thinking about it I absolutely adore how they set up Percy touching the tomb because not only does it parallel what happened on stream with the saving throws but it’s also SO IN CHARACTER for Percy! because like Vax tells the group not to fuck with anything before he checks the room and that’s all perfectly logical and I’m betting Percy even agrees with the statement in general but thinks it doesn’t count for him. Like, he’s the smart one! The rest of these idiots should probably stand still at the center of the room, especially Grog, but if Percy finds a hidden button that reveals an ancient tomb it’s fine. Vax wasn’t really talking to him, after all. And then the allure of doing something kinda naughty (with Vex no less) means he can’t stop himself and it has devastating consequences.
