Hoarding Fall

His collection started in the zoo:

enrichment for his enclosure

which the dragon soon found he outgrew.

Even back then he protected his hoard from exposure:

never bit the many pumpkins, never blew the leaves around—

but he sorted them by colour and sewed them firmly to the dirt.

Those beautiful shades always kept him spellbound;

as he sat there and stared not a sound could be heard.

When he moved to his cave, he brought the whole hoard

and he added a rainbow of flowers on top.

But after long weeks perished gourd after gourd;

chrysanthemums withered and leaves became slop.

The cold of bitter winter settled into his own mood.

Why did each lovely pigment have to end up grey and faint?

The humans took care to avoid his neighbourhood,

but back in their own towns they hung baubles and splashed paint.

They dyed each little fence that lay within the dragon’s view

and gifted him a choker, set with quartz and rhodonite.

Now winter finds the dragon with his mind no longer blue:

he proudly sits amidst a hoard of brightly coloured light.

Zombies vs The Prefect

Ace, Deuce and Grim, wanting to prove themselves as powerful mages ended up summoning the dead and now they’re in danger

Grim: Ace, Deuce isn’t there some spell that can defeat zombies?!

Ace: No! I don’t know any spells that would defeat them!

Deuce: This can’t be happening. We wanted to prove ourselves so badly that we ended up putting everyone in danger. We’re so toast it’s all our fault and no one can save us!

Suddenly a zombie grabs Grim by his arm and raises him up to its face

Grim (Scared): No! Y/N, I’m sorry!

Deuce and Ace: GRIM!!

Grim (Screaming): Y/N!! HELP ME!! (Tears form in his eyes)

Just as the Zombie was about to bite Grim, it’s head gets smashed off from a baseball bat, and as it falls over, a certain somebody’s foot crushes the Zombies head, revealing Y/N who is covered in questionable liquid, clothes ripped and messy and has a few bruises on her face

Y/N (Panting): You three. Attic. NOW!

Deuce, Ace and Grim: Y-Y/N..?!

Y/N (Pissed): I said NOW!!!

Y/N (At the zombies): All right you undead jerks, you ready to die twice?! (Begins bashing and smashing every zombies head in that gets close)

Deuce, Grim and Ace (Running up the Ramshackle’s staircase towards the attic with Y/N right behind them):

Y/N: The only monster in this school who can harass my stupid friends and my stupid cat monster is ME! Take that! (Hits more zombies) And THAT!

Deuce: Shouldn’t we help Y/N?!

Ace: I think the Zombies are a much safer option than to disobey Y/N right now!

Y/N (At the stairs): Beat it, no-eyes! (Hits more zombies)

As Y/N smashes her bat into one of the Zombies’ mouth, they snatch it from her and break it in half, which she retaliates by punching it’s jaw with Brass Knuckles

Y/N (Becomes absolutely feral): ANYONE ELSE WANT A PIECE?!? (Begins to punch every Zombie’s face in that get in close)

Y/N then begins to run up the stairs and shoves the grandfather clock down the stairs, harming and blocking the staircase

Deuce, Ace and Grim (Shut the door behind them, only to hear banging on it):

Ace, Deuce and Grim begin to back away from the door in fear, only for it to open to reveal Y/N

Y/N (Coughing): Oh! Ow! (Bending down) Everything hurts

Grim: Y/N, that was amazing!

The Housewardens were about to intervene, until they saw and heard Y/N, then realized it would be better to stay back otherwise they might get hit by the wrath of the Prefect

Epel: GET ‘EM Y/N!! SHOW NO MERCY!!

Floyd: Shrimpy is a lot more interesting than I realized!

Got them from the same booth at C2E2 yesterday. Sadly, they didn't have a Jou to go with the Kaiba 😭😭😭 so Aventurine had to stand in for Jou in that picture. Why won't people make stuff of my boy???

That may also have been the only Aventurine at the show from what I saw? (I went through every booth in artist alley like 👀👀👀). I mostly wanted some Aventurine, so I'm happy and the other stuff was a nice bonus to find.

Dragon doodles, because there aren’t nearly enough of them

Chizzayrris, Jadais, Piddrat, and Bykin are all just experiments for what some dragons might look like. They were all named from this generator (Chizzayrris’s title was literally “master of yellow” also ignore Bykin’s markings I didn’t know what to do with him)

Martin, Agrazor, Fluffy, and Kiyo are all canon characters, and the one hesitantly named Haley is a sneak peek at my own OC!

Seriously though, if anyone can find dragon characters anywhere in tau, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send me an ask/message with a link and a sentence saying that it has a dragon in it! These are the only (documented) characters I’ve been able to find! (also is fluffy supposed to be an ironic name, or do they have feathers that I didn’t notice?) btw, speed draw under the cut

I am indeedy on the dragons website, and I am in fact a filthy dragon capitalist who is very invested in their underground designer dragon mill (read: I run a hatchery) but has recently gone broke buying too many genes for a specific project, ehehehe.

I actually just finished my Cupid and Psyche breeding project!

Cupid is still a baby nocturne who, tragically, is going to need three gem genes (iridescent, butterfly, and koi) because despite having four separate breeding pairs to nail the colors on him, I couldn't get one that also had the genes I needed! So if it's something that is within your range, I would be genuinely very appreciative of one of those gene scrolls! If not (they are Pretty Expensive), I also have a wishlist over here! Aside from retired fest items I'm slowly collecting from the years I missed, it's mostly a few scene backgrounds! :)

that's... that's not how grants work, Stan... Ford's not being selfish for not giving the money to you, he's actually being a responsible grant recipient and not using the money to commit actual fraud by using it for anything other than research purposes. He has to justify his expenses to the college he earned it from and if he's caught wiring grant money to you via unreported/unjustified expenses, he'd get the grant revoked and probably go to jail. And, depending on circumstances, it might even get you in even more trouble than you already were for accepting it. Is that really what you want? Honestly wouldn't even be surprised if his grant had already been revoked at this point.

I got this little wooden, jointed cat from a thrift store a long time ago, his paint was pretty rough (and a little icky-looking), so I finally got around to repainting him recently. I usually don't really like the idea of altering vintage items, but I think he was in need of it, and I'm happy with how it turned out :)

I kept the new paint job as close to the original as possible, with the colours (with the paints I have), style, and placements.
