Okay, allow me to give you some additional context before just bombarding you with all the many reasons why you need to watch this show.

Search for the Lost is a fan-made production created by Creative Planet Entertainment on YouTube. This shit has been around for 6 whole years, and it is such a good show! Made entirely out of g-mod screenshots/screen recordings and Sonic gameplay, Search for the Lost is a show about Silver the Hedgehog and his friends figuring out what Melhiles of all people is doing back in action, and why the fuck he’s working with Eggman of all people. Also, why is Infinite back… AND WHAT’S ALL THIS TALK ABOUT A PROPHECY!?

OH AND BLAZE IS HERE TOO!?!?

AND THERE’S THIS NEW GUY CALLED FORGE WHO IS LITERALLY THE BEST IN THE ENTIRE SHOW HANDS DOWN 100000P0/10 BEST BOI BEST ROBO BUDDY EVER HE’S SUCH AN IDIOT AND SUCH A HILARIOUS GUY HE’S LIKE THE ONLY ONE WHO MAKES GOOD JOKES HE IS LITERALLY THE BEST EVER I LOVE FORGE

Aight lemme just give a quick spoiler-free explanation about Forge because I know yall are looking at this like “Who tf is Forge?? Some kinda fan character or something??” Because… Yeah, he is a fan character, BUT A VERY GOOD ONE AND HIS DYNAMICS WITH EVERYONE WORK LIKE A CHARM I TELL YOU HE IS NOT JUST SOME RANDOM SONIC RECOLOR.

Cuz he’s a Metal Sonic recolor! 🤩 Haha, well to be fair, they literally call out Sonic recolors in the show with this fact. It’s in Forge’s story! Basically, Forge once worked with Silver in his bad timeline in Crisis City, but the ashes and the chemicals were too much for his small little itty bitty bird lungs. So, to keep himself from slowing everybody down, he managed to shove his consciousness into an old Metal Sonic model. A black-and-yellow one, kinda like the one from Archie except a lot less like Sonic personality-wise and a lot more like Sonic visually. With all these new robotic upgrades, Forge became a force to be reckoned with, and became one of Silver’s bestest friends after the whole Iblis thing. Oh, and he ships Silvaze like it’s nobody’s business, so that obviously gets an A+ from me lmao

I may have gotten carried away with that explanation and maybe there’s some spoilers in there but it’s late and I’m sleepy so you’ll only know if you watch the show~! ✨🙂

Seriously tho. This show is very underrated. I’ve been keeping tabs on it for years now, ever since episode 5 came out! Trust me, that’s a long time. They have their plates full when it comes to personal things and it’s a big project so episodes come out after a long time in production.

There are only 7 episodes so far, but each episode is jam-packed full of lore and giving us more questions on top of every answer! It brings back characters we haven’t seen for a long while, and it always provides a reasonable explanation as to why some of them have been gone and why some just like. Cut contact or something. There’s characters from previous games, from Sonic X, from Archie, from IDW, BRO WE GOT GAMMA IN HERE BAYBEEEEE IF THAT AINT FREE REAL ESTATE IDK WHAT IS.

AND DON’T FORGET HEAVY AND BOMB FROM KNUCKLES CHAOTIX. PLEASE. PLEASE DON’T FORGET ABOUT THEM THEY’RE HERE TOO AND THEY’RE LOVELY

So. Please. Please just watch this show. Please look at all the additional content with Forge on their channel too, it’s fucking hilarious! Just… I wanna talk to someone about this show who isn’t just my lil bro. Like I love getting to bombard him with bullshit about characters he’s never even heard about until watching this show but I gotta know I’m not the only one. Please. These people are working so hard on Search for the Lost and I’d really appreciate if you even saw just one or two episodes. The story is very intriguing, the characters are all so well-written, TEAM DARK IS THERE, FORGE GETS A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION, so I say it’s all totally worth it!

I have never been more nervous about posting a fic in my life lmaooo... Trigger warning- this fic deals with heavy topics so I totally understand if yall rather skip out on it. The only reason I felt comfortable writing this fic and posting it is because I have firsthand experience with these kinds of topics/issues even though certain aspects of this fic are purely, well, fictional. I should’ve been excited. Elated, even. I should have been bursting at the seams because my boyfriend Damian had just won the NXT North American Championship. And I was. I was so incredibly proud of him. But underneath that feeling pride, a horrible, and ever-familiar monster had awoken from its slumber.

Watching Damian celebrate, looking at his wide, pleased smile and appreciative eyes sliding over the curvy bodies of the models that surrounded him as he showed off his brand-new title… I was jealous. Admitting that to myself felt like swallowing acid, but I was. I could lie to myself and say that due to the fact that I couldn’t be there with him in person to celebrate due to being held up with my job, but I knew better.

I never felt jealous when Damian would show appreciation for other women. That wasn’t the issue. Lord knows I could appreciate a gorgeous woman myself. Women were magical, whether they had soft curves, thick thighs, not-so-thick thighs, flat toned stomachs, body rolls… it was all beautiful to me. So, I didn’t blame his wandering eyes.

And it wasn’t that I thought he would stray away from me in favor of any of these gorgeous and model-type women… nah, I trusted him implicitly.

But every time I looked, he seemed to be surrounded by these beautiful women. And I was very much aware of his past. Aware that within the slew of women he tended to go for in the past, I was the “rare gem” so to speak. Though I was a model myself, I have a much fuller figure that was… a little hard to love sometimes, as much as I hated to say that. I suppose every woman goes through these insecurities, especially with the rise in social media and its ridiculously deceiving and downright mind-warping filters. But for me in the past, these insecurities reached an excessive level of unhealthy behaviors that I had to pull myself out of on my own, too ashamed to admit it to anyone else and to ask for help.

And now at this very moment, when I should’ve been calling my man to congratulate him on his very much deserved win, I was instead talking to my personal trainer for some extra workout sessions, 6 days a week.

I wasn’t exactly careless with my body. I worked out- 3 days a week, max. And I was relatively good at watching what I ate. But I could hear that familiar monster in my head now… growling at me that I could do better. Screaming at me that I needed to compete, compete, compete, with and measure up to these women that I didn’t even know. These women who clearly put the work into their bodies that I very much could benefit from myself. And that my boyfriend clearly appreciated. Realistic body image standards, be damned.

It didn’t help that I had a tough day at work.

Being a plus sized model wasn’t always easy. There was still a lot of work to be done when it comes to what society deems an acceptable body type that’s worthy of basic respect. And today was just more proof of that.

I was in the middle of a lingerie shoot for a very famous lingerie company, and I felt like a million bucks. I felt hot as hell in every number they brought out… until one of the garments ripped. In the back of my head, I knew that it wasn’t my fault that the garment didn’t fit. I knew it was their responsibility to make sure that they had the appropriate sizes for all of their models. But that fucking monster called insecurity reared its ugly head back and bit me right in the ass again. Though the photographer and the stylists didn’t say anything outright mean to me, I could tell they were frustrated. They were frustrated that I wasn’t a “regular” sized 0 who they could fit into anything. I could see the contempt in their eyes and hear it in their voices. The type of contempt reserved for people they deemed unworthy and lower than them. People who they peg as someone who just didn’t take care of themselves as they should… This campaign was just a way to win brownie points, not something they all genuinely believed in.

It fucking sucked and I hadn’t felt this low in a very long time.

But I had decided from here on out that maybe… maybe listening to that monster was the right thing to do…

And so, it began…

Workouts, calorie counting, lemon water that did absolutely nothing except douse my teeth in citric acid, but my trainer swore by it.

The day after I contacted my personal trainer, we both got to work. 2 hours at the gym, 6 days a week, 7 if I was feeling up to it, she said. those closest to me and Damian- and Damian himself- had no idea about my new workout regime. I knew they’d look at me like I was crazy, especially considering I didn’t have a career that merited such an excessive diet and workout regime. No career merited the lengths I was going to in order to lose weight, to be honest.

Nobody except Damian and Rhea began to notice the pallor of my skin. The missed meals, the almost obsessive way I’d scan the ingredients and calories at the grocery store.

I was losing weight. I was happy to see the number go down on the scale week after week, but I wasn’t prepared for it all to come to screeching halt….

‘Damian, mate- pick up the fucking phone. Your girlfriend just fainted at the gym. Buddy and I are taking her to the hospital.’

Damian’s heart sank as he heard Rhea’s voicemail and the words that she spoke sunk in.

He figured this would happen, though. Though he didn’t really broach the topic with me like he felt he should’ve, he noticed how unhealthy my routine had become. His alarm bells started going off even more one day when he accompanied me to one of my workouts and he watched the way I pushed myself to my very limit. Foolishly, I had invited him that one day, thinking ‘well, this is working! So, it must not be that bad!’

And seeing his crestfallen and worried face fall as he walked into the hospital room I was in, felt just as bad as that ugly monster that was always lurking in the back of my head, ready to pounce.

“Muneca… what happened?” he asked, his tone pleading. Pleading to understand how we got here.

And so, with tears in my eyes, I unloaded. I told him everything from my past issues with eating and my weight, to the events that got me into this hospital room. And he listened. He didn’t interrupt me once until I was done.

“Why didn’t you tell me any of this?” Damian asked, squeezing my hand in his for dear life.

I shrugged.

“I dunno.. I didn’t want any sympathy, I guess. We all have shit we go through. Insecurities… It is what it is.” I shrugged again with a nonchalance I didn’t feel.

“… You know you’re beautiful to me, right? Mi muneca hermosa,” he said, smiling softly at me. So softly and tenderly that I swore I’d melt right into the sheets. “I know that’s not a magical cure or whatever, but still. I need you to know that. And that I’m here for you. Okay?” he asked, wiping the silent tears that cascaded down my cheeks.

I nodded, not trusting myself to not break into hideous sobs.

And yeah, it wasn’t a magical cure by any means. But seeing myself in that hospital room was what I needed to get back on track. Things weren’t perfect and I knew that that monster would always be there. Waiting…. Salivating as it waited for the perfect opportunity to sink its claws into me. And just knowing that I almost let it win scared the shit outta me.

But as I left that hospital with my boyfriend, my friends, a new therapist-and a new personal trainer, but they would have to wait a bit-, and a little more hope in my heart, I felt like I was finally taking the steps to be better. Not to change myself completely, but to just be the best version of me that I could be, for me. Not for Damian, not for designers and photographers who only viewed me as worthy if I could fit into their clothes and make them money.

For me. Because I’m more than worthy…

its such a large series that im assuming we'll potentially hit 100k words total since the first chapter was almost 20k and im not even halfway into the first section of the entire plot (and there's 6 total sections...), but yes haechan will have the full story!! if i discontinue haechan's version, its bc i gave up on the original bc its such a big project 💀 i am very passionate about it though and to have people like you who reach out and show their appreciation is what really keeps me going, so thank you so much for doing this again :(

i had posted the teaser for Alone pretty much right when the semester started and i didnt anticipate all that would happen since then- performances and all that, i have another show later this month and then my finals and all that. im still working on Alone i just havent had a chance to come on here to post for a while and im sorry<33 i've just seen all my asks and i wanna thank all of u for all the support i really appreciate it, it means a lot. i auditioned for a program earlier last month and passed- so even during our christmas/end of semester month and a half break- ill still have practice but ill have way more time (even tho im looking for a job to pay for the program rn lmao) so ill hopefully have Alone posted by then. - Do yall know HOW RARE IT IS TO HAVE A WOC IN REGENCY CLOTHING MAKING OUT WTH SOMEONE??? MML’s main couples and Kate Sharma paved the way so show them some damn respect

- Also I went through my S2 trauma for yall looking at the damn screenies; do you know how many times the Ginger Demon popped up before Kathony??? TOOOO MANY

- And I went through my 5 stages of grief with S2 all over again and was bitching about how they fucked up on which shots to use cos holy shit the editing and shots chosen for the final cut WERE SHIT

- ANOTHER editing note: So as I’m colour editing/grading my edit, I realise THEY DIDN’T LIGHT HER PROPERLY IN THE GAZEBO SCENE!! Cos colour grading screencaps from that scene came out like shit because they failed to light her and she was wayyy darker than she needed to be for that scene. They did so good in the almost kiss scene?? Whoooo lit her in the gazebo?? I want names!

Like lighting was not my strong suit in film school but I bet your ass I can light her better. As the only one with my skin tone in my class, I had to experiment around myself to learn how to light Indian girlies, he and theys who share my skin tone.

- As I finished writing this; I realised I sound insane and that’s cos I stayed up all night and really wanted to put out Vignette #2 asap and with a pretty edit to go with it too. Emma's friendship with Bowie was literally all about Chase. It started and ended because of him. It started because Bowie was like "oh girl hes shitty" and she was like "ikkkk" and it ended because he was like "oh girl hes shitty" and she was like "erm no!!!!" (i hate how the writers kept trying to bring chemma back let them both be freeeeeee). And the dance is just.. a dance. I'm not trying to say you're reaching but it is just 1 piece of evidence. Other than her dancing, there is barely any evidence to show that she doesn't care what others think (correct me if im wrong, ive only seen the reboot once and I haven't been able to 🏴‍☠️ s2 yet). I'm gonna take your word for it though, that she was super excited about the challenge even without knowing the answers. That's fun!!!! That is so fun, duh would she wanna do it, anyone would!!!!!! Maybe she just found it fun? And again, anyone would !!

Second, I do agree about the abuse thing. I dont think I worded my argument correctly in that ask, before it was posted I regretted saying that and I still do. What I meant was that Chase probably would apologize and try to make it better IF HE KNEW THAT WHAT HE DID WAS WRONG. Which he DOESN'T. And Emma is acting like he does in the show. He's shown to care about her on multiple occasions, and even saved her life once. He didn't want to kill her, he didn't want to hurt her. Personally, my least favorite thing in this show is WASTED potential. Emma did have the potential to be great, but with how they did her in S2 (referring to her getting voted out quickly) I'm losing hope. That's probably part of why I hate her so much. Just a difference in preference, I guess :)

Also, I heard from my friend that her archetype was the tiktok star, I should have done my own research. mb lmao. Still, im pretty sure she doesn't mention YouTube if its not in the context of Chase.

-I hope everyone is doing well and staying well! I'm here to update you that after 18 months (and checking the ephemeris/my astro apps), the Nodes [North Node/South Node] have moved into the signs of Taurus/Scorpio, respectively. Now, how will this affect you depends on where these Nodes will be transiting in your chart for the next 18 months. Yet, let's break it down generally. 😌

-You may have noted from my Nodes posts [and thank you so fucking much for showing love, it's my most loved post thus far ❤️😊✨], that the Nodes are two points in which the Moon's orbital path intersects the ecliptic. Astrologically, the Nodes also represents what themes we are being pushed towards during this 18-month cycle. You may have noted during the time the Nodes were in Gemini-Sagittarius in the US, that schools [since this axis talks heavily about learning] have definitely seen a shift. From remote learning to people literally dropping out because there are quicker ways to gain skills without sitting through four years, this axis challenged us to revise how we learned, gained information, and how we expressed ideas about what is going on around us in our environment rather than what's happening outside of our local environment. Moving away from the higher ideas and the "yes this is the big picture" to actually getting the details on how we need to accomplish it, esp in these times.

-Now, since the Nodes are currently at 29° Taurus/Scorpio, what can we generally expect? Well here are my personal thoughts:

North Node in Taurus:

-Expect to want to live life on the simpler side. 😌

-Expect to want to be more holistic with life. Living life to appease the senses and not just moving as a body. Living life that is fulfilling to you. Eat what you like, do that skincare routine, don't do things you know you don't wanna do. 😌🍔🧴 Remember Taurus is ruled by Venus, so don't be surprised for the next 18 months the collective is focused on these kinds of things.

-Expect to be more "au naturale." According to the late astrologer, Nikola Stojanovic, Taurus also rules Earth 🌍[Terra]. So leaning on the more natural side of things. Loving the slow side. Loving nature or having a more appreciation for Mother Earth. Loving the animals of Earth 🐈🦮🐇🦝. Won't be surprised if the makeup industry goes full blown with the natural trend with more of an emphasis on skincare. 🧴

-Expect to care more about the material side of life. 💸💰 Care more about money, your finances, your 401k, your Roth IRA, all that lol. Taurus is an Earth sign after all--stability--but not really just by working, working on things you are passionate about to make that cash, and getting it through your own means (lol stubborn Taurus).

South Node in Scorpio:

-Expect to lean away from focusing too much on what others got going on. We are learning to be in the present moment more with this transit. 🧘🏾‍♀️

-People may move away from their occult practices or take a break from it. It may be more of a "okay I've done alot of spiritual learning and growing, how can I actually use it in my life now?" 🧙🏾‍♀️

-People may be over taxes lmao. 😆 Does that mean they'll go away? I doubt it, but I won't be surprised those conversations may come up during this transit. Also goes for other kinds of shared resources (inheritances, insurance, etc). We are trying to take care of ourselves and that is already ALOT.

-We may lean away from always thinking we have to suffer in order to enjoy life. We enjoy life because life is here. That Pluto energy will definitely have someone thinking that there is no bliss without turmoil, but it doesn't have to be like that. 😌

-Again, these are just very general thoughts. Do look at your natal chart and transits for more personalized detail of these transits. For example, transiting your 5H/11H? You may be more concerned with simply living life enjoying your hobbies and not within a group. You may feel like you've changed so much being in your friend group, but now, what do you like doing for yourself?
