An Outlaws Christmas
Cowboy!reader x Wanda Maximoff
Summery: Wanda’s father has never liked you, but that won’t stop you from delivering a special gift this season.
Warnings: Mentions of firearms, fluff, Bucky being dramatic.
Words Count: 3.5k
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Bucky I swear to God, you better keep this thing steady.” You muttered between cold breaths, raising your foot to the next step, sensing the ladder tremble beneath you. Your eyes whipped downward, glaring at the cowboy.
He huffed, gripping the ladder tighter. “You just- had to date the rich girl with a four-story mansion didntcha?” He seethed, shifting his weight to support the item. “It’s fucking freezing man.”
Indeed, it was freezing. The middle of December in Fort Worth brought snow gleaming in the streets, covering trails and displeasing the horses. Which you had to use to get here in the first place, Wanda’s house that is. More precisely her fathers house, who wasn’t so keen about you. Why were you here? Simple.
Christmas, the season of giving, in any weather condition. And in any condition you always wanted to visit Wanda, even if Bucky complained about it. Especially tonight, when it was Christmas night. Where family’s would spend their nights together, huddled by the fireplace. Something you wanted to share with Wanda someday.
Something an outlaw like you couldn’t have, but you tried anyway. You tried for her, tried to change your rugged ways. Formerly around this time of year you never would’ve imagined a reason to celebrate this holiday. There was nobody special in your life, no family, and Bucky never liked Christmas ideals.
Now there was Wanda to be that someone. Beautiful, intelligent, amazingly talented Wanda. The girl who went for someone like yourself, a lowlife criminal trying to mend their ways. She saw the good in you, that you failed to see in yourself. And bit by bit she brought it out of you. Blackmail Barnes would constantly use on you, mocking you as the ‘cowboy who got whipped’ or ‘cowboy gone soft’ and his personal favorite ‘Casanova’. Despite the smacks you gave him each time he dared to use those terms, secretly you didn’t mind, it just meant you were closer to change than before. With that in mind, you didn’t let the opportunity to make Wanda your girlfriend pass by you, despite her parents disapproval.
Maybe if you got a better job, in time that would change too.
“Just keep the ladder steady Barnes, I’ll be finished quick.” You hollered over the wind, climbing up with haste. Looking through the windows you recognized them as the third floor, for the servants Wanda had told you. Rich people had rooms for everything nowadays.
“Quick my ass..” He scoffed.
“Was that sarcasm James?”
He let out a groan, pounding his fist on the ladder. “Just get your girl already”
“Alright alright…” You chuckled under your breath, hurrying up the ladder. You didn’t want to risk his impatience, the last thing you wanted was for him to throw you off. Fortunately, with the heavy snowfall, you’d probably only break one rib.
Although Wanda wouldn’t be happy, so you wouldn’t risk it.
Finally, the ladder came to an end, perfectly syncing with Wanda’s bedroom window. You were grateful to Mr. Williamson, your local carpenter, took your request for a 40 foot ladder seriously. Raising up your fist to knock–as you had done so many times before–you found yourself plagued with…hesitancy.
Pulling the poorly wrapped package out of your interior coat pockets, you examined the item. Its contaminants inside were beautiful, even you could admit, but the outside? Poorly wrapped crumbles of brown lunch bag paper with white string holding all the mess together? Was what was on the inside enough for Wanda?
Feeling another shake on the ladder you turned your head down, meeting the eyes of Bucky. He motioned to the window with his head, shooting you a thumbs up. You mouthed a small ‘thanks’ to him, right now wasn’t the time for insecurities. You’re sure Wanda would love the gift, or at least appreciate the gesture.
Clearing your throat, you tapped on the window, announcing yourself, “Wanda! It’s me! Do you mind opening the window?” You asked, waiting for the velvet curtains to part. In all honesty, you weren’t quite sure she was there at the moment. You knew the tendency her parents had of venturing off into parties, dragging her along into them and you assumed Christmas parties were a thing.
A couple of seconds later, you heard shuffling from inside, the curtains opening and your smile widening. Wanda looked through the window, searching for you till her eyes landed on your figure covered in snow. Her eyes widened, her hand lifting up to her chin in shock, “Y/n?”
“Hi Darlin’.” You shot the bewildered woman a toothy grin, lifting your hand to wave at her. Carefully she opened the window slowly, making sure not to knock you over in the process. Her shock eventually subsided into worry, grabbing you by the wrist to pull you inside.
“What are you doing here? It’s cold out, you’ll get sick.” She fretted, patting your forearms to shake off the snow.
“I’ve got my jacket,” You shrugged, her hands staying on your chest. “and I’m here for you. I brought you something for Christmas.” You smiled, digging through your pockets, Wanda tilted her head curiously. Pulling out the paper present you presented it to her.
Her eyes looked down at the gift fondly, she could tell you had wrapped it but thankfully found it endearing. Her fingers ran delicately through the string tying it together, as she turned to look at you with soft eyes and a tender smile tugging at her lips.
“Really?” She whispered, rubbing her hands on your chest before letting them hang on your shoulders. Her smile turned into a small smirk at the way you clearly leaned into her touch. “You didn’t have to Y/n…”
Truthfully you didn’t have to, Wanda had expressed how she was fine with you not celebrating the holiday, knowing how different your childhoods had been. She didn’t expect anything from you, a problem you wanted to change. You were capable enough for her to depend on you.
You blushed, enjoying the feel of Wanda’s fingers caressing the back of your neck. “But I want to, it’s custom to give your loved ones gifts and you’re mine.” You said sheepishly.
Wanda’s face softens at your words, keeping her gaze on you, searching for something more. And you think she’s going to close the distance but instead she moves her gaze to the door, squeezing your shoulders.
“Okay, but I’m afraid this’ll have to be quick.” She sighs “My Fathers due to be back soon, and you know how he feels about our relationship.”
At the mention of her father your expression turns into a slight grimace, the man was a governor, rich beyond belief and trying to get rid of old fashion ways. Including individuals such as yourself, outlaws. He had reason to, but still the thought of him left a bitter distaste in your mouth.
“He’ll learn to love me eventually.”
Wanda lets out a breathy chuckle, shaking her head in denial. “I highly doubt it, he’s very…traditional.”
Traditional. You hated that word.
“I could be traditional.” You tried to reason, even though you were the least bit traditional. It was worth a shot.
“With that rustic drawl of yours I’m not too sure Detka.” Wanda teased, leaning up to place a kiss on the corner of your lips. You wanted to correct her but she continued, “But that’s okay, personally I find it very charming.”
And then she closed the distance between you, savoring the way you let out a small sigh. You missed this, you missed her, you especially missed her touch. The way her hands guided yours down to her waist, encouraging you.
Wanda appreciated your kindness and respect towards boundaries. Making you all the more attractive in her eyes, the way you’d ask before anything, even hand holding, your charming gentleman like behavior. God, she wanted to rip those jeans off you.
You felt Wanda try to deepen the kiss which you eagerly gave into, granting her tongue permission. Her hands slipped inside your shirt, scratching the skin softly, causing your breath to hitch. Pulling away from the kiss with a gasp, resting your forehead against yours, catching your breath.
Wanda snickers between stolen kisses. “Damn it Wands…” You mumble affectedly, “This was ‘post to be about you.”
Pulling her head slightly away she stares up at you, a mischievous grin playing at her lips. “We have a couple minutes to spare, me and you.” Her hold tightened on your neck, pulling you in for another kiss. “I’ve missed you.”
Taking everything in you, you slow down the kiss much to Wanda’s disappointment. You chuckle shyly, remembering how she told you to be quick, ironic. “I’ve missed you too but not- today” You shudder with all seriousness, removing your hands from her hips.
“Mkay, I suppose we could wait for another moment.” She says, releasing her hold on you. “Besides you know I like taking my time with you.” She winks, laughing at your reaction.
“Quit teasin’ me…” You sigh, trying to shake off the blush dusting your cheeks, something that tended to happen with Wanda. The brunette only shrugged, feigning innocence. She took a hold of your wrist pulling you towards her bed, taking a seat and then patting the space beside her. Eagerly you settle in beside her, placing the gift on her lap.
“Open it.” You smile, anticipating the reaction.
Wanda fiddles with the present, tilting her head. “What is it?”
You snort “Well you won’t know until you open it Wands.”
Pursing her lips Wanda tugs on the strings, delicately unwrapping the gift which you didn’t really get, considering it wasn’t some high class material but kept quiet. Once the paper wrapping was off it revealed a rectangular shaped black leather box, it looked rather expensive. Feeling the leather Wanda confirmed her thoughts with widened eyes. Pure rich leather.
Her fingers traced the fabric, turning to stare at you. “Y/n what is this…” She whispered, you urged her to open the lid. And when she did the gasp that left her lips was almost comical. “Oh my gosh.”
“It’s a pendant.” You pointed out, feeling a little uncomfortable under her strong gaze. Did she like it? If only mind readers existed.
“Yes I know but, how?” She questioned, picking up the necklace before frowning. It was beautiful. “Detka…I don’t need you spending this much on me. This looks far too pricy.” Came her response, you sucked your teeth already expecting that answer from her. Wanda was never one to let you spoil her, knowing how much you made, odd considering you made a good amount…with a gun.
“Saving up money isn’t that hard, you’ve just gotta kill the right men to get it.” You smile sheepishly, a poor attempt to lighten the mood.
“Y/n.” Wanda glared, disliking your joke.
“I’m joking! Honest.” You laughed, putting your hands up in surrender. “Actually this jewel wasn’t so hard to find.”
“You found it?”
“Yup, mined it straight from that rock. Me and Barnes were chasing after a guy…” You hesitated, her raised eyebrow challenging you to finish that sentence. “To talk, down in the mines, when I found it. It reminded me of you, just like your eyes. So I plucked it open and took it to a jeweler. All's fair, no shooting involved.” You swore, crossing a finger across your heart.
Wanda just shook her head, rubbing her temple with her hand. You could tell she was upset at the revelation, she never appreciated hearing stories that could’ve killed you. Another thing you were trying to change, this one was more challenging as there were many people who wanted you dead, the difficult part was getting Wanda to understand that.
Both of you were stubborn that way.
“Does that…make it worse?” You asked carefully, debating whether to put a hand on her back, eventually deciding against and placing it back on your side. You didn’t want to overwhelm her. “I could get you one from the store if you’d like. I saw some real pretty ones there too.”
“That makes it all the more special to me, you mined it straight from the rock and fixed it up but you know how I feel about your ‘talks’.” She ended with a slightly twinge of annoyance. “I just worry about you and your job.”
You fiddled with the sheets underneath your fingertips, unsure what to say about that besides an apology. “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to worry you.”
Worrying was something no one had ever cared to do for you in your lifetime, not until Wanda. The feeling was strange…and something to get used to. You tried to be more understanding towards Wanda’s feelings, having picked up a book or two on how to maintain a healthy relationship, and Wanda was gladly by your side throughout the process.
“Its fine really, so long as you come back to me alive.” She empathized the last word, giving you a stern look. You nodded your head, agreeing with her. Lifting up her chin, carrying a satisfied look by your response, she trusted you. “If not I’ll come back and kill you myself.”
“Honey, me and you both know that you don’t know your way around a revolver.” You teased, leaning in forward to grasp her hand and place a small peck on the back of it.
“Just like you don’t know your way around the kitchen?” She retorted smugly, causing your eyebrows to furrow.
“I know my way…my meals are cooked with the intent of survival.”
“Clearly taste isn’t a part of your ideologies of ‘survival’.” She sneered, you tried to hide your smile but ultimately failed, laughing along with her.
The atmosphere had shifted, no longer holding that same tension as it did before. Worries and insecurities had left you, laughing along with the girl you had grown to love. You loved moments like these, carefree ones. Ones where you didn’t have to worry about wild snakes or bandits trying something. Ones where you could be happy with the person you loved most.
Admiring your girlfriend you couldn’t help yourself but to lean forward and cup her chin, connecting your lips together. It was a quick kiss, one you pulled away from as quick as it started, not permitting Wanda the chance to kiss back.
Instead she stared at you in shock, cheeks red. You had initiated something. Feeling flustered from the attention you looked down at your lap in embarrassment, which was quickly overtaken by Wanda who threw herself on you in glee, pampering kisses all over your face.
“I love you.” She whispered, kissing your cheeks. “Even if you’re a reckless idiot who climbs up four story mansions, and is a part time bounty hunter.” A kiss to your nose “But you’re my idiot.” A kiss to your forehead “Forever.” And finally your lips.
“Forever?”
“Mhm, mind putting this on me?” She requested, grabbing the necklace chain. You nodded happily, watching her shift in your lap to get a better view. Gently you pushed her hair aside, bringing the jewelry round her neck. It took a couple of frustrating attempts to get inside the clasp but eventually you managed, closing it.
Wanda thanked you with another kiss before moving herself off your lap and standing to get a view of the necklace in the mirror. Pushing yourself off the bed, you followed your girlfriend into her closet, admiring how divine the jewel looked on her.
“You look gorgeous.” You sighed, hearts racing at just the sight of her.
Wanda smiled, toying with the jewel. “It’s very pretty, I love it, thank you.” She reassured, placing a hand on your shoulder and giving you a loving kiss on the cheek. You smile back at her, taking the initiative to bring your lips together this time, sharing a loving kiss. That’s all it was, love.
Wanda smiled happily into the kiss, proud of you for taking initiative again, slotting her arms back on your neck. Tilting her head to deepen the kiss she pulled away, “But you know what would’ve been nicer?”
“What?”
“A ring.”
“A ring?”
“If this was your way of claiming your mark on me, it was a nice attempt but usually people settle for rings.” She replied, playing with the baby hairs on the back of your neck. “Which I’m still waiting for, maybe that way you’ll have a reason to put that gun down for once. A family to come back to.”
A family.
Oh gosh.
Hoping it wasn’t embarrassingly obvious how much you enjoyed that idea, you barely managed to squeak out a small, “But you like the necklace right…?”
“Of course, it’ll be hard to take it off of me now.” Wanda retorted playfully “Unless you’re willing to try?”
“I um.” You swallowed dryly, definitely now you knew your face was looking as ripe as a tomato.
At your expression Wanda let out a hearty laugh, furthering your embarrassment. She slapped an arm at your chest playfully, “I’m just teasing Detka, breathe. Although I’m serious about that, I’ll wear it forever.”
“I’m glad you like it. Like really glad, I wasn’t too sure and Bucky wasn’t much help.” You said, recalling the way Bucky had fallen asleep midway through your shopping session in search of something for the girl.
“I can see that he's never been the romantic type, unless you count that disastrous encounter with Natasha as romance then, maybe.” Both of you cringed at the memory.
Sputters of a car garnered your attention distracting you from the girl in your arms. The noise sounded suspiciously like her fathers new automobile, quickly you removed your hands from Wanda’s body. Wanda too, let you go at impressive speeds, rushing to take a look outside the window. Peering outside she was met with the sight of her father, who was kicking the tire of his car, muttering curses under his breath.
Oh shit her father.
Oh shit Bucky.
“Bucky.” You gasped, collecting your things. “Shit shit shit, Buckys still outside.”
“My fathers here.” Wanda said through gritted teeth, your eyes widened, rushing to get out of there. Before you could get too far Wanda stopped you with a tug at your forearm, smacking a box at your chest.
“What’s this?” You questioned, eyebrows furrowed, pushing the box back to get a better look at it. Quickly Wanda tugged your chin to meet her, placing one last peck on your lips before pulling the window open.
“Christmas gift.” She explained, “I don’t like what you do, and this isn’t me encouraging it, but you’re my girlfriend and I love you. So that’s that, now go before I change my mind.”
You nodded your head dumbly, unsure what she meant by all that, but climbed out anyway, waving her goodbye with the box secured in your hands.
Once you reached the bottom it was only then that you realized what she meant by those words, a new rifle stood in your hands. One of the best models out there. Grinning widely you took no time in ripping it out of the box, oh how you loved this girl.
“Fouty fucking minutes.” Bucky snarled, still shaking the snow off his body. There wasn’t a single part of him that wasn’t white from head to toe. “Forty! You left me in the cold for Forty minutes!!” He shook his leather hat violently, slapping it around.
You sighed, taking the hat off your head and dusting yourself as well. In contrast you weren’t so full of snow, which just upset the man more. “I’m sorry Buck, I didn’t mean to take so long, but it was amazing.” The last part came out in awe.
Bucky placed his hat back on firmly, throwing a glare at you. He knew that voice, that puppy love coded tone of yours that only ever arose to haunt him when you were on the verge of an hour talk about Wanda. He debated shooting you right now before you started again.
“Forty minutes…I could’ve gotten frostbite you know, then who’s gonna cover you? Wanda? Like hell.” He muttered, narrowing his eyes at you when you pulled out your new rifle. One of the newest models too, he had to admit he was quite envious.
“She’s so amazing…”
“Are you even listening to me?!” He said exasperated, throwing his hands in the air.
“She gave me a gun…” You sighed dreamily, hugging the firearm to your chest. “Not just any gun Bucky, but a Winchester Model. The expensive good kind too.” You exclaimed, shaking him by the shoulders. His face scrunched up, smacking you away.
Bucky huffed from beside you, continuing to walk since you were too lovesick to lead. The building wasn’t too far from here. “She got me a good revolver too, you ain’t special.”
“Yeah but…mines better.”
“That doesn’t even- whatever you still took too damn long in there.”
“I haven’t seen her in weeks!” You whined, trying to defend yourself.
Bucky let out a grunt, rolling his eyes. “Yeah and you won’t see her in weeks, with all that back pain you’re gonna get.”
“What?”
“I call dibs on the good mattress, you fucked with me too much this time.” He shrugged, opening the door to your shared building.
“That’s not-”
“And by the way, I can still see her lipstick all over you.” He motioned to your face, before pointing down your neck. “You might wanna cover up those hickeys too, Bottom.”
“James!”

Left Behind and Bleeding
Summary: you’ve been feeling forgotten all week when your period shows up you just want to curl up and hide. Will your girlfriends look after you this time?
TW: Angst, periods, being forgotten, anxiety, feeling left out, abandonment issues, self-doubt, mentions of drug use, teasing
Words: 1.2K
A/n: it’s that time of the month when I hit you with another period fic lol. Sorry it’s a bit short. Also … I may be projecting again … maybe hehe.
It had been a bad few days to say the least. To start off you had plans to hang out with Natasha, but she got given a last-minute mission, so you had to postpone. Which would have been fine on its own, but it seemed yo have sparked a pattern.
All week people had been cancelling on you, having some reason or another that seemed valid at the time but looking back made you overthink.
Wanda had some people she needed to visit, and you understood. But everyone seemed to be prioritising other things. Even your mother wasn’t answering your calls. Leading you to believe she was either dead or ignoring you.
On the fourth day of having nobody to hang out with in the usually very busy tower, you were getting fed up.
Your mind had been trying to spin a story that everyone simply didn’t like you. That they would rather hang out with other people and that you really didn’t have anyone in your corner.
Of course, you had been fighting the notion for days now, but it was getting harder to ignore as people continued to have bigger, better things to do without you.
Nat had gotten back from her mission and had immediately gone to do some training and after you caught her watching a movie with Clint. You had moped around your room all afternoon, feeling like you were a B-list avenger at best.
Your mind had convinced you that nobody cared and so you had spent the afternoon crying alone in your room.
When dinner came, it seemed everyone had returned. Something you had not been counting on, so your eyes were still red and puffy when Jarvis announced dinner.
In a panic you threw on some sunglasses in an attempt to keep the others from finding out.
Yet it had simply orchestrated a point of teasing for the whole meal. Everyone wanted to know why you were wearing them, but you kept your head down and tried to seem cheerful.
Sam was trying to convince people that you must have been high, while wanda could practically hear your loud thoughts from the other end of the table. Her and Nat exchanged expressions when you got up from the meal not even halfway through.
Feeling awful you almost cried when you got back to your room to discover your period had started.
Life seemed to be throwing more than a few curveballs at you, it was throwing the full field.
You stuck in a pad and threw on some warm pjs before crawling under the covers and letting a few tears fall while your breathing evened out.
Wanda had finished her dinner around the same time as Natasha had so, they had met up in the kitchen while washing their dishes.
“Wanda?” Nat asked from where she was drying her plate off.
“Yeah?” Wanda asked, her hands covered in suds.
Nat chewed her lip for a second before carefully selecting her words. “Was there … anyone off with Y/n these last few days?” Nat asked.
“I don’t know why?” Wanda said and Nat frowned.
“What do you mean ‘I don’t know’ werent you here?” Nat said.
“No? I told you I was visiting friends for a few days.” Wanda said.
“Oh my god.” Nat said feeling bad. “Did we both ditch her for a week?”
“No? I mean surely, she had the others to hang out with. Right?” Wanda said.
“Jarvis?” Nat called to the ceiling.
“Yes, Ms Romanoff what can I do for you?” The AI responded.
“Who in the past week has cancelled plans with Y/n?” Nat asked.
“In the past week I believe each of the avengers have been either ‘too busy’ or had ‘other plans’ to spend time with Ms L/n.” Jarvis said.
“Oh god.” Wanda said. “Jarvis? What has Y/n been doing this past week?”
“Ms L/n has spent most of her time in her room. Either sleeping or crying. She also has been avoiding everyone for the last half of the week.” Jarvis said and Wanda and Natasha’s hearts broke.
“We are the worst girlfriends ever.” Wanda said feeling awful.
“We should go check on her.” Nat agreed and the two of them headed for the lift.
When they stood outside your bedroom door Natasha hesitated for a second.
“What if she doesn’t want to see us?” Nat asked.
“Im sure she will, it’s Y/n. She may be sad but her hearts still twenty-four carat.” Wanda said and Nat nodded and knocked.
When no response came, she gently opened the door. Making out a Y/n shaped lump in the bed she entered and quietly walked over to your side.
Wanda took note of the chocolate wrappers on your bedside table and the hot water bottle you had cuddled up to.
You had seemingly used your powers to heat up the water-bottle and your brow was creased in pain.
“Nat?” Wanda said and Natasha nodded.
“I see.” She said.
Wanda sighed and slipped into bed behind you. Gently playing with your hair as Nat went to search for some pain medicine for you, knowing that you wouldn’t have taken any yet.
Wanda rubbed slow circles on your back and brushed a hand onto your cheek.
“Y/n baby, can you open your eyes for me my love?” Wanda asked softy. You let out a small whimper and Wanda’s heart melted.
“Wands?” You asked in a small voice.
“Yes, baby its me.” She said pressing a featherlight kiss to your cheekbone.
“Hurts.” You said softly and she nodded.
“Natty’s gone to get you some medicine.” Wanda said just as Natasha walked back in with some pills and a glass of water.
“Here you go my sweet girl.” Nat said as wanda helped sit you up, leaning into her side.
Nat passed you the medicine and you took it without protest, telling both girls just how bad you were really feeling.
“I’m sorry we weren’t here my love.” Nat said brushing a curl from your cheek.
“That’s ok. You had important things to do.” You mumbled into Wanda’s chest where you had buried your face.
“Baby girl, nothings more important than you.” Wanda said stroking your hair.
“Why don’t we put on a movie, and you can try and get some sleep ok?” Nat said gently and you nodded, shuffling over to make room for her on the bed.
Wanda used her magic to open the small mini fridge in the room and floated a pint of your favourite icecream and three spoons over.
“I got this for you before I left my love.” Wanda said with a smile passing you a spoon.
Natasha slipped in beside you and Wanda, passing you the remote you put on an episode of Parks and Recreation as you began to eat some icecream and cuddle.
After a few spoonfuls Nat stole the container, Afterall you have been making a mess. There was even icecream on your nose which wanda softly kissed away, making you giggle as you begun doze in the presence of your two amazing girlfriends.

stoner!wanda corrupting innocent!reader over a period of time! slowly introducing you to her favorite music and true crime podcasts, incorporating her kinks into your sex life one at a time until she doesn’t even have to prod you to call her mommy anymore, you do it all on your own and you enjoy it. she’ll never forget how pink your cheeks became the first time she told you to call her that. her head was buried between your legs, lapping away at your core after she’d spent the night teasing you at a party with all of her friends. your hands were in her hair, hips grinding against her tongue, desperate to finally fall over the edge, but every time you got close she lightened her touch and pretended like she didn’t notice. you cried out after the third time, and she looked up at you with the darkest stare you’d seen her give, pupils blown wide not only because of her lust, and she’d said, “call me mommy. if you really want to cum right now, you’ll call me mommy.” and you had, despite your reservations. that was one of the best orgasms you’d ever experienced, and wanda didn’t let you forget how your legs shook for minutes afterward. one night, she convinced you to join her on the roof of her apartment building under the guise that she could see orion’s belt, but really she’d just been smoking a joint and wanted you to join her. you’d declined her offer every time up until this point, but when she promised that it would warm you up, the harsh november cold settling into your bones despite your warmest pjs and big coat, you gave in. you thought she would’ve handed the joint over, maybe even talked you through how big of a hit to take, but she’d just grabbed your face in her cold hands and pressed her lips against yours, breathing the smoke into your mouth and watching you intensely as you pulled away and coughed. you liked it, even though it made your eyes burn and your throat tickle, and so she did it again, and once that fuzzy, floaty feeling hit your head, the world spinning and the stars so much brighter then you remembered, you somehow found the courage to ask if you could take your very own hit, and who was she to deny you? you didn’t decline her offers to get high anymore after that night.

"So, girlfriends?"
Tumblr media
Sum: While having a friendly dinner, Wanda walks in on you and Nat having some fun.
Warnings ⚠️ : Mentions of kissing, partial nudity? (that's it?)
A/N: I'm back! And with another excellent (💀) fic I think you'll all enjoy ;]
✨️
3rd person pov
Wanda Maximoff is your best friend in the whole universe. With the exception of your girlfriend Natasha Romanoff, of course. You love them both more than anything.
Which is why it stings when you see the way Nat looks at her. You can tell she has a big crush on her, which you admittedly also have on the brunette. But that doesn't mean you'd do anything, and hopefully, your girlfriend won't either. She is your best friend, after all.
Since you moved into your apartment together, you have caught Nat constantly checking Wanda out, as if she were you. You want to confront her about her obvious crush on her, but what if she notices the way you look at Wanda, too?
After considering all the scenarios in your head, you decide that the only way is to be in a throuple with them both. You've never tried it before, but you've also seen the way Wanda looks at Natasha. You try and see the way she looks at you, hoping she likes you too, but you just don't see it.
You told yourself if the opportunity ever does rise, you'll take them both, but for now, you'll stare at her from across the dinner table, like right now.
In the first month of living together, Tasha decided that you and your friends should have a (whenever possible) monthly dinner. Yelena and Kate sat together, you and Nat sat together too, and Wanda sat opposite you and Nat. Yelena was telling some story to Kate and Nat, and you and Wanda were just pretending to listen.
Wanda wore her black dress as you wore your green one, just like you and her coordinated your outfits to match. Natahsa wore her favourite velvet suit, Kate wore a red one, and Yelena wore a black dress.
You watched Wanda smile and blush as Nat said something toward her in the conversation they were having.
Y/n pov
God, she looks so gorgeous tonight. And with the rings on her hands- I'm definitely falling for her. I feel something rest on my thigh, and my breath hitches. I look down to see Nat's hand resting there. She looks at me, and I smile back as she continues talking to Wanda.
We all finished our food, which luckily Wanda helped us out with. She is the best cook I've ever known. Not being able to take it anymore, I take the plates out into the kitchen, and Nat follows behind me.
"You alright, maylsh? You've been acting strange all evening." I sigh. "Please, Nat, I can't take it anymore!" She cocks her head to the side, confused. I walk down the hall, my hand tight around her wrist. I open our bedroom door, close it, pin her up against it, and smash my lips hastily onto hers.
She chuckles at me. "Oh? So this is what you've been strange for? Couldn't wait another couple of hours, could you?" I shake my head aggressively "Baby you know we can't do it with those three out there. That's my sister!" Almost whining, I beg her to do it quickly. She soon caves at the sight of me.
We kiss for around 5 minutes, and suddenly, I see Wanda standing at our doorway, looking as if she stopped mid scentence. "Oh, sorry, I- um- we didn't know where you were since you weren't in the kitchen. I'll be going now."
She turns around to leave, but I get up and tap her shoulder. She spins around back to me, and the next thing I know, I end up kissing her. I hear Natasha gasp. As I pull away, I see a very red Wanda standing in front of me. I push her onto the bed next to Tasha and close the door.
Just as I sit on the bed, all of us now in our underwear and bras, I hear the familiar Russian accent coming from down the hall. "Where are you guys? If you don't hurry up, I'm going to start the movie without you three!" Natasha laughs as she grabs her suit from off the floor and starts putting it back on. As Natasha goes to leave, I give her a quick kiss on those swollen lips of hers.
Wanda looks at me with something new in her eyes. "How long have you liked me for Wands?" I ask, very curious to know the answer. "Since the first month, we were friends." She looks down sheepishly.
"Oh my poor baby, I'm sorry that I didn't notice it before. But Nat and I have liked you for quite some time, even if she hasn't talked about it, I'm 99% sure she does." She nods, helping me zip up my short dress.
She trails kisses up my neck, and I let out a groan as she sucks on the sweet spot of my neck. "Wanda, we can't right now, Nat is gonna kill us if she misses out on this." She sighs, hugging my waist from behind. "I know, I've just wanted to do that for so long. But now we've gotta act normal for Lena and Kate right?"
I look at her with apologetic eyes through the mirror. "It's okay y/n/n. They'd ask questions otherwise." I nod as I turn around to hug her. I hear my notifications go off.
My one and only 🫶🏻: hey baby. I told them that you felt a bit sick and Wanda is helping you out. Just bc they were asking questions xx
I texted her back with a quick okay and thank you before dragging Wanda out of the bedroom.
When we get to the couch, I see Nat sitting next to Lena, who's cuddling Kate, and a space for Wanda, and I.
1 hour later...
"Bye, guys! Thank you for coming! See you again next month!" You hear Nat shout out as you wake up cuddled into Wanda's side. You look up at her to see her still asleep. It makes you feel all gooey inside like it does when you look at Tasha.
You see the stunning redhead walk back in and you smile at her. "So..." you trail off, waiting for her to say something. "So." She sits back down on the other side of Wanda, cuddling into her other side, giving her forehead a quick kiss before putting her head into a comfortable position. "Earlier was...brilliant." I giggle.
"I've seen the looks you've given her for months. For a while, it hurt, knowing you liked my best friend, but then I realised that you never stopped looking at me like that either. For a while, I thought about what I could do about it, and I decided to just let it go. But then she caught us, and I was (and still am, by the way) desperate, and I knew we both liked her, so I just went for it...and here we are."
She nods gently, with a smile on her face. "Well, detka, if it's okay with you, I'd like Wanda to be our girlfriend?" I stop breathing for a second. "Of course it's okay, Tasha. As long as Wanda is happy, I'm happy." She takes my hand and holds it on top of Wanda's stomach. "Same here y/n/n."
"And here." I hear a croaky voice choke out. As if in sync, Tasha and I both look up at the same time to see Wanda rubbing her eyes with a very wide smile and lots of blush on her face. We both sit up to make Wands more comfortable. I kiss her cheek and Nat does the same. We all laugh uncontrollably.
"So, girlfriends?" We all look at each other with smiles on our faces "Girlfriends."
"That's great but I think you owe Wands and I some sex." Nat rolls her eyes and chuckles, putting us both on either hip and taking us to our room.
Let's just say not a single one of us could walk for a week after that...

SO SCARLET IT WAS
REQUEST — can you do a blurb of Wanda and reader? where reader has been sending wanda love letters anonymously. in the end it's revealed it was reader and wanda asks why they would do that when they are already married
WARNINGS — mentions of canon age of ultron events, mentions of canon civil war events, mentions of natasha’s death in endgame although very brief for my own sanity more then yours, parent clint and nat although it’s more nat focused, fluff to the max
AUTHORS NOTE — i don’t wanna talk about how this was supposed to be a blurb. also, for the sake of this timeline, wandavision is genuine not a scripted reality. wanda and reader did everything the right way and found a life together in westview
Tumblr media
AGE OF ULTRON
You shouldn't have fallen in love so easily, especially not with her, you were a trained Avenger for thors sake, love was supposed to be at the bottom of your priorities barrel. That was easier said than done, because from the very first time that your eyes met across the battlefield, everything inside of you froze, skipped, and stuttered all at once. You should’ve been alert enough to detonate the blast before it could wound Clint, usually you were steps ahead of it, but her eyes were absorbing all the explosions around you and the soft watercolor green was alight with fireworks so beautiful you couldn’t look away. After that, you stood no chance of ever clearing her from your head. Even if she was supposed to be the enemy, even if you’d never experienced love before. Nat and Clint gave you the benefit of the doubt at first. You never missed your mark on a mission, but the cold temperatures and the fact that Helen said your heart rate was alarmingly high for your average bpm had given them the slightest indication that something was bothering you. That maybe, you hadn’t been so recovered from your history with Hydra as they thought. So, they sent you back to therapy.
Truthfully, therapy distracted you from her for a while, revisiting your past could distract you from anything for a short amount of time, but then you started having dreams. Not the nightmares that tickled your belly and drenched you in sweat and had you knocking on Natashas bedroom door at three in the morning looking for evidence that you really had been saved, but dreams of what ifs that all included her. Dreams where Natasha and Clint weren't the ones who found you barely clinging to life in an abandoned facility in Russia, dreams where it was her. That should’ve been the second indicator that you were never going to escape the curse she laid upon your heart without a single word. But you still tried to convince yourself that you could get over this, that you could see straight with clear judgment.
When she got inside of Natasha’s head the second time you crossed paths, you should’ve been enraged. You should’ve been cured of any delusion you harbored in your heart, but the attack only made you hurt for her. If things had played out differently, if Natasha and Clint had found her like they’d found you, maybe she wouldn’t be the enemy. If Natasha and Clint hadn’t found you, maybe you’d have ended up in her shoes, afraid to go against the only orders you knew. In moments like these, where Natasha’s half unconscious lost in her mind, and Clint is rolling in panic, and Tony is enraged and defeated, you seem to be the only one aware enough to recognize that maybe this is all she knows. That maybe, she’s just trying to not to get hurt again.
Natasha sees your feelings for what they are a few hours after landing at the farm. You had been sorting through your small selection of clothes that Laura organized in the back of the guest room closet while Natasha took a shower. You wanted to find something loose that didn’t irritate the healing wounds on your side from the first mission, but you were so far in your head you’d looked at the same shirt four times without realizing. Natasha had watched the entire event unfold, and like she never could when it came to you, fought feelings of rage and pride. You are the closest thing she’s ever going to have to a daughter, and watching you fall in love with someone so dangerous, she doesn’t know what the appropriate reaction is.
“You like her.” The assassin's tone was even, not giving away if she felt one way or another about the predicament you’ve landed in, but keeping her posture open so you wouldn’t shut down like you had a habit of doing. She and Clint knew you like the back of their hand, how had it taken them this long to realize you weren’t just reeling at the confrontation of your past, but falling in love with the enemy. You hadn’t even noticed she was still in the room with you, and that the shower water hadn’t been running at all. Every muscle in your body tensed, you were caught, and this could only go so many ways.
“I'm sorry.” With wide eyes, you faced your mentor who had become like a mother to you in the last decade. You weren’t a kid with heavy PTSD anymore, you had overcome most of it, not without extensive work and self-reflection, but for the most part, you were just an ordinary teenage girl who saved the world on occasion. That’s what Clint and Natasha saw when they looked at you. That wasn’t the girl Natasha was looking at now. She was staring eye to eye with a child tortured by Hydra. A child without family and without confidence in herself. A child who thought she was about to be hurt.
In that moment, Natasha abandoned the rage she was clinging onto in her belly. At that moment, Natasha decided to lean into her pride, to just be your mother instead of your mentor. You had found somebody you cared about, and as your mother, she would be elated to help you recognize that feeling without holding onto the shame you were undoubtedly forcing yourself to remember. “You don’t have anything to be sorry for, Malyshka.”
“She’s the enemy! She hurt you, she-she could’ve killed Clint!” You spluttered, trying to reason with yourself that this wasn’t a good thing. That you were insane for trying to redeem a girl who had almost torn apart the only family you have.
Natasha forced herself to see the situation from your shoes, something she admittedly should’ve done from the get. She forced herself to remember that you had been with Hydra for six years of your life, that had she and Clint not found you, you might’ve ended up on the same field with Wanda playing against them. She never wanted to think about that possibility, never wanted to think about how little her life would mean without you, but in another universe, she’s sure that's how it played out. “She’s just a kid who doesn’t want to get hurt. But you didn’t fall in love with the enhanced, did you?” Natasha asked, and your cheeks flushed so violently scarlet they were almost maroon, almost the same deep shade as the magic tendrils that danced between your crushes fingers. “When the blast hit Clint, you were frozen. I thought you were stuck in a flashback, that the cold had brought you back to that abandoned base, that wasn’t it, was it? You were looking at her. You were seeing her as a person, not a weapon. Something we all should’ve done a lot sooner.”
“She has the greenest eyes, Nat. But-but after the blast hit Clint, she-she was so scared. She’s just trying not to get hurt. Something happened to her, I think she’s still scared because of it.” You admitted, tears welling in your eyes at the possibility of her getting hurt at your hands, because at the end of the day, you would never sacrifice Clint and Nat for her. At the end of the day, your side was with the people who raised you.
“Whatever you choose, Clint and I support you.” Natasha hated that her voice shook with tears, she hated that you were growing up, she hated that you were being shoved into a corner where you had to pick between finding out who you were as a person, or being an Avenger.
At the mention of your mentor who was like a father, your chest grew tighter. She almost killed him. She almost took him away from you, from his kids, from his wife. How would he ever forgive you for choosing her? “She almost killed him, Nat.”
“You will never, never lose us. Get that thought out of your head, right now.”
You sniffled, shuffling your feet against the carpeted floors to feel something other than stabs of aching pain in your chest. How did you end up here? “I don’t blame Clint if he doesn’t forgive her. If it comes down to his life or hers. I don’t blame him if he chooses to live.”
“Malyshka, I could’ve shot him the first day I met him. There is not an ounce of self-preservation in his bones. He sees the good in people too easily to just give up on them. Just like you. If it comes down to him or her, he’s choosing the both of them. You know that as well as I do.”
“Nat?” You asked softly after silence had fallen over the two of you for a beat, her words circling your head and your heart on a loop. When your mentor hummed, you spoke again, this time admitting what you’d been trying to deny. “I think I love her.”
CIVIL WAR
You didn’t want to believe what you were hearing. You didn’t want to believe that half of your team and mentors had signed the accords, that they had agreed with Secretary Ross to an extent and therefore fed into the bullshit propaganda that the enhanced were dangerous. You were almost enhanced. If Hydra had succeeded, you would’ve been all the same as Wanda and the new vigilante Spiderman. Had they forgotten that? Did they really only see Wanda for her powers? Not for the teenage girl that had lost her parents and her brother and been manipulated and abused and used as a test-subject? Had they just let that slip their mind so easily?
You hadn’t left Wanda’s side since Natasha broke the news to you. Almost a year had grown between now and the events of Ultron, and the former was trying her best to fit in, to make up for all the red in her ledger at the hands of Hydra. She was making leaps of improvement, but that still wasn’t enough. She was still just another enemy in the eyes of Secretary Ross, and he had asked you to do the impossible. Choose a side. Why was everyone making you choose a side?
Wanda tried not to let you see how much this was upsetting her, but from the moment you saw her across the battlefield you’d been able to read her like she was your favorite book. When she held you at night, you could feel how tense she was. When she walked around the compound, you could see how uncomfortable she felt and how she wanted to just melt away and not exist. It broke your heart, but once again, you’d been put in a situation where you couldn’t do anything to help. A situation where the majority saw you as just a kid unfortunate enough to have no real family.
“Let's run away.” You suggest one night when you’re wrapped up in nothing but a thin blanket and Wanda’s arms, far far away from reality and for this one single moment in time, it’s just the two of you. Just Wanda and Y/N. There aren’t any superpowers, or any Avengers level threats, or United States government officials trying to control them like objects the same way Hydra had. It’s just them. Just two teenagers broken by life and in love.
“To where.” Wanda hummed, her lips flush against your neck as she fought sleep to instead spend this moment with you. The vibration of her voice tickled your belly in the sweetest way you had ever experienced, and a flush spread across your cheeks so scarlet in color it was almost maroon.
“I’ve always wanted to go to Ohio. I hear it’s the best place to create your own reality.” You admit shyly, picking up the cold hand that's draped across your midsection, and beginning to play with her fingers and pull at her knuckles to hear them crack the way she loves, especially after training sessions with Natasha where their main focus had been working on controlling her magic. Secretly, you love the way her muscles contract after her knuckles pop and how she involuntarily squeezes your hand in hers. Secretly, its not a secret at all.
Wanda lets you play your game, knowing your intention but having never shared her knowledge with you. She finds it cute how eager you are to feel her, even in ways as innocent as this moment. And secretly, although it's no secret to you, she loves feeling you all the same. She loves coming up behind you and hugging you tightly, she loves when you just lay against her and shudder every time her breath tickles your neck, she loves when it's just the two of you in a moment as nothing more than girlfriends. “What would we be in this reality?”
“Fiances.”
Wanda snorts, laughing so hard the muscles in her belly tighten and her face goes scarlet. “We’re a little young for that, detka.”
“Childhood lovers. We would’ve been best friends since Kindergarten. You would’ve asked me to be your girlfriend in the fifth grade, after I failed a spelling test and wouldn’t stop crying. I would have said yes without a pause. We would’ve never broken up, and our parents would have loved it. Pietro would’ve teased us, but he would be happy for you. And when we graduated high school, you would’ve gotten down on one knee right then and there. We wouldn’t waste a single moment. And Nat and Clint would be elated. Your parents would call me their daughter. It would be perfect, our life in Ohio. Nobody would bat an eye at how young we are, because love doesn’t know numbers, it just knows feelings.”
Wanda sniffled, wondering how she could get so lucky to have you. “Would we have kids?”
“Two. Twins. I would think they were girls the entire time, and I would ask that we name them Natalia and Lauren, but you would know that they were boys. You never told me that, but when they were born you’d tell me you dreamt it. Two boys, William and Thomas. We’d call them Billy and Tommy. They’d be just like you. Stubborn and silly, but the sweetest angels. Our life would be complete.”
“And we’d raise them in Ohio?”
You shook your head, twisting in Wanda’s arms so you could see her watercolor eyes. Even without explosives lighting up the room, there are fireworks in them. “I would find us the perfect plot in New Jersey. We would build a home for them, where they could just be kids, and we could be the cool moms who host sleepovers and invite the entire town to birthday parties. Nat and Clint would visit on holidays, and they’d be sad that we moved away, but they’d be so happy for us. We would be so happy.”
ENDGAME
How could this be happening? How could you spend five years without the woman you love, and the second you have hope of getting her back, lose the woman who was the closest thing you had to a mother? How could you gain the weight of hope, and lose it in seconds. Five years without Wanda was agonizing, but you never feared for a second that you wouldn’t get her back. You had lost too much to give up, and when Tony had come to the compound, saying he found a way to get everyone back, how did you not know that you would lose everything all over again? How had you let his words sound like a fairytale? Why was the world always sacrificing the things that completed you? Why did you think for a second you could ever be completely happy?
WANDAVISION (wandayn sounded wrong)
“This is the sixth letter I’ve found since Monday!” Wanda was exasperated, coming into the kitchen with her arms full of babies and letters. Her messy red hair was tied back, away from her face, no doubt due to the fact that Billy and Tommy had just entered a phase where they loved to grab and yank at your hair if you left it down and in reach.
“Oh? What’s this one say?” You quizzed, brushing flour off of your hands and grabbing the dishrag. The kitchen was a disaster as you attempted to bake a cake for the twins first birthday, but you couldn’t care less about the mess as you took in the sight of your wife. She looked absolutely ethereal, with hair so red it was almost maroon and love in her eyes so exuberant it was like a never ending firework show.
“Something about how I complete them!” She was completely at her end with these letters, and the anonymous slash at the bottom that gave away nothing about who it could be from. The both of you had come a long way since mourning Natasha and finding a life for yourself in New Jersey, and the last thing Wanda wanted was somebody tearing apart everything that was finally good. That was finally easy. You both deserved this more than anybody else.
Your eyes sparkled mischievously, a glint of something chaotic catching Wanda’s attention. “They’re from you, aren’t they!” She gasped, handing you Tommy when he started to fuss, and adjusting Billy now that her other arm was free. You giggled, looking for an escape route but your moment was short lived as Wanda came closer and her hips pinned you to the island. “Why!”
“I’m in love with you. I thought you should know.” You answered simply, although it was so much more than that. Losing Natasha hadn’t been easy for either of you, leaving the Avengers was almost harder, because it was the last piece of Nat you had left, but you knew that she would’ve wanted this for you. She would’ve wanted you to be happy, to have a family, to find everything she wasn’t able to find because of her past. The life you lived now, as much as it was for yourself and for Wanda, it was for her and all that she had given to you.
“We’re married!” Wanda beamed, “I already knew you loved me!”
You giggled, leaning up to kiss her sweet scarlet lips, but a baby hand kept you from kissing her. “Do you want a kiss, Tommy? Do you want some love?” You giggled, showing his tiny palm in kisses before moving on to do the same thing to Billy, wondering how you had come so far from battlefields in only a decade.

Multiverse of madness
Peggy: *waking up* what?
You: oh, hey. Welcome back
Peggy: *looks around, sees the other members of the illuminati unconscious but intact. And alive. She puts her hands on her stomach, where she clearly felt the shield cutting her in half* How? who are you?
you: Wanda's girlfriend. Not that she knows yet *pouts*
Peggy just looks at you confused
you: I just go around undoing the things she does. She kills people, I bring people back. *you lean closer to her whispering in her ear* so she doesn't feel so guilty later. Not that she knows…yet.
Peggy: why not just stop her?
you: Stop? Wanda? Oh no, darling, it's impossible. Nobody stops Wanda, she needs to figure things out for herself. *you laugh* Stop her, funny. Anyway, nice to meet you. I really appreciate you more than Steve. I'm going now, they'll be fine *you wave to the other members as you leaves*
Carter just watches you walk away processing things. You understand. Coming back from the dead has this effect

The Quinjet jumped lightly, the wind pressing forth as the team approached the Avenger’s compound after a hard mission.
No one was speaking.
Clint was trying to get past the rain and the clouds, Steve and Bucky were just deep in thought while Natasha sat with her jaw clenched and her eyes burning holes into Y/N skull. Things had not been easier in the last couple of months, but what they just did had been the breaking point for Y/N who after more than two years of being part of the team and building a relationship with every single one of them was back to the beginning.
“We’re here.” Clint announced putting the headset on to announce their arrival.
Natasha stood up making her way to where Y/N was sitting, her eyes fixed on some point on the floor. Y/N tensed with her lower lip trembling lightly, she flinched when the hand of Natasha tried to reach out to her.
There was nothing the spy could do; she took her hand away looking away and hating the burning in her eyes.
“When you’re ready, you know where to find me.” Natasha whispered; Y/N stood up making her way to the exit not even waiting for the gate to be completely open.
______________________________________________________________
Wanda Maximoff fixed her jacket around her body, her heart fluttered excitedly as she caught sight of her girlfriend. Her lips were spreading into a huge smile until she realised something was wrong with Y/N; Wanda stopped with eyes big when she realised there was blood on her.
“Y/N…” Wanda was about to go to Y/N, she was about to attend to her wounds until their eyes met.
Y/N clenched her fist and, without a warning, sprinted right past her moving as fast as she could away from everyone. Wanda was left there, her eyes still fixed on the spot where Y/N had been moments ago. The young witch furrowed her brows when she saw the others coming down from the Quinjet, they looked tired and concerned.
“Natasha…” Wanda went to the woman, the redhead glanced at Clint who merely shrugged and walked past them, his hand squeezing Wanda tenderly on her shoulder.
“What happened?” Wanda asked but Natasha looked away crossing her arms.
“It was a trap.” Natasha said. “I don’t know what happened.”
Wanda stepped back, anger building up as she shot an angered stare to the woman standing before her.
“What do you mean you don’t know? Y/N had blood on her!” Wanda exclaimed putting herself right in front of the other woman, Wanda was tempted to flinch when the enraged eyes of Natasha fell on her.
“I don’t know! If I did, she wouldn’t be like this. So no, Wanda, I don’t know and she…” Natasha clenched her jaw, but Wanda could see the trembling on her muscles. The unshed tears in her green eyes.
“I’m sorry I just…” Wanda lowered her face embarrassed, if there was someone else in the whole world that would give everything for Y/N that was Natasha. The Black Widow was like a mother to her, and she must be feeling terrible at the moment.
Natasha sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, after a moment of silence she placed a hand on Wanda’s shoulder.
“She is…she hasn’t said anything yet, I’m not sure if she is ready to talk to you but, you can try.”
Wanda pressed her lips together, turning back to the compound, she nodded in understanding. More than two years had passed ever since they met on the hill facing the Avenger’s compound; Wanda had built a relationship with Y/N that she could only define as unique. It took her some time, and understanding, to get along with Y/N. The young woman was smart, but she had not been kidding when she said she did not know how to interact with others. At times Wanda felt overwhelmed by all of it, some others…when she woke up with Y/N around her, or when she would talk to her for hours, or when she would not talk at all…
Wanda sighed; she was far too in love with Y/N to just back down now.
“I will…I will try.” Wanda finally said, offering a shaky smile to the other woman, Natasha nodded before leaving.
Wanda glanced at her home, then at the Quinjet.
The fact you had run without even saying ‘hi’ was everything Wanda needed to know for what she would face the moment she reached their room. So without wasting more time she went to join her girlfriend.
 _____________________________________________________________
As soon as she got there Wanda noticed Y/N wasn’t in the main room.
Everything was as Wanda had left it early in the morning, the sound of running water told Wanda Y/N was taking a bath. She remembered the blood on Y/N’s clothes, the look on her face, the trembling in her body; Wanda had a sudden urge to go all the way to Y/N and be the comfort she knew Y/N needed. But Wanda held back. That was not the way to approach this, to approach you.
The room had a dim light of yellow, everything was neatly organised with pictures of them all around it. Wanda remembered the day they had started sharing a room, the moment this space became their sanctuary whenever they needed each other.
Wanda cared not for real romance, sure she loved the movies and the shows, but she was also realistic. Love was all about working together with your partner. It wasn’t all rainbows and unicorns. But after that first night, and watching the look on Y/N eyes, her smile the way she worshipped Wanda well…Y/N was romance itself.
And the space they had been sharing was always the ray of sunshine in both their lives.
The young witch wrapped her arms around herself before she set off to get Y/N´s clothes and the bed. She knew that whatever mood her girlfriend was in, she would need to be patient and understanding. The TV was on, and she decided on some of your favourite movies before setting the pillows and the book you had left unfinished right before going to the missions.
It took her almost twenty minutes to get everything ready. A cup of coffee and your favourite crackers, a couple of aspirin and then…she noticed it.
It had been twenty minutes since she first entered the room and the water on the shower was still running.
The young woman furrowed her brows, chewing on her lower lip. Wanda decided it was time for her to go and see what was happening; she pushed the door open slowly, her eyes got used to the steam coming in from the warm shower. The place was moist, and there was no sound coming but that of the water, then her green eyes settled on you and the sight broke her heart.
Y/N was naked standing under the shower, her back was red while she held herself up by also pressing her hands on the wall. Her back was to the door so either she didn’t notice Wanda coming in, or she was just ignoring her. There were flares of black around her fingers, and the shadows at her feet formed a circular form and Wanda knew Y/N was holding herself back keeping her powers at bay so the hot water could burn her back.
In less than a second Wanda was by her side, Y/N jumped startle her eyes going big as Wanda hissed when her hand came in contact with the water. There was pain on Y/N’s face, her eyes red and filled with tears while the shadows on her hand turned off the shower tab. Wand winced but never stopped her soft hold on Y/N.
Their eyes met.
Y/N turned away sharply, her body trembling and her breathing increasing. Wanda placed a tender hand on Y/N’s cheek, she cupped her face tenderly making her look into Wanda’s green eyes. There were tears falling down her eyes, her eyes red and full of pain and fear, something that changed into concern and guilt when they fell upon Wanda. The young witch helped Y/N out of the shower trying to not touch the burn skin of Y/N back, she was biting her tongue so as to not say something that might worsen the situation.
“Whatever it takes.” Was all Wanda whispered, her hands making sure to grab Y/N’s ones. She squeezed tenderly pulling Y/N towards her, slowly and invitingly.
Wanda felt her heart breaking even more, noticing just how easy it was for her to lead Y/N on. As if she was just tired of fighting.
Y/N stood in front of the mirror, Wanda standing behind her for a moment. Their eyes meeting in a shy, concerned glance before the brunette went on to get the first aid kit
There was no sound but that of Wanda looking through the drawer. Y/N tried to hold back her traitorous thoughts, finding comfort in the woman moving around her. Their eyes met through the mirror, Wanda offered a shy smile, her hand holding a tube with some kind of ointment Y/N didn't recognize.
Both of you were around the same height, so it was no trouble for Wanda to stand behind Y/N. The shadows flickered around them; Wanda saw as Y/N flinched trying to hold back her power when Wanda's hand placed tenderly on the scorched skin.
Wanda wanted to say something, she had the words on her tongue but held back relaxing her features as she got the ointment on her hand and went in to apply it on Y/N back. For a brief moment Wanda hesitated, her eyes falling in the bullet wound she got two years ago.
Y/N took a deep breath, lowering her face while clenching her hands the memories coming in like a storm. She was trembling clenching her eyes closed, a whimper escaped her lips. Wanda hesitated but Y/N gave a reassuring nod of her head, the young witch pressed her lips together and proceeded to spread the ointment on the naked back of her girlfriend.
Y/N glanced at her reflection, her eyes dancing around her body pursuing her lips. New tears welled up in her eyes, her jaw trembling while her whole body tensed as she tried to hold back her emotions. Her body trembled; her breathing caught in her throat just as she dropped her head, almost losing herself to an invisible weight on her back.
Wanda let her hand drop to her side, she waited until Y/N pressed to her wrapping her arms around Wanda seeking out comfort. Wanda wrapped her hands around Y/N hips so as to not to hurt her, her naked body pressing in desperation against Wanda’s, and all the brunette could thing was that she wished she could take away the pain from her girlfriend.
There was nothing sexual in their embrace, the nakedness coming from Y/N was nothing to the sheer emotions she was experiencing at the moment. Thus, Wanda held her and wait, making sure that her gesture could show Y/N all the love Wanda felt for her.
______________________________________________________________
Y/N sat Indian style on the bed, her back uncovered letting the ointment work on her skin. Her eyes glued to the TV, though her mind was running around the thoughts and memories that had haunted her ever since she returned from her mission.
The pain, the physical one, was already gone. The one in her soul, in her heart, was still there. Y/N knew Wanda was worried, the other woman had been just as silent as her. Moving around to make sure Y/N had everything she needed.
Sometimes, Y/N was just afraid of telling Wanda the only thing she needed… was Wanda herself. Nothing else.
Her company was like the ray of sunshine sneaking into the darkness of a heavy storm. Wanda was all she needed to find comfort when nothing made sense.
Y/N didn't know she would meet someone like Wanda. She never thought she would find someone that would never demand of her to speak up when she couldn't. Or someone that even in her frustration, in her anger was just… patient.
The memory of the many fights between them only brought a tender smile to Y/N's face. Wanda would speak her mind out, going as far as screaming in frustration before leaving, and while sometimes the fights were ugly…
Y/N turned to Wanda who had her eyes on the screen. Those green irises turned to her; love was gleaming in them.
…Even when the fights were ugly, they were still there. Healing one another, understanding one another while forgiving the wrong doings. Never once diminishing what the other felt.
"Do I have crumbs on my face?" Wanda asked teasingly, Y/N broke into a content smile shaking her head.
Wanda furrowed her brows in confusion until Y/N came crawling to her. Her eyes gleamed with something Wanda could recognize whenever they looked at one another. Love. Adoration. Comfort.
Y/N hissed while resting her head on Wanda's lap trying to not hurt her back.
A flash of concern went through Wanda’s eyes, for a brief moment she saw the self-inflicted wounds on Y/N’s back. The fact she preferred to hurt herself to quiet down the demons in her mind, made Wanda worry greatly. The young woman didn’t need read minds to know, or at least guest, what had happened on that mission; and the only thing she wanted was to make sure Y/N knew she was not alone, that she didn’t need to feel pain to stop the demons in her mind.
Wanda was right there to help her out.
The sound of the television filled the room, the light coming from the screen danced around the darkened room. Wanda let her fingers brushed the light locks of Y/N’s hair, her fingertips caressing the naked skin of her shoulder and arm trying to be reassuring and soothing. It was moments like this one what let Wanda know she had made the right decision to go to that hill two years ago. To stop being reluctant with what Y/N made her feel.
Y/N chuckled her eyes gleaming happily as they focused on the screen, Wanda matched her smile observing her girlfriend and ignoring the absurdity that was Doctor Who. Another soft giggled, a huff of indignation and then a pout; YN could be as childish as she could be as serious and deathly depending on the situation. Wanda knew no many, if any, could see this side of her and Wanda loved Y/N even more whenever she opened up in such a way to Wanda.
Y/N let out a gasp, her hand seeking out that of Wanda until the other woman flickered her green eyes to the screen. There it was the redhead she didn’t like because whenever she was on screen Y/N would be swooned over her; Wanda was torn between her amusement and her annoyance when Y/N sat up pressing her lips together.
“God, I hate her.” Wanda mumbled crossing her arms, Y/N turned sharply towards her and she could see the pout on her girlfriend’s face and those green eyes gleaming in annoyance. “Really, she is not that good looking.”
Y/N offered an incredulous glance at Wanda shaking her head, then her eyes went back to the screen.
“No, really she is not that good looking.” Wanda saw as Y/N snorted but continued watching the show, that was until Wanda decided to keep teasing. “Now, the blond one…I wouldn’t mind her to flirt with me like that…”
Y/N narrowed her eyes at Wanda, the young witch offered a defiant smirk that Y/N didn’t appreciate. For a moment, Wanda thought her plan would not work, but then Y/N came to her nuzzling her face against Wanda’s, biting her lower lip Y/N settled herself on Wanda’s lap finding comfort in the arms wrapping reassuringly around her. The pain on her back almost non-existent now.
Wanda chuckled leaning back against the pillows on her back, careful to as not to hurt her girlfriend. The brunette couldn’t help the smirk on her face, the jealousy card never failed, and the fact Y/N had come to her like this told Wanda Y/N was starting to feel better.
They had started the game along time ago, it was a silent agreement in which playful jealousy would come into play until one of the two would give in seeking the arms of the other.
Wanda sighed contentedly her hand brushing the soft locks of Y/N hair, the warm of her body against hers. The need to just be held, something Y/N had been trying to get for more than two hours but was unable to ask for.
“You know you can always come to me, don’t you?” Wanda whispered in Y/N’s ear; the young woman tensed pressing her face against the crook of Wanda’s neck.
Y/N had never regretted her decision to love Wanda Maximoff.
She was like no other person Y/N had found in her young life. She was funny and loving, she was bratty and demanding, Wanda could be submissive or headstrong and take whatever it was she wanted. And most importantly, she was always there for Y/N. Whether it was good or bad, Y/N could always be counted on Wanda to just be there, to wait until she felt ready to speak.
Y/N loved Wanda for being her.
For loving Y/N.
Y/N leaned back so she could stare into Wanda’s eyes, the young witch waited patiently. Y/N sighed lowering her gaze, then she leaned in brushing her lips against those of Wanda. It was a tender moment, a simple kiss that meant more than any words or thoughts they could share at the moment.
Wanda sighed pressing her forehead against Y/N’s one, “whenever you’re ready, detka, how about in the meantime we go and stole Pietro’s ice cream bucket?”
Y/N beamed at the proposal, Wanda chuckled stealing another kiss, “then let’s go, I bet everyone is fast asleep and we have the kitchen for ourselves.”
Not sooner had Wanda said this, Y/N was already putting something light and comfortable getting ready to go for ice cream. Wanda made it to the door but was stopped dead on her tracks by Y/N hands on hers, the both of them glanced into one another’s eyes.
Y/N lips trembled, then she leaned in placing a kiss on the corner of Wanda’s mouth.
“I love you.” Y/N all but whispered, Wanda grabbed her hand squeezing lightly.
“I love you too, detka. There will be time, we don’t have to talk yet,” Wanda reassured Y/N. “Now, let’s go for that ice cream.”
Y/N would never regret the day she fell in love with Wanda.
The day she gave her heart to the young witch.
Now, and forever.

Natasha and Wanda getting Jaws stickers to decorate their water bottles special. Knowing if they do something just for them Jaws won’t repeat the biting incident. Especially if there are Black Widow and Scarlett Witch stickers involved.
After that incident for sure, I see you and I raise you this scenario instead:
Jaws doesn't put the stickers on themselves because "why am I putting stickers on a water bottle?", so when Natasha and Wanda get them their water bottles, they stick the stickers on themselves as a "These stickers reminded me of you baby," or "I picked them out for you to have, gup" when in reality they know Jaws wouldn't destroy something Nat or Wanda did for them.
cunning, but effective *taps left temple*

Kate And Natasha play Heads Up.
*Kate, Yelena, Natasha, and Wanda having a double date night playing a game to kill time until their dinner reservation*
Kate: Can I be spread or squirted?
Natasha: You have to pick one or the other.
Kate: Can I be squirted?
Natasha: Yes.
Kate: Am I a waffle?!
Natasha: No, you don't squirt waffles.
Wanda: Ladies, we're already late for our dinner reservations...
*Kate and Natasha look up seeing that Wanda and Yelena are no longer sitting at the table*
Kate: Hey, you took your card off your forehead before you guessed what you were.
Natasha: That's against the rules.
*Wanda mutters*: I can read minds.
*Natasha to Kate*: Am I a gas?
Kate: No, you're big! Gasses aren't big.
*Yelena frustrated and hungry*: You guys wanna make out with us??
*Wanda nods in agreement with enthusiasm*
Natasha: A gas can occupy a big space.
Kate: Yeah, but the gas itself isn't big. My turn. Am I a fruit?
*Wanda and Yelena share a look that means neither of their dumb competitive girlfriends will return until they have this silly game settled and then leave the room together*
Natasha: On what planet are there squirt-able fruits?
Kate: ...A planet I wanna live on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*Bonus*
*Several hours later*
*Natasha tiredly*: Am I a balloon?
*Kate dejectedly*: No. Am I a tissue?
Natasha: No. Am I dirt?
Kate: No.
Natasha: Will you kill me?!
Kate: No.
*After a mission, Carol, Monica, and Kamala return late to the Avengers Tower common room. They find Natasha and Kate still playing the game*
Kate: Am I a finger puppet?
Natasha: No.
Kate: Am I a thermometer?
Natasha: No. Am I the French Revolution?
Kate: I don't even know what that is.
Carol: What are you guys doing?
Kate: We've been playing this game for 5 hours! We can't stop until one of us wins!
*Monica and Carol share a look and smirk at each other. Monica pointing at Kate*: You're "cheese".
*Carol pointing at Natasha*: You're "big toe".
*Kate and Natasha both yell in frustration, grab new cards, and start to question each other as The Marvels walk away laughing*
thinking about soft!girlfriend!wanda being all cute and protective of you when she can tell that you’re stressed out and exhausted. sinking into your lap while you’re working on your laptop at your desk, whispering about a nice warm bath in your ear until you finally cave, washing your hair for you and just being the absolute sweetest, letting you steal borrow her softest hoodie before you sink into bed and she tells you all about her day until you fall asleep, and in the morning you wake up to her kissing your face and saying she’s made your favorite breakfast because she knows you’ve been forgetting to take care of yourself !
