I saw the drain flamingo in the candle section. I picked it up and I thought about getting it as I looked at the candles and the Christmas displays. It's silver with a small plastic flamingo in the center of the drain apparatus. There was a bright pink rubber ring around the edge to hold it around the drain center. I held it as I walked over to the table of "gifts for her". There were tacky glass jewelry boxes that hinged open from the top and had angled walls that reminded me of a crystal shape. Lots of faces for a jewelry box. I wouldn't even call this a jewelry box. More than one necklace on the mirrored bottom of the glass container and they'd be tangled to the point of destruction. There was a silver chain on it to prevent it from opening too far. It's a box that you'd see in a grandmother's house. But this is a fake version made to sell in Tjmaxx. They didn't buy the original at Tjmaxx.
When I went home, you told me about the drain flamingo with the bright pink rubber ring around the edge to hold it around the drain center. And how you wanted to get it, because it reminded you of me.

"When I was a young man, I fell in love with a woman-"
"Oh, hey, is it that late?"
"Sit."
This is such a funny father and son moment between these two, and I love it way too much.
Not only with Raph trying to get out of hearing a story from his dad that he's not interesting in/in the mood to hear, but also immediately wanting out the second he realizes it's about his dad's love life.
