Wait, what's going on with Neil Gaiman rn???
Joined Amazon's "if they don't like Rings of Power they're racist" campaign.
Which it's not true. Amazon massacred the lore and the worldbuilding, but since they're having CWs Batwoman (1,8 millions in the first episode last time I checked. Those are CWs Batwoman numbers) levels of rating they need to get Twitter to talk about them I guess.
Got into discourse over Lenny Henry's hobbit (the dude who said "WE are the ones telling the story now" when the critics about the show not following Tolkien's work started). Then got into Twitter fights with some fans who reminded him he had previously said "it was wrong to alienate the fans with changes in the story" (not with arguments, but directly mocking them) and then for some reason Elon Musk got involved (I don't like Elon Musk, I'm very wary about him, but how on earth is the billionaire saying "This show destroyed Tolkien's worldbuilding" but the writer is saying "you're either racist or never read Tolkien" if you critic this???)
They insist and insist and insist it's racism. It's not. It's the lack of beards in female dwarves. It's the elves not being the ethereal angelic beings they're supposed to be. It's Galadriel being a Captain Marvel with vulcan ears. It's Elrond, heir of at least 3 different elven kings, being treated as a nobody. It's Celeborn not even being in the show because fuck Galadriel's husband who cares about him hahahaha????
It's the fact that Lord of the Rings' fans are not only fans of the Middle Earth, elves, dwarves and hobbits. We're fans of the man behind it. JRR Tolkien and his wonderful life and his love for trees and his wife and his children and languages and who told nazis to fuck off and then reminded England they wouldn't be better than them if they kept attacking the surviving germans after the war was over. We are fans of TOLKIEN.
And Amazon has said again and again Tolkien was just not important enough to respect his vision on his own creation. Gaslighting about how much "he'd love it". The same dude who rejected a movie project because a tower had an extra stair he hadn't put in his book.
And that's what happening with Neil and honestly???? NEVER follow your favorite writers in Twitter.

i wanna talk abt
the CW DC shows
Tumblr media Tumblr media
man how far they fell…
Of course this list was prompted by the fact that the Flash is coming to an end, signaling the end of an era.
There’s a multitude of reasons why these shows went in flames:
troubling production, some truly awful plot lines, the racism, the queerbaiting…
however, the highs were so HIGH. Every once in a while, i’ll think about the crossovers and get happy nostalgia tingles. they were so iconic.
the penultimate memorable moments in each of the shows.
From the time Barry first broke the sound barrier, to the time Cisco DIED by Dr. Wells but barry ran so fast he went back in time and undid it, to the time Caitlyn’s dead fiancé came back, fused with an old ass professor, just to die again shortly afterwards 😂😂
From the time Oliver’s mom blew up the city with the help of the man she had an affair with (which ended up killing the guys whole son 🤡), to the time Oliver took Felicity to his mansion and told her he loved her as a mIsDiReCt, to the ENTIRE season 5.
From the time Kara came out as supergirl just to save her sister, to the time that same sister actually came out (which, at 14, was so important to me), to the first time Lena Luther is introduced and every time she’s in screen afterwards. (Season 2 was just *chefs kiss*)
and that’s just the main three. don’t tell me that when you think of legends of tomorrow, a good 5 scenes don’t immediately pop into your head. what a batshit crazy piece of media.
Now there’s a lot of discourse as to what started the spark that caught flame and caused this entire franchise to explode as horribly as it did.
some say that Barry going back in time and fucking with the timeline ruined it
some say that the beginning of the end was the batwoman show, one of the hottest messes to come out of the CW’s ass since riverdale’ third season
some even blame the death of captain cold. a very VALID complaint
regardless of what you think, i believe that now that the arrowverse is coming to it’s inevitable end, it’s a good time to look back and reminisce. With the writers strike happening (show your support btw), and the fact that streaming services are unwilling to release seasons with more than 10 episodes, i cherish the time i spent with these shows even more. i grew up with them (for reference, i was born in 2003, so i was 9 when arrow came out for the first time). My dad had the first 3 seasons of Arrow on dvd.
Iris was one of the first black women I saw on screen after transitioning out of my disney channel phase. And she wasn’t a side character or anything, she was a main character and the love interest of the superhero. regardless of what you think abt iris as a character, that shit just wasn’t the norm back in 2015.
When sara lance kissed the daughter of the head of league of assassins in front of her ex-boyfriend, and it was as just another tuesday in star city. such an important scene.
look, all this to say. I will miss this era***. even if I stopped watching the flash during the 8th season. i didn’t realize how comforting it was knowing it was still out there.
***i know the superman and lois hasn’t officially been cancelled yet. but i’m protecting my heart. cuz it’s a really good show.
Goodbye, Arrowverse

I only saw, like, a couple episodes of Arrow... Please tell me what it is about that specific 'verse that has you hooked? (Genuine ask, permission to gush and rant granted.)
lol okay this will probably be long so rant after the cut :)
so my first foray into the Arrowverse was actually Titans which I feel like is more Arrowverse-adjacent since there's like no crossovers with that show. I started watching because I'd just rewatched 2003's Teen Titans and wanted more content about my beloved blorbos, particularly Dick Grayson, and boy was I impressed! I finished the first two seasons within like a couple weeks I think? which is big for me cause I'm really slow at going through shows lol and then while I waited for season 3 to come out I decided I'd watch Supergirl and I also immediately loved that show though it's significantly lighter than Titans, Kara is absolutely lovely as a character and I really enjoy Melissa Benoit's portrayal of her. also Alex??? I feel her in my soul, she's basically me if I was a cis lesbian lol
fell in love with Barry in the crossover episodes (he's so adorable and genuine how could I not???) so my next show was The Flash and omg season 1 was just great can't get enough it introduces almost all my favorite characters and it's just so fun!
overall the characters in all the shows are super endearing, the plotlines while sometimes a little shaky are usually at the very least fun and suspenseful, and I'm always a sucker for watching heroes learn how to balance being a hero and normal everyday life
I still have yet to see Arrow, Stargirl, Batwoman, or Doom Patrol; considering I hate the actor for Ollie I dunno if I ever will actually watch Arrow but I do like Felicity so it's up in the air lol my advice for anyone wanting to watch Arrowverse shows: pretend they all end after season 4. seriously, every Arrowverse show I've seen sucks after season 4 and it's so disappointing lol

I got to do an interview with composer Sherri Chung this fall. She started her career singing on Arrow Season 3 and then later co-composing with Blake Neely on Batwoman, Blindspot and Riverdale. Now, she is doing her own projects like “Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai” and the new NBC show “Found.”
Enjoy the podcast episode! You can also find it on Spotify.

WIPs
Rules:  list your wips with a brief description
I was tagged by @tj-dragonblade and I always enjoy airing some ideas that are waiting in the pipeline. It feels especially timely since I’m nearly done drafting one wip, although editing it will still take some time. Regardless, here’s a look at what else I might choose to work on.
First up, those which are at least started:
I’ll make a man out of you [riddlebird] - Arkhamverse and a continuation of my existing series. Building on a proposal made in an earlier fic.
Every Breath You Take [hattercrow] - Arkhamverse and detailing the start of their relationship in that universe.
In the air tonight [riddlebird] - A first foray into the Batwheels variation of the characters.
You Only Live Twice [riddlebird] - A continuation of my Telltale series and continuing to build the relationship.
Bathing the Duke [Resident Evil Village] - Exactly what it says. A second person pov and focusing on the sensual.
Secret Admirer [riddlebird] - A concept I’ve had in mind a while, not one but both secret admirers.
The King Is Dead [riddlebird] - Rather more angst than my usual fare but considers how Ed might react to Oswald’s sudden death.
Western AU [hattercrow] - Jonathan Crane should have a horse is the basic premise and I built a plot around that.
What Is Reality? [riddlebird] - This idea has been on the back burner ages. Looks at the aftermath of the episode of the same name.
Living Doll [riddlebird] - Burton-Schumacher and a hint of Coppélia.
The Hands on Approach [octogoblin] - TSSM. I guess this is porn with plot. A way for two difficult people to admit their feelings anyway.
Suit [octogoblin] - TSSM again and another way for guys who don’t know how to communicate to convey affection.
TSSM dynamic [octogoblin] - How I see them working together. I was wondering why these all ended up sidelined and remembered I never saw season 2.
Are We Friends? [riddlebird] - Gotham and I’m not entirely sure where I saw going with it. General confusion about their relationship status I guess.
Gotham Gazette [riddlebird] - Gotham five times plus one styled like a gossip column. I’d like to finish it but got uncomfortable with this area of fandom.
Now on to some which are decidedly more nebulous:
Fate or something like it [octogoblin] - specifically following No Way Home and how events may play out in the altered timeline from when Norman got dropped back.
Nola Riddler does riddles [riddlebird] - prompted by a comment by the AU creator that he hadn’t delved into his penchance for riddles yet.
Phone Call/Past Midinght [riddlebird] - Two subsequent stories in my Arkhamverse series.
Wrap you round my finger [riddlebird] - A general idea about how Ed expects to deal with Penguin only to be surprised.
Gotta Shape Up [riddlebird] - Post season 2 Harley Quinn series but ignoring season 3.
Late Night, Fast Food [multiple ships] - a regular person’s pov on the late night antics of some of Gotham’s notable regulars.
Siren’s Call 3 [riddlebird] - how does one get along with a genuine siren on board?
Limo prompt [riddlebird] - a miscommunication situation arising in Gotham.
Hand kink [Resident Evil Village] - The Duke has very dextrous hands.
Olga my Queen [riddlebird, Egghead/Olga] - A crossover of sorts between Gotham and ‘66.
Trans Ed [riddlebird] - I’m curious how Arkhamverse Oz would deal with that but writing it requires a careful balance.
pre-criminal meeting [hattercrow] - self explanatory really but what if they knew each other before Arkham and all.
skyscraper [octogoblin] - porn. That’s it.
Batwoman [riddlebird] - I wanted to explore just what happened to our guys and how Enigma fit into that.
Batman vs Dracula [riddlebird] - It was suggested to me to rewrite this film as having Ed involved and I liked that idea.
kids museum meeting [riddlebird] - some comics have shown the young Penguin and Riddler so obviously I ask myself, well what if they met then?
Santa Clause 4 [riddlebird] - Based more on the Krampus. Will I or will I not write this come December.
Pecking Order 2 [riddlebird] - Picking up where part 1 left off and investigating how things proceed.
The Batman [none] - what if a trans Oswald had to give up a kid when he was younger? And what if that kid later found him.
Gamer Oz [riddlebird] - In order to impress Ed, Oswald pretends (badly) to be a gamer.
P.I. Riddler [riddlebird] - sort of turning the femme fatale trope around so Ed falls for the husband.
60s bookshop [riddlebird] - Penguin runs a bookshop and is pursued by Bookworm and Riddler.
Streamer Ed [riddlebird] - he habitually comments on Oswald’s Iceberg Lounge promotional videos.
Rumour Mill [hattercrow] - Jonathan comes to Jervis’ defence when rumours spread.
Pax Penguina 2 [riddlebird] - A continuation where I intended introducing Martin.
Angel!Ed/Demon!Oz [riddlebird] - Another continuation building on my first story.
Circus Crew [riddlebird] - An idea to do something with Nola Oswald’s circus crew.
Rogues go skiing [multiple ships] - Cute piece probably involving the lego version.
Arkham sitcom [multiple ships] - episodic story featuring their lives and antics in Arkham.
If you made it this far, thank you! My ask box is open if you want further info on any of these.

Happy Birthday Stephen "Dougray" Scott born on November 25th 1965.
In my opinion Dougray is one of the most underrated Scottish  actors, with his broad Scottish brogue he oozes Scottishness whenever he speaks in his native tongue.
After attending Auchmuty High School in Fife trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where he was named most promising drama student and took the his stage name from his grandmother's surname, "Dougray
Scott's early work was in Scottish national theatre and television, first appearing in the series Soldier Soldier as well as on the stage in the Tim Fleming directed production of Wallace. Early television credits to follow included The Rover, Taggart: Nest of Vipers, Lovejoy, and Soldier Soldier. Scott followed this up with impactful turns in the films You Don't Have to Say You Love Me, Black Beauty, and Another Nine & a Half Weeks. Shortly thereafter, Scott could be seen opposite Drew Barrymore in the hit film Ever After, opposite Robert Duvall, Tea Leoni, and Vanessa Redgrave in the film Deep Impact, as well as the second installment in the hit Mission: Impossible franchise, Mission: Impossible 2.
He also starred in a film I mentioned the other day, alongside Dougie Henshall, This Years Love, look out for it, it is very funny and full of Scots, but set in London.
Scott also appeared opposite Kate Winslet in Michael Apted's Enigma as well as the 2002 film Ripley's Game, opposite Ray Winstone. Starring opposite Jennifer Connelly in the 2005 film Dark Water and the 2007 film Hit Man, Scott soon appeared in US television for the first time in the ABC miniseries The Ten Commandments as well the Hallmark TV movie Arabian Nights.
Other film roles have included the hit film Ever After, opposite Drew Barrymore Then with Robert Duvall, Tea Leoni, and Vanessa Redgrave in the film Deep Impact, as well as the second instalment in the hit Mission: Impossible franchise, Mission Impossible 2. Scott also appeared opposite Kate Winslet in Michael Apted’s Enigma as well as the 2002 film Ripley’s Game, opposite Ray Winstone. In 2006 Dougray  appeared in US television for the first time in the ABC miniseries The Ten Commandments as well the Hallmark TV movie Arabian Nights. US television audiences next saw Scott in the NBC series Heist as well as the hit series Desperate Housewives. He followed these impressive turns with the BBC miniseries adaptation of the cult classic novel The Day of the Triffids .
He was also been seen in the critically-acclaimed movie My Week With Marilyn, the hit Netflix series Hemlock Grove, and the Cinemax series Strike Back. On this side of the Atlantic, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was great as well as another film was New Town Killers, set in Edinburgh, and in an episode of Dr Who with Matt Smith. He was also in the TV series, Snatch, based on the film of the same name.
During the last few years  playing  Colonel Jacob Kane in the series Batwoman. The series was cancelled after 3 seasons.  He has also appeared in La Cha Chis a dark comedy which also stars the excellent Rhys Ifans, it was written and filmed in South Wales in four weeks over the coronavirus lockdown.
At present you can find Dougray in the Irvine Welsh series Crime, where he platys troubled detective DI Ray Lennox. I’m really looking forward to the second installment, which will see the excellent English actor John Simm join the cast.
In the second season Ray is ready to return to the fray at Edinburgh Serious Crimes, keen to prove he is fully recovered from his breakdown, I’ll say no more in case you haven’t watched series one, please go do it! Dougray has one a Scottish Bafta for his portrayal and just this weekend in the 50th International Emmy Awards was also awarded Best Performance by an Actor.   Vigil, set in Scotland won the Best Drama Series
In a post on social media, Welsh congratulated the Hollywood star, who he claims “battled for years” to play the lead role in Crime.
Dougray will also be in the Sky series  A Town Called Malice about a  family of petty thieves from South London who decamp to Spain to profit from an unexpected windfall. I’m also looking forward to the film, Irena's Vow telling the true story of Polish nurse Irene Gut Opdyke, who was  awarded the Righteous Among the Nations medal for showing remarkable courage in her attempt to save Polish Jews during World War II. The film is based on the Broadway play of the same name. It is set to premiere next year.

Frankly I have no energy left to contribute to a #SaveFirstKill or #ReleaseBatgirl Campaign. I gave my all  first to  #RenewLegendsofTomorrow and then #SaveLegendsofTomorrow for month with the only result being that the show was cancelled instead of renewed, that “Superman & Lois” was rectonned out of the Arrowverse, and that “The Flash” got an even shorter final season than originally thought, which will also now the Finale of the Arrowverse. And “Legends” is still not getting a Finale.
I also did contribute to #SaveLegacies, which also achieved nothing, expect that “Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals” left Netflix. And I tried #SaveBatwoman, even though I don’t even like the show anymore, and I tried #SaveRoswellNewMexico before I even watched a single episode of that show which I now love dearly, which makes it so bitter to know that no matter when I will see Season 3 and 4, it will be the end of it and there probably won’t be a satisfying ending, but just a “let’s cut the Cliffhangars out” Season Finale.
And during all those months of senseless fighting for not more than an actual chance to get a last season, mini-series, or special so that we get so finish those stories properly, it only become clear that no one but the fans gave a damn about that. I mean, yes, the actors, the crew and the writers maybe did, but no one with actual power to make it happen did. So I have made peace with the fact that the Legends will stay in Time Prison forever, that “Legacies”, “Batwoman” and “Roswell, New Mexico” like the “Charmed”-Reboot are just over without proper endings, and that the Arrowverse and the Vampire Verse were dropped because appareantly there was too much of LGBT-Shit, Female Leads and Non-White Characters in them.
And why I have no clue what is going on with “First Kill” , it has become clear in the last couple of days, that the problem with most of the rest is Warner and that we had it better when it was still owned by AT&T. For some reason HBOmax won’t be streaming or producing original fictional content from Warner anymore and is not interested in keeping their old subscriber base. “Batgirl” and “Scoop” are only the beginning. Suddenly everything they are already working on and everything planned for the platform from “Blue Beetle” to that “Green Lantern”-show to the newest season of “Harley Quinn” and Season 2 of “Peacemaker” - all of those might just not be released anymore. Of course we will never get to see the rest of “The Nevers”, if they are scrapping actual movies, they are totally scrapping the finished episodes of that show as well. HBOmax will keep going thanks to “House of the Dragon” for the rest of the year, but next year ... who knows? Maybe HBO and Warner will split up and one streaming service less will exist in this world and they will make their own new seperate streaming services instead. And even worse, the whole done but no release might spread to the Cinematic Releases. “The Flash”-Movie might just never get released after all and the same might happen to “Aquaman 2″ and many other movies for several different reasons.
And, did I menton that Season 4 of “Snowpiercer” is also in danger now and I really have no engery left to worry about this show on the top of everything else?
I have just given up. Everything I loved and watched is either coming to an natural end soon, has been cancelled, or will come to un un-natural end soon and/or will never be released anyhow.
We will only get new cheap shows, no more fantasy or science fiction shows, or only event-shows with 6-8 Episodes in their one or two seasons anymore, television will be ruled by Crime Shows again with no one investing money in anything else, and the LGBTQ-Community and Female Leads will disappear from fiction all together outside the one or two special decicated shows, that will pop up once or twice a year. Projects with high production value and good stories, which defy this model, will be overlooked and dropped or only stream on Paramount+, if that streaming service even survives the next couple of years. Disney will just give in one day and put warrior women and LGBT-stuff back in the locked chest, they kept it in for centuries, because too few people want too see stuff, that features those kind of things. The Doctor will forever be male again, and that one time they were female will be framed as an failed experiment by stupid people by everyone who is still watching which won’t be many people any more, but the people who matter: Male Brits.
So, no, I won’t fight anymore. I am defeated and will just stop watching Televions and Movies. Because there is literally no point to it anymore.

Arrowverse Hall of Shame: My 30 (ish) Least Favorite Episodes
Picked from „Arrow“, „Black Lightning“, „Supergirl“, „Legends of Tomorrow“, „The Flash“, „Barwoman“ Season 1+2 and „Superman & Lois“ Season 1+2. Also known as the „Why? Why?? Why?-List“ of Episodes. And yes, obviously I hate Season 2 of „Batwoman“, because they did pretty much everything wrong you can do wrong when faced with this kind of situation (Why not just make Sophie into the new Batwoman, or introduce Luke’s sister or cousin, or just - you know -keep Kate as main character if you do end up recasting her after all. Sigh).

It’s been over a week so I think I can post this.
The finale of the Flash was so much badder than I should have been. I get that certain actors and certain events about and within the crew was going on, but here’s my take on how the flash season 9 should have been.
Ep 1-5 (part 1); Rogue war: Mostly the same, but with more iconic characters who played the villains and the rogues who actually appeared. I get they had limited time, but after crisis, Cisco said that most of the villains in the entire Arrowverse came back, so have more iconic villain characters return, and some who we know are still alive (for example Heatwave, tho I read somewhere that he didn’t want to return as the character) or some characters who escaped the prison that the speed force attacked in season 7. Another thing that I’ll put here since I don’t know where else to put it, I actually liked the story with Khione, so I’d keep that in.
Ep 1-5 (part 2); Red Death: There are a multitude of different ways this character and arc could have gone. Option 1: More expensive and lots of legal work, but get the actual Bruce Wayne and try to follow a similar path on the comics (alternate universe where Bruce merged with Barry to become better) or something completely new (Have an older Bruce try to build a suit to harness the speed force like Godspeed and go insane doing so [I heard somewhere that Arrowverse Batman killed joker so that could lean into this idea more]. Option 2: Still expensive: Get the original Batwoman actor Ruby Rose and have her follow the comic origin or the new origin they made up. Option 3: Have the Red death we got be from the Reverse-Flashpoint timeline, since it made more sense, since when talking to Iris, Ryan Wilder said something about a red speedster, so move on with that information. There are a lot of different ways this could have gone, but Eric Wallace is why we got what we got, and we got a crybaby bitch version of the dreaded red death, who didn’t kill anyone, despite the show saying so in the future the original Nora was from. I did like how the real Ryan Wilder appeared to help Barry take down red death. The ending where Joe moves away was sad, though I guess it made sense for both the actor and the character, though I did like seeing Cecile and Joes daughter, since it would have made more Spence if she appeared dung the Armageddon crossover when Joe died, though it wasn’t the worst case scenario . The reveal that Iris is pregnant with Nora was a slight surprise I didn’t see coming.
Ep 6-8: Mainly filler episodes, which could have been much better than the ones we got. First off, and this will be a tangent later, why and what was the purpose to making Cecile a superhero; Virtue, who is an entirely different character than Cecile. Seriously, it felt more like the Cecile and friends show than The Flash. Episode 6 was basically filler, but they could’ve shown us more of Central City outside Barry’s perspective, to help us understand why the city is the way it is. Episode 7 was basically some lore, but mainly lore for Supergirl’s show, they could have told us more about what has been happening in National City since the shows ending and how the characters have been since then as well. It was too bad that Melissa couldn’t come back to the Flash as Supergirl as predicted. Episode 8 was mostly filler as well, since all it did was be an episode in one setting; Star labs. The Chester and Allegra relationship parts were mid at best. Episode 9, was amazing. It honestly should have been a two-parter, replacing episode 8 and having 9 has the second part. The story was amazing, Barry’s birth, the guilt he feels as the Flash, John Diggle’s return and his small story, Wally’s story and the knowledge of the new multiverse Oliver as the Spectre created, Oliver’s return and his story, Ramsey returning and his new plan and his eventual defeat, and Oliver saying that the future we saw that he and Felicity reunited hasn’t happened yet was amazing. His final words to Barry and how Barry finally got closure to his best friends death was so sweet. Thank you Steven Amell.
Ep 8-13 (part 1): Episode 10 though, that was something we have been expecting for 9 years. With the start of the Cobalt Blue storyline and the ending of the series, we were expecting big things. Episode 10 was one of those. The whole, Iris getting a Pulitzer Prize was nice since Nora mentioned that she gets 2 in the future, so that was nice, and so was Khione writing letters to Mark, Caitlin and Frost. Then we get into the good stuff, Barry getting sent back to the past, March 18, 2000, the day his mother is murdered by the Reverse Flash, and his father is sent to jail. Seeing Matt Lentscher return as the real Eobard Thawne was nice, though I wish that after Flashpoint, Matt appeared more and in Tom Cavanagh, no offense to either. The whole, blue crystal thing was a bit confusing for me but it seemed to make some sense. We also got to see the last time Barry got to interact with his parents, which was heartwarmingly sad. But then, we get to that fight on that night. With Barry trying to save Thawne, and eventually leading to the fight we’ve been waiting for for over 9 years. Seeing Barry tell his young self, ‘no Barry, no running this time’ was so good! Barry last words with Eobard were amazing due to it being the only time Barry knew what Eobard was doing before he knew himself, before Barry being teleported somewhen else making Eobard think he won due to Barry seemingly dying in front of him. Then we get a reveal of Malcolm Gilmore , a nearly identical copy of Eddie Thawne in 2049, before being struck by lightning and seeing a folder of Eddie. The only problems that I have with this episode is that we never see what happens to the original Barry Allen, the Flash who got struck by lightning in 2020 and who disappeared in Crisis four years later in 2024. We never got to know him or see his life and original timeline, minus a few words and hints we got from Thawne over the course of the series. Another thing is that we never got to see how Barry ‘ruined’ Thawne’s life in the future. We got a few hints during seasons 2,3,8 and here in season 9, as well as some during his time on Legends of Tomorrow, but we never saw how Barry did it, whether it be the original Barry Allen, or our Barry Allen.
Ep 8-13 (part 2) episode 11: This episode wasn’t that good compared to the two episodes that came before, but it also was not as nearly as bad as it could’ve been. First, the story of ‘ Malcolm Gilmore’ trying to find out who Eddie Thawne was was so good. The return of Korber was slightly surprising, due to her new position in the future as the captain of CCPD (rip). The speed force Nora and team flash trying to find Barry and fight Mark(Chillblaine) under the influence of the crystal was nice. Seeing how powerful Khione was in instantly killing and reviving Mark was so surprising! Iris then goes into labor. And the reveal of Malcolm being Eddie who was brought back by the negative forces and sent to the future by the singularity was a surprising callback that I’m sure all of us forgot. And the bullet still being in Eddie’s heart before pulling it out was so surprising.
Ep 8-13 (part 3) Episode 12: After accidentally killing Captain Korber (rip), Eddie goes to star labs where the 2049 team flash have just defeated the teased and long awaited villain, the Chronarch. After Eddie sees all the times Eobard came back despite his sacrifice, Nora comes to help him, only to be possessed by the blue crystal. After Barry is taken the future and fights the possessed Nora, he talks to Eddie who blames everything on Barry, his death, him being forgotten, and Barry and Iris’s family. After going to visit future Iris, who rejects him , Eddie then makes us his mind, becomes Cobalt Blue, and revived some of the Flash’s greatest enemies. My only problem I have with this episode and the finale is that more characters should have appeared, a big example, Bart West-Allen. I don’t know why Jordan William Fisher couldn’t appear, I’ll search for why later but I do wish he appeared.
For episodes 13, I’ll make another post due to this one being WAY to long.
