Razkovniche is the Bulgarian-language name for the real plant Marsilea quadrifolia, which shares some features with the legendary raskovnik.
In Slavic folklore, the raskovnik or razkovniche (Serbian Cyrillic and Macedonian: расковник; Bulgarian: разковниче [rɐsˈkɔvnit͡ʃɛ]; Russian: разрыв-трава; Polish: rozryw) is a magical herb. According to lore, the raskovnik has the magical property to unlock or uncover anything that is locked or closed. However, legends claim it is notoriously difficult to recognize the herb, and reputedly only certain chthonic animals are able to identify it.

Rakvice🇨🇿
Some beautiful Moravian dresses/costumes from Rakvice, a village/municipality in the South East of Czechia🇨🇿.
This place has wonderfully preserved their beautiful culture.
You will notice with Moravian dresses, women tend to have large, puffy dresses with their distinctive huge, wide skirts and abundant petticoats underneath.
In many regions in South Moravia, men's costumes typically include a long white embellished ribbon with a decorated cockade on the right side of their vests as you can see above.
I managed to find some older photos from 1959 too❤️
A traditional dress/costume in Czech & Slovak is called a "Kroj" (pronounced like kroi). I love how highly and beautifully embellished each garment is from here❤️

Redraw of an old idea I had, the gaang if they were Bulgarian/South Slavic.
Aang is inspired by shepherd's clothing mostly as well as some North- and Central- West Bulgarian clothing. Same for Sokka, but mostly CW (from the Shop region). Katara is a mix of Rhodope mountain and again CW styles. The butterflies are just so they don't stare in empty space lol

Seas of Paleness
How much grief have these shores absorbed that turned gray from the touch of the cold wind? From how many tears is the canvas of this sea woven? The grieving trees are bent, the waves sharpen their roots. Dark silhouettes of ghosts repeat these strange curves...

『 Istrski poljub - Istrian kiss 』
Croatian and Slovenian Istrian girls kissing in an old coastal town
The Croatian girl (left) is wearing folk clothes from southern Istria. The Slovenian girl (right) is wearing folk clothes from the Trieste region. The town I used as a reference was a photo I took in Piran a couple of months ago - I guess they met halfway between eachother!

Just found this picture on Pinterest. I cannot believe how beautiful it is, oh how much I wish I had the same kroj, cuz if I'd own a one like that I'd never wear anything else.
Just look at it!!! TAK KRÁSNÝ JÁ TOMU NEMŮŽU UVĚŘIT.
