i can’t believe october is nearly over. actually i can’t believe how time passes in general. i don’t even feel like my age, years keep passing like wind and i don’t want to realise someday that i am too late to things.

Revising for my upcoming periodical tests. 🍊

5th December - Are you usually busy during winter?

Yes, especially during the high school years.

6th December - Do you get a break from school/uni/work during winter?

Usually, yes. But our school often gives us a break in November so if that happens, no breaks in December.

7th December - How do you stay motivated during winter?

I usually convince myself to finish task A so that I can read another chapter of my current read or drink something hot and sweet. The key is to bribe your mind.

8th December - When should people start preparing for, decorating and celebrating Christmas?

Anytime which they deem as fit! Usually, early December, it is.

9th December - What do you usually do during the holidays?

Me mostly visit our grandparents but for the past few years, we just stay at home (because, school). So, I read!

I’m pretty tired not going to lie. I have been struggling with chronic fatigue lately and some other weird things with my physical health that I am still needing to figure out. Mentally, I have been anxious af which is just a losing battle in general but there’s not much I can do about that. But overall, I am okay.

Helloo! I’m a new follower and omg memoirs of a geisha is one of my favourite books!! what do you think of it so far ?

hello there 🌿 in fact, I already finished it! i think it is amazingly written and the story is incredibly emotional. I was worried at first for its representation (you know, for being written by someone not related to the culture he describes and all the controversy that followed the publication of the book), but reading it without having those factors into consideration I can honestly say that it is extraordinary.

The plot was so consistent, the development of the characters was very carefully crafted and the story had several plot twists that kept me reading. Oh, and the descriptions! I've never been a big fan of long descriptions (my short attention span does not work well with them), but this one managed to make such poetic descriptions that I felt like I was reading a directly from a person's heart. Very nice indeed!

are you a homebody?

not completely — I do like being outside or going to the city — but I enjoy spending lots of time at home so it’s not completely awful for me to be inside all the time.

an event you were looking forward to that got cancelled?

not yet... I’m worried that bts’ concert in london will get cancelled, but it looks like the situation might clear up by then, and if it doesn’t they will postpone it so I’m not too worried. I also got a work placement at the heritage centre for july, but that’s been postponed. still, it’s all for the best.

what movies have you watched recently?

none, I haven’t watched a film in ages

what shows are you watching?

I’m rewatching my two favourite series, this country and miranda

what music are you listening to?

bts, younha, taeyeon, dough-boy, red velvet, ikon, sunmi (the same as ever)... I’ve also got into sitar music lately since we started studying it in music.

what are you reading?

what are you doing for self care?

doing yoga every morning — I had been neglecting this but no I have more time I’ve been doing it again, and it makes me feel so much better — keeping my room clean and cosy, watching a series or some videos every evening wrapped in a big blanket with some hot chocolate, listening to music.
