How about a Valentine's day story in a Blue Lock x Japan U20 match with manager y/n? Like while in the match and the breaks y/n gets lots of chocholate, flowers or gifts from the male fans which causes the players to be jealous and also some of the fans go even far as kissing y/n hand like a gentleman. The players had no idea that y/n made chocholate for both of the teams. She is kinda shy and scared to give them because she thought the boys wouldn't like the taste of the chocholate, the shapes of the chocholates or the color of the packets.
🩷🌱: Happy Valentine's Day, anon! This was such a cute idea, I hope you like what I wrote! Thanks for the request!
Warnings: Reader uses she/her. Requests are open
⚽️Blue Lock belongs to Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura⚽️
"Oh, damn. There are a lot of people here today!" (Y/n) gasped in surprise as she looked at the stadium that was more packed than on the previous match. Today, the JFA had organized a special match between the U-20 and Blue lock. It was nothing serious, and more meant as an entertainment program for Valentine's Day. The board members of the JFA thought it would be a good idea to organize the event as a cash grab for the holiday, which (Y/n) had to admit was a good idea. The ratings and money from the merch shops will definitely give them extra money.
'Greedy bastards.' She thought while side-eyeing the board members while she stood next to Anri and Ego.
"(Y/n), what's with that bag you brought?" Ego questioned as the boys were warming up. (Y/n), confused for a moment, looked at the item and then blushed in embarrassment while scrambling for words.
"I... I made some chocolate for the players of both teams." She whispered to the adults, which caused Anri to squeal at the cuteness.
"That's adorable! When are you giving it to them, though?" She raised an eyebrow.
"I... I don't know. I am a little embarrassed about the possible attention I might get from them... If only I could somehow avoid it." Anri and Ego kept quiet for a moment as they thought of a way to help her. Well, it was more Anri who did the thinking while Ego was busy monitoring the interaction between Rin, Sae, and Shidou.
"Ah! I know what we can do!"
"You do?" (Y/n) raised an eyebrow as Anri happily nodded her head.
"How about you anonymously leave the chocolate in their locker rooms while they are on the field. We should go there once the game starts." Anri suggested, which made (Y/n) smile at the idea.
"Sounds great! Is that ok with you, Ego-san?"
The said man thought the whole idea was stupid, and he wanted to say so, but once he saw the two give him puppy eyes, he sighed and nodded his head.
"Fine. I will just inform the other coach that you will be going into their locker room. Don't be gone for too long." The man said as the two cheered and thanked him.
"Keep it down-"
"Uhm, is someone named (L/N) (Y/n) here?" One of the maintenence staff members asked as he approached the trio.
"Why?" Ego asked bluntly, causing (Y/n) and Anri to facepalm.
"There are some fans who want to see her." The man answered as (Y/n) raised an eyebrow.
"I am her. But, what do you mean by fans?" She asked the man, and Anri and Ego looked back with the same amount of curiosity.
After explaining it to them, (Y/n) followed the older man to the field where some people were. To be fair, they weren't om the field, but on the stands close to it.
'Good God...' The girl gulped as she saw some guys and a few girls looking back at her in excitement while holding some gifts, she assumed at least.
"Don't take too long." The man warned as (Y/n) nodded her head.
"H-hi. How can I help?" (Y/n) wondered as the group smiled, holding out some gifts to her.
"Hello! I brought you these flowers-"
"Happy Valentine's Day! Please be my-"
"You look very cute today! Hope you like this chocolate! It's handmade-"
"I found these flowers! Heard you liked them-"
"Take mine instead!"
"My chocolate is way better!"
"I got you this plush toy!"
(Y/n) watched in shock and confusion as the group showed the various gifts that were meant for her by the sounds of it.
'Why... why are they giving those to me? I am not a player.' (Y/n) thought as she slowly approached the group, not wanting to be rude or anything.
"Th-thank you. You all shouldn't have brought me anything. I am really honored." The group stopped arguing as they watched the manager bow and smile at them.
'So respectful!'
'She looks so cute!' The group thought as they started arguing who will be the first one to give her a gift.
'Ahh... I hope nobody sees this mess. I don't want the attention to be diverted from the players. It's their day.' (Y/n) thought as she went to take the items, thanking everyone individually.
Meanwhile, what (Y/n) didn't notice was the players had already noticed the ruckus that was going on, and they were less than pleased.
"Who are those losers now?" Sae raised an eyebrow, not liking what he wa seeing. The same could go for Rin, who was silently growling as he saw (Y/n) accept those gifts, even going as far as smiling at the people.
'That's my manager. Don't get so comfortable with her.' He thought as Shidou was for once not sporting his usual cocky smile.
'Now, why is she paying attention to those nobodies?'
Aiku was about to speak up, but the 4 froze up when they saw one of the guys take (Y/n)'s hand into theirs and planting a kiss on it.
"Ok, that's about it. I have had enough." Aiku cleared his throat as he walked over to where (Y/n) was, the trip following close by as the rest of thebtwo teams glared daggers at the boy.
While that was going on, (Y/n) was getting more and more uncomfortable with the attention and tried to cut this gift giving short.
'Why did they even give these to me?' She still wondered, unaware of the 4 players approaching her.
"T-thank you again for the gifts. But, I really need to go now-"
"Can't you stay a little longer?"
"Yeah, the game didn't start yet."
The group protested as (Y/n) tried to find a way out. The gifts were too much for her to hold for so long.
"I'm-" She started speaking, but got interrupted by the familiar monotone voice Sae had.
"Having fun? Good, fun is over." (Y/n), surprised by his appearance turned around to scold hin for the rude tone.
"Don't be so rude, Sae-" But, she pretty much cut herself off when she saw the murderous looks Rin, Sae, Shidou, and Oliver were giving the group.
'What's up with them?!'
The game had eventually started after a good 30 minutes and Anri meanwhile dragged (Y/n) away to put the chocolates into the locker rooms. The chocolates were pretty simple. Milk chocolate with a few decorations, all wrapped up in colors that reminded her of the boys. It was pretty cliché in her opinion, but she hoped they would like them and not suspect her as the culprit.
'I really tried to make them look as different as possible.' (Y/n) thought as she put the last one into Neru's jacket pocket, blushing at the thought of them discovering her.
'That would be something I could never live down.'
The game had ended with the Blue Lock team winning after the time got extended to a whole 105 minutes, (Y/n), Anri, and Ego could see the team was exhausted, so they told them to take their time in changing and showering. Meanwhile, the trio would take care of the press or the gifts the Blue Lock team was receiving, which was something (Y/n) ended up taking care of.
'All these gifts look so much better than mine...' She thought, trying not to look sad as she wrote down what was for who. She didn't need fans going after her or spreading rumors.
'Well, at least I hope they taste good.' (Y/n) thought nervously as she took another gift, wondering if they found the chocolates by now.
Blue lock room 💙⛓️
"Hm? There is something in our pockets?" Otoya wondered as Anri giggled while closing the door.
"Yep! (Y/n) made some Valentine's chocolate for you guys! Don't say I told you, tho!" With that, the woman left the teens in a shocked state. That soon disappeared as they quickly looked through their pockets, and sure enough, the chocolates were there. All neatly wrapped.
"Woo-hoo! This is like the first time I got one! She even wrapped it in my favorite color!" Bachira cheered as he looked at the yellow wrapped item. Otoya quickly unwrapped his and took a bite.
"It's so good!" He cheered.
'Ahh! I can die now happily! Wait, is this (Y/n)'s way of confessing?!' Otoya thought as Karasu and Kurona took a bite from their's as well.
"It tastes the right amount of sweet. The decorations look adorable as well." Karasu chuckled while blushing.
"Just like her..." Kurona silently said as he continued eating his, trying to savor the taste as long as possible. Isagi, who took the time to read the message she wrote on the chocolate blushed and smiled.
'You did an amazing job!' He read, feeling his heart beat quicken when he saw the heart at the end.
"She is the best. This tastes amazing." He mumbled, earning nods from Niko and Hiori, who were sitting next to him.
"It does! It does! The packaging are adorable, too. She really put a lot of thought into them." Hiori said in adoration.
"You think she will bake for us one day?" Niko wondered with a red face as he read the message over and over.
"I mean, we could always ask her. (Y/n) is nice, I am sure she would." Reo announced, earning nods from the rest.
"I hope it will be a chocolate cake. Didn't have those in a while. She really made my day with this." Gagamaru smiled warmly, not used to getting chocolate on Valentine's Day from anyone. Nagi kept quiet as his face was a uncharacteristic red shade. The whole time he was staring at the wrapping paper while taking small bites of the chocolate.
'I am keeping this one forever.'
Barou was a blushing mess along with Tokimitsu, so they decided not to say anything as they ate their chocolates. Both were flattered and happy over this surprise. It was better than winning the match in their opinion.
"It has a really good taste to it. Not too sweet and not too bitter. She really thought of everything. So cute." Yukimiya smiled brightly, earning a nod from Aryu.
"Well, it is (Y/n) we are talking about. She is amazing and thoughtful." The brown-haired boy added in. Rin was looking for once relaxed and felt happy as he ate his piece, enjoying every moment of it.
'So good. Definitely better than winning against my brother. I love her so much.' Rin thought, his face turning redder. There was a silence in the room for a while, the team busy eating and thanking (Y/n) mentally for the gift. But, that silence was soon cut off by Chigiri.
"Now, we need to think of some good presents for White Day. Some that will make her forget about the gifts those people gave her today."
The rest of the team quickly nodded their heads.
The U-20 room 🇯🇵2️⃣0️⃣
"Huh?" Shidou hummed as he felt an unfamiliar item in his pocket and quickly fished it out, only to freeze up when he saw what it was. It was a neatly wrapped pink present, and by the shape of it, it was definitely chocolate.
"What is it, Shidou?" Teru asked, noticing the boy's frozen state.
"I got chocolate." The boy answered in confusion as he showed Teru the item, causing the rest of the locker room to look at him.
"You?! Why did you get chocolate?" Sendou yelled out, jealous at the blonde, which earned him a grin from Shidou.
"Probably because the ladies like me more."
"Hm? I got some as well." Sae pointed out as he showed the the team his burgundy wrapped item.
"Ha? And you two didn't put it in there yourselves?" Niou asked skeptically.
"Why would I do such a pathetic thing?" Sae questioned.
"You guys mad that you didn't get any?" Shidou snickered, earning glared from Sendou and Niou now.
"Hey! I got some as well! This is rare for me!" Neru said in excitement as he found a beige wrapped item in his pocket. Now this was a surprise for the rest.
"You as well?" Itsuki and Miroku mumbled as they discretely went through their pockets, only to find chocolate int them as well.
"Hey! I got some as well!"
"Me too!"
"This is weird..." Hayate said silently, blushing as he stared at his present as well.
"Woo-hoo! Hey! I got chocolate as well!!" Sendou blushed in excitement as he took put the present from his jacket pocket. Oliver, who also found a green and purple wrapped present, stared at it in confusion as Teru started eating his chocolate.
"It tastes good as well! It also has some cute decorations on it."
"Mhm!" Niou nodded as he ate his along with Hayate and Neru.
"But still, who put it into our pockets?" Sae asked out loud, earning silence instead of an answer.
"It certainly is weird. We didn't notice anyone near our stuff." Miroku chimed in as their coach walked into the room.
"Ah, I see you found those chocolates. Eat up and let's go." The team stared at the man in horror for a moment as Oliver spoke up.
"Please don't tell me you put these into our locker room."
"Yuck!" Shidou shivered at the idea, earning a glare from the coach.
"No, I have better things to do then make Valentine's Day chocolate." The man rolled his eyes.
"Blue Lock's manager made those for you, as surprise or something. She put those here while you guys were playing. Now, stop acting like school boys and pack your stuff." The man ordered as he walked out of the room, leaving the team in a stunned silence.
'The... The manager...made these for us?!' The team thought as they slowly started blushing at the thought.
"Aahhh~" they sighed happily as Sendou spoke up.
"Lucky bastards at Blue Lock probably get this treatment all the time." He said, sounding jealous as the rest tried to ignore that thought, opting to just enjoy the sweet gifts.
"Achoo!" (Y/n) sneezed as Ego looked at her in confusion.
"You ok?"
"Yeah. I think I am just getting sick." She said back, oblivious to what had happened in the locker rooms.

Baking Yesteryear. By B. Dylan Hollis. DK, 2023.
Rating: 4/5 stars
Genre: cookbook
Series: N/A
Summary: A decade-by-decade cookbook that highlights the best (and a few of the worst) baking recipes from the 20th century
Friends of baking, are you sick and tired of making the same recipes again and again? Then look no further than this baking blast from the past, as B. Dylan Hollis highlights the most unique tasty treats of yesteryear.
Travel back in time on a delicious decade-by-decade jaunt as Dylan shows you how to bake vintage forgotten greats. With a big pinch of fun and a full cup of humor, you’ll be baking everything from Chocolate Potato Cake from the 1910s to Avocado Pie from the 1960s.
Dylan has baked hundreds of recipes from countless antique cookbooks and selected only the best for this bakebook, sharing the shining stars from each decade. And because some of the recipes Dylan shares on his wildly popular social media channels are spectacular failures, he’s thrown in a few of the most disastrously strange recipes for you to try if you dare.
***Full review below.***
Since this book is non-fiction, my review will be structured a little different from normal.
I've had this book for a while, but I didn't want to post a review before making a few of the recipes myself. I was already a fan of Hollis from his TikToks, so that might introduce some bias into my review - just so you're all aware.
Overall, I found this book to be quirky, easy to follow, and fun. I loved the bright colors and retro-feel to the photo shoots, and I appreciated that almost all of the recipes were accompanied by a picture of the thing you're supposed to be making. I also liked the blurbs written by Hollis himself; they very much felt like his voice, with his characteristic sense of humor balanced by his genuine love for baking and "old things."
Perhaps the most valuable part of this book, however, was the emphasis on lowering barriers to entry. I've read my fair share of baking guides that call for special ingredients or equipment, and there are a lot of recipes out there that are finicky and sure ton dissuade new bakers. Hollis's book, however, emphasizes that most (if not all) of these recipes can be done with basic tools - one does not even need an electric mixer (though it does make some recipes easier). There also aren't many fancy ingredients that aren't readily available at most grocery stores, so that also helps.
I do, however, have some minor criticisms which relate to the usability of this book. For one, the organization makes it rather difficult to find a specific recipe (or even category), particularly if you're like me and don't recall what decade it came from. While organizing the recipes by decade makes sense given the book's premise, it does make it more functionally difficult - you can't flip to the cake section, for example, and browse or put yourself within the general vicinity of the recipe you're looking for. Thus, readers will have to rely on either the TOC or the index a lot more, but this is a minor inconvenience rather than a huge drawback.
I also don't think the majority of the recipes are blow-your-mind good, but honestly, given this book's premise, I don't think that's the worst thing. The recipes are largely taken from sources aimed at home bakers, so you're not going to get professional-level pastries out of them. You will, however, get things that are fun and relatively simple to make, and they taste good enough to me that I'd consider making them multiple times.
TL;DR: Baking Yesteryear is a fine book for fans of Hollis's TikTok, but it goes beyond being mere merch. It not only provides historical recipes that are easy to replicate, but it also does a good job of lowering barriers to entry for new bakers. Experienced bakers might not be overly impressed by the recipes, but engaging with food history is a treat in and of itself, and it's delightful to see someone like Hollis engaging with the past with such enthusiasm and adoration.

Recently, some official South Park merch was released in claw machines across Japan! Since one of the designated machine locations was relatively near where I live, I made a weekend trip of it and thought it would be fun to share a bit of it with y’all 🥰 This will mostly focus on the info about the plushies but also touch a bit on the place I went to to get them. Read on if you’re interested!
Thanks to a tip from my good pal @allymumu, I learned about two different South Park claw machine merch drops happening in March. First were these plastic cases:
Tumblr media
As well as these plushie keychains:
Tumblr media
None of the machines carrying the plastic cases were anywhere near me, however one machine with the plushie keychains was! So I decided to head over to AruAru City (a 6 floor mall devoted entirely to anime/manga/games that houses the Kitakyushu Manga Museum) in Kokura to try my hand at winning these guys.
Once there, the claw machine was actually incredibly difficult to locate. I searched around for a while along with my friend who joined me on this trip. Eventually, we had to ask an employee where the machine was.
Tumblr media
As you can see, it definitely needed to be pointed out!
Claw machines in Japan aren’t usually stuffed with prizes so when we got to it, there were only 3 of the 4 plushies available to win at a time, with employees restocking whenever the machine ran out.
Tumblr media
This was actually perfectly fine for me because I hadn’t been planning on trying to win Towelie. Sorry to all the Towelie stans out there but I don’t care that much for him 😅 Crane games are just as much about luck as they are skill so I didn’t want to waste any more money than necessary. Plus, the claw machine was small and close to the ground, so it was kind of uncomfortable crouching down and playing at it for an extended period of time.
Surprisingly, getting Kenny and Stan was relatively easy! Probably 5-6 tries each.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which, at ¥100 (~$0.66 USD) a try, is a reasonable amount to spend.
Butters, however… well, he lived up to his name and kept slipping out of the claw every time I got a grip on him. I’d prefer not to specify exactly how much I spent trying to get him but let’s just say it was a lot 😭 My friend was able to win him for herself though so I do have a picture of all the boys!
Tumblr media
They’re very soft and well made, perfectly palm sized 🥰 The elastic feels a little short sometimes if you plan on looping the entire plush through it to attach it to something (I did this with my belt loop to carry them around with me) but with some squishing they get through just fine.
Since going on a trip just to win some plushies seems a bit crazy, my friend and I visited some other cool places in Kokura the next day! Of course, the plushies came with us. ケニーちゃんはかわいいプリンセスだから, I of course brought him to Kokura Castle.
Tumblr media
Then basically right down the street is the TOTO Museum, a museum dedicated to the company TOTO. However, since TOTO specializes in toilets, this place is more colloquially known as the Toilet Museum. Considering Stan’s last season trauma surrounding Japanese toilets, I thought it would help give him closure or something to learn their history.
Tumblr media
All in all, a very fun and rewarding trip! I really hope there’s more claw machine merch drops relatively soon. If there are and I can go, I promise to share the info with y’all just like this! Hope you enjoyed 💕

(it is super late, sorry for no proof read. also not a request, this was an oc work that was changed to be able to be read as x reader. Singular use of Y/N bc it might be confusing otherwise. Also CW for alcoholism? only mentioned)
Questioning Monty never worked.
No matter how hard she tried or what mood he was in. Being all nice and sweet didn’t work, neither did being distant or aggressive. Not once did she ever get any information about Bonnie, any confirmation about his death or if he was still alive, somewhere. Nothing. Threatening to deactivate him didn’t work, so what else could she do. She gave up.
“Whatever,” she told herself, “it will resolve itself if I’m patient enough”. But she hated these thoughts the longer they stayed in her head. Hated herself because the thought of betraying Bonnie was always present. It kept her awake at night, worried Chica, who was concerned about her dear friend. So much so that she would sneak into her room at night, making sure that she was fine.
These thoughts intensified when she became Monty’s Handler, which is really just a fancy word for “make sure he doesn’t kill someone”. And oh, did she make sure of that. Besides a few staff bots, there were no ”accidents”. Well, not counting the time he tried to bite off Vanessa’s head, ending with her own arm in his maw thanks to her brilliant idea of “he can’t kill her if I put my arm between them”. Or the countless times of him falling off the catwalks of Gator Golf.
Her relationship with Monty was build on pissing each other off. He’d be a menace, making a mess for her to clean up. She’d tease him about the smallest stuff. Messed up at golf? Scared some kid? She would know and tease him about it. But they always kept it playful. She never found herself in a situation where she was actually afraid of him.
————————————-
Most of her time was spend after hours in the empty Bowling Alley. People would rarely come here anymore, it getting more empty day by day. She knew they, Faz Ent., wanted to rebrand it, a thought she couldn’t handle. They already got rid of it all. His posters, his cutouts, his merch. It was all gone. Even the damn candy and soda was discontinued. Everything was ripped from her and fuck, it hurt. It reopened old wounds that she thought were long sealed, brought back old habits that she tried so hard to unlearn. She begged them to at least leave the Alley be, let it be a silly attraction like Foxy’s Pirate Cove. And while they let it be for the time being, she knew she was only stalling for time and sooner or later this place would be taken from her too. It all would be taken. That’s how it always is, was, will be.
This place was her home, she felt safe. The damn Pizzaplex, a place that scared many people thanks to the company’s past, was her home. The animatronics were her family. For once, since a long time, she felt safe. But it was falling apart right beneath her fingers. The sinkhole in Roxy’s Raceway started it. Or was it firing almost all human staff? Or perhaps the Virus that spread a while ago and almost ruined the place? Or maybe it was her. She had a habit of destroying the things she loved. Everything she touched died, or so it seemed.
All she had left was getting drunk at the Alley, listening to Bonnie’s stupid favorite Jazz music on that damn Jukebox. Often Chica would be there with her. They usually did everything together. She’d even sneak her a pizza from time to time, even if it meant having to hose her down for yet another time that day, due to her being a very messy eater. It happened so often that they just put a trash bag into her stomach area, for easy cleaning.
Apart from that small problem, Chica was very girly. She loved being at the saloon and ,oh man, did she love dates. Freddy was rather unromantic and obvious, so often they needed a little push, which she lovingly provided. She’d often catch glimpses of them on their little dates. It was simple stuff. Playing some golf, watching a movie in the daycare theater, that kinda stuff. It reminded her of the better times. But now she and her would talk about their feelings. But no matter how much she talked about it, screamed it into the world, it just would not get better. Freddy would check on her sometimes, they shared their grief, he lost his best friend after all. He grew protective over her, was careful all the time, walking on eggshells. It aggravated her more than it should, this behavioral change in him made her feel small, useless. He always had a caring and fatherly nature, but this was much, even for him. So, while he was trying to find kind and calming words for her, she was sitting at the bar with a glass in her hand, barely even registering what he was saying. It was the same stuff all the time anyway, “sorry”s and life advice that she had heard all the time else where. Luckily for her, Roxy knew better than to pity her or give her some silly advice and she mostly kept to herself in the Raceway anyway.
If it wasn’t Freddy or Chica bothering her in her quiet time it was Vanessa. She meant well, but damn. Ness had a talent for making jokes at the wrong time and just generally saying the wrong stuff at the wrong time. On good days they’d play a few rounds of bowling and talk about their old home, family and work gossip. It was a nice but more and more rare thing. At some point Ness suddenly started taking her job very serious. A little too serious. And she’d disappear a lot, seemingly dodging the security cams. She’d wouldn’t ask. She did the same back when Bonnie was still here, knew all the blind spots.
God, she should know better than to sneak around. She’s a “talented Tech” after all, blah blah.
————————————
This day she returned from the Bowling Alley, a little more upset that usual. It was nothing more than her thoughts that were troubling her, the usual. Besides that, her watch was dead and needed recharging, which always was a sign that its time to return to her room. Making her way to Rockstar Row to have a last daily check up on the band, she met Monty halfway. He seemed more aggravated than usual, growling and being in a defensive state. This was nothing new for him, he was always acting like this. Nobody knew what exactly it was, maybe his programming. Or maybe it was just the way he was. Though, he was different back then. He used to be chill, almost innocent. But now? No emotions other than anger.
She liked to think deep down he was still the same, she never feared the animatronics, even at Monty’s wildest she stood up to him bravely without a thought but tonight felt different.
They met, looked at each other. Not a word was spoken. It was completely silent, until he suddenly creeped closer. His heavy footsteps felt like hell, a possible death sentence, her sudden end. She often fantasized that she would end up like Bonnie. She didn’t know how he ”died” but she could imagine it if Monty was the one who caused it. Wrecked, torn apart, mangled.  Her mind would imagine how it felt. The feeling of being torn apart while alive. Was it painful or would her body block out the pain due to the trauma? She hoped she’d feel it. She wanted to feel it, to end up like him.
She always knew her eventual death would be caused by Monty, or maybe Freddy, he was scary without the safety protocols. Or god, even by Bonnie himself when he was in one of his moods.. She’d be fine with that, honestly. But now, with a more than pissed Monty in front of her? Yea, probably him.
Monty’s issues being the reasons why, jealousy, envy, the pure rage he felt every time someone even mentioned the bunny. He couldn’t handle Bonnie being more popular than him. Something he wasn’t able to deal with in a healthy way. The jealousy tore him apart. Bonnie was the bassist, part of the main band. Monty was only part of his own one man band in his golf course. It was just him, nobody else. He had nothing to call his own. Maybe the golf course but back then, even that was just a half thing, Freddy would often be there. Even Bonnie would, all while Monty was banned from the Bowling Alley. It wasn’t fair. But what was fair in this place? Humans were replaced by Staff Bots that couldn’t even hold conversation or do the most basic tasks that they were programmed to do.
Or well, this was how things used to be. Back when Bonnie was here. Now Monty took his place. Every banner and poster had his face on it. He completely replaced him. Even on the huge main sign of the Pizzaplex. Perhaps this was the reason for Chica’s unhealthy food addiction. She’d be next to be replaced. And she just witnessed how easily replaceable she and her friends really were.
(Y/N) was there since the beginning, watching them and taking care of all of them. Not judging, only caring. Treating them as equals. It made Monty feel a certain way. He didn’t know these feelings or understood them, but he knew Bonnie felt the same way towards her. Only was she closer to him. Way closer. Yet again, something that he can’t have.
And now they stood there, just staring at each other. Complete silence.
He was furious. He didn’t even know why. The smallest things caused this. Perhaps a string of his bass broke. But it wasn’t really HIS, was it? Or maybe it was him losing his shades again. The shades that didn’t originally belong to him. So, he started smashing stuff in his green room. Bonnie’s former green room. Nothing is truly his, is it? There it was. The reason. The anger.
And now before him stood the fourth “not his”. Something he knew he couldn’t just break and get a replacement for. A human can’t be rebuilt after all. It took everything in him to not lash out on the spot. To dig his claws into her flesh and leave bite marks all over her body. Instead he just stood there, silent. Getting a little closer, just close enough to read her vitals. She was nervous…she was scared. He took notice of her watch, it was empty and turned off. Meaning she couldn’t call for help even if she wanted to. What good would help do anyway? Before anyone could reach them it would be too late. Why was he having these thoughts? All he knew was that he had to remove himself from the situation right now or else bad things would happen.
And so he did. Walking past her. Stopping for a short moment to look at her. He wondered what she felt when she looked at him with these shades, the bass or the stupid room. Would it bring them closer eventually or drift them apart further? Did she see a part of Bonnie in him or an imposter who forcefully took his spot? Maybe she had the mercy to just think of him as the killer of her lover.
Continuing on his way towards Gator Golf, she was left alone. Still, she stood there, her heart eventually calming down but thoughts still racing. She was sure she was one word away from getting torn apart, but god, she wished she spoke it.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It all started with a t-shirt.
Steve was playing his own show the night Robin went to a Corroded Coffin concert with a friend from work. He wasn’t upset or anything, because Robin had been to Steve’s shows countless times in the past. Besides, he didn’t like Corroded Coffin’s music anyway.
Apparently, Robin liked the show enough to go to the merch table, where she bought a Corroded Coffin t-shirt, and the rest is history.
-
“Ridiculous,” Steve muttered to himself. His dryer was busted AGAIN, which meant he had to call the stupid landlord to have it fixed AGAIN.
He’d been so busy with shows that he hadn’t had a lot of time to do laundry, and this was him finally catching up. Of course, the damn thing broke. Now he had no clothes.
He sighed and went to the designated Robin drawer she insisted she have at Steve’s apartment. She was there a lot of nights anyway, so she always kept some pajamas and things just in case. Thank god for Robin’s love of oversized clothing.
He grabbed the first shirt he saw, threw it on, and headed to the grocery store.
Steve wasn’t even conscious of what the shirt said. Maybe he should have glanced in the mirror before he left, but he was tired and just needed to get food for the week. He’d been out of town on tour for a while now, so there was nothing at home.
People were staring at him, but that wasn’t too unusual. His stage name was HARVEST, which was nice because he could separate himself from his music when he wanted to. His persona when he performed was vastly different to the guy wandering a grocery store in his best friend’s clothes, and he liked that. It was freeing. It gave him some semblance of privacy, because most fans of his music didn’t even know his real name.
The more devoted fans, however…
People took his picture sometimes without asking first. That was common. It wasn’t great, but it was common. Steve was never that concerned with looking ugly on the internet, anyway. Although, if people went up to him and asked, he usually said yes if they were nice about it.
It took about three hours for the notifications to pour in. Steve ignored them, at first. His publicist would handle whatever it was. But then, Robin called.
“Steve!” she greeted when he answered. “You wore my shirt out?”
“Uh, yeah?” Steve responded. He looked down to see that it was a band t-shirt. Nothing too crazy about it. “That okay?”
“Yeah, it’s fine,” she assured him. “It’s just funny because somehow now people think you’re Corroded Coffin’s number one fan.”
“That’s…strange,” Steve said, confused. “All because I wore their shirt one time?”
“Yeah, well people looked into it and they found out you and Eddie Munson went to high school together -”
“Ah,” Steve acknowledged, starting to understand.
“- and now people are shipping you with him and all that.”
“Wait, what?” Steve’s face fell. “They’re - Like, that’s insane. It’s only been a few hours and - I mean, I don’t even know the guy.”
“Yeah, but do you remember that TikTok you made last year?” she asked. “The one where you took the metal song and stripped it down, sang it in your style instead?”
“Uh, yeah, I think so.”
Steve did that a few times with a variety of genres. He liked taking music to weird and unexpected places. So, sometimes when there was a viral song or sound, he’d put his own spin on it.
“Okay, well that was a Corroded Coffin song,” Robin explained.
“It…was?” Steve genuinely had no idea. He didn’t look into the artist before he’d made the video.
“Yeah,” she confirmed. “You seriously didn’t know?”
“No,” Steve answered. “So, that combined with the t-shirt and now people think I’m having an affair with this guy or something?” He scoffed. He’d never understand why people were so hellbent on creating stories from nothing.
“It’s just the internet, Steve,” Robin replied. “People say all kinds of things.”
“Yeah, but -” Steve sighed, shutting his eyes tightly. It wasn’t just that he was being shipped with some random guy, it was that Steve wasn’t even out yet. It was kind of a whole thing he and his team had been working on. His new album was supposed to announce it, not some random pairing based on zero evidence.
“Yeah, I know,” Robin said. Steve knew she understood completely, even without him saying anything. She knew his sexuality before he did. “I promise it’s not a huge deal. Sorry the internet sucks.”
“Thanks,” Steve responded. He hung up, groaned, and collapsed onto his couch, where he fell into a deep sleep.
-
“Eddie, we can use this.”
Eddie held back the groan he so desperately wanted to let out. He was on the phone with his manager, Carla, who had just told him that people online were pairing him with some other musician that Eddie had heard on the radio a few times and - yikes. It wasn’t his vibe.
“Use it for…?” he asked, completely nonplussed. He picked up a rubber band ball on his desk and rolled it around in his hands.
“You both have albums coming out soon,” she continued. “So, if you’re dating him then - I mean, think of the publicity.”
“Dating him?” Eddie echoed, confused. “Aren’t we jumping the gun, here? Do we even know if this dude likes other dudes in the first place?”
“No, but you should find out,” Carla insisted. “I mean, it’s HARVEST, Eddie. His music is everywhere right now.”
Eddie knew that much, at least. He didn’t listen to the music when he could help it, but people talked about it all the time. The mysterious HARVEST who wore disguises on stage and left cryptic posts on social media. Eddie couldn’t think of a single person he wanted to date less, and he didn’t even know the guy’s name or what he looked like.
Eddie, on the other hand, had been busting his ass to maintain the little audience he’d accumulated over the last five years. Corroded Coffin started as a high school passion project, then devolved into a more serious band that played sporadic shows in his hometown, and then went through a series of changes and replacements until Eddie was the only original part of it that remained. Well, that and the name, of course.
Eddie Munson. Corroded Coffin. They were pretty much synonymous at this point. The fans he had knew who he was and what he looked like. He rarely used social media, but when he interacted with fans he was blunt and to the point. No games. No mystery. This HARVEST guy kinda seemed like a tool.
“Yeah, I’ll pass,” Eddie said, snapping one of the rubber bands rhythmically.
“Eddie,” Carla prodded. “If you do this, you’ll blow up. Think of what you could do with the money. Merch. A tour. A vacation. A new house. Whatever you wanted, you could get.”
Money sounded nice, but it’s not like Eddie was living in poverty or anything. Well, he was in a tiny apartment in a shitty area of town, but it was Los Angeles. Who could afford anything more than that? Besides, he’d lived in places that small and shitty his whole life. Then again, he’d never had any other choice. Money would give him the choice.
The popularity aspect was also intriguing, because Eddie loved attention almost as much as he loved music. Sure, there were downsides to fame, but he adored the glimpses of it he’d had so far, and it’s not like being around HARVEST was going to turn him into Leo DiCaprio or something.
“Okay, so if I agree to this, what does that mean? Do you want me to DM him or something?”
“Actually,” Carla said. The playfulness in her tone caused Eddie to drop the rubber-band ball, because she only talked like that when she had a creative idea that he tended not to like. “He’s going to be at this launch party tonight that I may or may not have gotten you an invite to…”
Yup. That sounds about right.
“So you want me to crash the party and proposition this guy?” Eddie asked.
“Of course not,” she replied. “You’re invited, so it’s not crashing.”
Eddie had to chuckle at that one. She was a sneaky one, sometimes, and damn good at her job.
“Fine,” Eddie agreed. “Send me the details and I might go.”
“Will do!” Carla responded. He could hear how excited this made her, and he was glad at least one of them was into this whole thing. “You don’t have to do anything too wild, okay? Even if you’re just spotted with him, it will spread the narrative that something is going on. Deal?”
It felt a little gross to go somewhere just to track a random guy down and cling to him for popularity. It was kind of a dick move, really. Then again, Eddie was kind of a dick.
“Deal,” he replied.
-
“This will never not be the coolest thing to ever happen to me,” Robin said, as she always does when Steve takes her as his plus one to events.
“Yeah, well since Nancy dumped my ass, get used to it,” he teased. “You’ll be filling in for a while.” Steve nudged her shoulder, causing her to laugh. She was wearing this beautiful, brand new jumpsuit. It was pressed and ironed and cost almost a full paycheck. Lucky for her, she didn’t have to pay for it. Steve was doing pretty damn well for himself financially.
The Uber driver pulled up to the bar and dropped them off. Since it was the grand opening or something, the place was entirely closed off and only people on a list were allowed in.
“Name?” the security guard said at the door.
“Uh,” Steve stuttered. He never knew which name was on these stupid lists. “Steve Harrington, and my guest.” He gestured to Robin beside him, who blushed.
The security guard nodded, crossed them off, then opened the door for them to go inside.
“Holy shit!” Robin said as they walked in. The place was nice, even by Steve’s standards. They headed to the bar to order their first round of drinks.
Steve went to these kinds of things pretty often - he’d go, have a few drinks, hang out with people, then do it all again a few weeks later. He enjoyed them, for the most part.
Well, except for one thing.
Steve choosing to do music under the stage name HARVEST was great in a lot of ways. It was kind of like the whole Miley Cyrus vs Hannah Montana thing, except Steve wasn’t gonna show up to these parties wearing sunglasses, a wig, and an ugly vest - his signature look when he performed. He showed up as Steve, who was a nobody, and that felt kind of lame. To everyone else at the party, he just looked like a normal guy. Even Robin stood out more than he did.
Steve had this whole thing where HARVEST rarely posted anything or did interviews, and when he did he was in disguise and using a voice changer. It started as a joke and then just…stuck. HARVEST was a completely separate entity from Steve. HARVEST was all the parts of him that made him popular in high school, and Steve was whatever was left underneath.
He and Robin enjoyed the night anyway. They were handing out some sponsored cocktail throughout the night until everyone was good and drunk. Whatever was in that thing was lethal. Steve had only had two and he was feeling pretty tipsy. Robin was already on the dance floor after one. She’d pulled him to the photo area while a slower song played, urging him to get a picture with her and commemorate the night before she got too sweaty from dancing.
They held up their branded glasses and smiled. The light flashed so bright they both winced, then laughed at their dramatic reaction. When they began stumbling away from the camera, Robin paused.
“What?” Steve asked, confused.
“Eddie Munson is here,” she said.
“Where?” Steve asked. She pointed vaguely in Eddie’s direction, trying to act like she was just playing with her hair. Steve searched the room until his eyes locked in on the curly-haired brunette that the world wanted him to be with, apparently. Eddie was at the bar, talking up some of the other guests. “What is he doing here?” Robin shrugged.
Steve had never seen Eddie at one of these parties before. His band wasn’t really that popular. Their only claim to fame so far was a chorus of one of their songs going viral on TikTok. Then, like an idiot, Steve had done a cover of the damn song, and now he was in a whole mess of a situation. Eddie Munson was going to inadvertently reveal Steve’s bisexuality before his album even came out.
It wasn’t Eddie’s fault, and Steve knew that. Fans were going to say what they were gonna say. But still, Eddie being at the party was a crazy coincidence, considering the circumstances.
Steve took a sip from his third cocktail and decided not to think about it.
-
Eddie had never in his life been invited to something like this before. He’d had to talk to a guard and get let in, like some bigshot celebrity. If being around this HARVEST guy gave Eddie more opportunities to go to shit like this, maybe it was worth it.
Once he got inside, he went to the bar to get a drink. They were serving some cocktail that Eddie had no interest in drinking, so he ordered a whiskey on the rocks as he chatted with the people around him. They were all nice, although it was a bit too loud to have any actual conversation. Plus, most of the guests were well on their way to being drunk.
All in all, it was Eddie’s exact kind of chaos.
He scanned the room for a man that matched his only reference point of what HARVEST looked like. Eddie had seen a few pictures of him on stage, and his outfits were always a little out there. He had different hair every time, but his absurd style stayed consistent.
Nobody at this goddamn party looked like that.
“Hey,” Eddie said after nudging the person beside him. “You know where HARVEST is?”
He realized as soon as he asked that he probably could have just Googled him to see what he looked like. Whatever.
“Uhh, you mean Steve?” the woman responded. “He’s here somewhere. His date is in this gorgeous glittery blue jumpsuit. Find her and you’ll find him. He follows her like a shadow.” She finished her description with a light chuckle. Eddie turned back to face the rest of the bar and continued searching the crowd.
Okay, first of all - Steve? The man, the myth, the legend known as HARVEST was actually just…a guy named Steve? Eddie almost burst out laughing.
Secondly, he brought a date. Of course he brought a date. A woman, at that. Eddie wasn’t cool enough to have a plus one, but Steve on the other hand…
Wow. Eddie didn’t think he’d be able to find the glittery jumpsuit as fast as he did, but it really was a dead giveaway. It sparkled under the lights of the bar, and the girl next to Eddie was right - it was gorgeous. Steve’s date was gorgeous overall, actually. No wonder he was following her around.
“Him?” Eddie asked, pointing to the guy dancing with the woman in the jumpsuit.
“Yup,” the guest at the bar confirmed. She took the last sip of her cocktail and set the glass down on the counter. “So, do you wanna dance?”
Eddie froze. He wasn’t a huge fan of dancing in public, and he also wasn’t sure if this dance was just a dance or if it was something else.
“Well, I, uhhhh -” he began. “I mean, I’m like - ya know - gay.” She laughed in response, her face red from the alcohol.
“No shit,” she replied. “You obviously have heart eyes for Steve, and he’s dancing with someone else, so let’s go out there and you can make him jealous and I can dance until someone who likes women steals me away.”
Eddie grinned. This chick was dope. He held out his hand for her to take it, and then he walked her to the dance floor. He figured that he could strike up a conversation, get Steve to take a picture with him at the photo area, and then call it a night.
“What’s your name, by the way?” he yelled over the music.
“Chrissy!” she yelled back.
“Eddie!” he responded. She smiled at him, and he couldn’t help but notice how drop-dead gorgeous she was, too. Everyone at this party was perfect-looking, actually, and it was intimidating and weird. Eddie was grateful he'd decided to wear his nicer clothes.
And then they danced. Eddie did his best to jump to the music and twirl Chrissy around. Over the course of the first song she managed to glide them through the crowd and strategically place them right by Steve.
Chrissy was a total boss.
“STEVE!” she shouted, acting much drunker than she actually was. She threw her arms around Steve, who returned the hug with a warm smile. “How are you?”
Steve said something, but it was so loud on the dance floor that Eddie couldn’t hear it.
“I’M ROBIN,” blue jumpsuit woman said. She looked like she was having the time of her life. “NICE TO MEET YOU!”
“YOU TOO!” Chrissy replied. She turned to Eddie. “THIS IS MY FRIEND EDDIE!”
Oh, shit. Okay then.
Robin and Steve just kinda looked at him and didn’t say anything for a moment. There was no equally loud greeting for Eddie Munson, no sir. He immediately felt judged, and almost bolted right out of there. He didn’t fit in with this crowd at all.
“H-hi, Eddie!” Robin finally said. “I actually know you! I went to your show a few weeks ago!”
“Woah, really?” Eddie responded, shocked. Nobody had recognized him here, yet. Maybe he wasn’t so different from these people after all.
“YOU’RE A MUSICIAN, TOO?” Chrissy asked, amazed. Eddie nodded. Suddenly, the most beautiful man Eddie had ever seen approached Chrissy and asked her to dance. He recognized the guy as this famous actor who’d been in a ton of movies. Score for Chrissy, although she was perfect, too, and barely fazed. Instead, she took the actor’s hand and smiled. “GOTTA GO, SEE YOU GUYS LATER!”
And then, she was off. What a crazy life these people led.
Steve spoke again, but only Robin could hear him properly. She nodded, then gestured for Eddie to follow them to a less loud part of the bar.
“Much better,” Steve said once they could all hear themselves think again. The light in the bar was dim, so it was hard to make out all of Steve’s features, but Eddie could have sworn he looked familiar. “So, you’re the famous Eddie Munson?”
Eddie thought for sure he’d heard Steve wrong. Like, he must have, because no way in hell Eddie could be considered famous among this group of people. Unless Steve was being condescending, in which case…ugh. Sure, whatever.
“I - I mean, yeah,” Eddie replied. He turned back to Robin, who he already liked more than Steve. “So, you’ve seen Corroded Coffin in concert?”
“Yeah!” she said, her face lighting up at the question.
“Why?” Eddie asked before he could stop himself. Robin and Steve laughed. “I just mean, you’re not really my usual demographic -”
“I’m full of surprises, Eddie,” she teased. “Okay, so I only went because my friend had an extra ticket, but still.”
“Ouch,” Eddie responded with a laugh, clutching his heart as if he’d genuinely been distraught.
“What the fuck is in these things?” Steve said, staring intently at the drink in his hand.
“It’s basically a long island iced tea with all their cheapest liquor and a splash of sprite,” Eddie answered plainly.
“How did you know that?” Robin asked, amused.
“I asked,” Eddie replied with a shrug.
“The bartender?” Robin pressed. Eddie nodded.
“Yeah. I have this thing where I never shut up, so I tend to talk to everyone,” Eddie joked. Well, it wasn’t really a joke. “Anyway, how many have you had?” Steve’s brow furrowed as he desperately tried to remember his drink tally.
“One more than he should have had, apparently,” Robin said, taking the glass from Steve and setting it down on a table. “I’ll go get him some water.”
She disappeared with no further warning, leaving Eddie alone with Steve. Am I supposed to babysit this guy until she comes back or something?
“So, you and Robin,” Eddie said, shifting back and forth on his feet. He really could not for the life of him stop talking, especially with whiskey coursing through him. “Are you guys, like -?”
“Just friends,” Steve snapped back. He almost seemed pissed at the question. “She’s been my best friend for, god, I dunno, since college.”
“Cool,” Eddie replied. Steve was clearly very drunk, and Eddie wasn’t sure how much of that was contributing to his standoffishness. “Are you okay, man?”
“Why're you even here, dude?” Steve asked, his words slurred. “What made you come here?”
“Uhhh, I was invited?” Eddie answered. This guy’s a real trip.
“So it wasn’t because strangers online want us to be together, and if that happens you get more fame or whatever?”
Oh, damn. While that's exactly what was happening, Eddie sure as hell wasn't going to admit it. To save face, Eddie did what he did best - he defaulted to assholery.
“Don’t flatter yourself,” he responded. “I’m here for the same reason you are.”
“So, it’s a total coincidence that I see you at one of these things for the first time the same day people started talking about us online?”
“Maybe I’ve been to a ton of these parties and you’ve just never noticed,” Eddie retorted.
“I doubt it,” Steve shot back.
“Why?”
“Because you’re hard to miss, Munson. Always have been,” Steve replied.
“Always?” Eddie echoed, confused. Then, the lights hit Steve’s face and illuminated it entirely. Enough for Eddie to remember where he’d seen him before.
“Got your water!” Robin announced as she returned. She handed Steve the new glass, and he took it without breaking eye contact with Eddie.
“Ohhhh my god,” Eddie said, stunned. “You're Steve Harrington. HARVEST is Steve goddamn Harrington.”
“Sure is,” Steve replied, his voice even.
“I missed something, didn’t I?” Robin asked.
“I mean, kind of,” Eddie said, raising his voice. “Just a couple years of King Steve bullying the school Freak.” Robin turned to Steve, alarmed.
“Wait, you bullied him?”
“How did you not know it was me?” Steve asked, getting agitated now. “Did you seriously come here to try to mooch off me without even doing your research first?”
“I never said I came here for you,” Eddie replied.
“You didn’t deny it either,” Steve reminded him. “You still aren’t, by the way.”
“Okay, fine!” Eddie relented. “You caught me. I came here to cash in on your fame, like some poor commoner in need of charity, and I didn’t even bother to look you up first because honestly? Your music kinda sucks.”
“Oh, I definitely missed something,” Robin muttered nervously.
“You wanna talk about shitty music?” Steve said through gritted teeth.
“Okay!” Robin interjected, inserting herself between them. “No more of this. It was nice meeting you, Eddie, but I think we should split.”
“No need,” Eddie replied. “You stay, I’ll go. You’re the ones who belong here anyway.” He did a slight bow and walked away, leaving Robin and Steve behind.
So much for fame.

Steve woke up the next morning with the hangover from hell. After Eddie left, he and Robin stuck around for another song or two before heading out themselves.
Steve never really liked Eddie that much in high school because he was a show-off. He loved making a scene in the cafeteria and he always acted like he was better than everyone else just because he refused to like anything that was popular. Sports, music, TV shows. They were never going to be friends, because Steve usually liked the stuff that other people liked. He used to follow the pack, so to speak, and do what the people around him expected him to do. Eddie tended to do the opposite. Eddie was abrasive and loud and obnoxious.
Back in high school, anyway. Steve knew that people had the capability to change (after all, he sure did), but after reuniting with Eddie at the bar, he was skeptical any growth or development had actually occurred in the last six years.
Eddie was still a dick, and Steve had no interest in ever seeing him again.
He pulled out his phone to see that it was still blowing up. There was a new tag trending - #steddie. Yikes. He’d also gotten even more followers. Then, another update caught his eye.
His new album had double the pre-orders it had the night before.
He’d put his heart and soul into this album, and he wanted more than anything for it to be recognized. He was popular, yeah, but mostly for a couple singles that played on the radio all the time. This album was a piece of art from top to bottom that Steve had painstakingly planned and created from scratch.
Maybe. Maybe this stupid ship with Eddie Munson could be worth something. But not enough to contact the guy. No way.
Steve opened his Instagram and then felt his heart drop.
@nancywheeler: Life hack - date a photographer so you get amazing candids on vacation 💕
It hadn’t even been that long since Nancy left Steve for Jonathan Byers. Well, maybe it had been long enough, but still. Cute couple’s posts already?
Oh, no. Steve wanted Nancy to feel like he did, and he knew what would do the trick. She was always a bit of the jealous type.
God dammit.

Things that make me happy right now ✨
As I mentioned yesterday, I wanted to make a list of the things that are bringing me happiness right now as I'm going through a hard time in my life. These are the things that I'm holding on to in order to keep going, and I thought it'd be fine to share them not only because it's gonna help me in my healing process, but also in case this post could help or inspire someone else. There's always many reasons to keep going and these are just some of mine right now 🥰
My Kitsune and Tanooki Plushies:
Tumblr media
I mean... Look at them. How could they not bring me happiness 🥹 I bought Tanooki Mario last year, shortly after the movie came out, and I simply couldn't have him alone anymore, so last month, at last, I also got Kitsune Luigi and now they finally have each other 🥹 I honestly cannot stop hugging them and staring at them because they're so CUTE 🥹
Also, this came in perfect timing as a couple of nights ago, I was able to feel calm and focused enough as to finish the Tanooki/Kitsune story I've been working on for the past month 🥰 It's the one that I intended to post mid May and that was inspired by this beautiful drawing, but even if it's coming later than I would've liked, at least now it's done and it just needs some editing before I can start translating it 🥰
In the meantime though, if you'd like to read a cute and fluffy story revolving around two plushies of the brothers using the Super Leaf power-up, you simply cannot miss @vulpixfairy1985's sweet and beautiful story which you'll find below! I believe you'll like these two cuties, my friend 🥰
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door:
Tumblr media
This wonderful game came in last Thursday (a little late though, almost 8PM 😂), and I've been playing it since then and I'm now going through my absolute favorite chapter 😁 I won't spoil anything for those of you who are playing it for the first time, but my God, It's being such a wonderful experience to replay this masterpiece 🥹🥹🥹 The graphics, the story, the characters, the music!!! Have you heard what they've done to the soundtrack??? 🤯🤯🤯 I swear I have to stop and listen to it for a few minutes every single time a new theme starts playing, so that I can appreciate it in its fullest and notice the slight changes they've made to improve every single one of them. And it simply makes me love this game even more 🥹🥹🥹
This was my very first Paper Mario game and I honestly cannot explain what it means to me to be replaying it almost 20 years later. The original for Gamecube made me fall in love with the series, and the remake for Nintendo Switch... what can I say: Mario is saving my life again 😌❤️✨
Just like I did with Princess Peach Showtime, there will be a post in the future showing all the merch I got for this game 😁
Seeing my favorite band live in two weeks! 🤩🤩🤩
Okay, remember this post I made a couple of months ago? 👇
As I mention in that same post, it was inspired by a Spanish band called Estopa which has been my absolute favorite since I was 14. They released a new album last March and have now started a tour around my country, and in only two weeks —two weeks!— I'm gonna see them live and I'm internally screaming 🤩🤩🤩
Musically speaking, Estopa has been the band of my life. They've inspired me to write two of my novels, as well as the Musicians post I just linked, and I just LOVE not just their music but also their lyrics. And their brotherly love! After all, they're two brothers from a town near Barcelona, which is why I thought our boys Mario and Luigi could work very well as a band 🥹 (something that I explore in the linked post above!)
And you know the best part? Later this summer, in August, they're coming to another town close to where I live... and I'll be seeing them again 😁😁😁 Double Estopa this year!!! 🤩🤩🤩
My doggies 🐶🐾✨

I guess this one was very obvious, but I just had to include my babies 🥹 They're my sweet little angels, they're not only beautiful but also very smart and silly, and I just love them so dearly 💖💖💖 Besides, the twins, Baloo and Mauri, have a great emotional intelligence, you know... Both of them know when I or any of my family members (mostly my parents) are feeling sad or down, and they immediately come to sit by our side or at our feet and try to make us feel better by placing their heads on our laps or, if they can, giving us small kisses in our hands or cheeks. And it just makes me love them even more 🥺🥺🥺
I really feel so grateful that these three babies are in my life 💖💖💖
Everything that I'm writing or plan to write 📝✨
Remember this post that I shared a while back? So far I've only finished two of the works on that list, with only one already posted, which you can read here if you're interested. It's about time that I go and finish other pending stories, like chapter 3 of Anything for him or a certain post-nightmare cuddles fic as both are long overdue 😅 The good news is, as I said above, the Tanooki/Kitsune story is done at last 🥰
Also, after I posted that list, I've come up with at least three more ideas that I haven't talked about yet, so... more to look forward indeed 👀 One of them especially has me absolutely EXCITED and I get new ideas for it almost every day 🤩🤩🤩 Hope I can tell you about them soon as well as bringing my promised stories at last! 🤞💖
And last but not least...
MY FRIENDS 🥹💖
Here I'm not only referring to my IRL friends, to whom, of course, I'm very grateful and love so much, but also, and obviously, to you, my dear friends 🥹 As I said yesterday, you've all become a very important part of my life and I feel you close even though we're all spread around the world. It's like we've formed some kind of family who are always there for each other no matter what and just want the rest of the members to be fine and healthy and happy. And it's honestly so touching and heartwarming 🥹💖 I truly feel like the luckiest woman on Earth for being part of such a wholesome group and I love every single one of you so so much 🫂💖💖
@vulpixfairy1985 @itsavee4117 @bberetd @peaches2217 @kelbreyworshipper
@keakruiser @pepperycar @stripetkattelalala54-gf @nuctoria @doodleydoo101 hope you don't mind that I mention you here to properly thank you for being the amazing people you are and for having being there for me when I needed you 🥰 I love you with all my heart and I'm so grateful that I met you 💖💖💖

(obey me) maybe how the characters quietly show their affection towards Mc? Like bringing trinkets or lingering near them? Love your writing!!^^
Omg that's such an adorable idea!! I enjoyed writing this!! Also thank you!
Also also I changed up the format for this one. Bullets felt more appropriate.
Dateables vers.(Coming soon)
Lucifer
He's a very busy guy but nonetheless he want you to know he cares
Whenever he sees you working hard, he likes to make you a cup of coffee, chocolate, or tea (depending on what you like, he also likes to remember how you like it)
If you work too hard, he makes sure you get enough rest and are at least taking care of yourself
Likes to gift you things that he knows you'll use (he remembers when you say you've run out of something or when you say you need something) which he usually just leaves in your room with a note if he's too busy
He likes to give you headpats whenever you do a good job
Manz is a crow, he gifts you any shiny thing he thinks you'll like
Mammon
Mountains of gifts which he makes sure is bought using hard earned money
He also likes to take you shopping a lot
Yknow how in the game they say the people in Mam's good graces gets very lucky in the money department?
Yep you've become the monarch of luck now
Very clingy pt. 1
He WILL make sure he's touching you be it a hand on your shoulder or your arms are so close they're touching
If he can't touch you in any way, he gravitates instead to the closest he can get to you
He also makes sure everyone in the room KNOWS they can't mess with you or else they'll be messing with him as well
Manz is protective
Leviathan
His love language is gushing to you about his favorite manga or anime
Whenever he's excited about something, ymhis first instinct is to send you a bunch of messages about it
He also likes to buy merch he thinks you might like whenever he's buying merch for himself
Very clingy pt. 2
He doesn't outright make physical contact because he's scared he'll cross a boundary or you'll hate him but he does definitely want to snuggle up to you all the time
If you convince him enough that you're fine with it, he'll start off with holding parts of your clothes to make sure you're near and after a while he'll warm up to actually holding you
Satan
Lots of book recommendations and poems
He also entertains any questions you have, no matter how ridiculous it is, and he'll always think about the question seriously no matter how silly it is
Whenever you are falling behind in class, he makes sure to help you
Sends you a lot of cat pics throughout the day
The cat pics vary from adorable cats that will make you coo out loud or chaotic cat memes that he knows will make you snort
He also likes to stay close to you whenever the two of you do your reading sessions (or when he's reading a book and you're on your DDD)
I feel like he's be one of those guys that leaves little notes here and there for you along with flowers
Asmodeus
Always makes time for you, usually at night when he loves to do a nightly routine with you
Loves using the best products he recently bought with you
Very clingy pt. 3
He MUST have some sort of contact with you
He gets pouty when he doesn't
Whenever you're out in a very crowded place, he keep an eye on you to make sure you're ok and having fun even if he gets surrounded by a bunch of people
Secretly makes sure no one dares make a move you wouldn't like
Also for some strange reason, you never have any bad rumors about you and if you ever do it always only circulates a day or two before it stops
Beelzebub
You are one of the few that have the privilege to be able to take some of his food without dying
He even offers you food at times
He also likes to linger near you
Whenever you're out or even just in the same room, he likes to stick close
He wants to always be ready to jump in if you're ever in trouble
He also always offers to help when you need to open a very stubborn jar or carry heavy objects
Beel is always willing to help you out with anything
Belphegore
Clingy pt. 4
He always finds a way to lean on you whether it's sitting down, standing up, or lying down
If you're sitting, he'll either have his head on your shoulder or lap
If you're standing he somehow ends up sleeping while leaning on your back
He also leaves little enchantments in your room to make sure you always have nice dreams
Have a reccuring nightmare and tell him about it? Surprise! It's gone the next night

hi all.
i’m hoping to get back to updating soon. it’s something i dearly miss and cannot wait to get back to when i have time. ive been putting a lot of my focus lately into not only my last semester of grad school but also into action for palestine. it’s more important to me to invest the little free time i have into doing what i can to push the fight for a liberated palestine. i refuse to sit here and act like everything is okay when millions of people are suffering a genocide.
hybe is complicit in this ethnic cleansing as well whether you want to accept it or not. they’ve allowed scooter braun to have the power and influence to spread zionist propaganda. scooter braun has always shown himself to be a despicable excuse for a human being, and if him being a zionist on top of all of that isn’t enough for you to consider his termination a crucial goal to work toward.. you do not truly care about palestine.
palestine cannot be free if we allow zionism to become normalized. it’s our duty to call it out and shame zionists out of our spaces! they are not and should not be welcome ANYWHERE. which is why i’m one of many moas who have made the decision to BOYCOTT HYBE. i refuse to put money in the pockets of these greedy, capitalist pigs who don’t care about anything but squeezing every penny they can out of fans. it’s not about the music anymore for bighit. all they care about is how much they can get away with because they know we’re willing to spend anything if it means getting content and merch. i don’t want to hurt txt’s comeback, but in my opinion, a comeback isn’t more important than a fucking genocide. plain and simple. i refuse to give hybe any more of my money through streams, album sales, tickets, or merch until they get rid of fuckass scooter braun.
if you don’t want to boycott, that’s fine. that’s your choice and i don’t blame you for not wanting to. as long as you’re doing what you can to help palestine in other ways, i see no shame. but i still do encourage you to consider boycotting as well. if not, but you’re able to buy multiple albums and concert tickets? i think you can also donate to palestinian aid and families as well. i just ask you not say you care about palestine yet do nothing to help their resistance.
that being said: i hope you don’t shame fans who do choose to partake in this boycott, because you need to understand this isn’t an attack on txt or any other hybe group. i’ve seen so many people attack boycotters and accuse us of wanting our idols to fail. it makes my blood boil because that couldn’t be farther from the truth. you must be truly out of touch and thick headed to think this is a personal attack on them. there are more important things than a comeback. especially when one of the songs (the killa) on txt’s new album was produced BY AN “ISRAELI”!! this is what we’re talking about when we say scooter braun is playing a huge role in welcoming zionism to hybe. people are losing their homes, their land, their families, their LIVES.. this is about removing the facilitators of genocide from positions of power in every industry they leech on. and if you somehow can’t seem to understand that, you’re a zionist too. chart positions, views, album sales, whatever are not more important than the liberation of indigenous people. choosing to believe otherwise is cruel and evil, and choosing to argue with us over this makes you no ally to palestine. it makes you complicit to the normalization of zionism which is the primary force in the oppression and dehumanization of palestinian people.
i encourage you to download the songs elsewhere (so many google drive links and free streaming apps exist (for example: musi)). don’t stream the killa. refuse the normalization of zionism. make zionists UNCOMFORTABLE! they don’t deserve to experience peace when palestinians are living in constant fear because of the barbaric attacks by that illegitimate state trying to forcibly steal palestinian land.
below i’ve attached graphics from twitter made by palestinian fans and allies who are leading the boycott against hybe. if you would like more information i will link other important twitter accounts you can check out for more. you don’t have to follow the whole list but they ask we at least adhere up to priority 3!
i’m open to providing any other information you need. thank you for reading.

Reverse Isekai'd
!!Warning!! Fluff!! Suggestive theme!!! Soft Gojo!! Name is changeable
Today is my long-awaited anime convention. I can barely contain my excitement as I grab my backpack which is decorated with tin brooches of my favourite character, namely Gojo Satoru, there are other characters, but it was undoubtedly dominated by Gojo Satoru. “Yosh! Let’s go.” I nodded.
I am going to meet with my friend Yae in the convention hall. 09.00 a.m. It’s almost time. I take my house key and step out of my apartment. I have been doing part-time jobs and saved my allowance for the sake of this convention. I am going to buy a lot of merch this time around, so I have fattened my bank account nicely.
“Yae,” I called out to my friend who has been waiting at the front gate.
“Raika, you are finally here.” She smiled.
“Yep, I am here!” I laughed.
“Let’s go! I have seen someone cosplay Gojo perfectly, let’s ask some pic of him.” Yae smirked.
“Really? Let’s go!” I practically dragged her inside searching for the said cosplayer. But well, it was no easy feat. The whole building is crawling with a lot of people, and there are some that cosplay the same character, so my search for that Gojo cosplayer can wait. I want to buy a lot of merch first.
“Aren’t you buying a little too much?” Yae glanced at my overcapacity backpack plus shopping bags in my hands.
“Like you are one to talk.” I retorted back, referring to the multiple, even much more than my shopping bag.
“Well, it can’t be helped. Who told them to display such a refined figure of Archer Emiya.” She sighed without an ounce of guilt.
“Yep. That’s what they did with Gojo too, so I couldn’t help but buy it.” I nodded. I understand what she is feeling, because I am too, like that.
“Let’s eat first. It’s almost one. We have been walking for almost 4 hours straight.” Yae said.
“Good idea, then let’s go to Jujutsu café,” I exclaimed.
“Okay, okay. We’ll be eating your beloved Gojo Satoru’s face over there.”
“Don’t say something weird like that. It’s a character-themed meal, okay.” I corrected her.
“Yes yes.” She nodded. ~”~
After our lunch, it’s time to hunt for that cosplayer again. I will find them even if it’s the last thing I do. I mean, since I have come here, let me just pretend that Gojo Satoru exists in real world for a limited time.
It’s almost four o’clock and there’s no trace of the said cosplayer. “Maybe they already went home?” I muttered disappointed.
“If they are cosplayers, I bet they will come to the next convention.” Yae comforted me.
“I guess.” I nodded my head listlessly.
“I should have asked him to give us some of his time.” Yae sighed.
“It’s fine.” I shook my head. “I mean, we didn’t really know them, asking them like that is pretty weird. Let’s just go home for today.” I smiled.
“Why don’t we come back tomorrow?” Yae suggested.
“Well, we can. But we won’t be spending money anymore.” I laughed.
“I agree with that. We can just ask them for a pic and then go home.” Yae also laughed.
“Okay, let’s try again tomorrow.” Now that I am cheered up, I feel a little better. “Yae…” I called out for my best friend, while my eyes are fixed on a certain spot.
“What’s wrong?”
“Is that the cosplayer you were talking about?” I pointed to a direction, where I could see the Gojo Satoru. The height, the hair, the shape of his body, the body language, all of them literally scream Gojo Satoru. It’s like he pops out from anime to real world. It’s unbelievable, but this is the power of cosplayers.
“That’s him!!!” Yae exclaimed.
“Yosh!” My lips curled into a smile. “I am going to ask for a pic.” I grinned. ‘I just hope he/she is nice enough to grant this small wish of mine.’ Even though I look like that, I am actually a cowardly introvert. I am afraid of pain, afraid of rejection and afraid of troubling people. People like me won’t have many friends. In addition to that my hobby was not something that many people enjoy, so, I have an even smaller circle of friends than a normal introvert. Anime convention is a rare place where I can let out my inner fangirl. I can talk about anime everywhere without being looked at with judging eyes.
“Excuse me.” I gathered my courage to call he/she. ~”~
Gojo Satoru is confused. Confused is an understatement. He actually couldn’t grasp what in the world is happening now. He woke up as usual and then was assigned a special grade mission. So, instead of teaching first years, he was going to exorcise a cursed spirit. And man, was that weak. It didn’t even put up a fight aside from its special grade amount of cursed energy. It was fine and dandy for him. Less work and more money. But the moment he turned his back, the cursed energy that the cursed spirit had exploded and then here he is.
From the look of it, he is still in Japan. He can see and read the Japanese words on every sign. At least he knows he won’t be having trouble communicating. And the place he is now is crawling with people in arrays of colours and costumes. ‘Ah, anime convention.’ He nodded to himself. Gojo Satoru concluded he might be teleported somewhere. So, it’s time for him to go back to Jujutsu High to write another report…or not. Since he is here, let’s eat something sweet before calling Ijichi to pick him up.
But before he could reach the first destination of his sweets tour, he was blocked by girls who were asking for pictures. Oh yes, of course he was happy to oblige. See, he is just that awesome, even with his blindfold on, his charisma is still off chart. Then, they asked him to say something in character. This confused him a bit. Say something in character? Do they mean saying something like him, the Gojo Satoru would say?
“I am the strongest.” He pulled a grin and the girls went all kyaa, so he guessed he nailed their request. His path to the sweets stall is pretty rough, he keeps getting a request to be taken a picture, saying something and some even request him to show his Six Eyes. Those requests weren’t hard to fulfill… and then as if he realized something, he suddenly stopped. ‘Was Gojo Satoru this popular?’ He frowned. He knew he was popular in jujutsu sorcerer circle. But the people here are all just normal humans that can’t see cursed spirits, how do they know about Six Eyes?
A sense of unease begins to creep inside his mind. And when he found a café that has his face drawn on a piece of a carton, he begins to alert. His mind is thinking about every possibility. This definitely has to do with the cursed spirit he exorcised. Illusion? Dream? Those two are the most plausible explanation for his current situation. He tried to channel his cursed energy and was relieved he still could do it. To avoid more attention and start gathering information, he cast a small veil around his body, to make him less noticeable.
Gojo Satoru spent his time walking around the strange place. But what he saw is even more confusing. In this world, Gojo Satoru is very common. He has met a few of himself, or should he says people who disguised as him. He also knew that the people here knew about him, his students and some sorcerers, namely Nanamin, Mei-san and Utahime and Sukuna. He almost laughed out loud when he saw a person disguised as Megumi smiles. Megumi and smile are not to be in one sentence.
He even saw a lot of fake Sukunas. One thing he is sure of is they treat them like entertainment. He was pretty uneasy seeing them like this. Because he even heard some discussion about how Yuji would die after he consumed all of Sukuna’s fingers. Some even say something about him and Utahime being a couple. Nah, that one won’t be possible. Utahime would rather die than stay in the same room with him anyway.
Anyway, he wants to do something, but it’s still really crowded and he knows if he wants information, he can’t look like this. This is the first time that being himself is not a good way to collect information. He also still needs to find that special grade cursed spirit after all or the trace of its cursed energy. Surely, it was a lead back home. Now that he has decided his course of action, it’s time to execute it.
“Excuse me.” Gojo Satoru heard a voice. At first, he thought that someone was calling other people not him, until he turned back and saw a petite girl looking straight at him. “Hm?” He smirked. His veil was only making him less noticeable, but it was very effective against ordinary citizens, but this girl managed to pick him out. She has the potential to become a Window. If he was not in a state of confusion, he would have recruited her on the spot. Jujutsu world is always short-handed, not to mention she is a very cute girl.
“Ca-can I take a picture of you?” She requested. ~”~
“Ca-can I take a picture of you?” I squeaked out. The cosplayer in front of me doesn’t say anything, seemingly deep in thought. ‘Did I catch him at a bad time? Or he is not comfortable enough for his picture to be taken?’
“I…I am sorry!” I bowed. “If, if you are not comfortable, I won’t disturb you.” I quickly added, bowed once more and walked back to Yae.
“It’s okay.” He suddenly opened his mouth.
“Eh?” I blinked and looked back at him.
“I don’t mind for a picture. From what I can see, you really love this person.” He smirked.
‘Too alike!!!!’ I flushed when he referred to my bag. ‘Even his voice is almost the same! This cosplayer is really a god tier.’
“Well…” I was flustered to say a comeback.
“In exchange, can I ask you a few questions?”
“Questions? Okay.” I nodded slowly.
“So, where is this?” He asked his first question.
“Eh?” I blinked owlishly, dumbfounded by his question. ‘What does he mean by where is this? Isn’t he a cosplayer? How come he can come here without knowing where is this? I mean he is a cosplayer…’
“Ah.” I hit my fist on my palm. “Are you by any chance, getting dressed up by your friends and then dumped here?” I asked back.
“Yep, that’s right.” He nodded excitedly. “I was told to change into this and then they did my make-up, brought me here and then left me alone.”
“They are too cruel.” I nodded along with him. “Well, this is anime convention in Tokyo, Odaiba convention centre. Can’t you call your friends? I mean, it’s not nice leaving you alone here.” I frowned,
“I want to do that, but my phone is broken.” He smiled sheepishly.
“How unlucky you are…” I sweatdropped.
“I know right? By the way, what do you know about this character?” He gestured to his costume.
“You are cosplaying a character named Gojo Satoru.” I smiled as my eyes sparkled. I then go on a tirade about jujutsu kaisen’s anime and manga. I did get a free copy of volume one as freebie, so I showed it to him.
“Are you okay?” I asked worriedly. He seems like he is paler than he was. “Are you feeling unwell? Should I take you to rest area?” I started to panic.
“Rai-chan.” Yae approached us. “What’s wrong?”
“Yae, this person is feeling unwell. Where was the rest area? We have to take him there! Should we call for doctor?” I jolted her back and forth.
“Calm down.” Yae eyes were swimming. “Let’s guide him to rest area first.”
“It’s okay. I was a little overwhelmed.” The cosplayer said as he smiled.
“Really? You are not sick?” I looked at him worriedly.
“Let’s just find a café or something. I haven’t eaten since morning, and I am quite hungry.” He said.
“Okay…” We brought him to Jujutsu Kaisen café. ~”~
Overwhelmed. Yes, that is what Gojo Satoru feels. He is utterly overwhelmed by the sheer information that he has just gotten from this cute girl. And it was only the tip of iceberg. He can now conclude for sure that this is another universe. He was whisked to another world by the blast of cursed energy. That special grade was gathering cursed energy from whoever it killed adding it to its own. And its technique is activated the moment it died. The gathered cursed energy was enough to tear open space and time.
And here in this world, they are just a piece of fiction, written and drawn by an artist. No wonder, they were talking about them like entertainment. They are really just entertainment. For once, he actually couldn’t think which one is reality and which one dream. Does this mean, the whole life he has been living was just a lie, a fiction? The choice they made, the cursed users they killed are all dictated by this creator. His jaw clenched and a murderous aura leaked out.
“Are you okay?” The girl suddenly asked. “Are you feeling unwell? Should I take you to rest area?” She started to panic.
“Rai-chan.” Another approached us, presumably her friend. “What’s wrong?”
“Yae, this person is feeling unwell. Where was the rest area? We have to take him there! Should we call for doctor?” The petite girl shook her friend back and forth. She’s worried about a stranger, how cute of her. But thanks to that, he could compose himself.
“Calm down.” Yae eyes were swimming. “Let’s guide him to rest area first.”
“It’s okay. I was a little overwhelmed.” He smiled at them.
“Really? You are not sick?” She is still sceptical.
“Let’s just find a café or something. I haven’t eaten since morning, and I am quite hungry.” Gojo changed the topic. They then lead him to that café that featured their picture. Inside, the two girls recommended some menu to him. So, while waiting, he flips open the book. ~”~
“So, I thought you were asking for a picture?” Yae whispered. She must be wondering how from asking for a picture led to this situation where we have a meal together. But he seems to be absorbed in the manga. He must like it very much.
“You see…” So, I told Yae that his friend pranked him, where they put cosplay on him and then left him here. With his phone broken, he couldn’t even contact his friends. He is really stranded in this sea of humans.
“You sure he was not lying?” Yae frowned
“…Why would he be lying? I mean, what could he get from us?” I blinked. “Besides, anyone who cosplays as Gojo Satoru is not a bad person.” I justified.
“This Gojo Satoru fanatic.” Yae rolled her eyes. Unaware that our conversation was clearly heard by the man opposite us, his mouth quirked up slightly.
“This is interesting. Do you have the next volume?” The cosplayer suddenly asked.
“I know you will like it.” I perked up and smiled brightly. “Ah, the next volume is in my home.”
“That’s too bad.”
“But, here.” I showed him an app I used to read manga online. “You can read it from this app.”
“Can I borrow your phone?” He asked.
“I don’t mind but…”
“But…”
“Can you really read with your blindfold on? I mean, that must be a hassle, right? You don’t really need to get into character anymore. You should read normally.” I said. I know there were some cosplayers liked to stay in character until they changed costumes, but this man here is not a cosplayer… Maybe a cosplayer that hasn’t read Jujutsu Kaisen, I guess.
“Oh, that’s right. No wonder I have difficulty reading. I forgot I have my blindfold on.” The man teehee’ed.
‘So cute.’ I almost squealed out loud. This guy must be a natural, that’s why his friends dress him up as Gojo Satoru. He didn’t even need to learn about his habit or behaviour.
“…” I was in a daze when I finally saw him take off his blindfold. They were contact lenses, but they were very vivid as if they were real. Even Yae was taken aback.
“…Where do you buy those contact lenses? What brand? How much?” Yep, Yae definitely wants those.
“Well, I am not sure. I mean, my friend dressed me up, remember?” He smiled.
“Oh, that’s right.” Yae slumped on the chair. “I wish I can meet your friends now.” She mumbled.
“Here are your orders.” Our orders came at the right time. We only ordered drinks since we had had lunch. But this cosplayer is really sweets fan. Half of the table is full of sweets, courtesy of his orders.
He appears to be really into Jujutsu Kaisen, he didn’t even stop reading it while eating. “This guy will be a true Gojo cosplayer after this,” Yae commented.
“Hehehe. Well, he has a talent you know. He didn’t even know who Gojo Satoru is yet he mimicked him perfectly.” I giggled. ~”~
While eating his sweets, Gojo keeps his ears open, while his eyes are reading a manga about his and his students’ story. He skimmed the whole story and found out a few details. This story centred around Yuji. The story only depicts big events. It didn’t show how they through their normal schooldays that wasn’t about exorcising curse. And the latest issues depicted what has yet to happen.
This is a huge advantage for him. This is basically a future sight. If he could use this well, then a lot of problems can be avoided. Especially now that he knows something is using his best friend, Geto Suguru’s body. Even though there’s no evidence that his own world will unfold as this story depicted, he’d rather be safe than sorry. ~”~
At the end of our meal, the cosplayer is paying for us, even though we offered to split the bill, he still insisted as a thanks, he said. So, we relented. “Thank you…” Now, I finally realized that I still don’t even know his real name. ‘What should I do?’ I looked at Yae for help, but Yae just shrugged her shoulders.
“It’s Tanaka Toru.” He grinned.
“Oh, thank you, Tanaka-san.” I bowed.
“It’s fine, I should be thankful for you.” He barked a laugh. “Well then, I still have to fulfil my end of the deal.”
“A deal?” I tilted my head.
“You requested a picture, didn’t you?”
“Ah!” I just remembered about that. “But you have treated us. I think that was enough.” I had a meal with Gojo Satoru, it’s enough repayment.
“No can do.”
“Rai-chan, knowing you, tomorrow you will cry why you didn’t take his offer today,” Yae interjected.
“Yae!!!!” I shrieked at my friend that exposed me like that. “I won’t cry.” I hissed.
“Your Gojo fanatic side will.” She retorted back,
“Urgh…” I didn’t have a comeback for that.
“Hahaha, you two really get along very well.” He laughed. “So, what kind of pose you want?”
“Po-pose?” I squeaked.
“A service.” He winked.
“!!!” My face heated up at the sudden attack.
“She said even if it’s only once, she wanted Gojo Satoru put his chin on the top of her head. She said it was her advantage as a short person.”
“!!!!!!” My heart jumped out of my throat.
“Hooo…” Tanaka-san looked at me while grinning mischievously.
“No… that… you don’t need to do that.” I flailed my arms, trying to say some coherent words, but my cheeks weren’t helping by staying warm all the time. ‘I want to crawl into a hole.’ Tears of embarrassment pooled in the corner of my eyes.
“Tha…that was only delusion of mine. You don’t need to do that, Tanaka-san. I knew better than make a stranger do that weird pose.” I said in a flustered tone.
“I don’t mind.” He said.
“Eh?”
“Yoisho.” I was suddenly pulled to him and felt something heavy on the top of my head. “Like this?”
“~~~~~~” Though his hands only rested on my shoulders, I still think I am going to faint from the close proximity. ‘He is not the real Gojo Satoru. He is not the real Gojo Satoru.’ I chanted the mantra in my mind. But to no avail, with Tanaka-san still in his cosplay, I couldn’t help but think the real Gojo Satoru was the one doing this.
“Perfect.” Yae snapped a picture for us. The me in the picture couldn’t even lift her head due to how embarrassed I was.
“It’s cute.” Tanaka-san commented.
“I am sorry, I am sorry.” I bowed repeatedly to him.
“It was not a problem at all.” He giggled.
“Let’s go or else we will miss our train.” Yae with her strength dragged me away by the scruff of my shirt with all of our shopping bags in her hands.
“Tanaka-san, thank you very much.” I thanked him.
“Be careful on the way home,” Tanaka-san said. ~”~
“Well then.” Gojo Satoru stretched his limbs. He needs to get home fast. But he will need to dye his hair and change his eyes' colour. And then, a place to sleep and some clothing. He has cash in his wallet, but that won’t be enough to cover everything. And he also needs a new phone and a new ID. If he was truly whisked to another universe, he wasn't registered anywhere and of course that includes his phone provider.
“Then, the first thing I need is hair dye and contact lenses, and then a new ID, phone and money.” He murmured. To him, making money is an easy matter. Even though right now he can’t use his speciality to earn money, he knew a trick or two in stock market. That’s what he would do. So he can spend the rest of his day to search a way back home. ~”~
After a nice bath and dinner, it’s finally time for me to unbox my precious merchandise. I am feeling so giddy right now because I am going to add my collection of Gojo Satoru. Not to mention today, I got a pic of a perfect Gojo cosplayer. “Hehehe.” A silly smile appeared on my face. Yae has changed my lock screen into that very same pic. “~~~~” I rolled back and forth on my bed. I am happy but also embarrassed at the same time.
“I hope we meet again at the next convention.” I mumbled a wistful wish. ~”~
I don’t know what kind of luck I have, or Kami-sama is being generous right now. But I meet Tanaka-san a few days later at my part-time. I am doing part-time job in a small coffee shop. “Welcome, how can I help you today?” I smiled at the customer. I blink at the customer who is grinning at me. “You are Tanaka-san, aren’t you?” Even though his hair and eyes are all black now, I can still recognize him from his body language. He is truly the embodiment of living Gojo Satoru.
“Yep. You got it right.” He nodded.
“I have never thought we will meet again.” I giggled. “Which one you would like to buy?” I smiled.
“Any recommendation?”
“The chiffon cake is a nice pair with our matcha latte. And cheesecake will be delicious with any beverage. I like to pair it with berry yoghurt though. Oh, our Caramel latte is also a bestseller.”
“Then, I will take 3 slices chiffon cakes, two slices of cheesecake and a matcha latte, extra sweet, please. I will dine in.”
“Right away.” I quickly made his order and put his ordered cake onto plates. “Here you are, the total is 2.450 yen.”
“Here.” Tanaka-san used his phone to pay.
“Thank you very much.” I gave back his phone.
“I still haven’t got the change.” He smirked.
“Change???” I blinked.
“Your phone number, put it in.” He leaned across the counter to whisper.
“O…oh…” I blushed again. I think I am blushing a lot recently and clumsily typing my number in. “He-here…” I stuttered a little. Tanaka-san throws a wink again when he got his phone back. “~~~~” I cast my head down. ~”~
From that day on, Tanaka-san becomes a regular customer for us. The staff also remember him as Raika’s suitor and always call me to serve him. Though I appreciate their effort, it was pretty embarrassing every time they call me out. They even refer to him as my boyfriend, I feel bad for him, even if he doesn’t really mind.
“Thank you for waiting, Toru-san,” I spoke to Tanaka-san who has been waiting until my shift is over. It’s been a month since our meeting, and he insisted to be called by his given name. I object at first, but he throws me abandoned kitty eyes in the rain and I cave in.
“It’s fine. There’s no need to rush.” Toru-san smiled. Toru-san will walk me home for the day when my part-time shift is over at night.
“You truly don’t need to trouble yourself walking me home,” I muttered.
“Do I make you uncomfortable?” His smile dropped.
“No. Not at all.” I shook my head vehemently. “It’s just…”
“Just…”
“…I might get the wrong idea…” I mumbled softly.
“Hm?” He leaned closer.
“No, nothing at all,” I responded. “Anyway, Toru-san, will you cosplay as Gojo again in the next convention?” I asked.
“…You really like Gojo Satoru, don’t you?” He chuckled.
“…Hmm… I guess I like him as a character and a person. Gojo Satoru has everything I lack. By that, I don’t mean fame or wealth. It’s his confidence and charisma and his wit.” I smiled.
“…”
“I always thought if I have just a fraction of his confidence and wit, I might do better in my life. I am a rather timid person after all. Ah, of course it’s not like I hate my current life. I am surrounded by a lot of nice people and I am very happy.” I laughed.
“But you did well asking me for a picture.” He pointed out.
“That… well… anime convention is one of few places that I can comfortably show my hobby and I got really excited.” I smiled sheepishly.
“Were you bullied?” He frowned.
“It’s not exactly bullying.” I smiled. “It’s just people around me have little to no interest in my hobby, and I am particularly very invested in this hobby of mine. Even though I talked to them, they will show weird glances and tell me to grow up. I once argued my hobby is pretty similar to how invested they are in their favourite celebrities. Well, that didn’t end well…” I laughed. “They told me their celebrities are real and exist in real life but mine is not.”
“So, I’d prefer to keep my hobby and private life secret. Well, my colleagues knew about my hobby, they were fine with it, but often remind me not to spend too much.” I giggled.
“I guess if I have 1/10 of Gojo Satoru’s wit and confidence I could shoot a witty comeback.”
“So, if someone with a similar personality as Gojo Satoru exists, will you date him?” He quirked his brow.
“I guess they do exist. But I don’t think dating him will end well.” I mused.
“Why?” Toru-san suddenly stopped.
“Hmmm… maybe because we are too polar opposite that it won’t end well.”
“But opposite attracts.” He pouted.
“It might be going well at first. But soon, I think they will get bored of me.”
“I don’t think I will.” He interjected.
“That’s the difference between being friends with someone like him and dating someone like him,” I said.
“If I were to date someone like him, he might find it interesting at first because I am very emotional, in contrast with them using logic for everything. But sooner or later that emotional aspect of mine will cause my insecurities to weigh me down and I don’t plan to burden them with my emotional baggage. I get super clingy as well and need assurance every time. I also get jealous easily, sulk easily, will use a very roundabout way to ask for something, sometimes even wishing that they can read my mind instead.” I listed out as I counted my fingers. “The worst part might be in argument. I tend to need a longer time to process the whole thing, but his type of a person was like… how do I say it, he wants it to finish that right now so he can put it behind them. Oh, and I cry easily. In short, I am a very high maintenance but low return. That sums about it.” I giggled at my own shortcomings.
“You shouldn’t downgrade yourself that much.” He frowned.
“It’s the truth.” I laughed. “Oh, we have arrived.” I looked at my apartment. “Thank you for walking me home, Toru-san.” I bowed. “Please be careful on your way home.”
“Rai-chan.” Toru-san suddenly walked closer. “Be more proud of yourself. Someone who treasures you might appear soon.” He patted my head.
“Oh…” I was surprised at his remark, but when I snapped back, he has already walked away. “Can’t they be you?” I whispered softly as I looked at his back longingly. ~”~
“So, when are you going to tell us you two are dating?” Yae looked at me.
“Dating? Who and who?” I blinked.
“It’s you and Toru-san of course.” Yae rolled her eyes exasperatedly.
“M-Me?! And Toru-san?!” I squeaked. “N-no! We are not dating!” I flailed my arms.
“He is walking you every day, waiting for your shift to finish and you call that not dating?” Yae pressed. “And let’s not forget he was the one who ask your phone number first.”
“W-well, he was being nice?”
“What are you? Stupid?” Yae flicked my forehead.
“It hurts.” I rubbed the sore spot. “Besides, he didn’t walk me home recently and seldom reply to my text anymore. So, there’s no way there’s a chance of dating each other.” I smiled sadly.
“…When was the last time he walked you home?”
“And what did you guys talk about?”
“About would I date someone with Gojo Satoru’s personality?”
“So, your answer is?”
“I said the relationship won’t last or end well, and I told him about my shortcomings. After that… well the rest is history.” I smiled.
“…” Yae was silent for a while and then suddenly slammed her hands on the table, loudly I might add.
“Y-Yae?” I squeaked.
“Let’s go.” She growled.
“Go? Go to where?”
“Tanaka Toru’s house. You know where is it, don’t you?”
“I-I know his address but, I never go to his house.”
“We are going there right now.” Yae is starting to breathe fire.
“Why do we need to go there?” I cried out.
“Of course I am going to rip off, cut off and smash off his third leg so he can be a woman forever.” She smiled darkly. I can see the dragon behind her breathing fire.
“Le-let’s not go that far. He might be just busy.” I tried to calm her down.
“Ha?! You think I am an idiot?! He clearly ghosted you after you spills about yourself.”
“He did say I shouldn’t downgrade myself too much though.”
“That’s not important.” Yae shoved her head onto my face. “The most important thing is, he strung you along then ghosted you because you have shortcomings. Who the hell in this world didn’t have a fault? I would like to see.”
“Gojo Satoru,” I answered, raising my hand like a good student.
“This stupid girl!” Yae bonked my head hard. “Even Gojo Satoru also has some faults. It’s just he’s better at hiding it.” Yae growled. “If he was so perfect, then he should have noticed his best friend’s crumbling mental state.”
“But then… there will be no story to write.”
“And the way he couldn’t read between the lines is also annoying.”
“I think he is doing it on purpose.”
“That’s even more annoying.” Yae roared. “Why do you keep defending him anyway?”
“Well, he is my favourite character.” I sulked.
“This Gojo fanatic.” Yae clicked her tongue.
“Eh? I like how Rai-chan holds him in high regard though.” A new voice joined in. “But I do agree that he is good at hiding his own faults.”
“…Toru-san?!!!” I gaped. “Why are you here? No, since when you are here?”
“Starting from ‘Of course I am going to rip off, cut off and smash off his third leg so he can be a woman forever’.” He grinned.
“Th-that long time ago?” I sputtered.
“Oh? Then you should be ready because I am going to do it right now.” Yae smiled.
“St-stop!!!” I quickly stood up between them. “Le-let’s not be hasty. This is still public space.” I said.
“We don’t mind at all. And we all agree with Yae. Someone should hit him before we gang up on him.” Manager smiled from the counter along with the staff. Yes, we are having our conversation in the very same café I worked part-time at. That’s why we haven’t been kicked out yet for being too loud.
“Manager!! Don’t encourage Yae!!!” I shrieked.
“Go for it, Yae-chan!!!”
“Use that wrestle move I taught you.”
“Everyone!!!!” I cried out.
“So, what are you doing here? After ghosting Rai-chan for a week, what are you trying to do.”
“We are going on a date.” I felt something heavy on the top of my head and hands encircled my waist and I froze. “I have been thinking and running everywhere to pick a perfect date spot. I finally found it, so I came to pick Rai-chan.” I could feel Toru-san smile.
“Where are you going to take her?” Yae narrowed her eyes.
“It’s a secret.” He grinned. “Don’t worry, I won’t take her to any shady place. Even if Rai-chan wants to, I will just bring her back to my house.” He looked down at me at the same time I looked up and he smirked.
“…” I was too stunned to speak.
“Your house is the shadiest.” Yae glared.
“Well then, let’s go.” Toru-san dragged me away from the café. ~”~
The perfect date spot he mentioned is an amusement park. Toru-san brought me to amusement park. This theme park is actually pretty popular as a date spot. “I bought the tickets. Let’s go.” He cheered as he held my hand.
‘Date…?’ (Riding tea cups)
‘He brought me to a date…?’ (Riding roller coaster)
“We are on a date?!” I blinked in shock.
“Oh, you finally came back. I was wondering what should I do to wake you up from your daze. Even if you look adorable like that.” He smirked.
“…wh…what were you going to do?” I dared myself to ask.
“You want to know?” He leaned closer.
“…on second thought. It’s fine if I don’t know.” I took a step back, averting my eyes.
“I was wondering if I should pull a Gojo Satoru on you.” He chuckled.
“Why?” I blinked.
“Because you like him sooo much.” He even emphasized it with his hands.
“But… Right now, the one with me is Toru-san! I want to know more about you. so, I... I’d rather Toru-san being Toru-san.”
I gasp, ‘Wha-what did I say just now? Didn’t that sound like a confession? What should I do if I make him uncomfortable?’
“To…Toru-san… I am sorry… I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable…” I trembled. “Yo…you can forget what I just said.”
“Okay, I will keep being me just for you.” Toru-san suddenly smiled softly. His eyes also look softer.
“O-oh? Is that so?”
“Let’s go, we are going to ride all of the attractions.” He held my hand again. Today will be the best memories of my whole life. ~”~
“…Why is the street suddenly devoid of people?” I frowned. I was sure I was walking in a very crowded street, a crossroad no less. But then suddenly, everyone is gone. Or was I the one who went missing?
I feel fear creep its hand out. I quickly pull out my phone to call for someone or anyone. But my phone is out of service. “…wa-wa…want so…so-someee….?” I heard a weird voice and my whole body tensed up. I look left and right to seek out the source.
“Wa…want…sooooommmeeee?” Something came out from the shadow of the nearest traffic light pole. It was a monster… a greenish oval-shaped monster with hollow eyes which streaming down with dark stuff.
‘Run!’ I quickly ran to escape and shake off this monster. But the monster also takes off to run after me. ‘Hurry. Faster!’ But no matter how fast I run, where I run, I can’t escape the crossroad. I keep coming back to the same place and the monster is coming closer and closer.
“Ah!” I tripped over and fall down on the street. My knees and palms are throbbing because of the fall. Blood seeped out from the wounds. ‘Get up!’ I forced myself to get up. ‘Hurry up.’ I sniffle a sob as I managed to get up and limp away from that green monster.
“Wan…wan…want…sosososommeeeee.” It opened its mouth, it became so big that it could swallow me in one bite.
I shut my eyes tightly, waiting for a painful death. But the awaited pain is not coming, so I crack open my eyes slightly.
“Die.” Toru-san blasted away that monster to smithereens. That move, that greenish-dark monster. I knew what is that and what Toru-san did. It shouldn’t be possible. He is a fiction, he doesn’t exist. But, the sight in front of me is real. There is no mistake that he is Gojo Satoru. ~”~
“It’s fortunate that you didn’t hurt badly.” Toru, no Gojo Satoru-san sighed in relief as he patched me in his apartment.
“…”
“Rai-chan?” He looked at me worriedly.
‘Wh-what should I do? I am not dreaming, right? I mean, I can still my knees aching a little. Or might this be a realistic dream? Or this is an afterlife because I was maimed dead back then? He is Gojo Satoru. The real Gojo Satoru that I am sure was part of a fiction an hour ago. If he was Toru-san, does that mean I spent a lot of time simping him in front of himself?!!!!’
“Hehehe…” I hear his chuckle. “Sorry, I don’t mean to laugh at you. it’s just what were you thinking is reflected in your face. It’s easy to read.” His shoulders trembled.
“Eh?” I blinked. I don’t think I was that bad. At least, no one said that.
“You were thinking about you were simping me in front of me, weren’t you?” He smirked.
“How do you-!” I clapped my mouth shut to avoid making myself more embarrassed.
“You can simp for me more.” He giggled.
“~~~~~” I averted my eyes, pouting a little.
“Are you curious?” Toru, no Gojo-san asked.
I nod my head slightly. He then takes a seat beside me and proceeds to tell me what happened.
“…sorry…”
“Why are you apologizing? It’s not your fault.” He blinked.
“I… didn’t know that you were real. And I went on and on about you like I understood you. I…have no right to do that. I wouldn’t even blame you if you hate everyone in this world.” I clenched my fists on my knees.
“I don’t hate you nor the people here.”
“But!” ‘You suffered because you were created.’
“You didn’t know I was real, Rai-chan. True, I was overwhelmed at first, even a little murderous. But when I finally think with a cool head. It was pretty strange.”
“Strange?”
“Yep. Though the story itself is pretty similar, not all of them are the same. The details are a little bit off. For example, Yuji went to fight a cursed womb on May 27th, it was sunny, but the story depicted it was raining.”
“Does that mean…”
“Parallel world.” He said. “My world and the world depicted in the book might be parallel to each other. Our worlds have the same history, and run on the same course, but not entirely the same. I don’t know how the creator saw this world. But I actually feel lucky that I was sent here.” He smiled.
“Why?”
“Because I can meet you. A cute girl who is simping for me.” He giggled.
“~~~~ Please don’t tease me.” I pouted.
“Another reason is, the book gave me a lot of future insight. Though my world might not unfold like what was depicted in a book. It was enough to take precautions. Especially if Geto Suguru's corpse is wandering out there.” Gojo-san said.
“Do you know the way home?”
“I know. I just need to use my hollow purple on the boundary between worlds.”
“The boundary between world, you mean a boundary between living world and afterlife? That one?”
“Yep. I will twist the boundary to open the path back to my world. But I need the strongest boundary. The place where people strongly believe connected to afterlife.”
“People believe crossing Sanzu river to reach afterlife. So, you have to cross a river?”
“That’s right.” He nodded.
“You have found it?”
“Yeah. I have one in mind.”
“Oh…” I nodded slowly. “When are you going home?” I asked softly.
“Tonight.” He said.
“Can I send you off?” I muttered.
“If you want.”
“Okay…” I nodded again. “…about that cursed spirit…”
“That was because of me.”
“Because of you?” I looked at him.
“You knew that when I was born, the balance tip a little to the side.”
“Yes. It was said like that.”
“That was not an exaggerating fact. But this world where cursed spirit couldn’t possibly be formed suddenly pop out. It’s also because of my influence. My cursed energy was giving form to those thoughts. That’s why I couldn’t linger long here.” He finished.
“Is…that so…?” I don’t know what should I talk about anymore.
“Rai-chan, let’s have dinner. You haven’t eaten, right?”
“Are you going to cook?” I blinked.
“I will try.” He shot me a grin.
“I will help then.” This is the last night we will spend together, the fondest memories I would ever had. ~”~
Gojo-san bring me to the place he mentioned. An abandoned bridge with a dried river under it. “I am going then…” He whispered.
“Yeah…” I nodded. Gojo-san walks a few steps and stops suddenly.
“Rai-chan, want to come with me?”
“I…” My eyes widened. I take steps forward and extend my hand to hold him, but… I decided not to go. “I…can’t…” I shook my head and his eyes dimmed.
“If I go with you, I will become your most prominent weakness. Those higher-ups won’t ever let this chance go. I… don’t want to put you in that position.” I gave him a smile. “Gojo-san, you have a goal, don’t you? You will change the jujutsu world’s regulations. You still can’t stop here because of me.”
“Yeah… that’s right.” He nodded. Yes, He, Gojo Satoru still need to accomplish his goal. So, no other Geto Suguru will be born. He knew that in his mind, but his body refused to let go of her. He doesn’t want to part with her. That’s why he spent longer than he needed to. He knew love was nothing but trouble, but still, he couldn’t help but fell in love. That’s why…
Gojo-san stops in front of me. “Rai-chan.” He called and I looked up to him due to my small stature. And he crashes his lip into mine, hungry, wild, passionate and devouring. It took my breath away.
“Go…jo…-san…”
“It’s Toru, Rai-chan.”
“Toru-san…” I repeated his name, still in daze because of the kiss.
“I am sorry I couldn’t give you everything.”
“It’s okay. You gave me more than enough.” I smiled. “That’s why I will send you off with a smile.” I blinked back my tears.
“Thank you.” He pulled me into a long kiss. The last kiss we will share. And then, he was gone… back to his world, where he belongs, as the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, Gojo Satoru.
I linger there a little longer and then go back to my apartment. To my surprise that all my Gojo Satoru merchandise changed into FGO Saber Prototype. Panicked, I call Yae and tell her about this strange phenomenon.
“What are you talking about? Jujutsu Kaisen? Gojo Satoru? Did they make an anime with that title?” Yae said.
“Eh?”
“Moshi Moshi, Rai-chan.”
“Sorry, I will call you back later.” I hung up and surfed the whole internet for Jujutsu Kaisen, but there was no result as if it was never existed to begin with. The reality finally sinks in. “He…didn’t even leave something for me to be remembered.” I sighed sadly, my finger touching my lips, where I can still faintly feel the kiss. ~”~
It has been a few months since the whole ordeal of meeting Gojo Satoru. Sometimes, I wonder if that was all a dream. But one thing that remained is the wallpaper of my lock screen. The first picture I took of him at anime convention.
“You are sighing again.” Yae frowned.
“Sorry.” I smiled sheepishly. Not even Yae remembers about that, only me. She said we did go to anime convention, but I bought Saber Proto merchandise instead of Gojo Satoru.
“You are often in daze lately.”
“I just have a lot to process. Don’t worry, I will be back as usual soon.” I said.
“if you are not okay, then don’t hide it.” Yae sighed. “I don’t know what happened, but I will be here to listen.”
“Thank you, Yae.” I smiled. I am truly grateful for her constant company. “Let’s go. You said you wanted to buy an antique vase.”
“Yeah, my father’s birthday is near.” She nodded, so the two of us decided to shop for his gift. Yae’s father is an antique maniac. So, here we are.
While Yae is busy looking for a vase, I wander alone in the shop and found something ominous. It’s clearly leaking an ominous aura like that cursed spirit that time and I was reminded once again that what happened was real. This thing shouldn’t be put here. I should buy it and throw it far away from human civilization. With my mind made up, I bought that thing.
“I bought it.” I looked at the antique object. “Let’s toss this away tomorrow.” I then chose to sleep early. ~”~
“Hmm…” It’s cold and hard and sandy. ‘Weird, my bed shouldn’t be this hard.’ I cracked open my eyes and met with ground and grasses instead of my room. “What?!” I jumped, looking at my surrounding. I can see I am in some kind of temple-like place, but it’s outside.
“No, wait. It was night and I slept on my bed in my apartment, and then…” Something rolled on the ground. It’s that antique I bought. It was small and round, the size was like a crystal ball, but it was made of bronze with intricate design.
“I feel unknown cursed energy from here.” Familiar trio appeared.
“…Eh?” I blinked.
“Is this big sister a cursed user? She doesn’t look like it.” Yuji frowned.
“This woman…”
“Kugisaki?”
“Her pyjama is nice.”
“Eh?” Yuji blinked owlishly.
“Who are you? how can you enter this place? This is private property.” Megumi spoke up.
“…Actually, I also don’t know…” I said meekly. “I bought that thing and then when I woke up, I was already here.” I pointed to the bronze ball.
“…There is a trace of cursed energy.” Megumi picked it up. “Where did you buy it?”
“…That’s…” ‘How do I tell them… that I am from another universe? They will definitely dub me as a crazy person.’
“Hey first years, why aren’t you in the classroom? Are you guys bullying your teacher now?” A familiar pouty voice said. “I will have to pu…nish…”
“Hello, Toru-san…” I smiled awkwardly. It was so quick that I couldn’t react before I was squished into a tight embrace.
“Rai-chan… Are you really… Rai-chan?”
“…un…” I nodded.
“Who’s that?” Yuji whispered.
“Sensei’s girlfriend?” Nobara replied.
“Last time I checked he doesn’t have any girlfriend,” Megumi said.
“Then must be his new girlfriend,” Yuji concluded.
“But isn’t it strange? Why would she come here in pyjama?” Megumi frowned.
‘We are still in front of his students!!!’ I tried to pull away, keyword, tried. “…Toru-san…?” The response I got is getting hug tighter. “Toru-san, you are still in front of the students!” I flailed my arms.
“Kids, this is my girlfriend, Hisaki Raika.” He suddenly introduced me to them like that.
“Eh?” The trio and I blinked.
“Why is she surprised?” Yuji titled his head.
“Because this is the first time I am hearing about this!!!” I cried.
“Well, you like me and I like you. We even kissed already, so of course you are now my girlfriend, right?” Toru-san spoke as if it was the most natural thing about it.
“No wait. Let me process this…” My eyes swam.
“Then, kids, Principal Yaga will substitute for me. I need to take care of some things first.” He said and we teleported. ~”~
“Have you calmed down?” I was seated on the sofa.
“A little…” I nodded.
“Hmmm…you sure?” Toru-san scooted closer. So close that our legs are touching.
“To…Toru-san…” I called timidly.
“Hm?” he hummed.
“Ca-can you sit a little further…”
“…Are you that uncomfortable…?”
“Be-because when I am near you…. My…my heart is beating so fast that I think it will explode!!!” I blurted.
At that time what’s running in Gojo’s head is, ‘What’s this cute creature? Is it allowed to be this cute? Can I eat her now?’
“Then…” I practically feel the teasing in his tone. “Let’s do this.” I was moved to his lap and he put his chin atop my head. “I remember you like this so much.”
“!!!!” I let out a small squeak as I sat frozen in place. Unlike the first and second time. I can feel his hands intimately rubbing my hips. My heart is really going to explode!!!!
“Y…y…you…” My eyes swam again. “Are you sure you want me to be your girlfriend?!!”
“Rai-chan…” Toru-san gently turned me around.
“I…I mean… I told you that I am very high maintenance and low return. If… if you suddenly got bored of me… I… I don’t think I can handle it… And I am also weak. I don’t know how to exorcise cursed spirits. And I also will become your weakness. I don’t like that the most…” By this time, I already sniffling. “And, I am a crybaby…” I sniffled.
“You are worth it.” He said it seriously. “You are worth the trouble.” He guided my hands to pull down his blindfold. “Rai-chan, I only want you. For you, I am ready to stake my everything. That day, I couldn’t give you my everything. Even after coming back here, I couldn’t stop thinking about those what-ifs. But now, I can. I will give you my everything, so stay beside me.”
“Toru…-san…”
“Besides, all those high maintenance you said were not that bad. I am very clingy too, I like to stick beside you and you like to cling to me. Aren’t we a perfect match?” He grinned. “Though there won’t be a relationship without a fight, we can solve it together. We just need to communicate. We can learn from each other.”
“I…am not the brightest, you might find it annoying to explain things to me,” I mumbled.
“You know, Rai-chan. When you talk to me, all I notice is how soft your lips are. I think I didn’t listen to 90% of what you said. I only think how it will look like if I kiss you senseless.”
“~~~~~~~”
“So, let’s stop searching for what won’t work. Let’s try us.” He whispered as his nose touched mine.
“…un…” I nodded slowly. A wide smile blooms on his face.
“Good, now I need to make an ID for you and a phone too. Oh, by the way, how did you come here?”
“Ah, that’s…” I explained to him about the strange object that leaked the cursed energy and also about how Jujutsu Kaisen or anything related to it vanished right after he went back.
“I see. Though I don’t know why it vanished, that thing you bought must be the one who brought you here. But Rai-chan, you shouldn’t casually buy a strange object like that. What if that thing killed you.” He scolded.
“I was going to throw it away in an uncivilized place the next day. When I woke up, I was already here.” I smiled.
“Really… I am glad that it took you right in Jujutsu High. If it was somewhere I don’t know…” he sighed.
“Sorry…”
“Where is that thing?”
“Ah… I left it in Jujutsu High.”
“Well, I think I should tell Principal Yaga about this.”
“Should I go to?”
“Rai-chan, you stay here first. I don’t think you want to go out with a pyjama.” He grinned.
“Ah…” It was then I realized he was right.
“Fufufu. Rai-chan is still cute like this.” He kissed my cheek. “Then, I am going back to school.”
“Okay, be careful.” I smiled and there he went.
I look at the clock showing it’s 3 p.m. and I definitely need a bath, desperately. I padded around the house. It was a simple, luxury house. There’s one master bedroom, one guest room, and a big-sized living room complete with a kitchenette. There is also a garage. It’s very comfortable here.
The only bathroom is in the master bedroom. So, yep, I have my warm bath there. It helped me a lot to sort my thoughts. It finally sinks in that I am whisked away to another universe. I wonder what happened back in my own universe? Will I be reported as a missing person…or…anything related to me will vanish? Just like Jujutsu Kaisen? To be honest, I won’t miss my family since we are not in a really good term. Every day I will hear how much better that neighbouring kid was, how my brother was a golden child to them. I was so sick of it. It’s fine if I won’t be able to see them for the rest of my life. But if I really can’t go back. I want to at least say goodbye to Yae and my colleagues. They are all nice people. Manager hired me even though I have zero knowledge in serving beverages. They patiently taught me how to mix the drink, even baking.
I am torn between vanishing completely or being remembered. If I truly vanish as if I don’t exist, I will be truly alone in these worlds… “This must be what Toru-san felt back then…. Stranded alone in a strange place with no friends, no family and no colleagues.” I sighed. “I feel lonely…” I sobbed. ~”~
“What should I do?” I looked at the pile of dirty clothing. There’s nothing to be changed into. “Should I wear towel until my pyjama dries?” I mumbled. That might not be the best idea. Even though I am alone right now, I will still be embarrassed to death. Not to mention, I want to start cooking dinner, it’s a bit early, but I am hungry. It’s a chore to move around with only a towel. “Should I borrow Toru-san’s shirt? He’s still out, right? it will be fine as long as I changed back before he got home. Okay, let’s go with that.” I nodded.
Now, I am making dinner with whatever leftover ingredients he had. I made potato salad for me to eat now and omurice for dinner later with Toru-san. “Then, it’s done.” I sprinkled some finely chopped green on top of the omelette. “Now, let’s put these on table…” I grinned as I moved the plates onto the dining table.
“Rai-chan! I am home!” Toru-san’s energetic voice echoed.
“Oh, Welcome back.”
“Rai-chan, I finished your…ID…” He suddenly went silent.
“Toru-san, what’s wrong?” I became worried because he suddenly went silent like that. “Are you hurt? Let me see. Wait, where did I see a first aid kit box?” I went into a panic mode.
“Rai-chan, I am fine. I am not hurt.” Toru-san’s voice brought me back to reality.
“Really? You are not lying?” I asked again.
“Yep. Rather than that, Rai-chan…”
“Yes?”
“Is that my shirt?”
“…yes…?” I blinked. “…Oh…oh!” It finally dawned on me I was still wearing his shirt. “I am sorry, I washed my pyjama. I was thinking of staying with only a towel, but I want to make dinner and it was not comfortable moving around with towel. I borrowed this until my pyjama dries. I will also clean this. No wait, I will pay for it. Oh, I better change it now.” I babbled. “And I will also pay for the things I used in bathroom. Please wait until I got a job first.”
‘What should I do? Should I just dogeza now?’
“Eh?” I was lifted up and easily transferred onto the bed. “Eh?” Toru-san is pinning me underneath him. “To…To…Toru-san.”
‘We teleported?!!!!’
“!!!!” In no time, his lips are on top of mine. “To…Toru-san…?” Toru-san has already pulled his blindfold down.
“I told you I would give my everything to you.” He rasped. “Everything in this house is also yours. Whatever you want to use, you can use it to your heart's content. That includes wearing my shirt.”
“No, but…”
“You should totally make my shirts as your pyjama from now on. I have a lot.” I felt his hand sliding up to my thigh and he froze. “Rai-chan…” He groaned. “Were you planning to seduce me from the start?”
“No!!!” I squealed.
“You aren’t wearing…anything underneath.” From the sound of his tone, it’s like he is battling with himself.
“I washed my underwear too.” I cried out. “I don’t know you came back this quick. If I had known, I will wear it even though it’s still damp.”
“So, can I eat you now?”
“Why does it become like this?!”
“You see…” He pressed something hard onto my stomach.
“!!!!!” My whole body is being steamed. It’s flushing with beautiful red colour.
“And I am hungry too.” He gave me a rakish grin.
“O-omurice!!!!” I shouted.
“Omu…rice…?”
“I made omurice for dinner. If you are hungry, eat that. And, I also haven’t eaten anything yet. So, I am hungry…” My voice gets smaller and smaller.
“…Okay…” He relented. “We’ll eat dinner first.” He said. I sigh in relief, “But.”
“But?”
“You are not allowed to change that out.” He grinned cheekily. “And of course no putting anything on, that includes your underwear.”
“What?”
“I will eat you up right here and now if you do that.”
“Toru-san!!!!!” ~”~
So, here I am, in the living room, eating dinner with him. ‘What kind of shame play is this?’ This didn’t bother me before, but now I am aware that I am not alone anymore and Toru-san keeps grinning and shamelessly checking me every chance he gets. I am starting to feel hot and bothered.
“…I think it’s still better for me to put-“
“No.” Came his quick reply.
“But, what if I…stain…”
“Then, come here, sit on my lap. You can stain me for all I care.” He grinned wider.
“…uuu…” I am embarrassed to death. ~”~
“We finished dinner. So, it’s time for exercise.” Here I was again, teleported on the bed for the second time.
“Toru-san!!!!”
“What? I followed your request to eat dinner first, I even took a shower.” He pouted.
“That’s not the problem here!!!”
“So, what’s the problem?” He tilted his head.
“…That’s…”
“Do you not want to? Am I going too fast?” He frowned.
“It…It’s a little fast…” I admitted. “I…I am afraid that my body is not to your expectation.” I covered my face with my hands.
“…Why would you think that?” He frowned. “What do you think my type is?”
“…Someone with a sexy dynamite body?”
“…hey, cutie, look at me.” Toru-san pried open my hands. “You are pretty, beautiful inside out. And that’s a fact. I love everything about you, however your body is. The first thing I thought about you when we met is how cute you were. You are the most adorable in these two worlds. If someone were to say otherwise, they can say goodbye to the living world.”
“That’s going too far.”
“I don’t care.” Toru-san rolled his eyes. “You are worth it all, didn’t I tell you that before?” He smiled. “Well, this is also my job as your boyfriend to make you love yourself. I will love you so much that you won’t be able to think about those useless things anymore. I will keep reminding you how beautiful you are.” He traced my lips. ~”~
“…” I felt feather touches on my face and hair. “…umm…” I cracked open my eyes and see Toru-san’s visage. “…It was not a dream?” I mumbled.
“Well, I can remind you about last night if you would like to.” He grinned.
“!!!!” That woke me up and jolted me upright. I let out a small yelp due to the soreness in my lower body.
“You should rest for today. I think I went a little overboard yesterday.” He giggled.
“…I can’t even move now.” I glared at him with resentment.
“No worries, I take a day off today. I can help you with anything, including bathing you.” He sent a wicked smile to me. “And after that, we are going to shop.”
“I can’t go out.” I shook my head.
“It’s using this, silly.” He opened his laptop and showed me shopping websites. They are all branded items, at least I think so, because branded store usually has their own websites.
“It’s too expensive.” I frowned.
“It’s fine. You deserve the best. Come here.” Again, he put me on his lap and put his chin atop my head. “Money is to be used. And since I have a lot, it’s natural I spend it on you.”
“…I feel bad taking your money like that. I can work too.”
“But Rai-chan, you only have a pyjama now. Even if you want to apply for work, you should have other clothes.”
“…that’s…”
“Just buy some, okay? If you aren’t picking anything. I will just dump all of these into the cart. I know your size anyway.”
“Toru-san!!!” I looked at him horrified, hoping he was only joking. But nope. He is already clicking adding to cart. “Okay, I will pick some. Don’t put everything in the cart.” I cried.
“Okay, you pick.” He nodded, satisfied. In the end, I pick some, I think around 6 pieces and some underwear, but Toru-san protested saying it was not enough. And he helped me pick some. His some equal to enough to fully occupied big sized wardrobe.
“Toru-san, it’s too much.” I pouted. “And why did you cancel my pyjamas?”
“You don’t need pyjamas. You only need my shirts. And I have thrown out that one.” He referred to the pyjama I wore.
“But it’s your shirts, you need to wear them to teach, don’t you?”
“Exactly, so I can smell you for the rest of my working time.”

Four Seasons Figthusiast One Year Anniversary!
Hard to believe it's been a year since I started posting the wide world of Word of Honor and Gong Jun / Zhang Zhehan figs. So far, I've posted a total of:
340 posts - almost all of these were figs. In there we had a few doll posts, a few merch posts, and a couple Junzhe fandom musings
492 figs - many of these were posted in pairs
31 scenes - mostly dioramas
In honor of the anniversary, I've compiled video of all my fig posts this year. I'm neither a good photographer or a good videographer, but I had fun making this and reminiscing.
Turn the music up if you can - I've set it to some of the happiest live sets I have from our favorites!
Here's the Master Index of Posts year to date, if you want to catch up on any of them.
So what's in store for the next year for Four Seasons Figthusiast? Well, I need to post as much as I can because my backlog of figs (and dioramas) continues to rise! I also have a lot more doll posts coming due to an influx of new doll outfits. Speaking of which, I'm about to head out on vacation in the next few days. I can't take figs due to fragility concerns, but ... I can take dolls. So, stay tuned for the international adventures of Junbaobao and Hanbao!
I'm also scheduled to start taking a formal Chinese class starting in the new year. It's mostly geared towards conversational Chinese, which is fine since I really want to be able to understand the interviews and various variety show appearances. I do also hope it will help me with interpreting some of these fig names. I'm historically really bad at languages (I dropped out of French 101 like 3 times in college), but I've really enjoyed what little I've managed to learn of Chinese so far in my basic combo of Duolingo/Hello Chinese. I'll probably throw a few update posts on how that's going next year as well.
I also have been meaning to post my Word of Honor costume pictures - that'll happen sooner rather than later! The costumes were my gateway into merch madness, and they're incredible. I can't wait to share them!
This fandom continues to be, despite everything, a deep source of joy and happiness for me. Sometimes it feels like the world is short on both, so I love and appreciate Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan for the gifts they have given us: this wonderful show and their own bright selves. I love and appreciate all the fan makers in China, who have poured their own love and care into these figs and dolls and merch of all kinds. This fandom makes me happy, and has helped me get through some tough times in the last few years. I also love and appreciate my readers - thank you for taking the time out of your day to read these posts. My hope is that this blog can be a small spot of joy in the day to you as well.
Tumblr media
As I've said before, I'm not going anywhere. I'm looking forward to this next year of posting on my blog, and looking forward to the golden sunrise.

past anon who talked about the alex's first priority being money/funds and who is apparently based to you (hola :D👋)
after reading back my ask i realize that i may have come off as a little bit harsh (not as harsh as you french fans, you guys are BRUTAL) i wrote most of it in a burst of frustration at the whole admin thing lol.
i don't think alex is some disney villian who is twirling his mustache as he watches on his past workers cry out of frustration because of the lack of communication. he just isn't as experienced when it comes to these kinds of things.
he's doing what he thinks is best from his lawyer studies, don't gave out any info that isn't 100% guaranteed, anything that comes with money is a huge legal problem and must be fixed as first, those type of things.
everyone that has known alex personally has said that he's a genuinely sweet guy (well, except his some of his workers but doesn't even have a relationship with them because of the lack of communication LMAO /coping) i don't think any of his current actions are done out of malicious intent or whatever.
all of his recent streams are probably a way to earn money and the whole egg merch is probably for even more money (the bio of the acc literally says that it is ''the best way to fund qsmp'') (i've already talked about my opinions on that)
the whole not communicating is so ''he doesn't make false promises'' and also, so he doesn't get sued. (understand where he is coming from but huge disagree)
the not having ways of contacting him via twt isn't done as a result of this situation, he deleted twt some time ago (very unfortunate timing, like, 2 days before lea's statements. he should've reinstalled it, but he doesn't need to anymore since he now has an email for when he needs to be contacted)
the events that are currently happening have been planned for months in advance (still think he should put them back a bit. i guess the german streamer is kinda understandable since he has apparently been waiting for like, 10 months?? still think he should've put it back)
i think what he wants is for when pomme's admin comes back for the work environment to be perfect but i still heavily disagree with his ways. the way he's going about it now is only going to lead to burnout from the workers :( none of what i said justifies the lack of communication btw. his actions come off as kinda tone-deaf right now.
although with the whole (understandable) anger from people about the twt admins + the union + jose's statements + the french's statements, i do think he will start actually communicating with his workers (he kinda has to with the whole jose thing, unless he wants all of qstudios garbage out in the public, which is like, a really bad thing for him)
unfortunately, i'm only based when i'm angry <3 so this is probably dogshit. but the problems in qstudios ARE fixable. (this is either gonna end up aging like milk or like fine wine. i hope it's the fine wine since i love qsmp and i'll probably completely give up on learning french/spanish if it doesn't)
holà again !
I personally didn’t think you were too harsh on your last ask, you had genuine concern about the course of his actions and it didn’t feel like you were attacking him or anything !
I don’t know Q personally obviously so I won’t speculate too much on what he’s thinking through this, but I agree with you that he probably isnt an evil guy and doesn’t have bad intentions with it.
However I still stand with the fact that he was at least negligent towards what was happening behind the scenes of his passion project and should’ve been more aware of the inner workings of the QSMP.
This isn’t an easy situation, especially with all the legal aspects (which should’ve been thought of beforehand btw) but I think everyone or at least most people who criticise what is going on are doing in first because they want the admins to be treated well but also because they want to trust that Q will do the right thing.
Admins and fans alike wouldn’t spend so much time getting updated on the situation and writing their thoughts if they didnt have at least some hope that things can be fixed.
Now it’s up to Qstudios to prove those who believe right and to prove those who lost trust (can’t blame them) wrong !

(The following was a reply I got from a conversation that started from this post. The response I got below was from a post I made to reply to the original conversation. I’m not @-ing the commenter and I blocked out their url b/c I don’t want this to become heated, and I don’t want them to get harassment of ANY kind. I’m such a small blog that there is so little chance of that happening, but I just DONT want to risk it. I’m vehemently against harassment of ANY kind, but I feel the below needs saying and I just had to explain the reason I made the initial postc and why I thought it was important to talk about:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well. This isn’t really about the story or the series. It’s not about Alastor’s characteristics or personality or how Hazbin’s plot progresses.
It’s about Black and Brown people’s voices being ignored and not taken seriously.
There is a group of people saying “you are taking a part of our culture and using it however you like and this is harmful to us. This is part of a larger trend that has been harmful to us in the past, please do not use our culture this way”, and their concerns about the depiction of their religion and culture are being ignored.
Now, no group is a monolith, and it’s more than possible there are Voudists who don’t mind their culture being used in media, but I’ve heard enough people from the culture say that this is bothering them and why—and I think it’s really important to listen to and empathize with them
I don’t believe that anyone from the creative team from the show meant any harm at all. But regardless of the intent, people have been saying that they don’t appreciate parts of their culture being used in the show since shortly after the Pilot came out, and for Hazbin’s official merch to still be using vévés and for Alastor to be referred to as being influenced by “hoodoo-voodoo” in interviews is extremely disrespectful.
Even if it was meant to be a tribute, black Vodouists have already been speaking out about Alastor since the Pilot, and requesting that their culture and vévés not be used. I don’t think they or I are jumping the gun when parts of their closed religion are already being used in promotional material.
The issue isn’t “the portrayal of Vodou by an outsider of the religion might be good, so we should wait and see” the issue is that people are asking for their religion, which is a closed practice, to be respected and not used by outsiders. And that request is being ignored.
I also have to say that I really don’t appreciate that you’re describing these concerns as “complaints”. It’s been pointed out to me that when racial minorities and people of color speak out about fandom racism and cultural appropriation, they’re almost always told that they’re “just complaining” or “nitpicking” or that they should just “be happy” or “grateful” for any representation they get.
I cannot imagine how frustrating that is.
This is not only about Hazbin Hotel. I brought it up because people were talking about the issue again due to the trading cards coming out. It’s just the latest example of racism and appropriation in fandom that has been a problem for a long long time.
Also. I try to assume positive intent when I can, but it’s really hard to read your last comment as anything but condescending.
The thing is, I’m okay with making mistakes. I’m okay with being seen as silly, because I’ve made a LOT of silly mistakes in my life. And I know I’ll make a lot more.
Maybe you think I’m being silly now, and that’s fine. You can think whatever you want about me.
But I don’t feel silly at least /trying/ to listen to and respect minority’s voices. Especially when they’re talking about what is and /isn’t/ okay to use from their cultures.
(Finally. Ugh. I worry that this comes off as being. Ugh. “Virtue-signal-y” I guess? But. I’ve also noticed that a lot of times when people, regardless of their race, sexuality, gender, or what issue they’re trying to talking about, people will call them “virtue-signalers” to shut them down.
And yeah, I think virtue signaling can happen…but I’m so tired of people using the term to shut down conversations about inequality and injustice. It feels like another way to say “you’re just complaining and nitpicking”. If talking about these issues and trying to listen to others makes me silly and a virtue signaler. I guess I’ll be a silly virtue signaler. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

Yo, hey, also, if you're an anxious and/or stressed LGBTQ+ person like myself, and like little games about tasks, like Stardew Valley or My Time at Portia or stuff like that, check out Hokko Life.
It's one of those cute little "do things" games, and there are some things about it that I really, really love:
In a lot of these games, there's a set town structure and cast of characters. In Hokko, there are some keystone elements. But each save file has a different "town area" map that you get to build and expand your little town into. There are two residents to begin with, other than you and the shopkeepers in the main town area (separate), and THOSE COULD BE DIFFERENT. From what I can tell, there are at least 4 possible starter residents, and you can get different combinations per save file.
The days are looooooooooong. This is different from Stardew, for example, where you can feel really pressed to "get everything done" in one day. In Hokko, you have PLENTY of time. And you have the option to take a li'l nap at your house if you want to, so you can skip 2 hours or 6 hours without losing the whole damn day. Or just...take a lil nap.
There are NO GENDER OPTIONS in character creator. You start with the same starter outfit, and have 100% of the starter customization options. Everyone calls you "they/them." A good number of the residents are "they/them." You are just...nonbinary/gender neutral/agender. Periodt.
You are the only humanoid. Everyone else is basically stuffed animals. The first folks you meet are a pink elephant who looks like she maybe has vitiligo and a giraffe with a general store who has extremely Dad Jokes Energy. There are all kinds of other interesting animal folks with different personalities. My game has a green emo/skater pig who seems like they might be a stoner and possibly vegan. Definitely cares about their carbon footprint.
Everything is SO CHILL. There's not really energy to manage or anything, you don't get hungry, you don't have to run around making sure you talk to everybody enough so you don't get less popular. Even if you fail a task for a resident...nothing bad happens. Or at least, that I can tell so far. Just like, whoops. Couldn't find that fish. Oh well. I can make you that paint, though. No worries. All good.
When you DO complete tasks, you get clothing items. And like...the first one I got was a "striped skirt" or something. And I was like, "Oh, that looks kinda-sorta-almost like a nonbinary pride flag. Cool." And then I got some yellow shoes, and a red jacket. And then a "Happy Knit Sweater," which was DEFINITELY ABSOLUTELY a trans pride flag pattern! And then a tee shirt with rainbow sleeves and a rainbow pocket? So like...THEY GIVE YOU LGBTQ+ PRIDE MERCH FOR YOUR LI'L NONBINARY PAL. And then I realized I very much had trans flag wallpaper in my house. 😂 I freaking love this.
You can MAKE YOUR OWN FURNITURE. There's a whole subset of customization and item creation where you can just...design your own furniture and decorative items from almost scratch. You unlock sets of shapes for the crafting & design table, and then you can go into a 3D design space and just...put some wooden spheres together however you want! Add a leaf shape! Put a brass "7" on it! Go crazy! And then you get to save your design and you can craft it again later if you want to make more, or sell them. It just...becomes an item in your game.
The music is super chill. Because of course.
The fishing system is good, for the way I like to play. It's very easy to see the fish, it's very easy to know when you need to "hook/catch," and following the system to reel in is easy to understand. It requires a little effort, it's not an auto-catch, but it's not stressful. It's a TASK, but not a HEADACHE. And you can do it without bait and still be fine.
There's a whole entire thing around catching butterflies. You can just frolic around all day in your pride-wear catching butterflies if you want. It's lovely.
You can save and exit at any point. SUPER IMPORTANT. Can't tell you how many times I've felt some stress about like, "AAAARRRGGGHHH, I have to get to a good spot to stop this Stardew day, or just start over again..." Nah. Hokko, you just hit escape, "Save & Exit." When you load up again, you'll be in your house, with the same stuff on hand/in your backpack.
I actually kinda also like that there doesn't seem to be a romance component? Like, that's neat and all when it is available, but I don't always want the townsfolk coming onto me just because I've given them sufficient eggs or whatever. I might have needed to do those quests to advance the plot, or get a new shovel or something. And maybe I'm not actually down to clown, homie.
Anyway, I'm thoroughly enjoying this game. Got it in the Steam Sale. I think it's not crazy expensive even regular price? My one issue that I'm running into is that the wiki for it is like...zero content. Or just not much in-depth stuff beyond the very bare basics for some of it. So when I want info or hit a snag, I been using Duck Duck Go on that biz, or hitting the Steam Forums. Not the worst thing in the world.

here's another slarpg Q&A roundup from my retrospring! this contains light spoilers for the game
in the past you've gone over how tall each of the main party are, so lemme ask you this instead: How tall are Beverly and Faith?
faith is 6'6". she is very tall. beverly's sprite is probably larger, but that's more a matter of NPC sprites generally being big rather than an indication of her actual height. i'd say she's only supposed to be around 6', give or take
What cartoons does pepper like
bartholomew only lets her watch ones that will be a bad influence on her like invader zim
We know Claire drinks, what about the rest of the Novas?
jodie and allison will drink some at social gatherings. melody tends not to, though, so if they're out together allison will usually limit herself so melody doesn't feel out of place
How do you feel about fanworks of slarpg? Specifically, which mediums would you be okay with fanworks existing in, and how do you feel about people using assets from the game?
fanworks of basically all kinds are encouraged! there's already a (very small) fangame about melody's cat in the works and i think that rules. considering my own roots as a fanartist and fangame creator i think it would be lame of me to discourage that
that being said, a few simple stipulations:
1) i ask people hold off on any sort of mass-produced merch like t-shirts or pins. custom items, commissioning someone to draw the cast, a small run of prints sold at a con table, etc. are fine by me, but i may end up making merch myself and bee and i need to make a living off of this game. when we're an operation this small, putting up a bunch of slarpg designs on redbubble could be a problem for me
2) please do not use visual assets from slarpg (including edits of my sprites) in a commercial product. using them in a mod or a freeware fangame is fine, though
3) if you do make a fangame or mod or whatever, please make sure it's clearly stated that it's unofficial, and also please don't just publicly distribute the entire game for free (modded or otherwise)
Between the 3 types of paladin Melody can become what one is the one that you pick for her?
i do a different one every playthrough >:)
From a story perspective, not a mechanical one: was polyamory ever a consideration for the party members in SLARPG? Can you see any polyamorous relationships working well between main-cast members, even if only for a little while?
i would be lying if i said this was a thing i had never considered, at least a little. it was never a serious plan for the game, but as the story and the character dynamics beyond the main couples evolved there were definitely scenes where i looked at what i'd written and went "oh people are gonna ship this, huh." i definitely see it in my own writing, believe me
the main thing is just that i don't entirely know how i would go about writing poly relationships in a satisfying way. for one i've never been part of a poly relationship, so i can't write from my own experiences there. but also i feel my strongest writing tends to focus on pairs of characters (hence all the one-on-one scenes in slarpg), so it becomes trickier when, for example, a character has two partners. i'd worry about making one more important than the other in terms of narrative focus just because of how i write. i could easily see a version of events where certain characters start dating certain other characters on top of their canon partners, though. i just don't know if it's something that i'd ever really explore myself
but i guess that's what fanfic is for
what's your favorite joke in SLARPG that got left on the cutting room floor?
i really wanted to find a way to make "irony poisoning" a status ailment but could never figure out a good way to do so
how long has claire been on hrt?
i actually couldn't say if claire is on hormones. if she is it hasn't been for as long as melody (who's been on hrt for several years by the start of the game)
I noticed your game seems very deliberate on exactly how it approaches the topic of sex and suggestive content. Obviously it wanted to avoid being "horny furry bait game." But, it also avoided being aggressively chaste as well. It struck a careful balance, where it gives the impression that it's something characters do and think about, but isn't the focus of the story so it stays incidental. Was there ever much consideration on the exact tone in this regard? Or did you just do what felt like a good fit?
this was absolutely something i thought about a LOT. perhaps more than people realize!
i mean for one, yes, the problem of people assuming the game was just furry porn based on the title was always an issue. (not that there's anything wrong with furry porn games, this just isn't one.) the game's origins as a successor to an old fangame also presented an issue, because i was worried that people who knew about the old project but hadn't actually played it might, like, assume that it was extremely horny if i pushed things in slarpg too far? which could, in turn, color peoples' perception of slarpg. they're very distinct projects to me, but i'll never escape the reductive perception of them being Literally The Same Game
at the same time, i started work on the game at age 21 and finished it almost age 29, and in that period my feelings about what i wanted to make and also the attitudes in the wider queer community shifted a lot. there's been pushback against the idea that queer media always needs to be "wholesome" and "pure," with conflicting attitudes about the "wholesome games" marketing label in the indie scene mixing with very valid fears about puritanism growing in the queer community online - stuff like the perpetual "kink at pride" fearmongering. and i didn't want to be seen as being part of some push to erase the sex from sexuality or whatever. even beyond that, i've always kind of rankled at the "cute aesthetic = wholesome" thing. i worried about the idea that the game was "wholesome" and all fluff leading to people getting upset at the more intense parts of the story. and also, just, you know. the characters are all in their 20s. i think it would be weird if they didn't know what sex or alcohol or swear words or whatever were. i think they'd become less relatable and real if it was too sanitized
but of course the flipside is that it's a 16-bit jrpg throwback game and i was absolutely overthinking how much people expected adult themes to be touched upon, queer subject matter or no. i think i struck a good balance in the end where it's lightly acknowledged without disrupting the expected tone of the genre. i'm glad it's speaking to people
(why yes i struggle with RSD how can you tell)
How seriously does Allison take caring for her sword(s)? As an unabashed ADHD sword lesbian myself I gotta say it's a not insignificant amount of (very fulfilling) work.
i think her natural inclination would be to be a little careless with them, but countless lectures from jodie have instilled a sense of responsibility in her when it comes to taking proper care of her weapons
I ask this with no weird intentions - characters like Melody and Jodie have no paw pads on their hands, but do they have them on their feet?
you know what? sure. why not
how did faith get such a big job at 24? did she know someone... is there nepotism in this world. I demand accountability.
faith was always an overachiever and was basically training throughout her teens and early 20s to become guardian. when she put herself out there as a candidate she was already generally popular with the community for her skill with magic and her work ethic, so it wasn't hard for her to win the election in a small town like greenridge
Were there any plans during development for Allison or the other two to meet or confront Harmony in the Astral Plane? Or was she always just meant to be exclusive to Melody's character arc?
the entirety of what was planned for harmony is there in the game
is the city shown in the intro supposed to be brightport?
not necessarily! the identity of the city in the intro is unspecified, although brightport definitely looks something like that
Jodie’s theme from when she was gonna be a dog (apparently?) has a very different feel to it. Was her puppysona a very different character than the danger kitten? Or was her intro in the story simply different?
i was still just figuring out jodie as a character at the time - both her design AND her personality - so bee didn't have the most complete information to work off of when trying to write the fourth character theme
i think initially she was going to perhaps be somewhat more brash, being the one Actually Qualified Adventurer on the team who's surprised that her friends made it so far without her, and she would've been exasperated with claire's shenanigans instead of enabling them. she was also intended to be more of a foil to melody, seeming to be (from melody's perspective) the person everyone compares her to. which might be why i thought to make her a canid? this juxtaposition between the two is still an element in the game, but it's more subtle and i rarely draw direct attention to it. and she was intended to be much more bullheaded, with her arc revolving around her running off and picking a fight that really didn't need to be picked off-screen to set up a side quest that was completely cut
obviously a lot of this doesn't sound very much like jodie at all! she was the character i struggled to nail down the most. if she was too brash and critical of claire's decisions then she'd have way too much overlap with allison, so instead she became claire's best friend who's supportive and trusting to a fault, and who's also the most earnest and straightforward member of the team

Uramichi Omota x reader
Reader works in the merch/marketing department. Requested over on ao3!
You work in the marketing department of the studio, so of course you see all the designs and such for merchandise. However, one merchandise design in particular caught both you and Kikaku’s eye, but not in a very good way. When you saw it, you both looked at each other, then back at it, then back at each other. And when you found out who the original designer was, that made things a little easier for you two.
However, one thing led to another, and you walked into the room to let Kikaku know that you were about to leave, and you found that he had Uramichi tied up to a chair with one arm free. You had to take a moment to process what you were seeing, looking back between both boys.
“Kikaku.”
“Yes?”
“Why is he tied up?”
“Okay, so, do you remember when we found out who designed that thing we were supposed to make a crap ton of?”
“Yeah?”
“Well! Turns out, he works right here in this same studio! I called him over here and well, thats that. So if you could… keep an eye on him for me, that would be great!” Before you object to this, however, he was already walking out the door.
“Wha-?! Don’t leave us here, Kikaku!” You sighed softly and turned to face Uramichi.
“I’m so sorry about him, I wasn’t expecting him to just… tie you up like this.”
“No, it’s fine, not like I had anything else planned for tonight..”
“Let me at least untie you..” you made your way over to him, untying him.
“I don’t want you getting in trouble because of me.”
“Oh don’t worry about me. He may be a little… unhinged at times, but he’s really sweet a lot of the time.”
“Uh huh..” he didn’t sound too convinced, which made you chuckle a bit.
“Well.. once you get to know him, he’s really nice.” You pulled up a chair, once you were done untying him, avoiding the plushies on the ground.
“If you want, I can stay here with you?”
“You don’t have to do that, uh… I don’t think I caught your name,”
“Oh! It’s Y/n.” You sat down in the chair you had pulled up as he stretched his arms, as if to get feeling back in them, especially the arm that had been tied up.
“You really don’t have to stay here, Y/n, I don’t want to keep you awake.”
“I don’t really mind, I don’t really have much else to do either.” You shrugged. “Besides, I would feel bad if I left you here by yourself.” He went quiet after that, going back to working on his little drawing. It was quiet for a little while, but it was a comfortable silence. Though after a while, you did manage to strike up a conversation with him, talking to him throughout the rest of the night, getting to know the other a little better.
“Well, uh, we’ve been here all night, huh?” You yawned softly, resting your head on the desk.
“Yeah, it looks it.” Uramichi sighed and looked back at you, feeling a bit bad that you had stayed here all night with him, even if he didn’t show it on his face. He was brought out of his thoughts as he heard that your breathing had slowed down, indicating that you had fallen asleep.
“Oh, Y/n..” he stood up, went over to you, and gently picked you up, bringing you over to the couch in the room, and gently set you down. Though he was pretty tired himself, he didn’t want you to sleep on the hard table, he turned to leave, but glanced back at you.
“…I’ll see you around, Y/n.” He mumbled before leaving the room to get sleep as well.
And you two did see each other more often, you would occasionally check up on him after recording sessions, he would come and find you in the marketing department room working on new designs for merchandise, and you two would chat for a while, catch up on what’s going on.
Of course, everyone in the studio started to notice how close you two have gotten, noticing you two leave together occasionally, and they’ve definitely noticed how much… happier Uramichi has been lately since he started hanging around you. He still has his moments, though.
You may or may not have also developed feelings for Uramichi, and vice versa for him, but you haven’t mentioned it to anyone, and neither has he. However, Kikaku and a few others have definitely noticed how you act around him, and have caught on to your feelings.
“Y/n, when are you going to confess to him?” Kikaku suddenly asked you when you walked into your shared office.
“What?” You had to take a moment to process his words, before shaking your head, a very faint blush on your face. “I.. it’s not like that, we’re just friends..!”
“Uh-huh… Y/n, you’ve got it bad. We’ve all seen how you act around him. You’re so happy and you make him happy, and it’s only a matter of time before either of you confess.”
“Sure, sure, keep thinking that.” You went to your desk to start on your work, not knowing what he had in mind.
The rest of the day went by normally, you and Kikaku just talked about whatever else came to mind as you two worked, occasionally throwing ideas around for merchandise and other things, while plushies were also being thrown around since there were so many of them.
You were getting ready to leave for the day, when you heard Kikaku calling for you. Curious, you went over to where you had heard his voice. Though there is no sight of him, but one thing, or rather, person, caught your attention.
“Uramichi?” You went over to him, seeing that he was in the same predicament as the first time you met.
“Well… this is rather familiar, huh?” You shook your head and started untying him.
“Did he tell you what this was all about?” You asked him.
“Told me it had something to do with you… and feelings.” Oh that bastard wanted you to confess so badly he had to do this?? Oh you were going to get him back for this.
“I am… so so sorry he dragged you into this.”
“No, it’s okay, Y/n. I do have a question for you, though.” You glanced back at him, giving him a look of ‘go on’ as you continue to untie him.
“Do you… have feelings for me? Is that what this is all about?”
“Huh?” you had to stop what you were doing, a light blush on your face now. “W..well, uh, I…” before you could say anything else, he cut you off,
“Because if you do… not only would I be absolutely surprised that you would have feelings for me of all people, but… I would be happy… if you did.” Wait a minute. He basically just confessed his feelings for you.
“You.. have feelings for me?” A silent nod followed your question.
“Oh, Uramichi..” you had finished untying him at this point, a faint smile on your face. “I feel the same way.”
“Do you really?”
“I do. That’s… what this whole thing was about, and again I am so sorry he quite literally roped you into this.”
“Well.. at least one good thing happened from this. Besides, we can get back at him later.”
“That is true, and you bet that I will get back at him for this. Now come on, let’s get out of here.” You helped him up, now walking out of the studio, hand-in-hand. While you were going to get Kikaku back for this, you were silently thanking him for helping you at the same time.
