near the edge of town...They're barely moving. Are they alive?” Jimmy inadvertently says the most horrifying things...
THE TWINS
One of the twins has super speed, the other, reality-bending powers and telepathy. “A chip off the old Maximoff block” indeed.
WANDA: And please just remember to-- BOTH: Don't go past Ellis Avenue. We know, Mom. We know. Ellis Avenue is the edge of town, and the theory that kids can’t be mind controlled is proven correct: Agnes’ comment about that is mirrored. Wanda has apparently told the twins repeatedly to not go past Ellis Avenue. She can’t mind control them so she does the next best thing, set believable, parental restrictions and boundaries, like any “normal” parent would do, but with a far different intent behind it. Yikes.
I read on another post that Westview is basically Wanda living out her parents’ perfect life: this seems really logical now that her twins display the exact same powers as her and Pietro.
S.W.O.R.D.
Hayward is a ✨d i c k✨
The stinky bastard is just as sus as we expected, he’s looking for the vibranium decay signature inside the anomaly to monitor Vision, assumingly to see how fast he’s dying. HE CAN SEE INSIDE WESTVIEW FOR GODSAKES.
Vision started decaying and being sucked back into Westview the instant he got out. He cannot exist outside the Maximoff anomaly.
Monica’s cells have been rewritten several times by the energy inside the anomaly: could this be a new super’s birth? A new Scarlet Witch?
That said, what kind of powers does she gain? The same kind used to keep the people in Westview “alive” (between quotes cause I’m not sure of my theory yet), so either the same powers as Wanda, or something involving immortality. Either way, holy shit I can’t wait.
Not only could Hayward see inside Westview, it was noted by SWORD people that a lot of people suddenly stopped moving. Wanda needs to focus on them moving to be able to control them: it gets a bit buggy and stops entirely later. Maybe it’s because she was focused on Pietro and the twins? The timeline between Wanda and Vision’s respective actions wouldn’t line up though.
S.W.O.R.D literally got ABSORBED by Wanda’s bubble expanding. What happens to Darcy?? She’s the only one of the trio who didn’t escape!!
THE AD
A recurring theme so far, this one is weirder than ever. No HYDRA or Stark symbolism this time, that’s probably been dropped with the advancing of the decades. The snack advertised is called “Yo-Magic: The snack for survivors.” Make of that what you will...
A TEMPORAL ANACHRONISM
Tumblr media
This might be nothing, but I still find it interesting. The sign of the movie theater in one of the scenes lists two movies playing: The Incredibles and The Parent Trap. The first movie won’t come out until 2004, but The Parent Trap came out in 1998, which makes the timeline of the episode very fuzzy. Additionally, the twins didn’t age themselves up, they had no reason to, but it’s still suspicious. Does this happen in the 90s or the early 2000s?? The episode is in the style of a 90s sitcom (turned psych horror) and the show isn’t supposed to hit the early 2000s until episode 7, unless Wanda’s decided to speed things up. But why?
THE SITCOM THEME
Yes, I am making an entirely new bullet just for this. It is so disturbing.
🎶Wanda, Wanda Vision 🎶
Don't try to fight the chaos
Don't question what you've done
The game can try to play us
Don't let it stop the fun
Some days it's all confusion
Easy come and easy go
But if it's all illusion
Sit back, enjoy the show
Let's keep it going
Let's keep it going
Through each distorted day
Let's keep it going
Though there may be no way of knowing
Who's coming by to play
Holy fuck, okay. Shit’s been dialed up to 11. Buckle up.

Scarecrow Thoughts - Wandavision Ep. 6
Beware of spoilers
-Title is “All-New Halloween Spooktacular!” So we’ve gotten to the Halloween episode. Was expecting it to be later in the series.
-Opening credits are an homage to those of Malcolm In The Middle. Interestingly Agnes and Pietro both are credited during this. Hmmmm...
-We get straight to the Halloween stuff and we get some solid personalities for the twins. Billy is the more thoughtful and tempered one, going into a diatribe about the spirituality of Halloween. Tommy is the snarky and abrasive one, thinking Halloween is just about candy. Nice touch, I wasn’t expecting much distinction between the two.
-Billy is speaking to the audience directly, so I guess they’re going wholesale on the Malcolm in the Middle vibe.
-Billy is dressed up in his Wiccan costume from the comics. Really didn’t expect that.
-Pietro is sleeping on the couch while the twins debate waking him up, unaware that he just did and pranks them a bit. So Quicksilver is in the role of the looser, fun uncle here. About what I would expect.
-Wanda hears the commotion and comes downstairs, dressed in her classic costume. The twins both get some depth with their responses. Billy guesses Old Red Riding Hood, showing some snark of his own. Tommy actually likes it, showing some sincerity and warmth but changes his opinion when Pietro claims it’s lame.
-Wanda claims the costume is supposed to be of a Sokovian fortune teller. Nice bit of backstory, don’t know if that’s the case in the comics. I don’t think it is.
-Pietro reminds Wanda of one Halloween as kids. Wanda remembers them getting a fish, much to their young selves revulsion. Funny scene but there is gunfire in the background so trauma rears it’s head again. Wanda claims she remembers the incident differently and Pietro notes she’s suppressed a lot of trauma.
-Billy comments that Wanda had been acting oddly since Pietro’s arrival but puts it down to her not seeing him for a long time. Uh Billy if your fully aware of what’s going on then get a message to a nice lady named Monica Rambeau, she’ll be able to help you and your family.
-Vision comes downstairs in his classic costume, which is simply great. We get an example of his and Pietro’s relationship which is mostly Pietro’s childishness clashing with his straightforward nature. Vision notes that Wanda hasn’t spoken about her brother much, which might be a big contributing factor to this whole mess. He also gives his opinion that Pietro is “great with kids”. Woah Vision did you just snark of your own volition? I know you got a dig in on Ultron but dang. You were built by Tony Snark after all.
-Vision reveals that the costume was all that was in his closet, with the implication that Wanda made so it was all that he could wear. It also seems that Wanda has a thing for Mexican wrestlers. I did not know that.
-Vision heads out on his own, much to Wanda’s confusion. He claims that it’s for neighborhood watch duties but Wanda is confused but it’s not what he’s supposed to do. Vision interrupts her and she stands down so he still has his awareness of things being wrong and Wanda can’t push too hard without more problems it would seem.
-Billy comments on Wanda and Vision’s recent issues but Pietro notices him speaking to the audience. Intriguing.
-The conflict gets settled with Pietro offering to step in for handling the boys tonight. He spooks Wanda with an in-show jump scare, which might hint at more sinister doings. Wanda comments he can’t for lack of a costume but he just zooms out with Tommy and both come back wearing their comic costumes. So good. Also this might be coincidental but Pietro’s hairstyle could also be devil horns. Regardless Wanda threatens to magic him into a pickled herring if he causes too much trouble.
-Outside of the Hex, we get to enjoy the “How do you screw up a bad situation for the worse show.” Hayward has officially broken through the ice and I... I really wish he hadn’t. So from now on I will be calling him Haywad for he is unfit to be addressed by his actual name.
-Monica calls Haywad out on his stunt with the drone while he tries brushing her off. Darcy snarks at how he got outdone last episode and he questions if Darcy works for SWORD. Actually a good question. She’s with Monica it would seem. Hayward gets his own moment snark by asking who’s the sassy best friend but good old Jimmy tells him off for trying to diminish the people who are actually handling the situation and know what their doing while also trying to start a fight with Wanda.
- “Maximoff was never going to negotiate with us.” I’ll admit she probably wasn’t going to but trying to blow her up before even offering her a chance is a bit too far Haywad.
-Haywad wants to take Wanda out as a quick and easy fix to things but Monica makes a point that they don’t know for certain that will happen or what else might happen if she dies while the Hex is up. A bit of a reach and I can see Haywad’s logic but I’ve heard worse rationales.
-Monica continues her defense by pointing out that they don’t have anywhere near the firepower to outstrip Wanda and winding her up is just escalating things worse. As Monica puts it Wanda is the problem and also the only workable solution they’ve got.
-Haywad is unflappable in his position, declaring Monica an impediment to the mission but he doesn’t stop there. He gets on her case for her defense of superpowered beings, even acknowledging her history with Carol. He goes on a rant about how the Snap devastated the world and how difficult choices needed to be made in light of what happened. The narrative almost paints him as a man pushed into a bad state of mind by how the world was ruined. And I call bullcrap.
-Monica’s response? “Don’t use the last five years as an excuse to be a coward.” Oh yes! I hate it when people try to use their dark past as an excuse to lash out and lower themselves to cruelty. I also love it when these people get called on their bullcorn and have how selfish they really are laid out. Tragedy befalls us all... and life goes on uncaring of our struggles.
-Heywad’s response is to belittle Monica by telling her it was a good thing she wasn’t here for her mother’s death because she doesn’t have the stomach for their work. Oh you son of a... those aren’t fighting words, that’s a full on declaration of war.  And he follows that up by ordering Monica, Darcy and Woo expelled from the area.
-Woo notes that Heywad is overstepping his authority with this stunt. Oh Jimmy you magnificent so and so I could slap you with a wet pancake! I knew Heywad was up to something that could give him trouble and you just made that clear for the audience. This isn’t just a SWORD mission this is a co-op between them and the FBI. And the dorkrector just tried to force their main agent on the ground off the assignment for no reason. Oh ho ho, Heywad just put himself in the line of fire and I can’t wait for someone to pull the trigger.
-Woo cold clocks the soldiers escorting them off base and Monica joins in, knocking them all out. “Why didn’t anyone tell me the plan?” Oh Darcy never stop being delightful. After stashing the soldiers and going with the old MCU standby of disguises that don’t really disguise you the trio gets back to work.
-Back in the Hex the family gets going on trick or treating with Wanda taking the chance to question Pietro about their past. He knows she’s trying to test him, admitting that he looks different from how she remembers. He guesses that it’s because Wanda doesn’t want to be reminded of the past in her little bubble of paradise. Is he aware of what’s going on or what?
-Pietro takes the kids off to get into some mischief while Wanda goes to speak with Herb. The brief sequence is hilarious but Herb reveals that Vision isn’t on duty for the watch. Then there’s a slightly disturbing scene where Herb asks if Wanda wants something changed. She declines but it’s clear something is going on.
-Vision is off by himself and sees a couple repeating the motions of setting up Halloween decorations. One of them sheds a single tear. Oh not that cheap trick for drama again. Also eerie....
-We get to the commercial for the episode and it’s one of those claymation snack commercials. Which ends with a kid starving to death and turning into a skeleton trying to open the snack. Uh... Okay then. Let’s just go back to the... just as ominous parts of the setting.
-Wanda makes the boys return the candy that Pietro helped them steal and is upset with how bad of an influence he’s being. Pietro notes he’s just playing his part, literally that is. He’s hitting all the boxes of the standard fun loving uncle in a sitcom. He says to Wanda that she wanted “to give you grief”. Okay hopefully Pietro’s presence is Wanda trying to work through the grieving process so she can figure out what’s going on and fix it.
-Wanda questions Pietro’s missing accent and he fires back about how she’s missing hers. He claims that the details of his return are fuzzy, the last thing he remembers being his death before Wanda called for him. This does not prove it is the MCU version of Quicksilver with a facelift okay. It could still be the Fox version with MCU Pietro’s memories zapped into his mind.
-The boys get excited about a candy score and Tommy literally zooms there and back with superspeed. He doesn’t even seem aware of it until Pietro points it out, at which point he does as children and has fun with his new powers. I just love how Wanda just catches him no problem while he’s zipping around, no powers needed. She lets the boys head off for some solo candy hunting but warns them not to go past Ellis Avenue. I know Ellis is the name of a comic worker I just can’t remember which one.
-We return to the SWORD base for another installment of “Keeping your idiotic boss from destroying the world.” It is sad that there are actually enough moments like this in the MCU to be a thing. The trio find a computer room and Monica discovers Pietro’s presence in the Hex. “He brought the wrong face” So funny! Monica doesn’t want to hang around too long, which is smart. Darcy hacks into the computer systems for the compound, which is extra smart. Seriously a degree in astrophysics and computer hacking skills, what have you been up to in the... decade since we last saw you?
-What does Darcy find? Well Haywad found a way to look through the boundary and didn’t tell anyone. I am so looking forward to his downfall. Turns out Vision is being tracked through the decay signature of vibranium, which I will admit is at least clever. The tracking method also shows the residents of Westview in Vision’s immediate vicinity. Good old Jimmy goes right into work mode, figuring that Haywad must have a near accurate head count and assessment of the residents wellbeing by now. He takes note of the denizens at the edge of the Hex barely moving and questions if they’re even alive.
-Cue Vision discovering a group of completely immobile residents. Wary of the whole situation Vision assumes his normal superhero look and takes flight, discovering that the inner depths of the town are plenty active and behaving normally. This is a very well shot sequence just showing him flying and capturing the unsettling nature of what’s going on. While airborne Vision takes notice of a stopped car near the border.
-Turns out its Agnes in the car. She seems to be in a mental short circuit at the moment. She asks Vision for directions... in a town she supposedly grew up in. Vision worriedly does his mind trick to free her suppressed personality and she quickly identifies him as an Avenger, believing he’s there to help everyone. Vision does want to help but is clueless about what an Avenger is, so it seems he hasn’t regained any of his memories yet. This leads to the “Am I dead?” discussion from the trailer. Vision needs it clarified for him that Agnes believes he’s dead. Several times. Vision wants to leave Westview to figure out what’s going on but Agnes questions how. No one leaves, which isn’t true you just have to tick off a reality warping witch. Agnes identifies that Wanda is the one in peoples head, preventing them from even thinking of leaving. While that does sound incriminating we still don’t know everything that’s going on so I’m staying hopeful. Agnes isn’t however as she winds up going on about how “All is lost” and cackling until Vision zaps her brain back into the illusion. So I guess she isn’t evil here. Once Agnes is back on her disturbingly merry way Vision makes his way to the boundary line.
-Back with the trio Monica gets a response from her engineer associate who is coming with the way back into the Hex they started on last week and wants to head out to meet them. Darcy mentions they can’t do that. “Sure we can. I’m a whiz at hot wiring cars.” Ha ha ha ha ha! Okay that was funny. Monica thinks the worst case scenario is her getting whammied and dressed up again but it turns out Monica specifically can’t go back in because every time she crosses the boundary her cells get transformed. Monica balks at the data, mentioning she’s seen enough lab results for a life time. She goes on and talks about what she went through with her mother’s cancer and reveals that’s why she wants to help Wanda, because Monica has been through grief like her and wants to do what she can to help her through it.
-Darcy chooses to stay behind so she can find what Haywad is hiding, feeling it could help them get answers about the whole thing. Monica and Woo aren’t crazy about the idea because of how dangerous it is but relent and go on their way. The Son of Odin would be proud of you Darcy.
-Back in the Hex Wanda and Pietro talk about how nice Westview is and how their parents would have loved it. So of course Pietro ruins it by asking where the kids were until now. Okay that’s a bit unsettling. He thinks Wanda just had them asleep and didn’t want them traumatized, which starts getting her bothered. Pietro praises her for her handling of the ethical ramifications of her little bubble. Families and couples aren’t split up, most personalities are close to their normal ones, they even have better jobs. Pietro how do you know all of that? Wanda is surprised that he is okay with all of this, which sadly proves that Wanda is aware of what she’s doing. Pietro is actually impressed with how much Wanda’s powers have grown.
-Pietro continues the ominous vibe by asking how Wanda did all of this. She’s reluctant to tell him but he wins her over with their familial bond. Wanda doesn’t know how she’s done all of this, just remembers overwhelming and all consuming grief. So we’re about where we started and what’s behind all of this.
-Wanda takes a moment to compose herself and sees Pietro as his gunned down corpse for a moment, just like she saw Vision two episodes back. Pietro questions if she’s okay and balks when she tries to confirm she is. Seriously what is up with you Pietro. You better not be Mephisto I swear.
-Darcy finds something called Cataract in Haywad’s files. The file says its Eyes Only so I think she can’t see what it actually is but I don’t know. She sends an e-mail to Jimmy before she notices that Vision has made his way to the boundary. And she notices because Haywad did. Uh oh.
-Vision crosses the boundary but I wouldn’t say it’s successful. There’s an energy effect connecting him to the line, which seems to be trying to keep him in or pull him back in. Parts of Vision start breaking off and getting pulled back into the field.
-And where is Haywad during all of this? Just standing there doing nothing while commenting on how much Vision must want to escape. Okay Haywad if your going to be a jerk and possibly evil then can you at least be smart at it. There is no reason for you to just be standing around. Unless your hoping that some part of Vision is still remaining for you to collect but I highly doubt that will happen.
-Darcy charges in to try and help Vision but of course these guys are from incompetence incorporated so they keep her from helping. Oh Haywad is going to get the mother of all lighting bolts shoved up his rear when Thor finds out about this.
-Billy is somehow perceiving Vision’s struggle at the moment hearing his fathers voice in his head. He stops Tommy with telekinetic powers and goes to Wanda to save him.
-Vision is still desperately struggling and begs SWORD to help the people of Westview. Hero to the end that one.
-Pietro makes a tasteless joke about Vision can’t die twice and gets blasted for the remark. Should not move mouth faster than brain can think.
-Billy is able to to focus his powers to figure out what’s happening. They seem a bit different than Wanda’s. He’s either mentally linked to Vision in the moment or he’s clairvoyantly witnessing what happens. Billy worries that his father is dying.
-Wanda stops the town cold in its tracks and focuses her powers. Monica and Jimmy notice that the field is moving so it seems that Wanda is expanding it. The SWORD agents try to flee and the one who cuffed Darcy leaves her behind, only to get abandoned by his fellow agents. Delicious karma. The restores Vision once it passes over him but it doesn’t stop there. The Hex keeps growing and expanding, ensnaring almost all of the SWORD personnel. Only Haywad and a few agents remain and I know this is a bad thing but in the immediate moment for him I can only think “Yeah Wanda zap him, zap him good.” We see the Hex growing without end and the episode ends with a cut to Wanda as the red glow fades from her eyes.
Final thoughts
-Can’t tell if this is the era for the 90s or the 00s. I’m personally ascribing to 90s because of the commercial fitting the aesthetic of that era better.
-Evan Peters as Pietro is a delight. He honestly comes across as his character from the Fox movies dropped into the MCU and it is done very organically. I sincerely hope that he actually is the Fox version of Quicksilver brought to this universe because that would be amazing.
-Haywad has officially used up my good will towards him. I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt until he brought Monica’s mother into things. That was just low and solely to hurt her. At this point it’s a toss up over Wanda zapping him, Vision rearranging his insides from the outside, Monica frying his rear end with her incoming powers or Woo getting him trouble through good old fashion legal fu.
-I think we can safely say that the Vision sight we saw in episode 4 was just a hallucination as we see the same effects when Wanda looks at Pietro and Vision doesn’t wind up looking anything like his destroyed self from Infinity War once he crosses the boundary.
-Liked what they did with Tommy and Billy. I was not expecting them to do much with the two but they already have their powers. I’ve been hearing rumors about the Young Avengers making their way to the MCU but its one of the teams I don’t really follow. If it happens great, if not I don’t really care.
-Woo proves to be an MVP, schooling people with his words and decking them the heck out when he has to. You know mister Woo the United Nations is trying to put togethers a group known as the Agents of Atlas, could we interest you in a position.
-It is fully confirmed that Wanda does know what is going and is willingly continuing it. There is a semi-confirmation that she is trying to do right by the people of the town like trying to protect the children but the fact is she knows she’s keeping them trapped so there had better be a dang good reason for wanting to keep this going or so help me Wanda we will get someone in there that takes you down.

Agnes Analysis
As previously stated, on Valentine’s Day my husband and I did a rewatch of all the WandaVision episodes thus far so that I could take the time to do a deeper analysis on Agnes and explain why she is suspicious and good. I need to amend my thoughts and say that she is suspicious and not the villain.
I don’t think she’s good necessarily…but she’s not bad. She’s naughty as they keep telling us and naughty is playful. I do think she’s 100% Agatha Harkness, but Agatha isn’t a villain despite what you may hear in some circles.
Look at her name Agnes. Agatha Harkness. Maybe she’s named that as a misdirection, but I doubt it.
Moving on to the series and my nonsense analysis:
When we start the series, it seems clear that the “show” is already running and there are episodes that we, the audience, have not seen. However, we don’t get to view the situation until Agnes returns to town. Yes, the episode starts with Vision and Wanda in their home, but they are the main characters so of course it would. Still, our first episode is her first episode.
When Vision leaves for work, Agnes appears and says, “I’m Agnes, your neighbor to the right. My right, not yours. Forgive me for not stopping by sooner to welcome you to the block. My mother-in-law was in town, so I wasn’t.”
Right off the bat, Agnes is suspicious. These lines are suspicious. Specifically, “My right, not yours.” I don’t think she’s referring to the actual location of her house (Herb lives to the left of them and he is not her husband). I think she’s referring to her place in this story. She’s been placed there by her right, not Wanda’s.
Important note: her anniversary is June 2nd…Salem Witch Trials. Agatha Harkness confirmation.
To the episode, Wanda turns to Agnes for assistance and she leads her down the wrong direction. Perhaps how Agatha leads Wanda down the wrong direction in seeking help prior to the start of the Hex…
She is also the one to make Wanda start questioning her marriage and her reality because of their lack of song, anniversary and rings.
We get the first “You’re so naughty!” in this sequence.
Another thing I noticed in the first episode is that every time Agnes appears to apparently help, things get more complicated and the “ingredients” meant to aid Wanda, bring her more chaos.
Moving on to episode two, Agnes is in their house in the intro while everyone else is outside. Because she is in the inner circle. Still, she is noticeably alone even though she is apparently married. Suspect husband.
In the episode, she says “Look, it’s the star of the show,” and pretends it’s about the rabbit but I think it’s a slight test of Wanda’s awareness of the Hex and this odd sitcom. Agnes is testing Wanda’s reaction.
We also get another nod to Agnes as Agatha with her rabbit’s name Senor Scratchy like Agatha’s son Nicholas Scratch.
Then we see that strange exchange with the mailman which makes him suspect as hell too! And once again, Agnes tries to help Wanda by warning her about Dottie, but instead makes her nervous about the situation that turns out poorly because of the pressure.
Important lines to note in this scene:
“The devil’s in the details Bev”
Agnes “That’s not the only place he is.” Interesting.
For the rest of episode two and most of episode three we see less of Agnes and I think that’s because of Geraldine (Monica)’s presence. For reasons Agnes doesn’t understand, Wanda quickly grows fond of “Geraldine” and she steps into the role Agnes is supposed to play in her life.
Agnes and Herb question her existence because she doesn’t belong, and she’s being invited into the inner circle. It seems that Agnes is worried that “Geraldine” will lead Wanda down the wrong path or at least the path to the truth she’s trying to hide.
Episode four doesn’t have much development in the WandaVision fake series but we do see that Agnes’ identity is not known. They have no real name for her and she doesn’t appear to be a New Jersey resident like almost every other relevant character.
In episode five we see that Monica’s exit leads to an increase in Agnes’ role again, “Auntie Agnes.” Also, with Monica gone, Agnes solidly knows that Wanda is aware of the illusion. She continues to play her part, but she addresses Wanda directly when things start to move off script. Despite being in front of Vision, she brings attention to Wanda’s control of the world. I think she’s moved on from Wanda and is now trying to wake up Vision.
Strange note: the babies stop crying when Agnes breaks character. Wanda’s magic doesn’t work on them but somehow their cries are tied to the sitcom narrative and Agnes’ actions.
“Kids, you can’t control them. No matter how hard you try.” Weird line. Is she referring to Wanda trying to control them or her?
Later when she claims to have seen the dog from her kitchen window I again have to question how. She is not next door! How can she see into their fenced in yard from the view of her house?
We finally see outside of her Bewitched styled home—Agatha Harkness nod—and I say again, she is not next door to them! Earlier in the scene in the kitchen she says, “Let’s just hope this dog stays the same size,” and then he dies eating bushes at her house thereby forever staying that size. Creepy and suspicious.
Her face, however, in this entire interaction that follows is why I don’t believe she’s bad. She has genuine concern on her face when the kids say that Wanda can bring back the dead and a wave of relief passes over her when Wanda says, “Some things are forever.” Watching Wanda and her children, Agnes looks like she’s relieved that Wanda is growing and willing to accept death and wants her children to do the same. It’s the first time she shows true vulnerability and I think (or maybe just hope) that’s because in her own strange way she doesn’t wish ill on Wanda.
Fast forward to episode six and once again we see less of Agnes because of the introduction of a new character. The fake Pietro.
When we finally see Agnes, dressed as a witch fully confirming her identity as a witch (given that all the other main characters are dressed in nods to their true identities Herb is dressed as Frankenstein’s monster and the concern that brings me is big) she is somewhat frozen but not fully. Just as she is somewhat under Wanda’s control but not fully. Her lines here are vital!
In this trance-like state she tells Vision that she “got lost, took a wrong turn.” Pointing to the narrative of this story. She and Wanda are lost, and things (like the apparent resurrection of Wanda’s dead brother) have taken a wrong turn. She’s lost. She doesn’t understand her purpose here anymore. She’s on Ellis Ave trying to escape but she doesn’t really know if that’s what she’s doing. When Vision “wakes” her, she immediately clutches at her neck/chest seemingly in search of her broach. The necklace she usually wears could have been the thing keeping her out of Wanda’s control but Pietro’s appearance (and the strange necklace he now wears) have taken that from her. She asks Vision if she’s dead. In the comics Wanda does kill Agatha, but we’re not there yet. Probably. But she asks because Vision is dead and then she screams dead over and over again as if he’s not the only dead thing around. Look back at my thoughts about Herb. He’s dressed as Frankenstein’s monster and if we can apply the same logic to his costume as the other relevant characters, that could be pointing to the fact that he is a reanimated body. SO CREEPY! SO SUSPICIOUS!
Agnes name drops Wanda where Norm didn’t when he was taken out of the trance. I don’t think this is just to place the blame on Wanda and take the focus away from her. Agnes is still trying to wake up Vision so she’s giving him answers where Norm had none, but I also think she is speaking to her position. Wanda’s magic is growing and she has finally taken control over Agnes where she was limited before.
There are holes in her story to Vision that Wanda is behind it all, but she’s still hiding a significant truth. She’s probably protecting her “husband” the real villain of this story.

15, 24, 61, 79, 88(Spotify wrapped ask post)
15. "Me and My Imagination" - Sophie Ellis-Bextor
I listened to a bunch of 2000s/2010s British pop this year and I apologize for none of it. It fun.
24. "In a Station" - The Band
Tumblr media
The Band rules and this is the best song that singer/pianist Richard Manuel ever wrote. The melody and vocal performance is just sublime. It's emotional, raw, and just a joy for the ears. My favorite lines are:
"Isn't everybody dreaming Then the voice I hear is real Out of all the idle scheming Can't we have something to feel"
61. "Two Solitudes (Everyone's Love In the Air)" - Level 42
Level 42 was my most listened to this year. I found them around the middle of the year and then just never stopped. They started as a really cool funk band and then transitioned into a fun and relaxing 80's pop band (this song is from those pop band years.)
79. "It's Over" - Level 42
Hey! Look at that! Haha This one is from the same album (1987's Running in the Family, a really good album that's worth your time as well as their commercial peak.)
88. "A Newlywed Couple" - Wandavision Episode 1 Soundtrack
One of the highlights of my year was watching Wandavision with you and @poppy-ghost. Say what you will about Marvel, I thought Wandavision was a great ride. It was very obvious that a lot of love was put into that series and while there were parts that didn't work super great, I still had a blast!
My first job was working hospitality in a retirement home and that was where I was exposed to a lot of the old sitcoms Wandavision pays tribute to. When I watched the first episode I was floored. I loved every minute of it and immediately wanted to see where it went from there. Part of that enjoyment came from the music, which I think did a really great job setting the stage for each of the sitcom episodes. This got stuck in my head ALL the time when the show was still coming out.
Thanks for asking!! :)
spotify wrapped is HERE! send me a number 1-100 and i'll tell you the song it corresponds with on my top 100 playlist!
