I finally watched “Bungou Stray Dogs: BEAST” and it destroyed me emotionally!
Rui Tabuchi and Masashi Taniguchi made me cry three times during the movie; especially during the scene at Lupin’s.
I read the novel two years ago but seeing those scenes in action was devastating.
The action moments between Atsushi and Akutagawa were great, maybe the Rashomon felt a bit off in some parts but I enyojed them nonetheless.
Kyouka and Atsushi’s interactions were adorable; all sugar and honey while Akutagawa was bleeding on the floor ... poor boy-
Last, but not least, Chuuya’s reaction at Dazai’s “ending” during the post credit scene felt like a punch in my stomach, Keisuke Ueda did it wonderfully.
I was a sobbing mess at the end of this film, but it was worth it.

Doom trailer
Respect to Loki and his fans, but if any Marvel villain deserves a movie of his own, it’s Doctor Doom.
(Open on a birds-eye view of a small village at night. Cut to soldiers attacking the village, with focus on a young boy watching a woman being dragged away.)
Boy: Mother! No!
Victor (v/o): Some are born great...
(Cut to the boy, now a teenager, with a pile of books around him. An older man looks on as the boy reads while jotting down notes.)
Older man (v/o): Victor...
(Shot of the older man staring out a window with a morose expression on his face.)
Older man: ...I see so much potential in you. But I fear that you will choose a dark path, just as your mother did.
Victor (v/o): Some achieve greatness...
(Shot of Victor standing outside the State University dorm building. Shot of Victor in his dorm room, looking out of a window at the various students milling around. He turns away from the window and takes out a photograph of a girl around his age, smiling at it fondly.)
Victor (v/o): Some have greatness thrust upon them.
(Shot of Victor working on a machine, a pentagram visible underneath it. Shot of Victor using the machine, only for it to suddenly begin sparking. Just as it begins to come apart, we can see a young man with brown hair standing in the doorway to Victor's room, watching with a look of horror.)
Victor (v/o): I say that for some...
(Shots of Latverian civilians facing off against Baron Fortunov's soldiers. Shot of Baron Fortunov engaging Victor, who now has a scar framing one side of his face, in fiercely heated combat.)
Victor (v/o): ...greatness is their destiny.
(Cut to Victor, with his back to the camera, donning a suit of armor. Shot of Victor placing a familiar mask on his face. Cut to title card.)

Willow (film)
I imagine that The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings films would have probably been like this had they been made in the era.
The basis for a Disney+ series over three decades later, Lucasfilm’s Willow stars Warwick Davis, who had before played the Ewok Wicket in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, as the eponymous halfling sorcerer Willow Ufgood, who becomes steward to an infant, who had been smuggled out of the clutches of an evil queen, who in turn fears a prophecy of a newborn being her doom and thus gathered the…
