what mobius is up to after the finale,
— how is he.
alright, by the way, i'm 100% interpreting mobius post-finale to be absolutely miserable and devastating and him losing loki is akin to a death, or when you have someone you love going missing.
mobius has gone absolute dysfunctional: yes, he may look ... a bit calm, a bit quiet, almost like normal, but that's not really his standard state of being. if anyone had dared look closer, you'd notice he's lost his appetite, his past interest doesn't interest him anymore, and he's... deeper in his thoughts, and not all of them good.
— where is he going.
so brad once said he's a 'nowhere man', which i think applies to mobius now more than ever. he doesn't feel purposeful at the tva — not with loki's loss hanging over his shoulder — and he cannot fit into his life as don on the sacred timeline, because it's not his life, but it's the closest thing he has to a tangible connection which is why he hangs around there the first early weeks of him leaving the tva.
now, speaking of the tva, i'd like to think they didn't fully retire mobius. i think, for my interpretation, they put him as a reserved agent. he's not technically active, but he's not retired from his position. b-15 gave him compensation in form of any currency he requires, and he's equipped with a tempad in case "he changes his mind". why i put him as a reserved agent is because i do think mobius' insight to the upcoming war is vital. he's an analyst, and he's a damn good one at that. b-15 would've been coming to meet him for advice. thus, the inactive status.
so yes, now mobius is aimless. and he'll be aimless for quite some time. i think he tries reaching out to loki plenty — praying for them, rather — but it's futile, isn't it. and any attempt of mobius trying to speak to another variant of loki almost always ends in failure e.g. mobius just not being able to hold his part of the conversation and walking away. ( this is crucial : it means he doesn't want just some version of loki. he wants the loki he knew. )
eventually, he's distraught enough that he would've gone and ask for advice from frigga, whom he thinks is the closest he could ask about loki's power. if it's possible to get to loki. of course, not even frigga could help him right ? which devastates him further.
this is around the time he finally signs himself up for an anonymous group grief therapy. mobius always introduces himself the same way, that his name is mobius. that he's lost a friend. he always implies that this is a "special friend", and that they've "fought together" and that that friend have gone on a special mission of his own, which mobius has no idea about, and he doesn't know if that friend will ever be back.
from the group therapy, mobius finally — finally — has the courage to "settle down", but ... it's more of a project than anything, building a house. he chooses a serene lake to build it next to, near an area where it's almost always cold. and in the house, he has a room decorated specifically for loki. "it's for when he'll be back," he would tell b-15, who purses her lips, and nods unconvincingly.
but of course, the house doesn't feel like a house. it's just a place for him to put some of his books, to lay down, to shower and eat. it's an empty spot.
— where can you find mobius now.
it's years now, and while mobius is slightly stabilised, he's still very much quiet. keeps things to himself. he still prays and talks to loki. he visits frigga to discuss his books with; he visits new asgards as a tourist a couple of times. ( they have a museum there dedicated to loki. )
sometimes he goes to intergalatic ( or on earth ) bars, just nurses himself a hard liquor.
he does go to his group therapy still, though it's grown lesser now as he thinks he's "getting better".
he visits libraries. he reads tons of books ( he's still a time agent, so he still knows every language on the timeline ). and that's it.
— outro.
if you see him in the street,
walking by himself,
talking to himself, have pity.
he is working through the unimaginable.

Chuckling to myself imagining Jason coming off as a snarky New Jersey bad-boy in English, but sounding like some prim and proper little prince in Tibetan because he learned the language from Talia, and she only speaks with perfect formal Lhasa diction.
It’s to the point that when they first met, Essence and Ducra assumed that Jason was Talia’s rumored son. The first time Essence hears Jason use English and he calls someone a ‘brain donor’ she gets whiplash.

house md 2024 headcanons 🫡
hi loves!! jumping on this trend :^) i don't think any of these make sense but they made me laugh soooo here u go
House has a very bad pain day and (when pushed) says that he strained the muscle while riding his bike. Obviously nobody believes him, so the ducklings + Wilson spend the day trying to figure out what he did and end up finding security footage of him attempting to hit the griddy in the morgue
Kutner has a very generic inspirational quotes tumblr blog (he’s so proud of it) and House finds it and just starts dropping quotes from it in DDXs to mess with him & then acting all innocent
Thirteen has a secret thirst trap tiktok acc that doesn’t explicitly show her face but has her lab coat & maybe stethoscope. When Chase suggests that it’s her she doesn’t confirm or deny it and just keeps winking. Cameron definitely follows the account after this. Thirteen pretends not to realise.
Wilson takes a uquiz to find out what sort of cheese he is and is devastated when it says he’s cheddar. He then has an identity crisis because he thinks he’s too bland and tries to reinvent his aesthetic, leading to one infected eyebrow piercing and a tramp stamp that’s never mentioned again. Potential there for a sappy scene where House tells him he's anything but bland.
Cuddy starts a momblog style podcast. House sends anonymous hate. Taub guest stars.
I think Taub would get deeply into ASMR. Like it’d start with him finding and playing a video of ASMR triggers for his daughters, then he tries it himself to see if that calms them down even more, etc etc. He starts a youtube channel and it blows up. He gets recognised by patients at the hospital. It goes to his head just a little. He unironically uses the term 'ASMRtist'
A cosplayer has a mysterious illness and the team has to go to a convention to test for environmental factors. Chase is apprehensive but House forces him to go. He’s quickly recognised at the convention and it turns out that he has a cosplay instagram account and they get stopped every 10 mins to take pictures. No one lets him live it down
Thirteen and Cameron kiss & fall in love & babysit Taub's kids. House makes relentless jokes but is quietly very fond of them and their relationship. Pls i need this
Foreman has a twitter/X account where he posts a combination of work out tips/inspirational quotes (not as sweet as Kutner's blog, more grindset vibes yknow) but he gets mixed up in a pyramid scheme for protein powders and gets cancelled. Also potential for a sappy scene here where Foreman says he admires Kutner for not letting House's teasing about his blog get to him. They're besties now and make each other better.
Cuddy forces all of them to go on a wellness retreat. House and Wilson make a bet to see who can go the longest without speaking. It's not even a silent retreat, they're just like that. Also someone convinces Chase that the utility shed on the retreat is haunted.
The wellness retreat no speaking bet also def has potential for gay chicken. Like Wilson kisses House to see if that will get him to lose the bet. By the next morning neither of them know or care who lost the bet, they leave their room looking Extremely disheveled and return to the hospital very much together. Cuddy is not at all surprised. She planned this. Each of the ducklings hand her $100.

Duke Thomas is actually the Wayne's family pretty boy.
He's a genius of his own, one of the smartest people in the family, his meta powers are like no other and despite being the one who does the day shift he's handling vigilantism, school and his newfound modeling career in stride.
Duke started modeling, because the Wayne family doesn't actually have a public nepobaby. Dick is a cop, Jason is legally still dead by his own request, Cass is not the biggest fan of the media, Steph is technically not a part of the family and Tim is already their corporate nepobaby, Damian is still a kid, so Duke had to take in the reins and assume the role of "famous person who only got that far, due to his family".
He was hesitant about it at first not sure if he could pull it off, but slowly with Bruce as backing and the Wayne Enterprises public relations department on call, he's been recognized as a nepobaby. He's doing every type of publicity, fashion photoshoots, he was Coca-Cola's face for six months, he's the one with a Samsung exclusivity partnership, he's always attending the met gala, going on movie premieres.
People are tired of seeing his face everywhere, when he got cast on the role of a originally white character, the internet was in shambles they were throwing tantrums and screaming about accuracies, but all of that got overshadowed by him appearing on Forbes with Bruce on a father and son photoshoot, where Bruce called him "the son who takes after me the most, he has an aura that attracts every camera on the room, he's like a beam of light."
People got even more pissed with it, after all Bruce isn't even his real dad what does he mean with "who takes after me the most"??? Is he that stupid? Dear god, how can these people have this much money and act like that
