DC Universe: In Order!
Have you ever watched an animated Constatine? He is way cooler in animation and comic books...Anyways. I stumbled upon that movie first with my partner, and he told me that there is an order to the DC Universe and this movie was like way on the bottom of the list. We decided to watch it in order, but the order is not self explanatory.
Tumblr media
This is for your reference (and source): https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/guide/dc-animated-movies-in-order/
Order Up:
Tumblr media
1) Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013)
We know these characters all have their own stories, but this is the point that they come together into their own grouping in this universe. This movie resets all the rules you think you know.
Tumblr media
2) Justice League: War (2014)
This is an important point they get back to later in the storyline. It helps to bring and keep these guys together.
Tumblr media
3) Son of Batman (2014)
This gets more into Batman’s story, but remember everything connects and leads to other things.
Tumblr media
4) Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015)
This is a call to action from the team that shows the underwater world but also adds to the team.
Tumblr media
5) Batman vs Robin (2015)
This explores the conflict that creates the super hero icons true selves, but we all have daddy issues.
Tumblr media
6) Batman: Bad Blood (2016)
This is pretty neat for seeing how big the Bat Family actually gets.
Tumblr media
7) Justice League vs. Teen Titans (2016)
This introduces the Teen Titans into universe and helps to (eventually) establish a younger and older set of heroes.
Tumblr media
8) Justice League: Dark (2017)
This is where you get more in the mix, Constatine’s group is pretty cool and works well with a group of supers.
Tumblr media
9) Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (2017)
A fun little installment from our youthful heroes.
Tumblr media
10) Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (2018)
This universe is a little interesting as even vilians get to switch sides and join the party. It’s not a party until they show up...right?
Tumblr media
11) The Death of Superman (2018)
This is a pretty iconic point in comics and animation both, it has even been said that Superman is being compared to Jesus.
Tumblr media
12) Constantine: City of Demons (2018)
Really any of these that have Constatine are awesome.
Tumblr media
13) Reign of the Supermen (2019)
With the death of one superman, you get many revivals. Not unlike Jesus right? Sorry not sorry.
Tumblr media
14) Batman: Hush (2019)
Between Batman’s day job, child, night time hobby, and his new friends...its not like he needs more to do does he?
Tumblr media
15) Wonder Woman: Bloodlines (2019)
Some people get no back story movies, some get a lot. This is Wonder Woman’s back story.
Tumblr media
16) Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020)
The year starts to catch up with us now. This name, if you watched the movies in order, is mentioned more in the beginning. Its the big bads name and his effect on earth.
Tumblr media
17) DC Showcase: Constantine - The House of Mystery (2022)
While I do think this is in two collections, one in this set of films and two in the DC showcase collection, this picks up where no16 left off.
I loved the animation, the old school lore, the comic book origins. A proper mix of characters. No 16 was supposed to be the last but they are adding to it. Which is awesome. I personally prefer this to MCU but I wonder if this wasn’t inspired by DCU? Have you seen any of these? Did you watch them in order because of this post?

Well I haven’t logged into tumblr in forever. So I figured I’d reshare some stuff to start to help get this page some more traction again. Including this popular Damian Wayne and Raven video I made awhile back due to a lot of people asking me to. I heard rumors of them appearing in the Crisis on Infinite Earths Trilogy. But only time will tell. If they do end up appearing in it I will for sure make a follow up video. Also, resharing this makes me miss the DCAMU a bit and these 2 characters especially. So I hope they do come back and get a bit of a happier ending than what we got in Apokolips War.

Starfire x Nightwing
I am super late to the party and just watched Teen Titans Judas Contract and Justice League vs Teen Titans. And yes, I watched them in that order because I mainly wanted to see all the DickXKory loving, and I was not disappointed. I loved it so much, I watched JL vs TT.
Their tag is mostly taken over by the Teen Titans live action show, which I couldn't really get into, so I can't find a lot specific to these movies, but I just wanted to put in one place my favorite moments and hope there are others out there that loved them just as much.
In The Judas Contract
The fact that Dick was smitten with her from the beginning!
Their first kiss
Kory: Nightwing, Nightwing, Dick! Nightwing: Oh, yes?
Dick asking Kory to move in with him ♥
The scene where someone comments on Dick's stamina, and Kory jokes he's got a lot of stamina when they have sex and how horrified Dick was that she was joking about that
Love that Kory is always on top.
They communicate and really have each others' backs.
All the times Dick calls Kory 'Babe'
I am here for all the sexual jokes and innuendos.
Justice League vs Teen Titans
When they see each other for the first time, and Dick tells her she looks good,
Loved when Kory and Dick were skyping and you can see what Dick sees when she's leaning her boobs into the camera or when she's laying down.
Definitely wish Dick would have been in Justice League vs Teen Titans more. But I'll take what I can get!

Damirae haters: *Ranting how Raven was de-aged for plot and arguing how the ship is pedophilia*
Me: *Watches Young Justice, ships Dick and a de-aged Zatanna (also, a Damirae shipper)*

This is the DCAMU: DC Animated Movie Universe. Also known as the New 52 universe, since it gets it's inspiration loosely based from that era of comics. These movies are part of a shared continuity that ended a bit prematurely considering the producers and directors had had plans for more.
(The following is also the watching order for anyone that wants to get into to it.) (Pssssst, get into it!! 😉)
Tumblr media
This is the DCAMU versions of Damian Wayne, age 13, and Raven (Rachel Roth), age 14, from the Justice League vs Teen Titans movie. Their origins in this universe are new and a bit different from the comics, they have no previous history other than this in this specific continuity.
Tumblr media
This is Raven and Damian about a year later in Teen Titans the Judas Contract, making them about 15 and 14, respectively. Although they didn't get as much screen time together in this movie, it is clear their bond of friendship and trust in one another is growing.
Tumblr media
And finally, this is Damian and Raven in Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, which starts about two years (not completely sure because it isn't very clear) after Judas Contract. At the beginning of this movie Raven would be about 17 and Damian 16. Then there was a two year time skip after that to the future, where they'd be about 19 and 18 by the end of the film. Again, it's shown their bond has grown much deeper and now it's become much more than just friendship. They had finally confessed that they are in love with each other after having held onto those feelings for a several years. And although we would've loved to have seen more of this development in the planned third TT film, WB told them to wrap it all up in this one final movie. A tall order for the filmmakers considering there was so much more story they wanted to tell in this universe.
Tumblr media
Their beginning age is a fact, the rest is all rough estimation based on what the directors have said and the order of the movies. It's important to remember this universe is not the comic's, nor does it tie to the comic's. Like every alternate universe in the comic's world, movie's, shows, or otherwise, these are different versions of the characters. They do not share the exact same history of their comic's counterparts.
Just wanted to clear a few things up since, understandably, some people either don't know where this ship came from, or others are constantly getting these details wrong. I know this universe has mixed reviews, some movie's are better than others, but if you haven't seen them I highly recommend it. Watch them for yourself and make up your own mind about them. ❤️

You Can't Beat Raven at Cards
Raven: I win. Again.
Kon: Dammit. You won 6 times in a row. This is unfair.
Raven: Or I'm just that good.
Kon: You're an empath. You're basically cheating
Raven: You think I won because I'm an empath?! Hahaha! Honey, I didn't win because I'm an empath, I won because I'm a Constantine. And a Constantine always wins in cards.
Damian: It's true. I can't even beat her at UNO
