and can we talk about how everyone was running from Tae this chapter? ahahaahah I died. Elena was the only one hanging with him!!! even Freya was like omg my twin is too much ahahahahahaha

What if Miss Bellum is the one?! I bet on her or Bambam. Because picture this: Miss Bellum was with Jimin the whole time apparently (ew.) and we all know Jimin is a lose mouth (well I'm assuming) so I don't know... Maybe I just don't trust the woman. But for Bambam it actually makes sense. He did do that thing with Jk and then when the fight started between Jimin and Archie he was the one inciting the whole thing... And Tzuyu is from his gang, that was written so.

Apart from that, the writting was ten out of ten. The fights were amazing!!! And I really wish we could get a tv series out of this because I pictured the whole school and it seems DREAMYYYYY! I can't stop myself from imagining cute dates between them... And the girls running away from Horus? Omg. They for sure know all the cool spots there, as confirmed by our queen Kaya.

I just loved this chapter too much! Made me want to go back to school myself ahaha didn't you feel that? That scene where they are all dozing off and then someone picks up their phone is just a throw back to my days in school. It was really nice!

Story: Later in the Secret Song Series Characters: JK x Sasha Words: 1467 CW: some language? nothing else

SPOILER NOTE!!!: Hey! This includes several spoilers/teases for later in the series, so if you don’t want any spoilers, don’t read 😉

Jungkook came up behind Sasha in the kitchen, hands sliding around her hips, thumbs dipping into the front of her shorts. He hummed to the music playing over the speakers and dropped his chin to her shoulder, pulling her body side to side with his.

“I missed you,” he murmured.

“Mm-hm. Missed you too.”

“I missed you a lot.”

“I missed you a lot too,” she returned.

“Ah… I missed you so much I…” Her eyes narrowed at the energy lacing through his voice. It didn’t sound like a horny greeting right before he dragged her to bed after she’d been away all weekend. She turned in his arms, biting the end off a Pocky.

“Confess,” she ordered. “Why are you being sus?”

“Ah… wo…. You see, I made a decision while you were away.”

“Mm-hm.” She glanced to the side as another one of his decisions reared up to see what was good and potentially edible on the counter. Only a word from Jungkook sent the pup scurrying from the kitchen. “What decision did you make?”

As she said it, his squeaky outfit drew her attention. The leather jacket wasn’t anything unusual, he had plenty of those. His hair plastered to his face and neck wasn’t surprising either, if he’d been wearing a hat. But he was wearing the puffy, padded pants he didn’t have any use for here, and there were gloves on the counter behind him.

And a helmet.

“Well-uh…”

“What did you do?” she asked more pointedly.

“Ok come see,” he grinned, grabbing her hand.

“See what? You didn’t tell me anything!”

“You know,” he argued. And she did. She’d be stupid not to put the clues together. She had suspected this would happen ever since he’d got his license and it was her fault he’d got his license anyway.

She had to stop his dragging her along to put her shoes on by the door.

“Do I need pants?”

“If you want to go for a ride.”

“Jungkook,” she sighed, conflicted. “You said not in Seoul…”

Immediately his smile wavered and he gestured and sighed and turned away from her, clearly having expected this response.

“Yah, it’s safe.”

“It’s not though–”

“I’m careful. I’ll be careful.”

“You aren’t the problem, it’s all the asshole drivers who won’t notice you before they make a turn.”

“I am careful, Sasha. So so so so careful. You know me! You saw me ride!”

“Yeah on empty highways, not on busy Seoul streets.”

“Yeah, I won’t go so fast.”

She let out a slow, noisy sigh.

“Come on, bay-bee,” he teased, grabbing her hands and trying to get her to sway again. The music was distant in the background. “We had so much fun and now we can have fun here too. Don’t say no.”

“I can’t tell you no, it’s your own money and your own life–”

“I am careful!”

“I just care a lot about this life,” she said, catching his jacket. “A lot a lot.” He pulled her in closer and bumped his nose against hers, no kiss, just a head bump. A nose bump.

“I love you too. So no joy-riding without me.”

“That’s not going to happen!”

“I’ll buy you your own.”

“I don’t want one. I won’t even drive a car here, much less–”

“You can ride with me though. Hold on tight to my back. Hold me real close.” He was working her. It was so obvious, the way he dropped his voice, the way he swayed her side to side with a hand on her hip.

“Let’s not forget who taught whom how to ride.”

“Yeah you ride hard–”

“Don’t bite your lip at me!”

“But I ride careful. I promise. I like my life a lot too. Will ARMY still love me if I break my face? I don’t think so…”

“Exactly. Wouldn’t want to disappoint your fans!”

“They will think it’s hot I have a bike now.”

“Good, they can ride in the bitch seat with you then and I’ll stay here to take care of your fur babies–”

“Don’t be jealous,” he snickered. “I want you to ride me. I mean to ride with me.”

“Mm-hm.” She pouted her lips out but was not actually jealous, and not actually mad, even if it did genuinely scare her. She knew he was careful. He was the most careful driver of anything she’d ever met, and he’d been so careful on the bike before. But still.

He began to kiss her face, first a peck on the cheek, then the forehead, then between her eyebrows, then on her eyes, then all along her lips until she complained and batted him away.

“Do you promise you will be so slow and careful and uncool?”

“Yeah yeah I ride a bike like I’m uncool,” he readily agreed. “I promise.”

What could she say? It looked like he was asking for her approval but his life wasn’t hers to control. It scared her. So many things scared her. But he deserved to take the risks he wanted to chase his happiness and she didn’t want to hold him back. Sure she wished he had told her before he bought himself a bike but she wouldn’t have said or done anything differently.

“You know you don’t have to act first ask permission later,” she teased. “I’m not your boss.”

“I thought maybe you would be happier if you remembered how hot I look on a bike.”

She laughed and slapped at his ass but he was too padded.

“Well that’s disappointing.”

“Yah, you can spank me later, let’s go for a ride.”

“Right now?”

“Yeah. No one knows I have a bike yet. No one will notice you riding with me.”

“I don’t have gear.”

“Ah…” He grinned and shoulder-shimmied, beyond proud of himself. “Yeah you’re going to be really hot. I bought it. It’s in the bedroom. I was going to show you the bike first but ah… let’s go for a ride right now. Can we?”

“Right now? I’m hungry.”

“We can go get bing-su.”

She pursed her lips. She did want bing-su. And she wanted to ride with him before the media and fans recognized him, after which she wouldn’t be able to anymore. And she wanted to see for herself that he was going to be safe. And she wanted to look into the future and know he was always going to be safe.

“Fine, if the pads fit, I’ll ride with you. What did you get? Another Yamaha or a Kawasaki?”

“A Harley.”

“Of course, bad boy. All right. Show me your new baby. But I swear to god if you ever ride without gear–”

“I know, I know. Who will kill me first, you? ARMY? Hyungs? The company? Eomma? Eh, I think Eomma, but you’ll be second.”

“We’ll work together.”

“Ah, bonding!”

She laughed and punched him in the arm and bounced on her feet with jittery nerves as he took her to gear up. He’d clearly planned the whole thing to have the best chance of her approval.

They bundled up like marshmallows, like tea cups in bubble wrap, every inch covered in protective gear as Jungkook snickered to himself Safety first, safety first, an inside joke she was passingly familiar with by now. She oohed and ahed over his purchase and did not ask how much it had cost, instead focused on the joyful sparkle in his eyes as he showed it off.

this is just my own way of pushing the soulmate agenda in ghoul au, but the way for ghouls to mate with their own soulmate is for them to offer a piece of their meat and blood. for human and human bond, it’s just physical touch for a certain period of time for them to be bonded.

I’ve been thinking about your last answers about tbah and ira and jk if he really loves oc and of course that i can’t stop overanalyzing so here’s a piece of my mind that nobody asked for but yeah :’)

i don’t think jungkook is still in love with ira but of course that she still affects him and that’s why maybe "glimpse of us" could relate to this story, not because he’s using oc as a rebound but because ira was someone important for him and you can’t avoid the impact that people left in your life and you can keep suffering for someone's betray while you're with someone else (not ideal but it happens).

i believe his feelings for oc are there, they exist they’re real but everything is so recent that i feel he needs to take a break. ofc that u’re gonna do whatever u want with your story and i’m gonna love what u decide because u make everything pretty and real and angsty lmao....... but now that we don’t know what’s gonna happen i'm gonna say what i think would be best heh ( in my opinion ofc i'm NOT telling u what u have to write please i would never lol i cant even write what i dream this is just me rambling),i feel like a break or time away from oc, (be it because he asked her for a time apart or because they have a fight :( cause of jk’s parents or his insecurities starts to get the best of him or… ira comes back) would be genuinely good for him. to fully grieve for ira and finally let her go and to have the space to think if he wants to fight for oc and become a family or if he’s just not ready. not only because doing this is gonna give him peace but because oc doesn’t deserve being given empty promises or get hurt in what I think is jungkook responsibilities that are his feelings.

What's happening?! Why everyones behaving weird and sus and idk it's really muddling especially Jungkook, Yoongi and Taehyung. Why Jungkook is hiding almost everything about his relationship with Sora. It seems like Jungkook already knows something about Sora and he's like forced to not disclose those to others. Why protecting her from her wrong doings? (Even Jungkook was worried about why oc was doing at the Mall, whereas Sora was cheating on him with someone unknown. Just like "Club thing" oc mentioned). Above all, his breakup with Sora was his best day ever and yoongi points out that too. Still Jungkook whispered something and burst out laughing. What all these mean?

And there is Yoongi, who knows alot about Jungkook and his next moves. But he's not willing to share Jungkooks secrets with oc and evade further misunderstanding. Instead Yoongi is kept hiding things from oc. (Here Yoongi might know what exact deal with Jungkook and Sora, but still clearly mentioned so can't make assumptions furthermore).

And Taehyung, he is really sus here. What is his real deal with Deiji? He had all 7days text back oc but no he was busy spending time with Deiji. And when oc caught him and Deiji together, he was desperate to talk things out and clarify everything, why? Is he working for Yang too? What if Deiji is his fiancée? Idk it's just me or not, but I noticed one thing that, Taehyung didn't put effort in inviting oc to the Charity event until his mother voiced it out. BUT he was really BUSY discussing the same matter with Deiji. Whoaaa....I'm literally loading my brain with overthinking. 🤯🤯🤯

And last but certainly not least, Junho. The paintings of his says the tattooed guy is Jungkook that's what everyone's assuming but you never know, it can be anyone who's with tattooed arm just like Jungkook. It might be the UNKNOWN who was with Sora. It is kinda clear that Sora was behind this shitty attempt to destroy that poor little soul. Like we don't know what is Junho actually seeing while painting. I think it's time, either oc or Jungkook dig out the truth straight from Junho instead of blaming each other and meanwhile letting Junho's condition worsen even more.

This was a comment I wrote to a friend back when the-game-that-must-not-be-named released. They shared some very openly misinformed outrage about the “antisemitic” stuff in the game. It said goblin nose sizes depend on how evil the goblin is, and all sorts of ridiculousness about the goblins trying to kidnap children. Honestly, the post sounded more like an antisemitic conspiracy theory, especially since I played the game and none of it was remotely true.

However, on Reddit and Twitch, trolls and bullies were getting particularly terrible to the point of spamming random folks who had subbed or chatted about the game. I’m not even sure if they were legit protesting and or if they were just being terrible because they felt it was fine, but it’s not fine to harass folks and call them transphobes (and all sorts of obscenities) just for playing a game. So I was worried to post anything, but I can’t turn off my correction-sense when something so crazy is out there with folks massively sharing it as if it were fact.

Wow, this person did not actually play the game, and it’s really sad that so many folks sharing these things haven’t played the game to judge it for themselves, and those who have are too scared to say anything or else be bullied by those sharing these things. But hey, if folks want to bully me, have at it. Just remember a lot of folks with PTSD and other conditions used the Wizarding World as their safe mental space for decades before JK became problematic, and all those traumatized folks aren’t about to nuke their safety paracosms because JK has gone all Lovecraft. Some might have been able to find something else to dive into, but nobody should be thought policing how someone else should deal with their trauma. Let’s be real. Most fantasy worlds were initially created by misogynists (and worse). While it feels uncomfortable to go back and reread Xanth or Wheel of Time, a lot of folks loved those worlds — enough to make a series of the latter that is significantly less sexist. But here’s my actual rebuttal.

Noses have nothing to do with anything. In fact, the goblins are mostly based on the exact same asset with minor facial variation, much like the generic extra students. Honestly, the facial mapping is rough in general. The bankers aren’t at all involved in Ranrok’s extremism — in fact one banker is killed by Ranrok in the prologue trying to stop him from stealing from the bank. Ranrok gets quite a bit of story, which is sadly more substantial than most characters in the game. If you want to criticize the game for a very weak storyline in general, that’s totally legit. The dark magic side story about a boy trying to heal his sister (and going dark in the process) is actually more compelling than the entire main quest. There are equal factions enemy goblins and wizards with an alliance, but they actually have a motivation. Both factions are led by descendants or followers of the original folks who helped lock away the Ancient Magic™️ (several wizards and a goblin were involved) and now the factions want the magical nuke-power for themselves for their various (and somewhat understandable) reasons and the main character is the only one in the last few centuries who can actually see the Ancient Magic™️. However, the game insists the correct way to deal with the situation is to seal the Ancient Magic™️ away so nobody has the nukes. So be prepared for an almost Twilight-level lack of anything substantial happening. But there is a boss fight rather than a strange psyche-out and there’s no creepy imprinting or whatever, so marginally better than Twilight. I’m not seeing the raging antisemitism this post is talking about. There is bigotry toward non-wizards, yes. That was still a problem in the books 100 years after the game takes place, so one wouldn’t expect to make a substantial change in the late 1800s when house elf rights didn’t get a big boost until Hermione’s efforts in the late 1900s. Honestly, most of the fights are with spiders (which is why there’s an arachnophobia mod that is particularly popular).

If you want a fun quirky Austen movie, Northanger Abbey is RIGHT there.

So not only did they not acknowledge what’s an issue, why it’s an issue - they basically said that your pain is not equal to someone else’s wish for a HP palette. And then said that they’re going to try to ethically offset the harm JKR will cause by making donations (but not volunteering an amount). Which PS - you can’t do that.

Also: ignoring that suicide is a major issue for Trans youth while doing this is incredibly shitty.

TL;DR - ColorPop is releasing a HP line and lost me as a customer.

INTRODUCTION

The goal of this guide is to chronologically map the major plot points of BTS Universe (BU), a fictional transmedia narrative centered on the lives of seven young men who share names with the members portraying them. The complexity of the timeline is magnified by the time loops that begin and reset on 11 April Year 22, so careful attention will be given to tracing how the loops diverge from one another after that date. The guide will be published over multiple posts.

Most of the information in the timeline is drawn from the official English-version publications of The Notes: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life 1 and The Notes: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life 2 (hereafter shortened to Notes 1 and Notes 2). Other resources are referenced as necessary, including the Notes released with certain physical albums, the Save Me webtoon, the official BU content in the BTS Universe Story mobile game, and BU music videos/short films. Summaries from the album Notes are based on translations by twitter user @/origamifirefly. Character names are abbreviated in parentheses next to the print sources to indicate the perspective from which the original entries are written.

Dates are presented as they appear in the texts. The single or double-digit year number most likely corresponds with SeokJin’s age rather than a calendar year. (In Korea’s age-calculating system, everyone’s age increases by one year on January 1st regardless of when their birthday falls in the calendar.) There are enough clues scattered throughout the text to suggest that the characters’ ages reflect the real-life age differences of the members. For example, JungKook is five years younger than SeokJin; they overlap in high school because SeokJin is held back a grade after returning from the American school system. Ages that are explicitly stated in official sources will be included in the timeline whenever possible.

BTS Universe deals with many difficult and potentially triggering themes, so please read the content warning in the Timeline Guide before proceeding. The Guide section will be included on all future posts for quick reference.

Shadows of Our Childhoods

- Beginning through Year 18 -

[Year 9]

Jung HoSeok (age 7) is abandoned by his mother at an amusement park and moves into an orphanage. His age is referenced in his 31 May Year 22 entry from Notes: Her.

The earliest entry of the Notes published so far is HoSeok’s 30 August Year 9 (Notes: 7). Some older boys wake him up at night, and he reluctantly sneaks up to the rooftop with them. Fireworks explode in the sky. HoSeok is shocked at first and then entranced. The older boys tease him for crying, but he can’t stop the tears.

Note: It’s reasonable to assume that this unidentified rooftop location is the orphanage HoSeok grows up in. Therefore, his mother left him sometime before 30 August—possibly that summer, due to his unexplained tears.

10 October Year 9 Notes 1 (SJ)

Kim SeokJin (age 9) runs away from school with a friend to protect him from men who want to use him as leverage to get money from his father, Mr. Choi, who disappeared after his company shut down. SeokJin tries to hide the friend in his room at home, but his father, Kim ChangJun, arrives with one of the men and allows him to take the boy away. ChangJun tells SeokJin to be a “good kid.” The friend never returns to school.

Note: SeokJin’s age is specified in BTS Universe Story: The Boy on the Threshold, ep.3.

28 February Year 10 Notes: 7 (TH)

Kim TaeHyung encounters an older boy feeding the dog that he frequently plays with outside of the supermarket. He tells the boy that when his father earns a lot of money and moves their family into a big house, he can take the dog and raise him. After TaeHyung presses him a second time, the boy reveals that his name is Kim SeokJin.

23 July Year 10 Notes 1 (HS)

While counting in front of his class, HoSeok recalls the day at the amusement park when his mother handed him a chocolate bar and told him to close his eyes and count to ten. He feels like she will never come looking for him if he finishes counting to ten, and then he collapses.

Note: His mother abandoned him at the amusement park when he was seven (Year 9).

29 December Year 10 Notes 1 (TH)

TaeHyung’s father returns home drunk and disheveled after an absence and abuses him for the first time.

6 April Year 11 Related post: The Arboretum Notes 1 (JM)

Park JiMin (age 8) visits the Grass Flower Arboretum on a school picnic day. While his classmates are all accompanied by their mothers, his own parents are too busy to make it. At the end of the trip, he ignores his teacher’s call to wait and tries to walk home alone. With only his backpack in hand, he is caught in a torrential downpour and seeks shelter in a small warehouse near the back gate. JiMin wakes up in a hospital after he is found unconscious in the arboretum with no memory of what happened. He develops seizures as a result of this unnamed trauma and is frequently hospitalized as he grows up.

Note: This day is also referenced in his entries for 11 May, 19 May, and 4 July of Year 22; the lattermost specifies his age.

Notes 2 (JM)

JiMin reflects on what really transpired at the arboretum in his 12 August Year 22 entry, which also reveals that his memory returned due to a chance encounter on 15 September Year 20. Inside the dark and cluttered warehouse, young JiMin falls asleep and is awoken by an iron door clanging shut and the sound of someone breathing. He discovers an interior room and creeps closer. A small, pale hand appears on the other side, startling him. Someone whistles outside and opens the warehouse door. He hides under a desk and watches a man enter the interior room. Through the man’s legs, JiMin can see a small boy lying on the floor with bruised arms and legs and scars on his wrists from being tied up too long. Their eyes briefly meet. JiMin senses that he is asking for help. The man turns around, and the boy stabs his thigh with a boxcutter before he notices JiMin hiding. The man disarms the boy and slams the door shut. JiMin escapes the warehouse under the cover of the violent noises within. No one is around to help. He runs through the pouring rain and mud, frequently falling and scraping his knees. He collapses at the back gate with an image of the boy’s bleeding hand in his mind. He wakes up at the hospital surrounded by his parents, a doctor, and a nurse. They question him about what happened, but JiMin does not remember.

Note: In the same 12 August Year 22 entry, JiMin explains that he conducted research online into the incident. He learned that the boy’s family name is Choi, he was five at the time, and he was discovered near Hwayong Mountain on April 10 suffering from temporary amnesia caused by shock. JiMin could not find any follow-up articles on the police investigation. Additionally, he reveals the real cause of his seizure at the bus stop on 15 September Year 20: he saw the same boy in the window of the Grass Flower Arboretum shuttle bus. “His empty eyes no longer spoke” to JiMin.

21 July Year 12 Notes 1 (SJ)

After his mother’s death, SeokJin is sent by his father to live with his maternal grandmother in the U.S. (The city is specified as Los Angeles in his 1 February Year 22 entry from Notes: 7.) His father breaks his promise to see him off at the airport.

30 September Year 12 Notes: 7 (JK)

Jeon JungKook (age 7) slips through a crowd of people surrounding a massive sinkhole, wanting to see what’s inside of it. Dirt crumbles beneath his sneaker and he almost loses his balance at the edge. When he steps back, he sees something that is both like a light and another hole inside the hole.

Note: Compare to his Notes 2 Epilogue, XX XX Year XX, when he sees a bottomless hole below and the moon (or “a big hole in the sky”) above where he floats.

[Winter Year 12] Notes 1 (JK)

JungKook (age 7) overhears his father telling his mother that the world “was too heavy for him to bear” and that “there’s nothing he can do for JungKook.” He leaves their family forever.

Note: I calculated this season/year from his 11 September Year 17 entry, in which JungKook has waited ten days to receive a birthday card from his father; he has four cards saved in a drawer. (This also matches his real-life age difference with Jin.) He reflects on his father leaving him during the winter when he was 7 years old. He believes: “I was the world that was too heavy for him to bear—that world that he gave up on. A child who can never be the reason to endure it all. That was me.”

21 May Year 15 Notes: 7 (NJ)

Kim NamJoon returns home late from playing with his friends. The house is unusually dark and empty, giving him a chilling sense of foreboding. The phone rings and he senses that if he answers it, his life will forever change.

Note: It is likely that this is one of the times, if not the first time, his father is hospitalized due to a serious illness. About a year later, in his 21 June Year 16 entry of Notes 1, NamJoon describes how he coaxed his boss to hire a middle school student to post flyers. His family struggles financially with his father’s hospital bills and their overdue utilities.

19 September Year 16 Notes 1 (YG)

Min YoonGi arrives home and finds it devoured by flames. Frozen, he thinks of his mom and watches the house collapse. A neighbor asks him if his mom is inside, and he answers “no” without thinking. YoonGi’s mother dies in the fire.

Note: Some people suspect that YoonGi’s mother set the fire deliberately. In episode 6 of the Save Me webtoon, YoonGi recalls his father warning him against pursuing music unless he wants to “go crazy and kill [himself] like [his] mom did.”

2 May Year 18 Notes: Persona (NJ)

NamJoon and his father return home from the hospital to see the family’s belongings piled outside. They were evicted after his younger brother NamHyeon got in a fight with the landlord’s son who came to collect their overdue rent. The owner of the local supermarket allows them to move into its storage room. Exhausted, NamJoon snaps when his mother frets and asks where his brother is. The supermarket owner gives him a can of beer. In a later Notes 2 entry, he reflects that he was probably 16 at the time.

Note: On 18 June Year 22 in the Notes 2 timeline, NamJoon recounts this story to SeokJin at a street pub as a preface to asking when SeokJin drank alcohol for the first time, testing his memory.

Thoughts on Lies

Warning: Spoilers! And possibly having your heart torn into pieces. Other than that, have fun!

We open up with Marinette figuring out the recipes for the power ups as the new guardian.

I am disappointed that she still has not stopped oogooling over Adrien when he appeared on the news. Especially since she was allegedly with Luka by then. (I'll explain what I mean in just a minute)

Adrien was tired after the day he had as Adrien, which is a contrast of what Marinette believes his life is like. But being Chat Noir is the highlight of his day...

...only to not see Ladybug show up for patrols. And we see that it was all due to her figuring out the powerups.

Also, the patrols are a thing in cannon and I am still not over it after "Truth".

Chat Noir hoping for an akumatization so he can escape his civilian life radiated the same energy as Alya asking for akumatizations to interview the temporary heroes on her IG post. I get it, but still! We do not have people in danger for our needs.

Plagg being the one who announces any voice messages for Chat and asking for cheese through the feature on the Chat Phone brings me a whole other level of life.

Also, the whole milk thing at Le Grand Paris bar counter. It was hilarious, but also very sad. He really missed his m'lady

He ends the patrol after he saw Kagami training with her mom. And the smiles on his face! *Cries in Marichat and Ladynoir*

Plagg is the one that encourages Adrien to move on from Adrien, just like he applauded him from doing so in Loveater.

Kagami apparently said that fencing lessons are scheduled an hour in advance and Adrien (with that goofy grin on his face) knew what was up!

Both Ms. Tsurugi and Gabriel are very pissed at one another for the schedule change. That's hilarious, although everything comes at a price.

The parallels! Kagami is apparently learning Russian at her mother's request. Truly is a reflection of Adrien, civilian life wise.

Kagami? Lying???? The hell???? Who are you and what have you done to Kagami????? (Why am I surprised, y'all did this in Desperada)

She lies to their parents and the teacher to be in the art room with Adrien. I get it, teenage rebellion after being under an uninvolved parent, but still!

I like how the writers gave Kagami another dimension by saying she loves art, but her mom does not like her passion for drawing.

To Kagami's mom: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR DAUGHTER IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH???!!! HER DRAWINGS BELONG IN A MUSEUM!

Also, art reflecting the truth? Hmmm.....

Since people like mentioning that Marinette has a thing for people with absent parents after "Truth", I will now say that Adrien has a thing for people who are great at drawing. I do not take criticism.

Kagami is hinting that Adrien's civilian life is not his true self (thank you for understanding him!)...

...but also says that being a "clown" (it was the Chat pose) is also not who he really is. The fandom would disagree with you. Although that brings up the question of whether both personalities merge to form who he really is and cannot be seen completely by anyone in any part of his life. But he is more like Chat Noir regardless.

Also, I want to see Adrien and Kagami spend more time together prior to this episode to see why she was not pleased with him being a clown if that's who he truly is, because her repositioning him against the wall made me feel like she is trying to place Adrien into a mold that reflects the image she might have created in her mind. (I don't know, this was just the first thought that came in my mind.)

They almost kiss, with Adrien being taken into shock (not terrified as we thought) until the alarm saying they have fencing lessons starting interrupts them and Adrien runs out, not before BLUSHING LIKE HELLO?!?!?

This is what I referred to in my second point and confirms what everyone was saying about this episode: this is "Truth", but through Adrien's perspective. Finally, an Adrien-centered episode!!!

To continue, every time Adrien and Kagami are together or were about to kiss, a sentimonster appears, with Ladybug trying to do something about it. Just like Lukanette, just like Adrigami: being a superhero affects your love life as a civilian.

Chat being thrown off the roof by accident and being rescued will never get old or less funny lol.

Montages continues up until the boat scene, where Adrien missed the intro to the performance, but I will never get over the fact as to how Adrien made it there before Marinette. It is beyond me.

Kagami not letting Adrien stay for 5 more minutes. Hmm...

Their cute moment together was what will lead to the demise of Adrigami as Kagami noticed he dropped the infamous lucky charm bracelet. *le gasp!

Why *le gasp*? Because 1) I fear it symbolizes that something will happen to Adrienette or that Adrien has forgotten about her, and 2) Wait until later.

Kagami revealed she lied so she can spend more time with Adrien alone, lying about leaving rehearsal earlier, lying about the fencing lessons rescheduling, and who else knows what else so she can be with him.

She tells him she loves him. But Adrien notices Ladybug and an Akuma. Oh boy, he wasn't able to give her any attention.

Because he left towards the direction of the boat (and said he left something there), Kagami used that to conclude it had something to do with Marinette. Oh boy.

Either I missed an entire scene about Ladybug knowing ShadowMoth's name, or we were not supposed to know how they know until this episode. It feels out of place to me, but oh well.

"I..am...AN INCREDIBLE SWIMMER!" still cracks me up even when I know how important it was in protecting her secret identity.

Happy Birthday Prince Ali!

Apparently, Kagami lied that her mom was in charge of watching over Adrien (or maybe not? I can't tell at this point.)

Yep, Kagami believes that Adrien is going after Marinette and probably resents them both if her facial expression says anything

We get to see that Ladynoir moment from "Truth"!! I love these two and their banter.

Adrienette stans, not much has changed. Adrien was concerned that he lost the Lucky Charm bracelet, for real. But said again because he though he would be clear of the lie since he thought he had it on him.

Kagami confronts him with it. AND THIS IS HIS SHOCKED FACE SCENE FROM THE TRAILER!!!

Thinking that she lies to get out of being with her, she leaves. With the bracelet. The leaving part is understandable, especially because she does not know about him being Chat Noir or what entails him to do. But why take the bracelet???

Adrien is also saddened by what happened. He also liked her.

We've never seen that part of city hall. Well designed in my opinion.

She was the akuma in City Hall with the glowing sphere! We were right!!!

Adrien feels guilty, though it is not really his fault. He has a duty to Paris!

Why is the music sounding different in French.

Jagged Stone. How do I feel about you after learning you purposefully abandoned Luka and apparently Juleka? Also, what's with the song??? (Rhetorical question. Do not answer)

We were wrong about Kagami's power: it paralyzes people who lie, not kill everything in its path.

Jagged, you abandoned your children. And you apparently lied about your age?!?!?! Both episodes show something about Jagged Stone that make him seem like an awful person on the inside.

Ladybug, how do you know about Lies's powers?!?!? There is a hole in the plot here! Unless there were other paralyzed civilians that gave her power a dead giveaway.

Chat Noir, if you lie as a civilian for whatever reason, of course Ladybug will too, since as a civilian, you need to lie to keep your secret identity a secret. Same rules apply to Ladybug, especially as the guardian.

The Lucky Charm is a drone, not a camera like I thought. How the hell did I get into an ivy if I can't tell the difference?!?!

Chat Noir pretending to lie is funny. It might also be his peppy attitude to lying. Also, his funnier version of ShadowMoth's name.

Ladybug finds the akumatized object and gasps. I wonder if its only a eureka moment or also the fact that she recognizes the bracelet, especially if its custom made.

Brutally honest people does not exist (we have all lied at some point, even Kagami who is usually brutally honest with people), but animals can't lie.

Fang being involved in destroying the akuma is cool.

This is the moment that we dreaded so much, yet knew was coming: CHAT NOIR DIES!

JK! He actually is paralyzed by truth because he jumped into the glowing orb. We were right that this is an anguishing scene to watch, but we're wrong about the part that he's killed. Yet, he still unnecessarily sacrificed himself and caused Ladybug to be angst about it.

WHAT IS UP WITH CHAT NOIR BEING HAPPY ABOUT SACRIFICING HIMSELF?!?!? AND DO NOT SAY ITS BECAUSE HE TRUSTS LADYBUG!

Yes Ladybug. Chat is crazy. And also crazy for you. And you are right about the crazy unconscious part. My Ladynoir heart!

ShadowMoth almost won until Fang bit off the charm bracelet. Thanks Fang!

Chat backing away from Fang licking him is a mood.

My favorite Ladynoir moment of the evening: Ladybug telling Chat to stop sacrificing himself and Chat saying she likes her adorable angry face. Her smirk afterwards.. And then their pound it.

But no seriously Chat. You need to stop doing that to Ladybug. She cannot take it anymore

Plagg said that even if Adrien loves someone else, he is likely to go back to Ladybug. Just like he goes back to Camembert. Seriously, despite his cheese analogies, he gives great wisdom.

Not Kagami almost beating up Adrien during his fencing lessons. And Mr. D'Angercourt notices this too as he stopped Kagami's final blow.

Also, isn't it illegal in fencing to push people? Oh boy.

And there's the Adrigami breakup scene: Adrien telling Kagami that he enjoys their time together and Kagami knowing their is sincerity in him. It is sort of unclear who actually ended things when Adrien asks if they could still be friends, but Kagami ends it all by saying that she will let him know once she can face him again. Ouch.

Adrien is hurt and stares at the lucky charm bracelet with what looks like sadness. Once again ouch.

Like Lukanette, I want to see Adrien and Kagami be happy together at least until halfway through this season. The issue is that it will hurt them more in the end.

Also, I noticed the difference between Luka and Kagami when ending their respective relationships. It hurt them both, but Kagami was more forward about it and Luka was somewhat passive. It could be based on what they know about their now exes (Luka knew that Marinette had feelings for Adrien and was not secretive about it even when they were together if the truths her friends said and the opening scene to this episode reflect this, whereas Kagami only has a suspicion and Adrien does not say anything regarding to it.

Also, I really did not like how the breakup on this end resulted in. While more realistic for a lot of people, it did not help that it involved Kagami as there are people who will go after Kagami after watching this episode, and I believe that the writers know this. Kagami is a good person who has a different response to the trust issues and lack of communication, as well as lies in their relationship. Not saying its a perfect one, but an understandable one. In conclusion, don't trash Kagami, especially if you saw this coming.

I take back what I said before; this is my favorite Ladynoir scene. I want to hug them both because they have to lie and keep secrets from everyone, even have some secrets between themselves! But at least they can trust each other! Excuse me while I cry over how much we are being fed. Also, the fact that they broke up with their respective partners makes this both heartwarming and heart breaking.

Overall, this episode is just as good as Lies! It is the first fully Adrien-centered episode, which makes this a first and already exciting. While I did not like how their breakup was handled, it was realistic and showed that honesty and communication are important. Also, can my children be happy together for longer than an episode??? I swear, their pain hurts me.

But at least Ladybug and Chat Noir have each other's company to get them through. May us Ladynoir stans continue to be fed!

Hello, I’m not trying to defend rude people coming to you asking you to hurry the story lol but I’m going to tell you something that might help as advice as a writer, maybe? Just please don’t take it the wrong way bc I’m not trying to tell you how to do your thing!

I think what frustrates readers the most is that the story escalated SO QUICKLY from the beginning, like since the “deal” to all the fluff, the “””””fake””””” dating, the sex, the (very obvious) romantic moments that were completely brushed off, not to mention all the confusing things Jungkook says to Y/N and viceversa, etc. AND THEN.. the whole story goes back to (in a sense) zero: Jungkook is back with Kiko, the person that hurted him so deeply on him, Y/N and Jungkook are still friends even after they spended all those weeks being basically like boyfriend and girlfriend and that there’s clearly something there that ALL of us can see (unless you didn’t want us to believe that and we’re all not reading the same story).

And I’m not saying that it’s bad or that you’re doing things the wrong way but IT IS very confusing to us bc its starting to feel like there’s no real character development and everything’s going backwards instead of forward.

Again, I’m not saying this is how you should do this but, as a reader myself, the lack of development, in terms of character and not as a “this is how I want the story to end” type of thing, it’s very frustrating and dryning for some people.

What I’m trying to say is that maybe the people on your ask box aren’t just being obnoxious and trying to tell you how they want the story to end. Maybe they’re mad at the fact that after everything that’s happened between Y/N and Jungkook, they’re still with the same mindset. I mean, even the whole “mutual help” agreement is over and they’re still the same characters when the story began. It makes you wonder if maybe that’s everything there is to their story 🤧

My point it’s that: if the story’s plot it’s based on that “mutual help” they had, isn’t it supposed to bring some noticeable change to the character’s life after instead of just passing by, almost uneventfully?

Anyway, I hope I don’t make you feel mad or sad with my whole ass analysis lol that really isn’t the point of it, I’m just seriously very confused with the way the story is progressing, and maybe clarifying some things, without spoiling anything, may help us readers understand where is this story going. Btw, none of this means that the story or the plot or the characters are bad AT ALL, I would say it’s the complete opposite, we are all SO immersed in it that we’ve got to the point were we’re just desperate for more! But yeah, thank you for your beautiful story! I’ll still check every update even if you decide to complete ignore this question lol ❤️❤️

As much as I appreciate you trying to justify all those asks, it doesn't change the fact how I feel about this whole thing. Frustrated, sad and overwhelmed, that's how I've been feeling for a few weeks now (maybe even months) because some people on this app are too much sometimes. It's one of the reasons why I disabled my asks.

If any of the readers have any problem with how the story is going, I've said too many times they don't have to read it. Them getting all frustrated over how I write my OWN story is ridiculous. People trying to tell me how to write my story is ridiculous. If you guys read my answers to every ask, you probably know by now what makes me frustrated and what bothers me the most. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out and I ask... how the hell people are still being so pushy with their own preferences? I've explained countless things so many times and honestly, I'm exhausted because of it. I feel like nobody listens to me what I'm saying and that puts a little disrespect in my opinion.

+ I get the feeling people don't read MH thoroughly and forget all the things that have been discussed there. I don't get the feeling as if the story went back to zero, I'm sorry that you do but well, I respect your opinion but obviously are opinions about this are very different. I can't believe I've to explain this all over again but well... here we go! y/n and Jungkook being still friends doesn't mean there are things that haven't slightly changed (whether they acknowledge it or not). Them acting like a girlfriend and a boyfriend has been explained by THEM, why they acted like that and even admitted it felt nice. There is an obvious attraction and their deal hasn't helped with that.

+ I know very well what I'm doing with my story [SLOW BURN STORY] and I asked readers many times to just trust me. I'm so freaking frustrated because if people are getting so frustrated over my story too, why the hell are they still reading it? I'm not asking for people to tell me what to do, directly or indirectly because I'm sorry but that's the vibe I'm getting from all those asks. They're not normal and typical asks of "oh I wish they were together" but the length those people are willing to go just to push their own preference is ridiculous.

+ If you think there's no character development (just because y/n x jk aren't together and jk x kiko are) then I'm sorry but MH isn't probably your kind of story. And I'm not going to point out what those characters development are because if you read the story thoroughly and with some sort of understanding, you could easily tell what it is and you wouldn't have to question me about it.

+ Again, if anyone finds this story so frustrating and draining (that's what you probably meant) just don't read it. I really appreciate everyone who does read it, but ONCE AGAIN... I'm not sure what to do with it? I'm not going to change the story and even though I do read those opinions, 90% of time I don't even know how to respond. And people willing to take some of their time to be frustrated in my inbox when you can probably tell that it is as much frustrating for me, is blowing my mind and not in the good sense.

+ Maybe they’re mad at the fact that after everything that’s happened between Y/N and Jungkook, they’re still with the same mindset. This fucking blew my mind all over again. As much as I'm aware a story can evoke a lot of feelings (one of the reasons why writing and reading stories is so amazing), this is different than just people being casually mad about something. And that's exactly it, people are mad and then they come into my inbox and spread negativity and even bigger distaste to writing for me. If anyone is so mad because of how story is going and it's hard for them to process it (now I'm going to be the one giving you an advice) just don't read it. And I don't mean this in any rude way, I genuinely think people shouldn't read it if them being so mad means they'll show their anger and frustration to me. Because newsflash but I'm a person behind this screen, I can get mad and frustrated too. Do you guys think these kinds of asks aren't hurting me to a certain extent?

+ You think this story is confusing? Alright, what am I supposed to do with it? Like, I'm genuinely curious what you guys expect me to do. I told you to trust me, it didn't help. I told you this story is a slow burn one, it didn't help. I told you there are things that are changing and if you read the story properly and with some understanding, you'd be able to notice it (even if it's not something big and eye-catching), that didn't help too.

+ It's not my responsibility to explain and clarify every thing people are confused about but still, I've always tried to explain everything but you know what? I don't feel like doing it again. Because every time people are confused about something, it always has something to do with the future of the story and people indirectly asking me about spoilers – whether you think it's true or not, I've been here long enough to know when people are trying to get answers out of me. Plus, it's very hard almost impossible to explain some things without spoiling anything. That's why I always told you guys to trust me and you'll get your answers at the right time.

I really hate explaining my thoughts like this because it makes me feel like a douchebag but I'm so sick of some people thinking like I owe them something. At the end of the day, I'm here to write a story and me interacting with all of my readers is my choice. I could easily just post a chapter and not care what people think, and I do think some people are using this fact over me thinking they can be impolite, rude, pushy and frustrating. I've been patient enough about this, but the more this keeps happening the more I'm questioning my presence here.

There... here are my thoughts and I know people will take from it whatever they want (or more like won't take anything from it) but honestly, I'm so exhausted if you couldn't tell by now. I'm so done with always justifying myself. These thoughts have been bubbling inside of me for so long and I always told myself to just close the app, breathe it out and come back positive... but I realized that every time I think about this, I feel exactly the same and I know that it's not my fault because that's how some of you make me feel.

All I ask if for mutual understanding because I've always been trying to be respectful and understanding, that's one of the things I've been very careful about.

Breaking down Lily Orchards 100 writing tips, 1-10.

Here goes pain...

Starting off with an absolute bang, not really writing advice. Spoilers are something you shouldn’t be worried about while writing, period. If you are, you are flinging the cart miles ahead of the horses. While there is some value in saying they shouldn’t derail or cheapen your story, some twists being spoiled can ruin the experience somewhat as they turn a first viewing into a second and many narratives just don’t have the punch the second time around and to write the concerns off as the author relying on cheap shock value is just a bit irresponsible and not just a little bit stupid. it really depends on the story being told. Also as a fun drinking game take a shot every time I say it depends on the story being told. You’ll die. hopefully that lil spoiler doesn’t make the breakdown any less enjoyable.

Good advice on the surface, but It depends on the story being told. If your story can facilitate the main couple hooking up in the middle it probably isn’t a bad idea. A good amount of stories, usually romance stories can’t as the main couple hooking up would be the endpoint of the story, because the story was specifically about that. To just air her laundry for her, Korrasami, that is it, she’s salty about korrasami. Lastly, as a side note that just infuriates me specifically, no showrunner ever just gets five seasons, if you’re lucky with a hell of a pitch, they may sign you on for two, giving you more down the line if money is being made, korra was a one season show renewed thrice before getting shitcanned.

Ah, a blanket statement in need of heavy qualification. as always it depends on the story being told. Enemy is very loosely defined so where I would agree that enemies to lovers sounds bad, enemy constitutes everything from somebody that can be very competitive, but is not a bad person all the way to colonel puppy kicker the uber facist who has finally completed his machine that will destroy everyone but straight cis white males. It should also be stated that friends to lovers can end horribly. It does in real life all the time.

I mean, they can be... Not to state the obvious, but Zuko did do bad things and did have some proving to do. I guess redemption is a dirty word to lily? To say something that might be contentious but really shouldn’t be, the abused can still abuse. May need to redeem themselves a bit... I dunno. This feels like one that doesn’t need much time spent on it.

Jails are a thing. This really is a childish point, moving past murderous vigilantism. Killing someone is not the easiest thing to do, you have to look someone in the eyes as you drain the life out of em, and for those like child heroes or a protagonist defending themselves that may be a little extreme to expect from them. It depends on the story being told, namely the tone. Not all stories could or should just pop a cap in bad guy even if he is a murderer, either way hope the view from your high horse is nice.

Somebody doesn’t like she-ra... This is really divorced from every last drop of context it needs. So I suppose yeah don’t have girls kiss if they have never done anything outside of try to murder each other with absolutely no outside influences or any other forces at play. Gold star I suppose....

This tip really doesn’t have anything wrong with it. Don’t JK Rowling kids, make your wizards poop themselves on screen and make them poof away the mess. So that’s one and a half good tips at 7 tips in that are worth a damn, can she keep the momentum!

Like always, good tip on the surface, while it does depend on the story, as a rule of thumb it’s perfectly fine as a tip. I’d even give her credit for it, but tip 9 exists.

I will just say that not only is this not a tip, but basically says that as long as a character was your fave and wasn’t always the villian then redeem the fuck out of them. even if said character dangerously escalated a war with use of fantasy nukes i dunno, that is what she did i’m sure, but I neither know to much or even care about WoW. I just know fantasy nukes and tree burning was involved and that Lily has a fanfic about her WoW character and sylvanas.

To cap us off, tip 10 is actually a good one. There really isn’t much to add to this other than saying it’s a completely fair point.

So, 10 down and only 2 outta the lot are worth anything at face value. what a fantastic start, onward to more pain...
