summary: your "thing" with the hoo boys!

author's note: in honor of the pjo series coming out today,,have this rlly rlly short draft from earlier this year! xoxo

percy jackson — doodling on him

“give me your hand.”

“yes ma’am.”

minutes pass as you doodle gods know what onto percy’s hand. you always resort to this whenever the camp head counselor's meeting begins late—which seems to be every meeting—and giving percy "tattoos" certainly kills time. last meeting, you drew a can of beans and the time before that, was a bouquet of tulips. so honestly his guess being a pair of socks this time isn’t too far of a reach.

“okay, done,” you release his hand, a proud smile gracing your features, “cute right?”

he quirks a brow upon seeing the drawing, “is that…” percy turns his head to the side, gaining better perspective, “is that a flying fish?”

“wow, you’re good,” you say, giving him a nod of approval, “although, last time you did say that my can of beans looked like a roll of toilet paper…”

your boyfriend throws his hands in the air, “in my defense, you used a shitty pen so it was hard to tell.”

“whatever.”

jason grace — sewing your initials on his clothes

“hi love,” jason says, plopping down beside you on the couch. you give him a bright smile as he places a gentle kiss on your head, “almost done?”

nodding proudly, you hold up his pair of jeans to show him your work: your initials sewn onto a corner of his back pocket, “yup, just finished actually! what do you think of the color? i think you bought the thread for me on our second date. but i totally forgot i had it until i went digging in my supply box.”

a grin plasters itself on jason’s face as he nods his head in realization, “i knew the color seemed familiar. i remember wondering why a tiny spool of thread was so expensive. but it’s perfect, i love it,” he kisses your cheek, “all my friends are gonna be so jealous that they don’t have their girlfriends’ initials sewn onto their clothes.”

you laugh as you imagine jason vehemently bragging about his jeans to all his friends, “tell them i’m charging $50 if they want me to do theirs,” you wink.

“we’d make more than the stolls’ and their smuggling business if we did that,” he laughs, admiring your work once more. who knew that having your initials on his pants would have such an affect on him, “also, can you do my sweaters and my other jeans?"

you raise a brow, "i might have to start charging you at this point."

leo valdez — impromptu fashion shows

“wow!” you clap enthusiastically, “your outfit even puts paris fashion week outfits to shame!” yes, because a rainbow checkered crop top with a humongous green tutu and a pink boa paired with insanely skinny stilettos beats any and all high fashion runway outfits, “now, leo valdez, can you give us a few words about your new clothing line? and possibly a bit about what it’s like to be so amazingly talented?” you inquire, raising an invisible microphone to his mouth.

leo oh-so humbly bows and rises with a proud grin, “thank you, thank you, but i honestly must give all credit towards my beautiful muse, y/n, she’s the inspiration behind my new line. and about being so talented, it really is such hard work to be this naturally gifted.”

“ooh, do tell about this ‘y/n.’ i’ve never heard of her but she does sound absolutely gorgeous!” you exclaim, keeping up with the act.

your boyfriend nods firmly, “oh yes, she’s very, very, very beautiful,” adding a playful wink, “but i must say, she has the worst morning breath i’ve ever encountered!”

your smile drops and you squint your eyes, “i’m going to choke you with that stupid ugly boa if you don’t take that back right now.”

“uh ma’am,” leo backs up nervously, clutching his boa, “i’m going to have to call security if you threaten me again.”

"i'm seriously going to kill you."

an: i never wrote this type of ff before but i kinda like it, also srry for being inactive but i didn't rlly have any ideas for writing and any motivation plus im not feeling good mentally

"you're still up?" a voice from behind you could be heard. you turn around to see ellie standing by the door, leaning against the door frame. you're sitting in front of your desk and next to your piano. you smile and nod. "i wanted to finish this before heading to bed."

she walks closer and hugs you from behind, looking over the papers. "new song? or maybe songs?" a small smirk creeps up on her face. you chuckle. "yup. so excited to record them." she sighs and pulls you closer. you lay your head back on her shoulder. "you're so talented, you know that right?" you smile. "thank you baby."

"ellie? where are you?" you call her from the kitchen. you're making lunch for the both of you. when no answers come back you decide to search for your girlfriend. "els?" you peek into the living room. she is laying on the couch with her phone in her hands. you cross your arms and walk closer to her. "lunch's almost ready. what are you doing?" she looks up at you from her phone. some songs could be heard from it. she sits up. "nothing much." she smiles. you roll your eyes. "yea, sure." you go behind and see what she is watching.

you chuckle. you should have guessed it. she is watching edits of you that fans made. ellie absolutely adored every one of them. she would always comment on them, making everyone know she is your girlfriend and you are hers, not like everyone already knew. the fans also loved her. you are grateful for their love towards ellie.

"you really like watching them, huh?" she chuckles and puts her phone down. "you look so good in every one of 'em!" she claims. you softly laugh and shake your head. she grabs your hands and pulls you down on her lap. "you're just so gorgeous." you put your hands around her neck and kiss her with all the love you have for her.

♡ she is your number one fan on your tours. she screams your songs louder than anyone else. the fans love to make edits of it.

♡ she goes absolutely feral when you're performing a sexy song with your tight dresses/suits. would help you choose outfits even.

♡ she would be really invested in the sets and the type of microphones you have for albums/songs.

♡ she would love to hear you talk about the lore of your albums and songs. why you wrote them and who you wrote them about and she would help you write songs, she would play the guitar for your songs. her favorite part.

♡ in your fan meets she would walk up to you like, "ma'am, i'm your biggest fan, could i please get a photo and autograph?" you'd chuckle but absolutely give her what she wants.

♡ would bring you food and drinks when you're on breaks.

♡ you would often catch her just admiring you while you're on stage. you absolutely just melt in her eyes and smile.

♡ she just absolutely loves how you're your true self while singing to thousands of people and how you enjoy it. you don't even consider it as a job because it's so much more than that. the way you laugh, smile, dance, talk to your fans.

♡ when your vinyl and cds comes out she is the first person to have them and take photos with them and post it on her story just admiring your art.

♡ would have posters of you in her room and art room.

♡ she posts a lot about you on her twitter and insta stories.

♡ she loves drawing you from photos on tours.

Hope this is allowed because I dont think anyone would have submitted him for this competition (I'd eat an actual sock if he were in it) but I need to draw everyones attention to one of my favourite little guys of the 90s, Mr Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy.

Hes attractive to me in a bug way which is my main point of this out of competition propaganda (which I regret not sending earlier), his style in the 90s was especially hot to me, I love guys who wear suits just for the sake of it so much. His storytelling & songwriting is on a level with the likes of Jarvis but hes also a weird orchestral freak about it, bar a few songs hes not rlly in common public music knowledge, but maaan hes insane!! Incredible voice for such a tiny little guy, google says hes 5'7 but that feels wrong. Hes like an insect or a mouse to me and I need to trap him in a jar and study him.

I never have any gauge of who would enjoy The Divine Comedy and who wouldnt so Id absolutely encourage anyone to check him out but Pulp fans especially- Ive seen more overlap there than anywhere else. Casanova is a great album if you want to listen to a horny blokes descent into madness, with bonus gender questioning because why the hell not. Hes written at least 4 joke eurovision songs. Hes written more songs about horses than anyone else I know of, including My Lovely Horse from Father Ted (plus all the other songs from that, including the theme). His wife rescues horses and he has an entire album of songs written about her, at which time he also donned a Napoleon outfit during live shows which, while not 90s, was very cool, truly no one else is doing it like him. Hes very funny, very clever, and very kind, *and* very attractive. To me, at least, and the handful of other people here who know about him. Hes still very attractive today, which is a bonus. Hes a man of the people, if those people are weird little awkward introverted history loving freaks.

Apologies for how long this turned out, I figured if no one else was gonna do it then Id better do it well, & thank you for coming to my TED talk on one of my most favourite musicians ever!! He makes me ill with joy.

What are some tips you keep in mind when designing a character :0? I rlly enjoy how you designed Angela and Satan, along with the others!!

HMMM WELL!!! when coming with designs, i would absolutely encourage using references on Pinterest for clothing, and then using Google as another source. You can also look up “anime outfits” since typically anime’s encourage pretty fire designs…. sometimes.

Angela probably needs another update for her design, I want her to portray “black swan” orrr innocent “white swan” image. I have a few ideas but IDK i jsut need to grind on it. Satan (Mother ((is another name for her. Please don’t be weird LOL it’s just one of many names!) was actually helped designed by my good friend!! He was a HUGE help of her new design. I came out with a few ideas, and he basically helped me come to a conclusion for a design and lined it for me while i colored!! He was amazing :)

I will say!! Advice for designs is to make something on their own style. Try thinking of their personality and how THEY would want to dress, not just bc you think it looks pretty. If the character doesn’t like a certain style, then they prolly wouldn’t be wearing it!!

Also!! Try not to under do it, and try not to over do it. You wanna try finding a middle ground where something on the character is memorable, like a certain accessory or outfit, but don’t shove the character with 4729389282 different things because it can strain a viewers eye and make it hard to look at it! Minor details on outfits that are all crowded are more better for illustrations!! Which feel free to do that if you’re interested in that stuff :D but try not crowding the OC with too much if it’s gonna be something you’re going to be animating, since it can get tedious very quickly! but again!!! It’s up to you :) It’s your character! If you’re okay with all that stuff then there shouldn’t be an issue with it!! (this is more advice if you’re gonna be going to the industry/working with a team, or gonna be animating complex designs frame by frame!)

AND FINALLY make sure it’s a design you’re happy with! If you make a design and you hate it, youre not gonna want to draw the character anymore. Make sure you’re doing this because you enjoy it!! Not because it’s a chore :D

Heya everybody! I'm not sure where the thought for this came from but I wanted to make a post that just has all of my OCs' refs in it in case anyone ever needs to find them and doesn't wanna ask me for them (which ur always welcome to do btw!) or doesn't wanna go digging through their Toyhouse galleries. This will be linked in my pinned post as well, so if you ever need to find it again, it'll be there! Every character will have their Toyhouse page linked below their ref, so you'll have easy access to more in-depth info and more gallery images if needed!

All the refs are below the read more since this is going to be a really long post, so be prepared for that if you take a look lol. NNT Clan-Swap AU

A new outfit made by a dear friend

I wanted to draw what Giant!Mel’s outfit looked like when he was a kid and I think he looks adorable!

He obviously had to alter it as he grew bigger and buffer, removing the sleeves entirely, changing his boots and adding his old beast cloth as a sash around his waist, even giving himself a few ear piercings.

Matron wanted to change his clothes entirely, being a big too human-like in her opinion, but he stubbornly kept it, extremely attached to it, even if he didn’t rlly know why. Just wearing it made him feel…warm inside, but it also made him stuck out like a sore thumb among the other giants, even without his short height.

Just imagine Elizabeth’s face when she sees Meliodas for the first time in 200 years and sees that he’s still wearing the clothes she made him after all this time.

And though she’d never say it out loud, Elizabeth was very happy to see the alterations Mel made if you know what I mean…😏

Sexuality Headcanon: bisexual AF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gender Headcanon: two headcanons for this guy. 1. hes an alien so i dont think he subscribes to the human definition of gender but hes cis 2. Transgender. either way he uses neopronouns simply because of the two posts i saw on my dash. A ship I have with said character: this is the most embarassing part everyone will kill me for this. 1. Academic:

Languages - Ever since early Highschool, I adored all languages! I currently only learn German and Spanish, but if I could I would learn French too. My dream is to be at least tri-lingual!!

Maths - I think since I was young I was always good at maths, which I'm very grateful for. I think my favourite type of Maths is probably shapes in triangles or something like that, though algebra in general is fun :)

Accounting (ik ew) - In the beginning I found it difficult, but the more I learnt the easier I found it. Sometimes it's nice just sit and do numbers and nothing super creative.

Non-academic:

Gaming - I love gaming with all my heart. I think I've always been interested in games since I was at least 9 or something. My current favourite game is probably TF2!! I started playing in 2019 and haven't stopped loving it since (although the a lot of the playerbase can be toxic)

Drawing - I'm not the best at drawing, but a sketch now and then always helps me, especially when I want to make a new OC! I also like sketching up outfit ideas for me to try out later. I usually draw fem people, since I'm not that good at drawing masc people :(

Writing - Of course I love writing! I started writing 'x reader' fics when I was on Wattpad then moved to Tumblr!

Playing piano - I'm self-taught so I'm not that good, but I still enjoy playing simple tunes now and then. I'm currently learning 'I Giorni'. :)

Swimming - I don't take classes, I just enjoy relaxing in the water. Sometimes it's really nice just to immerse yourself in the water and not make a sound, you know?

TF2 - I think this is probably my special interest lol. I love TF2 more than anything, if I can relate it to TF2 I probably have tbh-

My fave character is Engie/Demo, my fave ship is either Medic x Heavy or Miss P x Zhanna and my main is Medic!

PAYDAY 2 - Something about shooting things as a team is just rlly fun to me lmao. The OST is genuinely so good if you can't get the game just listen to it fr fr- I usually am a stealth guy but omg M1 garand yippeeeee-

My fave character is Sokol/Dallas and my main is Joy (I play Sokol or Dallas sometimes)

Undertale - Probably the first game I actually loved??? It's literally still on my favourite list fr- I would play it again but I did the True Pacifist run and I don't wanna ruin Frisk's life 😭

My fave character is Papyrus/Sans!

Star Wars: Clone Wars - It's an amazing show with great characters and visuals! I definitely have it as one of my hyperfixations... It's really interesting to watch the show and see how each season the animation/visuals improve. I wish there was a separate show or smth where the clones actually get a good ending for once... 😭

My favourite character is Fives, Tech or Plo Koon :)

(I literally just found out the graffiti on Plo Koon's ships say 'Plo's Bros' and I can't stop thinking about it)

Lethal Company - I love this little horror game so much! I had a hyperfixation to the point I actually made a 67 slide PowerPoint about it... I might have a problem. I like playing it with my friends the most, since I get scared really easily!

mike: usually sticks to watching the others play, but when he does he's pretty average at it! mains dualies. has terrible fashion sense in-game

will: not very into it aside from the artsy themes and lore and is very low level, but is really good at turf war somehow. maybe because hes the only one ever covering ground? he plays as an inkling boy with the tied back hair and mains the basic brush. probably a fanartist and draws all their avatars together in the drawing tool

el: plays as an octoling and really seems to like the octo expansion. i guess she resonates with eight. when she does turf war she usually doesn't like to go for other players. splooshomatic main (yes im projecting my favorite weapon)

lucas: is on a league team (im not sure if people actually make teams but ive heard of it happening) with max! isn't very aggressive when playing but is still pretty good! really likes clam blitz. he'd main the blasters

dustin: usually does stuff in main story, hasn't 100%ed it yet tho. mains whatever the hero bucket is in turf war! has a crush on marina but knows the love is unrequited.... for she has a lover :(

max: is a completionist. has done all of main story with every weapon and is the only one in the group besides el (who took a long, long time) to have beaten inner agent 3. on the chance she does turf war she immediately goes for other players, but she mostly does ranked/league. what she mains depends on the mode but usually uses chargers

LUCAS AND MAX ON A LEAGUE TEAM TOGETHER ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💗💗💕💕💘💞💖💖💖💖 Lucas definitely focuses more on the objective and lets Max worry about getting kills and being aggressive when needed. He 100% tries to avenge Max whenever she gets splatted though <3 they work rlly well together competitively and max constantly makes fun of him for now having the storymode completed or even owning the dlc lol

Dustin’s is so fucking funny to me😭😭😭 he loves Marina but respects the lesbians what a champ❤️ I am choosing to believe part of the reason he hasn’t beaten the storymode yet is he spends too much time annoying Marie and trying to get Steve to watch him play

i really dislike the beforever branding, the historical aspect is one of the best draws of it. and beforever just removes the historical “artifact” effect by making the outfits and items dumbed down and modernized. do not give kit that dress i want flour sacks! i wonder if the storylines were dumbed down, i do need to read the american girl books, old and new, because i havent read them for a while. i have lanie, chrissa, molly, etc on my shelf. god i have so many books to read the entire road series is sitting on my shelf crying. flum hates me bc i left on a rlly sad part for her. like ik not every character will be killed off but.

so basically- i'm like 5'4 ish, got long dark brown hair that i keep tied back in a scrunchy at all times because it's thick n likes to go all over the place. i've got green eyes, i wear glasses and they're like always dirty bc i can't clean them myself, i always ask someone else to clean them. oh and i have a rlly bad nail biting habit, so my nails are always very short

uhh hobbies- i'm an artist first and foremost. i love drawing. i'm also a writer though, i have a few original stories i'm working on

i like drawing things for the ppl i care about. i'll usually draw them things for their birthdays or holidays. maybe just a random doodle for the heck of it. i like drawing my friends :)

i have social anxiety, and i tend to get panicky in public especially if i'm left alone. i'm surprisingly good at making friends though? i literally have no idea how, it just kinda happens. i can get pretty chaotic and loud, talkative, borderline annoying if i'm around friends or family though

some favorite bands of mine are arctic monkeys, glass animals, lovejoy, radiohead, and dr. dog. i do enjoy 80s, early 90s music as well. i dunno i listen to a lot of music, but i guess i do mostly listen to indie rock. n i get really excited if someone shares the same music taste as me

outfit wise, i usually just wear baggy tshirts, ripped jeans, and combat boots. and a hoodie, maybe some fingerless gloves if it's cold out.
