Marry Me
Tumblr media
Summary: Once upon a time, you dreamed of marrying your girlfriend of two years but she broke up with you before you had the chance to ask her for her hand. Now with a wedding invitation in your hand, she's getting married but she's not marrying you.
Pairings: Past!Wanda Maximoff x reader, Yelena Belova x reader
Warnings: mention of cheating, angst with a happy ending, modern AU, no powers/Avengers, Starks aren't dead and decent parents lol
Word Count: 4.4k
‘Together with their families Wanda and Vision invite you to their wedding,’ the world around you seemed to become white noise. You didn’t hear your roommate talk about some guy that stood her up or the weatherman talking about the weather. Nothing else seemed to matter. “Are you listening to me?” No, you weren’t. That’s what you wanted to say but you stayed frozen, unable to speak. Sarah snatched the invitation out of your hand. You didn’t bother to stop her. “No fucking way this bitch invited you to her wedding,” Sarah had strong feelings about the ending of your relationship with Wanda. She had every right to be upset as she was the one to mend the broken pieces. “Are you going?”
“Fuck Sarah I don’t know,” you glanced at the time on the stove. “And I do not have time for this.” You were supposed to have a quick lunch at home and then return to the office for a meeting with important investors. Being blindsided by an invite to your ex-girlfriend’s wedding was something you didn’t have time for. “I have to go. Just leave it on the fridge,” you grabbed your backpack. Lunch was a protein bar and a banana.
“Hey, dumbass,” you stopped at the door, turning to face your roommate. “I love you.” You rolled your eyes.
“Love you too, dumbass.” You walked out of your apartment, not bothering with the elevator. It was a beautiful sunny day, a stark contrast to the emotions that were swirling inside of you. Once upon a time, you dreamed of marrying Wanda. You were together for 2 years and knew every detail of how she wanted the wedding to be. It would be out in the country, not too many people to save on money. Maybe on an apple orchard or magnolia trees surrounding the ceremony. You would have given her everything, no matter the cost, and you were looking at rings to buy. Then she broke up with you. It was rather sudden, out of the blue, and she never gave you a good enough explanation. She told you that she fell out of love with you. A month later, she and Vision started dating. Sarah figured she was cheating on you. You couldn’t stomach that possibility.
“Nice of you to finally show up,” Tony said as the elevator’s door opened to his office. You rolled your eyes and sat down in the empty chair in front of his desk. You gave Pepper a small smile.
“I’m technically early,” you opened the protein bar. “I got distracted at home.” Tony sent a questioning look to his wife.
“Do you want-?”
“No,” you cut him off. “Let’s begin.” You got out your tablet and the meeting began without a second thought. You were the Chief Entrepreneur of Stark Industries. Your parents were close friends with the Starks and you and Tony grew up together. He was the brother you never had. So when Howard stepped down as Executive Chairman, Tony took over and promoted Pepper to CEO and you to Chief Entrepreneur. You were responsible for managing a portfolio of entrepreneurs. Your team was the future of Stark Industries, taking on risks and coming up with new products while Pepper ran the company. You didn’t envy her job and you loved working here. It was the best part of your day. However, it got uncomfortable and awkward when you had to deal with the CFO, who happened to be Vision and Tony’s brother.
They weren’t related by blood but you knew that made no difference, you were close with Natasha and Yelena. Howard and Maria adopted Vision when you and Tony were in high school. He was two years younger than you. You remembered the day when Vision and Wanda announced their relationship so clearly. Tony dragged you into his office and asked if you wanted him to fire Vision and kick his ass. You told him that it wasn’t necessary. You were professional and respectful with the man. It was rare that your paths crossed. You only had to be in the same room as him during company-wide meetings or meetings with investors. Of course, you had one today. The universe was testing you.
Once Tony concluded the meeting, you and Pepper left his office. It was rare that he came to these types of meetings as he trusted you and Pepper to make the right calls regarding the company. You both stopped to make a quick coffee. “Can I ask you something?” She nodded. “Are you helping Wanda with her wedding?”
“She’s asked me for some advice here and there,” she looked at you curiously. “Why?”
“Do you know why she invited me then?” In hindsight, you probably should have waited for the CEO to not be taking a sip of her coffee before dropping the news. She coughed, choking on the hot liquid. You bite your lip, trying to get your laughter under control, and rubbed her back to help her calm down. “Sorry.” You giggled. She waved you off and wiped her mouth with a napkin.
“It’s fine,” she cleared her throat. “She invited you to her wedding.” You nodded as you continued on your way to the board room.
“I got the invitation today,” you said. “It was why I was late, kind of took me by surprise.” You took a sip of your coffee.
“Shit, I don’t blame you,” you giggled. You loved Pepper. She was a perfect fit for Tony. She was the only one that could reel in your brother’s energy. “Are you going to go?” You didn’t answer. “Tony is Vision’s best man and I know Wanda asked Natasha to be her maid of honor.” You weren’t surprised by that. Natasha was the reason Wanda was part of your workgroup and how you met her. The redhead held onto a lot of guilt because of what happened. You didn’t blame her.
“Not sure, Pep. We will see,” you saw Yelena and Natasha waiting for you and you quickened your pace. Natasha was the Chief of Staff and the first person you hired when you got promoted. She helped you manage executive goals and you trusted her to oversee projects you didn’t have time for. You worried when your relationship ended with Wanda your friendship would the redhead was going to be jeopardized. It wasn’t and a huge weight was lifted off your shoulders. “Are you ready?” You asked Yelena when you got closer. The blonde was the reason you were having the meeting. She was a new hire but there was no limit to the ideas she had. Her latest project would partner Stark Industries with Wakandans International to develop a better prosthetic.
“I think I’m going to throw up,” her Russian accent took you by surprise when you first met her as Natasha introduced her as her sister. You laughed, shaking your head.
“Don’t be nervous,” she gave you a pointed look. “Come here,” you dragged her away from her sister and Pepper to a more private area. “You are going to kill it today. Do you know why?” She shook her head. “Because you have a passionate for this project on a level I’ve never seen before,” she began to smile. “And you have the support of everyone at this company, okay?”
“Okay,” you smiled.
“Just go in there and speak with the same passion you had when you explained it to me and you’ll do great.”
“Thank you. I appreciate you having some much faith in me,” you put your hand on her shoulder and squeezed it.
“No need to thank me,” you brought her back over to her sister with her hand still on her shoulder. You didn’t miss the questioning look the redhead sent you and you removed your hand quickly. “Shall we?” You opened the door for your group and everyone found their seats to wait for the others.
The meeting went…okay. You introduced everyone to Shuri, T’Challa, and Okoye. You’ve spoken to the trip on the phone but it was nice to meet them in person. Yelena began to present her research and the importance of the partnership but Vision questioned every little thing to an annoying degree. You understood it was his job to understand how this would affect the company financially however it was starting to piss you off. Even Yelena knew he was getting on your nerves as you tirelessly defended everyone in your group. The glares he was sending your way weren’t helping. Was there trouble in paradise?
In the end, the deal was signed and work with the Wakandans could being. Plus, you didn’t murder your ex’s fiance so it was a win-win in your book.
*
You loved when a new deal was signed. It meant an influx of projects for your team to work on and more people to help. But the first day was meant with paperwork, scheduling, and delegating responsibilities. And meetings. So many meetings. You were tired, hungry, and in desperate need of a beer. You were putting on your headphones as you exited the elevator and headed for the door but a voice calling out your name caused you to stop. It was a voice you knew so well. “Wanda,” you said as your ex-girlfriend approached you. She looked good, wearing a long dress that touched the ground. Her hands were resting in front of her and she was playing with the rings that were on her fingers. A tale sign of her anxiety. “What are you doing here?” You questioned.
“Waiting for Vision,” Right. Of course, she was. That was a stupid question. “He said you and Yelena closed on a big deal.”
“We did,” you said. “Yelena did a majority of the work. I just guided her in the right direction.” You saw a strange emotion flash across her eyes. It was gone as quickly as it came so you couldn’t place it.
“Well congratulations,” you smiled as your thanks. An awkward beat of silence passed between you two. God, you didn’t know how to get out of this conversation. “Did you get your invitation?”
“Uh yes, I did,” Great. This is exactly where you didn’t want this conversation to go. “It was beautifully designed.” It wasn’t a total lie, you just had no memory of what it looked as you stared at the tagline - ‘Wanda and Vision invite you.’ Wanda and Vision. She wanted to get married but she wasn’t marrying you.
“Do you think-” your name being called out cut her off and you turned towards the sound. It was Yelena. You didn’t realize the blonde was still at the office and you never been more excited to see her.
“Ugh,” she groaned. “I didn’t think you were going to wait for me.” She said as she got closer. “Oh hi, Wanda.” The blonde plastered a fake smile on her face.
“Hi Yelena,” the smile on Wanda’s face was strained. Yelena looked at you.
“Ready to go get drinks?” Drinks? Her green eyes said a lot more than her simple statement. She was giving you an out. You made a mental note to increase her yearly bonus.
“I am,” you smiled at your ex. “It was good seeing you, Wanda. I’ll see you around.”
“Of course,” she said. “Congratulations, again. You both deserve to celebrate.” Yelena linked her arm with yours.
“Bye Wands,” the blonde dragged you to the door. When you both stepped outside and you were out of sight, Yelena dropped her arm. “Boy, you could feel the tension in the lobby.” You let out a relieved sigh.
“Thank you for the save,” you said. “I owe you one.” She shrugged.
“Don’t mention it. I do it a lot for Kate and America when we go out. It’s second nature,” she started to smile. Oh, that smile was trouble. “Buuuut, if you want to make it up to me I know of a bar that is close by. We do have something to celebrate.”
“Hmm,” you placed your hand on your chin pretending to think. “I don’t think we have anything to celebrate,” you teased. “And I am pretty tired.” You faked a yawn.
“Suka (bitch),” you pushed on your shoulder. You gasped.
“That is assault,” you said. “I’m calling HR.” Yelena rolled her eyes.
“Are we going or not?”
“Lead the way, printsessa (princess),” you bowed. She laughed, throwing her head back at your pathetic attempt at Russian. You liked the sound of it.
*
“I still can’t believe you are going to this stupid wedding,” Sarah said through Face time. You sighed as you put your tie underneath the collar of your shirt. “And you didn’t even bring me.”
“I didn’t have a plus one,” that was 100% on purpose. The last thing Wanda would have wanted was for your best friend that wasn’t her number 1 fan to come to her wedding. “What else was I supposed to do? Tony closed the office because everyone was invited and you are visiting family.” You weren’t going to sit at home and be depressed. At least some of your friends were going to be there, but most importantly Yelena. “You put your jacket on. “How do I look?” You were in an all-gray suit with a white shirt. The only pop of color came from your tie.
“Hot,” Sarah said. “Damn if I were into chicks I’d grab you.” You rolled your eyes.
“Thanks,” you sighed, looking down at the watch Howard gave you for your 18th birthday. “I better get going. I’ll text you after the ceremony.”
“Good luck!” You ended the call. You were going to need more than you, what you needed was at least 5 shots.
*
The ceremony was in an apple orchard. It appeared the happy couple rented out the inn and the orchard for a private wedding. You were handed confetti as you approached the rows of seats. There were small groups of people, all of them you knew, waiting for the ceremony to begin. You saw Pepper, who sent you a small wave. You waved back and sat in the back row at the end of the row. Thankfully, no one came up to you to talk because you weren’t in the talking mood. Instead, you played with the watch on your wrist. “Well,” you looked towards the voice and saw Howard Stark. “Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes?”
“Mr. Stark,” you stood up, holding out your hand for him to shake. The man rolled his eyes and pulled you into a hug.
“Please. I changed your diapers when you were a kid,” you felt your body heat up in embarrassment. “Drop the act, kid, it makes me feel old,” you smiled and sat down, leaving the end seat for him. “How are you? You don’t come by the house anymore.” That was true. You didn’t want to run into Wanda or Vision by chance.
“I’ve been busy,” you told him. “Your son is running me ragged.” It was the furthest thing from the truth but it pulled a laugh out of the older man.
“It was the best decision that boy has ever made promoting you and Pepper,” you smiled. “But how are you?” He asked again. “How is this?” He placed a gentle hand on your heart. You sighed, looking at the ceremony. This was going to be you, marrying Wanda but she picked someone else.
“Tired, Howard, if I’m being honest. I feel a little lost,” he nodded. You knew the man would never judge you. He’s seen you at your lowest point when you found out your parents were killed in a car accident. You were in a meeting with him and Tony when Maria came in to tell you. Losing them broke you but the Starks were there to catch you. It was why it hurt so much that it was Vision who started dating Wanda.
“I always told my boys to go after what they wanted, I never expected that advice to hurt someone I considered a daughter,” your breath hitched. You always so him as a father-like figured but hearing him call you his daughter brought tears to your eyes. You looked at the archway. You didn’t blame him. “But,” he grabbed onto your shoulder. “You will have your love story that will arrival that of your parents and I can’t wait to see it,” you fought the tears that threatened to fall. “You will always be a Stark, okay?”
“Okay,” you whispered.
“Now I must be going but we will drink at the bar,” he stood up fixing his tie. “I believe I’m paying for it so drinks are on me.” You laughed, whipping away a tear.
“Thank you, Howard,” he gave you a salute and got ready for the ceremony. Folding your hands you sat back and watched as the seats began to fill. Soft music began to play and you were going to need a drink after this.
*
You took a glance at the seating chart. Table 3 with Natasha, Bucky, and Yelena. You were grateful she did that for you. Did you look like an alcoholic as you were the first one to the bar? Probably but you didn’t care. Besides you knew everyone at this wedding and it wasn’t like you were here to impress anyone. You ordered a strawberry mojito and waited for your drink as the rest of the guests filed in. “You know,” you turned to face Yelena as she walked over to you. She was wearing a light green full-length dress. It had a deep v-neck and a slit that went up to her thigh. Her blonde hair was braided. “I did not believe my sister when she said you’d RSVP but here you are.” She ordered herself a long island.
“Yelena,” you said. “You look gorgeous.” The compliment flowed so easily off your lips. You liked the blush that crept up on her cheeks.
“You don’t look half bad yourself,” she fixed the collar of your shirt. “How did you enjoy the ceremony?” She got her drink from the bartender.
“I’m glad to be drinking,” you said, holding out your arm. She took it and you walked her over to your table. The blonde laughed.
“Well, it’s an open bar. So let’s drink till our heart’s content.”
The reception was fun. The first dance was beautiful and speeches made by Tony and Pietro made you laugh. But if you were being honest with yourself, you weren’t paying attention. You found yourself watching Yelena. You weren’t sure when your feelings shifted for the blonde. Since the partnership with the Wakandans, you and she spent late nights at the office. Those nights were filled with laughter, stories, and dreams shared, and stressing over upcoming deadlines. For the first time since your breakup with Wanda, you felt free. Even Tony said something about your mode change.
Natasha sat down next to you with another drink. “I love that you’ve moved on from Wanda,” she handed you the drink. “But can you stop undressing my sister in front of me?” You jumped, startled by the accusation.
“Nat, shit, I’m sorry,” her laughter cut your nervous rambling off. “That’s not funny,” you whined, taking a sip of your drink. It was a lot stronger than your other ones. You wondered if she made it herself.
“I think it’s hilarious,” she leaned back in her chair. “So are you going to ask her out or just stare at her all night?” You groaned, rubbing your hands across your face.
“I don’t know,” your eyes immediately went back to the blonde. She was standing with Kate and Carol. The brunette must have said something funny because she laughed. God, she was beautiful. She must have felt eyes on her because she looked around until her green eyes found you. She waved and you waved back.
“Look, I’m going to intervene because I love you both. She likes you so make a move,” you looked at the redhead, trying to find any sense that she was messing with you. But you found none.
“Are you sure okay with this?” You questioned. “Because if you aren’t I will ignore my feelings for her,” Natasha put her hand on your shoulder.
“She will treat you better than Wanda,” she squeezed. “And if she does anything to hurt you. I won’t hesitate to kill her.” You covered your mouth as you laughed to now draw attention to you. “Go be happy.” You stood up, grabbing your drink.
“Thank you,” you began to walk over to the blonde. You were nervous. If she was going to allow you to date her, it would be different than dating Wanda. You worked with her, you were technically her superior. If it ended as badly, it could affect the work dynamic. But you couldn’t think like that. You had to take it one step at a time.
“Hi,” Wanda stepped in front of you. She changed out of her wedding dress and into a shorter one. “I’ve been meaning to talk to you all night.”
“Must be hard being the woman of the hour,” you took a sip of your drink and locked eyes with Yelena over Wanda’s shoulder. You gave her a reassuring smile. Wanda chuckled, sipping on her drink. It wasn’t her normal cocktail, which was strange unless being with Vision changed her that much.
“Do you have a minute to talk?” You didn’t but you nodded. She led you to a balcony, and your surprise there was no one out there. She leaned her back against the metal railing. Her hands were on her stomach, playing with the wedding ring. It hit you. The drink wasn’t alcoholic, her hands on her stomach. You took a sip of your drink.
“Your pregnant,” you said. She almost dropped her glass.
“How did-” she cut herself off with a laugh. “I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.” You moved to stand next to her. “It was impossible to keep things from you.” ‘I guess you found a way,’ you wanted to say but you bite your tongue.
“How long?”
“2 months,” That was why they got together so quickly. That was why the engagement came out of nowhere. She cheated on you. Your stomach dropped. “Y/n-” she went to touch your arm but you jerked away from her.
“Don’t,” you hissed. “Don’t try to justify your cheating on me.” Oh, Sarah was going to have a field day with this. You took a deep breath in and slowly let it out, trying to keep your emotions at bay. “Are you happy?” It took a moment for her to reply.
“I am,” you nodded.
“Then go be happy with Vision and I’ll be happy with someone else. Have a nice life.” You turned to leave.
“With Yelena,” you didn’t like how she said her name. A hint of dislike and jealousy. When you faced her she was already looking at you. That same look was in her eyes that night in the lobby. She was jealous and possessive. Oh, it was comical.
“Don’t say her name like that,” you said, closing the gap between you and your ex. “Do you want to know the difference between me and you? You moved on while we were still together and didn’t have the guts to call it off because you slept with someone else. You have no right to be jealous over something you have no claim to. See around Wanda,” You waved over your shoulder as you walked back into the party. Drowning the rest of your drink, you saw that Yelena was still talking to Kate but America joined them. You through your cup away and walked over to the trio. You placed your hand on Yelena’s back as you approached them. The blonde looked at you, smiling. “Mind if I burrow her?” Kate and America smirked at each other.
“She’s all yours,” you thank them and moved your hand into hers, leading her out of the party. She squeezed your hand every few seconds, singling she was still with you. Finally, you stepped outside.
“I was going to give you 5 more minutes with her before I went and saved you,” you smiled, bringing her closer to you. She set her drink on the table. God, she was gorgeous. The lights danced in her green eyes.
“Can I kiss you?” You asked the urge was becoming too strong to ignore.
“Please,” she whispered. You connected your lips with hers without a moment’s hesitation. Her arms wrapped around your neck, pulling you closer to her. You felt her smile against your lips. Soon you pulled away but you kept her close, feeling her breath against your lips and her heartbeat racing. “I’m sorry about Wanda.” The mention of your ex snapped you out of your haze.
“Did you know?” She looked away, glancing at the reception through the window. But you gently placed a finger underneath her chin to look at you.
“I did but I’m not even sure if Natasha and Tony know and I thought she told you,” she was working herself into a panic attack. You brushed your nose against hers and captured her lips in a quick kiss. She calmed down. “I caught them at the office. It was late like so fucking late,” you chuckled. “I wasn’t sure what the hell I stumbled on. I think you were with Tony on a business trip to Japan,” you remembered that trip. You didn’t want to go as you and Wanda were planning on going to visit her family. “I’m sorry.” You weren’t sure if it was the alcohol or her being so close, you weren’t sure why she was apologizing. But that brain power was for the future, sober you to figure out.
“It’s okay, sweetheart,” that much you knew. You didn’t blame her. “We’re okay.” She let out a sigh. “Do you want to get out of here?” A playful smirk formed on her lips.
“I’ve been waiting all night for you to ask.”
*
Wanda stood in her kitchen, listening to her twins playing with their toys with the TV on with the latest episode of Bluey, as she flipped through the mail. A majority of it was junk mail; magazines she didn’t remember signing up for or ads trying to get her to buy something. Her fingers stopped on an envelope addressed to her and Vision written in beautiful writing. She ripped it open and stared at the invitation, ‘You are invited to the wedding of Yelena and Y/n, with a reception to follow.’

Eddie Munson x Cosplayer!Fem!Reader
18+ MDNI sexual tension and possible smutty filthy part 2 for this
I just needed to show my nerdyness with all of you and I can assure you that Eddie would get fixated with a cosplayer, and much more if she dresses of the stuff he likes.
I will link pictures of the stuff I mention that you people might not know of, but I put descriptive information to the outfits and cosplays.
Plot: Eddie hates conventions, never went to one even, but a certain cosplayer changes his idea of it.
remember to reblog pls thank u.
Tumblr media
Cosplay for me
Eddie Munson was never a person to go to conventions.
He never went to one before, in his life. He was never interested in them, but it was because he believed it was too crowded and he was told many times that there is always a putrid smell from sweat. Of course, there’s also memes about it online, so he always thought conventions were dirty, and he decided to never go to one.
That is until Mike Wheeler falls sick and Dustin has an extra ticket for Indiana Comic-Con. Dustin knew there was absolutely no chance with Steve, and Mike was the only one of the bunch that had his license. Eddie always cursed at Dustin for not having a driving license at the ripe age of 18, but the younger man always says he doesn’t really like the idea of driving.
So he makes everyone chaperone him around.
That’s why Eddie was now in line to go into the building with a very excited Dustin Henderson next to him.
“There’s so much DnD stuff in here Eddie… There are limited editions of stuff too, like figurines with lots of discounts on anything you like!” Eddie just rolls his eyes at his friend, wanting anything but to look at stuff in the stands.
“You told me that already…” He looked around to see the different types of crowds. You had kids, adults, teenagers and even elderly. He was surprised to see a couple dressed up as Leia and Han Solo and that’s when he noticed the amount of cosplayers that were there. Some of them you could guess it was their first one, and some were extremely detailed, surprising Eddie completely.
When they finally got inside, Eddie tilted his head with confusion as he thought everything was going to be crowded, but it was very spacious and there were many areas of the different stands, people actually having some respect to not push through to look at stuff. He looked at Dustin who was mesmerized as he looked all around and then his eyes widened as he spotted the sponsor he wanted to show Eddie.
“Look Eds!” Eddie looked at where Dustin was pointing at and his eyes widened as he looked at the stand that was filled with DnD figurines, dice, boards, and everything you could possibly get for the game to be even more thrilling. He was magnetized towards it and he had to hold himself back as he looked all over the merchandise. He settled for a squishy 20 dice that looked cool with all the red and black swirls and then for a resin one that had liquid inside and a moving ball with sparkles in the middle.
“Fucking sick…” Dustin smiled at his friend as they kept walking to the other stands. Eddie was not that excited for the rest of the things his younger friend was showing him, but he couldn’t deny that the small businesses made stuff that official merchandise doesn’t have. He looked towards the Netflix sponsor that was in the crowdest part of the building, frowning at it.
“What are you looking at?” Dustin asked as he followed Eddie’s gaze to see what he was staring at.
“I don’t know, something about a new show being aired soon. Didn’t catch its name. Something about things.” He shrugged as he kept walking and Dustin followed right behind. The next part Dustin was excited to see was the gaming area.
Eddie didn’t have enough money to get a nice gaming pc, but it was decent enough, so he didn’t mind going into that area to look at the new releases and the many components you could buy for your PC. His eyes caught onto a large mousepad that had the eye of Sauron in the middle of it and he didn’t even hesitate when he purchased it. Dustin bought a new gaming mouse for himself and they left the area contently.
“You still hate conventions?” Dustin asks with a wiggle of eyebrows as they head outside for Eddie to have a smoke. The metalhead rolls his eyes as he puts down his bags to get a cigarette in between his lips and light it up, blowing the smoke into the open air.
“It does smell weird Dustin… One time is enough for me.” Eddie says and Dustin could only sigh at how hopeless his friend was. He really thought Eddie would like going to a convention with him because Eddie was into all of this stuff.
“Really? Nothing appealed to you?”
“It’s the same sh–” And his eyes caught sight of something white that was walking through the crowd. His heart got caught in his throat as he saw the most beautiful thing he’s seen this whole day and nothing could beat it. The long white hair falling down her back, the elf ears picking out of it on the sides, the elf silver crown over her head, the white dress falling down her body as she kept walking.
Galadriel. From Lord of The Rings.
“Eddie?” Dustin followed his gaze until it finally landed on the Galadriel cosplayer, making him smile proudly. “Oh, that’s actually a famous cosplayer.”
“What?” Eddie snaps his head towards Dustin and the younger boy keeps nodding and he finally says your real name.
“She is very good with her fantasy themed cosplays. Here, I’ll give you her instagram.” Eddie didn’t even doubt it for a second as he handed Dustin his phone in order to look you up. His eyes bulged out of his skull as he browsed over your profile.
There were armor cosplays, DnD cosplays, Legend of Zelda cosplays, some a little more explicit than the others, but it wasn’t bad. He gulped as he stared at one of your League of Legends cosplay. You were dressed as Miss Fortune, and your cleavage was making your breasts really pop out from the edges. He was almost drooling and he remembered he was with Dustin, hitting the follow button and remembering to keep stalking your profile later on.
You were taking pictures with people and Eddie noticed how you were acting exactly like the character you were cosplaying as. Graceful and calm. Dustin laughed when a group of men, dressed as hobbits, ran over to you to take a picture and Eddie couldn’t help but smile as you all stood in character for the picture. He was amazed at the dedication which was even more than just putting a costume on.
“Does she always go to conventions?” Eddie asks his friend and Dustin caught onto it, knowing Eddie had finally found something that interests him in the event.
“She’s always invited. I said she was famous. She has a stand most likely if you want to go meet her and get a picture…” Dustin tries and Eddie immediately shakes his head, taking a puff out of his cigarette.
“Nah, I’m good.”
Tumblr media
He probably spent a good hour stalking all of your photoshoot pictures when he got home.
He noticed that you also cosplayed stuff from many games and movies, and he almost died when he saw you in a Tomb Raider costume. You had over 52k followers on Instagram, and now he understood why Dustin said you were famous. You were a Cosplay Influencer, but you seemed genuine in your stories, and he couldn’t help but smile as you reposted many stories of people that took a picture with you as Galadriel.
He kind of cursed at himself for not being able to be brave enough to get a picture with you. He didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of Dustin… Though he kind of knew that his younger friend realized that he had hearts eyes for you the moment you walked out in the court.
He wondered if he would ever have the chance to meet you, maybe even help you in a way. That’s when he saw the donation button in your Instagram page. It said that you were grateful for everyone’s collaboration and that every penny goes into her cosplays and into the fundraiser for Kids with Epilepsy she donates to. Eddie wondered if that was indeed true, because many influencers lie about that stuff.
For some reason though, he really did believe you had a kind soul.
So he donated what he could afford, which was only five dollars– but it was something.
He didn’t have to wonder if you were a kind soul for long. There was an Anime Convention being held in a couple of weeks, and you posted in your feed that you were invited and was going to have a stand to sell prints of your pictures and get to know everyone that wanted to take a picture with her.
It was a coincidence that Dustin had another free ticket this time saying that he thought Mike liked anime, but it turns out that he didn’t and now he didn’t know what to do with that extra ticket. Eddie wasn’t going to pass the chance and took it without a second thought in mind.
He wasn’t a fan of anime, but the amount of ass and tits that he saw as he entered the building was insane. He knew there were very explicit animes out there, but what he didn’t know was that people dared to cosplay them in public. He almost wanted to cover Dustin’s eyes, often forgetting that his friend is no longer fourteen years old.
“Holy fuck…” Eddie mumbles out as his eyes went from breasts, to asses, to another pair of breasts–
“Yeah, this is what you’ve been missing out on all these years. I told Steve to come so many times because trust me, I know he would love it.” Dustin chuckles as Eddie follows suit. He knew that Steve was a flirt, and yes, he was stupid for saying no to Dustin. Screw him now because Eddie was the one to always second Dustin to conventions now.
“I don’t know anything about what they’re dressed as…” He points at a few girls that are dressed with very tiny strings and underwear with a lot of plastic armor around them. “But fuck that’s hot.”
“That’s Kill la Kill.”
“Dustin… I don’t care…” Dustin couldn’t help but laugh, nodding at Eddie to keep moving. He kept walking as his eyes couldn’t stop looking all over the place, not looking at where he was going, only for him to run into someone, plastic crashing onto his chin as he yelped in pain and stepped back in order to hold it.
“Shit, I’m so sorry!” A muffled voice says, and he looks at the person he ran into, only to see a girl dressed in a black tight motorbike suit that fits her body like a glove. The zipper on her chest was pulled down slightly for her cleavage to show and he almost kept his stare there, but he snapped out as the girl moved and his eyes looked up to see her wearing a yellow cat bike helmet, a very black visor at front and the cat ears pointing up. Eddie can pretty much guess that’s what hit his chin.
“Yeah, don’t– Don’t worry about it.” Dustin immediately got in between them both and handed his phone to Eddie.
“Holy shit, your Celty cosplay is so perfect! Can I have a picture with you?” A muffled giggle was heard behind the helmet and she nodded. Eddie got the camera app out on Dustin’s phone as the girl and him got in position for the picture and Eddie almost laughed at how Dustin was taking his tongue out as she poked his cheek with her black latex glove. Eddie took the picture and handed the phone to Dustin.
“Thank you! And sorry again pretty boy!” She says to Eddie and he was taken aback by how straightforward she was as she skipped away.
“I love that character, and her cosplay was fucking spot on.” Dustin looked at the picture with a smile to his face and put his phone back into his pocket. Eddie believed that taking pictures with cosplayers that were just minding their own business as they walked was a little bit embarrassing, but they didn’t seem to mind, but kind of seemed delighted by it. Dustin explained to him that cosplayers don’t have to be bothered if seen eating or resting, or if you see them heading for a bathroom.
Eddie nodded in acknowledgement at that as they kept walking, and he watched Dustin purchase many figurines from animes he liked, and Eddie wasn’t going to lie but there was a particular figure he found interest in. It was a demon looking guy with big black wings, an apple in one hand and he was hunched over.
“Who’s this?”
“That’s Ryuk, he’s from Death Note. I told you to watch that one, you will like it.” Eddie hums in approval, and he acknowledges Dustin’s recommendation noting to watch that later.
When he finally reaches the cosplayer gallery… His jaw almost drops to the floor.
There stood that Celty cosplay girl only this time, her helmet was off.
You were smiling as you signed pictures of yourself as people purchased them from your stand. He cursed at himself for not knowing it was you the person he ran into an hour ago because if he knew, he would have gotten a picture with you as well.
“Wanna go say hi to her?” Dustin asks as he smirks up at his friend and Eddie just scoffs, shaking his head.
“No. She is just your typical internet influencer, asking for donations for–” He blinked in surprise when he saw a few people walking over to you with shirts that said something in the back. You were smiling wildly as you excitedly talked to all of them. All of these people were grown adults, a few elderly ones, and when he squinted his eyes he could see what the shirts said in the back.
‘Epilepsy Foundation’
They were all purchasing prints for you as you tried to decline it, not wanting these people to buy stuff from you as you shook your head. They all still purchased a picture for you, and then when they all got together for a picture that another cosplayer helped take for all of you, he saw these people with bands over their foreheads that said your name. Eddie’s heart warmed immediately as he saw you wiping a tear away as these people clapped for you. There wasn’t a camera on sight to catch that moment, making it more intimate and more genuine.
“Dustin… I think I fell in love.”
Tumblr media
Eddie became a fan.
He knew it and he didn’t care. You were kind, amazing, beautiful and selfless. He was waiting for the next convention to happen in town knowing there were a few ones that were small, just for the people around the area. He also donated any time he could, even if it were two dollars, or three, maybe sometimes ten, but it was always something.
He was now laying on his bed, scrolling through tik tok and that’s when he got the notification of you going live on Instagram. His eyes almost bulged out of his skull and he immediately, desperately, pressed onto the notification, directing it straight to your live. He almost sighed out in happiness as he saw your face coming onto the screen. There was little to nothing of makeup on your face and he was just mesmerized as you greeted everyone.
He deliberated if to say hi to you or not. He gulped as he typed out a small ‘Hey’ and a smiley face which made him cringe and delete it. Would it be too cold? He wasn’t believing that you would see it anyways, so he just sent it like that. You were still greeting people and your eyes perked up suddenly.
“Oh, hi Eddie! Thank you for donating all this time, I am grateful for that!”
He couldn’t believe it as he quickly sat up on his bed. His heart was in his throat as he stared at the screen completely speechless. You acknowledged him. You noticed his username is the same one he uses for the donation app. You know about him and… Fuck did he have cringey photos in his instagram feed? He knows he has one with Steve and then one with Dustin but he doesn’t know if–
What makes him think you stalked his instagram page? He shook his head at the thought and took a deep breath in as he typed in another message. You were talking about your upcoming events and he pressed send to his message.
‘Hopefully I have the balls to ask for your picture this time.’
Another message he doesn’t think you will see with over five hundred people watching your live, and that thought was proved wrong once more when you giggled as you fake gasped with a hand over your chest.
“Am I that scary? Also, how’s your chin?”
Eddie’s jaw fell open, instantly. Holy fucking shit. Holy flying fuck. You remembered him. You remembered him from when he ran into you with Dustin a month ago… You stalked his instagram profile. You did. You obviously fucking did. It seems that you noticed your mistake because he saw how your face flushed as you tried changing subject back to the next event you will be attending.
He was speechless right now. He was sure that there were many people donating hundreds, way more money than he was able to give out, yet you noticed him for some reason? What does it mean? Why does he feel hopeful? What for? He gulped as he looked at the screen, and confidence rose up in his chest as he wrote the following message.
‘You forgot to kiss it better.’
And his confidence only grew when you responded to him again with a smile to your face.
“Well, remind me of that at the next con.”
Tumblr media
He was pissed.
He was extremely pissed.
He was being dragged here and there at the convention because it wasn’t just Dustin this time. Mike and Will came along and he didn’t want to leave them alone because they were acting like little kids all over again, going from stand to stand, from game to game, and all Eddie wanted to do was to rush towards the Cosplayer Alley to be able to meet you.
“I am hungry.” Mike voices out as he doesn’t even ask for the group’s approval as he walks out to the food court that was outside. Eddie groans heavily as his anger just keeps raising up, and he gets the cigarettes out of his pocket and tells Dustin to just stay put at the hot dog stand. He walked away from the tables people were sitting at eating just to be respectful for the smoke and then, when he was about to light up his cigarette, a small voice was heard from behind him.
“Hey… Can I have a smoke?”
He turned around to clash eyes with colored lenses that were in a blue tone. White hair dripped down again, but this time a half braid was around the head and towards the back. A white dress that had black dragon wings at the torso that held a white cape over her shoulders.
“Well shit, I can’t believe Daenerys Targaryen is asking for a smoke.” Eddie was surprised he could make a joke as you finally giggle, a smile spreading over your lips, walking closer to him. His hands were shaking as he held onto his pack and opened it for you to take one stick out. You put it on your lips and he raised the lighter up as you leaned forward to light the cigarette up. After a long inhale, you finally let it out, a curtain of smoke filling the air above you.
“Yeah… This costume is… doing something today and I needed to relax a bit.” You say shyly as you look down towards the floor. Eddie’s heart was beating out of his throat, taking a drag out of his own cigarette this time as he looked at you. He looked behind him to see a beverage stand, licking his lips as he squinted his eyes and then back at you.
“You want a beer?” He didn’t even know if you liked beer, but he felt cupid shooting another arrow towards his chest when you looked up at him excitedly with a nod.
“I would like that…” You both walk to the stand to get a can of beer each, and you giggle as you guide Eddie to move to the back of the stand so that no one could see you in your cosplay having alcohol and smoking.
“So secretive.” Eddie says and he didn’t even care if the others couldn’t find him anymore. Hell, they can get lost and he will most definitely ditch them if it meant to have a moment with you alone. You giggle as you squinted slightly at his face, biting your bottom lip in thought.
“What’s… your name?” You asked it with a hint of doubt behind it but Eddie didn’t notice it, or didn’t think too much of it.
“I’m Eddie–”
“I KNEW IT!” Eddie's heart jumped out of his mouth at your scream, his eyes widening as he looked at you who was looking at him with the brightest of smiles. “I knew it was you! You are Eddie!”
“I mean, I am Eddie…” His confidence was skyrocketing again. You remembered him, definitely, from his face to his hair, and you even recognized him from just instagram pictures, which only led Eddie to wonder… How many times have you looked at them?
“The guy who doesn’t dare to take a picture with me.” You smirk as you take a sip of your beer while looking at him. He scoffs as he rolls his eyes at you, but happiness was just blossoming inside of him as he looked at you.
“I do dare, I just don’t do this convention shit so I was embarrassed at first.” You hum at his words, taking a drag out of the cigarette.
“If you don’t like them, why do you attend?” You ask him with a tilt of your head, completely confused by his response. He was speechless, his worst stumbling out of his mouth as he thought of an excuse other than just blurting out ‘Because of you’.
“M-My buddy always needs someone to accompany him… For support.” At that you made an ‘Oh’ sound, giving him a nod in understanding.
“The guy that I took a picture with when I smashed your chin?” You ask with a giggle and he felt like dying at the sound of your lovely voice. He chuckles, nodding down at you as he takes a sip of his beer.
“Yep.”  You seemed like you wanted to say something to him but you held back, taking a sip out of your beer and Eddie could feel you ogling him over your cup. He wanted to ask the gods above if this was a trick of theirs, a stupid joke or a trial he had to go through because it wasn’t possible that a girl like you was looking at him with desire. It was impossible.
“Really… Then why did you come here if your friend… is with friends?” You were smirking now as he snapped out of his trance and you gave him a nod towards his back, making him turn around only to see Dustin laughing along with Mike and Will as they sat on a table eating their corn dogs. He winced in embarrassment as he turned to face you again.
“I am their ride.” He lied. He offered to be the ride. Mike told him there was no need, but Eddie refused.
“And you are drinking?”
“One beer isn’t going to kill me.” Eddie replies back and you were now looking at him, a small smile on your lips and Eddie had one thought only at that moment. One that he never thought of having. A thought that just came to him and now he realizes it has been a fantasy ever since he saw you.
He wants to fuck you in one of your cosplays.
“Oh… thought you were coming to finally ask to take a picture with me.” You say in a sultry tone as you took a drag out of your cigarette and Eddie immediately felt the tension growing between the two of you. He licked the inside of his bottom lip as he looked down at you. A smirk spread on his lips and he noticed how you straightened up, a small step forward going towards him.
You were pure in his eyes, doing all this cosplay stuff, doing charity, being incredible with the people that followed you, but he never thought you would ever look at someone like him like this. He never thought you would be this willing at the first interaction you had with him… But if he was reading the signs right, and if he was daring enough, he might get to fuck Daenerys Targaryen. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but someday. So might as well–
“I actually came here to ask you for your picture… and a date.”
And Eddie’s heart was taken away once more as you smirked at him, taking another step closer to him and you responded in a low and seductive tone that sent shivers down his spine and adrenaline started rushing inside of him.
“I’m free after the event.” He took another step closer to you, and he noticed the intake of breath you took in, making him grin widely.
“Yeah, I think you promised to kiss it better… Didn’t you sweet girl?”
Tumblr media
idk man, i just couldn't stop writing this, acknowledgement to all my cosplay girlies out there.
Smutty part 2? Let's hear at what Eddie should fuck her in.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
He snarled as the woman easily shielded against his attack, dissolving Dawn easily.
Don’t break, he reminded himself as he called upon a searing onslaught, feeling the heat of his Vision against his thigh as he watched her stagger and dodge before summoning the power of her Delusion.
He heard her shout of pain as the electro power blew them apart, disarming them with an explosion.
She snarled as she shakily moved to get up when he finally smelled it.
Heat.
“An omega…Fatui…” He panted as he got up quickly. “Isn’t that danger–” A blade pressed against his throat as he slammed back against the tree.
He finally saw her. Her eyes glowed with electric power as she glared at him. Her hand was shaking as she panted, nose twitching before the glow finally faded.
Diluc caught her, damning his instincts when she realized she was seizing. He quickly moved her to lie down as he frowned, body tensing as the helpless omega convulsed on the ground. His chest tightened as he tried to think before carefully moving his wrist near her nose.
He was surprised when she began to calm as his scent reached her, gulping thickly. He needed to hide her away.
Sun peeked through the curtain. Y/N stirred slowly before snapping awake and looking around. Her heat was still there, and there was the scent of alpha in the area.
Her nose twitched as she quickly looked around, sneering when she saw the bars on the windows and the lack of a doorknob.
“Dammit,” She growled before moving to her feet. She was wearing new clothing entirely, making her balk before she saw her own clothing folded up on the table with a note.
Picking it up, she scoffed at the words. “Be back by noon. Don’t escape,” She grumbled. “Who in the name of Archons is D.R.?”
She sighed and eyed her clothing, nodding approvingly when she smelled the soaps that’d been used to clean it. She blinked as she lifted the sleeve.
Patched up.
The lock turned over as she glanced over, watching the same Vision wielder she’d seen the night before. “D.R.? I’m guessing, anyway.”
He nodded. “Glad to know you’re finally awake.” She frowned at that. “You’ve been out for three days.”
“What?” She asked, staring at him before quickly looking outside and sighing. “Shit. My heat?”
“Yes. Did it spring up on you suddenly?” He asked, keeping between her and the open door.
She studied him for a moment before asking, “Did yours?” He nodded. “Shit.”
“Agreed,” He sighed, pinching his nose. “If this is true…what do you intend?”
“To kill you,” She said simply, watching him. “Not now though. You did…protect and shelter me. What I mean is, after I leave, we’d be back to enemies. The Tsaritsa has no use for weak soldiers.”
He nodded, not entirely faulting her for the mentality. “And if I don’t want that?”
“Excuse you?” She snarled, glaring at him. “How dare you–” She had stepped forward before her body buckled under the wave of heat emitting from her.
Her knees slammed into the ground as hands steadying her shoulders. “Bastard,” She snarled. “You think…fuck…You’re just as vile as the thing you fight.”
“Pardon?”
“Just because I’m your mate, now I’m your pet, too?! What more will you take fr–” His hand firmly pressed over her mouth. The calmness in his movement made her stop and glare.
“Let me finish. Not as a prisoner but…partners. I keep you safe. You don’t have to give me any new information but…You’d have to tell me what your mission was in Mondstadt at least.”
She rolled her eyes and pushed his hand down. “So that makes it better?” He watched her calmly, studying her reaction. “What do you really get out of this?”
“Knowing that my weakness is somewhere safe and can’t be used against me,” He confessed. “Not to say I think you’re of any personal value to me as of now. It was pure luck. But even you can’t deny biology. No matter how hard you try.” He held up the box and she froze, feeling the power draining from her. “This is your Delusion. I’m going to hide it away. I want to destroy it at some point but not without your permission. That said though…you’re incredibly weak. I think it is the reason I’m not mounting you like a dog right now.”
“Crude,” She spat before glancing at the box and sighed. “You’re not wrong.”
“Which is why you’ll be staying in here until you’re no longer in heat.” He smirked as he adjusted to stand. “I will admit though, I’m surprised you’re even able to focus long enough to form a sentence.”
“Why? Cuz of my heat? Fucking sexist pig.”
“Because of the Delusion. You had an omega-drop. You almost went feral the moment you went into heat. Are you stupid or just desperate?” The venom in his question silenced her.
When she didn’t answer, he sighed and helped her to the bed. He informed her some a servant of his would be by to get her measurements so that new clothing could be provided for her. She bitterly thought of how kind the Alpha was.
Maybe it was just different in Mondstadt, but in Snezhnaya, weakness meant death or enslavement. Being an omega was worse. It’s why she swallowed down pill after pill, using Delusion after Delusion. Not caring what damage it did. As long as no one knew she was omega, she was safe.
Now, an alpha, some hotshot she didn’t even know, was trapping her to ride out her heat. It didn’t take a genius to realize his instincts as her mate overrode his instincts as an alpha.
“Maybe…”
Maybe she could use that against him? Maybe she could bat her omega eyes enough that she could–
“It’s best not to think on that.”
Y/N let out a squeal of shock as she launched herself to the otherside of the bed, putting an object between herself and the maid in front of her. She blinked up at her as she smiled cooly.
“Now then, Miss Mage. I need your measurements.”
“Why the hell do you need them?! Who are you?!” She snarled.
“Adelinde, Miss,” She answered gracefully before bowing. “I am under orders from my master to get your measurements.”
That was the name D.R. told her. She sighed and stood slowly, blinking as her nose caught the scent of something with meat. Her stomach rumbled loudly, making Adelinde smile.
The maid nodded at the table, brining Y/N’s attention to the steaming bowl of soup with bread and cut-up fruit on the platter beside it. “If you’d like to eat first, that’s fine. I can show you some catalogs of local fashion to give you an idea of what you’d like to wear.”
She glared at it, wondering if it’d been poisoned in some way, but her stomach was winning in the argument with her mind as she sat down and began to eat.
Radish. Mint. A little tomato? Chicken!
“What is this?” She asked with a moan.
“A staple of Mondstadt called Radish Veggie Soup. I added some cooked chicken myself after asking my master. He agreed it’d be good for your weakened body,” She said, smiling softly. “Eat slowly. Don’t upset your stomach.”
The days following were a blur as Y/N paced in the room she was locked in. It was mostly spent talking with Adelinde when she would come in to bring clothing or any food or drink. She even brought books when Y/N asked.
With that in mind, Adelinde set the book on the tray, handing them to Diluc. “Boar Princess?” He asked, glancing at the title as he shifted to make sure the drink wouldn’t spill onto it.
“She’s surprisingly a fan,” She chuckled. “I just gave her the second volume yesterday but I think she might’ve had the time to finish it.”
Diluc nodded, sighing as he walked to the room. He had kept away for as long as he did to let her heal…and yet it was agony.
Mate…MATE.
Omega in danger.
Hold Omega. Protect Omega.
Claim Omega.
He silently cursed his instincts wanting only to take a hold of the woman but damn it all if he didn’t think about once or twice or five times.
It’s why he froze when he picked up her scent. She was nearing the end of her heat but her scent was strong and felt only stronger as he approached. He came in and saw something only from his fantasies.
The woman was splayed out and naked on the bed with her fingers pumping into her sopping hole as she whined and pinched her own nipple for pleasure. She didn’t even stop when he closed the door and set the tray on the table.
Only when it clattered against the wood did her eyes snap to him. “Fuck,” She whimpered, looking to him pleadingly.
It was perfect. Perfect timing. She only needed to take control of the man.
“Alpha.”
If only she knew how strong his resolve was as he approached. He smirked down at her. He could see it in her face that yes she was like this but she was using it to her advantage.
“Omega,” He offered, watching her as he stopped beside the bed. He could feel his cock throbbing under his pants even as he said that, and yet, he couldn’t give in yet.
Y/N gasped when he moved too quickly and dove his face between her legs. “Wai–Ah!” She moaned as he began to lick and suck eagerly.
Moaning. He was moaning as he ate her out, she realized! And fuck everything he was good at it!
“Fuck, Alpha!” She moaned, gripping his long hair.
Her hips bucked and twitched, making him snarl before he pinned her legs back.
Flexible. His Alpha was practically singing when she easily accepted the way her knees were pushed against her chest, pushing her breasts together. Perfect mate. Claim. CLAIM.
He moaned as he sucked on her clit, watching her reactions as she threw her head back, losing herself in the pleasure.
“Alpha, fucking, alpha, please!” She begged, unable to take much more.
“Say my name. Say it.”
“I-I–” She stammered before biting her lip. She didn’t know his name.
His mouth left her, leaving her whining before she moaned as two fingers plunged into her easily before lips found her ear. “Diluc Ragnvindr,” He snarled.
She moaned out his name as he curled his fingers, her juices squirting out with reckless abandon before a white-hot pain from her neck melted into pleasure.
He was claiming her while fingering her through her climax and she couldn’t care what the consequences were now. She only wanted his knot now.
Tsaritsa be damned if she didn’t get his knot.

In your opinion, what kind of boyfriend Kylian will be ?
HEHEHEHEH OKAY!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kylian is the cheeky, flirtatious boyfriend 100%, always would want his lover attention around and will always try to impress her.
He would be such a spoiler to his woman and definitely a family man . If he finds the woman that his heart screams she is the one, he would definitely do everything to start his own cutie patotie family with her.
His no.1 love language is physical touch ; hugging, kissing, holding hands, creasing hair, just anything that have romantic contact with the one he loves.
He is also 100% the over protective , caring boyfriend . When Kylian loves someone so much he’d love to hear them talk 24/7. In return he definitely is the type of boyfriend to rant his day, while eating his cucumber, leaning on the kitchen’s door..while his lover is cooking them dinner.
When he fights with her, his brain will always be racing on how they should make up, he can’t bare the thought of no texting , no sharing random day events, memes, reels or even tiktoks. He can’t bare the weird silence between them or the stop of sudden texts that goes “Kylian which is the prettier lipgloss shade”, he would do anything to make them okay again.
He is just…authentic 🤍.

AU where eddie works security for a venue and gets drafted to be part of the cleaning crew after a huge sold out concert.
he’s in the 100 section and he’s got a trash bag in one hand and a pair of grabbers in the other. he’s picked up more feathers and empty seltzer cans than he cares to count and he’s two seconds from hiding out in the sound booth until everyone else forgets he was even there and he can sneak out under the cover of night.
he’s grumbling under his breath when he hears an incessant buzzing sound from a few seats up. he jogs up the steps and sees the light from a phone screen coming from under a seat.
it’s flashing a picture of a pretty girl, her face pinched while an even prettier guy kisses her cheek. the name “robbie 🕊️” scrolls across the top of the screen.
eddie hesitates for a few seconds before he realizes that whoever it is is probably just trying to find their phone. he answers.
“uh hello?”
there’s a shriek from the other end that has eddie yanking the phone away from his ear.
“it’s you! oh my god hi! STEVE! it’s him! he has your phone!”
eddie’s confused.
“uh listen, you left your phone in your seat- or your friend did, i guess. i can leave it at the will-call window so you can come get it or-”
there’s a ruckus on the other line and then a new, distinctly male, voice speaking.
“NO! no i- uh. i mean. can you just bring it out to us? we’re still in the area.”
“uh i’m still working but-“
“oh shit. right. um well, we’ll be out for a while? can you just bring it out when you’re off maybe?”
eddie’s sure he’s got a dumbstruck look on his face. why can’t he just send it downstairs?
“i mean i can? but it would just be faster to send it to the office.”
he hears a huff and some mumbling and can almost imagine the guy, steve (?), rolling his eyes.
“okay so i might have left it on purpose.”
now eddie’s even more confused. but before he can question it, the guy keeps talking.
“look. i saw you working security during the show and i wanted to come talk to you but then the show was over and then everyone was leaving and i had to- you know how concert traffic is, you work there for fucks sake.” he cuts off his own ramble with a huff. “anyway. i panicked and robin told me to leave my phone so i would have an excuse to come back and see if you were there.”
eddie snorts.
“well, you’re sweet steve, but how do you know you’re talking to the right guy?”
there’s a pause and eddie isn’t sure he’s still on the line.
“steve?”
“i recognize your voice. i may or may not have spent the hour before the show listening to you talk to your friend while i tried to work up my nerve.”
his friend? gareth. oh he can’t wait to tell him about this.
speaking of, he’s spent almost enough time entertaining this riveting conversation to wrap up his shift. he looks around and everyone else is wrapping up their sections too.
“well good news for you, my shift is almost over and flattery works with me. so i’ll bring your phone down in about a half hour? meet you outside the floor entrance?”
he can hear the way steve’s voice picks up and he can imagine him smiling.
“okay! yeah! yeah okay i’ll see you then!”
eddie laughs to himself and is telling steve he’ll see him soon when he’s cut off with a shout.
“WAIT! shit, sorry! i just realized i never got your name.”
eddie laughs for real this time, loud and unbidden.

eddie can’t help his smile.
“yeah stevie. see you soon.”

It’s Okay. Let Me Go.
Tumblr media
This is the same as the older sister AU but a What if? version. This follows more canon events of the MCU. In this story, Yelena does not join our reader and the sisters aren’t as close. This is not cannon to the main stories that I’ve written. I just have been sitting on this idea since the first one shot and I knew I had to write it.
Summary: You didn’t expect a phone call from your sister, Natasha. But she is asking you for a favor to fight an off world threat that is threatening her family.
Warning: multiple character death, survivors guilt, canon type violence, canon type injuries
Word count: 4.8k
Serbia, 2018
No one called you on this phone. You had two. One was used when Melina had another Widow locked down or Red Room associates needed to be dealt with. You also gave the number to Widows to use when they needed help transitioning into the world. The phone that was ringing now was the number you gave to your sisters. You pulled out that phone and looked at the caller ID. It was Natasha. “Sestra,” you answered it, looking back down at the scope of your sniper rifle. “To what do I owe the pleasure ?” She was silent. You heard muffled voices in the background. “Natasha, are you there?”
“Remember when Yelena and I agreed to help you take down the Red Room I said you would owe me one.” You remembered that conversation. It felt like a lifetime ago but it was only two years. “I need your help.” You sat back from the scope.
“Where do you need me?” You asked without hesitation.
“How fast can you get to Egypt?” You were in Serbia. A normal person would take them 10 hours but you were resourceful in a pinch.
“Give me 5 hours,” you said, looking back down the scope. “Send me the exact coordinates.”
“I will.” She paused. “Thank you.” There were two things you knew for certain about Natasha; she never asked for help and she rarely thanked anyone. You were a little worried.
“No need to thank me,” you told her. “We’ll debrief in person.” You took a steady breath and fired your shot.
“Was that a sniper rifle going off?” She asked. You began to disassemble the gun.
“I was in the middle of something when you called,” Natasha chuckled. “I’ll see you soon.” You hung up before she could reply. You put the gun in the case, picked up the shell casing, and descended the roof. You had no idea what you were heading into but you were ready for the fight.

Upstate New York; Avengers Compound, 2018
Natasha ended the call and turned to face her team. The team was a loose word to describe this group of people as it's been 2 years since they had all been together and that ended in a fight. “I’ve called in a favor,” she told them. “We need to make a pit stop before heading to Wakanda.”
“Who did you call?” Steve asked. She looked at Yelena. She was standing next to Wanda. There was a small cut on her forehead from their most recent fight.
“Our sister,” she said. “She’s older than us.”
“You have another sister?” Bruce questioned. “Did anyone else know about that?” He asked around the room. They couldn’t know wouldn’t know about you because Natasha tried to forget you.
“We haven’t seen each other in a long time,” Yelena said. “We ran into her on the run. She got us out of a sticky situation.” That was an underestimate.
“Look, she’s a hell of a fighter and if Thanos is as big of a threat as Bruce says he is, an extra fighter isn’t going to hurt,” Natasha sighed. “Just trust me.” Steve nodded.
“We should get going,” he said. “Let’s meet in the Quinjet in 15.” Natasha walked to the armory with Yelena close behind.
“Do you think I made the right call?” Natasha asked. The youngest Widow sighed, picking up her Widow bites.
“Yeah, this is going to be the fight of our lives,” she said. “I'd rather have both of you by my side.”

Cairo, Egypt 2018
You weren’t sure what you were expecting when the massive jet landed outside the capital in an off-the-grid town. “Where was this when we broke Alexei out of prison?” You asked yourself as the ramp lowered. You came out of the shadows pulling your hood down and watched Natasha and Yelena descend the ramp with Captain America by their side. It’s been two years since you’ve seen your sisters. You’ve kept in contact, short text messages here and there to assure everyone was alive. But seeing them in person was a different feeling. Natasha died and cut her hair and Yelena was wearing a few new bruises. “You're late,” you said with a smile. Natasha rolled her eyes.
“You just like to be early for everything.” She said. You gave her a quick hug. Yelena’s hug was longer, she hugged you tighter.
“Good to see you again, malen'koye solnyshko (little sun),” you whispered. You ended the hug and stared at Captain America.
“Steve, this is our sister, Y/n,” Yelena introduced. You shook the man’s hand. His handshake was strong. You could tell a lot about a man by how he shook hands.
“We appreciate the help on such short notice,” he said. You smiled
“Of course, Captain,” you said, following them up the ramp. “Any chance to show the Avengers I’m the better Widow I'm gonna jump on it.” The super soldier chuckled at your joke.
“Suka,” Yelena said, elbowing you in the ribs. You met the rest of the team as they explained who they were after. You found yourself glancing around the Quinjet. This group was the one your sisters chose. They had so much time with them. A weird feeling began to form in your chest. It became difficult to breathe. But you pushed it down. You had a mission to focus on.
“So, if this alien were to get that stone,” you said, pointing to Vision. “How many casualties are we looking at?”
“Half the Earth’s population,” Bruce answered. Shit. You whistled.
“Understood, alien is not to get that stone,” Steve ordered everyone to try to relax, that you would be landing in Wakanda soon. You sat away from everyone, going through the weapons you had. You didn’t have much with you as it was a last-minute mission but you would make do.
“Mind if I join you?” You looked toward the voice. It was Wanda. You nodded and she sat down next to you. “Thank you for helping by the way. Vision,” she looked towards the man. He was talking with Burce. “He’s important to me.”
“You love him.” You said. It wasn’t hard to see. When Steve was talking about Thanos, Wanda was looking at him. Wanda nodded.
“I do.”
“Then I’m glad I’m here.” She looked back at you.
“Have you ever loved someone like that?” You shook your head. The Red Room conditioned you to believe that love was for children, a weakness, a way for someone to exploit you. But you’ve been free from them for 2 years. You knew the truth as you watched couples all around you interact.
“No,” you finally said to her. “I’ve never had the chance to find someone to love.” Your entire life was controlled. You were told when to sleep, when to eat, and when to bathe. “But I do know it’s important to tell the people you love that you do love them. Life can be very uncertain.” Wanda sighed.
“Don’t I know it,” you didn’t question it but you saw the sadness radiating from her. “When Natasha called you to come to help us no one knew they had another sister.” You weren’t surprised by that. For years, they thought the Red Room was destroyed and you were off living your life without them. “But I knew you existed.”
“They told you about me.” She smiled.
“In their own way,” you were lost and a little confused. ‘Hi.’ You jumped at the sudden voice in your head. You were definitely out of your element here.
“You can speak through people’s minds?!” She giggled.
“It’s a little more complicated than that but yes.” Her fingers glowed red. “I don't do it intentionally but sometimes people’s thoughts are loud. We didn’t cross paths a lot, your sisters and I. They broke a few of us out of the raft and random check-ins here and there.” You did your research on why the Avengers weren’t talking to each other. The Accords. “But you are a constant thought in their minds.”
“Really?” You whispered. She nodded. “What are they thinking about?”
“Natasha feels a lot of guilt for whatever happened.”
“You don’t know?” She shook her head.
“Not my place to dig through that,” she said. “Yelena misses you. She wants more time.” You smiled, looking at your sisters. They were sitting with Steve, no doubt coming up with a plan. “I also came over here for another reason.” You looked at her. “It’s okay to be jealous. It’s a valid human emotion. It means you're free.”
“Free.” You whispered the word. Freedom was a concept you never dreamed about. It was just out of reach. Freedom was like smoke when you tried to hold onto it slipped through your fingers. “Thanks, Wanda.”
“Anytime,” she smiled, standing up. “Maybe when all this is done we can hang out when the world isn’t ending.” You smiled.
“I’d like that.”

Wakanda 2018
You were a little bit out of your element as you stared at the force field surrounding Wakanda and Thanos' army attacked. Your sisters by your side and the Wakandan army at your back. “You know,” you said to them. “If you missed me that much we could have gone for ice cream or something.” You had a few guns attached to your hips, widow bites on your arms, and Shuri gifted you an assault rifle. Natasha laughed.
“That doesn't seem like our speed. This is more fun,” you chuckled, shaking your head.
“You both are going to be okay out there, right?” You asked them. Yelena nodded.
“Of course, we’ll be okay.” There was so much more you wanted to say. Your warning to Wanda echoed in your head. But T’Challa gave the order to open the barrier then all hell broke loose.
*
The battle was happening around you. You moved across the battlefield fighting with Okoye, covering your sisters, fought with a god, and stood back to back with a man you haven’t seen in a long time; the Winter Soldier. You looked at the man. His hair was still long but well kept and his blue eyes had more light to them. “You’ve grown up,” he said, once there was a moment to breathe.
“No shit,” you laughed. “You look better than the last time I saw you, Soldat.” He winced at the title you gave him.
“Bucky. Call me Bucky.” You nodded. Before you could respond, you heard your name yell out.
“I gotta go,” you ran off towards Yelena’s scream. Her back was to a small cliff with a horde of Thanos’ army around her. You never saw so much fear in her eyes. You killed one of the creatures and stood in front of her. You made quick work of killing the others you heard Yelena gasp as she grabbed onto your suit. She lost her footing and fell backward. You dropped the gun you were holding and protected her hand as you both rolled down the cliff. She landed on top of you.
“You're heavy,” you groaned, pushing her off of you. She fell onto her back with a grunt. You lay there, looking up at the Wakandan sky. It was beautiful here.
“Thank you,” she said, sitting up. You looked up at her. “I’m losing count home many times you’ve saved me.”
“It’s not a competition, malen'koye solnyshko (little sun),” she smiled at the nickname. “We are family.” You stood up, whipping the dirt off your pants. “It’s what we do.” She stood up and you put her arm around her shoulders and pulled her close.
“I’m glad you're here,” she said. “I’ve missed you.”
“Missed you, too sestra,” You started to walk towards the cliff you fell to ascend back up to join the fight but Yelena stopped. You turned to face her. She was looking down at the ground, holding onto her stomach. “Yelena, what’s wrong?”
“Something is wrong,” she stumbled backward and fell to the ground. You knelt in front of her, grabbing onto her hands. She looked at you and slowly you watched your sister turn to dust in your fingers.
“Yelena!” You yelled. But she didn’t respond. She couldn’t. You felt sick to your stomach as you scrambled up the cliff. Across the battlefield, you watched as members of the Wakandan army fell to their knees and disappeared. “No,” you whispered. You knew what this meant. He got the stone and Vision. No. You couldn’t think about that. You had to find your sister. “Natasha,” you said through the coms. “Natasha, where are you?” There was no answer.
“Wooded area, east side of the palace.” She finally answered. She sounded so tired.
“I’m coming,” you broke out into a sprint, stripping off the weapons as you run. They were just slowing you down. You made it to the woods and let out a whistle. You whistled again when you didn’t hear her. Finally, you heard her whistle back. It was faint but you headed in that direction. You found her in a clearing, standing next to Vision’s body clenching her stomach. Steve was on the ground as his hand rested on Vision’s chest. Rhodey, Bruce, a raccoon, and the God of Thunder were standing behind them. She looked at you, her green eyes were glossy with tears.
“Where is-?” You didn’t let her finish her question as you pulled her into a hug. It took her a second for her to hug back but when she did it was strong as if she was afraid you would turn to dust. She was shaking against you. You didn’t know what to say. No words could make this situation better. So you held onto her tight, not wanting to let her go.
*
Upstate New York, Avengers Compound 2018
You moved into the compound and stopped searching for Widows and let Sonya and a few others that didn’t get blipped lead. Melina helped them. She had to fill the quiet because Alexei was part of the population that was gone. You didn’t expect your first time to be at the compound; it would be so quiet. When Thanos was killed, the remaining Avengers scattered as they dealt with the guilt. But Natasha stayed. You watched her try to hold together a new team as the world adjusted to this new normal. There was little you could do to help as she grieved for her lost friend, Yelena, and friend that lost his way.
You tried to be the strong one but there was guilt eating at you. You found yourself using the training room, working your body to the brink of exhaustion so you could sleep. The image of Yelena dusting away was haunting. Natasha found you a few nights asleep on the mat. You were grateful that you had her and in silent ways, she was grateful too. A small smile every time you put food down in front of her. She would curl up next to you when you were watching a movie and on nights when the nightmares got too bad she’d come to you.
*
Upstate New York, Avengers Compound, 2023
You were in the kitchen making Natasha food as you knew she survived on peanut butter sandwiches when you were away. It wasn’t often but sometimes Melina needed your help. Natasha was in a meeting with Okoye, Carol, Rocket, and Rhodey. She asked if you wanted to be a part of these calls but you weren’t an Avenger. You heard Rhodey’s voice end the call and you walked over to her. She had her hands over her face, eyes closed, and she let out a shaky breath. You placed the bowl of pasta down in front of her. “Eat,” you said, sitting down. She uncovered her face, staring at the bowl. Her eyes were bloodshot. It broke your heart to see her like this. She barely cried in the Red Room or Ohio. Now she was wearing her heart on her sleeve.
“Not hungry,” she mumbled.
“Please eat,” you said. “For me.” That got her to pick up the fork and twirl the noodles around it. She ate slowly. You weren't going to force her to eat the entire bowl but she needed something in her system.
“How’s Melina?” She finally asked.
“Good. She misses you.” The Blip changed the older Widow. She showed more emotions than before.
“I’ll call her.”
“I was going to offer to cook you both dinner,” you looked toward the voice of the super soldier. “But it looks like you got that covered. Besides, I'm pretty terrible in the kitchen.”
“Are you here to do your laundry?” Natasha asked. He nodded.
“And to see my friends.” You bite your tongue before the snarky comment leaves your mouth. You stood up.
“Vy zakonchili? (Are you done?)” She ate half the bowl. She nodded. You took the bowl and went back to the kitchen. You cleaned up the mess and put the leftovers away. You had to focus on something else before you lost your mind on Steve. You weren’t mad at Steve, your rational mind knew this. But you wanted to take your frustrations out on something and the sandbags weren’t cutting it. The super soldier was the one you saw the most over the past 5 years. But everyone else didn’t see the guilt and the stress Natasha carried. She began to fall back into Red Room behaviors because a mission failed. Those nights scared you the most.
“If I’m not going to do this, who will?” You heard her ask Steve. You weren’t trying to eavesdrop. You poured yourself a glass of water. “This job,” she continued. “Made me believe that I was better than them, the people who tried to make me a monster.” You closed your eyes. “I was given a second chance from the fate that was written for me. I can’t waste it.” You took a sip of water and pulled out the tablet Natasha gave you. It was equipped with FRIDAY’S AI. You pulled up the security footage of the front gate.
“Hey Nat,” you said to her as you walked back over. The conversation between the two stopped. “You need to look at this.” You sent the footage over to the screen. A man was standing in front of a brown van.
“Hi, hi,” he said. “Is anyone home? This is Scott Lang. We met a few years ago at the airport.” Steve stood up.
“Is this an old message?” He asked you. You shook your head.
“It’s the front gate.”
*
Scott Langs’s ridiculous, outrageous idea brought the Avengers back together. Natasha even got Clint home. A plan was made, the machine was tested, and the team was divided. You were in your room changing into a white tech suit. You were going to Vormir with Clint and Natasha. Nebula described it as a dominion of death and the place Thanos murdered her sister. As a Widow your instincts were your best weapon it kept you alive. You had a bad feeling, a very bad feeling about this. You went to your desk and pulled out a pad of paper. You clicked a pen and began to write.
A knock on your door pulled you out of your thoughts. You folded the letter and went to open the door. Natasha smiled at you. “Ready?” She asked. You nodded.
“Born ready.” You closed the door behind you.
*
You stood on the platform between Steve and Natasha. A circle formed of people that you barely knew but were ready to risk their lives to rewrite the loss. “You know your teams. You know your mission,” Steve said. “Get the stones. Get them back. One round trip each, no mistakes, no do-overs. This is the fight of our lives and we are going to win,” he looked at everyone. “Whatever he takes.”
“He’s pretty good at that,” Rocket said. You chuckled, shaking your head. He gave Clint a shrunken version of his spaceship. Bruce got the machine ready as Natasha squeezed your hand.
“See you in a minute,” she said with a smirk. Your helmet activated and the platform opened sucking you into it. It was a weird feeling. You were never on a rollercoaster but you imagined this was what it felt like. Your stomach was moving up and down.
You were tasked with dropping Rhodey and Nebula off. After their spacecraft was unloaded, you watched Rhodey hug Natasha.
“Take care, okay?” She said.
“Get the stones and come back. No messing around,” he said to her. Clint shook his hand. “Hey Big Red,” it was the nickname he gave you. You didn’t know why. You walked over to him. “Watch out for these two idiots,” he said. You smiled. To your surprise, he hugged you. “Come back home too,” he whispered.
“Of course,” you said good luck to Nebula and re-boarded the ship. The coordinates for Vormir were inputted into the ship’s navigation. Clint and Natasha sat down in the seats and you stood between them. The colors that flew by you were indescribable. Clint laughed.
“We’re a long way from Budapest.” Natasha smiled.
“You made a mess of that city.” You told him. He looked at you.
“Did she tell you about that?”
“I was there,” confusion was all over the archer’s face. You laughed, placing your hand on his shoulder. “A story for another time, my friend.” The ship slowed down as the planet came into view. You stood by the window as Clint and Natasha unbuckled and joined you. It was straight out of science fiction. “You know this would be awesome under different circumstances.” You said.
“I think it’s pretty cool,” Clint added.
“Come on, you dorks.” The ship landed and you began the journey to the top of the mountain.
*
Vomir 2023
It was a hike. You were grateful that you were in decent shape but the air was still knocked out of your lungs. “I bet the raccoon didn’t have to climb a mountain,” Natasha groaned.
“Technically he’s not a raccoon, you know?” Clint said with a smile.
“Whatever,” you rolled your eyes and stretched your side. “He eats garbage.”
“Welcome,” you pulled your gun at the mysterious voice. “Natasha, daughter of Ivan. Clint, son of Edith.” He looked at you. “Y/n, daughter of Ilya.” You kept your face neutral at the mention of your father’s name. You took a step forward.
“Who are you?” You asked.
“I am a guide to you and to all who seek the Soul Stone,” Nice. That was convenient.
“Amazing,” Natasha said. “Just tell us where it is and we’ll be on our way.” He sighed.
“If only it was that easy,” he stepped out of the shadows. His face was red, with no skin covering it. You lowered your gun slightly as he pushed past you and walked toward the edge of the cliff. You followed him. “What you seek lies in front of you as does what you fear.” You looked down.
“The stones down there.” You said, looking at him. He nodded.
“For two of you,” he looked towards the vast landscape then behind you. “But for one of you, to take the stone you must lose what you love. An everlasting exchange.” He paused. “A soul for a soul.” You looked down at the ground. Thanos killing his daughter made a lot of sense now. The three of you walked away from the cliff. Thanos sacrificed his daughter and for what? Natasha sat down on a rock, resting her chin on her hands.
“Maybe he’s making shit up,” Clint said. You shook your head, crossing your arms against your chest.
“I don’t think so,” you said. “Thanos left here with the stone and without his daughter. Not a coincidence.” You wished you knew what was going on in Natasha's head.
“Whatever it takes,” she whispered and walked over to the edge. You stood next to Clint, watching her. “If we don’t get that stone, billions of people stay dead.” You nodded. Yelena. Wanda. Sam. Alexei.
“You know,” you said to the man standing next to you. “Thanks for not killing her.” He looked at you. “And you gave them a second chance.” You held out your hand.
“You gave them it,” he shook your hand. “Tell my family I love them.” You smiled.
“Tell them yourself,” you shot him with your Widow Bite. He fell to the ground with a groan. You took off running towards the edge. The commotion got Natasha’s attention and she saw what you were doing. She ran after you, tackling you to the ground.
“What the hell are you doing?” She asked. You looked at Clint. The electricity was wearing off. You didn’t have much time.
“It has to be me,” she shook her head.
“No!” She said. “Absolutely not.” You smiled.
“Sorry, sestra,” you flipped her off of you. “I am the better fighter.” You sprinted for the cliff and jumped. But you were stopped. Natasha was holding onto your hand, attached to the wall by a grappling hook. You looked up at her then down below.
“Clint,” she called for him. “Clint, help me.” The archer appeared above you, his eyes wide as he looked down. He reached for her hand.
“It’s okay,” you said.
“No, no, please,” her voice cracked. Her green eyes were glossy with tears.
“It has to be me,” you told her again.
“Stop talking,” she yelled. She was pleading with you. “It’s not fair. You, me, and Yelena were supposed to be a family again.” You felt your own eyes burn with tears but you couldn’t cry. Her hand was slipping.
“I wrote letters for you, Yelena, mom, and dad. Everyone. They are in my room on my desk.” She looked at you in disbelief. “I had to have a backup plan, you know?” You smiled. “Sestra,” tears were running down her cheeks as the realization set in. “No more guilt, okay? Not about this or all those years ago. I love you.”
“Please,” she whispered.
“It’s okay. Let me go,” you kicked off the rock wall and slipped out of Natasha’s grasp. For so many years you were afraid of death. Death meant the end of the deal. Death meant no one would watch out for your sisters. But now you’ve met the people that were there for them when you weren’t. They were kind and good. You weren’t afraid of death. You welcomed it.
*
There was nothing Natasha could do. She wondered if you’ve ever felt this helpless. Is that why you made a deal with him? So you didn’t feel helpless. The sky lit up a beautiful orange. Natasha opened her eyes and she was laying in a pool of water. She heard footsteps walking over to her. She sat up, looked around, and opened her hand. An orange rock rested in the palm of her hand. Clint fell to his knees next to her and hugged her. Natasha cried. She cried and screamed and beat her hand against his chest. Clint held her tight.
*
Upstate New York, Avengers Compound 2023
They did it. They won. The ashes of the compound settled around Natasha. Everything hurt; her body, her mind, and her heart. She fell to her knees. The letter she found survived the blast felt heavy in her pocket. “Natasha!” Yelena’s voice called out for her. But the redhead didn’t move. Not even when her sister was standing in front of her. “Nat,” she finally looked up. 5 years. 5 years since the last time Natasha saw her sister but for Yelena, it only was a few minutes. “Where is-?” Natasha couldn’t help the sob that escaped her. Yelena’s eyes widened in shock but she didn’t hesitate to bring her sister into her arms. Natasha felt tears on her skin. She didn’t have to say anything. Yelena knew and maybe one day she would tell her what happened. But right now she cried and hugged her. She didn’t care who heard her cry, it didn’t matter. Her sister was gone.
*
Upstate New York, Avengers Compound 2020
There was a memory that Natasha liked to think about. For the past 5 years, you were her support line. It was a Friday night and you were in the kitchen baking cookies as Natasha sat at the island breaking in a new set of pointe shoes. “If we manage to bring everyone back, would you join the Avengers with Yelena and me?” You stopped rolling the dough into balls.
“I’m not a hero, Nat,” you said. Natasha allowed you to finish the tray and place it in the oven.
“Yes, you are.” She finally said as you cleaned up the floor. You looked at her. “To Yelena and me, you are a hero.” You smiled.
“Then that’s all that matters. I don’t need the world to call me a hero. You and Yelena are all I care about.”
Fin.

Kiss Me in Komorebi+ 🌸
[Ep. 16] The Beach Episode Spa Arc
Well… I can’t argue with the numbers. I was going to give Julesx2 the chance to stay if their relationships with each other weren’t higher than their bars with Daniel: but lo and behold, these two have been building up their relationship more than I thought!
Being in control of Dan alone has its perks, but it also means I rarely ever see the relationships the contestants are building with each other - I knew these two spent a lot of time together, but damn! By the time this happened with Daniel literally just upstairs, it seems like Julien and Julian have found their perfect match: while it isn’t with our Bachelor, I think we should be happy for them regardless! 🥹
They will be getting a proper send-off post after we see a small moment of Daniel, Alone, going to grab a coffee before the next Rose Ceremony’s planning. To @mattodore and @morrigan-sims, thank you both for these darling, darling boys! They really are very happy together 🥹

I'm sorry but I'm too much of a sucker for angsty fluff, severe pining and hurt/comfort with no toxicity involved in my comfort ships, so I just cannot see Spaus as toxic marriage ;_; 👉👈 💕
The people around them? Like, their bosses? Yes, toxic pieces of shit that never cared about their opinions or feelings, but they actually loved each other to the end, despite the ups and downs, and they might've taken some things personal in the moment, but in the long run they knew it was just humans politics and things out of their power.
