Spent the late morning reading Emma in the garden of my summer house; if it wasn't for the very high humidity, this would be the perfect weather – I love the diffused light that comes with an overcast sky, it paints everything in a lovely calm hue.

Rained on and off – you wouldn't even believe it from the pictures! The sunny intervals were spent sunbathing in the garden – though it was definitely too hot –, and me and my sister had to run inside every 10 minutes to avoid the rain, which was more fun than anything. Read more of Emma, had a rooibos tea for breakfast that I hadn't brewed in a while. Really enjoyed both. Have a nice day!
