Kept together
I’m held together by strings of anger
And hot tears of frustration
Sitting on my bedroom floor
Next to a broken box fan
My head in my hands
I am tethered together by sadness
And hopelessness
That animates
into violent words of rage that ring through the walls
My face twisted in a scowl
My eyes permanently rolled to the back of my head
I’m held together by a simple piece of confusion
Of unsure emotions
That manifest strangely
I’m held together by everything mean and unkind
Not meant
But always said anyways

"If I was so dead, where was my funeral?! Where’s my headstone?"
I'm haunted by both these quotes and the idea of what would have happened had Timothy Goose found Ylfa after she'd well ...

my phone, my cigarette, my keys, my old-soul coffee enwrapped in one palm. my denim pocket unhurt from the sharpness pivoting in my right arm. this is what i am accustomed to. this is what i was born for. balancing myself for the creation of men, for men, with men. babydoll, petal, flower girl? names embroidered not taloned in my porcelain skin. babybrown, ribbon beneath my knees, braided lashes.
