"You need to work out, you're getting too big, and you're only 14," my mother said. I gulped and sat down. "Can we just... pray," I asked. "You need to fix it, usually, girls your age are body conscious.... haven't you seen [friend's name]? That was such a transformation," my dad said.

Thump.

"She lost so much weight, Y/N/N, why don't you do the same? Most people will do things when they see their friends are doing it," my mother said.

Thomp. My mother put her hand on my shoulder-

I went to punch the person who put their hand on me. They caught my hand and I sighed as I saw it was my girlfriend. Clarisse grabbed both of my hands and rubbed my knuckles. "How about we take a break, hm?"

I shook my head. I had to do this.

"Please, no more boxing for the day, you've been overworking yourself," she continued. "Risse, I'm fine.. I've got this," I reassured her.

"Just please, you've been boxing for at least two hours, maybe take a break, okay," she squeezed my hands and walked off. I sighed and went to the archery range.

I grabbed a fairly sized bow and then a set of arrows. I began to shoot around, not necessarily being good at it.

Thwip.

"Y/n, why'd you get new clothes, your old ones were cute," my friends exclaimed. I shrugged. "No need for old clothes..."

Thwap.

"Why don't we all go for a run, some of us need it," my friends said. I looked down and said, "We aren't all wearing tennis shoes."

Shhhk!

They never necessarily spoke much about my own weight, but they all weighed less than me and called themselves fat. They all were skinny or at least average.

"Y/n/n? Please, go rest, I bet you're tired," Clarisse sighed as she noticed me at the archery range. "I'm fine," I defended. "Go get some lunch, or I'll get some for you," she said. I shook my head. "I got it. Thanks, babe," I said.

"C'mon, angel, wanna sit on my lap, maybe take a nap," Clarisse asked. I laughed and shook my head, "You rhymed. And, no, it's... alright.."

Clarisse's eyes became sympathetic. "Baby, is it because this," she asked as you placed her hands on what she called my "love handles" and my hip dips. I looked down and shrugged.

"Baby, that isn't a big deal, you're truly beautiful... do- do you not believe me," Clarisse asked. She pulled me onto her lap and I looked down at my hands. "Hey, eyes on me," she said.

My eyes darted back up to hers and she said, "Would you like to know something really cool?" I nodded and she continued, "I think.. no- I know... That even Aphrodite would be jealous of your beauty."

My eyes began to fill with tears as I buried my head into her neck. "I love you, I don't deserve you," I said as tears stained her shirt. "I love you most, and yes you do, okay? You absolutely do, pretty girl," she said gently to me as her hands relaxed on my hips.

She leaned back on the bed and pulled me back so I could lay on top of her. "I doubt you wanna talk about it later... but how about we nap for now? And just... please... never... over exercise or over work yourself, angel," I nodded as she spoke and closed my eyes. There wasn't anything I could have done to have just to have someone as caring and supporting her.

It was the early days of the Shirai Ryu and you were already struggling to adapt to the changes, not only that... you lost your brother.

You and Bi-Han were the closest when you started with the Lin Kuei, He helped you become the person you are today. You were forever in his debt, but that changed when he betrayed you three to side with Shang Tsung.

"Do your oaths mean nothing !!!" He shouted at you three when Kuai told you what had happened. "It's your duty to obey my will !!"

"Not when it betrays Lin Kuei principles, we won't sacrifice them to serve your ambition." Kuai spoke angrily.

The two broke out into a fight which left Kuai a massive scar across his face. When Tomas ran to his aid he turned to you. You were now scared of him. This wasn't your brother.

"Y/n... We can lead the Lin Kuei to glory, To let people know not to fear us. We will rise from the ashes again. All you need to do is stay loyal to my side." He stuck out his hand for you to take.

You nearly did, He was your brother. You would do anything for him, But what he was showing right now wasn't what a Lin Kuei would do.

"No..." You backed away from him.

"How dare you disobey your grandmaster !!!" He formed an ice dagger and lunged at you, You didn't want to fight your brother, but right now you had now choice. This wasn't the Bi-Han you knew.

Ever since then, you, Kuai and Tomas built the Shirai Ryu from scratch, But they could see how much his betrayal devastated you. They gave you the necessary space to process and grieve.

All you could think about was what happened that day. Your brain was still replaying that memory over and over again, How angry and determined he was. His eyes filled with hate. How much he wanted to kill you...

It was all becoming too much, Upon from building the new clan, you were on the verge of a breakdown. Tomas could see the mixed emotions boiling inside you one day and gently approached you.

"Y/n... How are you feeling ??"

"I'm fine Tomas" You said, trying to focus on your task, But it was incredibly clear to him how much you were hurting inside.

"Look... I understand your upset... He was my brother too"

You froze from what you were doing, your hands gripping your pants tightly, You were starting to shake. Tomas could see droplets of water on the dirt, You were crying.

"Oh y/n..." He gently kneeled to your height and wrapped his arms around you.

"Why did he do what he did... I knew what he did was bad but... He was my brother" You spoke through your sobs as you cried louder.

"I know y/n, I know" He gently rocked you.

You continued to cry until you felt another pair of arms wrap around you, It was Kuai.

"Bi-Han was our brother and always will be. I hope one day he will have a change of heart just like you do y/n" He gently scratched your scalp, this helped calm you down a bit.

"And no matter what y/n, you will always have me and Kuai Liang, You are not alone. We promise from the bottom of our hearts." Tomas gently rubbed your back.

The three stay like this, Not moving one inch. They let you get all the pain, grief and frustration out of your system until they're was nothing left. They could see how exhausted you looked. Kuai gently picked you up and brought you back to your room, tucking you in bed and pressing a gentle kiss on your temple.

"You'll always have a family with Tomas and me y/n" He gently whispered to you. Tomas came in shortly after and climbed in, Gently wrapping his arms around you and keeping you close, rubbing your back gently.

While you have lost one brother. Your other brothers were never going to abandon you, They would help you through this. Like they always do, no matter what.

Can I make a request about Bakugo being with a partner (female reader) who is loving and affectionate, where she is not ashamed to show affection towards him?

(I don't know if you can make two orders 👀)

She comes from a culture where displays of affection are very visible in many parts of her country (Argentina more specifically), where a kiss on the cheek is a greeting for both women and men, in fact when she transferred to the UA, many from CLASS 1A were surprised when she greeted them all more informally, where one who was half disgusted was Bakugo, who was surprised and then acted like he didn't care, Y/N found that a little funny.

There would begin a little mischief between these two, Y/N was one where she showed her affection to everyone. She always hugged him, greeted him with a kiss on the cheeks or on the lips, whether in public or not, on occasions she would put her arm on his shoulder or when they were talking to the rest of the Bakusquad in the common living room and they are sitting, she will be next to him hugging him, etc. You can add more signs of affection!

The hallways of U.A. High echoed with the lively chatter of students as Y/N, a transfer student from Argentina, made her way through the corridors. He scowled at her, trying to keep his composure. "Like hell, I do!"

"Y/N, what the hell?!" Bakugou shouted, wiping his cheek furiously.

He grumbled incomprehensibly, but the corners of his lips twitched, betraying a hint of amusement.

so yeah, I went to the BC signing session at Nokia Arena today, because what else would I, a full-grown adult with a respectable dayjob, do on a wintery Saturday if not stand in a queue freezing my toes off surrounded by sugar-high teenagers for hours, just to exchange a few words with some band dudes? 🤡

(wrote this for me as to remember at least something about it afterwards, but you may read this as well <3)

The queuing part was every bit as shitty as it always is when queuing to any BC event really, but I was in high spirits and great company who were polite enough to laugh at my shitty amazing jokes 🥰

Niko was so soft and nice and aaaaaaaaaa the way he laughed so heart-warmingly at the silly (practiced) thing I said?? 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 I want to put him in my pocket <3

So when I was a kid I used to collect stickers (this is relevant, trust me), especially dog stickers because dogs are cute, and I happen to have a full page of dachshund stickers that look exactly like Rilla, so I thought I'd give Aleksi a couple of those, and the other day I jokingly checked my local supermarket's sticker selection to see if they have any more fun stickers I could give him, and lo and behold I actually found some cool Spider-Man ones, and naturally I JUST couldn’t help myself 😂 and awwwwwww the way his entire face brightened up and he went "NO WAY!! 🤩" when he saw the dachshund ones aaaaaaa 😭💞😭💞😭💞😭 he said he'll put them on his laptop where he has also collected other stickers 🥺💞 I gave them in a Minigrip bag so that he hopefully won't lose them before he gets home (see the picture below for the stickers)

The last time I saw Olli at a signing session I was so blown away by his beauty that I could barely speak a word to him, so this time I was determined to actually have some sort of a conversation with him, and I did succeed, even if we only talked about the weather (my go-to conversation topic) 😂 it's difficult to translate the Finnish word tarjeta, but basically I asked him how's the weather been in Oulu, and he said it's been cold ("Mites Oulussa on tarettu?" "Kylmä on."), but apparently he actually likes cold weather, my reply being "well I don't you fucking weirdo <3"

Joonas heard this intellectual exhange of opinions and put in his two cents as he told me how they had recently visited Oulu and that it had been significantly colder than in Helsinki 👍

Also, as you may have seen from pictures by now, he was wearing no shirt under his blazer and yeah, I may have taken a good look at his rug while he was signing my totebag 👁️👄👁️ In my defence, he had it out for everyone to see, so where else was I supposed to look? His eyes? 🙄

At that signing session I went to in Stockholm last year (see the link above) I didn't manage to say a damn thing to Tommi lol (I blame Joel and Olli), so that was my other goal for this time and yaaaay, success! I didn't say much to him though, just "hi" and "ah darn, is that bloody marker not working? and here I thought I had bought a good one" ("Olin ostavinani hyvän tussin")

For context: I had brought my BC totebag (which I bought exactly 2 years ago tomorrow and have used maybe twice during all this time) with me for them to sign, and as I wasn't sure if they'd have fabric markers, I had gone and bought one for the purpose myself, and I had tested it (on paper) at home, but I guess the cold weather had affected the ink, so it was working quite poorly. They all did manage to scribble down their autographs though, and the extra time it took for them to do so offered me some extra time to chat with them, which was nice actually 🤭 (hehe sneaky meeee)

To Joel I said the new song is great ("Helevetin hyvä se uus biisi"), which he was pleased to hear. He gave me back my totebag but not my marker, so I had to ask for it lol, to which he said his brain was not working properly anymore (felt 💀), to which I said that at least he hasn't been standing in the freezing cold for hours, to which he said: "yeah, you're the actual heroes here" and hell yeah we are lol, I wouldn't do this shit for any other band 😌

Then he tried to give me the autograph card of the next person in line dfdggdgdgddd poor Joel, I guess his brain really wasn't working

Afterwards my mouth was SO dry from talking so much in such a short time lol, but I was happy I got to say most of the stuff I had wanted to say to them. I was planning to show Aleksi a picture of our family dachshunds like I had done in Stockholm, but with all the hassle with the marker I kinda forgot about it (I kept grumbling about the shitty marker to literally all of them except Joel), and anyway I didn't want to slow down the queue any more than I already was 🙈

After the signing session we had pizza and went to the local Christmas market that just opened today and I bought some organic coffee beans for my brother for Christmas, so all in all I had a lovely day (ignoring the cold-as-balls weather) 🥰💞

Ok so you're gonna want to start with the original ANGR (all new ghost rider) run which went from 2014 - 2015. It starts with 'Engines of vengence' and then goes to 'Legend'. I've attached links to Amazon where you can buy either paperback copies or ones for kindle (hopefully it works fingers crossed lmao).

They're by FAR my favorite part of Robbies story (I'm such a sucker for orgin stories I'm ngl to you)

There's then a team up comic that I THOROUGHLY enjoyed which was 'Four on the Floor'. Lots of REALLY fun body horror stuff going on there highly recommend. Also has one of my favorite panels in this whole rec list. Also FUCK ME THE ART IN THIS OH MY GODDDDD HES SO CREACHURE HES S O CREACHURE EEEEEE!!!!

There's also 'Ghost Racers' which I have yet to read despite having access to it I NEED TO GET ON THAT RIGHT AWAY CAUSE IVE HEARD ITS FUN LIKE REALLT REALLT FUN AGHHHHH.
