Still a work in progress but my little art wall side of the new room is coming together and im in love with it 😍 i be feelin myself so much more with the new space 🥰

#personal #selfie #punk #pretty #grunge #most of the items are either: -handmade by me #-handmade by local artists #-given to me as gifts from people i love/d #-found on trips to new places with people i love/d #-thrifted or gotten from local small business markets #so yeah im pretty fucken happy with how its turning out. some of the corners need more art and i will make it #as soon as i figure out what i want and where. ive half made the next one for the space next to the door above that plague nurse print #by valeriadarkmoth on etsy incase you wondered but its gonna be a family heirloom silver bracelet as a frame for some skeleton print #lesggings ive cut up and come little red and black beads and skull beads as tassels #really do feel like the tiger with the best enclosure when i look around this room made with stuff i love and memories that mean the most #its so cool. as a crafter i make lots of stuff all the time but its really cool to finally see it all out and be able to look around and #be like. yo damn i made like 60%-70% of all of this im so talented fuck yes go me. and other artists made the rest? this room rules #and yeah. i feel like an elegant rich old vampire queen within here ok? and yeah thats partly because im part vampire but the vibes #the vibes in this space are immaculate and they make me feel good as a person too. its so very much just made of stuff i love and has #worked out to be cohesive and fucking beautiful from every angle #the floortime spots have their own interesting shelves of sentimental trinkets and handmade goods to peep at from that view #ive never been more in love with a space. ive been nervous to post it and its still not done but i really am so in love with what ive built #i built it for me. of my stuff and my memories. its no one elses and i actually genuinely dont care if you dont like it because after years #of abuse. i built this. by myself. for me. i didnt just hang some shit i made most of it. for me. its mine and i did it myself.#chose which memories of people i love still get to be in this home. i choose the light and the heat and i choose that no bad energies may #enter my space without my permission ever again. my fortress of trinkets filled with love that remind me i am safe now #its almost enough to cry over but everything here is so beautiful i dont feel the need to cry. just gaze in wonder at what ive done #decor #witch #vampire

It's that time of the year again where I look back on everything I crocheted over the past year. Looks like this was the year of the hanging plants! There were a handful of crochet things that I didn't have time to photograph bc they had sold immediately during the many markets I participated in this year, including some donut coasters, strawberry charms (final photo taken by @its.greychen !), and a variety of other plants. Thank you to everyone who bought one of these from me!! You've truly helped me embrace my love for botany, despite me having a black thumb lol. My high school self (half of my lifetime ago!?) would be so proud to hear that I'm still crocheting into adulthood. Here's to more projects in the new year!

Full Sturgeon Moon blessings 🌙 🌟

You may notice things slow down a bit for me here. This is partly because I’m shifting gears & working hard on some things behind the scenes, but also because I am adjusting my rhythm + flow - my check in with my oncologist is just a few days after my birthday, and with school coming up and my work as an elementary school sub and setting up to do more for the gaming side of my biz AND working on my fifth book to publish, there’s a lot on my plate. 💜

But *slow* doesn’t mean *no* progress, it just means, for me at least, finding my steady. 💕 For 7 years, creating jewelry has been the heart of what I do, and it remains that way. I have always said, “jewelry is more than art, it’s battle gear; arm yourselves…” because I do feel that jewelry has the power to empower and uplift us. So I’ll be melting metal and making the magick, just at a very different pace.
