He was once bound to his job at the Mostro Lounge through a contract, but after Azul's overblot, he has continued to perform out of his own free will... though it tends to be based on whether he feels like it that day, which is deeply upsetting to Azul (who would much prefer Cyrus to at least show up on a consistent schedule). However, Cyrus literally does not care. He lives on his own time. Much like he does with Floyd, Azul just has to deal with it.

Cyrus is Azul's voice trainer. This is a leftover aspect of the contract, from when Azul needed to plausibly sound like Cyrus for Swim With Us to activate. Post contract-destruction, however, he still serves as Azul's voice trainer "because Inky soooo needs it. Where would he even be without me? Don't ever say I'm not as generous as the Sea Witch."

The contract she made with Azul was in her sophomore year (Azul's freshman year, when he started the Mostro Lounge). It dictated that in exchange for continual updates on the life of Cyrus's ex (super messy, we do NOT have the time for that), Cyrus would attract customers to the newly opened cafe using any means necessary for as long as Cyrus attended NRC. For the deal's collateral, Cyrus gave up Swim With Us.

However, Azul was rarely allowed full use of Swim With Us because 1) Cyrus needed it to continually perform duties at the Mostro Lounge, since the contract's terms lasted for as long as he was at NRC and 2) Cyrus pointed out that Azul would have a hard time completely taking Cyrus's voice for himself, considering everyone at NRC likely had heard Cyrus sing or speak at one point. They settled on imbuing Swim With Us into a cheap Coral Sea souvenir shell-shaped pendant that Cyrus would wear around his neck and which Azul had the right to take off of him and wear whenever he needed it.

In the heyday of Cyrus's contract with Azul, Cyrus didn't only use Swim With Me to lure students into the cafe. She'd also use her magic to subliminally message customers into staying longer, buying more and more items off the menu, and tipping generously. Definitely unscrupulous business practice, but hell if Cyrus cares. It's not any worse than targeted advertising. Post-contract destruction, she's toned down on using Swim With Me to influence customers. Mostly only because the spell drains a lot of energy that she could be using to.... I dunno. File her nails and scroll through Magicam while Azul glares at her because she's still technically on the clock even if she's not singing.

Although Floyd refers to her as Koi Fish / Nishikigoi-chan, Cyrus's merform actually more closely resembles a clearfin lionfish.

FULL SPRITE:

In her human form, she bears a striking resemblance to Prince Rielle-- from afar, they look incredibly similar, save for hair shade, hair style, and eye color. She sometimes leverages this similarity to her advantage, but generally dislikes the comparison. It's been a very long time🥺 and that's why I have so many observations today!!😆

They like that everyone has eye on them, and like they're telling everyone what to do, sun is exalted in Aries afterall, but I just meant that the description people use for Leo fits more for Aries sometimes, if you got? Even the shy Aries, even the introvert Aries, will stand up if they got an opportunity to shine, they never hesitate.

🌕 it's possible that if you have moon in 12th house or intercepted, you have so many psychic abilities passed on by your mom, or like so many qualities of her is in you, maybe it's just manifest in other way, not in the way like in your mom's life it was manifested.

Everyone make way my lovely moot has arrived! Honestly, I THINK we've talked about this before. But I'm coming up with something fresh and new for once in my life so I don't think it'll be the exact same as before.

The placements

First off, we'd need you with someone who has a nice Aquarius Sun. At first I was thinking Leo Sun, but honestly...I don't that's how you roll. So, why not an Aquarius?

But you know what Leo placement I IMMEDIATELY thought of? Leo moon. I can't even begin to explain how amazing that'd be for you, like I can actually see it.

Pisces Mars. Not only is it compatible, but it will slightly balance out that Aries Venus.

Hi lovely, I like the idea of this ASTRO... THING (?) Sounds fun! I adore your intuition and your readings are always amazing! 🌟

I would definitely ship you with an Earth Sun, probably a Taurus or a Capricorn. Why? Though highly intuitive, you seem to be so grounded and practical. No one should come for your healthy intuition and your inner peace. I think the two signs mentioned above would understand this assignment the best. In my opinion, these two are the masters at keeping things stable.

Speaking of moon signs, I can’t make my mind up. Taking an earthy Sun for granted, here are my top picks out of every element:

Fire: Leo Moon

Earth: Taurus Moon

Air: Aquarius Moon

Water: Cancer Moon

All of them are wise in their own way. My top pick however would be Leo Moon. Those people sometimes get dumped as drama queens and/or manchild‘s but the evolved ones make great companions. They are fiercely loyal and make great at expressing sincere feelings.

The rising sign is another challenge. Speaking of elements, I would prefer seeing you with a Fire or Air rising.

A Sagittarius rising or Aries rising would be nice. On the other hand, I‘d like to think of an Aquarius or Gemini rising. I ship you with someone who makes an adventurous, bold first impression. Someone who appears to be light-hearted and funny at first glance. Or, as Aquarian risings are a bit more detached, enjoys being around people.

I have Cap in my 7th house but Idk if I feel okay paired with them: the ones in my family to feel a bit too stubborn/self focused for my like. I have Taurus Lilith though, so I guess Taurus would do? Despite the ones I know... well... kinda boring/strict/getting on my nerves people lol But ofc I'm up to change my mind: it depends on other signs and the person too.

Someone else mentioned Cancer Moon, it would pair with my ASC so I guess it would be good? Leo Moon... yeah if the evolved type I agree with you. Someone expressive would help me and probably also our communication. As for the ASC, adventurous, bold and funny are qualities I really enjoy (I'm already too detached as an Aqua stellium, I need someone that isn't as much as me -despite I like to have time for myself/stuff- :'D)

Now, let me think for you. Hmm I'd say a mix of Cancer/Pisces (more on the first), Capricorn and Libra. On a second thought, Virgo and Scorpio (more likely in the big 6 though). Hmm the main energy I get is Cancer, nurturing, caring... ofc may be a bit annoying sometimes but they (we) just need confirmations/love and someone to nurture. Cap would help balance that and ground them more, together with Libra (that would add to the loving side but in a more communicative way). mercury in virgo (or capricorn/taurus).

My libra rising made the choosing really difficult and I still feel bad for the placements I adore I didn't include lol, but this should be the final list✨ They're not necessarily the easiest placements to have but I love the energy when I see them in people.

💜 Something I've learned from Vedic over the time I've learned it, is if you need a better way of reading yours or someones chart, start off with a house. Then ask the following -

- What's it's zodiac?

- What planets are in the house?

- How are they aspecting eachother?

- How are they aspecting other planets in other houses?

Then check where your zodiac of that house's ruler is (ex: Scorpio on the 6th, where is pluto? What house is it in? How does it correlate to the 6th in any way?)

Then check the planets in the 6th and see where their zodiacs are. (Ex: mars in the 6th, well, Where's aries? What house is it in?)

And slowly you can piece things together one by one 😃

● For men, check where Venus is

● If you are lesbian or gay - check whatever sign correlates to your gender

The Steps

● What house is Jupiter in and what does that house represent ?

● What is the zodiac of that house/what does the zodiac mean, and where is it's ruler?

❤️I’ve noticed that people who have venus unaspected in their chart are incredibly attractive idk why???

👸Moon trine/conjunct venus is such a nice placement to have in regards to people in general but especially to the opposite sex. I feel like ppl tend to treat you more gently and kindly bc of it’s feminine energy. It gives a prince/princess charm to the natives mannerisms bc they’re so kind and warm! Men with this placement are kind of babied and seen in higher regards by women (especially older women!!) and the women are kind of protected and nurtured through men. This also goes both ways where women with this placement probably have amazing relationships with other women and the guys are that one friend who has a lowkey bromance with all of his friends lol,, It’s rlly hard to see these ppl in a malefic or fearful light.

💆Men with Aquarius venus and Capricorn Mars are top tier

🥺Aries sun men are some of the most sensitive ppl I’ve ever met!! I didn’t realize it at first but they’re rlly soft and uwu. I don’t know how to explain it but think of Eren from AOT or Natsu from Fairy Tail! They’re kind of like a cheeky kid you want to protect at all costs

🤝I think a lot of square aspects can work in your favor if there’s a specific trine or conjunct aspect that’s energy can balance it out once activated if that makes sense ? Like for example I have venus square neptune and I used to put myself in alot of unnecessary painful situation bc I had a problem with deluding myself when it came to liking someone. Yet I was always aware that the person was not right for me or the situation was toxic bc of my sun conjunct pluto. The Sun/Pluto aspect has kind of forced me to be more aware of the venus/neptune affect and I’ve grown a lot stronger through those painful plutonic experiences in love and I can see through other people’s intentions for what they are with ease. I think that sun/pluto helped cancel out my delusion by making me go through a lot of intense experiences to finally understand what I was doing and see things for what they were.

🧛🏽‍♀️Going off of that I don’t care what anyone else says I LOVE MY PLUTO ASPECTS and trust me their pretty shitty (sun conjunct pluto, moon square pluto, pluto square asc). I’ve been put into some rlly crazy situations for only being 18 but I can go into the world with a lot more awareness of who I am and the people around me. I like the intensity they bring and the forcefulness of change in my habits and life. Pluto has made me a rlly strong person in terms of persevering through life and it’s challenges. I thank pluto for that.

👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏼👨🏾‍🤝‍👨🏻👩🏿‍🤝‍👩🏼I think one of my favorite placements I have that is also super favorable in others is Jupiter in the 11th house! This may seem kind of random but the amount of opportunities and cool experiences I’ve been given through my friends and social circles is something I’m soo thankful for🙏 Friendship and just being a friendly person in general is something I’ve always found luck and happiness in and it’s so rewarding to have so many ppl like and support u for who u are! So I did the industry of these two and it was very interesting if I have the correct information for Brittany, so what we going by is there both Scorpio stallions yes, Scorpio sons for Britney and Winona, where were known as a Scorpio, Venus, mercury and sun. these observations are a lil wordy so sorry about that

i’ve got a nice theory/question/discussion for anyone open to talking about it :)

i’ve noticed that cancer placements tend to rlly like anime and i honestly think it’s because anime girls typically have this soft girl vibe and they may be rlly into that

gemini & scorpio placements together tend to be very curious and good at solving that curiosity

for example: they could wonder (gemini) why someone does something and be able to use their detective skills (scorpio) to find out what they want to know

moon in 4th overlays tend to create a long-lasting crush or that may create feelings of always having a soft spot for that person

similar to my last post, i think cardinal signs in angular houses are very good at achieving or going after what they want in those major life aspects meanwhile fixed signs in angular houses may be a little more fixated and expect certain life stages to go as planned and may not budge or give up when something doesn’t go as planned

these imo are interesting to see play out when different signs fall into different house types (angular, succedent & cadent)

for example: having cardinal signs in succedent houses can manifest as a person always trying to obtain or taking the initiative to go after themes of the houses

example example: capricorn in 2nd can show someone always working to achieve or taking the initiative to obtain monetary, material or inner needs, etc.

water signs in the 2nd house has a tendency to hoard things because it has ‘sentimental value’

having virgo, libra & scorpio influence in your personal planets is so powerful because historically, virgo & scorpio used to be one sign and represented the duality of humanity: feminine & masculine energy meshed together. libra then was placed between the two when they became separated as a bridge to marry to the two energies--if you look at the glyphs of virgo & scorpio, they are very similar but virgo is supposed to represent the feminine genitalia and scorpio represents the masculine genitalia

credits go to novembr-11th on tumblr because i read a post about this and thought it was super interesting! especially since it’s been circulating (not sure if it’s confirmed?) that virgo/scorpio used to be one sign that split into two

i have these placements with someone and we do not mesh well 😐 but 8th house can also represent enemies so idk

sun in the fifth individuals tend to be very creative and have a powerful & sure way of expressing themselves

you tend to be attracted to those that have your moon sign as their sun sign and i honestly think this goes to the perspective of the moon person having this soft spot for the sun person because they express themselves in the way the moon person wishes they do or they’re inspired by the sun person because they admire the way the sun person express themselves (that the moon person may not be able to)

although it’s important to look at very aspect of astrology to understand it, i think beginners have a tendency to look at the signs rather than houses because it’s easier to understand but i implore those learning to study houses first before planets--idk it just seems easier because you’re learning houses & the signs in one go (kinda anyways lmao)--this isn’t even an observation lmao oop

the rising is honestly way more important than people think--i used to be guilty of this and disregard my rising until i rlly looked into it

mars in fire signs tend to be rlly selfish in bed and can be pretty similar to each other

sag mars rlly like to have their pleasure before their partners

leo mars like to have the attention on them

aries mars tend to do things fast--to get themselves off

scorpio & virgo mercuries tend to have this monotone (not rlly--it’s just dry if that makes sense lmao) way of speaking--like there may be a lack of emotions because they can be logical (virgo) and sarcastic (scorpio) that people may not pick up on that if they’re joking or whatnot

tbh capricorn (degrees especially) & aquarius influence can do this too

interceptions can show what you lack (obviously)/misunderstand or what you may attract imo

pretty sure i literally said this in one of my previous posts but 🤷‍♀️

i remember an astrologer said that a theory of theirs is that your sun sign’s degree can show something important that has happened/will happen to you when you become that age

for example: an ex friend of mine has a taurus sun in 4 degrees and he was involved in a car accident where his father and brother died when he was 4 years old

an astrologer mentioned that the planet with the highest degree is the planet that is considered something you need to learn to do in your life

example: my best friend has trouble with communication and her mercury has the highest degree of all her other planets--she’s been doing really well though and learning to communicate better :)

i see a lot of astrologers frequently cover 0 & 29 degrees but usually not a lot of critical degrees such as 0,13 & 26 for cardinal signs, 8-9 & 21-22 for fixed signs and 4 & 17 for mutable signs

it’s assumed that it has a potent effect on that planet (or whatever i’m not quite sure because i don’t see it being spoken about in detail) but my assumption is that it maybe a focus in your life or more power is added to that

example: i have 4 degrees sag venus so i’m going to assume that there’s something going on there with my love life but tbh idrk 🤷‍♀️ pls educate me--i’d love to hear more about it and how it manifests

tbh major asteroids are so important to understand imo

i know some astrologers don’t gaf about them but i think they can be rlly important & definitely play a major role in someone’s personality & chart like pls don’t underestimate asteroids and their energies

i remember an astrologer stated that having a leo part of fortune is an indicator that it’s fated for you to become famous (or something along those lines)

dominant houses are important to your identity meanwhile stelliums may also be important to your identity but i personally think they carry lessons to be learned but idk this topic is very different per astrologer (this is just my personal take on it)

*just a theory and definitely open to discussion and idk if anyone else has spoken about this but do any astrologers here think that 3rd & 11th house can represent crushes as well--more like fast crushes vs longer crushes? since 3rd & 11th house can equate to your community while 4th is childhood--do you kinda see where i’m getting this from? lmao

i think it won’t manifest like 5th or 7th or 8th romance--it would be more likely to manifest as a person you had a crush on for like two weeks if that makes sense? i’d love to hear your thoughts :)

Hello! some of these may be inaccurate. i’m aware that aspects, house placement, and the development of each placement matters. sorry in advance if i come off extremely opinionated! blame my virgo mercury /j

taurus risings, myself included, tend to have thin lips with thick or ambiguous-looking noses. we literally look like cows ~ beautiful, elegant ones of course

i’ve noticed that capricorn suns are hella talkative😭like i’ve sat and listened to all my capricorn friends for hours. i love it tho LOL you guys are sooo funny and everything you talk abt is really interesting.

okay so we all know that every sag sun has a huge ego right?? the fact that everyone likes them boosts tf out of their ego. it can actually be annoying sometimes but i love yall regardless lolz

cancer rising w fire moon seem so nice and nurturing AT FIRST then once you get to know them they can be unpleasant to be around bc they turn every subject into a story abt themselves. it can feel like they don’t listen to anything you just said. (this one is really dependable on development btw)

i seen a post that said libra risings usually always crave some sort of relationship, and yeah. they always want someone. but once they realize they dont need anyone, then they can be extremely independent.

sagittariuses usually trick themselves into thinking they don’t need anyone when they see no one wants them, or when someone wants them “too much.”

leo suns, i love you and you are appreciated. coming from a leo sun. we deserve more, also your insecurities are an illusion babe. you’re human. no one pays attention to them as much as you do. same goes for virgo placements.

underdeveloped aries placements are REALLY annoying. also can have obsessive crushes all the time, which is annoying too.

if you have your mercury in your 5th house or mars-mercury conjunction , has anyone ever told you to keep your voice down? i’ve always been told to be quiet while i thought i was talking normal. its so painful🥲

venus in 9th house syastry - traveling a lot together and many discussions about your mindset. lots of new things to gain from one another.

mars in virgo may be guilty of judging others for having poor hygiene.

What placements would make someone want to argue all the time/go against what other people think, go against the grain, be different etc?

I am not exactly sure whether you’re talking about someone argumentative, rebellious, or just wants to be different for the sake of being different, so I am going to do all three! 😂

Argumentative

Aries Mercury/Mercury in 1st/Aries in 3rd: People with these placements (myself included) argue and bicker all the time. It’s a way of getting the point across. At times, they can come off aggressive and brash while talking. People might hate talking to them because they know that the smallest of differences can turn into an all-out verbal war. In short, they say what they say without realizing how it may come off as abrasive, intimidating or authoritative. It’s all about the tone.

Sagittarius and/or Leo Sun/Mercury/Mars/Dominance: They got something to say and they’re going to say. They have an opinion about everything and everyone regardless of the circumstances. They can come off rude, inappropriate or someone that steps off their boundaries. Although they might not get how it’s not their place to say what they have said, they might stick to complete silence if told so.

Fire Moons: They feel things so powerfully that they can’t express them otherwise. No matter how much they deny it, Fire Moons are super super super suuupppppeeeerrr sensitive to what others say about them. Fire Moons try their best to be in a good mood by making others be in a good mood, so when things don’t work out how they wanted, enter the BF (bitch fit) of life. Try and talk sense to a Fire Moon while they’re freaking out, it will go down like the Titanic.

Mercury/Moon Square Mars: This aspect brings the feeling of frustration and anger. These people are emotionally immature and almost everything comes off as a personal attack. They didn’t get to cross the traffic light in time, it was on purpose, they didn’t get that job, they got a vendetta against them, they were not given enough ketchup, it was a set up. They are quick to go off and don’t allow people to give any negative feedback. It’s hard to communicate with them in full honesty since they only like the good but never the bad. The lesson of the Square here is to pick your battles and be more mindful of yourself.

Sun/Pluto Square MC: These people got an issue with confidence, power, and dominance. They feel the need to be loud and in everyone’s face to be seen or heard. They place their worth on money, material objects and job titles. They will argue to win you up to put the focus back on them, they might even cut you down just so they can be higher. The lesson of the Square here is that confidence and assertiveness are silent but insecurities are loud.

Rebellious

Aquarius in 1st/3rd/4th and/or Uranus in 1st/3rd/11th: These people were meant to stand out. The way they talk, walk, stand, how they dress, what do they talk about, and how they simply go out about their day is unique, to say the least, but that uniqueness comes from a strong sense of self and appreciation for freedom. They’re rebels by default.

Scorpio/Sagittarius in 11th: Here people are rebellious for their authentic self. They’re walking statements, non-conforming, and at times a lone wolf. They stand on their own for themselves and others, when people think of them they only see them not a group, label or a clique.

Gemini in 4th/5th: Being unconventional and eccentric is a different form of rebellion. Being proud of their work, art, and contributions, no matter how out of the norm and underappreciated it is. Truly an oddball.

Aquarius North Node: These people’s life purpose is to rebel, lead and be different. Having Leo in their South Node, they’re comfortable stepping into the limelight but as they realize their true calling is to use that to make people aware and break through the walls.

Earth Moons: I know half of you are right now in shock but the case of the matter is that the Earth element is actually untamable. Because they run with facts and what actually is, many times you find Earth Moons fighting for the right thing and in the name of science. A big part of their rebellious ways is to fight stigmas, misconceptions and void “facts”.

Sagittarius in 1st: People with this rising live life to the fullest. They want to see, feel, and be in every part of the world. Although their rebellion might be viewed to be juvenile, they still dare to live to feel alive.

Sun Square 4th/10th/11th: Rebellion in here is a natural state for these people. They cannot be controlled and won’t take orders. Sun (self) in Square with either the 4th (mother), 10th (father) or 11th (society) had a bad run as a child with these specific groups/people, which ultimately lead to their constant rebelling of anyone and everyone.

Forced difference

Lilith in 3rd/11th: I am not religious but god bless these everyday victims. People with this placement feel victimized by everyone. It is a constant battle between what they think happened and what actually happened. Lilith creates the illusion of people staring at you and living in constant paranoia of who said what and who did what. This makes them drive a wedge between themselves and their peers, cornering themselves, distancing and repeating the phrase “no one understands what I am going through”, creating a reality in which everyone hates them and is against them

Gemini/Aquarius Moon: Told to me by people with this placement that they HATE having a similarity to someone or being compared. I like to call them the mainstream indie group, where alternative is an aesthetic and being weird is a look. I had one Gemini Moon best friend that pretended to be possessed in church, and an Aquarius Moon best friend that learned things, like doing rubrics cubes, just to show off. Fun people but way too forced in proving their “uniqueness”.

Venus in 11th: These are the people who are adored by the masses, and at times for no apparent reason. Ego is prevalent when the planet of love is the house of society. It brings a god complex on to the person and an impeccable ability to find 100 reasons that make them special.

Neptune in 8th: I got two words for you, fake deep.

Pisces in 3rd: They love to lie and make up things about their life. But they’re good at it, they’re convincing. This gives them a sense of power, control, and importance, which in turn leads them to believe that they’re different.
