got my first shipment of scales in!

I'm just missing 2 colors of the smaller scales and then I can begin my work 😈

guess you're bound to short out a supplier when you order over 1000 scales 😖

I feel so impatient though lol

It would be so fucking funny if the Spidey Gang had like significant gaps in how online they are between them and how niche their humor is.

Miles is always exactly one month behind the latest meme cycle (not always significant but can be lethal depending on how long a joke lasts before getting run into the ground. He once said 'boy math' too late and almost didn't make it out alive)

This is such a good Sora fit I don't even know how to explain how very much OG Sora this is, the pink tones of the overall sporty outfit perfectly capture all levels of her personality. Jou, I see you paired up the plaid pants with a nice long, muted, warm toned jacket BUT I SEE THAT PURPLE SHIRT POKING IN FROM INSIDE and excuse me sir but why that purple with the plaid 😭 I need to see a version where Jou isn't wearing the jacket so I can make an informed rating on this outfit but may I add that in the full merch pic he has paired this look with green and white sneakers...I cannot defend you I am sorry Jou, please try brown loafers next time 😭 But outfit aside, Jou eating a taiyaki with Gomamon is lowkey funny I just know that Gomamon cracked a Marching Fishes joke at least once.

Koushiro...I will not go into detail but I will say it's cute that you have a sweater with a little K on it, it's also very cute that there is a splash of orange in your outfit, who's attention are you vying for it isn't subtle at all bby boy and I am grateful you matched your shoes to your sweater even if the socks are definitely a choice and that blue with orange is also definitely another choice. Good to see your are making choices. I like that him and Tentomon are sharing dango, it's always nice to see Koushiro's fondness towards Japanese traditional snacks hinted at in some way.

MIMI. QUEEN. SLAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!! YOU NEVER EVER MISS MY SWEET BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL. The pastel tones matched with the grey stockings for contrast, that beret and the fuzzy hem boots, you just know she shops at Takashimaya and Isetan and anything below it will just not do 👏🏻 Plus Sora and Mimi are wearing the same tones, which probably means that they pre-planned the outfits together, cuties!!! Also Crepe is such a Mimi™️ choice of dessert but I always get teary eyes when I see Palmon mimic Mimi's gestures, there is just so much love and admiration between them for each other, pure childish wonder 💚 And the crepe even has a cutesy character face on it, which kinda looks like Monzaemon, though I can't be sure but if it is then another win for a subtle reference. Not to mention both Yamato and Mimi look like they've dressed in a more cool and elegant style than the rest like they might be on their way to a date THE MIMAT MATH IS MATHING YALLL!!!

Hikari looks super cute, I think there isn't much official art of her in casual clothing for OG stuff so it's nice to see her in a more cutesy fit suited to her age. The hairband matching the cardigan is such a nice touch!! I can't recall any other casual outfit for OG design Hikari except the War Game and Memorial Party dress, so I think this would be the first time we see Hikari with a hairband and it just looks adorable. Of course she is sharing an ice cream with Tailmon, it's kinda their brand now but like Takeru she's making a surprised expression, perhaps she wasn't expecting Tailmon to offer her a bite of her ice cream?

To conclude, this is probably the best OG artwork we've gotten since Idk maybe the Rainy Day stationery series. This will be sold in advance at the Kamio Store booth at Anime Japan 2024. No other details were mentioned, but the event booth sale feels like a pre-sale before the goods become available more widely at other outlets, hopefully, at some stores that international fans have access too as well.

BABY/KID GOM HEADCANONS!!!

Midorima-

Had a strange obsession with rubber ducks. Had like 15 of them and refused to bathe without atleast 5 being present

He named every single one

He was the first one in his class to memories all the tables

He had a very hard time making friends :(

Had 1 friend that was actually his cousin but he moved states

But its okay the teachers loved him!!

Sat with teachers during lunch

Grew out of his shoes very fast and hated buying new ones bc he had a hard time adjusting to change

Had the cutest baby face and smile. Literally he was the cutest kid do not fight me!!!

Once him and his mom were going for a walk and a random woman came up to them and asked to take a pic with baby mido because he looked THAT cute.

it was either the cutest or the most off-putting thing to watch a 4 feet, oddly baby faced, 3rd grader trying to speak in polished adult vocabulary

Grew out of his clothes very fast

always at the back of every class photo

there was a kid that asked him "hows the weather up there" for 3 weeks straight and one day he got so fed up he told him that it was raining and spit on him

always picked first in pe

always picked out the vegetables during lunch and got scolded by the teacher for it

Aomines mom and momois mom thought it was so cute and funny. They sent aomine to momois room to apologies and recorded the entire thing

he made momoi an origami swan as an apology. she forgave him!! yay!!

was actually very radiant and had many friends

always got his shoes dirty and torn beyond repair

his teacher missed him during school trip headcounts and he got left behind at the zoo. like the bus literally left

he was calm and collected and just told one of the guards there to give him their phone so he can call his mom

his mom called the school furious and the bus came back mid way to pick him up

his teacher was crying and hugged him TIGHT. and she apologized a million times

he kissed her cheek!! aw

people loved her hair!! everyone loved to play with it

obsessed with remote controlled cars and planes

had a phase where he hated masaomi and loved masaomi to death during his toddler years

on one hand he wouldnt let masaomi even 5 feer near his remote controlled car collection

on the other hand when he was 4 he needed. NEEDED masaomi to sleep

he needed to be on masaomi's lap, shoulder anywhere

he gave him lots of kisses

And masaomi thought it was so cute

and akashi used to stare at him with such awe and love masaomi cried once. he got teased by shiori

Masaomi took him to work one day just to for demo or smth

and within 5 mins 4 year old akashi got stolen by the employees and they all played w him!1

One and Usagi's height difference is sort of funky. If you've seen my (Teaa's) Usagi drawings you may notice I draw him standing on his toes (that's the best way I can describe it, kinda like the shape of a dog's back legs) even though he stands on his feet like a human in the show. I think both are good, since I wanted him to have the same sort of spring in his step that rabbits do. So Usagi technically has two heights: his full height, and normal/relaxed height. He usually stays on his toes when he's in combat so he can run faster, so all the time in the Battle Nexus. (behold conceptual sketches below)

A while ago we were discussing One an Usagi's heights and thought it would be funny if Usagi was taller and shorter than One. So normally, Usagi's a few inches shorter than One, but when his fight or flight response is activated or is otherwise on edge, he's suddenly a couple inches or so taller (measurements are not exact the math makes my brain hurt). It intimidates One all the time + is a great indicator to look out something is coming.

Also, I figure One doesn't stop growing when he reaches adulthood so he gets a lot taller than Usagi by the apocalypse. This was going to be because some turtles don't stop growing as they age, but apparently that does not apply to red eared sliders, so now it's just bc he's a genetically engineered mutant of war and Usagi is not <3

Funny seeing the cult cocky on twitter about Tk outings in 2023, cause they never had any before. Celebrating tk riding together one time to Suga's concert, when this is shit Jikook done for years. Outings alone, with friends & riding together for years. The ski trip, the premiere outing, every outing TK had in 2023, them riding together to Suga's concert, Tae was in a relationship with Jennie. All that on stage stuff at the concerts between TK, yep Tae was dating Jennie. At this point they are calling Tae a cheater & Jk a homewrecker by insisting the things TK was doing was romantic. They'd rather paint Tae as a horrible BF to Jennie and JK as a relationship wrecker, then admit Tk are friends & they are wrong. All those vacations Tae took with Jennie, they pretend didn't happen. NY, Jeju, Paris. Jennie there with Tae the day he was getting ready for his first trip to Paris, standing there in the flesh with him in a video, while he gets his hair done. Hell he was with Jennie in Jeju days after the festa dinner as well, where they said it was unscripted & TK showing they were BF's. The Taennie timeline stretches a long way. This wasn't a fling. Tae clearly cared about her. Enough to confirm the rumors & leaks with her, by doing what he did with her in paris & tkk disrespected his relationship every step of the way & still do. And why? Cause they want to "win" and want Jkk to lose? Bitch this is no competition. Jikook are together now, enlisted by choice. The only winners here are Jikook. They won this IDGAF war. And you can't erase Jennie from your TK advent Calander timeline. You saw Tk outings only in 2023, when Jimin was busy working his ass off & Jennie was busy on tour, cause when Jimin & Jennie wasn't busy, you saw Tae with Jennie & Jk with jimin & TK spending no time together. Its not hard to do this math. Taennie = Your ship is not real. BTW what we did see of Jikook since y'all wanna get cocky, the private trips, silver day date, enlisting together, means more then a couple of friend outings. One half of your ship was dating someone else from 2021 - 2023. Tk have a special friendship, not a romantic relationship. One day it'll click.

They need to free Tae.

this is funny because the day this happened people here on tumblr (some jkkrs) were saying that "vmin's hug outdoors seemed off so their relationship must be in a weird state" (even tho jm was supporting tae on his music show. Why would he do that if they were not ok?). Atp, i think we all should know that we dont get to see everything (we see almost nothing these days, actually), so we should at least wait to see more to put it out there our opinions concerning the guys.

I am indeed among the people who said Vmin have been distant and anon I stand by it. But I never once said they didn't like eo. Or care about eo. They never would have renewed their contracts as BTS if there was bad blood between any members.

Vmin not being the same as they used to be is not a thing Jikookers made up coz they don't like V. It's a thing that alot of people noticed. Heck even their own shippers have been going "Vmin divorced" for sometime now. It is what it is.

But they do seem to be okay and I for one I'm happy to see it. But, anon. You look at that and see a wholesome Vmin moment. Which yeah, I do too. But at the same time I couldn't help but notice one super crucial thing. Alot of jkkrs did:

It can't be a coincidence that when Jikook are busy they seem to seek out V. But when they weren't busy they were nowhere to be seen. Once again, the math is mathing here.

Now, the double date is only a speculation on my part, simply because Taennie were rumored to be there right before the news of Jikook being in Jeju dropped. And its not that far fetched to think the 4 hang together.

Now I'm not saying they're using him (not that V would mind if that was the case) but you can't deny its a tad eyebrow raising that we only see Jikook out and about with V when the other is MIA....

Professor Michael Gavey is the biggest mystery at Oxford. Nevermind the rumors of ghosts or secret societies. Everyone, regardless of what they’re reading, wants to know what the fuck is going on with him.

It all started when two of his students saw him walking towards a car that a beautiful woman was just getting out of. The students thought they were about to see him getting rejected HARD, but then as he and the woman meet at the boot of the car, they kiss! Very passionately and sloppily!

One of the students whips out his phone and takes a picture on instinct, later posting it on the Oxford subreddit with the comment “this has to be a hooker, right?” Why else would a woman like that kiss a guy as brusque, rude, and just plain weird as Professor Gavey?

But then, only two days later, another student posts pictures they took that zoom in on the matching rings the professor and the woman wear. They’re fucking married! The subreddit goes wild.

The true conspiracies don’t start until some students see the woman (“Mrs. Gavey, I guess?”) at their favourite local pub, brazenly flirting with the owner as he tends bar. They sneak a photo and post it on the subreddit, and all of a sudden all of Oxford is up in arms that their least favourite maths professor’s wife is cheating on him.

Until later that week, another student posts a photo of both Mrs. Gavey and the professor BOTH flirting with the pub owner, who seems to reciprocate!

The mods of the Oxford subreddit make a new subreddit specifically for the Professor Gavey conspiracies after that.

The theories range from the denials (“there’s no way Gavey got not one, but TWO people to like him!”) to the correct (“it’s def a throuple”) to the actually insane (“Gavey is a pimp in his spare time and he’s just checking out his hos”).

Michael, Reader, and Billy are well aware of this, and enjoy looking through the subreddit when they’ve had a few pints. Billy even has a burner account where he posts his own, obviously incorrect, theories. He’s now known as the “secret agent truther” among the small but passionate community.

Reader doesn’t really care at all. She thinks it’s kinda funny, actually.

Michael was a bit pissed at first, but then he realized that the intrigue was leading to more students taking his classes, and after that, some even switched their course to maths. Now he’s all for encouraging it. After all, the more students take his class, the more bonuses he gets, and the more he can spoils his cringefail lovers.

Local cryptid math professor Michael Gavey, who is the strictest, the biggest asshole in the whole university, who dresses like a loser grandpa, who revels in failing his students and making them feel stupid. And no one knows a single thing about him. The Oxford subreddit is full of his students, and ex students, whining and bitching about him; the stolen photo is a bomb, it becomes the hive of the conversation. The barrage of new pics are all people are talking about, and that's when you three get a whiff of what is going on.

You can't stop laughing: they all hate Michael, yet they're inflamed because of your supposed 'cheating' with Billy. Michael is not as happy, they call you all variations of "slut" under the sun and who takes pictures of strangers kissing?

"You know we can drive them even madder, by feeding them false information? Muddle the waters, so to say" Billy says after the photo of you three flirting makes its way into the subreddit.

You can see the mischievous spark in Michael's eyes.

"They're going to make fools of themselves. That's what they deserve for snooping and insulting you." He says menacingly.

And so it starts, the barrage of false, bordering to absurd, opinions, flood the 'Michael Gavey conspiracies' subreddit, raging from "Maybe they're just friends" to "The guy from the pub is their bull", to "No, the professor is the bull." to "Gavey is in a secret society, those two are just members!" to "They're in for the sex. Why do you think Professor Gavey dresses that way? He's hiding his monster dong in there!". Some people believe in the "Throuple theory", others are hell bent in proving that the kiss in the first photo never happened, it was just the terrible angle; they are not kissing, it's fake news!!! Others are all in for the "Professor Gavey is the head of a sex cult", whilst a small fractions wonders why he's always such in a terrible mood, with two hot people by his side, perhaps the sex is awful?

Some of those theories are carried on by Billy's various burner accounts; he randomly logs in and trolls the subreddit, while you three are relaxing for the night, telly on and feet on the coffee table. He plops himself next to you and Michael, wondering which account he should use for the night ("I haven't logged in the 'Gavey is a pimp' one in a while, but the fake news redditors are rabid tonight!").

You find the whole situation hilarious and ask Billy updates on the guy who calls you a 'slut', but is hell bent in using the more obscure and ancient slang he can find, "Jezabel" is a great classic, but "Cockatrice", "Wish-wife" and "Mignote" are in your personal top 10. You three are still debating about "Half-virgin", does it mean the person uses one of their holes and the others are still untouched?

Michael, who's discovered the joys of trolling people, drops extremely vague hints during his lectures and checks the subreddit to see how the people there react; he's even managed to recognize a couple of his current students and a batch of people from the previous years (one is a PhD candidate and Michael is working him like a donkey for the unflattering comments he left).

Ever since the first photo dropped, there had been a spike of enrollment in his courses, which gives him the chance to terrorize and scar for life a bigger chunk of rich assholes who got admitted thanks to their family's wealth. The fact that he gets bonuses is the cherry on top, you two need all the pampering he can provide!

I've been wanting to do this for some time and seeing @beeoftheanxieties reblogging the appreciation posts with the things she loves about each of them finally convinced me to do it <3

This started as a short list of reasons why I love them but it ended up being way longer than I expected so I'll put it under the cut

This man has no business being so hot but yet so sweet and cute and cuddly. He looks like he gives the best hugs ever (hopefully I can confirm this one day)

He looks like the shy one out of the five of them, but also seems like the kind of person that would be there for you through thick and thin, always listening and understanding

He said he wanted to be a vet and I think that's so cute

His tattoos are so cool and I need to have a close up of all of them asap. I'm still not over the fact that the sleeve tattoo goes up to his shoulder (and also the fact that *he* designed it like, talk about talent!)

Last but not least (and which might be my fav thing about him), HIS LAUGH. I swear his laugh is one of my favourite things ever, I could listen/watch him laughing all day and never get tired
