I do feel a little sad that we aren’t seeing Sofia Strange’s story be canonized/rewritten yet. If they were gonna give Stephen a baby it should have been her…

I mean, Donna Strange is cute and I love her. I just can’t help feeling that little itch…

Same, same, although Sofia does exist in one of the many futures as seen in Wastelanders: Doom (2022)!

Aside from that, last DS chapter left a hint that maybe Sofia will come, not as soon as we could have had, but probably after Donna grows older (imagine two magical babies in the Sanctum? Chaos, pure chaos!)

As for the panel reference, it's from Axis Revolution #1 (2014).

Don't take this story too seriously tho. It's from that event where good heroes became evil. Stephen is a prick and Wong poisons him in return, y'know, the old toxic yaoi haha

Two crazy theories I thought of after reading "Doctor Strange (2023) #5":

Warning: You're probably going to question my sanity after reading this.

2 - Clea's new sister is Sofia Strange.

Okay, let's start, for those who don't know who "Sofia Strange" is, she is the daughter of Doctor Strange and Clea in the comics. Well, she was, because she never came back after a single appearance in "Epic Anthology" and we can assume that Marvel "forgot" about her and she never existed on Earth-616. It never happened, no one mentions her (not even Clea), wiped out of existence. BUT... An alternate version of her appeared in "Wastelanders: Doom" last year and was already an adult. That means Marvel hasn't forgotten about her and they still know she was left out on Earth-616.

As for the theory, I started to think it would be "funny" if Umar's new daughter was revealed to be the new Sofia Strange on Earth-616. Yes, you might think I'm hallucinating, but like, if Umar really dies and Clea has to take care of her new sister, then what are the chances of Clea and Stephen naming her "Sofia"? Besides, it looks like this child is going to be Tiboro and Umar's successor, so Clea and Stephen are going to have to teach her magic. And let's face it, Clea and Stephen would be MUCH better parents than Tiboro and Umar, I would give the child 1 year to live, until Tiboro and Umar start killing each other after General Strange is eliminated. Another reason I created this theory, is that I think it's time for Marvel to bring Sofia back and expand this family even further, how can they disappear with her for over a decade? It has so much potential and this is a new chance. And of course, with this new child being created by Clea and Stephen, the bond between them will be stronger than it already is, I will NOT risk the possibility of Marvel ruining this couple again and turning them into "Mary Jane and Peter 2.0". Enough of the love drama, make these two stick together forever and have a child to take care of. If even Dormammu has a son who was born on Earth, then Clea and Stephen will take care of a child, even if it is not their biological daughter.

1 - Dormammu will kill General Strange.

What? I have to give hope to my favorite villain to do something new in comics, the guy is hungry to kill some mystical being. Anyway, this theory probably isn't "crazy", it's just unlikely, but I'm going to put it here because I want to know what you guys think of the idea.

Look, we know that Stephen and Dormammu are in the middle of a "Cold War", they are not killing each other like they used to and they are in the most possible "peace" they can have. However, one of Dormammu's most interesting lines in the third chapter of "Doctor Strange (2023)" was this:

"When I kill you, you will stay dead."

It went something like that, I don't remember the whole sentence, because I'm too lazy to remember now. Continuing the theory, we already know that Dormammu wants to kill Stephen with all the Flames of the Faltines he has, but he can't, because they are in a Cold War. BUT... Now there's a new version of Stephen Strange who is threatening to kill all the rulers of other dimensions and Umar is one of the targets. Yes, Dormammu said "I'm Out" after the attack started in the last comic, but if there's one target General Strange is going to focus on in the future, it's definitely going to be Dormammu. Even if General Strange couldn't get to him, Dormammu has to know that he might be on General Strange's hit list. So, assuming Stephen and Clea fail to defeat General Strange, who could they ask for help? Dormammu is one of those, because despite the rivalry, Dormammu has to realize what a threat this crazy guy is. Furthermore, I think it would be interesting for Dormammu to "feel something" with Umar's (possible) death, if it happens. I know, Dormammu doesn't seem to care about the rest of the family these days, but anyone who's read "Defenders (2005)" knows that Dormammu still seemed to love his sister. Yes, she betrayed him at the end (again), but I think it's possible there's still a certain "concern" within the character, something that might affect him to go after General Strange. Unlikely, I know, because Marvel... is Marvel, but Jed MacKay has already proven himself to be one of the best writers at Marvel and he is one of the best in the Doctor Strange comics. So I think it's possible for this to happen, just because of Jed MacKay and the line Dormammu said in the third chapter. Dormammu could still say something like this after killing General Strange:

"I told you... When I kill you, you will stay dead."

This would be a moment to remember for Stephen and the readers, because Dormammu is still a threat in Stephen's life. It would be a moment of "relief" for the villain too, because he managed to satisfy (a little) his desire to kill his rival, even though it was an alternative version.

Hi, so I just wanted to say something about Multiverse of Madness...

So, we all know by now that Clea has been introduced into the MCU. What not many of you may know is that in the comics, Clea and Stephen have a daughter named Sofia Strange.

Now, it may take a while for Kevin Fiege to bring Sofia to the screen (if ever) but I have a few ideas about who I might like to see playing her...

Mackenzie Foy

You may or may not know her from the last Twilight movie. I fvcking love her. Look how ✨pretty✨

Talia Ryder. Need I say more?

Emma Watson. If she played Sofia, it would probably be a more grown-up version of the character (which could work if they introduce the character via a future version of the character).

He signed on the dotted line with a flourish. "There. Problem solved." Tony beamed. "God, I wanna spend more money on you now." Stephen winked in return. "You two deserve each other," Rhodey sighed. "We do!" "So, when are we heading out? Knowing you you're doing this today. Is Fi staying behind?" Asked Rhodey. "Oh, everyone's already gathered—I just had to get you two. Ready, babe?" Tony said. Stephen stood and summoned a portal with a quick gesture. Pepper screamed while Rhodey jumped out of his chair and reached for a gun he did not have. Stephen stared at them in shock before his eyes narrowed and he glared at Tony. "You didn't tell them." "…Ooh, shit. I knew I forgot something." They stared at him. "Uh, magic's real!" Pepper trembled as she stepped through the portal. She looked bad enough that Christine moved forward to check on her. "What happened? Is everything okay?" She asked. "My soon-to-be-husband is an asshole." Stephen sent him another glare. Tony did feel bad—it had honestly slipped his mind! "So nothing out of the ordinary?" "Perfectly normal." "Hurtful." Tony turned to the assembled group. "Thanks for coming—whoa, hey, Blade! Didn't expect you!" The dhampir shrugged and said, "I was bored. And finishing up a thing in Salem." "Good enough for me. You sure you're okay to be here, though? I thought vampires couldn't enter places like this." "… …This is a city hall, Stark." "Oh, yeah. Just making sure." "You and Strange deserve each other." "I know!" "Is there anything else we should know about?" Rhodey asked, voice faint. "I am so glad you asked, honey bear. It's important you meet the in-laws. This is Eric Brooks, a.k.a Blade—he's a half-vampire who hunts vampires." "…Okay-" "You know Christine (she's still single you should go for it—you, too, Pep). This is Jacqueline Falsworth. She's our new au pair and also a vampire…mostly. Sinéad O'Connor and Wong over there are Steph's magic mentor and second BFF, respectively-" "Just Wong? Like Rihanna?" "No, no, more like Beyoncé." Fanfic idea, julsuniverse!MoM: Stephen and Tony have been together for a while. After Endgame where p*pp*r died instead of Tony, he, destroyed by the loss moves himself and Morgan in the Sanctum and then he starts to develop feelings toward Stephen. Meanwhile MoM happens but Christine is just Stephen’s BF in Earth616 (in the other universes they are together because palmerstrange is so pure!) and when America arrives she’s so surprised that things there are different.

However, as things go on Christine tells Stephen Earth838 Stephen’s has a daughter. After they killed him, she decided to take her in but when the Illuminati told her they’d brought Stephen in she decided to take the girl with her. So this daughter is Sofia who ends up being throw around when they arrived to the Book of Vishanti. She doesn’t get pushed to Sinister Strange Universe, but goes back with America to Earth 616.

At the end of the movie, Stephen and Tony adopt both girls and they are a happy family.

Hello! I've been following your blog for a few months now and as a new comic reader, your posts have helped me learn more about Clea and Stephen!

You've definitely made me into a Clea fan and though we need a lot more Clea, she has by far become my favourite character in the marvel comics! I absolutely loved seeing her in Death of Doctor Strange and right now I love her in Strange #1, #2 and #3!

I'll definitely keep following your posts! I'm not sure if you've answered this before, but please let me know if you have.

I think I saw somewhere about Clea and Stephen having a secret daughter? Sophia? I'm not sure. What do you know about it? And are there any comic issues she appears in?

Since both questions are about Sofia, I’ll reply in a single row if that’s okay.

1) Aw, thank you so much, I'm just so glad it helped you learn more about them.

Yes, yes, Clea is amazing in both DODS and Strange v3, and I'm loving Jed's take on her. She was never portrayed this way before so I'm pretty happy to see that she actually got a personality that makes sense for her.

Also about Sofia... Yes, I wrote a post about it explaing her story but it's not updated because she indeed appeared in a new comic book just recently. Marvel has several possible futures, Wastelanders being one of them. In this story, we see Doctor Doom in a journey to obtain the Darkhold and Sofia also being part of it.

Wastelanders: Doom #1 (2022)

This is her only "canonical" appearance so far, we don't have many stories about this storyline anymore. But as usual, I'll keep an eye to see if she makes another cameo. It's possible if we get more Wastelanders material.

Stephen had other children in other alternate realities but so far Sofia has been the most important one since she actually got a full established appearance in this comic book.

2) Hello CEO of Wongrange!! Thank YOU for feeding us with excellent content n.n As previously explained, there isn’t much about her.

To be 100% honest with you, I don’t like how Sofia was conceived, in the sense that I really dislike the way Clea kept her existence a secret because she fears magic. CLEA, THAT WOMAN, THAT ABSOLUTE QUEEN, FEARING MAGIC? She’s a being of magic, please. With that being said, it’s really hard for me to get attached to characters with little to none background. I can totally love Sofia if I see more of her in the future but I’m not the most reliable person to come up with headcanons about her. I do know Sofia stans who are truly out there creating headcanons and OCs, you’ll definitely have a blast talking to them! I’m not that creative, though. I tend to focus on canon and what is given to me haha. But I can totally offer a thought or two. I’d love to see a comic book about older Stephen (in the same “The End” style) meeting her by the first time. I’m really soft about dysfunctional daughter/father relationships so that would be great!
