How To Clean A Clogged Pipe, Bowl, or Slider In 20 mins

Here's something random.

I'm an avid weed smoker, but my man is much more than I am. He has a horrible habit of using our glass pieces without screens, so the resin ultimately clogs them to the point of not being usable anymore. I'm always the one that packs the next bowl and finds out. 😑

If you're like me, you have purchased cleaners and tried every trick / chemical combo you could find. You have let your pieces sit over night in whatever solution, shaken them, boiled them etc.

Sometimes, if they aren't THAT bad, a piece of wire, a toothpick, or something else pointy and thin that could be used to pick the clog can suffice in a pinch. But we're beyond that point.

But sometimes you just don't want to do all that, especially if it's the only apparatus you have that is viable and you're trying to feel good man.

So here I introduce to you the quick, nearly painless, and cheap way of unclogging your glass piece in just a few minutes using cooking oil (or oil of any kind), a plastic bag, and a dish of water.

Microwave makes it easier, but you can heat water however you please.

So to break it down, you need:

Your clogged piece. If you are trying to unclog a metal pipe, you can do the same method but you will want to heat your water before putting the piece in for safety.

A microwave safe container or bowl (or saucepan for stove top)

A plastic baggy (we all know you have them)

Some oil. It doesn't really matter what kind. I use mineral or grape seed oil because I use those as carriers for homemade oil blends. Regular cooking oil is just fine.

Water

(Optional) A poker. (Metal wire, toothpick, etc)

Then Do It

You're going to want to fill the bottom of your baggy with oil just enough to cover the bowl and the mouthpiece. If you have a poker, I like to gently poke the holes *teehee* to clear the way for the oil.

Seal your baggy and set it aside.

Fill your bowl/ dish 1/4 of the way with water (or pan)

If the piece is glass, acrylic, or silicone, you can submerge the piece in the baggie in the water and place it all in the microwave or saucepan on your stove top to heat. Otherwise, you can heat the water container FIRST and then place the baggy with your piece in the water. You don't need boiling water, but the hotter the better to loosen resin, but be conscious of what material your piece is made of or you can break it. (And metal doesn't belong in the microwave)

Let the piece sit in the oil floating in the water for a few minutes.

Once cool, shake it to loosen up resin and gunk.

If you want, let it sit / heat some more.

Remove the piece from the water. Place in sink. Rinse. The gunk will stick inside the oil and separate from the water for easy trashing. Rinse and wash your pieces, preferably with something like Dawn.

Use poker to clear any leftover solid resin & junk

Rinse once more and dry. Your piece should be ready to smoke.

Le poker.

If you're like me and can't roll to save your life, it is imperative that your pieces remain functional and available for your me time.

If you're also like me, you would be leaving that thing in alcohol over night.

Take it from someone who works with epoxy for years, nothing cleans resin of any kind from anything like pure heat.

The oil just helps the resin and plant matter release from the surface of the piece and schloops out faster than your morning poop.

CANNA GET A KISS? 💋

💞💚Weed lipbalm recipe + glamour magic intent 💚💞

warning: this balm contains active thc. please be over 21 before ANY ritual or consumption.

🍃INGREDIENTS🍃

1/6-1/4 cup decarboxolated weed (I'll explain this step later)

1/2 c coconut oil

1/4 c water

1/8 c of a lighter oil, such as apricot (personally used grapeseed)

1/4 beeswax pellets, preferably organic

1/2 c flavouring herbs, such as rose, sage, lavendar, mint, vannila, cinnamon, jasmine, whatever you desire!

1 tsp sugar

💄SPECIAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED 💄

Cheesecloth

Double Boiler

Small tins with lids or small squat glass jars with lids, or if you can, chapstick tubes

A metal or other heat resistant funnel

♨️ON DECARBOXOLATION♨️

To properly activate the weed, it needs to be heated to the temperature of about 200°- 250° Fahrenheit, in celcius around 170°-220° if my math isnt off.

Heat the weed for about 30-45 minutes to activate, until the weed goes from a grassy colour to more of a hay colours. this process is known as decarboxolation.

💋LETS GET COOKING!💋

Place water in the lower chamber of your double boiler and bring to heat.

Wrap all herbs, including your grass, in cheese cloth.

Once the boiler is hot, add the water, oils, beeswax, sugar and herbs.

Let simmer for aprox. 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

When its time, take off the heat. press ALL oil and wax out of your herbs, i did this using a small strainer and a spoon.

Place the funnel over the container you're using for your balm, and pour the contents in!

let set for at least 2 hours in a cool, dark location.

🔮Lets get witchy with it!🔮

Use in your glamour spells for a little extra umph.

Set daily intent when putting it on (example: i am alluring, empowered and healing.)

Use it in love spells with consent from your lover!!
