༊·˚ it didn't take more than a day for yeji to be head over heels for you. she was enthralled with your beauty and your charming stage presence, and with each passing second, she discovered more and more aspects of you that she admired. your friendship felt organic from the beginning, and spending the days with her made the training process less stressful as she was always cracking jokes.

when others pointed out that she paid more attention to you than everyone else in the group, she didn't fully understand, and once she came in touch with her feelings, she'd distance herself a bit to reflect and understand what and why she felt toward you.

when you came up to her scared you did something wrong to make her distant, she wouldn't be able to hold herself any longer. she couldn't keep her affection growing for you without speaking it out.

༊·˚ lia enjoyed working and spending free time with you. it was clear to her father and all his employees how she seemed more radiant and willing to do things with you rather than others, and, although not entirely positive about it, her father couldn't help but point her crush out to her during one lunch break.

she's the type to accept things quickly. looking back to the first day you ever worked together, when she found herself appreciating learning from you, she already knew something would bloom from there. and well, it was pretty obvious to her it was affection.

she took a liking to listening to you, learning your way of doing things, and realizing the small details about you that make you unique. she didn't go a day without thinking about you, so, what could it be, if not love?

༊·˚ ryujin had been infatuated with you and your looks since the very first second she saw you. she wasn't surprised when her obsession became romantic-like not long after you began a friendship, and, being honest to herself, she saw it coming.

not only were you her favorite face for her collections, but your personality suited hers wonderfully, making you a more than perfect fit for each other (at least in her eyes).

she didn't struggle with her feelings at all, and she made it a point to tell you how she felt about you as soon as she knew something other than friendship was growing in her chest.

༊·˚ chaeryeong was instantly shaken by your lively spirit and desire to develop your abilities, finding herself gravitating unconsciously towards you every time you had classes together.

she was so impressed with you that she gave you the center for some parts, later insisting on you staying after class to help you improve when secretly she just wanted to have some alone time with you.

it takes a long time for chaeryeong to assume her feelings to herself. just thinking about the word love made her cheeks heat up, and whenever someone pointed out her preference for you, she'd pout and curl up to herself.

chaeryeong was, indeed, in love with you, and had to do something about it before she'd implode.

༊·˚ yuna has been utterly captivated with you since your first day in class. she was notably unaware of her colleagues' problems as she was focused on you – on how attractive you look when concentrated, and how she wishes she could be your deskmate.

of course, with her responsibilities as class president, she couldn't just pay attention to one student, which was brought up by some close friends of hers. it was pretty obvious to them (and to her, even if she didn't mind assuming it) that she had more than a temporary crush on you.

even after correcting her lack of attention with the rest of the class, every now and then she stops to take a look at you. she flirts with you, trying to figure out why she fell in love, and despite her efforts, she can only settle for the idea that her heart chose you to love.

The Night Nurse

Chaeryeong x Fem!Reader

Warning: Yandere

You were hospitalised from a hit-and-run car accident that took both your parents’ lives, causing you to slip into a state of depression. You would just cry in your hospital bed all day, the only exception being when a pretty nurse who introduced herself as Chaeryeong was around. She would always tend to your every need and make you forget about everything else. It was just so easy when she was so nice to you, maybe even too nice.

Whenever the other patients teased you about Chaeryeong saying it was obvious she had feelings for you, you would just laugh it off and say that it was impossible. But why else would she always bring you takeouts from your favourite place when you insisted that the hospital food was just fine? Or linger outside the door when the other patients talked about her thinking you couldn’t see her when you could see her eves dropping through the window with a shy smile on her face?

It didn’t take long for Chaeryeong to confess to you, clumsily fumbling over her words because she was so nervous. She wouldn’t even look into your eyes and just stared at the floor the whole time. You heart clenched hearing her confession, but you had to reject her because you weren’t ready to let someone into your life yet. You didn’t want to lose someone important again. “But I will never leave you!” “I’m sorry, Chae, it’s still a no.” Her lips trembled hearing your rejection. You were so cruel! “When can I be discharged, Chae? I feel much better already.” You shuffled your legs around under the blanket. She gripped your hands tightly telling you that you didn’t have to worry about the hospital fees because her dad owned the hospital and you could stay for as long as you wanted, making you lose your temper and tug your hands away from her because why couldn’t she understand that you wanted to leave and live a normal life? She stared at your legs as if in a trance, mumbling something about you not being ready yet before dashing out the door.

The next few days, Chaeryeong would only visit you to give you your daily medication and then leave without a word. You wanted to ask her to stay with you longer because only she can make you happy and the days are so much longer now that she doesn’t spend it with you, but you wanted to give her space after the rejection. You also started feeling weaker and out of breath every time you talked for too long so you started to chat with the other patients less.

One day you woke up in an isolated room and a nurse informed you that your injuries had worsened and you needed special attention. But weren’t you just getting better? At one point all the nurses stopped coming to your room too and you were completely alone most of the time except when the same nurse would bring you food but refused to do or say anything else. Chaeryeong would only visit you at night and you had to fight the urge to sleep to catch a glimpse of her. Deep down, you knew that she had something to do with what happened to you recently but you were so lonely that you just wanted her back. You always asked her why she only visited at night but she just dodged the question and asked you if you’re sleepy because she couldn’t bring herself to lie to you, but she also couldn’t tell you she was tracking down all the people who were responsible for your accident so that she could kill each and every one of them for hurting you.

When you finally held onto her wrist one night and demanded to know what she had done she broke down and told you that she had no other choice but to drug you so would stay with her, kneeling beside your bed and telling you about her abusive father and her mother who left when she was four. She was just so lonely and you were her everything. When she realised that you went silent she got up and told you that she would give you time to think, making sure you saw the tears rolling down her face before leaving because she knew that you were soft and it would confuse you and make you pity her. By the time you realised the danger you were in and wanted to escape she had already hid your phone away and any other devices that could reach the outside world.

One night her ice-cold fingers woke you from your sleep and her face ghosted over yours in the dark as she mumbled something about a routine check. You tried to push her away weakly but she just used your lost momentum against you, pining you harder against the bed and insisted on performing some kind of checkup on you. You whimpered weakly as her fingers crept all over your body even though it didn’t hurt when she pressed just a little too hard on your wounds because she had dosed you with so much painkillers everyday and it didn’t even feel cold when she lifted your clothes up and licked all your bruises saying that it would help make them heal faster and called you her poor baby and told you all the bad things she had done to the people who hurt you. She panicked seeing your tears, apologising profusely saying it’s all over now and that she wouldn’t kill anyone if you’d just be good, making you cry louder.

You thought it was all over when she didn’t show up after that night for three days straight until she walked in with a dazed look on the fourth night, telling you that she did it. You were too afraid to ask her what she meant by it but it didn’t take long for her to clasp your hands in hers, telling you that she had finally taken her father’s life for you. You shook your head furiously, saying that it had nothing to do with you but she wasn’t listening to you anymore. “Don’t you see? I’m finally free from that monster. You gave me the courage to escape, my love. And now that his hospital is mine, I can extend your stay for as long as I want. Not that I need to do that anymore…” You hesitantly asked her what she meant and she caressed your legs slowly, which you realised couldn’t feel her touch anymore. “Your legs are paralysed forever. But don’t worry, I’ll take care of you until the day we die. You need me as much as I need you.”

'The first time I saw you, I was… well, for lack of a better word, amazed…'

You had been finishing a hike when you saw it.

A shooting star… well, a falling star really.

Falling rapidly, actually.

Fuck. It seemed like it was heading right for you, and you were just going to stand there making a wish like a fucking idiot?!

You were stuck.

You knew everyone died someday. You knew that you yourself would grow old and wither away as well. Or maybe die a bit prematurely from a cardiovascular disease or cancer—those are the leading causes of death globally after all. Hell, you wouldn’t even be surprised if you died in a car accident.

But a shooting star pummeling you into the ground? That hadn’t been on your ‘Ways I Might Die’ list.

“Fuck!” You screeched, dropping down to the ground as the object flew over you and crashed into the ground a few meters away.

You rolled over from your belly and flopped onto your back, breathing heavily to prevent the panic attack rising in your chest.

Smoke trailed where you had just been standing.

The—not really—shooting star would’ve for sure decapitated you.

You heard mechanics whirring and sat up, peering over to the cloud of dirt and smoke at the definitely not a shooting star.

It looked like a… car?

Like, kind of. But not really.

The metal hunk was car-sized and car-shaped but sleeker and with no tires. Where you would expect wheels was the glow that had given it the appearance of a star.

Or maybe a comet, if you thought hard enough about your science class days.

The glow was green and dying out as the whirring died down with it. The metal of the… UFO… creaked, and you heard the sound of pressurized air escaping. A door on the side swung upwards, very SLS AMG-style.

You stared, amazed, as a woman stepped out.

She was beautiful… otherworldly… terrifying.

“I apologize, human. I lost control of my aircraft.” She stated, very factually and less sympathetic than you would normally receive during an apology. “Have you been injured in any way?”

You couldn’t find words to answer her so you simply shook your head.

“Ah, good, you understand me. Do you also speak, human?”

Again, you just nodded. You were sure you looked like an idiot, with your eyes so wide you could feel them drying out and your mouth hanging open slightly. You definitely looked like the kind of stupid person who would die from a totally preventable accident.

Like a not-shooting-star crashing into you on an open hiking trail… at night… alone.

Or being murdered by a hot, albeit creepy, woman who came out of an alien spaceship on said hiking trail alone at night.

Her head tilted curiously as she observed you. You claimed to speak but continued to use no words. “Odd human.” She spoke. “Still, I require your assistance. My craft was hit by several asteroids in your planetary systems’ belt and thus fell into the gravitational pull of your homeworld. As such, it is your responsibility to host me until I can fix my vehicle.”

“Me?” You whispered.

She nodded, a smile upturning her purple lips ever so slightly. “Yes. You are the only one around, are you not?”

You shook your head rapidly, “Yes, but I mean… Shouldn’t you be asking me to take you to my leader or something?” “I have no use for your planet’s leader. I simply require shelter.” The smile dropped from her lips. You had to stop staring at her lips. Even if they were pretty and purple and kissable. “You will help me, human.”

Slowly, you nodded once more, the threat in her tone was subtle but clear. She moved closer, holding out a hand to help you stand.

“You may address me as Ryujin. How may I address you? Or is human sufficient?”

“Oh um… You can call me Y/N.”

'It wasn’t hard to get to know you. You seemed so up front about where you came from, your life and interests, and even your feelings for me…'

Ryujin was, surprisingly, easy to talk to… once you did some serious compartmentalizing and deluding about a spaceship nearly brutally beheading you and a beautiful alien somewhat forcing you to let her sleep on your sofa bed.

Either way, she looked human enough… if you ignored the permanently purple lips and faraway, yet calculative, gaze she constantly held.

She answered all of your questions and was actually rather excitable and cute when you would ask her about her home and interests. She loved telling you about her pets back home, Byul and Dal, in particular.

“You know…” Ryujin hummed, “I think I like you, Y/N.”

You choked on your food, and she sat back in her seat, observing you—as she often did—while you continued to cough and sputter.

Ryujin had only lived with you for roughly two or three weeks at that point. The repairs on her aircraft had been slow, as she had casually explained that it was hard to get the right kind of materials for such advanced technology. You weren’t sure how her ship worked so you couldn’t exactly refute her claims.

She had also made the point that this wasn’t her planet and being so unfamiliar with the area made her vulnerable to go anywhere alone. Because of this, she insisted that you needed to go with her whenever she left your apartment. That also made progress slow since you had to work during the days and had even begun picking up a few more hours to help cover the cost of feeding an extra mouth. She didn’t love that you weren’t around for the majority of the weekdays, but she said she understood.

When you were free, you would spend the day showing Ryujin around the city. You explained about different types of businesses and shops, trying to help her in any way you could think to find somewhere that would have the parts she needed… or at least something that could substitute.

It was lucky for you that none of your friends had reached out the past few weeks either. It was odd… since you usually met up at least once a week for coffee or a meal or even drinks… but it was lucky. Really, how would you explain Ryujin’s sudden appearance in your life, and her confusion over particularly mundane things? No, it was definitely simpler that it was just the two of you trying to navigate this situation.

'You made it easy to fall for you. I don’t want to say no one had ever shown me interest before, but no one showed it quite like you did…'

“Tell me you feel the same.” Ryujin whispered. The back of her hand stroked your cheek, and your eyes fluttered closed.

A smile lifted the corners of your lips, “Yes, I’m falling for you too…”

Her lips broke into a smile, wide and striking white against purple. “I knew you would.”

Ryujin had confessed to you about three months into her stay on Earth, and though it was fast, you couldn’t help but feel the same.

Something about her was so captivating and magnetic.

She pulled you in, and you didn’t want to be let go. She was comforting and warm to you, even if she looked so coldly at others. She listened and let you lean on her. She was like a life raft when you felt like you were drowning in anxieties.

Ryujin just made life easier. She made it better…

When you came home from work one evening and sobbed because of how your boss had berated you and how you felt like he might be right, she was right there with a shoulder to cry on and a comforting hand rubbing your back. Her sweet words, whispered in your ear, were about all your positive qualities.

And if you didn’t notice how your boss flinched whenever you looked in his direction the next day, it was for the best.

When the two of you went out for lunch one weekend and a clumsy waiter accidently spilled the table over’s meal on your new white dress, she was quick to pass her blazer to you so that you could clean and cover up the transparent fabric.

And if you didn’t see how Ryujin dumped her own food onto the waiter when you rushed off to the restroom while he was attempting to clean the floor, it was for the best.

When you worked late one night and just as you reached your walk-up apartment door someone tried to rob you, she was there in the blink of an eye, knocking the absolute shit out of the guy and pouncing on him. She had straddled him, fists raining down on his face, and it took all your strength to pull her off of him, scolding her that assaulting someone is something you can’t just do on Earth and that it could’ve been greatly unsafe for her.

And if you didn’t see her bright smile when the robber’s nose cracked and he staggered to stand with blood being coughed up, it was for the best.

When your ex sent you a long text, begging for a second chance and explaining what had gone wrong before and how much he missed you, you ranted to Ryujin about how he was just a little too late. You expressed your confusion to her because you hadn’t really ended on bad terms, but you didn’t really feel that way for him anymore, even if you still had some of your favorite memories with him. She listened patiently, reassuring you that it was okay to move on and turn him down.

And if you didn’t think too hard about it how a few days later when you tried to call him back and received a message that the number was no longer in service, it was for the best.

Everything was just easier with Ryujin around. She made it… the best.

'But, unfortunately, I found that our… interests… didn’t always line up. Of course, couples can have their differences, but our differences are too much for me to handle…'

“I swear, they need to do something about the smell.” Your neighbor complained, while you two loitered near the mailboxes.

You hummed in agreement. Over the past couple weeks, the main floor had started to smell… Like really smell. You had to sympathize with your neighbor. Since she lived on the first floor, the smell would’ve been stronger for her. You considered yourself lucky that on the third floor the stench only reached you occasionally through the air ducts.

Your neighbor continued, “It has to be coming from the basement.” She shook her head and added conspiratorially, “Smells like something died. And I swear to you, I saw a maggot crawling out of my floor vents.”

You paused at her conviction that something sinister was hiding in the basement. Glancing in the direction of the downstairs door, you hesitated while your neighbor headed back into her own apartment.

What she said didn’t sit right. Something in your brain worried you. Could it just be your general anxiety? It wouldn’t hurt to check right?

You headed down the stairs.

Fuck. You shouldn’t have gone downstairs. You should’ve minded your business. Your neighbor should’ve kept her mouth shut.

There were bodies.

So. many. bodies.

The first one you noticed was your ex… His number had been disconnected. After you had talked to Ryujin. Fuck…

Then you saw that guy who tried to rob you, with a still broken nose and missing tooth, and… was that the waiter who spilled food on you? Fuck, fuck…

Your boss was there too. You thought he had been on a vacation that week… Fuck, fuck, FUCK.

There were others too. Just bodies. Corpses.

Some fresher than others. Maggots and swarms of flies and… bodies.

You almost vomited.

If you hadn’t felt paralyzed, you probably would’ve.

You couldn’t scream.

You needed to get out of there.

You needed to… get away.

'I’m sorry, Ryujin. I had fun with you. I liked you… I really did. But, I think it’s for the best if we end whatever it was that we had. You need to go back to your home anyway, right? We should leave things on a good note and go our separate ways now.'

Of course she was, she was a fucking alien.

She had literally crashed onto your planet and told you that you were going to shelter her, and you had deluded yourself that you would be safe because what… she was pretty?

You believed she was sweet and innocent because she talked about her family and friends and pets back home so lovingly.

But you didn’t really know anything.

She had been killing people.

And you couldn’t even be sure of why.

Was she fully carnivorous? Did she eat humans?

No… There was no obvious sign that she had been… consuming them? So what?

You thought hard.

So many of them were a part of your life somehow. Had she done that… for you?

You couldn’t do this. You couldn’t be around her.

You were afraid.

If you tried to just end things… Would she kill you too?

Write a letter.

Yeah, that felt safe, you’d write a letter and leave it for her when you went to work. You wouldn’t come back. You’d leave right after, head somewhere else. Somewhere safe.

You’d be okay…

Except you weren’t.

You’d left the letter; she’d been asleep on the sofa bed still.

She looked so peaceful. So innocent.

You’d left the letter on the side table; you’d taken a bag with you.

She found you as you left work.

You’d never told her where you worked. You’d never showed her the building or what floor your office was on.

She was standing in the door to the office.

Everyone else had left.

You were alone.

You were afraid.

“I apologize, Y/N. However, I cannot let you leave me.” A slow smile split Ryujin’s lips as she peered at you. Before, you had loved that smile; now, you were so, so afraid.

Your eyes trailed from her sadistic smile to the letter in her hands. Your letter.

Fuck.

You were supposed to be long gone.

“I just love you too much to ever let you go.”

Synopsis: Nishimura Yn and Seo Changbin; everyone knew about their hate for each other so it was a surprise for everyone seeing them leave the same room in a messed up state. It was even more surprising seeing Yn leaving South Korea for Japan one month after that but no one (expect people close to her) knew why: that night she got pregnant with Changbin’s son. But know, four years later she’s back in her hometown for University and with a son to take care of meeting a really changed Changbin wasn’t in her plans.

Y/n sighed as she burried her face into Seonghwa's chest. He was leaving. Again. He always did. "Why do you have to leave," she pouted, looking up at her handsome boyfriend.

"I told you darling, it's just work," he sighed. "I know I've been so busy lately. I'm sorry. But I promise, I'll try to make more time for you and me, okay?" He smiled, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing the crown of her head. "I love you."

"I love you too," she looked up at him and pecked his lips before he got up off the comfortable sofa to leave. Before he turned the door knob, he made a finger heart at Y/n and smiled.

Then he left. And no matter how many times he did, it still hurt. She wrapped a warm blanket around herself, replacing Seonghwa's body heat. At least he always kept his promise and came back. But why wouldn't he tell her where he was going? Why couldn't she know?

"There he is," Hongjoong smiled as Seonghwa, his second in command walked in. "Got a reason for being late?" He laughed, as if he really cared.

"Y/n, same as always," he smiled to himself.

"It is interesting to me. A cold-blooded killer like you, willing to give your life up for a simple girl," Hongjoong twirled a dagger in his hands as he went on. "Brave enough to lie to her, day after day, for her own 'safety and protection' as you claim."

"Y/n is the most important person in my life. I could never tell her about this," Seonghwa argued.

"You'd think someone as in love as you are would be honest with their partner. Y/n trusts you with her life. There's no telling how she would react, finding out you're a killer of innocents," he laughed. "She might think you'd kill her and proceed to run away from you."

"She knows I'd never kill her," Seonghwa stated. "Look Joong, I considered telling her the day I asked her to be mine. But so much could go wrong. Our enemies would use her to their advantage, and capture her for information. I couldn't ever put her in danger like that. What kind of boyfriend would that make me?"

"An honest one?" Hongjoong raised an eyebrow. "You could just protect her from everything you're afraid will hurt her. And you can't keep her out of this forever you know. She's going to figure it out sooner rather than later. You said it yourself. She's the kindest, prettiest, and most importantly, smartest person you know. Right?"

”Right, I suppose. I just need time,” Seonghwa sat down on the sofa, hand coming to hold his head.

”Alright.”

Y/n sighed in boredom as she hung upside down off of her sofa, letting the blood rush to her head. She sat up, propping herself up on her arms. She decided to text her best friend: Lia.

Y/n: Lia~

Lia: Y/n~

Y/n: Should I try and confront Seonghwa about his secretive work things

Lia: Idk why

Y/n: I have a bad feeling, I can’t really explain it

Lia: I mean, it makes sense that you’d feel that way. If my boyfriend was always leaving and didn’t say where he was going, I’d definitely do it.

Y/n: Yeah… I’m just scared tho

Lia: Why-

Y/n: What if he’s like- super annoyed with me and thinks I’m crazy for doubting him

Lia: Y/n if this is bothering you that much, you really should just talk about it. Nothing is going to get better if you stuff it down and try to forget about it.

Y/n: You’re right I guess

Lia: As always ;)

Y/n: Goodnight

Lia: Gn

She threw her phone onto the sofa and covered her face with a blanket. She really was conflicted.

Seonghwa got home in the middle of night that night. He quietly opened and closed the door, as to not wake Y/n. But she was already awake. And, she was sitting at the kitchen, waiting for him.

“Hey Hwa,” she deadpanned, hands folded.

”Y/n, what’re you doing up so late?” He laughed, going over to stand on the opposite side of the counter, looking at her.

“I’m going to ask you a question. And I’m not taking a question for an answer. I want the truth,” she explained.

“Go ahead,” he raised an eyebrow, being way too chill, considering the circumstances.

”Where do you go every night?” She asked simply. There was no other way to say it, and nothing else needed to be said.

“Oh, so this is what it’s about,” he smirked, confusing Y/n. He leaned on the counter with his arms crossed, nearing her. “If you want the truth, you’ll have to promise me not to scream.”

Her heart dropped at his words. “Okay,” she answered simply, gulping down hard.

”I’m a member of Ateez, the mafia gang.”

She abruptly stood, her hands on the counter. “W-what?” She asked, sounding a bit weaker than she wanted to.

”You heard me,” he scoffed.

She was confused, and scared. He wasn’t acting like the Seonghwa she knew. “You… kill… innocent people?” She didn’t know how else to put it.

”When I have to,” he shrugged. “But, let’s just keep this secret between and I, huh? Nobody else needs to know,” he said as he walked around the counter. “And you might get yourself into some trouble if you tell,” he said, lifting her chin up with his finger.

She looked at him with angry tears building up. “No!” She shouted, pushing away from him, but he grasped her wrist. “Let go of me!”

”Oh darling, I’m not going to hurt you,” he cooed with a sickeningly sweet smile. One that she had grown to love.

”You monster!” She writhed in his grip, but he wouldn’t let her go.

He held her tight in his embrace and whispered into her ear, “The monster you love,” before injecting something into her arm. She let out a pained gasp before blacking out.

Y/n opened her eyes to see she was in a luxurious bedroom in a mansion. She shot up from the bed, glancing at her black pajama set she didn’t remember changing into. “Seonghwa,” she thought, angered.

”You’re awake,” a voice said.

”Who said that?” She raised an eyebrow, ready to expect.

”Relax, I’m a friend of Seonghwa,” said the man, as he walked into the room. “He wanted me to tell you that he’s busy today, but he’ll come back when he can.”

”Where am I? Who are you? Where’s Seonghwa?” She asked.

”So many questions,” he sighed. “You’re in Seonghwa’s mansion, I’m Yunho, and Seonghwa is on a mission.”

She blinked twice before looking at her hands. “Can you just get me out of here? I won’t tell anyone I saw you.”

”I’m afraid I can’t do that. Courtesy of Hongjoong,” he sighed, although he felt terrible for the girl, getting involved with them.

”Please?” She begged. “I’m afraid of Seonghwa. I need to get away from him. There’s no telling what he’ll do to me,” she said, teary eyed.

Yunho sighed before looking to his right and left. “Alright. But stick close. There are six other members here and if they catch me sneaking you out, we’re both dead,” he warned. “And here,” he said, throwing a jacket at her. “It’s cold outside.”

She nodded and wore the jacket around her. She then quickly got out of bed, following Yunho. But unfortunately, there were on the eighth floor.

They snuck down the first three floors no problem. On the fourth, they were nearly sighted by Yeosang. “In here!” He whisper-shouted, grabbing her arm and dragging her into a room. Thankfully, Yeosang passed without further compromise.

The next three floors were a breeze. But on the second floor, Hongjoong spotted them. “What’re you two doing?!” He seethed.

”Hongjoong please, hear me out,” Yunho begged.

“Alright.”

”This is Y/n, Seonghwa’s ex-girlfriend. She got dragged into this by him, it wasn’t her fault. She said she won’t tell anyone, and I can tell she won’t. She’d just get herself more involved. And after what Seonghwa did to her, she wants nothing to do with this place,” Yunho explained.

Hongjoong, surprisingly, seemed convinced. “You know I’m risking a lot if I let you go,” he looked at Y/n.

”I know,” she replied. “I just can’t face him again.”

Hongjoong sighed. “Fine. Yunho, back to your post. I’ll escort her out.”

Yunho nodded before leaving.

“Come on,” Hongjoong tilted his head, leading her to the first floor. Nobody would be suspicious now that Hongjoong was with her. Mingi and San even saw her and said nothing. He led her to the back door. “Can you walk somewhere safe from here?”

”Yes, my friend’s apartment is just a couple blocks down, and I have the key,” she answered.

”Perfect,” he smiled. “I’m sorry about Seonghwa. I wish you the best moving forward.”

”I owe you Hongjoong,” she smiled back before adjusting the jacket that Yunho gave her around her shoulders.

She started on her way to her Lia’s apartment. But Seonghwa also knew the way to that place as well. And when he couldn’t find Y/n in his mansion, he was beyond angry. He couldn’t get any information from his members, since they were on your side in this situation. So he took matters into his own hands, realizing Lia lived nearby. He got into his car and drove that way.

”Y/n?” Lia opened her door. “What’re you doing here?”

“Questions later please,” she said, pushing her way inside and closing the door, her heart pounding.

”What-“ Lia paused when she saw a black car recklessly pull up to the parking lot of the building. “Y/n what the hell is going on?!”

”Seonghwa. He’s after me. Call the police.”

Lia immediately did so as she and Y/n locked themselves in Lia’s bathroom.

“Y/n darling, I know you’re in there! Let’s just talk it out! Like we always used to do.”

Yeah, used to.

Y/n held Lia tightly when she heard that Seonghwa broke the door down and made his way to the bathroom door.

”Leave us alone! We’re done!” She shouted.

“Done? After two years of working at our relationship? Don’t be delusional Y/n.”

”You’re the delusional one!”

“Delusional? No darling. Just crazy for you.”

And that’s exactly what she was afraid of.

➸ʚ Plot ɞ : Several people are chosen to be in a game of "serial killer" which telecasts all over the world . 14 people Vs 1 killer . The people are unknown to who the killer is . You could think what can go wrong ? The path where the killer has to kill to win . If the people find out who the killer is , they win . Winners will get 1 billion won each . To confirm the killer , they will have a meeting and a voting will be held . The killer cannot kill after the meeting has been declared till the meeting day is over . If you vote out the wrong person , they'll be eliminated . Will money be the end of thier lives ? Will money be the cause of friendships ending ? Will the need of money cause betrayal and pain ?

The students were minding their own business when a staff entered the room to make an announcement . "The director has called everyone in this room to his office right now " he left the dumfounded teacher and kids who were wondering if they fucked up something . The 'class press' group was just doing a project together for thier council while the basketball team had to attend detention to complete their notes . Y/n and nikis's group were in detention for not doing thier homework while winter and yuna were there for some lame prank they did on the professor thinking it was funny . Good for yuna because she had left early due to some family stuff leaving winter alone who was trying her best to flirt with Jake while he was concentrating on physics . They all looked at the teacher as if to confirm whether this was real or some prank but she didn't know either so she told everyone to go to his office and come back quickly if it was a joke . She warned them that she will talk about this to the director so if they bunk this detention , they'll get less grades in thier finals . When everyone was walking Niki came beside y/n and hung an arm around her shoulder "what can it be ? I did nothing wrong and looking at your face I know you didn't as well" Sana and Chareoyoung were busy giggling about thier new crush so you stayed at the back with Niki . You leaned into him lazily and stated "I think it's about some trip or university function ." "Ahh that makes sense" you both chuckled and entered the office where you saw everyone taking a seat . You sat beside your friends while Niki sat beside his . You saw how there were 18 chairs in total . Two on the either ends and 8 on the either sides . But nonetheless 3 of the chairs were empty , well one belongs to the director who was yet to come . After everyone settled down the director came in . Everybody stood up to greet him a good afternoon which wasn't so good . It was a couple of minutes spent in silence . No one daring to talk while the director had a file with him while he would take glances at every person now and then .

" I don't think we should join guys " Chareoyoung said . You were all in a empty class as you were called after the classes had ended and everyone went to their houses , a place that can't be called home for them . You were very hesitant about it but your answer was mostly no . "Ugh shut up , I think we should . It's a great deal" said winter rolling her eyes and standing before going to sit beside Heeseung who instantly stood up when she did . He sat beside taehyun leaving winter alone there who was embarrassed but still kept her attitude . "I don't think so , he seems so sketchy plus he was never a good man . I sometimes think if he is actually insane , it's probably something sick ." Said Jake . "We have 5 days so let's discuss it tomorrow at detention , it's pretty late now." Said beomgyu taking his bag "are you perhaps scared ?" Mocked Sunghoon blocking his way to which he earned a death glare but he wasn't going to back up . "You wouldn't want me to show you how brave I am park" said beomgy glaring at him before bumping into is shoulders hard and leaving . "I thought someone would definitely true hands " said Chareoyoung standing up so she can leave too . "Think about it calmly , okay everyone? And even tho it's a to-be said thing don't let anyone know about this " said Sunoo while leaving with jungwon . You and Niki went home and that day none of the students were able to sleep . Boy this is going to be a long ride .

"so umm why are we called here again ?" Asked sunoo to the man sitting in the very end of the long table . All the people present there could feel a odd aura from him . Not that they never felt it before but today being called by him and him just staring at them silently for endless minutes with that sick smile made it more odd . Even if they were curious , nobody wanted to actually stay in that room with their one and only pyschotic director Hwang . He finally spoke up which caused many students to frown " you all are called here because I have some offer for you " . Heeseung asked "and what might that be?" . Hwang started again "I want you all to participate in a TV programe , and offc you will get paid" everyone was now confused , 'that couldn't be it' was going on in all of thier minds . "And why are we the only ones called instead of you asking in all classes that who are interested ?" Asked jay . 'good point park' everyone thought silently . 'tch brats , it's because the earlier batch denied already' hwang said inside in mind but kept a smile and rose up from his seat . "It's because I find you all the best people for this show , if you remember I keep an eye on every student . That's why I haven't called a particular friend group or asked in all classes . Hope that clears all your questions " you narrowed your eyes "what makes you think we will agree ?" 'so annoying kids these days' "your getting money , extra internal marks for this and you'll be aired on international TV . What do you say ?" It was a pretty convincing deal but you weren't going to fall in his plan . You know something is off and you can't be the only one . But his next question made you have second thoughts "and after this show , everyone will be given a particular dorm in a building where only you can enter and only you can live . Your parents and siblings won't be allowed and they will be informed by the school . How's the deal " winter squealed trying to cling to beomgyu "I agree , that's basically everything we've ever wanted " beomgyu rolled his eyes standing up , shrugging winter off in the process " I'll let you know in a few days " hwang said " you all are only getting 5 days to decide and if you don't answer , we will take that as a no and your grade will drop 5% due to ignoring the offer Instead of staright up telling your answer . Everyone has to come at this office room after 5 days at the same time as today . You may all leave " as everyone stood up , you saw hwang mouthing something to someone but when you turned to see who it was , you heard Sana call you . You eyed the room one last time while leaving with your friends and everyone . " So staying away from parents was all it needed to have thier attention huh" laughed hwang before he stood up and walked towards his special office to make more plans about the show . Well it should be grand , shouldn't it ?
