Why did you have the worst luck out of everyone in the world? You had such a great start to your day. Your date had went so well, you invited him back to your room at the Avengers’ Compound. You hadn’t slept with anyone in months. He was so handsome, just your type. Dark, curly hair with light eyes, you were instantly drawn to him when you met him.
Things took a wrong turn as soon as you shut the door behind you. He made himself comfortable on your bed while you went to freshen up. You picked out your favorite black, lacy lingerie set covering it with a silky robe. Then someone pounded on your door loud enough to wake the dead.
“Lady Y/N! Come quickly, I need assistance.” Thor’s voice boomed from the hallway. You apologized to your date, and answered the door. “This better be life threatening.” You whisper, shutting the door behind you. He looks at you sheepishly, hiding something behind his back. “Never mind, I will find someone else...”
You reach behind him, revealing a jar of peanut butter. “What’s this?” You ask, getting madder by the second. “I need help opening this most delicious of treats, and everyone else is gone or asleep.” You close your eyes, taking a deep breath before you do something drastic like choke him.
“You can’t open this?” You point to the small jar in his hands. He shakes his head no. You grab it, twisting the lid. It pops off so easily, you’re sure he didn’t even try. Without a word, you turn around, entering your room again. “I’m so sorry.” You apologize to your date, as he interrupts you. “Was that Thor? He’s my favorite! This is so cool!”
You roll your eyes. “I’ll show you why I should be your favorite Avenger.” You quip, pushing him on his back. Loud banging on your door interrupts you once more. You jump up, flinging the door open. “Thor I will shove that jar down your throat if you interrupt me again!” You shout, expecting to see him. Instead you’re met with Loki, smirking as leans against your doorframe. “Always so violent.” He shakes his head.
“I’m sorry to interrupt, but we have an urgent mission. Stark says you and I are to go immediately.” He looks down at your barely dressed body. “Like what you see, perv?” You smack his arm. Loki is your least favorite on the team. He’s always arguing with you over the smallest stuff. He ruined your birthday this year by hiring geriatric strippers. He ate the last cookie from your favorite bakery without asking. He always insulted your choice on movie night. Tony liked to pair you together so he could laugh about it later. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that he was the one standing here.
You want to scream. Of course, some bad guy is hell bent on destroying the world when you are in desperate need of some dick. “Alright, just let me change before we go.” You turn back towards your room, Loki grabs your wrist. “There’s no time. We must hurry.” You look apologetically at your date who is awe struck from seeing Loki. “It’s okay, I understand.” He says as he walks around the two of you to leave.
You follow Loki to the Helicarrier, cursing under your breath. When you arrive, no one is there to brief you. Usually Tony or Steve will meet you there before your mission to tell you what to expect. You look at Loki confused. “Where’s Tony?” You ask, placing your hand on your silk covered hips. “About that…” Loki starts. “Are you serious? You ruined my date for nothing?” You push passed him, to the doorway to type in the code to leave.
His obscenely large, veiny hand blocks the keypad. You’ve never noticed how long his fingers were until now. What would they feel like inside you? They could probably reach spots that the men you’ve slept with couldn’t reach with their dicks. Where did that come from?! You need to stop thinking about Loki’s hands right now. The guy is an asshole who always torments you. Not to mention, he just cockblocked you.
“I saved you.” Loki tells you, smiling as if you should thank him. “Saved me? Loki, if that guy tried anything, I could’ve kicked his ass faster than I could have called for help.” Loki shakes his head, “He went out with Natasha last week. You saw how excited he looked to be near me, and I am America’s least favorite Avenger. You weren’t special. He was using you.”
You look at him incredulously. “Loki, I don’t need some random man to make me feel special. I just wanted to have meaningless sex with a hot guy.” He finally lets you type in the code, following you out as the doors open. “I could help you with that.” His blue eyes hungrily trace every curve your little robe accentuates.
You laugh, “No offense, but we don’t even like each other.” “Exactly my point, darling. It would be the very definition of meaningless.” You consider his offer. It has been a long time since a man got you off. But, he just sent the one date you had that seemed normal away to protect you. It was so unlike him. “No thanks, I’ll just stick with my vibrator.” You turn around to stick your tongue out at him, before sprinting ahead of him back to your room.
You open your bedside drawer, holding your vibrator in your hand. You were so worked up, you could probably get off from just looking at it. But, you go through the motions anyway. You close your eyes as you dip your hand under your bra to play with one of your nipples. You let your imagination run wild. It’s not you rolling your nipples, but your date. His dark hair fans across your chest as he takes one between his lips.
You pull your panties down, putting the vibrator in place. It whirls to life, as you imagine him kissing down your stomach to between your legs. He gently bites the inside of your thigh. “Loki!” You moan as the man looks up at you. Instead of your date, it’s Loki smirking at you knowingly. You jump, throwing your vibrator across the room. It hits the wall with a loud thud. What’s the matter with you? Your date was so hot and you were imagining Loki?
You went to retrieve your toy, turning it back on. It buzzed for a brief second before twirling one last time. Come on! You press all the buttons, hoping for a miracle. It’s no use, you broke it when you threw it. You lay back on your bed, having to resort back to medieval times when women had to use their hands to get off.
You close your eyes again, trying to picture your date. Instead Loki’s hands on the keypad, forever ingrained in your memory, appear. You groan, frustrated beyond belief. If thinking about a coworker was going to help you get off, there were plenty to choose from. You imagine Bucky choking you with his metal arm as you work your fingers, but you feel nothing. Steve on his knees for you - nothing. Bruce fucking you on top of all his paperwork? Nope. Boning Tony midair in the Iron Man suit? Nothing. Sam taking you against the wall - not even a stir. Thor and his hammer - dry as the desert.
You stop, your hand will get a cramp and it will all be for nothing. “I could help you with that.” You imitate Loki in a mocking voice. You pull your panties up, and slip your robe back on. Your feet seem to have a mind of their own as they carry you out of your room, down the long hallway to Loki’s room.
You knock quickly, hoping he will open the door before someone sees you out here. He opens it, leaving no room between himself and the door. You try to push past him, but he stops you. “What’s this about?” You want to smack the smirk right off his face. You look around the deserted hallway praying Thor was right about everyone being out or asleep.
“Let me in before someone sees us.” You plead, walking into his solid body once more. “My sweet girl, you must be truly desperate to come to me. I thought you were going to be satisfied with your silicone cock. Isn’t that what you said when you left me behind earlier?” You roll your eyes. He really was insufferable.
“It broke.” You motion to his doorway, but he doesn’t budge. “I knew you would give in. You couldn’t stop thinking about me could you? I saw you drooling over my hands back there.” You place a hand on your forehead, letting out the biggest sigh. “Loki, can we please talk inside?” You look around again just to make sure no one was watching. “What’s the rush, little one? We have all night.” You hear one of the doors creak open down the hall, Sam walks towards you with his head down.
He makes eye contact as he gets closer. “Just borrowing a phone charger.” You lie, pulling your revealing robe closed. Sam looks between you and Loki, smiling as the realization hits. “I didn’t see shit and I don’t know shit.” He says, laughing as he walks to the elevator. “Loki, let me in. Sam saw us, isn’t that enough?”
“I need you to do one thing for me before I let you come in.” You think about leaving right now, but you’re too horny. You have to get off, and Loki is hot, even though you would never admit that to him. “Beg for it.” “Right here?” You shake your head, he’s unbelievable. You really should leave, but you had heard stories from the people that stayed the night with him. They would come into the kitchen with just fucked hair to make coffee before leaving. You were an early riser, so unfortunately you ran into most of them.
They all gushed about how good he was in bed. You really needed this. So you clasped your hands together, looking him in the eyes as you beg him. “Please Loki, give me that godly Asgardian dick?” You fight the laughter bubbling in the back of your throat as you say the silly words. Satisfied, he finally moves out of the way. You rush inside, sitting on his bed.
“I think we should have rules.” You tell him as he saunters toward you. “Like what? You Midgardians complicate everything, even sex.” “Well I don’t think we should kiss for starters.” You start to pace in front of his bed, suddenly feeling nervous. “We should undress ourselves. And you can’t cum inside me.”
Loki smiles, “Afraid you’ll fall in love with me?” You laugh at his audacity. “No I’m afraid you’ll fall in love with me. Guys get obsessed once they’ve had a taste.” He rolls his eyes at that. “I don’t even like you. Besides, I’ve never been in love in 1,054 years. It won’t happen now.” He starts shedding his clothes as you loosen the tie on your robe. You both pile your clothes together in the floor until there’s nothing left.
“This means nothing.” You stick your pinky out for him to seal the deal with a pinky promise. “Couldn’t agree more.” His finger locks with yours briefly. He picks you up, pinning you against the wall. His head dips as his sharp teeth nip along your neck. Your hands travel the length of his muscular back. All that nonsense in the hall was worth it, even if this was all you got.
Loki continues biting a trail from your collarbone to your jaw, earning a whimper from you. Your legs feel like jelly and he hadn’t really done anything. His skilled hands find your breasts, cupping them as his thumbs roll against your nipples. You gently kiss his chest, feeling his toned stomach against your soft skin. You lick his nipple, causing him to moan against your neck.
He stops to carry you back to his bed, placing you at the top. He follows, crawling between your legs. He shoots you a wicked smile that makes you feel like you’re about to be eaten alive. Loki drags his tongue up your soaked center. The heat of his mouth as his firm, velvet tongue swirls around you sends your head spinning. Silver tongue? More like magic tongue.
Every movement is designed to drive you crazy. Every flick makes your legs shake. His head rocks between your thighs, messy curls shaking as he traces your clit with the tip of his tongue. He strokes you with his talented muscle, working you into a frenzy. Needy moans of his name mix with the wet sound of him drinking you down. His lips suction around your clit, you pull his curls, needing him closer. He whimpers, the vibration from his voice along with the perfect pressure of his lips send you spiraling. He lets you ride out your orgasm, before lining himself up between your legs.
Loki sinks into you and you curse yourself for not doing this sooner. It’s like he was made for you. You’re entranced with every thrust. He really does have a godly dick and he was showing you he knows exactly how to use it. One hand caresses your cheek, “Did you think about how my cock would feel inside you while you used your pathetic toy?” You whine as he snaps his hips, hitting deeper.
Your nipples brush against his hard chest, you wrap your legs tighter around him. You love how strong he is, how big he feels compared to you. He could crush you with one hand if he wanted to. His forehead connects with yours, and he looks down at you trembling with pleasure underneath him. His lips curl in cocky satisfaction. His eyes lock onto yours, watching intensely as he fucks into you. You’re suddenly afraid he’s going to kiss you, so you turn your head.
His mouth latches onto your exposed neck, sucking hard enough to bruise, claiming you. You buck your hips against him, meeting him thrust for thrust. Suddenly he stops, flipping you over so that you’re on top. His hands dig into your hips as he lifts you up and down on him. The new angle hits spots you didn’t even know you had. You move your hips faster, as he fucks you, matching his rhythm.
“I’m close.” He warns you, giving you time to get off of him. You lay on the bed, mouth opened wide as he strokes himself over you. His hot cum lands on your tongue, chin, and breasts. You swallow what lands in your mouth. Loki watches in awe, running a long finger over your chest, gathering a good portion before bringing it to your lips. You swirl your tongue around him, loving the salty, sweet taste of him. He continues the process until you’re mostly clean.
“Would you like to watch a film?” He asks as you use one of his towels to clean what he couldn’t off you. “No, Loki. I don’t even like you.” You state matter of factly, wrapping your silk robe around you before leaving. You run into Thor in the hall, walking fast so he wouldn’t notice you leaving Loki’s room. Loki walks out, greeting Thor. “Do you have what you promised?” Thor asks, watching to make sure you went inside your room. Loki hands him a bag of chocolates, “Thank you, brother for interrupting her date earlier.” Thor rips the bag open, putting six chocolates in his mouth at once. “I hope your interference was worth it.” Thor says between bites. “Indeed, it was.”

The Phantom of Asgard (Thor: The Dark World!Loki x Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Rumors say that a phantom haunts the darkest hall in the royal palace of Asgard, but is he truly as dangerous as the people of Asgard claim he is? You and your friends decide to investigate one night for yourselves.
Warnings: Mentions of character death
"We shouldn't be here."
"Then keep your voice down!"
You silently tiptoed, following your friend Revna, a damsel with long black hair whose fingers were wrapped around the end of a burning candle. Ingrid, whose skin almost glowed as much as her honey blonde curls did in sunlight, trembled with every step.
You met Revna and Ingrid through serving together as ladies-in-waiting to the late Queen Frigga. You were all of Asgardian noble blood, sent to the palace in hopes of rubbing shoulders with some of the most elite of the Aesir. But after her untimely passing and the war with the Dark Elves came to an end, the All-Father King Odin made the simple decision to keep you in service of the royal family. Only instead of having you serve Prince Thor or the king himself, Odin decreed that the three of you were to be educated in political science and history like the noble boys of Asgard. With a twinkle in his eye, the All-Father proposed that if you three were properly educated, then you could join the council as a division of ladies to advise the future king of Asgard.
And as a result, your new schedules left you with a newly found period of free time every night, since you wouldn't be on watch for anyone trying to harm a member of the royal family. "We're getting closer,…" Revna muttered before Ingrid reminded her to keep the candle at the level of her eye.
"I think there's a library somewhere here…" You glanced over your shoulder to find a tapestry of the late queen hanging, her likeness captured with vivid shades of turquoise and gold. "I don't understand, why shouldn't we be here?"
"This is where they say the Phantom of Asgard resides." Ingrid explained in a hushed whisper as the three of you made your way past gray stone figures depicting warriors from lore. Placed along either side of the hall, it was as if they were standing vigil while in their immortalized, lifeless state. "He resides past the throne room, in the darkest of chambers."
"That explains why no one's lit any torches or lamps." Revna grumbles before Ingrid says for the second time to keep the candle at eye-level. "My arm is getting tired!"
Ingrid continued to narrate, "I've heard rumors that the phantom is the ghost of a soldier who gave his life defending Asgard. But others say he's a monster in the palace, he'll hurt us."
"Come now," you chastised Ingrid, walking past another tapestry hanging on the walls of the palace. "There can't be a Phantom. It's probably just some trick made up by the Prince of Lies."
"Also known as the God of Mischief?" Revna interjected. "He's dead."
"I don't believe it."
Revna quickly turned around. "What?"
Ingrid shushed you and repeated, "Candle! Level of your eye."
This time, Revna rolled her eyes and simply switched hands. "If he weren't dead, then why is the All-father commissioning for a statue of the trickster god to be built outside the palace?"
"How would I know?" You carefully stepped over a small abandoned dagger laying on the floor. "All I know is that the first time it was announced that Prince Loki was no more, he was found on Midgard attempting to lay siege."
As if on cue, a powerful guest of wind blew past the three of you, sending a chill down your spine. The flame of Revna's candle flickered. "See!" Ingrid pointed behind you. "The Phantom heard us!"
"Really?" Revna sighed loudly. "Ingrid come on…"
"I'm telling you," you huffed. "There. Is. No. Phantom!"
No sooner had you said those words, a more powerful gust of wind blew past you and extinguished the candle, sending the three of you into near-darkness, save for the faint moonlight from the glass window at the end of the hall.
"Oh my god!" Ingrid whimpered. She clutched your arm with a vice-like grip. "See what you've done?!"
Revna assured her, swallowing. "It's okay…it's okay. Nothing's going to happen." She remained with her feet planted to the floor.
A shatter. You were almost certain that there was no crack in the window…until now. A jagged crack as if someone had thrown a pebble at it.
Then, one of the stone figures standing in the hall - a warrior with a horned helmet holding a weapon at his hip, fell face-first, just barely missing Revna. As soon as the statue landed against the floor, its head split into pieces before your very eyes, horns and all.
"That's…not okay." Revna gulped, taking a step back with baited breath. Her foot caught in the hem of her gown, causing her to lose balance. You caught her just in time, letting go of Ingrid while Revna held the candlestick for dear life.
You steadied her. "We have to get out of here…Go back the way we came."
Ingrid's eyes filled with tears, and she choked on a sob. "Please, please tell me now you believe there's a Phan-" She was drowned by the sound of her own hysterical screams. A second crack….and then a third appeared in the window.  "I don't want to die…Please, no!"
Now was Revna's turn to shush her. "If anyone finds us, we could either be dead, or worse, banished. Now let's go."
The three of you murmured in agreement, reluctantly promising to staunchly deny if anyone asked if you were roaming the palace at night. You hitched your skirts and scurried down the hall as quickly as possible, even though you could barely see anything in your way. Guided only by the sound of each others' footsteps and heavy panting, you only had a single thought in mind: go back the way you came here, and find your shared bedroom as possible. Before you could be caught by any guards or servants with a propensity to gossip. Your heartbeat quickened as you continued to run for your life. Suddenly, in the midst of your attempted escape, you tripped over something - perhaps it was the fabric of the carpet or perhaps your own clumsiness worsened by fear - and landed on your knees. "Revna! Ingrid!" In the midst of you shouting for your friends, a gloved hand covered your mouth.
A strange whisper tickled your ear. "No need to be afraid…There is no Phantom," the mysterious voice echoed your words from earlier with a touch of theatrical sarcasm. "Just a trick made up by the Prince of Lies."
The gloved hand remained over your mouth. "If you scream," the mysterious voice warned you while another hand rested on your waist. "I promise to show you no mercy. Understood?"
You nodded, trembling while you rose to your feet.
"Good girl."
With a wave of the gloved hand, golden candelabras spontaneously appeared along the hall, burning brightly. And emerging out of thin air was a large, rectangular mirror with a bronze-like intricate border that shined with such a luster that the untrained eye could mistake it for gold. You treaded lightly towards your own reflection.
Once again, the mysterious voice filled your ear. "Now you see me…"
Behind you stood a tall man with ebony curls reaching his shoulders. He wore a tailored black waistcoat with long sleeves, and silk black gloves. An emerald green mask decorated with gold glitter obscured the left half of his face, yet…why did he seem so familiar?
Your fingers inched towards the side of his face, beneath his cheekbone. The masked one sighed, leaning in closer so that his nose nestled against your hair while he delighted in your delicate touch. You trembled as your fingertips brushed against the smooth, unblemished skin. His hand encircled your waist once again, and you decided to be bold. Reaching for the edge of the mask, you carefully began to lift it…
"No." He said it with such a dark desperation in his voice, and his other hand caught your wrist.
"I want to know who you are."
"You already do."
Lowering your hand, you silently contemplated for a moment, allowing the masked one to simply cradle you in his arms from behind. "You're the God of Mischief," you uttered to his reflection. "You're Prince Loki."
A smile appeared on the face of the masked god, the smile of a mastermind at the end of a successful plan. Joyful yet reserved, like he already knew the outcome and had envisioned it in his mind several times before executing his plans.
"But you're…dead," you murmured, exercising extreme caution with the last word. "How could you be here? In these halls? I don't understand."
"And yet from the beginning, you knew it was me behind this mask…How, sweet one?"
Your eyes followed Loki's fingers as they glided along your arms before resting on your shoulders. "I cannot say, my Prince….I just knew."
A quiet laugh escaped him. "Or is it because you knew only one could cause such havoc in these halls"?" A wider smile on his face, the god of mischief pressed his lips against the top of your head.
"How did you survive?" A flush of heat spread across your cheeks.
"Because it's what I always do."
You blinked, unable to look away from the mirror for even a second, as if someone had cast a spell of hypnosis upon you. "And what will you do now?"
"Nothing yet." He simply said. "You are the only one who knows."
"Even the All-Father?"
Loki nuzzled against the base of your neck, leaving you weak in the knees. "I do not wish to speak of him tonight." He reached for your hand and brought it to his lips. "I promise to you, all will be revealed in time." The god of mischief then combed his fingers through sections of your hair, taking his time with every touch as if he wanted to memorize exactly how you felt. "Rest now, my sweet, for I will call upon you again. From this night, you belong to me, and I to you."
And with a simple wave of his hand, your surroundings disappeared to darkness. "My prince?" You called, looking around only to be met with silence.
Then, a single candle appeared seemingly out of thin air, with a small, flickering flame. You found yourself alone, inside that same hall, instantly recognizing the tapestry of the late queen that decorated the wall. Only this time, the window at the end of the hall bore no cracks, and the fallen statue stood upright in its original place, perfectly standing vigil.
And on the floor, next to your feet, lay a single white lily with a dark green ribbon tied around its stem. A lasting promise from the Phantom of Asgard.

atreus
in all honesty, he wouldn’t quite know how to act. his emotions would be all over the place, tears streaming down his face as his father and freya tried to help you. the coverings on your face are soaked in your own blood. “don’t leave,” muttered atreus. he finds himself kneeling by your side as he pleads with you, one of your weak hands held tightly in both of his, “please don’t go.” but his newly discovered godly abilities are still out of sorts. his sadness quickly shifts to anger at those who caused you harm. his wrath is unlike anything the world has ever seen. he won’t stop until you, his dearest companion, is properly avenged, so don’t be surprised if he returns with your attacker’s head.
Tumblr media
kratos
this man does not hesitate. in mere seconds, kratos is lifting you into his arms and calling out for someone, anyone, who can help. he avoids looking at the blood that decorates the place where your eye should be. “i lost faye,” he mutters. “i won’t let you go as well. stay awake!” everything is a blur. whatever vision you have left is slowly turning to gray as a sudden wave of tiredness overtakes your body. the pain of it all is settling deep into your bones. as kratos’s muffled voice calls out for you in a panicked tone, you allow unconsciousness to take over, and the world finally fades into darkness.
Tumblr media
thor
he breathes heavily, staring down at heimdall with such rage that the golden-eyed god realized he was experiencing fear for possibly the first time in his life. a gentle touch on his arm, however, tears thor’s focus away from his father’s devotee. his eyes drop to the deep scar on your face — a new habit he’d developed recently — before they drifted to meet your lone eye. heimdall scurries away at the same time thor’s fingertips graze your cheek.  “why do you keep me from tearing him apart?” whispered thor. “he needs to be punished for what he’s done to you.” a sharp inhale came from him when your touch caressed his strong chest, exactly where his heart lay beneath his skin. he was quick to let his rough palm overlap your gentle hand. “heimdall is a fool,” you replied in the same quiet tone he had been using. “why waste your days threatening him when you could be with me instead? his punishment will come when the time is right.” he was only convinced when you pressed a kiss to the back of his hand. perhaps, for now, he could set revenge aside.

Buck x reader - my superhero
Tumblr media
Hello, Since it’s summer, obviously hot outside 🥵 please request where shyreader is dating (911) Evan Buckley and best friends with Thor and Bruce banner. She’s a very powerful well known superhero who controls the weather - Anon💜
It had been a few months since you had last seen your boyfriend, and the avengers had been invited to an event for the LAFD to raise money for charity.
And of course they all thought it was a good idea, and you agreed to tag along.
So, you sat on Thors back as he walked towards the station.
“Doesn’t your boyfriend work here?” Bruce asked.
You nodded your head a little and looked down at the scientist.
“Yeah… he does..”
He smiled a little bit.
“It’ll be nice to finally meet the man you’re involved with.” Thor said.
“You have to be nice.” You scolded light.
Thor laughed loudly with a few others and he grinned from ear to ear.
“I will be nothing but nice!”
You smiled a little bit and you jumped down from his back, walking between him and Bruce as you all walked into the station.
“We’re looking for Captain Nash?” Steve asked.
“You came! Amazing! Follow me!” A man rushed out.
While they all followed the firefighter, you turned to the man you spotted immediately as you walked in and walked over to him.
Standing next to him, you watched what he was doing for a minute.
“Evan.”
He jumped a little and spun around, then he grinned for ear to ear and crushed you in a hug, spinning around a few times making you laughed.
Hugging him back, you wrapped your legs around him and buried your face into his shoulder.
“Oh my god I’ve missed you so much…” he whispered.
“I’m sorry…”
Buck set you down, and you smiled up at him a little bit.
“Hey don’t be, you’re a big superhero out there saving the world.” He grinned.
He leant down and softly kissed you and when he pulled away you buried your face into his chest, and he laughed a little.
Buck placed his hands on your back, kissing the top of your head.
“You smell…” you said.
“Alright miss weather! It’s hot okay?!” He pouted.
You laughed softly and you took his hand, lacing your fingers with his and you took him outside.
You placed a finger to the collar of your shirt.
“Cap…?”
You waited for a response.
“(Y/N)? Where did you wonder off to?”
“Outside, can I make it rain? Just for a little while?”
You waited again, and you heard footsteps so you turned around to see them all walking over, including the 118 and you shuffled a little closer to buck.
He quickly pointed everyone out to you.
“Woah! Woah! What’s this?” Eddie gasped.
“Oh my god, Buck is dating a superhero!” Hen grinned.
You buried your face into his side.
“Good job guys you scared her!” He huffed.
They laughed a little and surrounded you both, and you glanced at your friends, and you shuffled away from Buck towards Thor and Buck pouted.
“No come on!” He whined.
He crossed his arms and huffed.
“Looks like you’ve got competition Buck.” Bobby smirked.
“It wouldn’t be much of a competition.” Clint smirked.
You slapped the archer and he laughed, hiding before Nat.
“So you wanna make it rain?” Chim asked.
“Meet the superhero Elemental.” Buck beamed.
“Woah, you’re like the second strongest superhero!” Chim gasped.
“Right behind me.” Tony grinned.
“You wish.” Steve scoffed.
They bickered for a few minutes and you migrated back to your boyfriends arms.
“Well, I think it’s time to make it rain, don’t you?” Nat asked.
“How about a bit of a storm?” Thor beamed.
You smiled and stepped outside with him, and they all took covered.
You looked at Thor and he nodded his head, and you took a small breath.
Your eyes turned white, and you aimed your hand towards the sky, clouds building up around where you pointed.
They slowly spread out, turning the blue sky a dark grey, and you slammed your hands towards the ground, opening the heavens and rain came pouring down.
Then it was Thors turn, he raised his hand for his hammer, and when it came, he pointed it to the sky, making lightening crackle and streak across the clouds.
Immediately the hot air cooled down, and everybody sighed in relief and you padded back over to Buck, standing in front of him with a little smile.
“Why didn’t you get wet?” He asked.
“I can choose to block people from them.” You replied softly.
He nodded his head and he smiled at you, wrapped his arms around you to hug you softly.
“My superhero…” he whispered

I have a fluffy idea for you, my friend!
How about one where Loki comes back from a mission and is so exhausted that he just collapses in bed beside his beloved YN and she just holds him close, playing with his hair and keeping him company as he naps or drifts between awake and asleep?
Extra points for Loki randomly talking and not remembering the conversation later 😂😂🥰

Even Gods Dream
“Thor..oaf..can’t eat that... wax you fool.” You stifled a giggle as Loki stirred beside you, still fast asleep between snatches of dreams that fluttered between his lips. He had been asleep for sixteen hours now, completely exhausted by a mission that had drained him entirely. You didn’t think it was possible for him to look paler than he usually did, but yesterday it had been so. You had worked quietly in the living area of your rooms for most of the day, checking in on him every so often to make sure he had everything he needed should he wake. A glass of water, two pain pills and a selection of his current books lay on the side-table, ready for him.
You weren’t used to having him so close all the time, usually intimate days together were spent in his apartment. It was nice, but you missed him in all his sassy glory. But right now, sleep was more important than witty sarcasm and endless kisses. He needed to regain his strength.
Once your work was done, you padded to the bed where he lay as rain thrashed against the window outside. The peaceful allure of his body close to yours was too much to resist, even if you couldn’t wake him. You turned the page of your book, gaze flickering to the side as something caught your attention. His eyelids were fluttering, his lips quivering shakily as his fingers flexed with unfulfilled enchantments. You frowned. This wasn’t a dream about the time Thor ate a wax mango, this was a nightmare of a different kind.
The book on your lap was set down to the floor as you scooted between the sheets to lie on your hip, placing your hand underneath your head level with his. Dark tendrils of hair fell across his eyes as he lay on his side, his taunt body juddering every few seconds, making his stomach muscles clench. A low whimper escaped him, a frown ghosting across his forehead. Your free hand reached over his shoulder, gently pressing his face to your chest as your chin rested atop his head lightly. His body melted into you, the relief of contact in his sleeping state soothing as you hummed reassurances. “Everything’s fine.” you murmured gently, trailing your fingertips across the smooth nakedness of his back, “Everything is well.” “No way back” he muttered through broken breaths, the context lost in his state. “to leave, no”. You squeezed your eyes shut, holding him tighter as he flexed beneath you against some unseen torment. You wished you could take this burden from him. Steve had told you very little of the mission before Loki left, and now you knew why. “Shhhh, you’re safe. You’re safe now.” you cooed, softly, seconds passing in silence as you pondered your next words. Words you had never said out loud. “Do you know, Loki Laufeyson...how much I love you?” you felt his staggered breaths even out beneath your lowered voice, his subconscious mind quieting under your adoring words. “I love you more than I thought I deserved to love” you pondered, the whispering stream of consciousness barely forming on your lips. “I didn’t think I was capable, really...it turns out I just needed someone worth loving...even if he is a pain in the ass sometimes.” you smiled secretly into his hair, inhaling him; enjoying that he was blissfully unaware of your quietly clandestine confessions.
You stroked his curls once, brushing a long strand from his forehead as you leant back down to your pillow letting him fall gently beside you, guided by your palm.
“I love you more than the entire world. More than any one person on this planet, and more than all of them combined. But don’t tell anyone. They may start asking questions.” you murmured against him. “I’m going to tell everyone.” he mumbled. Your eyes widened in alarm; your breathing frozen. You didn’t want him to find out like this, in his vulnerable state. What were you thinking? Your belly fizzed with nerves, you felt sick. He’d been quiet too long...he didn’t feel the same. You saw his lip twitch, his eyelids still closed tight. “..you love pretty midguard, yes Thor...knew it..stupid oaf.” he finished, his words slurred. You breathed a desperate sigh of relief, followed by a twang of unexpected disappointment. Loki slept on. You leant forward to kiss his cool forehead, lingering there a moment longer than you meant to. The scent of him filling your nostrils with perfect clarity. He would sleep. And when he woke, you would tell him that he was safe. Always safe. And you would tell him that you loved him. Of both those things you were sure.

Steve's arc in Age of Ultron is so important to him, it's so compelling to watch, it's so well done. I tried to explain it with the main quotes from the movie that bring it out because I'm obsessed.
"I don't think I can afford a place in Brooklyn." "Yeah, but home is home, right?" Steve just looks away and clenches his jaw in a very Steve way. He doesn't agree with Sam, he doesn't even nod. Brooklyn, the geographical location, is not home. Not in the way Steve needs a home.
"Captain America. Pretending he can live without a war." The end comes back around to this one. It stings because it's true. He knows it. What else does he do? Nothing. He doesn't have a home to go back to, as established very early on.
"The war's over Steve. We can go home. Imagine it." And then everyone in the room disappears. And then he sees himself dance with Peggy. And then he's alone again. That was him imagining it. All he could see was a flash of them dancing, but God he looked happy in that flash. Everyone else was gone, he couldn't imagine anything else, because he doesn't know life without war. He wants to. All he can reach is a second of Peggy. But he doesn't know what it was like for the soldiers in ww2 who went home. The only part he does relate to, actually, is the ptsd. Which he also sees in the dream. He flinches at a camera flash and sees wine on a shirt as blood. What else is there after the war for him? All he ever hoped for was a dance. He never even got that. And that was all he could see.
"We can go home." He hears her voice again when he looks at Clint's house. It's the perfect image of an American family home with a big yard for 2.5 kids to play in. Completely normal. That wide shot of him standing on the porch but he's still wearing his uniform, it shows everything he wants but all that he's left with right now. He looks so out of place with his uniform and shield on. And he turns around and walks away because he can't even stand to look at the house. That's supposed to be him in there. He was supposed to go home.
"Isn't that the why we fight? So that we get to end the fight? So that we get to go home?" That's what really set him off, but the whole conversation really. Tony says "looks like you walked away alright" and Steve looks at him with so much resentment. Like how do I look fine? You think I'm fine? But all he says is "is that a problem?" because he can't talk about it. Especially not to Tony, but not really to anyone. Tony says "I don't trust a guy without a dark side." Steve says "let's just say you haven't seen it yet." He's obviously saying he has one. He's been in a bad place as much as Thor and Nat since the dreams, Tony just chooses to see him as a symbol. But he's not about to explain himself. And he's leaving the door open for the option that he might lose control and everyone might realize how dark his dark side is. It wasn't a promise no one would ever see it. It was just that Tony hadn't seen it yet. Now, as much as I love Tony, he was really ignorant for pulling the so we get to go home? It's not like it's hard to see. Steve gets genuinely mad, rightfully. He hasn't stopped fighting since he started, he's never gotten to go home, he's finding himself almost looking for fights because that's all he knows. But he wants to go home so bad, and it's not even an option. Tony wants to fight about if Ultron could save the world, and that they should take the opportunity so that Clint can go home to Laura, and Tony can go home to Pepper, and Nat and Bruce can work out their stuff, etc etc. And Steve's on the other side of the conversation, not even agreeing with the concept of Ultron in the first place, but he has nothing to fight for. He's not defending his stance so that he can go home, he's doing it because he believes it's right. And what else is he going to do if he's not defending something? When he ripped the log in half, it was a glimpse of his dark side, but only if you know what he's thinking. He's mad, he's lonely, he's grieving. And he takes it out on the log.
"The simple life." "You'll get there one day." "I don't know. Family, stability... the guy who wanted all that went in the ice 75 years ago. I think someone else came out." This is the first time he's admitted that he wanted that. Even in TFA, he showed interest but not that explicitly. Since he's woken up, he's avoided it completely. He didn't even answer Sam when he said "home is home." He's finally acknowledged it and admitted it. But he puts the responsibility on himself. "I think someone else came out." That's not really true. In TFA, he said he'd "settle for just one" girl, then that he was waiting for "the right partner" to dance with, and then he promised to dance with Peggy. While he was actively crashing the plane into the ice, in fact. The guy who wanted family and stability went into the ice, yes, and he made it very clear who he wanted that family and stability with. He didn't exactly come out as a different person. He came out 70 years later, so his chance at family and stability with her was gone. This whole time he's been distraught that he couldn't go home. He wasn't all of a sudden saying I just dont want to. He was saying there was no family and stability left for him to want. It wasn't him that had changed, it was the circumstances, and he was trying to live with that.
"You alright?" "I'm home." Yes he was. But he didn't look very happy about it, did he? He was at the Avengers compound. Tony wasn't staying to train the new guys because he was going home to Pepper. Clint was already home. But Steve was still in the middle of the fight. He's not really pretending he can live without a war when he just knows he can't. Even as he says "I'm home," you hear soldiers marching in the background. It's eerie. He's trying to get by because what else can he do, who is he if he's not Captain America? He hasn't been able to be just Steve in a long time. He's not even trying to find just Steve, he left just Steve in 1945 with Peggy. "Someone else came out" ? Captain America came out.

Thor's chambers
The movie Thor Dark World shows us Thor's chambers, but this sequence only lasts a few seconds, so it is easy to miss. I will analyze the Prince of Asgard's chambers a bit here.
Tumblr media
Thor wash himself in stone bowl.
Tumblr media
Here you can see a piece of the bowl, as well as a window with characteristic protrusions that can be seen in Frigga's chambers, in the corridors of the palace, and in the library where Odin talks to Thor and Jane.
Tumblr media
There is a candlestick in the window, a similar one is in Frigga's chambers.
The bowl is placed on a bench/chest with decorations, and we also see two dishes, one of which is mug from which you can drink beer.
Tumblr media
At the end we have a view of the open terrace and columns.
And that's it.
But I hope this helps fanfiction writers at least a little.

Don’t Forget Your Place
Word Count: 2,663
Pairing: dom!Loki x femboy!sub!Reader
Warning: Smut, sex toys, restraints, anal sex, masturbation
Summary: You decide to break one of Loki’s rules. He has to put you in your place once again.
Tumblr media
You and Loki were dressing up for a party held at Stark’s Tower. You both were dressed in all black. Loki’s eyes raked over your form, a smile on his face. One of the things he loved about dating you was your style and the way that you dressed. You didn’t dress like the stereotype of males in their early twenties. You were different. The black crop top, choker, fishnets, painted nails, skirt, and boots proved that. “Ready?” “Mhm.” He took your hand and drove you to the location. You knew that you’d be here for a long time even after mostly everyone was gone. Everyone greeted the two of you when you walked in, providing compliments mostly towards you.
You could tell a lot of people liked certain things about Loki. They just wouldn’t admit it because of what he’d done to New York. You didn’t understand why they couldn’t just forgive him and move on. He was mind controlled. It wasn’t like he fully did that by himself because you knew that Loki never did what he did, not with a clear mind. You stayed close to Loki for the majority of the party then went away to get a drink when you saw Thor approaching. “Brother,” he exclaimed. You could hear him from the bar and shook your head with amusement. “Hello.” You heard the voice of Nat and turned.
“Hey. Oh my goodness. That dress is the most beautiful thing. It fits you well.” Nat smiled, getting up to spin around. “I know right?” It was a red silk and lace dress with little black descents. Your eyes lingered a little too long on her figure and you prayed your boyfriend didn’t notice. You knew he’d freak out. Music started playing and everyone began to get up. “Wanna dance?” You looked over to Loki who’s eyes were already slightly dark from jealousy. “I think that Loki would mind.” Nat sighed. “Nonsense. You know he knows how much you love him.” You looked over at him again. “It’s just, he’s sensitive.”
You hoped that Loki hadn’t heard you. You knew he’d probably take it personally. You couldn’t really blame him though. The trauma that he went through was quite excessive. Natasha seemed desperate and you had no clue why until you turned and saw Bruce dancing with some random girl. You took Nat’s hand before finishing off your drink and took her to the dance floor. You couldn’t help yourself. Nat was your best friend. You placed your arms around her, allowing her to grind on you as she pleased. You knew Loki would be enraged but you could care less.
Right now it was about her getting her sweet revenge and proving a point to Bruce. You looked across the room. Bruce looked pissed and so did Loki. “Is he looking,” she whispered, still facing forward. “Yep, he’s certainly looking. He looks like he’ll be turning green any second.” “Shit,” she cursed. She turned around, allowing your hands to wrap around her. “He’s about to come here,” she commented. You didn’t turn around but you felt a hand on your shoulder and by the person’s scent, you knew it wasn’t Bruce. It was Loki. “Pardon me but I need to speak with Y/N privately. It’ll only take a moment.” “Take all the time you need.”
Loki’s grip on your hand was firm as he walked into an empty hallway. “Have you forgotten your place or have you purposely done this?” You looked into his eyes. “Loki, you know I love you more than anything in the world and I’d never do anything to hurt you. She just needed someone to dance with so she could make Bruce jealous.” “Oh I see. So you decided this occasion was appropriate for you to break my rules. Tell the truth or I will spare you no mercy when we get home.” “Yes, Loki. I thought it’d be okay for me to do.” He shook his head and sighed. “Darling, you have no idea how well I’m going to break you.” Suddenly his lips were against yours and you reciprocated. The kiss was rough and lustful and Loki easily dominated it.
He tugged at your hair, making you moan as you became hot and bothered. He broke the kiss then cupped your chin before tilting it. He then whispered into your ear. “I want you to take your underwear off and give it to me before this party is over.” He placed a kiss on your head then walked away. You hated how easily he could get you worked up. You were now painfully hard, palming yourself through your skirt to get it to soften some. You ended up giving up once it was just halfway gone. You took off your underwear and found something to put it in. You made your way back to the party watching Nat and Bruce kiss before she pulled his tie. You watched everyone else and settled on the conclusion that they were either drunk or tipsy.
You looked for Loki, walking through different places before you found him sitting in a chair, watching Tony and Thor have a chugging competition. He sipped the drink in his glass. “I’m bored,” he stated. You gave him your underwear and he took it, magically putting it somewhere safe. He got up and grabbed your hand. “It was entertaining coming here to witness such crazed Midgardians getting drunk at your event. However, we’ll have to cut our time here short. We have more important things to tend to.” They both waved goodbye to the both of you. “Loki, slow down. I have to say goodbye to Nat and Wanda.” “No, you don’t. We can leave now.” You snatched your hand out of his grip. “Let me go say goodbye. It’s rude for me not to.” He sighed.
“Go ahead. You only have 5 minutes before I come to get you.” You easily saw Wanda, Vision, Bruce, and Nat talking to each other as a group. You quickly approached them and said goodbye. Wanda and Nat hugged you, saying that they would’ve loved you to stay a little bit longer. You only smiled and nodded before leaving with Loki. When you got in the car and he started to drive, it was very quiet. His face was serious and his eyes were almost black. “Was it fun?” You knew by the tone of his voice that it was a trick question. “Was what fun?” “Do you wish to be with Natasha or Wanda instead of me?”
“No, Loki. They’re just my friends. You should know better than anyone that I only wish to be with you.” He placed his hand on your thigh, bringing his hand close to where you wanted it at the most. He stopped, letting his hand rest at your inner thigh, making it harder to contain your arousal. “Loki.” He smirked as he drove to your shared house. You were getting close. “Yes?” “Please don’t do me like this. I only meant well.” He sighed before making a right. “You and I both know that you want this from me and you’re going to enjoy every bit of it because you’re my personal little toy and you love pain.” You knew Loki was going to be the death of your sanity if nothing else. In a few more minutes, you were finally at your beautiful shared home. It felt like forever in your eyes.
You opened your doors and Loki locked them afterward. You went inside your house, locking the door behind you. Loki immediately picked you up, carrying your body to the couch. He placed you there then kissed you, lustfully and dominantly, just as he felt. He broke the kiss, removing your crop top from your body and throwing it onto the floor. “Go lie down in the bedroom. Make sure you’re on your knees with your legs spread as far as you can spread them.” You took of your boots then did as he asked, rushing to the bedroom and getting in the position he requested of you. After a few moments, you were greeted with Loki’s pale and unblemished naked body. Your eyes lingered on his cock longer than you’d expected but you couldn’t help it.
His cock was so pretty. “You see anything you like, pet?” You nodded your head in response, staying silent in fear of your voice cracking. He placed a kiss on your forehead before walking to your dresser, looking in a certain drawer. You already knew that whatever Loki was up to was gonna ruin you just as he said. Nothing he got from that drawer ever ensured you mercy. It meant that you were going to be taught a very time consuming lesson as to why you shouldn’t break Loki’s rules. He placed the items behind his back to make sure you stayed confused. You felt him crawl in bed, his body right behind yours. You halfway turned your head before Loki scolded you, telling you not to move. His hand pulled up your skirt until your flushed, hard cock was exposed.
“Hmm, sweetheart, looks like I have quite the effect on you. I would taste you but unfortunately you decided to be a bad boy.” You whimpered at his words, making him chuckle as he slipped a cock ring on you. “You’re such a pathetic little whore, aren’t you?” His hand wrapped around your length and he started jerking you off. “Mhmm, but only for you.” He placed hickies at your sweet spot, basking in the sound of your moans. You were already becoming a quivering, moaning mess from each touch that Loki provided you. “I’ll be back. Touch yourself while I’m gone. It’ll only be few.” “No,” you said, disappointment in your voice from the fact that you knew he wouldn’t let you cum. You worked yourself into a frenzy in the time being, stroking yourself at the perfect pace that you loved. You started to think about the ways Loki had sex with you.
You thought about the most recent time. Loki let you be in charge this time and did everything you asked. You smiled as he sunk down on you, facing forward. “If you want to cum, you’re doing all the work. You should be grateful I give you that much.” You heard him huff. “You do that again, and I’ll punish you. He didn’t respond, starting to bounce on your cock slowly. It was the best thing you ever felt. The warm that was around you and the tightness, the way that he’d clench when he was getting close. You remembered it vividly and too well. You looked down, watching pre cum oozing out from you and dripping onto your inner thigh. You didn’t know how long you’d been there without Loki, still following his instructions.
Eventually, he was back, standing in the doorway and watching as your hand trembled and shook. You were struggling and he loved it. After a few minutes, when he decided you’d been through enough torture for that particular activity, he walked to you. “I can tell that you’ve been good and did as I asked. You’re learning.” He removed the cock ring and your hand from your nether regions. “You don’t need those anymore. Since you’ve been such a good boy for me, I’m going to give you just one more punishment and then you’ll have me, understood?” “Yes.” He smiled then walked to the drawer, taking anal beads out from it. You didn’t know why you’d felt so nervous.
Loki made sure that your body stayed prepped for this sort of thing whenever you had your sexual sessions. There was never a bad incident that happened during this. You were just scared. From a different drawer, he took out a dark emerald tie. “I’m sure I don’t need to explain anything that I’m going to do to you at this moment, do I?” “No, Loki. Could you please get this over with, please?” You did your best to say it in the sweetest tone that you could. “Fine, dearest.” You watched the concentrated expression on his face as he tied your hands to the bedpost. He reached for some lube, spreading it out on one of his fingers before lifting up your skirt. He then tore your fishnets open to show your pretty little hole. He fingered you, loving your little moans.
He made sure you were prepared before slipping the toy inside of you. A soft moan escaped from your lips at the feeling. Loki continued, watching as you took in each one. When he finally had enough of watching you, he placed it on the drawer. He put some lube on two of his fingers this time, putting them in you knuckle deep to spread you out nicely. He put the lube away then crawled in the bed on top of you. “You get to cum only when I say. If you cum before my directions, I will leave you here tied up and you’ll probably have to use the bed if you’re so pathetically desperate. Is that clear?”
He lifted your body up some before sliding himself in then bottoming out just to do it forcefully. His hand rested on your chest, toying with your sensitive nipples as the other held one of your thighs, making sure you were spread open. “Fuck, Loki. Mmm.” The moans you let out were beyond pornographic and you knew your next door neighbors were hearing a free earful. “Say it again, my sweet. Let everyone hear.” “Loki!” He placed a kiss under your jawline, moving his hand to your wrists. He was going to be patient but he needed you to touch him. He skillfully untied your wrists with one hand, throwing the tie onto the ground. You took this as your chance to put your arms around him, keeping him close to you.His face was buried in your neck as you continued fucking deep into you, hitting your prostate with every thrust.
You were trembling under his touch and you were dangerously close to cumming. You knew that you had to hold off your orgasm until he gave you permission. You could feel him grinning against your skin as you twitched, your tight hole clenching around him. “Come for me, pet. Let it all out now.” You did just that, moaning at the top of your lungs and watching as your cum spilled out from you. Loki slowed his pace, gently pounding into you until you came down from your high. You felt his warm cum fill you, making a soft moan fall from your lips.
He pulled out from you and kissed your cheek. “I’ll be back, I promise.” You looked up at him. “No, don’t leave.” “But I have to clean you,” he argued. “Use your magic.” Loki sighed before cleaning the two of you with a flick of his wrist and a shimmer of green. He had enjoyed actually cleaning you up without magic. It gave him some sort of comfort to take care of you in such a vulnerable state. But he also loved when you got clingy like this after sex. You pulled him near you, taking him away from his thoughts. “I’m cold. Hold me please.” He smiled. He couldn’t help it. You were so adorable when you weren't breaking his rules. He wrapped his arms around you, warming you up from his body heat. “Do you think it was worth it,” he asked. “From the way that you fucked me, I’ll say so. I should probably send Wanda a thank you card.” His fingers ran through your hair. “Don’t do it again or I won’t be as gentle.” You smirked as you looked at him. “What are you gonna do, Loki? Make me?” Loki's eyes darkened and you knew there was going to be another fun round.

though im also critical of it, ragnarok is one of my favs especially cus it endeared me with brodinson interactions (shoutout elevator scene) but after that, i didnt like future loki portrayals. it somewhat flipped loki's aspirations, although i liked how he really seemed a god of mischief i wished for more digging into that. if i said "country boys make do" and did what what i could, then i look at loki betraying thor once more as his warped way of saying "we've come to deeper understanding of e/o more and idk how to be your brother but i want to, this is all i know." (i imagine his ass is that type in fights "IDC! LEAVE! *wants them to stay* i feel frigga was the only person who saw that in him growing up and was there).
coulson did say to him "you lack conviction"; loki's always kind of struggling with himself to find his genuine purpose whether w/ being a king or a brother.
after that though i didnt care for loki they just took his popularized character traits and made him shout them out every second "hehe thats just what loki does!" and things i wanted delved into weren't addressed, or when they were it was poorly. i only seen season 1 but its loki content i just distance from
personally, i liked loki's personality shining in ragnarok. but like this time tom hiddleston said "loki should be an entertaining character but also that there should be a shred of truth" thats how i feel. about all future loki. i think they saw the numbers that loki did in ragnarok, and then on fucked up portraying him, and his depth
hi i sincerely apologize for seeing this so late 💔
personally, during my initial mcu watch, i did actually kind of enjoy ragnarok. although i did realize it’s issues such as pretty much everyone’s characterization (but especially loki’s), the way odin’s death was… Not as serious as it should’ve been, the way everything was too Haha funny joke, korg, the racist thor/bruce joke (which i will actually make a post about eventually), etc…
i did think it was a fun movie. it wasn’t until i rewatched it for a second time, after rewatching the thor movies/avengers 2012 that i realized.. yeah, this isn’t really that good and the earlier movies featuring thor, loki, or asgardians in general really were better.
personally, i prefer the humorous side of loki’s personality more in the dark world over the one in ragnarok. he was being funny and joking around, but it didn’t feel forced. it still felt like loki. in ragnarok, to me at least, it felt very forced and off for loki’s character. in the dark world, they didn’t necessarily have to belittle loki’s character and make him the laughing stock of the movie to make him funny. in ragnarok, they did.
and of course we see that continue a thousand times worse in the s*ries.
you are so right about the popularized character traits point. it’s like when people gossip about something, and as the word gets out to more people, it loses context and only leaves the very basic details of the gossip in the first place. that’s what they did with loki, pretty much. but that a thousand times over if this analogy even makes sense.
honestly do not even bother watching season 2 if you already know about the ending. i actually do think it was a little better than the first season. it was a little more interesting as well. but loki’s characterization was still HORRIFIC. there’s this interrogation type scene with one of the newer characters, this guy who works at the tva, and i guess they tried to make loki seem as though he’s still mischievous and working on his own accord instead of a goody two-shoes, pushover or whatever. idk man. whatever it was, it didn’t work.
and also they put this scene where he’s basically crying over mobius and various other tva workers to sylvie saying that he misses his friends (the friends in question being mobius and the most random tva workers ever) ??? 😭😭😭 i really do not believe that his ass was that devastated over these random ass characters who did not care about him…
basically, his personality was still more that of a silly little english man (not in a good way, trust me.) who works in a cubicle rather than a literal god/prince who speaks very eloquently and in old english. (taking this as an opportunity to say that i miss the old english/shakespeare in the park-esque way he and thor used to speak 😔 it was so fun.)
anyway this is very all over the place and i’m probably missing a few things but thank you so much for the ask!!! it was interesting to read.

Astrid had told the truth, as always. Ophelia was not her only appointment.
Neither was she the first, however.
Hours earlier, wrapped in a fine, black woollen pea coat and comfortable trainers, Astrid had been walking through the fog and frigid, sea-soaked air of the Cornish coastal town of Looe.
The historical fishing village was sheltered within a deep valley, prefaced inland by thick, verdant forests and winding country roads. Ivory villas and weathered stone cottages were built into the slopes of the cliffs, bordered by a riot of meadow-flora and hardy coastal shrubs, the settlement split in half by the river that decanted into the small marina, and the open, pewter waters of the North Atlantic.
The place held a kind of quaint, antique seaside charm that was ubiquitous to Britain, in Astrid’s experience- a nostalgia that was just slightly foreign to her, evoking the same feeling as the second-hand copies of those interbellum novels by Enid Blyton and Agatha Christie that she used to read on rainy days at home.
She could feel Loki watching through her eyes, dozing gently, shamelessly indolent as he clung to sleep.
Exhaling a smile, Astrid consciously drank in as much as she could. She drew the mouldering, salt-stained tang of seaweed and ocean shallows deep into her lungs, face raised to the damp air, clear-eyed and refreshed.
It was one of the many reasons to be relieved to be out of SHIELD’s custody: wherever she went, and whatever she saw, Loki could experience it through their link. And she was one of the rare, fortunate few who could go anywhere, at any time, with little enough effort.
A flush of affection bloomed in her, like a kiss at the nape of her neck, Loki reading her intentions like braille.
Astrid giggled, the ache of want in her chest ebbing slightly, and glanced out across the harbour.
It was the off-season; the tourism trade withered into hibernation with the last days of August, and first weeks of September. Even so, the picturesque village obviously received a fair number of visitors in the summer months. Across the town, there was an abundance of cafés, bakeries, fishmongers, local crafts shops, ice cream parlours, wetsuit and board rental stores. A sprawling car park had been cut at the base of the hill, and a number of small commercial pleasure boats were moored against the harbour walls, anchored between algae-stained tangerine buoys, advertising sea safaris and recreational fishing trips on printed boards affixed to the weather-rusted harbour railing. A few places were shuttered, but other businesses remained open even into November, catering to the permanent residents of the town.
As she chased the slope upwards, approaching from the narrow, eastern flank of the harbour, towards the ageing arcade and stone bridge across the river, a thought occurred to her.
“Loki. Do you like seafood?”
She felt Loki stir. Astrid could almost imagine his head lifting from his cupped hand- or rolling across a pillow to look at her, black curls spilling, eyebrows steepled in mild askance.
I tend to eat more game, I suppose, he answered cautiously. Hunts are too popular on Asgard for it to be otherwise. But I do like shellfish. Although it is seen as peasant food on Asgard. Cheap fare, common as mud, to be eaten at the harbour by tradesfolk.
“It used to be the same here, for centuries,” Astrid replied, the corner of her mouth twisting up sardonically. “Oysters were still delicious when they were only good for the poor.”
Loki laughed softly. It is ridiculous, is it not? The arbitrary standards of high taste.
He hesitated for a long moment.
I do like oysters, he admitted, almost nervous.
A lilt kicked into Astrid’s step, her mood lifting.
“Oysters, then.” Widening her stride into a loping gait, forming rolling bounce on the balls of her feet, she lifted her face to the headwinds, letting it blow her hair back. “Maybe mussels or scallops, if I can’t find any? Oh- and cream tea.”
Cream tea?
“It’s, ah- like a dessert version of afternoon tea, I suppose? It’s sometimes called Cornish tea.” Astrid crossed the bridge at a brisk clip, shoulder bag tapping at her hip. “You’ll love it. Black tea, served with split scones, clotted cream, and jam. Strawberry is traditional, but I prefer raspberry.”
At the mention of something sweet, she felt Loki’s interest instantly perk.
Astrid’s victory dimmed as Loki swiftly crushed down on his eagerness, cooling into reflexive indifference.
Then you should have raspberry, my heart, he replied mildly, like fingers skimming her cheekbone.
“Mm.”
Astrid strummed her fingers against the cross-strap of her bag, tension furling.
She wondered if she could just scream I want to give you this, let me give you this, I want to give you everything, be selfish with me, just ask me and it’s yours, yours, yours, just say the word, put me to the test, let me prove it across the connection, or if that would be too blunt.
She opted for a subtler option. For now. “Seeing as we’re breaking tradition, we could change the tea out as well.”
Peppermint?
“I thought you might prefer rosehip. Or something floral.”
It’s your tongue, darling.
Astrid nipped her lower lip.
“I like sharing my tongue with you.”
She felt his train of thought stutter, before heating.
You’re playing a dangerous game, Astra, Loki warned, dark and edging into primal, shifting into a voice behind her left ear that seemed spoken through gritted teeth.
Astrid startled, almost tripping, as she felt the sensation of the pads of his fingers swiping at her inner thigh.
Her brain short-circuited for a moment.
Hm. Are you curious, darling?
She bit her lip, restraining the impulse to goad him further.
Following Loki revealing how he could twist his magic into her through their link, Astrid had begun asking about the possibilities. The conversation had been mostly practical- but the thought had occurred to her, even if she had quickly become distracted when it struck her exactly how ingenious the method was, how brilliant Loki was, how blithely oblivious he seemed to that fact.
But now- despite herself, folding her lip between her teeth in an effort to pin her unravelling thoughts in place- Astrid lingered over exactly how far and how intensely he could project sensation into her, how much sensory feedback he received back through their link, and whether-
No. Nope. Nope, nope, no. Work first, North. We’ll explore that another time.
Despite the curl of delighted, thoroughly distracted mischief from Loki, he let the matter drop.
Astrid exhaled quietly, grateful.
Today, she was visiting an old friend. It would be unwise to arrive disarmed of her wits.
Astrid swung off the bridge and into West Looe, swerving in a hairpin turn back down the hill, sinking into the warren of the town. There were only a few figures out in the midmorning light, walking dogs or tending to their boats, the quiet seeming to echo against the rush of the sea. The narrow streets were barely broad enough to accommodate a single car, the cobbles uneven and worn smooth underfoot, none of the structures more than two or three stories tall; most of them were at least a century or two old, patchworked with modern features, dating to the days of smugglers and portside inns and the great age of sail, their timbers ancient and their walls full of ghosts and memories.
She came to a halt outside a particular storefront.
The entire street was built into the incline of the hill, its rowhouses sitting a foot or so below the edge of the pavement, squatting low. The windows of the ground floor were almost level with Astrid’s crown, the sills above within reach if she cared to make the short jump, walls a washed white between dark Tudor beams.
Astrid tipped her head up a millimetre, the aperture of her senses opening to sweep the interior, as she read the sign affixed above the door.
Witches’ Brew, it read, white font upon a rich violet backing. On the left side of the sign was the outline of a cat, paws upon the rim of a bubbling cauldron to peer at the contents.
Bookshop, was added underneath, in smaller, blunter font. Tarot. Occult. Café.
You know, Loki commented, there is an infusion made from íviðia blossoms called witches’ brew.
Astrid tipped her head. “Really?” She asked softly.
Mother sent some blossoms to my cell recently- if you care to share my tongue later?
She winced into a grin, knowing that he wasn’t going to let that go any time soon. “Mm, in exchange for cream tea?” She teased.
Astrid felt a pair of arms slip and loop around her midriff, a mouth skimming her crown.
She felt the gentle billow of his sigh, the phantom of his chest against her back.
You drive quite a bargain.
With a faint smile, Astrid stepped down to the shop’s door, and turned the handle.
A classic shopkeeper’s bell chimed overhead, jostled into motion, before the door clicked shut behind her.
She was met with the fragrance of incense- a thicker, heavier curtain of agarwood, compared to the delicately floral smoke that lingered in the training halls where she grew up, and which her father preferred- blended with the earthiness of burned white sage, and coffee grounds.
The shop was quiet. Her steps were muffled by a dark patterned carpet, the space airy and inviting, despite the low ceilings and semi-subterranean position. At the right, the space folded into a geometric puzzle of tall bookshelves, walls paved with spines, the stacks labelled by genre with signs in blackboard and chalk, a few tables laid out with bricks of bestsellers and new arrivals. To her left was the register- unoccupied, with a bell to ring for service- and several tables and shelves, displaying various occult-themed wares. There were box-trays of tumbled, semi-precious gemstones, kitsch plastic goblets with dragons curled around their stems, dowsing crystals and decorative glass figurines, starter guides to palmistry and divining the stars.
Her eyes skipped past all of them, and up.
A large sign was placed at the bottom of a flight of narrow stairs. It advertised the café on the second floor, and tea leaf readings.
Astrid didn’t move to ring the bell on the counter, but the one at the door must have been enough.
“I’ll be right with you, dear!”
A woman’s voice called down from the upper floor. It was American-accented, almost neutral, but underscored with something in the region of Massachusetts.
Astrid smiled, folding her arms and turning away.
“That’s alright!” She replied, voice raised to carry as clear as struck crystal, twisting at the waist to speak over her shoulder. “Take your time! I’m here to see a friend.”
Movement upstairs stilled.
A beat passed, before Astrid felt the familiar crackle of magical wards being activated.
Loki reacted, his mana surging into her nerves with a precision that knocked the breath from her chest, pressing up to the surface of her skin, preparing to force his own counter-wards into her flesh.
Catching her breath, fingers fluttering at the foreign magic in her blood, Astrid sent him a gentle nudge of reassurance.
“Did you not hear the word friend, Agatha?” She yelled up, tone dry and hip cocking. “Your wards didn’t react when I walked in. Now would you please quit it?”
Before Loki tries to rip apart your spellwork and fracture your magical core in the backlash, she added internally.
Don’t tempt me, darling, Loki warned, poised like an adder to strike. Who is she?
The wards lingered, bristling like spines- before settling back.
A moment later, Astrid heard footsteps, and the creak of the ageing banister under new weight.
As I said. She’s a friend… of a sort.
Of a sort?
The subject of discussion halted, a few steps above ground floor.
Astrid remained with her back turned for several seconds, shoulder blades open and unguarded.
After deeming that her message had sufficient time to sink in- if it was going to at all- Astrid turned.
It had been about a century and a quarter, chronologically, since they had last seen each other- during the last of her father’s missions that Astrid had accompanied him on, before she had gone looking for answers.
The inciting incident that drove her to look for answers, in fact.
True to form, however, Agatha Harkness had adapted, and today was the very image of a modern, new-age witch.
Stocky, square-jawed, and casually confident, she possessed the mien and bone structure that would command the description of a handsome woman. Dressed in plimsoles, thick black leggings, and a cable-knit sweater the exact velvety depth of wolfsbane, she looked deceptively, cosily middle-class, her dark chestnut hair styled in a cloud of tight waves to her shoulders, framing her fair, round face and dark cobalt eyes.
“Well.” She draped an elbow across the rail, sleeves rolled back, sizing Astrid up with a wide, crooked smile and a gaze as hard as flint. “Look what the cat dragged in.”
Astrid was simultaneously reminded of a salacious, bored housewife with a mind like a steel trap, and a large crocodile sunbathing by the water’s edge.
“It’s good to see you, Agatha,” Astrid said sincerely, light as air. “You look well. I’m glad.”
She tried to sacrifice my soul to Mephistopheles once, Astrid admitted to Loki, deciding that it would be better to get it out of the way now.
She did what? Loki snarled, alarmed.
Long story. Daddy stepped in. She came to regret it.
She could feel Loki glaring into her. Because you made her regret it, or because she decided to regret it? Because that’s quite a distinction, darling.
Astrid almost laughed. His mind was always so quick.
Alright, fine. A little of both.
Jaw and mouth pursed tightly, Agatha’s eyes flitted sharply across and behind Astrid’s form, darting as dragonflies.
Astrid softened her stance, loosening her limbs and opening her posture.
“It’s just us,” she said reassuringly.
Conveniently, Astrid did not mention that us included the sorcerer-prince whose mind was currently linked to her nervous system.
Astra.
His tone was grim, steeled, but quietly restrained.
Astrid sensed the unspoken undercurrent underneath- that he wanted her out of that shop, now.
Astrid reached for him, slotting herself into his edges, feeling him shift to accommodate her.
Please trust me, Loki. I have this.
She felt him hesitate, her calm focus an emollient.
Besides, she added. You might find that you like her.
I highly doubt that, dove, Loki replied haughtily, even as he relented.
She kept silent. Something told her that Loki would refuse to see the similarities, even if she informed him of exactly how her long story with Agatha had ended.
Agatha’s expression had stiffened slightly, eyes narrowing to a squint.
“Just so that we’re clear,” she drawled, gesturing vaguely across her with a jabbing index finger, “you’re not here to check in on me, or- drag me away to some kind of tribunal, are you?”
Astrid tipped her head consideringly. “Have you done anything to warrant it?”
Once again, Astrid opted not mention that she already had a fair idea of the answer. She had made it her responsibility to know; confidence in her decision didn’t negate the gamble, and Astrid wouldn’t ignore her culpability if things went sour.
As far as she could tell, however, Agatha had been smart. She had spent the years since they had last seen each other travelling and researching and collecting, restraining herself to a few petty grudges, mild curses, and mostly harmless, mostly necessary fraud. All in all, nothing that Astrid had found worth getting into a snit over.
Besides. That thing with the carnivorous rabbit had been pretty funny.
Astrid could feel Loki trying to pretend that he wasn’t intrigued.
Agatha snorted. “Not in my book, but we both know that doesn’t mean much. Even my best behaviour means being a little badsometimes.”
“Mm. Well, so long as they deserved it, I’m happy to remain ignorant.”
Brows raised, corners of her mouth tugging into a shrug, Agatha looked pleasantly surprised.
“Huh. Well, in that case- it’s good to see you too, Little Miss Dante,” she said wryly, dragging out the old nickname as though she were dusting off a spellbook, descending the last few steps. “Now that we’ve got the formalities out of the way, how have you been for the past- oh, hundred and thirty years or so?”
“Not quite so long on my side, Madame Virgil,” Astrid admitted, satin-smooth as sugar ribbons, “but I’ve- been busy.”
The Divine Comedy? Loki noticed.
Mm, good catch.
He paused, quietly assessing- before relaxing slightly in realisation.
Aha. I see.
Astrid held down her smile, but sent its warmth in his direction.
“And what about your dish of a father?” Agatha asked.
“Not interested, Agatha.”
And still hung up on whoever gave him that watch.
“Huh. Pity.” Agatha paused, appraising Astrid with long, slow sweeps. One forearm folded against her lower ribs, the opposite hand raised, fingertips rubbing together. “Any luck, then, dear, with that little- soul-searching identity quest of yours?”
Lifting one shoulder, Astrid let herself smile abstrusely.
“Some. Thank you for asking.”
“Well, you know. I like to know who and what I’ve made a deal with,” she said, head lowered into an unblinking stare, as though wondering how Astrid’s liver might taste, “as a rule.”
“It’s a good rule.” She said mildly.
Agatha looked at her for a long moment, one corner of her mouth and eye tensing- then straightened, clapping her palms together and spinning on her heel.
“Well, since you came all this way- fancy some tea? I could read your leaves for you! I must say, I’ve gotten pretty good- or, well, as good as you can get, with fortune-telling. It’s always a bit of a crapshoot, you know. Less mess than the animal guts, though.”
Astrid adjusted the strap of her bag against her shoulder as Agatha began to head up towards the café, not even waiting for her reply.
“Why not? We do have a lot to catch up on.” She began to follow her up the stairs, drawing a shallow breath as she went in for the kill. “And I think I have a way to get Karmar-Taj off your back so that you can come out of hiding, so I’m sure you’ll want to-”
Agatha turned back to her sharply. “What?”
Her eyes were slightly wild, incredulous, and treacherously hopeful.
Reflecting briefly, Astrid supposed that she should feel a little bad.
That was, if not for the memory of choking sulphur, of her face and throat scorching with brimstone-heat, and the sound of dimensions ripping apart like adipose from muscle tissue and Agatha laughing broad and wild- just before Mephistopheles betrayed her, just before Astrid regained the strength to yank the witch away from the consequences of her own actions.
Just because she had forgiven did not mean she was inclined to be nice.
Besides. Agatha would respect her less if she was.
Loki watched her work, ruthlessly, using honesty as a weapon and the truth like she she owned it, cautious and amused and a little proud.
Astrid arched her brows, both at him and the witch standing before her.
“You didn’t think I’d come without a gift, did you?”
-
Some time later, a platter of a dozen shucked oysters in front of her, seated with a sea view and décor of scrubbed wood and clean white walls, Astrid made the first entry on her shopping list.
Tea leaves.

I don't know if it was intentional or not but one thing I love is the parallel between Thor's journey in the first Thor film and Loki's journey in the Loki series.
Thor starts out as rather arrogant and having a sense of entitlement when it came to the throne. Loki also starts out arrogant and believing it was his right to have a throne.
Thor is then humbled when Odin strips him of his powers and banishes him to earth. The same thing happens to Loki when he is arrested by the TVA and can no longer use his magic. I think, for both of them, having these powers stripped away forced them into this self discovery where they really had to examine who they truly are and what was truly important to them.
They also both kind of learn about a parent's death whilst they are in this humbled state, I guess you could call it, and both believe they are responsible for that death. Thor is told that his father has died and that the cause of his death was that Thor's disobedience and resulting banishment was too much for Odin. Loki learns of his mother's death during his interrogation and that he was the one that directed the dark elves to her.
For them both the places they were sent as punishment actually comes to be a place they care about, with people they care about, for Thor earth becomes a kind of second home, and for Loki the TVA becomes home. They also both take on this role of becoming that place's protector.
Another big part of their journey was them falling in love and I think there are some more parallels here too. Thor and Jane both find themselves working together against Shield because they have a common cause, she wants to get her research back and Thor wants his hammer. It is while working together that they get to know each other and learn about each other's lives and worlds and fall in love. It's a similar story with Loki and Sylvie they end up working together against the TVA because they have a common cause, finding who is behind the TVA. It is while they are working together that they get to know each other, learn about each other's lives and fall in love. The difference between the two couples is that with Sylki there is this enemies to lovers troupe but with Thor and Jane its more like love at first sight troupe, its obvious that they were both crushing hard on each other from the start. But what is funny is both couples end up acting like teens in love around each other.
I do think though that meeting and falling in love with Jane and Sylvie has a huge impact on Thor and Loki and their character development. Both started out as somewhat arrogant and self absorbed people, for Thor in the first movie, the throne was all about his own triumph and glory and he saw it as his birth right, something he was entitled to. Loki wanted a throne for very similar reasons, as well as a desire to be seen as equal to Thor. When they fall in love with Jane and Sylvie, they learn what it is to put another's wants, dreams and well being above their own. It becomes less about what they want and more about making sure the one they love is ok. It's no longer 'I' but 'we'. Meeting and falling in love with these women fundamentally changes both brothers.
It is them falling in love that also leads to them both making sacrifices to keep the ones they love and the new place they've come to care for, safe. Thor destroys the bridge knowing it will cut him off from Jane and that he might not ever see her again but also knowing it was the right thing to do and also the best way to protect her and earth. Loki destroys the loom and holds the timelines together himself knowing it means he might never be with Sylvie again but also knowing its the best way to give her and all his friends a chance at a life. In both cases it was a completely unselfish and pure act of love. Jane continues searching for Thor after they are separated and Sophia has said that she doesn't think Sylvie will just walk away when it comes to Loki and that she'll want to find a way to him and to make sure he is ok.
I just think the parallels between the two brothers and the two couples are really interesting, I'd personally love to see these four in a scene together, they'd have so much to talk about.

Heartbreak is a devastating feeling. It can tear you apart, piece by piece over years until there is nothing left but a hole that they used to fill, or it can crush you in seconds, stealing your breath and your happiness in one fell swoop. But what makes it even worse is when you don't realise you were in love until it’s too late.
Loki had never experienced heartbreak before, he had never known the feeling of true and unconditional love until her. But now as he looked at her dancing with another man, he knew what it felt like, and the worst part of it was that it was his fault.
He forced himself to turn away as the man’s hands traveled down her back to grip her wide hips tightly, pulling her plump body into him. He watched as she gasped but accepted his actions, her own arms winding around his neck to draw his lips closer to hers.
It was a simple favour she asked of him, one that she could only trust her best friend in the world with. “Can you pretend to date me so I can make Lincoln jealous?” Lincoln, her next door neighbour that she had a massive crush on. There hadn’t been a day gone by since he moved in where she didn’t talk about how pretty he was, how sweet and funny, how undeniably sexy. And Loki didn’t mind saying yes, she would have certainly done the same for him if he wanted to impress someone he wished to woo.
But somewhere along the way, in between the less than platonic hugging, the bouquets of flowers he had delivered to her apartment every Thursday, the kisses on her cheeks that slowly got closer and closer to her lips, Loki found himself believing their lie. That she was his and he was hers.
Then, yesterday morning, they ‘broke up’ and Lincoln came to her rescue, easily taking her into his arms and comforting her. Loki woke up today to a text that made his stomach turn with an emotion he couldn’t recognise. ‘Lincoln asked me out! I owe you big time!’
Her Instagram story confirmed she was going on a date. The red dress that clung to her generous curves like a second skin, paired with black stilettos that made her ass look incredible was proof enough that she planned to seduce the man she was pining for and all Loki wanted was to drown himself in liquor.
And of course he just had to pick the same bar that they went to. His heart dropped as she pulled her new beau to the dance floor with swaying hips and dark eyes. He knew what that meant and it was killing him. Why now? Why did he have to realise that he was stupidly in love with his best friend when she was getting the thing she truly wanted and could make her happy?
He left without getting a drink.
——————
Y/N was getting worried. Loki hadn’t texted her in days. She knew he was ok, he had been active on Tumblr and Insta but whenever she called him, it went straight to voicemail. Her last straw was when Thor mentioned that his brother hadn’t left his apartment in days, getting him to do his grocery shopping so he didn’t have to go out.
The trip to his flat went by too slowly for her liking. Every second that passed was like torture, she couldn’t help but imagine everything that could have happened to him. Her heart pounded loudly in her ears with each step up his building. She didn’t bother knocking, knowing he would probably refuse to answer if he knew it was her.
The apartment was darker than usual with his black out curtains drawn and the lights off save for a few candles scattered about the place. It was like walking into a funeral. An air of grief and despair hung heavily over the room like an early morning fog.
“Thor, I have already told you, I am not leaving. I am content to stay here until I see fit.” His melodic voice was raspy and sounded disused, as if he hadn’t spoken for days. “It’s not Thor.” She called back.
Loki emerged from the darkness and she gasped. His pale face was gaunt and haunting, with almost bruise-like dark bags under his blue eyes, it was apparent he had not slept for at least half a week. His black hair was greasy, haphazardly tied up in a fashion that was so unlike himself. “Why are you here?” It came out as a snarl, a tone he had never used with her before.
“You haven’t been answering your phone.” He scoffed, turning his back to her. “I didn’t think you’d care.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” She followed after him into his bedroom, determined to know what was going on. Loki didn’t even look at her, only returning to his bed much like a petulant child would after a tantrum. “Leave.”
Y/N crossed her arms over her ample chest and glared down at him. “I can’t leave knowing you’re angry at me. You know that.” But he didn’t answer. “Loki, what’s going on with you? Have I done something to make you upset?” The mattress dipped as she sat at the foot of it, placing her hand a few inches from his long legs.
“Loki please.” She begged. “It’s nothing.” He murmured, pressing his face into one of the many pillows by his head. “It’s obviously not nothing for my best friend to stop talking to me.”
“Friend.” He spat out the word like it was dirty.
“All right seriously, what the fuck is happening? Do you not want to be friends anymore, is that it?” she huffed, thoroughly confused and hurt for her best friend.
“Yes.” He hissed as venomously as he could, yet he still refused to meet her gaze, terrified of the emotions that swirled in the depths of those e/c’s.
Y/N’s breath hitched and she felt her through tighten with tears. “Loki.” She said his name so softly, filled with so much concern and hurt, it made his chest ache. He could feel his resolve crumbling, wanting to spring out of bed, tell her it was just some cruel joke and go back to how they were before.
But his heartbreak was too much and he knew that it would destroy him even more to have her so close but so far away, to watch her fall in love with someone else as he was trapped in her orbit, destined to burn out and self-destruct.
“Y/N, just go.”
“Just tell me why, you owe me that much.”
“I don’t owe you anything!” His rage burned brightly as he rose from the bed. “I don’t owe you anything because I have already given everything to you! My heart, my soul, my love, my happiness. All of it is yours and yet you still want more!”
Y/N stopped breathing as he continued to speak, tears building up in her water line. “I am yours! I have been yours for years, since the moment we met! I have never asked for anything in return but now I am. So please, please leave me. Do not hurt me even more.” She had only seen Loki cry once before, when his mother had passed away. But his silent sobs all those years ago were nothing compared to this.
The blue of his irises stood out against the bloodshot red of his eyes, shining in the low light of the room. His body trembled with sobs as he desperately begged her to listen to him. She couldn’t move, both terrified of how hurt her best friend was and what he was admitting to her.
“If you have any kind of love for me, leave.” He pleaded. Long arms curled around his lanky torso as a sort of comfort, his gaze dropping to the floor.
His body sagged in relief when he heard the bedsprings creak as Y/N lifted herself from the mattress. Tears still rolled down his slim cheeks, wetting the old sleep shirt he had not taken off for days. A soft touch against his sharp jaw made him gasp, his eyes shooting up.
Y/N stood before him, her own cheeks wet with tears. “How can I leave knowing that the man I love with all my heart is in such pain?”
Tentatively, she took a step forward, their bodies now pressed together in a way that they had only dreamed about before. And when Loki didn’t move away from her, Y/N allowed her other hand to cup his other cheek, slipping away his tears with her thumb. “Loki, you are my light, my life, the air I breathe. I have wanted to love you for years yet was too scared to tell you and for that, I am sorry.”
His cold palms held her wide hips, squeezing gently, like he was making sure this wasn’t all some cruel dream his mind conjured up. “I never wanted to hurt you but I have. I will do whatever it takes to make it up to you.”
“Don’t see Lincoln again.” He whispered, lowering his face to her own, blue eyes fixed on her lips.
“I’ll find a new place to live.” Her voice was a mere murmur, breathy and sultry.
“Tell me you love me.” The tips of their noses brushed together.
“I love you more than anything.” Their lips were almost touching.
“Kiss me.”
As their lips finally met in a long overdue kiss, the shattered pieces of their hearts sewed themselves together, tangling in each other. The torn edges smoothed over with true and unconditional love, glued with care, never to be broken again.

Trick or Treat? More like Trick and Treat!
Tumblr media
A/N: Cutest little drabble idea came to mind and I couldn't help but to write it. Just in time for Halloween and @eiyun 's Spooky Sports Collab! Thank you for such a cool collab idea 😊 Also have to thank @prettyiwa for sparking this newfound love for Mochi.
Word Count: 900
Warnings: F!Reader who dresses up as Black Widow from the Avengers. F!Reader is also a fellow second year and is friends with Kuramochi and Miyuki.
Tumblr media
"Hurry up slow pokes! We have to hurry up before all of the good candy is gone." Kuramochi complains, clearly walking ahead of the group causing the Iron Man to chuckle.
"Of course no one is going to be as fast as you. I'm sure you could run circles around Sawamura." Miyuki speaks up, making sure to get a rise out of Thor Sawamura, who desperately wanted to be Iron Man and is struggling with his lighter and longer locks.
"I can beat you Kuramochi-senpai! I run with tires all day. You're on!" Sawamura yells, causing several trick or treaters to look in the superhero's direction. You run a hand through your short copper wig as you glare at Miyuki.
"Why would you antagonize him? You know he won't back down from a challenge."
"Well Black Widow, it is called Mischief Night after all." He smirks and you shake your head. You two were in your own little world as Hawkeye Haruichi and Loki Furuya try to get Sawamura to calm down.
"I should have never agreed to do this with you. Why did you even ask me to come to this? Because you couldn't babysit them yourself?" You sass, questioning Miyuki. His eyes light up with a glint of mischief as his smirk grew three sizes like the Grinch's.
"Nope, it's not that." He says, intentionally stopping short. You wait for him to continue but he doesn't.
Suddenly Mochi appears at your side as he places a gentle, green hand on your shoulder. You look to study his face and note that his playful smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes.
"Is he bothering you? Or is he just being himself?" He asks with a slightly annoyed tone in his voice, very protective with his big Hulk build.
"Just being himself. All good Kuramochi. Now let's get some candy!" You cheer before running off so the guys could come catch up to you.
For the rest of the night, you all went from house to house, receiving delicious treats and praise for your themed group outfits. At the end, you all gather in Miyuki's room to showcase your spoils, offering laughs and trades for your favorites. Things slowly start to wind down and you need to head back to your place.
"Alright guys I think I have to call it a night. It was fun!" You smile, starting to gather your things. The group goes eerily quiet and it takes you a few seconds to notice. Turning around, you see Kuramochi stand up.
"It's late and dark out, so I'll walk you back." He offers kindly, despite his eyes twitching as he no doubt desperately wants to stop Miyuki and Sawamura from giggling but you pay it no mind.
"That would be great, thanks!" You chirp happily before waiving by the rest of your friends. Kuramochi offers a chill goodbye to the group and Sawamura can't help himself.
"Good luck Kuramochi-senpai! Keeping her safe on the walk home I mean!" Then Miyuki joins in. "Yes make sure you don't drop any candy, especially kisses." It takes every ounce of self-restraint for Kuramochi to not kill his best friends.
"We won't! They're my favorite after all." You reply innocently, causing the guys to bust out laughing. Before you can even ask, Kuramochi takes your hand in his and kindly pulls you out the door, eager to have the cool nighttime air on his flushed skin.
Going into the night, you start on the path to your place hands still intertwined. It was peacefully quiet and you always liked Kuramochi's company. He could be a little rough around the edges but he was always sweet and caring at his core. You feel him get a little twitchy and look up at him with concern.
"Everything okay? You look like you're thinking hard about something." You say softly and you can tell he's trying to figure out what exactly to tell you before determination crosses his face.
"Yeah I'm good. Just thinking about how I'll wrestle Sawamura later." He smirks and you laugh.
"Don't go too hard on him. You know he means well. But Miyuki? Go wild." You chuckle before arriving at your door.
"I do have one more thing for you though. Go inside?" He asks and your eyebrow raises with suspicion. Still, you listen and open your door and step inside before closing it. A series of three knocks hits your door and you open it again to see Kuramochi striking a pose, flexing his biceps as he says, "Trick or Treat!"
You laugh, "Oh the Hulk at my door? How unexpected. I suppose our Trick is up so I'll give you a Treat." You both grin as you lean in for a kiss. He cups your cheek tenderly, adding a soft pressure on your lips.
"We'll tell them tomorrow. Let them feel proud of themselves before we tell them we've been dating for a month." You grin mischievously and Mochi throws his head back in laughter.
"This is why I like you! Can't wait to see their faces. Best Halloween ever."

I just realized something... Is DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE the first R-rated Disney film to be released as... A Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures movie?
And NOT as a... 20th Century Studios, Searchlight, Touchstone, or Hollywood release?
Marvel Studios movies never open with a Disney Pictures logo, nor does such a logo appear in trailers/promo materials for those movies. The only mention of Disney as the movie's distributor, ever, is in the credits. Particularly the title card saying "Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures". You know, when the movies aren't making references to Disney movies/theme parks. (i.e. "I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!")
THE AVENGERS and IRON MAN 3 were the first Disney-distributed Marvel movies, both of which opened with Paramount and Marvel Studios logos per a contractual agreement. Paramount had been distributing the MCU movies - sans 2008's THE INCREDIBLE HULK - up until the switchover. Disney bought Marvel in 2009, and distribution was out of Paramount's hands shortly thereafter, but for whatever reason, they retained their logo on those two films specifically. I guess this was because AVENGERS and IRON MAN 3 were already in development before the Disney buyout, IRON MAN 2 was already being filmed with a third one expected. THOR and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER had yet to be released. They both debuted in mid-2011, and sequels weren't announced until after they came out. A second THOR and a second CAPTAIN AMERICA movie were Disney greenlights. Starting with THOR's sequel - THOR: THE DARK WORLD - in fall 2013, the movies would open with the Marvel Studios logo only.
That'll likely be the case with DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE, though I wouldn't put it past the movie to - in an irreverent sense - have a Disney castle logo at the beginning. Deadpool narrating "Yeah, this is Disney and it's rated R! Buckle up, kids!" They already made similar jokes in that recently-released trailer.
It's really weird to think that Disney can't do R-rated "Disney" movies.
Other studios/companies don't have that problem. Universal, Warner Bros., Paramount, etc. It's all part of the collection for them. With Universal, the Minions can co-exist with Michael Myers. In Paramount-land, Dora the Explorer can share the space with Ghostface. For Disney, it was always through alternate names like Touchstone and Hollywood Pictures, or through whole-ass studios like 20th Century Studios, Searchlight, and Miramax.
Tumblr media
Nowadays, Hulu is essentially merged with Disney+, and Disney+ houses plenty of R-rated things. That is, of course, if you are using an adult profile. But even in the theme parks, like for example - The Great Movie Ride, that had a whole section devoted to ALIEN. And that was before Disney bought 20th Century Studios and the ALIEN franchise. And Disney films have referenced R-rated things, before. It's kinda weird, really... Disney... A person's SURNAME, associated with strictly family-friendly stuff.
After Disney created the Touchstone Pictures banner in 1984, it seemed unlikely that they would ever do a PG-13 movie. They stuck with G and PG, and some of those PG movies had a special Walt Disney Pictures logo at the start of them, too. A black background with blue serif text... No castle. But then lo and behold, in 2003, they released PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL... Since then, not counting Marvel and Star Wars movies, they've released 14 more - many of which being PIRATES sequels or theme park adaptations - in addition to a filmed HAMILTON performance on Disney+.
So... It kinda begs the question... Could Disney possibly just go all-in for the first time... and release an R-rated movie?
The MPAA rating system was created in 1968. Disney in 1968 were already concerned with being family-friendly. Proudly so. That shift began to take place back when Disneyland was opening in the mid-1950s, when Walt Disney was transforming the enterprise's image. What was once the trailblazing, sometimes edgy studio was now a family entertainment company. A show on TV every Sunday, a theme park for kids of all ages, and movies that played to mothers. (To Walt's estimation: Mothers took their families to movies, and also told their friends, and their friends told their friends-) It was to the point where Walt himself was frustrated. When he had seen TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, he stated he wished he could've overseen a movie like that...
So, Disney stayed in the family-friendly corner after Walt's passing in 1966 and after the creation of the rating system two years later. The 1970s was a period of auteur-driven films, challenging pictures that upended the status quo, brought heavy topics and themes to the table, shocked audiences even... Disney was mostly making movies like THE BAREFOOT EXECUTIVE and GUS. All G-rated affairs, and following tried and true formulas. Interestingly, when preparing the 1950 classic TREASURE ISLAND for re-release in 1975, Disney weren't too pleased when the picture received a PG rating for its violence... So, they recut it to get a G rating. That's how it ran in 1975 in theaters, and interestingly that was the only version that was available on video until 1992.
It took Disney over a decade to make a PG movie of their own (THE BLACK HOLE in 1979, not counting their distribution of the independent movie TAKE DOWN earlier that year), back when the rating actually meant what it meant. After being launched in 1984, Touchstone was largely meant for PG-13 and R-rated affairs, with the occasional PG movie here and there. For every SPLASH and DICK TRACY, there was a BLACK CAULDRON or HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS. So it was kinda on-and-off there, it depended on the content and tone of the movies, I suppose.
Then it took Disney 19 years to make a PG-13 "Disney movie"...
I guess for an R-rated "Disney movie" to work... Tweak the Disney logo so that it doesn't appear all family-friendly in that distinctive font? Don't have the logo appear anywhere on promo materials? Come up with a Touchstone-esque name for Disney movies that get the R-rating? What the hell would you call that anyways, haha. Can it even be feasibly done without unsuspecting parents taking their kids to see it?
If it ever happens, it'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
