Mike Schmidt x female! Reader
Tumblr media
| masterlist | bc: @cafekitsune | request |
Tumblr media
A= Aftercare (what they’re like after the act)
— would bring you towels and clean you up, a glass of water if your throat gets sore from moaning so much, and cuddle while praising you softly.
B= Body part (favorite body part their own or their lovers)
— his eyes because you compliment them so much (HIS EYES ARE SO PRETTY AHHH) but for you, it's your hands, loves to hold them during sex or just in general. It's very comforting for him.
C= Cum (anything that has to do with it)
— loves to cum on your pussy, just something about your folds being smeared with his hot seed gets him going, it's sexy for him.
D= Dirty secret (Pretty self-explanatory)
— would steal your panties to jerk off at work (like in the pizzeria while he's bored out of his mind staring at the cameras)
E= Experience (do they know what they’re doing)
— He had a couple of flings and that's it, his experience is average, body count is perhaps six. So it's a complete 50/50.
F= Favorite position
— RIDING. He gives me a pillow prince vibes sometimes he just wants to lay down as you take your pleasure while riding his cock without him doing much of the work. Also because he loves to suck your tits and see them bounce as you ride his cock so well.
G= Goofy (how serious are they)
— hmm, I don't think Mike is the type to be goofy during sex but sometimes he would say something that would make you cackle and he doesn't even know what made you laugh so much.
H= Hair (grooming habits)
— every couple of months he trims.
I= Intimacy (in the moment romantic or rough/dirty)
— would take his time while fucking you. His way of fucking is sensual, he's relieving so much of his stress while he's thrusting into your cunt. He's making sure to do it nice and slow, taking his time, until his muscles are completely relaxed when he cums.
J= Jack off (do they masturbate and how often)
— mike would masturbate whenever you're not near, he usually masturbates at his work when he's missing you so much. He takes his phone out and pulls out a picture of yours he had taken or carries one of your used panties on him at all times.
K= Kink (kinks what they like possibly unusual)
— edging, bondage (him getting tied), breeding kink, overestimation (receiving and giving), praising kink (receiving), cockwarming. He's so submissive and breedable. Tie him up and ride him until he's shooting loads after loads all the while he's begging that he can't cum anymore but his cock is hard and throbbing inside your walls. You reassure him while saying that a good boy could and would cum once again so who is he to deny you? Nobody, that's who.
L= Location (where they like to get it on)
— bedroom or at his work (since it's an abandoned pizzeria who would care), on the days when Abby is in her school, he would fuck you all over the house, the kitchen, the couch, the floor, no place is safe.
M= Motivation (things that make them tick/turn-ons)
— your interactions with Abby. You would talk to her so sweetly even when she's too focused on her drawings. You coax her to talk and eat and just be so sweet and patient with her. You remind him of his family before everything. He wants to have a family with you and rest assured your cunt is gonna be filled tonight.
Honorable mentions: You holding his hand, you praising him or helping him with anything in general. He has been alone for so long, trying to keep everything on his shoulders, even you bringing him breakfast in bed is enough, he would fall for you harder and fuck you even better.
N= No (turn offs or absolutely won’t do)
— anything that's too messy like watersports.
O= Oral (receiving or giving and how skillful they are)
— he would be so messy while eating pussy. He would suck at your clit too harshly, nipping at the sensitive swollen bud while his digits thrust into your walls. He takes his fingers out and licks them clean off your juices. He would lav at your pussy but he would always give special attention to your clit, he loves it as it swells up and how sensitive it can get so quickly and you have tears falling because you're just so overwhelmed and he repeats the process again and again because something about keep sucking your clit just does it for him.
When you're sucking him off though, he's so gentle about it. In complete contrast while he's eating you. He murmurs your encouragements and he strokes your hair. Giving your mouth shallow thrusts, making sure you don't gag, and warning you before he would cum, letting you decide whether he should cum in your mouth or on your face.
P= Pace (how fast they are and how long they last in bed)
— unless you beg him to go fast or you're the one controlling the pace, he fucks into you in a sensual, lazy manner. Sex is less about the sexual pleasure for him and more about letting his stress go. Letting off his tense muscles while each thrust just makes him melt in you.
Q= Quickie (do they prefer fast and hard)
— unless he's desperate, like in the mornings minutes before he has to drop Abby to school, he isn't much for quickies. Would rather just take his time, if he can't have you at the moment then he would wait until he can.
R= Risk (do they like to try new things)
— mike is willing to experiment, just not that much. He's very vanilla.
S= Stamina (how many times they can go and how long each round lasts)
— since his pace as I mentioned would be pretty darn slow, he could last for hours, he would ignore your pleas to cum with an annoyed sush or his palm over your mouth so your begging is muffled and doesn't influence him. And since he could last for hours, he wouldn't do more than two rounds of sex in one day. He would keep his cock inside after finishing just so he can slowly fuck you again when he stops feeling like jelly.
T= Toys (are they game for using sex toys on themselves or lovers)
— oh! He would use a vibrator on you, especially while eating you. Him sucking on your clit while the vibrator is at its highest setting. He only does it when Abby is having sleepovers with Vennesa (I have obviously decided to ignore the canon events of the movie roll with it) You would be mewling and moaning so much that the neighbors would complain the next morning but it doesn't matter to either of you, not when you squirt on his face and he laps your cum as it flows down past the vibrator.
U= Unfair (how do they tease or do they enjoy suspense themselves)
— not much of a teaser but would love getting teased when he's in a much more submissive mood. Just keep giving him praises, love bites, and body worship him, he would be such putty in your hands if you knew what to do. He can even cum untouched just from being teased.
V= Volume (are they loud, what sounds, and do they talk)
— HE'S A GROANER, HE MOANS AND WHIMPERS AND WHINES. he's a loser so it's canon, he tries his best to stop his sounds, biting his lower until it bleeds, or stuffing his face into the crook of your neck, his mouth onto your pulse, sucking the skin to stop his whines or stuffing his face into the pillow to stop a whimper.
W= Wild card (random sin canon of any sort)
– he had a threesome once with you and Vanessa. He hadn't touched her, not even a kiss, too busy giving you attention. He would fuck your ass as Venassa fucks you with a strap-on. He would get jealous but he cum so hard after seeing the two of you kiss. His ex-crush with his girlfriend, never in life that he thought that would be possible.
X= X-ray (what’s down below in dem pants)
— average girth but a bit tall. Six inches with a brown mushroom tip. Uncut.
Y= Yearning (sex drive level)
— i wouldn't say he has a high sex drive but at least thrice a week, you're getting dick down by him.
Z= Zzzz (do they sleep after if so how quickly after)
— after aftercare, it wouldn't take him much longer to sleep, five mins max, he's just so relaxed, he's gonna get the best sleep ever with you in his arms.

ೀ-one last time
pairing: abby anderson x fem!reader
warnings: reader is a cheater, open ending, bad grammar, lack of vocabulary lol that’s it i think. don’t keep scrolling i’ll get better over time!!
summary: so one last time i need to be the one who takes you home ;) (lyrics from the song bbg)
a/n: okay so it took me like 5 days to write this , please please interact likes, reblogs, and comments are appreciated but not mandatory!! if there any grammar, punctuation, mispelling lmk!! i would listen to the song after reading this but it is a popular song you probably already heard of it. also is this giving wattpad core ?? that’s like my biggest fear, okay shutting up posting this and now i’m throwing my phone across the room!!
Tumblr media
it’s becoming more and more physically impossible to pull yourself away from your bed. only thing inducing you to get up was your nine to five job. you sighed and wearily pushed your hands on the bed and looked at your pillow. there was a big wet spot on your pillow. why were you crying? you were the one who messed up, you were the one who lied, it’s been five months why couldn’t you just get over it. you jumped off your bed and walked over to vanity desk and grabbed your phone. immediately you clicked on the instagram icon, for the past five months this became apart of your daily routine, abby. you tried to resist stalking her page but she was really unforgettable. you scrolled through all of her gym photos, photos with friends , and photos and videos she still had up of the two of you. you didn’t really know what that meant, at first you thought it meant she missed you, so you tired to contact her but she always left you on seen. you clicked on her profile picture icon to see what she posted on her story.
oh, you didn’t see that coming. it was photo of her and some girl, the girl was kissing her on the cheek and her arms wrapped around abby neck while abby made duck face, one hand holding the phone towards a bathroom mirror and the other on the girls waist.
the picture was caption: happy two months baby!! i love you more than words can explained :)
two months? so it only took her three months to get over you while your suffering everyday, always wishing you go back five months in time so you could take back that one moment that’s been repeating in your head every single day , that moment wasn’t even the worst part it was abby little puppy dog eyes when she found out, god you felt so awful then, all you wanted to do was stick a knife down your throat, you still do now.
you swipe off of instagram and deleted the app, you got enough of that. you open your message app and texted your boss telling her that you had fever and you weren’t able to make it, you needed a little break. you’ve been working nonstop for five months , you needed something to distract your mind.
it was a friday after all, just because abby moved on doesn’t mean you have to spend it depressed and cooped up in your bed. maybe you could hang out with your friends, you still had a decent amount of those. actually no, all your friends were shared with abby and if they still talk to abby, which they most certainly do, they would know abby’s girlfriend. if you asked to hangout with them, they would invite abby and she would invite her girlfriend, absolutely not. maybe a frat party, there was a decent amount of those too, a perfect way to meet new people and to get over somebody, you used to go to a lot. thats actually how you meant abby , that’s how you lost her too.
the thing was you have been so out of the mix lately, you haven’t heard the word frat party since five months ago. there always a party on friday, right? dina, dina, dina, dina, she would know she goes to almost everyone. plus you guys still keep in contact. you open your message app and clicked her contact name.
y/n: hey dee, is there a frat party going on tonight? cs i kinda wanna go to one, pls lmk
dee: oh wowww looks who finally wants to come out their shell, haha yes there is one at 11 can i come over a 10 with some stuff so we can get ready??
y/n: yea sound great
now what to do till ten, you could get up and get some coffee, walk to the park, make some breakfast, read a book. nope, you decided to download instagram again , log back into your account and stalk abby. you sighed, was it really that easy for her to forget about you, get over you? maybe she wasn’t over you, she still had your pictures up! messaging her again wouldn’t hurt, you thought.
you click on the message button and look at all your previous messages, all of them including an “i’m sorry, please just listen to me.” your only contact with her was instagram because she blocked you everywhere else. you were always puzzled as to why she blocked you everywhere else but not instagram. you hesitated before typing and deleted a couple of sentences and finally you were satisfied.
“hey abby, i’m sorry to bother you on your anniversary and stuff but i just want to tell you somethings i felt like i really didn’t have time to explain, first of all i’m truly and deeply sorry from like the bottom of my heart. it was never my intentions to hurt you , it just happen i was drunk out of my mind and the whole time i thought about you, i hated myself for doing that to you and i wanted to tell you before she did but i chocked imma fucking coward i know , i’m sorry abby. i don’t deserve you at all but i miss you.”
it’s not like she actually was going to reply but you still wanted to express yourself, what you really wanted was her to forgive you but that’s never going to happen. you still had several hours left before dina came over , you decided to take a nap.
⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂ ⠂⠄⠄⠂⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂
you were woken up to the static of your intercom, you whined and look for your phone with your hands scavenging around your bed. your eyes were dazzled by the brightness of your phone screen, it was 10:13 and you had loads of text from dina, you got up and pressed the door button to your intercom and open your apartment door and stood at the threshold.
“how long are your staying?” you sarcastically questioned dina as she walked up the stairs with a travel suitcase.
“i brung options, i know how picky you are.”
when dina walked in she gazed around your apartment, like she’s never been in there before.
“i feel like i haven’t been in here forever, it still looks the same.” you let out a little chuckle.
“i brought everything, shirts, shorts, skirts, dresses, jeans. here pick out what you want,” she shoved the suitcase towards you. “imma gonna to do my hair in the bathroom.”
you tugged on the zipper moving it around the suitcase and opened the top, you eyes were met with a variety collection of clothes. you didn’t really think about what to wear. a nice top and shorts would be fine. before you had the chance to grab an outfit you heard your phone buzz, you reached over and grabbed it- no fucking way! abby had message you back, we’re you dreaming ? you took the back of your hand and firmly rubbed your eyes, gazed back at your screen and nope this is real, quickly you clicked on the message and your phone automatically unlocks.
“can you stop, no like actually i had enough. all those other messages i ignored, but cmon on my fucking anniversary. my girlfriend and i are happy and i don’t need you back in my life. i don’t need any source of reminder of you. doesn’t matter how many times you say sorry it doesn’t take back what you did! and i asked you and you lied! stop it i don’t care anymore, leave me alone before i block you, this shit is super annoying.”
geez that was awful, we’re you really that annoying? you were just trying to express yourself, she never gave you chance to actually explain she just went off of what the girl told her, but you did lie and what did you expect? for everything to be all happy and sunshine, for her to read your message and want to get back together? but there no actually way that sh-
“what are you doing?” dina giggled as she walked in the living area, her hair was straightened down with a middle part. you didn’t realize how long and deep you had been into your thoughts, fuck that was embarrassing.
“nothing, i was just thinking about um some stuff.”
“well can you think about what your going to wear, cmon let’s go!”
⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂ ⠂⠄⠄⠂⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂
this party’s stinks, no like actually it stinks, it smells like sweat, must, and ass. and you weren’t really having fun, a couple of people try to flirt with you and got some girls number, made out with like two of them but none of them gave you that same tingly feeling you had when you met abby.
“dee, i’m gonna head to the bathroom,” you informed dina, she waved you off and continued talking with some guy, the three of y’all were sitting on some torn up leather couch along with some others. you were scrolling on your phone the whole time, and peeling the leather off of the couch. you made your way upstairs where you assumed the bathroom would be and it was, there wasn’t a line but someone was in there, so you patiently waited on the side of the door.
and as if it was by fate or the universe just really wanted to be entertained right now, guessed who walked out of the bathroom. abby fucking anderson.
her eyes kinda widened and her lips slightly parted, she look like she just seen a ghost, she took a deep breath and you saw her chest moved and back down, like she was in awestruck or something. the staring between to both of you felt like it would last an eternity, in reality it probably only lasted five seconds until she scoffed and walked away making sure to bump your shoulder.
“abby abby! please wait,” you yelled chasing after her, she was walking fast so you started speed walking to catch up, when you did you grab her wrist in attempt for her to stop.
“get the fuck off of me!” she fumed and spun around and stopped walking. “what the fuck do you not understand? i don’t wanna see you, leave me alone!”
“abby please, one more time! just this once and i’ll leave you alone forever please,” you sniffled. you didn’t want to cry but shit. the anger in her face kinda soften. and you two stood there for what felt like an eternity again.
“cmon,” she finally said while she grabbed your hand and led you into a empty bedroom. she let go of your hand and closed the door behind her, and sat on a unmade bed.
“this better be worth my fucking time, go!”
“it is! i swear, i- i just don’t exactly what to say, i mean i’ve been waiting to speak to you for months and i missed you so much abby, there’s not a day that went by that i didn’t think of you and-,” you rambled out but was eventually cut off by abby.
“okay so what exactly do you want to talk about, i know what happen , i know you lied, and i know you regret it and all that bullshit but we’re not getting back together, my girlfriend is downstairs waiting for me and i’m going to keep her because she doesn’t cheat and lie.”
“i know but , i just wanna put this past us and i know we can’t be together but i don’t wanna be friends either, i can’t stand to see you with someone else, i feel like- i don’t know like we were meant to be, it’s corny i know. and i know she’s probably a good person, probably the best you ever had, but i’ve been miserable, i don’t want to be without you,” you expressed, you walked closer to the unmade bed where abby was sitting and gently caressed her shoulder, she looked nervous but at the same time it was how she always used to look at you when you two were a couple.
“what are you doing,” she said uncertain, low, and shy. she was looking down at her leg which was bobbing up and down.
“i don’t wanna think about it,” you breathed, and pulled abby into a kiss. it didn’t last long but it was loving and for three seconds you swore she kissed you back until she pulled away.
“i can’t- this is wrong i have-.”
“don’t think about it ,i know you want it too, just one last time.”

DAY FIVE
Today was a rollercoaster of emotions. I had less than three hours of sleep and didn't eat until I joined the group. I felt incredibly stressed at work because they gave me last-minute tasks on a Friday with a tight deadline, and I had to keep sneaking away to the bathroom to let out my tears. I just felt so alone.
Virna offered me a ride to the pumpkin patch, and I accepted, even though I hadn't planned on going. I didn't want to be surrounded by couples because it would only make me miss you more. And as it turns out, I was right. It was my first time at the Carlsbad pumpkin patch, and all I could think about was how much you would've enjoyed it. People were asking where you were, and I simply said you were with your friends at Oktoberfest. Everyone clung to their plus ones, and there I was, picturing you with me. The pumpkin patch had plenty of perfect spots for couple pictures, so I ended up becoming the photographer. Eventually, they must have felt sorry for me and insisted I take a picture with them, but it only made me feel more alone.
Sitting at the dinner table with them was also tough. They talked about couple costumes and their plans. Virna and Leighton are dressing up as Cosmo and Wanda, Darren and Amy as Beast Boy and Raven, and Abby and Clayton as something called "Undead Girl Murder Farce," whatever that is. When they asked what we were going to be, I had no answer. That's why I texted you to see if you were going to Jenna's. I found myself drifting off, as everyone was engrossed in their conversations with their plus ones, while all I could think about was you.
I hope you had a great time with your friends tonight. I believe you have the Alzheimer's walk tomorrow, so you're probably sleeping by now. Virna mentioned that she's going with a friend and I mentioned that you'll be there too.
I discovered another song that uses a race metaphor to show how the artist and their ex-lover are moving on from their relationship. In the metaphor, the ex-lover is "running faster" or moving on more quickly, while the artist seems to be taking her time at the starting line. I am in love with the lyrics.
Finish Line by Delaney Bailey
Well, I love you. Goodnight.

My man and our queen
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner x Reader
Words: 1.3k
Summary: You didn't think Aaron Hotchner is much of a pet person, until one morning he didn't come to bed with you.
A/N: Pure fluff, cute af. I had to write this as my cat has been cuddled up with me all day.
Work at the BAU is hectic. You don’t have a regular schedule, call for a case can come whenever. You can handle it, you’re used to it. But of course it gets overwhelming at times. But as you have been observing your partner’s, your team leader’s schedule, it seems ten times more intense than yours. A lot of ropes to hold in his hands at all times, yet he manages to make it look almost easy. His team is in very capable hands and you are very proud to be a part of his team.
But what makes you even happier is the fact that he’s all yours, outside of office. For as long as you can remember, you’ve been so attracted to him. He’s extremely handsome, yet he doesn’t believe it himself. He’s humble and his smile could light up the whole world. And once you got to know him, you were a goner. You fell in love with him. His softer side. And after months of frustration, he asked you out. You had no idea that he shared those feelings with you.
All that happened about 6 months ago. You’ve seen so many different sides of the man, that you had a hard time believing it was the same man. At the office, he’s so put together and professional. Outside of the office, he loves running and he’s a great cook. He can be super gentle, vulnerable and loving, but you also love when he gets rough with you.
Tonight, you had gotten home about an hour ago from a case. It was a rather short one, only one night away from home. You come home with Aaron, who had promised to cook for the two of you. Most of the time you spend time at your apartment, because you have a cat, whom you love very much, and you don’t want to be away from her for too long. And Aaron doesn’t mind. She’s mostly white with some brown spots around her fur. Abby, an absolute sweetheart and loves being held, unlike any other cat you’ve met. You’ve had her for 6 years, and you couldn’t picture your life without a cat anymore.
Hotch was making dinner as you were playing with Abby. You got on the floor to play with her toy mouse, throwing it around. You could feel Aaron’s eyes on you and heard a little laugh come out of him here and there.
The night came fast, both of you being tired after the case. You were just about to go to bed, when Hotch’s phone rang. And like a switch, his tone got deeper and stern. “Hotchner” he answered. You sigh as you were sure it would be a call for another case. He listened carefully and instead of telling you to get ready he asked “Can I borrow your laptop? I left mine at the office”.
You nod and tell him it’s in the living room. He tells you that he will be back in a moment. You’re relieved that it wasn’t for another case, but you’re a bit upset that Aaron doesn’t seem to get much of a break from work. You settle down and Abby jumps on your lap. You open the tv and watch the evening news, hoping by the time it ends, Aaron would back with you then. Unfortunately, you can still hear his voice in the living room, talking on the phone. With a sigh, you close the tv after the news and lay down. You were so excited to cuddle with him tonight and fall asleep in his arms, head on his strong chest. Laying like that with him, it solves the world of hurt. Hearing him whisper sweet words to your ear as you’re falling asleep, feeling him kiss your forehead. His breathing is so calm when he falls asleep. It feels safe.
Your alarm rings at the same time every morning, at 6.30am. Today is not an exception. But you do feel like something’s missing, as you wake up. And in this case, it was someone. Had Aaron not gotten to bed all night? You didn’t feel his hands around you, you don’t hear his groan when the alarm goes off. Not the usual sleepy ‘Good morning’ s. You turn to look on his side of the bed. Everything looked untouched.
You hop up quickly and go to look for the man. Getting out so quickly from the warm covers, you feel chilly in your t-shirt and panties. But you wanted to know where your boyfriend was before even thinking of getting dressed. Hopefully he hasn’t been working all night.
“Aaron?” you call for his name but get no response. What you do hear instead was his little snore coming from the living room. It made you smile and you couldn’t help but take a picture of the view you had in front of you once you reached the living room:
Your boyfriend asleep on your couch, head resting on one of the pillows and his calves resting on the armrest. He had your warm gray blanket on him. He looked very calm. The best part of it all was that Abby was cuddled up with the sleeping man. Her front paws resting on his shoulder, head between them.
You stepped closer as silently as you could and took a picture of the two. You couldn’t help but smile. The view was so precious and you were no longer upset that Aaron hadn’t come to bed with you that night. Abby raises her head slightly and looks at you, blissful look on it’s face; slowly blinking at you. She started to purr. You pet her little head and scratch her favourite spot behind her ear. You get on your knees and kiss Aaron to his temple. “Good Morning, baby” you whisper and see his lips turning into a smile.
“Good morning, gorgeous.” he responds and opens his eyes to look deep into yours. “I'm sorry I didn’t come to bed. I was on the phone for about an hour and Miss Abby was asleep on my lap. And I know, it’s a crime to get up when a cat has chosen to sleep on you. I thought I’d wait it out, but apparently I fell asleep at some point myself.” He turns his head and you lean in to kiss him.
“That is a very valid excuse” you rest your forehead against his for a moment before you get up. “I will put on some coffee, get up when you can”. You walk to the kitchen and hear Abby running behind you, meowing for breakfast. You hear the man getting up and starting to get ready for the day.
About 10 minutes later, he comes behind you, wrapping his arms around you and resting his head on your shoulder. He was suited up in one of his gorgeous black suits and a blue tie around his neck. He asks you what you are doing, as you were on your phone’s photo gallery.
“Oh nothing much. Just changing my lockscreen to this beautiful picture of my handsome man and our queen” You show him the picture on your phone’s wallpaper. He hugs you tightly and kisses your neck. You are now sure he approves your decision.
You didn’t think of your boyfriend to be much of a pet person. You wouldn’t think of FBI team leader to be such a soft, teddy bear. But you know better, and can’t wait to show the photo to your team members. They’re gonna get a kick out of it.
Aaron didn’t mind, he was happy it made you smile. and he’d do anything to make you smile.

There weren’t many things considered as decorations in the house on the corner of Inglewood Street. The old stone house, with its black shutters and manicured lawn hid behind a stately oak and the polished Porsche in the driveway, glowed as a beacon in the neighborhood, of perfection and wealthy modesty. Inside, it was less populated than one might expect, never fully lived-in, at least not to the casual observer.
Clarke moved her way down the stairs as she balanced the bag on her shoulder, fully prepared for work and then studying with her girlfriend on a fairly boring Saturday night. For the first time in a long time, she looked at the sparse frames of pictures of her family.
Unsure of what made her pause, she furrowed, pushing her eyebrows tightly together and leaning into the image of her mother and father on a random date when they were together in college. They were carefree and at some bar trivia night. Abby hugged Jake’s bicep and nearly hid in his shoulder as he leaned forward, other arm lifted to interject an answer. He was smiling wide despite his eagerness, the flash ricocheting off part of his large glasses. His hair was floppy and fully, swept to the side and neatly arranged, while Abby was brimming with life. Clarke loved the candid picture because sometimes she looked at it, and these were two people who had entire lives and experiences and she forgot that. They probably got butterflies like she did when Lexa smiled at her. They probably spent hours excitedly waiting to see the other.
In that picture, her mother wasn’t the person she was now, though both seemed insanely far away from Clarke. This college-aged person was alive, vibrant, in-love, awake, eager, and not cheating on her husband. The body language alone showed how much she adored him.
In that picture, her father was the funny, charming man she remembered, not the angry, frustrated man who was skin and bones, who couldn’t eat, who couldn’t swallow, who had difficulties moving most days and remembering his own daughter others. He was alive as well. He was the man everyone wanted to sit beside for some reason, for som inexplicable reason he had this… he had a spark that drew those to him like a moth to a flame, except he was that flame, and he shared his light eagerly with those around him.
Clarke relaxed her face after a few moments of looking and seeing and trying to find some kind of detail in that picture that would indicate that the couple in it would know what their life would like like two decades later. There wasn’t a single indication, and that terrified her.
“Did you finish you math?” her mother’s voice called from the hallway, hearing her daughter shift and move to look at the next picture without seeing her first.
“Yes.”
The next image was a very tiny Clarke on her father’s shoulders and her mother hugging his waist as they all stood beneath a redwood tree. They had hiking gear, shorts, sunglasses, hats and sunscreen. They were all smiling. They were a family.
“Did you email me that draft of your personal essay for applications?”
Clarke gave up perusing, no longer feeling the yearn for that family unit that was far away. She rolled her eyes and stomped her way down the steps to find her mother sorting through envelopes and mail.
“No.”
“Why not?” Abby didn’t look up as she flipped.
“Because I’m a junior, and I have five months before applications are due.”
“That’s no excuse not to be prepared. Maybe if you didn’t spend so much time chasing after some gir--”
“Who am I chasing after?” Clarke scoffed, crossing her arms and peering at her mother. “Do you mean helping Lexa on her submission for film school? Do you mean tennis practice? Do you mean working part time? Do you mean having a social life?”
“Considerate that you can help someone else get into college.”
“It’s going to take her months to edit, which I can’t-- I don’t have to explain myself to you.”
That did it. Clarke knew it would. Clarke new an overt expression of her own independence would trigger her mother. She knew arguing and not appearing to care about college would give her the satisfaction of a righteous fight. She wanted it. It’d been brewing for about a week and a half, ever since Clarke said she was going prom dress shopping without her. Ever since Clark forgot to tell her about spending the night camping with Lexa and the film crew while the powered through the project. Ever since Clarke didn't’ come home for dinner last Tuesday and then raved about Mrs. Woods’ garlic chicken. Tiny things Clarke did with spite because she didn’t know what else to do, because she couldn’t do anything else.
Abby’s nostrils flared and Clarke jutted her hip, shrugging to herself as she dug for her phone, ready to go to work and escape the house and the persistent smell of medical equipment and cleaner that haunted her until she was about two blocks from the house.
“I’ll be home around midnight.”
“Like hell you will. You’ll be home right after your shift.”
“No,” Clarke paused as she turned to leave. “I’m going over Lexa’s to study. We’re watching a Cary Grant movie.”
“You’re under the misconception that you get to make your own schedule and plans without asking permission. But that is not the case, Clarke.”
“I’ve been doing fine.”
“You’ve barely been home. Your father is--”
“Right there, in that room, asleep. I know this because I spent the morning with him. We made pancakes and played a game of cribbage. We talked about school and Lexa and I showed him pictures of the past week of my life. And I helped him with his meds because he’s having a bit of a flare. I told him I’d see him in the morning for omelettes because we’ve been watching cooking shows together and he wants to try the french style. I know exactly what is going on with my father.”
She hadn’t meant to, but her voice began to raise as she spoke. Clarke felt her fist shake. She felt her muscles tighten and her jaw clench. She was okay with being considered lazy and unmotivated, but to be accused of negligence was uncalled for, especially from someone like her mother.
“Don’t you raise your voice! You are greatly mistaken as to the nature of our relationship. I am your mother, and I am sick of your attitude, and your priorities not being your father and your family or your education.”
“Lexa has nothing to do with any of that. Are you just mad I’m dating a girl? Or that I don’t care what you think anymore?”
Slightly taken aback by her daughter, by her words, by her actions, by her entire demeanor over the past few months and frankly just sick of dealing with being the bad guy.
“I don’t even know who you are anymore,” Abby shook her head.
“I could say the same thing.”
The two stared at each other before Clarke shook her head and adjusted her bag. She toyed with her keys in her pockets before checking her phone again.
“I’m going to be late for work. I’ll be back tonight.”
“You’re not going anywhere,” Abby insisted again. “You’re grounded indefinitely.”
“Except I’m not,” Clarke sighed and shook her head. “I’m not because I don’t care anymore. I genuinely don’t.”
“You’re going to. Give me your keys and your phone.”
“No.”
“I’m not joking, Clarke. You’re going to need to readjust your priorities and attitude.”
“I think you should take your own advice,” Clarke insisted as she reached the front door. “Or are you too busy fucking Kane to realize that there is no more family here?”
With a satisfying slam, she yanked the door shut. The anger that was stationed in her shoulders dissipated with the noise and movement. Clarke stood there in the quiet of her perfect neighborhood, the flapping of the flag lazily moving in the spring breeze was all she heard at first. Then the birds came. Then a lawnmower started in the distance.
Clarke felt lighter than she’d felt in a long time. She also felt emptier than any other time in her life. It was officially the end, and now she had to deal with that because the anger and the hurt and the betrayal was all she’d had in her for what felt like months. It hadn’t made anything better, and it certainly ruined everything, but Clarke took some solace in the fact that now she could try to fill herself up with something else.
XXXXXXXXXX
The party at Bellamy Blake’s house was in full swing by the time Lexa made her way up the winding driveway and into the belly of the beast. She wasn’t sure how she ended up there exactly, except that her girlfriend texted and said to show up. That seemed to be enough of a reason, though Lexa wasn’t particularly prepared. They’d had plans. Quiet plans. Private plans. Movie plans.
And now Lexa was going to her girlfriend’s ex’s party.
She shoved her hands in her pockets as she moved through the crowd, clearly not getting the memo that jeans were not entirely good enough attire, and in fact she seemed to be extremely overdressed. Her eyes bugged slightly as she watched a girl from her physics class walk by in a very tiny, very teeny lime green bikini. Lexa became suddenly aware of the appeal of such things, as if she hadn’t noticed them before, but then MIchelle who sat diagonally in front of her third period looked like that and she gulped.
The music thumped loudly. The beats were rattling the walls and shaking the windows while the screams and giggles of her classmates sought to shatter glass. It wasn’t like the other parties she’d been to with Clarke. It wasn’t even like thrones Anya dragged her to when she visited. This was a night of debauchery and she hadn’t had time to prepare.
And as much as she saw everyone else wearing bikinis, she hadn’t thought about Clarke wearing one. She’d seen Clarke’s boobs before. That was nice. But there was something to her girlfriend in a bikini that was… good. Very good, even.
Lexa pushed her glasses up slightly on her nose and stared.
“What are you doing here?” Gus asked, approaching quietly. She didn’t move or say anything else, just stared from across the pool, the steam billowing upward to ward the sky while everyone seemed to glow blue and green and red, the lights alternating around them, the flames of the fire pits dancing to keep everyone warm. The warm glow of the lights inside were lost on the white-blue shade to the water.
“Lexa, focus,” he snapped his fingers in front of her face. “What are you doing here? Your sister would kill me if she knew you were at a Blake party.”
“How is it different than any other party?”
“It just is.”
“Because of the pool? I’ve been to pool parties.”
It hadn’t been since seventh grade and didn’t look like an episode of a CW show, but still, she’d been to a pool party with many of the same cast of characters that were currently on display. It was before puberty, but still.
“We need to get you home.”
“Clarke invited me.”
“It doesn’t matter. This isn’t your scene.”
“I can be in any scene. I’ve watched every John Hughes movie.”
“This is more of an episode of Euphoria than an 80s teen flick,” Gus sighed and took another swig from his cup. “And I fully believe you would fit in fine with Molly Ringwald.”
“That’s very kind of you to say,” Lexa nodded. “I’ll be fine.”
She took her eyes off of her girlfriend long enough to assure her friend that she was perfectly fine now. She was dating the head cheerleader. She’d been to parties and seen--
“Gus-- is that cocaine?”
“Okay, yeah, we have to get you out of here,” he shook his head and tossed his empty cup into a flowerbed.
“Is it really?” she asked, craning her neck as he pushed her forward. “I’ve never see that in real life before. People actually do that thing with the credit cards and dollar bills? Astounding. Where does one get cocaine?”
“You don’t need to know that.”
“I’m not going to do it. I’m just curious.”
They only made it a few steps before the ran into a sopping body. A tall, muscular, tan, perfectly chiseled and dripping body. It was the body of an actual god. It was the body of the perfect specimen, with biceps and the long swimmer cuts that pointed firmly toward his… his-ness.
“Gus, long time, man. How you been?” Bellamy Blake grinned before slipping his cup in his teeth as he hugged the other football player.
“Not too bad. Heard you’re heading to Oregon in the fall?”
“Yeah, partial scholarship. We’ll see what happens,” he shrugged. “Staying close?”
“Yeah, St. Johns, about three hours away.”
“Full ride?”
“Yeah. I got offered half to OSU, but would rather not have to pay anything.”
“No, that’s smart.”
The whole time they spoke, Lexa watched Clarke’s ex intently. She frowned to herself and wondered how her girlfriend broke up with him. He was effortlessly cool. He was huge. He looked like he knew how to go down on a girl, and Lexa was still apprehensive. She wished she could fast forward in life until she was really good at sex.
She watched him grin and sip from his red cup, meeting her eyes curiously as Gus explained something about his college recruitment process.
“I don’t think we’ve ever met before. I’m Bellamy.”
He held out his hand. And though she didn’t want to do it, she sighed and shook his hand.
“Sorry, I should have introduced you. This is Lexa.”
“Lexa… Lexa…” He mulled.
“Anya Woods’ sister.”
“Wow, you’re Anya’s little sister?”
“Yeah.”
“How is she? I forgot she had a little sister. I remember her little brother died-- oh shit.”
“Yeah.”
“We were just heading out,” Gus interrupted.
“I was actually just going to go talk to Clarke.”
“Why would you--”
Before anything else could be said, before anything else could transpire between the two of them, before Gus had to interrupt again, Clarke appeared, launching herself into her girlfriend’s arms, wrapping her own around her neck, her body still slightly damp from the pool she must have just climbed out of during the awkward introduction.
“You’re here. I’m so happy,” Clarke hummed against Lexa’s warm neck. She buried herself there, suffocating herself happily, slightly tipsy.
“I told you I’d stop by.”
Clarke kissed her girlfriend’s neck. She leaned most of her body against her there and giggled, oblivious to the eyes, too drunk to care about anything else happening.
“I am have the worst day. Maybe the worst week. Maybe the worst year ever. No, wait. Definitely the worst year, and today I finally told my mom everything and then left. So Yeah. It’s been terrible. I got drunk.”
“Not the healthiest coping mechanism.”
“Not a bit,” Clarke grinned, agreeing eagerly and with a wide grin. She leaned forward and kissed her girlfriend despite her words.
“You can be healthy tomorrow,” Lexa offered. “You okay?”
“As okay as can be.”
There was some throat clearing that happened behind them, and Lexa felt a burning in her ears and chest at the display, unaccustomed to it all.
“So this is your new girlfriend?” Bellamy asked, looking at the pair.
“Lex, I suppose you’ve met my ex,” Clarke gestured.
“Kind of.”
“Is this party a little much?”
“If I remember correctly, this was exactly the kind of thing you liked. We went to many a party in our tenure,” Bellamy shrugged, lazily leaning against a counter. “Things changed since I left, I guess.”
“I enjoyed not thinking,” Clarke offered. “You were great for that.”
Gus and Lexa looked between the two and then at each other. She was almost certain she didn’t know what was happening, but that certainly, something was, and she wasn’t sure how she felt about it.
“You moved on quick, huh?”
“Hey, step back,” Gus interrupted as Bellamy took a single step. “This is Anya’s sister.”
“Woods?” he furrowed. “You’re dating Anya Woods’ kid sister?”
“Yup,” Clarke nodded.
“I heard she was--”
“Standing right here,” Gus finished.
Lexa felt Clarke’s hand move into her own and she smiled despite the fact that she was picking up a drunk girl at her college guy ex’s party. There was a lot in that sentence she wasn’t happy about, now that she thought about it.
“You ready to get out of here?” Lexa asked innocently, ignoring the rest.
“I think we still have a few more shots lined up, Clarke,” Bellamy smiled and Lexa understood the need to punch.
Noticeably torn, she looked at her girlfriend and back at her ex before realizing that she was actually drunk, and that wasn’t good. Lexa smiled softly and rubbed her girlfriend’s back. She kind of imagined how it must have felt to implode and take her mother down with her. Lexa remembered the feeling of telling her father she was gay and sad. Clarke’s implosion didn’t seem as successful as her own, and Lexa was more than happy to try to help in whatever way she could.
“Can I stay at your place tonight?”
“Yeah,” Lexa nodded quickly. “I’ll text my mom to let her know.”
“You’re seriously leaving?” The college football player and terrible ex scoffed. “The night is still young. It’s barely after eleven.”
“Thanks for getting me drunk, but I should probably go do something better.”
“Thanks for showing me around,” Lexa offered nodding her head slightly toward the host before he could argue. “Have a good night. I’ll see you on Monday, Gus.”
“Get home safe,” the linebacker warned.
Slightly dumbfounded, Bellamy Blake stood there, hands on his hips as he watched his ex weave through the crowd of people and disappear. As much s everything stayed the same, he couldn’t shake the sinking feeling of change, and how averse he was to it.
XXXXXXXXXX
“Here, you can, uh,” Lexa quickly moved through her bedroom, leaving her girlfriend standing by the bed. “I have some old sweats if you want.”
Already, Clarke began taking off her pants, and Lexa quickly looked in the drawers of her dresser. She felt the tips of her ears burn slightly as she looked over her shoulder, her girlfriend slumping into the bed, pants lost to the floor.
“I knew I shouldn’t have gone to that party. I knew it,” Clarke sighed, rubbing her face with both hands to ride herself of the spinning. “But I didn’t care. I just wanted to… you know…”
“You had it out with your mom. You just anted to go far away. I get it.”
“Don’t be nice to me. I knew better than to go, especially to anything involving Bellamy Blake.”
“Why?”
“He doesn’t care about any of it. Just has drinks. I should have called you or like done something else.”
“You’re allowed to want to take a night off from a giant secret after a huge fight. And you don’t need my permission,” Lexa reminded her girlfriend, offering an old shirt.
“It was stupid.”
“Do you feel better?”
Gingerly, Lexa tugged at Clarke’s shirt, pulling it over her head until she flopped back down on the bed, her hair fanning out against the pillow. Agitated at herself, at her clothe, at the unfathomable uncontrollability to the entirety of her life, Clarke growled to herself as she tugged off her bra, tossing it to the side and gracelessly pulling on the shirt Lexa offered.
“I don’t feel better at all.”
It was certainly a pout, and Lexa did her best to ignore it. Instead, she slicked off the light beside the bed, and slid between the sheets next to Clarke. Lexa laid there until Clarke turned to face her, until she placed her hand on her neck and cheek.
“I’m sorry you had to pick me up.”
“It’s okay,” Lexa whispered.
“It’s not. I’m not like this… I don’t mean to be… I mean--”
“It’s okay.”
Clarke leaned forward, shifting beneath the blankets until their knees were touching. She moved to only push the hair from Lexa’s forehead and she paused before kissing her lips. She tasted the warmth of the tequila there and she didn’t care. Lexa signed.
“Please don’t give up on me anytime soon,” Clarke murmured. Stunned from the kiss, Lexa blinked in the dark and shifted closer.
“I wouldn’t ever.”
“I know you wouldn’t. I just had to say it out loud.”
“Okay.”
Lexa was certain she was going to get another kiss, but instead, Clarke dug her forehead under her girlfriend’s chin and pressed their bodies together, hugging her tightly and disappearing, being overwhelmed, anchoring herself to a steady force. Lexa rubbed Clarke’s back for a few moments until she fell asleep, and then she allowed herself the option of sleep.

Plant palace pt 7🌿
[background: the plant based girls John has age twice as fast as a human,John ran off to go raise them at an abnormal camp his mother leads. He’s been gone two years and working as part of the abnormal rebellion and rights activist.] [this is also where I’ve decided I’d rewrite some stuff in the future, but I’ll let you guys read the first part of this before I work through it again] [first part is kinda narrative]
John's heart hurt to leave the man he loved,he wanted to raise these small little babies with Eddie but things went sideways. John and Henry stopped by the house grabbing supplies and raising the babies there for a while, until they were tracked down by the government. Escaping to a hideaway,a camp where abnormals were safe and rebelled trying to fix the outrageous laws of America. As time went on the rights of Abnormals had gotten better, after riots and protests. John raises his little girls alongside his mom. She’d become an important person in his life more than ever, helping with the babies. The little ones blooming with gorgeous pink petals and hair,John letting his own flower like features grow too. John had freed and protected abnormals with his mother, learning more control over his abilities and discovering new things he never knew he could do. Abnormals had finally gained some rights in some more progressive states,no longer needing to hide in some states. The girls were (2) 4 years old now,he’d kept up with Eddie's online following and career, proud of him for taking off. John would listen to Eddie's album Greenhouse,he recognized the song Eddie sang when they first found out about the babies,it was the most popular one. John would always tell his little girls about their dad, showing them photos of him performing. He missed him and to the point it hurt. John's family could recognize that, and John discussed that he should finally go back. It was time for John to come back home.
Now Eddie.
2 years. It has been 2 years since John has left. In the beginning, he was questioned by the government but he gave half truth answers. Yes he was with John. No he didn’t know he was an Abnormal, thinking his boyfriend was able to have kids. No the kids weren’t his, John was already pregnant when they really got official. But because they weren’t giving him the answer, he was held for 6 months for harboring an Abnormal before being let go.
After that, he explained everything to his band and how this album was going to be it. He didn’t want to make music after. They supported his decision but helped him finish the album. He had songs named after the girls, after his time at Plant Palace, the short months he was with John. Be saved the best for last. The last song on the album, which he named “Greenhouse” was called “Eden.” It was an Ode to John, thinking that no one would even get to the end of the album.
But instead people found out and it reached #1 on the charts for a solid year. He was able to go to concerts which sparked his love for music again, but he couldn’t listen to the album himself. He refused to. He would play other music in his earbuds when he was in public in case Eden came on.
He ended up moving further into the city now that he made good money off his record sales and a couple of EPs. Bitty came along with him, the cat too sweet to part with and he had a feeling John would want him to watch her. The anger he first felt after discovering John ran had faded away and he accepted it. The younger man did talk about trying to find his people to help raise the girls, but Eddie wanted to do that. He wanted to be the cool dad.
Life moved on. Eddie moved on, but still held a special spot for John, if he ever got to see him again. He even picked up a new kitty who he named Leafy. Bitty was happy to get a cute little brother and it kept her occupied. Eddie was happy.
*****
Eddie yawned as he started to make his way home from another band practice. He and his band got the idea to write themselves each a song that they could relate to in the future. They might not make sense now, but they should when they’re older and split apart. It was late and all he wanted to do was hop in the shower, order some take out and pass out with the kitties on his lap.
While on his way home, he felt a tingle down his spine. Although it was night time, and he was walking alone, it was odd that someone might jump him, or it was local paparazzi following him to see if he had a special someone since his female fans were dying to know. So he stopped and waited for the heavy footsteps to stop.
“I’ll give you 5 seconds to turn around before I face you and deck you. I’m not in the mood for interviews or dealing with your shit.” He grumbled. He wasn’t the happy-go-lucky young band member anymore, he was a man with heartache.
There wasn’t a sound behind him, signaling the person to walk off or speak up. Eddie turned around, preparing for a recorder shoved into his face when his entire world stopped.
John stood there,he hadn’t heard Eddie's voice in a long time,at least when he wasn’t singing. His voice sounded tired and moody but it didn’t change how he felt when Eddie turned around. John had his hood up but he took it off when Eddie turned to face him. A shy half smile on the smaller man's face as he stood a few feet back from the singer. “Hey Eds…” John's hair was a little longer than before, not by much but it was longer;John looked pale, tired like an overworked parent but the energy about him was slightly different. He slowly approached Eddie hesitantly taking a step forward,he didn’t know what he should say. There was so much to apologize for,him running off with the babies not even a thing as a text and gone for two years. “It’s been a while...but since when did you cuss?” John tried to clear the air with teasing as he combed his fingers through his hair. His gaze flicking between staring at Eddie and at the ground attempting to hide the tears that glazed his eyes. Johns soft voice trembled the entire time.
Eddie felt like he died when he saw John. The anger he thought that went away was back. He clenched his fist and just looked at the younger man in front of him. He wanted to shout, scream, and yell, but instead he just turned around, continuing to walk to his house. He could hear the footsteps follow him as he got closer to his house only for him to stop again.
“I promised I’d be there…” He spoke, his voice getting ready to break. “But you went and broke that promise for me.” He turned to face John, tears falling, and screaming, letting his emotions loose. “You took my fucking kids! You ran from me instead of facing this together!”
John had expected something like this but it still made his insides shake. John couldn’t help but erupt with tears and watched the man in front of him go off.
“You think I wanted to leave you?...WATCH YOU FROM A DISTANCE?!?” His voice had turned into a yell,John never raised his voice.
“What do you think would’ve happened if I stayed there waiting, Eddie? The hospital called the government on me,they would’ve taken our girls! Would you rather me and the girls in a facility being experimented on?! Getting tortured?” He sighed frustrated still crying “I’ve counted the days..you don’t think I talk about you to them,do you think I haven’t listened to your album about our kids every day??”
He wiped his face shaking and turned to look away. “I get it..okay...I’m so sorry I left, but I warned you Eddie. I told you that it was dangerous and when I tried to contact you I found out you were detained for ‘harboring an abnormal’.” John took out a photo,it was a Polaroid. It showed the babies who’d begun to bloom their flowers.John was holding them in his lap, they were toddlers now and all dressed up,his mother was standing next to him holding one of the toddlers. He held it to Eddie “here..”
“I told you I would fight tooth and nail for them! I was so ready to take your place in a facility for your freedom.” Eddie was crying too.
Eddie wanted to argue more, but John silenced him by handing over the picture. It was a photo of John holding all three of the girls, and a larger woman behind them. He laughed quietly, so happy to see them and how big they had gotten.
“Why now? Why did you come back. When I saw that you left, I figured you’d be gone forever.”
John sighed staring at the cement “the governor passed a law here that abnormals living in human city’s are no longer illegal. That and...I missed you.” He glimpsed at Eddie,John's eyes looked tired. “They’d caught up to me last year and I was held in a facility for two months,my mom and Henry took care of the little ones... I broke out with the help of some other abnormals.” He crossed his arms and wiped away some more tears. John felt bad he’d not been there for Eddie. “I would’ve come back sooner if I could Eds,and I know you're mad but you have to know I didn’t leave willingly. The girls ask all the time when they can see they can see their-…you” John sighed fearing Eddie wouldn’t want to rekindle their relationship. He dreaded he wouldn’t want to see their daughters.
Eddie was surprised at all the new information, but also wasn’t. He heard about Abnormals allowed to live among humans, but there was still no law about living with them or loving them. He kind of rolled his eyes at that.
“So you’re a fugitive?”
John stayed silent.
Eddie sighed. “Look, as much as I would love to see our daughters, I can’t just easily accept you into my life again. You broke my heart and how will I know if you won’t do it again? Maybe the world was right that we, Abbies and Humans, aren’t meant to cohabitate with each other.” Eddie sniffled, taking his jacket and rubbing his eyes.
John looked like he was about to say something but Eddie held up a hand.
“Not tonight… I need time…” He turned to continue walking to his apartment.
Once inside, Bitty and Leafy greeted him with happy meows, but Bitty knew. She knew that her cat dad was near Eddie. He closed the door, set his guitar aside and leaned against the door, sliding down to the floor. He held his head in his hands and let the tears fall.

Mr. and Mrs. World Wide Handsome - Kim Seokjin (soulmate au)
Tumblr media
Warnings: None
Contains: Cute soulmates!Jin and Y/N meeting
Requested: no
Words: 6, 896
———————————————————————
I walk out of the campus library, several books clutched in my arms. Just behind me, the girl that I’m working with steps out as well, several books also clutched in her arms. “So, where do you think we should start?” I ask, leading her back towards my on campus apartment.
“Well, I think we should start focusing on the groundwork first. That would make things easier,” she says. We make our way across campus, talking calmly about the project that our professor just put out. After a few minutes, however, I realize that the girl’s attention isn’t fully on me anymore. Her head is whipping around, looking in all directions.
Calmly, I knit my eyebrows together in confusion. “What’s wrong?” I ask, stopping and placing my hand on her shoulder. She quickly snaps her head in my direction.
“Alright. I, um, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but...everyone is staring at us,” she whispers the last part. Without even having to look up, I roll my eyes in annoyance. I know exactly what’s going on. I sigh softly.
“Just ignore it. I’ll...explain when we get to my dorm,” I say, leading her towards my dorm again.
As I walk with her, I suddenly feel everyone’s eyes on us again. I’ve gotten used to the feeling over the years, but it still doesn’t make it any more comfortable. When we finally reach my dorm, I open the door and lead her up the stairs towards my small apartment. Everyone’s eyes turn to us as we pass. Finally, we make it to my door and I quickly open it before ushering her inside. As soon as the door closes, before I even have the chance to put down my books she turns to me. “What...was that?” She asks, gesturing out the door. I groan softly, sliding down the inside of the door.
“I’m so sorry. I swear I don’t do it on purpose,” I groan, looking up at her. She raises an eyebrow at me and I sigh. “It’s my attachment,” I explain.
Immediately, her eyebrows shoot into her hairline. “Wait...*that* was your attachment?” She asks in surprise. I nod my head and sigh again.
“I mean, that’s what everyone figures. We don’t have a name for it or anything, but it’s always happened. Even when I was little, everyone would just...stare at me. Freaked my mom out to no end. I’ve gotten used to it over the years.” My project partner just stares at me, her jaw on the ground.
“Oh my gosh...you have a beauty attachment!” She gasps. I stare at her I surprise.
“Is...Is that what it’s called?” I question. She nods her head vigorously, setting her books down on the carpet in my living room.
“Yeah! It’s called a beauty attachment! Basically, everyone is, like, drawn to you, right?” She asks. I nod my head lightly.
“Yeah, basically. It’s literally so annoying,” I groan, resting my cheek in my hand. I set my books down on the carpet next to her’s and sit down with her.
For a while, this girl (I learn her name is Abby) and I talk about our attachments. She seems to know quite a bit about my ‘beauty’ attachment, which I find pretty interesting. “Can I ask you something?” I question. Abby nods her head lightly, smiling happily. “How do you know so much about my attachment?” As soon as I ask, she becomes a little more awkward and bites her lip.
“Well...I kinda know...well, I don’t *know* him, but I kinda do?? It’s weird. Let me rephrase. I’ve *heard of*-slash-*seen* a person with your attachment before,” she says, rambling slightly.
“You...You have?!” I gasp. She rubs at the back of her neck awkwardly.
“I mean, yeah, I have. But, I don’t know him. He’s...He’s part of this group. This really *really* popular music group,” she explains. The happy bubble inside of my deflates slightly at the mention of a popular music group. However, I can’t stop myself from asking.
“What are they called?” She sighs softly.
“Okay, so...they’re called...BTS. They’re this really popular k-pop group. The, um...the member with your attachment, his name is Jin. Well, technically, Seokjin, but everyone calls him ‘Jin’,” she says.
For a few seconds, I search my brain. That name, BTS, sounds oddly familiar, but I’m not sure why. Finally, I just shrug off the feeling. “Really? You’re sure he also has this attachment?” I ask. She nods her head again.
“Absolutely. He’s talked about it before. He’s even coined himself a name because of his attachment, ‘World Wide Handsome’,” she chuckles lightly. I cover my mouth, giggling lightly at that information.
“Don’t I know that feeling?” I giggle. I stop giggling after a few seconds. “Can I...Can I see a picture of him?” I ask quietly. Immediately, Abby grabs her phone and searches up something on her phone. Seconds later, she flips it around and shows me a picture of one the handsomest men I’ve ever seen.
Tumblr media
Just seeing him, my heart starts beating rapidly and I feel as though all of my breath has been stolen away. “Oh, my God,” I mutter softly, looking up at Abby with wide eyes. She nods her head, showing me the same wide eyes.
“I know, right? It’s crazy,” she says.
Nervously, I play with my hair. “So, um, what if he is my soulmate? How am I gonna know?” I ask, biting my lip lightly, still staring at the picture of Jin.
“Well, from what I’ve heard, when you’re near him, you’ll feel this kind of...pull. Like you *need* to be as close to him as you can be. And, when you finally meet your soulmate, your beauty attachment should just...dissolve,” she shrugs. I stare at her with wide eyes.
“Dissolve, what does that mean?” I ask worriedly. She giggles lightly.
“Nothing serious, promise. Your appearance won’t change at all, but that spell that you have over people? It won’t be there anymore. People will still think your beautiful and attractive and stuff, but they won’t stare at you, there shouldn’t be anymore sudden declarations of love, and you shouldn’t be offered presents by strangers,” she says, listing off a couple of encounters that I had described to her. I let out a big sigh of relief.
“Oh, thank God. you don’t even understand how much of a relief that is to hear,” I sigh. Abby smiles sweetly at me, giggling.
“But, enough about attachments. I think we should start on this project,” she says, pulling one of the books off of the pile and towards her. I nod my head lightly, moving closer so that we could both read the book.
“I think that’s a good idea,” I say softly.
————————
For the next few hours, Abby and I start to work on the project. I do my best to focus on the work, but my mind keeps going back to that picture of Jin that she showed me. After a while, Abby seems to realize that I’m too preoccupied. She shuts the book and smiles, shaking her head. “Well, I think that’s enough work for tonight. It’s obvious that all you can think of is Jin,” she giggles lightly. I flash her an apologetic smile, but she just brushes it off without complaint. “It’s alright, I understand,” she says.
“It’s just...I know my attachment is so rare and to what about someone who has the same attachment as me...it makes me think...” I say, trailing off. Abby nods her head lightly.
“I totally understand. I know I wouldn’t be able to get my mind off of the idea, either,” she chuckles.
Calmly, I lean against the couch in the living room and look at her again. “Tell me about him,” I say softly. She smiles to herself and thinks for a moment.
“Well, he’s the oldest in the group. He just turned 28 in early December...” Abby trails off at the look I give her. My jaw dropped and I stare at her in shock.
“He’s 6 years older than me!” I shout in surprise.
“I know, I know. But, really, that age difference isn’t that big of a problem at our age,” she reassured me. I take a deep breath, lying back again to listen. Abby watches me carefully before continuing.
“He’s obviously South Korean and still lives there when he’s not going around the world with BTS. He went to college for film and acting, and was in college when he was recruited for BTS. Most of this is stuff that you can find online. Um...he’s pretty funny, actually. Really likes dad jokes and, he’s a *really* good cook,” Abby smiles sweetly. I listen intently, trying to get myself to remember all of this. I don’t want to forget anything.
Without much prompting on my end, Abby tells me as much as she can about Jin. She even tells me about some websites that I can use to research him and come up with some good material. Abby eventually starts playing some of their music for me to listen to. She makes sure to show me some of Jin’s solo songs, as well, like Epiphany and Abyss. I close my eyes and just listen to the music, letting myself listen to it without being distracted. With every piece of information that I learn about him, my heart feels lighter and lighter. There’s always the chance that he’s not my soulmate, but with the rarity of my attachment, I also know that there is a large chance that he is. Whenever I look at a picture of him, I almost feel this light pull like something is telling me I need to be near this person.
After hours of being together, Abby slowly starts packing up her things. She grabs her pile of books off the floor and starts to leave when I finally say something that has been on my mind all night. “Abby...” I say, trailing off. She turns back to me curiously and tilts her head.
“Hmm?” She hums, tucking some hair behind her ear.
“How...How am I ever going to be able to meet him?” I ask, my eyes already starting to prickle at the thought. She smiles softly, adjusting the books in her arms.
“Don’t worry, okay? Leave that to me. I have an idea, but it’s going to take *a lot* of convincing,” she tells me. I nod my head slowly. After a few moments, she smiles happily and waves goodbye as she leaves my apartment.
————————
For the next couple weeks, Abby and I meet almost nightly. Most of our meetings are for the project, however we do get together on the weekends to talk specifically about BTS. She tells me about upcoming interviews and music releases that they’re doing. She even gives me their social media accounts so that I can follow them and see some of the information for myself. When we get together, I try not to mention the idea that she had mentioned. I figure that she’ll tell me if it works out and I do my best not to think about it. Thankfully, this seems to be the right way to go.
About three weeks after our first project night together, she comes running up to me on campus. “Do you have some time?” She asks hurriedly. I nod my head lightly. I had just been headed back to my apartment after classes. “Let’s have lunch together,” she suggests.
“Okay, alright? But, is everything okay, Abby?” I ask nervously. She quickly nods her head.
“Absolutely, everything’s great! I have some news about that idea I had mentioned a little while back,” she smiles. My heart immediately soars in surprise and I gasp.
“Really?!” I gasp.
“Yes! Let’s go to lunch. We can talk there and not have so many people overhear,” she says, hurrying towards the cafeteria. I run after her, my heart pumping rapidly.
Abby and I hurry into the cafeteria and find a table together before grabbing our food. The table is smack dab in the center of the cafeteria, so there should be enough talking around us that not many other people will hear us. Setting our plates on the table, we both sit down. I wait anxiously as Abby settles herself before speaking up again. “Okay, so, I didn’t mention this before because I wanted to get to know you a bit before saying this...my family is fairly rich. That’s how I was able to do this. It wasn’t cheap, but that doesn’t matter to me, so long as we get close enough for Jin to notice you,” she explains. My jaw drops and I’m about to thank her, but she holds up her hand to keep me quiet. “Just let me tell you everything, okay? Well, I already had tickets to a concert that BTS is having around here in a few weeks. I was going to go by myself, but by some *miracle, I was able to get another ticket for you to join me. The tickets are VIP, which means that we’ll be as close to the stage as possible. It *also* means that we’ll be able to be there during their sound check. *That* is going to be our best opportunity to get Jin’s attention and bring up the attachment. I hope that as soon as you two are in close enough proximity, he’ll feel the pull that your attachment has to bring you two together. However, it’s still going to be hard to get his attention. We’ll really need to do our best, okay?” She says. I nod my head silently, my jaw still hanging open. Abby giggles lightly. “Okay, you can talk now. That’s my plan right now.”
For a few seconds, I’m still silent. My mind is running a mile a minute, but the first thing that comes out of my mouth is...”Thank you...thank you!” I exclaim, getting up from my seat and running over to hug Abby. She laughs loudly, getting up from her seat and accepting the hug.
“You’re welcome! I’m just so glad that I can help bring you and Jin together!” She smiles happily.
“When is the concert?” I ask, finally getting into my seat again.
“The end of this month, February 27th. It’s a Saturday,” she reassures me. I sigh in relief, at least able to comfort myself in knowing that it’s a Saturday.
“Okay, February 27th, I’ll have to write that down on my calendar. But, we’ll need to come up with what to wear and everything,” I remind her. She nods her head calmly.
“That we will. And we’ll want it to be really good so we can get their attention,” she says.
All throughout lunch, Abby and I converse about the concert. When we’re both finished, we head back to my dorm and start looking through the clothes in my closet. For hours, we search through all of the clothes in my closet and dresser, trying to pair them together into an outfit that will catch Jin’s eye. Abby taps her chin lightly, looking at everything places out in front of us. “I think this will work well. It looks good together and it’s definitely eye-catching,” she says, putting pieces of an outfit together. When everything is put together, I look down at the outfit that she has made. The outfit consists of a plain black short-sleeve shirt, a dark red skirt that buttons in the front, and black shoes.
“How about we add leggings since it’s cold,” I giggle. Abby rolls her eyes and starts laughing.
“I’m literally such an idiot, yes, absolutely. Don’t want you to freeze,” she giggles.
When Abby and I have finally sorted out the outfit, we set the pieces next to each other in my closet. I take a deep breath and nod my head lightly. I can’t stop thinking about the fact that, in just a few weeks...I could be meeting my soulmate. My mind is swimming with everything that could happen within those weeks and I can’t help but feel a bit of anxiety creeping into my body. I try to push the thoughts away and just focus on spending some time with Abby.
————————
For the next few weeks, the upcoming concert is all that Abby and I can talk about. As it draws nearer and nearer, my anxiety gets worse and worse. Abby comforts me as much as she can, trying her best to calm me down. On the day of the concert, after my classes have ended, I change into the outfit we picked out and look at myself in the mirror. I fix my hair and even put on a little makeup, which is very new for me. Thankfully, I told Abby this and she was able to teach me a few things over the weeks coming up to the concert.
When I’m done getting ready, I pace the apartment and keep wringing my hands. My nervousness gets worse and worse as the concert time creeps nearer and nearer. I can’t seem to calm myself down completely, but I do my best to take deep breaths and remind myself that this isn’t a big deal. I mean, if is because he might be my soulmate, but he’s also just another person. Another person who just happens to be a part of the biggest music group in the world right now...and my possible soulmate. No pressure, right?
At the last minute, I add one of my favorite necklaces to compliment the outfit. I’m just starting to look at myself in the mirror again when I hear a knock at the door of my apartment. I hurry into the living room and pull open the door. At the door, Abby is dressed and ready for the concert, too. A huge smile spreads across her face when she sees me. “You look amazing. Jin won’t be able to look away when he sees you,” she smiles excitedly. Quickly, I grab my wallet, phone, and keys before closing the apartment door and locking it.
Down on the street, Abby’s car is parked just outside of my dorm. She leads me up to the car and we both climb inside. Abby turns on the car and gets directions on her phone before we leave the parking lot. The stadium where the concert is taking place is about a 45 minute drive away from our school. Abby and I have small conversations during the drive, mostly just letting the music play. I can’t stop myself from continuing to wring my hands as we get closer and closer to the stadium. When Abby catches me doing this, she chuckles and places her hand on top of mine. “Hey, no need to be nervous. Everything’s gonna turn out just fine,”
She smiles sweetly. I nod my head, swallowing down the lump that has developed in my throat.
After a while, we reach the stadium and Abby parks the car. Calmly, she gets out a pulls out two bags with characters on the sides of them. I recognize the characters as the BT21 characters and smile to myself. Without hesitation, Abby hands me a bag with a cute, white alpaca on it. “That’s RJ and he’s Jin’s character. I’m hoping it’ll help get his attention,” she smiles brightly. I giggle and place my things within the bag, throwing it over my shoulder. Abby puts her things in a bag with a little yellow dog on it. I tilt my head while looking at it and she smiles.
“I may not have the same attachment as Jimin, but I still want to try and get his attention,” she giggles, throwing the bag over her shoulder. With that, we make our way towards the stadium.
While we walk towards the stadium, we walk happily between ourselves. At the ticket booth, we’re stopped and Abby pulls two tickets out of her bag. The ticket checker looks over them for a few moments before he nods his head and allows us into the stadium. For a while, Abby and I walk around the stadium, trying to find our way out to our seats. We finally find a hallway that leads onto the main floor of the stadium and walk down it quickly. When we get to the end of the hallway, it opens up to the main floor of the stadium. Some people are walking around, looking for their seats already. I see other people hurrying around and checking to make sure that things are ready for the concert. I look around in all directions, but look at Abby when I feel her elbow my side. I knit my eyebrows together and look over at her. Her jaw is on the ground and her wide eyes are trained on the stage.
Quickly, I turn my head in that direction and my heart stops. Standing on top of the stage, talking to each other and going through their sound check is BTS. All of the members are gathered on the stage and talking amongst themselves. My eyes trail over each of them, their names being shouted in my head as I recognize them. Almost instantly, my eyes land on Jin and my heart skips several beats again. He looks even more handsome in person. Almost all eyes in the stadium are pulled to him and I watch as he laughs at something one of the other members said. Even from this far back, I can make out his signature windshield wiper laugh.
Finally, Abby seems to snap out of it and she quickly grabs my hand. She starts pulling me towards the seats right at the edge of the stage. When we find our seats, we sit down quickly and continue watching the sound check. However, as I sit in my seat, I feel this almost magnetic pull towards the group. I can’t pull my eyes off of Jin and I have to physically keep myself from jumping on stage and giving into the magnetic pull. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait long before something amazing happens. I swallow down another thick lump in my throat, trying to steady my shaking hands and taking a few deep breaths. When I look back up at the group, I watch as Jungkook elbows Jin and nods his head towards Abby and I.
As soon as his eyes land on me, a huge smile spreads across his face. Without hesitation, he leaves the groups and starts walking over to Abby and I. My heart starts beating wildly and my hands are shaking worse than ever the closer he gets. The magnetic pull keeps getting stronger and stronger until, finally, he sits on the edge of the stage and looks down at us. He looks back and forth between Abby and I, obviously trying to decide what to say. Finally, he comes up with something and a smile spreads across his face again. “So...which one of you has the beauty attachment?” He asks, continuing to flit his eyes between Abby and I. As soon as he asks, Abby points to me and I raise my hand slowly. His eyes land on me and he smiles even wider. “You’re my soulmate, huh? It’s very nice to meet you,” he chuckles, scooting off the edge of the stage and landing on the ground.
As soon as he does this, there’s a loud commotion from the stage and several guards come hurrying over. They start to surround Jin, but he puts up his hand to stop them. “It’s alright, she’s my soulmate,” he says calmly, shooting a gorgeous smile at me. My heart melts instantly and I’m surprised that I haven’t suddenly turned into a large puddle of mush. Heat spreads across my cheeks and I giggle, brushing my hair behind my ears. The guards listen to Jin and slowly start going back to their posts at the edge of the stage.
As soon as the guards are gone, Jin turns his attention back to me. “What’s your name?” He asks, tilting his head adorably.
“I-I’m Y/N,” I stammer. Immediately, I close my eyes and take a few more steadying breaths. “I’m sorry, Jin, I’ve just been *really* nervous about today and suddenly it’s here and you’re here and I’m just...nervous,” I laugh, steadying my voice again. He chuckles lightly, nodding his head.
“I understand. It’s not every day that you meet your soulmate. Besides, I’ve been a bit nervous myself. I’ve been feeling that pull get stronger all day and I just...knew,” he shrugs, yet another smile gracing his beautiful face.
“As soon as I saw you, I had to actually stop myself from running on stage and up to you,” I giggle, brushing my hair behind my ear again. He laughs lightly and nods his head.
Suddenly, I hear more feet hitting the ground as some people join us. I drag my attention away from Jin and take more deep breaths as I recognize Jimin and Namjoon. Both have large smiles on their faces as they look between Jin and I. “I suppose you’re the lucky girl?” Namjoon asks, glancing over at Jin. Jin nods his head lightly, stepping back and letting Namjoon step up closer. Without hesitation, he pulls me into a big hug and I gasp in surprise, just standing there for a few moments before I hug him back. Namjoon pulls back, then turns his attention to Abby. “It’s nice to meet you, as well,” he smiles charmingly. Abby stares at him in shock, then her eyes flit to me.
“It’s...It’s nice to meet you, too! I’m Abby and this is my friend, Y/N,” she giggles, her hands shaking almost as bad as mine.
Slowly, we strike up a conversation with Namjoon, Jimin, and Jin. However, I can’t take my eyes off of Jin and he can’t seem to take my eyes off of me. Calmly, he steps closer and takes my hand into his, squeezing it lightly. As soon as he touches me, I feel the magnetic pull slowly dissolve and my heart soars happily. A bright smile shows on his face again. “And if I had any doubts, that proves that you’re my soulmate,” he chuckles, pulling me in close to his side. All around us, the other’s flash bright smiles in our direction at Jim’s words. I smile to myself, leaning into Jin’s side comfortably.
Suddenly, another person appears at the edge of the stage. “Come on, we need to finish sound check,” J-Hope complains, looking around at his group mates. Namjoon sighs and bids us goodbye before climbing on the stage. Jimin pulls both Abby and I into a big hug before following Namjoon. Jin, however, doesn’t seem to want to leave my side. He holds my hand tightly in his and just looks up at J-Hope. In response, J-Hope raises an eyebrow. “Are you coming?” He questions. Jin looks down at me and I smile softly, nodding towards the stage. He sighs and squeezes my hand before letting go and climbing back into the stage. J-Hope shakes his head at Jin’s reluctance to continue the sound check. “If you really want to see her again, just ask the guards to bring her backstage after the concert.” Immediately, Jin’s face lights up and I watch he runs the length of the stage and over to the security guards. He has a quick conversation with them and points towards Abby and I. We wave slightly and Jin smiles before turning back to the guards. Finally, the guards nod their heads and Jin smiles gratefully before returning to his group and continuing the sound check.
The sound check continues on for what feels like hours. When it’s finally over, Jin comes back to the edge of the stage and sits down. “I can’t stay long. I’ll need to go back to makeup soon and change,” he says. I nod my head and open my mouth to answer, but loud screams echo through the stadium before I can. Suddenly, there’s the sound of running feet and I’m shoved aside as several of the other VIP fans try to get to Jin. He frowns at them, standing up on the stage so that they can’t get to him. Pieces of paper and different objects are being shoved up at him on the stage as fans try to get him to sign their different things. He sighs softly and signs a few of them before looking back towards me sadly. Several of the fans follow his gaze and, when they realize he’s looking at me, I feel a hard shove as someone pushes me to the ground. I shout in surprise and land hard on the ground. Above me, the fan that pushed me smirks, looking pleased with herself, and crosses her arms.
On the ground, I try to get up again, but so many people are gathered around me that I can barely move. Almost as if my magic, the crowd separates and I feel someone pull me to my feet again. I look up and smile softly when I see Jin’s handsome face. He holds me tightly in his arms and glares around at the fans surrounding us. “Who pushed her?” He asks, his voice quivering slightly. No one answers and I lean into his chest. His arms tighten around my waist. “I said ‘who. pushed. her’?!” He exclaims angrily, his gaze flirting around the group. Slowly, nervously, the fan who pushed me raises her hand. Jin scowls at her, still holding me to his chest, then he looks around at all of the other fans. “This girl is my soulmate. Anyone who is rude to her is in turn rude to BTS,” he growls. The girl stares at him in shock, then just crosses her arms again and scowls at us.
Huffing angrily, Jin looks back at the security guards who separated the crowd. “Show her out. I don’t want her here,” he says. The girl’s mouth drops open in shock and she screams in frustration and anger as she is lead out of the stadium. When she’s far enough away and the other fans have dispersed, Jin turns to me and Abby. “Are you alright?” He asks, looking around to make sure that I didn’t get hurt. I giggle lightly, pushing him away.
“I’m fine, Jin. I’ll probably get a bruise, but that’s the worst of it,” I tell him. He scowls in the direction that the security guard left with the girl.
“I won’t let that happen again. I’m not letting you get hurt just because of who I am,” he says plainly. I don’t know what he means by that, but I nod my head lightly. He flashes a small smile and hugs me one more time before turning to Abby and hugging her, as well. “Do me a favor and don’t let anyone hurt her, okay?” He asks. Abby nods her head quickly. Slowly, Jin climbs back on the stage and walks towards the curtains again.
As soon as Jin is out of earshot, Abby turns to me, her mouth hanging open. “I have *never* seen him get that angry. I didn’t know he *could* get that angry!” She says in shock. I shrug my shoulders, sighing softly.
“Well, he had good reason. That is not how I wanted ARMY to figure out that Jin found his soulmate,” I groan. Abby sighs softly and nods her head.
“Yeah...that didn’t go well. But, don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll warm up to you. Well, true fans will. But, I would definitely suggest making all of your social media private. That might discourage hate messages and stuff,” Abby suggests. As soon as she mentions the idea, I grab my phone out of my bag and do exactly that. Abby chuckles lightly at my actions and nods her head. When I’m done, I shoot her a soft smile.
“Let’s just sit down, okay?” I suggest. Abby nods her head and we make our way back to our seats.
As Abby and I sit, fans slowly start to fill in all the seats in the stadium. The noise rises higher and higher as more people sit down and start talking before the concert. While we wait, Abby suggests that we get some merch from some of the stands, so we get up and head out into the stadium’s corridors. Abby and I each get a t-shirt and a poster from the merchandise stall. People brush passed us, calmly looking around and trying to find their seats before the concert. When we have our merch, we head back to our seats and weave between the filled seats on the floor. As we walk through the seats, a few of the fans that were at the sound check stare at us and smile softly, waving. I smile and wave back, wanting to be friendly. At least they weren’t the ones who pushed me.
When we get back to our seats, Abby and I only have to wait about half an hour before the concert starts. There’s so much going on and I’m amazed. I’ve been to several concerts before, but this is definitely one of the best ones I’ve ever seen. Throughout the concert, Jin throws Abby and I soft smiles and even waves once or twice. However, I try to get him to focus on the concert. There are screaming fans all around us and, if someone were to get jealous now, I would be much more scared than I was at the sound check earlier. Abby seems to understand this, so she also keeps her interactions with the boys to a minimum. Although we’re trying to just act like normal fans, the boys do give us a bit more attention than they might give normal fans.
The concert continues on and I greatly enjoy the concert. However, I’m very surprised near the end. Just as the boys have come out for their encore and are going into a third song, Jin runs back down the stage and disappears behind the curtains. Several fans make confused noises and the boys finish up the last little bit of their song before looking around for their friend in confusion. Jin appears seconds later and some security guards come out with him. The security guards climb off the stage and begin making their way through the fans, coming toward us. Both Abby and I stand up, making it a little easier for them, as we know they’re searching for us.
As soon as the guards see us, they weave through the seats and come up to us. They take our hands wordlessly and start leading us back toward the stage. I look at Abby in shock, not certain what Jin has planned. As soon as he get to the stage, Jin helps me up and Namjoon pulls Abby up onto the stage. All of the fans eyes are fixed on us, very confused about who these two new girls could be. Why would BTS pull these girls up on stage with them? Jin holds my hand tightly, a bright and happy smile spreading across his face. “ARMY...I have a confession,” he shouts out, looking around at everyone in the seats. Whisper start making their way through the silent crowd. Calmly, Jin looks over at me, then back out to the seats. “I’m very sorry to inform you, but...World Wide Handsome is no longer on the market. I’ve found my soulmate!” He shouts happily, thrusting our joined hands into the air. Behind me, Abby laughs loudly and starts cheering in excitement. Slowly, other fans join Abby’s cheering and happiness for Jin. He beams happily, looking around at all the fans and pulls me into his side. I giggle lightly and lean up to kiss his cheek lightly. At my action, a loud chorus of ‘awww!’ rips its way through the stadium. Jin laughs lightly, keeping his arm tightly around my waist. “Well, I hope you’ll join me in my excitement, ARMY!” He cheers. More cheers follow this.
Calmly, the boys make their last small speech for the night before all shouting ‘goodnight’ out into the full stadium. With that, they turn around and make their way down the stage and backstage. Immediately, all seven boys head over to a table and begin drinking heavily from water bottles. I can feel the heat coming off of Jin’s body in heavy waves and I wrinkle my nose in disgust. He flashes me a confused look when I wrinkle my nose, “What?” He asks in confusion.
“You smell,” I say plainly. All around us, choruses of laughter follow this statement. Jin sighs loudly, almost as though I’m forcing him.
“Fiiiine. I guess I can take a shower before we talk and cuddle,” he sighs.
“You better. I’m not cuddling with a stinky, sweaty person, even if they’re my soulmate,” I say. He sticks out his tongue at me and finally sets down the water bottle.
“Alright, you stay here. I’ll be back in a little bit?” He says, squeezing my hand once before letting go and walking down the hall.
As Jin disappears down the hall, the other members decide to talk to us for a little bit. They’ve all stopped gulping down the water, though they’re still panting slightly. Taehyung smiles sweetly at us. “It’s nice to finally meet you, Y/N, Abby. Jin wouldn’t stop talking about you after he met you,” he chuckles. Jungkook throws his arm over Taehyung’s shoulder, joining the conversation.
“It was kind of cute, honestly. Jin doesn’t get that excited, usually,” Jungkook explains.
“I’m glad you thought it was cute,” I giggle, “I’m pretty sure Abby was starting to get tired of hearing about him,” I joke. Abby gasps, leaning over and punching my shoulder.
“Oh, shut up. That is an absolute lie!” She exclaims.
As Abby punches my shoulder, her bag of merchandise crinkles as it moves. Taehyung and Jungkook eye the bag curiously, then they must recognize it as a merchandise bag. “If you’d like, we can sign whatever you have in there,” Jungkook offers, nodding towards the bag. Abby looks at him in shock and nods her head vigorously.
“Please! That would be amazing!” She says happily, pulling out the poster. The boys chuckle lightly and start looking around for a pen. Thankfully, they’re able to find one and our posters are passed around to each member. Jin joins again just as J-Hope, the last person to sign the posters, sets down the pen. Jin picks it up calmly and adds his signature to the mass of others. When he’s done signing it, Abby and I get our posters again and put them back in our bags.
Calmly, Jin comes over and wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me into his side. “Well, would you gurls like to come back to the hotel we’re at?” Jin asks, looking between Abby and I. I’m about to answer when Abby shakes her head.
“Y/N can, but I think I’ll head back to school. Just remember that she needs to be back to our college by Monday,” she reminds them. Jin nods his head dutifully and shoots her a smile.
“I promise I’ll get her back on time,” he smiles. Abby chuckles and pulls him into a hug. When they pull apart, Abby waves goodbye to the rest of the members.
“I hope to see you guys soon,” she smiles. They all agree and she waves once more before walking back towards the stadium. Jin hums lightly and rests his chin on my head.
“Alright, we should head back to the hotel. I’m exhausted,” he sighs. I chuckle lightly at him.
Calmly, the boys are lead back to a big, black car with tinted windows. They all climb in and I climb in, as well, making sure to sit close to Jin. On the ride back to the hotel, Jin all but falls asleep on my shoulder. The car finally stops at the back of the hotel and the boys are lead in the back entrance by some hotel officials. They’re given keys to their rooms and make their way to the elevator. On the ride up, it’s clear that most of the members are forcing themselves to keep their eyes open. The door of the elevator opens again and Jin sleepily leads me down the hall and into his room.
As soon as we get into the room, Jin flops down on the bed. I look around, biting my lip, then look down at my clothes. “Jin, I’m sorry, but do you have something I can change into?” I ask quietly. He groans sleepily and flips over to look at me.
“Just pick something from my suitcase, okay?” He hums, his eyes barely open. I nod softly and open up the zippers of the suitcase. Calmly, I pull out a random t-shirt and start taking of my clothes. I pull the t-shirt on before taking my bra off with the shirt over top. I leave my underwear on and turn around, climbing into bed with Jin. He hums happily and wraps his arm around my waist, closing his eyes immediately. Smiling to myself, I close my eyes and fall asleep as well.

It’s Always Been the Pretty Boy
Warnings: mentions of murder; serial killer; swearing
Paring: Spencer Reid x Female!Reader | NCIS x Criminal Minds crossover
Rating: PG 13 for murder
Summary: Morgan and Torres are fighting over Y/N while they have to do a joint investigation and Y/N eventually just goes on a date with Spencer.
This is fairly long sooo... Sorry for that
----
Y/N was spinning in her chair, watching as the orange walls around her spun. “You okay, Y/N?” Ellie asked. Y/N stopped spinning and smiled at her. “Yeah I’m fine. Just waiting.”
“Waiting for what?” Nick asked as he walked into the bullpen, drinking his coffee and handing Y/N a bag of her favorite chips. “Oh hell yeah! Thanks, Nick.” Y/N said as she opened the bag. “Yep. Last bag in the vending machine.” He said, sitting down. “We’ve got a case, get your bags and let’s go.” Gibbs said as he grabbed his stuff from his desk. Everyone stood up and followed him to the elevator. “But what about McGee, Boss?” Nick asked. “He’s meeting us there.”
----
At the scene, Y/N took pictures, Nick collected evidence, while Tim and Ellie talked to the couple that found the body. “What do we got, Duck?” Gibbs asked. “Well, two GSWs, one two the stomach and one to the head. See the amount of blood here? That says that the shot to the stomach was made before the one to the head. I suppose to weaken the man. But as usual, we won’t know more until the autopsy.” Ducky stated.
----
Everyone finished at the crime scene and once they showed back up to the bullpen, they noticed 3 people standing there. “Uhh Boss? Who are they?” Tim asked. “Leroy!” Vance called from the top of the stairs, next to two people he didn’t recognize. “These Agents are with the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit. You’ll be working on a joint investigation. I’ll leave you to make your own introductions. Play nice.” Vance chuckled as he left for his office.
The two agents upstairs made their way down and in front of the others. The taller outstretched his hand toward Gibbs. “Hello, I’m SSA Aaron Hotchner and this is my team. SSA’s David Rossi, Jeniffer Jareau, and Dr. Spencer Reid.” He said, pointing to everyone respectively. “I’m Agent Leroy Gibbs, these are agents Nick Torres, Eleanor Bishop, Tim McGee, and Y/N Y/L/N.” Pointing to each respectively. Once introductions were out of the way, everyone exchanged information.
“Soo what makes you think it’s a serial killer? Nick asked. “Well, so far we’ve had 4 victims, all killed the same way, and all have or are working for either a branch of the military.” Hotch stated. Y/N stood up. “Boss, I’m gonna go check up on Ducky and Palmer.” Gibbs nodded. “Mind if I come with you, Sweetness?” Derek asked and Nick glared at Derek. “Sure. Follow me.” Y/N said.
Gibbs got a phone call. “Yeah, Abbs? On my way.” Gibbs said, putting his flip phone back in his pocket. “Who was that?” Hotch asked. “Our forensic analysis.” Gibbs said. “Mind if I come with?” Gibbs shook his head. “Sure. But we’ve gotta make a stop first.” Hotch nodded and followed behind.
“He still uses a flip phone?” JJ asked. “Yep. Refuses to upgrade.” McGee said.
----
“Alright Ducky, what do you have?” Y/N said cheerfully. “Ah! Y/N! Where’s Jethro?”
“He’s in the lab. Where’s Jimmy?”
“Oh something came up with Breena. Who’s the fine young fellow?” Ducky asked looking at Derek. “Ducky, this is Derek Morgan with the BAU. Derek, this is Dr. Donald Mallard, or Ducky.”
“Oh..FBI, I bet Jethro is not too happy about that.”
“He is not.” Y/N said, chuckling. “So, Ducky, what did you find?” Derek asked. “Apart from the two GSWs, this young man is quite healthy. There is also some adhesive residue on his wrists and ankles.”
“Time of death?” Y/N asks. “I’d say around 18:30-19:00 hours.
But I did find something rather peculiar.” Ducky says as he picks up a small petri dish with a piece of paper in it. “I was just about to take it up to Abby to see if there was any.”
“What is it?” Derek asks. “It’s a piece of paper, it just has the number 6 on it. It was lodged down his throat. Almost like he was forced to swallow it but refused.” Ducky said. “Does this mean anything to you?” Y/N asked. “No, I’ll see if any other bodies had something shoved down their throats.” Derek said as he dialed the number for Garcia.
----
“So what are you doing?” Nick asked, walking up to Reid. “I’m creating a geological profile based on where all the victims were abducted and disposed of.” Reid said without looking away. “Does your friend always flirt with women he’s just met?” Nick said.
“Usually. But I’m sure you're the type too.” Nick looked at Spencer confused. “What do you mean?”
“Well, you wear tight shirts when you really don’t have to. You just want to show off your physical shape. Whenever Y/N walks by you you subtly flex your muscles and puff out your chest. So either you like her, or she’s smart enough to not give you the attention you so very much desire.” Reid said as he turned around and looked at Nick, mouth agape.
They heard snickers from the others. “Oh shut it McGee.” He said, sitting down at his desk.
----
“Gibbs! Gibbs! Gibbs! What took you so long?!” Abby yelled. “Abbs..”
“Right!” Abby stopped when she noticed Aaron. “Gibbs, who’s this?”
“Agent Aaron Hotchner.” Gibbs said with a sting in his voice. “With the BAU.” Hotch held out his hand to Abby and reluctantly, she took it. “I’m Abby. So, what I found was some DNA that wasn’t our Petty Officer’s, it was animal fur. Like, dog or cat hair. I can’t tell what just yet. But, was able to see where he was last seen due to a credit card transaction he made about 30 miles away at a coffee shop. I found camera footage that showed him talking to someone, then being led away by that same person.” Abby said, pulling up the video.
“So he must have somewhere else he keeps the victims. But since there was no physical evidence of torture, it must be psychalogical.”Hotch said.
*Beep*
“Oh! It’s Ducky!” Abby said, answering the facetime and showing it on her screen. “Hello Jethro and Abby!” He said. “Hey, we found a piece of paper lodged down our Petty Officer’s throat. It has the number 6 on it.” Y/N said. “There must be two more bodies we don’t know about. I’m having Garcia check on it now.” Derek said.
----
Sure enough they found two more bodies, two parents Kevin and Maria Grant, in the marines. They were both shot in the stomach, forced fed the piece of paper, and then shot in the head. The mom had a number two, and the dad had a number one. Police thought it was their 14 year son, Lyle Grant, but they had no real evidence to support that.
---
“Garcia said that Lyle doesn’t have any addresses under his name. But something has come up. There’s a missing person. Female, brown hair, and physically fit. Fits the female portion of our victimology.” Derek said, putting the phone on speaker. “Okay Garcia, try looking for something in the comfort zone under the parents’ name.” Rossi said. “Nothing.” Garcia said. “Who was Lyle’s legal guardian after the murder?” Ellie asked. “Got it, strange voice I’ve never heard before. After killing his parents, he went on to live with his Aunt Jamie Frank…”
“And where is she now?” Ellie asked. “She died about 4 months ago.”
“That’s our trigger. Garcia look for something under her name.”
“Umm we have an abandoned veterinary office that she used to own but is now owned by the state and set to be demolished.”
“Address Garcia.”
“Already sent.” She said as she hung up. “Morgan, JJ, Rossi, you’re with me.” Hotch said. “Torres, Bishop. Come on.” Gibbs said and all of them left.
“So, since we are here for a bit, let’s get to know each other.” Y/N said, sitting next to Reid and McGee. “Y/N you should’ve seen it. Dr. Reid made Nick turn as red as a strawberry.” Tim said. “Ohh what’d you say?” Y/N asked. “I just pointed out the obvious. He clearly likes you in a romantic sense.”
“Ha! He wishes.” Y/N laughed. “You don’t like him?” McGee asked mockingly. “Ha. Ha. No, I don’t like him like that. I mean yeah, he’s a great guy but hes not my type.” Y/N said, rolling her eyes. “Really? I-I mean he’s confident, strong built, and he seems somewhat willing to settle. Statically, that’s what most women go for.” Spencer said.
“What people find attractive can’t be put up to stats, Dr. Reid.” Tim said. “Yeah. And besides, you’re more my type anyway.” Y/N said, looking at Reid. He turned bright red. “You’re-You’re I’m- your what-”
Y/N chuckled at the chaos she created. “I think you broke him.” Tim said. “Yep. You’re my type. Speaking of, wanna catch dinner after this case? I know this amazing restaurant downtown.”
“I- sure.”
---
“Alright listen, Y/N is taken.” Nick said, pulling Derek to the side. “And I don’t think your advances are really gonna work.” They had just arrested the unsub and found the missing girl, all they had to do was finish up searching the building for anything else they may have missed.
“Oh really? Who’s she taken by?” Derek smirked. “Well- she’s not like- taken, taken. But she will be. After I ask her out when we get back.”
“So she’s single. Thanks for the heads up man.” Derek said, patting Nick’s shoulder and laughing. “Wait! What I mean is- She’s going to choose me over you.”
“Oh really?”
“Yep. She barely knows you. We’ve known each other for so long now.”
“Riightt. But I can tell she doesn’t like you. I notice behavior, remember?”
“Yeah well you’re behavior noticing skills are not as good as you think.”
“Guys! Are you two seriously fighting over Y/N right now!?” Ellie yelled. “No!” Both Derek and Nick said, going their separate ways.
---
“I’m sure he’ll be fine with it.” Reid said. “It's just a day. I’m sure they can find something to do until then.” He said as the elevator dinged. Everyone piled out of the elevator and into the bullpen.
Y/N grabbed the rest of her stuff while Reid asked Hotch if they could stay for one more day.
“So, Y/N..” Nick said as he walked up to Y/N. “I was wondering, if you wanted to go get dinner with me tonight?” Y/N looked up and Nick. “Yeahhh no. I’ve got plans.”
“With who? Him?!’ Nick said, pointing to Derek. “Nope.” Y/N turned around and smiled at Reid. “Hey Spencer you ready?”
“Yep. He can hold off for a day.” Spencer said, smirking at Nick and Derek who both had their jaws dropped. “Okay Pretty Boy, I see you.” Derek said as Reid locked arms with Y/N. The two walked towards the elevator.
“This is your fault.” Nick said, glaring at Derek. “She never liked you anyways, Nick.” Ellie said, patting him on the shoulder as she left. “Ellie’s right you know. You didn’t even stand a chance.” McGee laughed as he left. “I wanna beer.” Nick mumbled to himself. “Let’s go then.” Derek said. “We can wallow in our sorrows together.” He said laughing. “Sure, let me get my coat.”

✨✨⭐️✨✨⭐️✨✨⭐️✨✨⭐️✨✨⭐️
If the sound of the heavy rain hitting the top of your tent wasn’t enough to wake you, the defining sound of lighting cracking a tree in the distance was. You gasped sitting up quickly, almost forgetting where you were. His warm palm runs up your arm, making your remember. You turn your head back to look at him, his eyes were heavy like he had just woken up. He softly wrapped his fingers around your upper arm, pulling you back into him. A sigh falling from your lips as you snuggled back into your safe space. His right arms wraps around you so that his fingers can run through your hair, while his left comes across his stomach searching for your fingers to lace his through. You quickly find them, looking up at him through your long lashes.
His soft eyes finally meet yours, “You make me feel things I’ve never felt before.” the words fell from your lips in a daze. Soft and unsure, but maybe talking about it would make it seem less foreign.
The corners of his mouth turn up while his eyes sparkled, “I can relate,’ he drew in a long breathe, “I cant really explain it either.”
You nod while readjusting yourself, sitting up and crossing your legs. He copies you, sitting up tall playing with the hem of his t-shirt.
“I just got out of a relationship a week ago,” You rake your fingers through your hair taking in a long breath.
He cocks his head to the side taking his bottom lip in between his teeth, “Did you love Ben?” his voice is small, you can it’s not something he wants to talk about but you both know that its needed.
“I don’t know, I think so.” you rub your hands over your thighs, being forced to think about how you actually felt about one of the longest relationships you’d ever been in.
“You think?” He reaches out to take your hand in his. The instant tranquility that washes over just by being touched by him is something you can’t ignore.
“While I was in it, it felt like love to me... but,” You sigh searching his eyes hoping to find the words,“how do you know what love feels like?”
He tries to suppress a grin as he looks down quickly, he looks back up at you with adoration lacing all of his features, “I think it feels like this…”
Your chest tightens as you process what that means, you wish you weren’t so scared of everything that his words represented. You agree though, wholeheartedly. If you were ever to describe the feelings of falling in love, you would describe this moment.
“Why were you with him for so long if you weren’t sure you loved him?” His voice is soothing, almost as if you were fragile and if he spoke too loud you would break, “If you don’t mind me asking.”
You blink as his thumb brushes the back of your hand softly, “I think, maybe, I just liked having someone to call my own,” You start to explain. Telling him that you did have feelings for him, but you knew deep down that they weren’t feelings of love. You never thought about getting married, or having children, or a future at all with Ben. While you felt that way, a part of you felt secure knowing that you wouldn't be alone.
“Maybe I’m an idiot for staying as long as I did,” You look up at him and he shakes his head.
“I could say the same about all the relationships I’ve ever been in…” He starts to explain, “I think it’s normal, I think it’s what you’re supposed to do until you eventually find someone that makes you think like that. Someone that consumes your every thought, almost makes you feel like you were missing a part of you until you met them.” His hands are warm when they slide up your forearms, he tugs when he gets to your elbow. You follow his pull so that you’re straddling him.
“As scared as you might be, I promise you I’m feeling the same way,” He takes your face in between his hands letting his thumbs brush the area just below your eyes, “But it would be even scarier to stop whatever this could be.” His finger points from him to you repeatedly.
“Jungkook, we’ve literally only known each other for 3 days,” You close your eyes feeling psycho finally saying it out loud.
“Look, I’m not asking to get married or anything. I just think you should know how incredibly whipped I am for you already,” He chuckles as his lips lightly press onto the tip of your nose.
Your eyes lift to meet his galaxy filled ones, they made you feel so warm. The kind of feeling you get when you finally get to slide into your bed after a long day. They felt like home. Of course, those feelings are always accompanied by some form of fear, but he was right. You would regret it forever if you ignored the way you felt for him.
“Whipped, yeah?” you lean away from him, letting your pointer and middle finger dance along his collarbone,  “Tell me a little more about that,” your eyes widen sarcastically, he instantly scoffs loudly burying his head in your neck. His laughs are muffled, and his voice is soft, “Oh shush.”
He pulls back his face is serious now, “Are you feeling better?”
You nod in response hoping that he believes you. Your head still hurts and your throat is as dry as the Sahara. He reaches besides you to grab his phone, picking it up and seeing the LED screen lights up with the time, 2:42am. He lays back, keeping you on his chest. His fingers combing through your hair carefully.
“I don’t want to leave tomorrow,” you whisper
“Why not?”
“I don’t know, I guess I’m nervous to get back to reality.”
He sighs, “No I’m ready for it.”
“Yeah?”
“Mhm, there’s so much I want to do with you.”
He feels you smile into his chest, butterflies in your stomach start to feel like full blown birds. The fact that his brain instantly started to place you into his life was heartwarming to say the least. Yours was doing the same though. You couldn’t stop thinking about what your friends and family would think of this amazing man. The image of all of the dates you would go on, and all the sex you would have was obviously at the forefront. You instantly feel your core start to heat up at the thought of how he would fuck you. You knew he was the giving type, which could only mean that he was also that way in bed. Picturing the way his body would look above yours, as he fucks you into the mattress. You shake the thoughts, recalling that if you wouldn't have gotten sick you might have seen him naked running into the river.
“Did they all skinny dip tonight?” you tilt your head upward so that you can see his face.
“Mhm.”
“You didn't go?”
His brows scrunch together and he looks at you like a crazy person, “You were literally white in the face, love.” He brings his hand up to your cheek, “besides... the only person I have the desire to skinny dip with is you.”
You look away, with your cheeks burning red, “Well then I’ll have to make it up to you.”
“I’ll never say no to that,” He rasps, while his fingertips dip underneath your shirt. His knuckles brushing back and forth on your hip, the simple touch alone sets your body on fire. Your breathing starts to quicken, and you need to touch him. You turn your head away from his chest to reach his neck. Your lips linger under his ear for a moment, before you drag them down to his collar bone.
His breath hitches, “Mm, your lips feel so good.”
He has no idea how good your lips feel, but you want to show him. You scoot yourself down his body, lifting his shirt so you can pay attention to the abs that he works so hard on. His cock is straining in his boxers and your cheeks redden knowing you did that to him. As your tongue traces the indentations on his stomach, your hand floats down to let him know you’re aware of his situation.
“I feel like you haven’t quite seen their potential,” you look up at him through your lashes, “Can I show you?”
His brows nit together, “Please,” he begs, tongue peeking out to wet his lips.
You smile devilishly at him before sliding his boxers down his legs. You reposition yourself to sit in front of him, between his legs. You take him in your hand pumping him slowly, as filthy thoughts flood your mind. How badly you want to sink down onto him and feel him deep inside you. Without thinking you bend forward teasing the head of his cock with your tongue. He hisses at you throwing his head back, apparently you weren’t the only one with dirty thoughts running through your mind. You wet your lips before kitten licking him again, this time his eyes are on you. His tongue jabs against the inside of his cheek. The change in his demeanor makes you feel like you might melt.
You instantly take him into your mouth, swirling your tongue around before pulling him out with a popping sound. You kitten lick him one more time before looking up at him again.
“Baby, please stop teasing me.” His voice is weak, you can see how turned on he is.
Without answering you wrap your mouth around his cock. Bobbing up and down, you take his cock deeper each time. Feeling him tap against the back of your throat, you start to moan. The vibrations from your throat earn a guttural moan from him.
You pull yourself off of him, letting your hand mimic what your mouth was doing. Your finger comes up to your lips, with a quiet ‘shh’.
He grins at you before he reaches down, tangling his long fingers in your hair. You take him off guard when you lean up to spit on his cock. His brows raise when your mouth follows the string of spit back, taking him in slowly. You start to bob your head again but slower this time. His fingers tighten at the back of your head, and he starts to push down. Slow at first, making sure it was something you were into. You start to moan, and he takes that as an invitation to keep going. He pushes you down onto his cock, making you gag for seconds before pulling you off of him.
“FUCK, Princess. That feels too good.” He sits up quickly pulling your mouth to his, your tongues dance for dominance. You whine into his mouth, needing more from him.
“Want you to fuck my mouth,“ you beg into his mouth, your hand still working mercilessly.
He grins as he continues to peck your lips and cheeks, he loves seeing you so fucked out. He instantly starts to think about how sexy you’ll be when you’re begging for his cock inside you.
“Such a good girl, you want me to cum down your throat?” His tone is taunting, you nod your head aggressively, “Please.” You beg, and you know this is unlike you but your body is screaming for you to please him.
You lower your head again, with his head pushing gently. You control yourself at first, until he puts his hands on each side of your face, slowly lifting his hips to meet your mouth. He picks up his speed, and you feel tears start to prick in the corners of your eyes. You wont stop him though, you need to feel him finish in your mouth.
His thumb lifts to wipe your tears away, “So fucking pretty with my cock in your mouth, baby girl,” You look up at him and he rams his cock into your throat, making the tears fall harder. He keeps fucking your throat and you can tell he’s getting close with how his thrust are staggered.
“G-gonna cum- Fuck!” He grunts before pushing your head down all the way. You nose meeting his pelvis bone, and you feel his warmth coating your throat. He throws his head back, loosening his fingers from your hair. You pull off of him, licking him clean. He shivers at the touch of your tongue on his sensitive cock. You sit up, wiping your mouth with the back of your hands. You realize he’s watching with squinted eyes. You move to the side letting him put his boxers back on, once he does he pulls you into his arms.
“That was amazing,” His lips press against your temple. You bury your head into the crook of his neck, feeling slightly embarrassed for showing him this side of you so early.
“Are you shy now? Hmm?” He starts to giggle, tickling your side. You laugh hard trying to push him away from you, he stops finally, pulling your breathless figure closer to him. His hands find your face again, “Don’t be embarrassed, you turn me on more than anyone ever has. That was so unbelievably sexy… you are so unbelievably sexy.”
You press your lips into a fine line, is now the time to tell him that he makes you giddy like a teenage school girl? Should he know that even when he isn’t trying, he makes you melt like a popsicle on a hot summer day? Then when he does try your brain basically start to malfunction from lack of oxygen because he literally leaves you breathless.
“I haven’t done anything like that before,” you say quietly, praying that your lack of experience isn’t a turn off, “I’ve done it, just not like that.” You look away, tracing his tattoos with your pointer finger.
“Well, did you like it?” He asked with concern lacing his voice.
Your cheeks heat up and all you can do is nod. He laughs quietly with relief.
“Such a good girl for me,” He rasps while kissing your head again, “Get some sleep, okay?”
Your lids are heavy and your breathing starts to match up with him. As comfortable as you were with Jungkook, you were still shocked that you allowed yourself to take things to that level so soon. When you started dating Ben you made him wait months, just because you weren’t quite sure of things. You have only known Jungkook for three days technically. You could lie to yourself and say that he was just a rebound. Tell yourself that the way you felt about him was normal. It wasn’t normal and there was no hiding it. It was a terrifying thought, and something that you really didn’t want to process. As much as you loved being wrapped in his arms, and the feeling of comfort that accompanied it; your gut warned you that things might be too good to be true.

O’Death//Calliope Kane Book 2
Disclaimer: Look yall. You should know by now, sometimes you will get 2 chapters at the same time and sometimes you’ll get one every three months from me. So enjoy lol
Description: The Grounders have been defeated. The people on the Ark have landed safely….so where is the rest of The 100? Calliope and her friends must work in a race against time to save everyone..no matter the cost.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Calliope, I don’t know what the hell has gotten into you, but that was such a reckless move. You have no idea if he’s going to make it or if they will believe him if he does.” Kane was pacing back and forth in the council room as Callie stood without emotion, looking at the wall in front of her. She knew her dad was pissed, she could feel it radiating off him in waves, but she didn’t care. Bellamy was at risk and Callie would do whatever she needed to do to protect him. Finally realizing that her father had stopped yelling, the redhead broke from her thoughts and looked at him. “You realize that this isn’t about what you want right? This is about the good of our people.”
“The good of our people rest on Bellamy’s shoulders. If he doesn’t make it then we all die.” Callie said as she fought to keep her voice neutral. “What I did was make them look the other way until he could get to where we needed him to be.”
“I don’t care why you did it, I care that you did it without consulting me.” Kane yelled as he stepped closer to his daughter. “You are NOT in charge here anymore.”
“And i’m also not a child anymore, yet you still treat me like one!” Callie finally let go of her anger. She was pissed that her father of all people, was still treating her like she had no clue what she was doing. “We survived for MONTHS down here by ourselves. We did what we needed to do. And then you guys arrive and act like we haven’t done a damn thing but we have..” Callie moved so her father started to back up. She knew that he had never seen her like this, but maybe it was time he did so he would let her grow up. “I am almost 20 years old. I know what i am doing, and what i was doing was for the good of our people. If we keep Bellamy alive, then we all live.”
Kane wasn’t able to respond to his daughter as the door opened to find Abby standing there. The two broke eye contact to look at her as she cleared her throat. “Callie, Clarke needs you in the radio bay.” She said quietly. Callie didn’t even spare a look at her father as she turned on her heel and brushed passed Abby. The older woman watched the redhead walk down the hall before turning to her father.
“She’s gonna get herself killed one day.” Kane said as he groaned, a hand rubbing his eyes. “And she doesn’t realize it.”
“She does...but Callie is very much the type of person that doesn’t care.” Abby said moving over and putting a hand on the mans shoulder. “She has grown into a spectacular woman, Marcus. You and her mother made sure of that. But you need to understand that she would do whatever she needed to do to protect her friends.” Abby didn’t need Kane to say the worry that he was going through. She felt it with Clarke, as she was the exact same way. “Maybe it’s time we step back and let them do what they’ve been doing all this time.” Hearing the man grunt, Abby hid a smile as she rubbed his back. “Come on. Let’s go try and help the girls.”
*********
Callie was still trying to come down from the fight with her dad when she reached Raven’s work area. The only thing that calmed her down was hearing a voice...his voice.
"I don't know. We tried to follow them, but they went to a classified level. Maya borrowed the schematics of the vent system from her boss, and I'm still trying to find a way in."
Callie ran towards his voice and noticed Clarke’s panicked look as she handed the mic to the older girl.
“Bell? Is everything okay?” She asked quickly. Callie knew they didn’t have much time as the second they realized Bellamy was in there he was as good as dead if he didn’t do what they needed him to.
“Hey Red. Yeah, everything is fine. Maya is just getting me a different route.” His voice seemed calm but Callie knew that he was nervous.
“I think I found a different route, here is that radio and earpiece Raven needed.” Maya’s voice came across the radio and the two girls looked over at Raven who shrugged.
“I’m making him mobile.”
“Bell, you HAVE to save them. We’ve already lost too many people...we don’t need to lose anymore.” Callie said quickly. Looking at the time she noticed Clarke trying to wrap it up. “I gotta go, but check back in two hours okay?”
“I will Cal. But you be safe too..I don’t need anything happening to you out there.”
Before she could say anything else, the radio cut off and the three girls were alone in the room with their thoughts again. Before any of them could say anything, Kane was coming into the room and Clarke stood up.
“Clarke, it’s time to go to Tondoc.” He said, his eyes never going to rest on his daughter. He knew that they wouldn’t be able to talk about this calmly until things were less tense, but that didn’t help her at all.
“I’m not going.” She said quickly. Standing up she went to walk out the door when Callie grabbed her arm.
“Clarke, you have to. You have a meeting with Lexa...she trusts you.” She said quietly.
“Callie, you and I both know that I can’t go with our friends still in that mountain. They are in trouble and I’m not leaving them till I know they are okay.” Clarke said as she looked over at Kane. “Lexa knows and respects you as well. She will be more than willing to talk to you.”
“Clarke, the whole point of being a leader is when to choose what battles you want to fight.” Kane said. He knew why she was so upset, but she needed to focus on the bigger picture.
“And I also need to know when to Delegate. You and Callie will both go to Tondoc.”
“Maybe your mother should go.” Kane said slowly as his eyes shifted to his daughter finally. Callie didn’t miss the fact that it took him almost the entire conversation to actually look at her.
“She is still Chancellor and she's needed here.” Clarke said, shaking her head. “Please, just do this for me.”
The two of them were silent for a few more minutes before Kane sighed and nodded his head. “Fine. But you have to promise me that you will go as well once you hear back from Bellamy.” Clarke nodded and headed out of the room while Callie watched her walk out. Abby walked in and watched her daughter leave as Kane looked back at the redhead. “Callie, be ready to leave in twenty minutes.”
All Callie did was nod and go back to the radio with Raven as her father left the room with Abby. “You and your dad really got into it, didn’t you.” Raven hardly spoke to Callie after what happened with Finn. Honestly the girl didn’t blame her, but she was a little surprised that the first conversation that they would have was about her father.
“He seems to think that I shouldn’t be making the choices that I am making.” Callie said carefully. “That i’m being reckless.”
“Callie...you have done some stupid shit since i’ve known you...but you have also been the most level headed out of all of us.” Raven said quietly. “You’re not being reckless, you’re just trying to keep everyone alive.”
Callie honestly had no clue how to respond to what the other girl said. So she didn’t. Putting her hand on Raven’s shoulder, she squeezed it before heading out of the room herself. Running into Clarke, the two girls shared a quiet moment before everything was about to erupt.
“If you hear from him...don’t tell him where i’m at. I don’t want him worrying about me or his sister when he needs to focus on this.” Callie said carefully. She didn’t need to elaborate. Clarke knew.
“Cal...if something happens.” Clarke said slowly
“Nothing is going to happen. We are going to Tondoc, we are going to get help and we are going to get our people out of that damn mountain.” Callie said as she squeezed Clarke’s hand. “I have to go meet my dad. I’ll see you soon.”
Clarke watched the redhead hurry off down the halls till she was out of site. The pit in the bottom of her stomach wasn’t going away and the girl hoped that this wouldn’t be the last time she would see her friend. Walking back into the radio room, she heard Raven on the radio with Bellamy again.
“I’m at the intersection, which way?” His voice was hurried as he had been running. Trying to avoid the guards while also getting the help from Maya had been difficult but the sooner all of this was over, the sooner they would have their friends back.
“You just passed the filtration system. So you’re close Bellamy.” Raven’s voice crackled through the earpiece as Bellamy tried not to roll his eyes.
“Can you be more specific?”
Before anyone could answer that question, they heard it. The high pitched whine of a drill cutting through the silence. The screams coming from the recipient who the extraction was being done to. “Nevermind, found it.” He said as he crept closer.
“Bellamy...is that a drill?” Ravens voice was quiet and distorted and Bellamy instinctively nodded before he remembered she wasn’t with him.
“Yeah…”
“It’s a bone marrow extraction.” Clarkes voice sounded horrified and the man knew that if she was here her face would match his own. Bellamy watched the doctor stand next to a man in front of a table with another man on it.
“Are you ready for the last treatment you will ever need?” The doctor asked.
“You have no idea how ready I am.”
“Thats Emerson. I see he made it back on time.” Clarke’s voice was almost bitter, but she kept quiet as the men kept talking.
“Did she say anything about the army?” Cage asked as he looked down at the other man
“No sir. She did say that she was coming for us...and that she would let our people live if we let the others go.” Emerson said quickly. “I’m sorry I failed sir.”
“No, it’s fine. We will finish the job tonight.” Cage said rubbing his chin. “Apparently there is a war council tonight in one of the villages. All the leaders will be there. We have the missiles. With that hiting them, they wont have the forces to continue to fight us.”
Clarkes eyes went wide as she looked at Raven. “Bellamy, you need to get in there and disable the fog now.” She quickly muted the radio and paced for a second.
“Did Kane or Callie take a radio?” She asked the shocked girl next to her.
“No. The only open channel is this one and we need it for Bellamy.” Raven said. “Clarke..what are we going to do?
“Clarke, hey where is Callie? And Octavia was in Tondoc when I left-” Bellamy’s hurried voice came back over the radio as the blonde grabbed it.
“They are fine. They are currently helping with other things though.” She said quickly. “Let me focus on warning the leaders. You focus on getting us in.”
“I will. Be safe.” He said quickly before the radio cut out.
“Why did you just lie to him?” Raven asked as Clarke started out of the room.
“He can’t be distracted. Two of the most important people in his life are currently in danger and we need him focused on the task at hand. If I leave now, I can reach Tondoc in time.” She said quickly before heading out.
“Hey. Don’t get blown up!” Raven yelled.
***************
The journey to Tondoc was quiet. Callie refused to look at her father and he barely glanced at her. She knew that with everything coming up they needed to have a discussion, but both of them were too stubborn to say anything. Eventually the torches of the village filled their visions and Callie was met with a smiling Octavia. “It’s about time you got here. I didn’t think you were coming though.”
“Clarke has some things to take care of so she sent us in her place for now.” Callie said, giving the shorter girl a squeeze. Seeing Indra’s stoic face, Callie nodded. “It’s good to see you again Indra.”
The older woman just nodded as she motioned towards the tent Lexa was in. “She’s waiting for you.”
Looking over at her father, he nodded as she followed Indra into the tent. Lexa’s eyes showed surprise for a split second before her face morphed into a small smile. “Calliope. It’s good to see you again. I wasn’t expecting you though.”
“Clarke had some loose ends to tie up back at camp. She sent me here just so we can get started.” As Callie spoke, she heard the tent open and the blonde hurried through.
“Well, Clarke of the sky people has finally honored us with her presence.” Lexa said with a grin.
“I am so sorry i’m late commander. But we need to talk.”
The look on Clarke’s face was enough to set off alarm bells in Callie’s head. “Clarke..what’s going on?”
“There is a missile coming this way. They are launching it any minute.” Clarke said quickly. The joking demeanor that Lexa had was gone as the words came out of the blondes mouth.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, we need to start evacuating now.” Clarke said looking at Callie.
“No.” The tone was clear from Lexa and the two girls looked at her with mouths agape.
“Lexa..we have to tell everyone. What’s the point of having an inside man if we can’t save these people.” Callie said  “We can’t just sit here and do nothing.”
“Is the acid fog disabled? Do we have our army inside the walls free? Then Bellamy’s job is not done.” Lexa said. Her face had a soft look on it as she knew this was hard for the others. “If we evacuate, they will know there is an imposter in their mist. Then we will lose.”
“Lexa..I provoked them.” Callie said quickly. “They wouldn’t do this if I didn’t.” She knew that what she did was stupid, but she didn’t think that this would be the outcome. “Lexa please…”
“Sometimes we must concede a battle to win the war.” Lexa said quietly. She knew that neither of the girls could understand why she was choosing to do what needed to be done, but hopefully in time they would.
“Let’s tell the clan leaders then. Help them get out and meet up at a point in the woods.” Clarke said quickly
“And then how many more people will we tell? Where will we draw the line?” Lexa asked. The frustration on all three of their faces was evident as they tried to work a solution out. “"It is our only choice, and you both know it. You could have warned everyone up there, but you didn't. You said nothing, not even to your own people. This is war. People die. You both showed true strength today.” Lexa said as the other girls looked at each other.  “Don't let emotions stop you now. It's time to go.”
*********
Bellamy crept along the hallway to where his destination laid. He knew that he needed to hurry up and get the acid fog disabled, but it was proving harder and harder. When he heard the familiar crackle in his ear, he sighed.
“Talk to me.” Raven’s voice said. “Tell me what you see.
“Close your eyes and imagine a bottomless pit.” He said as he quickly looked around and headed off down another hallway. “That’s what this is. How much father?”
“According to Dante’s instructions, you’re almost there.” Raven said as she looked at the makeshift map in front of her.
“What about Clarke? Was she able to get to Tondoc in time?” Bellamy asked quickly as he slipped through a door.
“She should have. But it’s Clarke, she will get it done.” She said chewing on a pencil. “Now just focus on getting your ass to where you need to go and leave your sister and girlfriend to us.” The second she said it though, Raven knew she fucked up.
“Wait..Callie and O are in Tondoc? I thought you said they were back at the base?” Bellamy said quickly as he stopped. “Raven, why would you guys lie to me?”
“Because we needed you focused, Bellamy. And we still do. They are going to be fine, but you need to move or all of this will be for nothing.” She said quickly as she sent a silent prayer to the universe.
“Fine.” Was all he said before the radio clicked off.
********
Callie and Clarke stood in Lexa’s tent as they debated what to do. “I’m not leaving without my dad and Octavia.” Callie said. “No way in hell.”
“Calliope, if we don’t leave now, then all of us will be dead.” Lexa said quickly. “And in what way will that be helpful at all.”
Callie shook her head. “No. Take Clarke and get out of here. I’ll get my dad and Octavia.” She said as she started towards the tent opening.
“Callie, no. If something happens to you-” Clarke cut herself off as she grabbed the older girls arm.
“If something happened to me...make sure Bellamy knows there’s nothing he could of done.” She said before slipping back out. Using the light of the bonfire and torches, Callie spotted her father pretty quickly talking to Indra.
“Dad.” She yelled as she ran over to him. “Dad, we need to go now.” Looking around, Callie looked at the woman next to her father. “Have you seen Octavia?” She asked quickly. Indra shook her head as she stared at the redhead with a wondering look.
“She went out with one of the scouting parties. What is going on, young one?” Callie really didn’t want to lie to the older woman. She hated the thought, but if Lexa wanted her to know then she would have found a way to tell her. “Callie, where is the Commander?”
“They left...Clarke and Lexa left.” Callie said quietly. “There is a missile heading this way. And Clarke came here to warn people, but Lexa said that it would ruin the plan in the long run.” Callie saw the look of horror from her dads face and tried to ignore it. “We need to get out of here.”
“Callie you need t-” Whatever Kane was about to say to his daughter was cut off as it seemed like all the sound in the forest was wiped out and everyone was lifted off their feet almost at the same time. Callie felt her feet leave the earth and felt her body fly back before it impacted with a tree and she fell to the floor. The earth spun as she tried to figure out what the hell had just happened, and chaos erupted all around. The entire village was on fire and the ringing in her ears was so loud that it was like someone had set off an alarm inside her brain. Feeling herself be lifted up, her fathers face swam in and out of her vision as Callie looked around at all the destruction that was caused. All the bodies of people that she knew, dead and staring vacantly at the sky. The stars were covered by all the smoke that was rising from the ground.
She felt the hands on her as her vision tried to settle. Looking into Clarke’s eyes, Callie tried to find her footing and realized that her father was nowhere near where he was standing a minute ago. “Clarke...my dad. I don’t know where he is.”
“My mom is here. But we need to go NOW.” Clarke said as she led the redhead away from the town and towards where Lexa was. “We need to get to the spotter who aimed the missile.” She said as Lexa looked at Callie with a worried look.
“Clarke, if he’s the spotter then he’s here to make sure we are dead.” Lexa said. “If he knows we are alive.” She looked down at Callie trying to catch her breath against a tree. “And she is in no shape to go anywhere.”
“He won't know. I’m going to kill him. Callie, you need to stay here and help the wounded...i’ll be back as soon as I can.” Clarke said as she headed into the woods.
*****************************************************************************************************
Callie watched the two girls head into the dark woods and turned her attention back to the village. The damage was insane as she watched people run around and try to find loved ones that were buried under the rubble. Once her mind cleared, Callie realized that her father was nowhere to be found and panicked.
“Dad!” She yelled as she ran through the smoke and fire. Feeling hands grab her, Callie looked into Niyko’s worried face. “Niyko. Have you seen my dad?!” Her voice was horse from all the smoke and the damage to her body but Callie was more alert than ever.
“No, but you need to rest. You’re bleeding as well.” He said motioning to her forehead. The cut above her eyebrow stung as she realized she would probably need to get stitches later.
“No, I don’t have time. I need to find my dad.” She said looking around. Hearing her name, Callie looked over and saw Abby running towards her. Once the woman reached her, she made sure the girl was okay.
“Abby, my dad was standing right next to me when the missile hit.” She said loudly. The ringing in her ears made it hard to know if she was yelling because of the noise or because she couldn’t hear a damn thing.
“Callie, I will find him. I need you to get back to Camp and get help. Can you do that.” Abby asked as she tried to keep her voice calm. She noticed the girl not paying attention and raised her voice to get her to look. “Callie, please. If you can go get what I need to help people here, then we can save more people.”
Nodding, Callie took one look at Abby and bolted towards the woods that led to camp. She knew that she needed to get help, but her mind was also on if her father was alive or not. Callie felt like she had been running forever when she finally saw the lights of camp. James met her outside and the redhead just collapsed into his arms.
“Callie, what the hell happened?” He said as some of the others in the camp made their way around her. “We saw the light and heard the boom from here.”
“A missile. Mt Weather sent a missal.” She said quietly. “We need help for the wounded.” She looked up at some of the other people around as they ran and got what they needed. “We need to go back.”
“Callie, you need to get patched up first. You’re bleeding really bad.” James said as he moved her hair out of her eyes. The front matted in blood and covered in soot and smoke. Her skin was paler than usual as the blood loss took a toll on her.
“No. Just put a band aid on me and let’s go.” Callie said as she saw Jackson run over and quickly bend down to her.
“Callie, you’re gonna need stitches.” He said as he put gauze to her wound and taped it down.
“I know, but now isn’t the time. We have to go now.” She said as James helped her up. “There are more people who need help right now.”
James shook his head and tightened his grip on her body as he looked at the others running around, seeing Jackson as he ran over. “Callie needs stitches, but you need to go and help Abby. Take a few people and get supplies to the wounded.” He said as he reached down and scooped the girl next to him up.
“James, stop.” Callie said trying to fight her way out of his arms. “I promise i’m okay.” She knew that she wasn’t very convincing and Callie eventually gave up fighting and let James take her to get patched up.
“Cal, you can go help when I know that you’re going to be okay.” He said as he headed towards med bay. Entering the room, he sat her down on the bed as he looked around for things he would need.
“James, you’re great at a lot of things, but stitching me up is not one of them.” The redhead said as she put a cloth to her forehead. The fabric was getting soaked and the girl knew she needed to take care of it and let James help her. Moving back over to stand between her legs, James moved the cloth and checked the wound before getting the needle and thread ready to stitch.
“It might not look as good as when you do it, but at least you wont be bleeding everywhere anymore.” He said with a slight grin. “You ready? We don’t have time for pain meds right now.”
“Yeah, just get it done and over with.” Callie said, closing her eyes. Hissing as his hand touched the wound and pinched it together, the redhead held back a scream of pain as she felt the needle pierce her skin to sew the gash shut. After what felt like hours, James finally stood back and applied a bandage over it to keep it from infection and touched her arm.
“Hey, you’re good to go.” He said as he watched her open her eyes. Moving a strand of hair from her face, James stood there as his hands went to rest on Callie’s upper thighs. “You gonna be okay?” He asked as she looked down.
“Yeah, I will be once we get everyone out of that mountain.” She said as she jumped down from the bed. “I need to check on Raven, then we are going to go.” Callie didn’t wait for James to respond before she was running down the hallway to where Raven was. Busting into the room, Callie saw Raven at the radio and tried to ignore the look of worry she was given when the brunette saw her.
“Cal, what the hell!? Are you guys alright?” She asked as she quickly got up and walked over. Waving her away, Callie walked over to the radio.
“I’m fine. Has he checked in?” Callie asked as she sat down. Raven shook her head. “No...but he’s due to.”
As if on queue, Bellamy’s voice rang through the room.
“Raven, are you there?”
“Bell, it’s Callie.” She said as she grabbed the mic “Octavia and I are safe. Please tell me that you are as well.”
“Cal? Thank god, why did you lie to me? I told you to stay at camp so you were safe.” Callie could hear the worry in Bellamy’s voice as he tried to keep quiet.
“Because I didn’t need you to worry. I needed you to focus. Now are you almost to the fog chambers?”
“I’m working on it.” Bellamy said quickly. “Somethings wrong...my card isn’t working.”
Callie and Raven locked eyes as James entered the room. Both girls knew what it could mean with his card not working, but neither of them wanted to admit it. “Bell..what's going on?”
“Give me a minute. I need to figure something out.” And with that the connection cut out again. Pushing back, Callie stood up quickly. “Raven, you and Wick need to help him. I need to go find Clarke and help with what I can there.” Raven nodded as she went off to find the other man, leaving Callie and James alone.
“I’m going with you.” He said quietly. Callie shook her head with a sad smile.
“I need you here, to help in case we don’t make it back. I need to know there is someone here we can trust.” She said quietly, looking at the floor. Feeling his hand take hers, Callie finally looked up into his ice blue eyes.
“Callie, you can’t sacrifice yourself for him….he wouldn’t want you to.” James said softly as his hand moved to her cheek. “You can stay here and be safe.”
“James...I love him. And I know he would go through hell and back to make sure that I made it out of there alive as well.” She said as she moved his hand. “‘I’m sorry.” And with that, Callie pushed past the man in front of her and sprinted towards the mountain.
*******************
It felt like her lungs were on fire before Callie finally saw some of the people Lexa had brought to fight. Thankfully they recognized her and pointed her to where their leader was, Callie just hoped that she wasn’t too late. The whole time her mind was focused on Bellamy and everything that could have happened to him as he was stuck inside that mountain. Seeing Clarke’s blonde hair, Callie pushed on till she got to the other two girls.
“Callie!” Clarke yelled. “Thank god.” She said as they hugged. Stepping back, Callie nodded to Lexa who looked a little unnerved but hid it well.
“I think Bellamy has been discovered. His card didn’t work anymore and the only way for that to happen would be if he was caught.” Callie said as she tried to catch her breath. Before either of them could say anything, one of the grounders ran up to Lexa excitedly saying that they saw the signal.
“He made it.” Callie whispered. The pit in the bottom of her stomach was finally gone as she heard Lexa give the order to sound the horn to proceed. Noticing Octavia, Callie ran over to her. “O, thank god you’re okay.” She said quickly but was taken aback by the look on the girls face.
“You knew. You knew about the missile and you and Clarke were going to just let us take our chances.” Octavia spat at the older girl.
“O..please. I was coming to find you when it hit. We were told not to say anything BECAUSE Lexa told us not to. I wasn’t going to let anything happen to you though. I couldn’t let that happen.” Callie pleaded. She didn’t want the younger Blake mad at her too, but it seemed like it was heading in that direction.
Before Octavia could say anything, Clarke came running up. “Octavia. You’re not going to the mines with Indra. It’s too dangerous and I need to keep you safe.”
“Fuck you Clarke. I’m so tired of you and trying to keep me safe. I can take care of myself and obviously Indra thinks so too.”
“O, Bellamy would be devastated if anything happened to you. We just want you to stay alive.” Callie said quickly, hoping to stop a fight before it started.
“Worry about yourself Callie.” Octavia said before she turned and walked off. The older girls watched her for a second before Callie turned to the blonde.
“Come on...we have a job to do.”

The boys of 1:27 made a detour on a small BBQ shop on their way home to celebrate their successful performance for that night. Charlie promised them that she’ll pay for dinner and so they are stopped at the BBQ shack that they passed by on their way home. Everyone excitedly stepped out from the minivan with their arms around each other.
At this time of the night, they were the only ones inside the place. They took it as a go signal to be loud and did as they please. On a respectable manner, of course.
On one side, Johnny was filming a vlog with Mark and Doyoung. They talked about how they had fun at the performance and they wished that they can do more stuff like that in the future. Meanwhile, Taeyong helped Charlie decide what and how much to order.
The pair came out alongside the staff to help them in carrying their massive order. They brought out about five trays of barbeque and side dishes which almost didn’t fit the small rectangular table that they have. They thank the staff for their troubles and started gobbling marinated meat right away.
The staff then came out with another tray. This time, it was filled by glasses containing amber-tinted liquid.
The boys cheered as Charlie went around the table and gave each one a glass. Mark was the first one that was handed the drink and so he took a sip right away. He then started laughing uncontrollably as he takes a sip once again from the glass.
“Dude, it’s apple juice.”
Charlie went back to her seat smiling smugly.
“Of course, it’s apple juice. I’m not going to baby your drunk asses off when we get home.”
The table went quiet, filling the room with sounds of chewing and utensils clanking over plates. Doyoung tried to lighten the mood up and started sharing stories about the miniconcert that they were invited in. They also got along well with the other performers and started taking pictures with them as well.
Charlie whipped out her phone and showed everybody pictures and videos that she captured while they are performing. They can all hear the cheers and screams coming from the videos. The loudest was definitely Charlie. Everyone was excitedly jumping up and down and singing their song with them. They got all hot and sweaty from the humid weather and moving around the stage. That didn’t stop them from interacting and hyping up the audience. She even argued that it made them even more appealing, especially to the young ladies watching. Some of them even tried to get the boys’ number but they all politely declined and just settled for selfies instead.
They also played games that night which resorted to Mark paying almost half the bill as they left. The guys thanked the owners for not kicking them out for being so noisy and promised that they’ll be back to eat there again. They hopped inside one by one and passed out as soon as their bodies touched the seats.
Taeyong stayed up for a bit and waited until everyone was asleep. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and leaned on the glass window, making a tired peace sign. He sent you the pic and typed a message right after.
Taeyong: We did well today. I’m almost home. Missed u.
His thumb hovered over the send button for a while. He cringed at the last sentence and erased it before sending it to you and popped in his eyemask and headphones to sleep.

“Any more questions about your assignments for this month?”
Everyone remained quiet and just shook their heads in response. The team meeting took longer than expected and it is already past lunch time. You were impatiently scribbling on the notes that you took earlier. A little trick that you do so you will look like you’re busy doing something productive. Your thoughts are now clouded by hunger and boredom and and you kept looking at the clock ticking. You are silently praying that no one will ask a question and extend the meeting any further.
“Okay then.”
The supervisor, an old guy in his early fifties, finally closes the presentation and started closing the tabs in his windows. He shut the laptop down and slammed it close.
“We’ll see each other again same time next month. Remember to stick to your deadlines.”
Finally.
The room rattled as everyone tries to pack up their stuff and get out as fast as they can. You stood up from your chair. You did a bunch of weird poses to stretch your aching body from sitting down too long as you waited for the crown to dissipate before walking away from the room.
You grabbed your handbag from beside you and dug through tons of your unorganized stuff before you were finally to fish your phone out to do a time check. Instead, you were met by tons of photos and videos sent by Charlie that morning. They were mostly pictures of them rehearsing and goofing around the area. A slight curved on your lips as saved all of them in your phone and made your way into the breakroom.
Things are going well for the past couple of weeks. You and Taeyong barely talked before the event because he was busy practicing but at least you can finally look him in the eyes. Greetings are also once again exchanged, you even sent him off on their way to the event. With that out of the way, you’re finally able to catch up on to your prior commitments and saved yourself from being fired that week.
You bolted to the breakroom because you can now hear your stomach complaining. You politely bowed at everyone inside and snaked your way through a bunch of your coworkers. Today’s hot topic was them complaining about how long the meeting was and that Mr. Supervisor purposely stretched the meeting out because he wanted to spite all of you. None of that mattered to you though. The croquette that you made last night for lunch was the only thing on your mind. Upon reaching the fridge of the tiny breakroom, you microwaved your lunch for a few seconds before to your cubicle to eat in peace.
You greeted the one sitting beside you before you took a seat. The stacks of folders and papers were set aside to make way for your lunch bag. You carefully took the contents and dived right in to calm down your growling stomach. At the same time, you decided to pop in an earphone and listened to some of 1:27 recordings while eating. A ding! interrupted the music so you absent-mindedly opened the messages without seeing who it’s from.
Abby: Hey boo.
The text intrigued you. She wasn’t the type to text someone unless it’s an emergency.
  You: Oh hey. What’s up?”
Abby: Don’t freak out, okay?
Abby: I think I saw Yuta in the mall today.
You felt a lump on your throat, and it wasn’t your lunch. You felt as if someone threw a bucket of iced water at you. You’ve set your lunch down and immediately pressed reply.
You: You sure it’s him?
You: Guy might be visiting his sis. I’m sure it’s nothing.
Abby: You sure?
Abby: Would you like to stay at our place for a while? I’m sure big bro wouldn’t mind.
As much as you wanted to stay over at anyone’s house for tonight, the Li household wasn’t the best option either. The last time you slept over, he glared at you whenever you tried moving anything in the house by a small fraction.
This might be an overstatement but the only thing scarier than Yuta is judgmental Li Yongqin.
You: Yeah, it’s probably nothing. Don’t worry about me.
Abby: Just in case something happens, you have my number okay? Be safe.
You dropped your phone at your desk and you felt your body getting colder and your breaths getting shorter once again. Eating lunch didn’t feel right anymore so you placed the lid back on and slipped it back, exchanging it with the water bottle. You drank half of its content and took deep, long breathes to slow down your racing heart for a bit. You dizzily bobbed your head down and rested your head on your folded arms. People asked if you were okay but you just smiled weakly and insisted that you’ll just sit the day out until office hours was over
As the day ended, Abigail Li picked you up from work that day. She insisted that if you’re not staying over at their house, the least thing that she can do was to make sure that you get home safely.
“Are you sure that you don’t want to stay over? I’ll lock Yongqin in my closet upstairs if it makes you feel any better.” Abby knew what her brother did last time and she made Ten apologize for the glaring at her. He did some half-hearted apology before glaring one last time and shutting himself back to his room.
“Relax. I’ll be fine. It’s been years since we’ve last seen each other. He probably moved on already.”
A sigh left her mouth.
“Fine. Don’t forget to lock everything when you sleep, aight?”
///
The first thing you did as soon as you got home was to lock everything just like what Abby said. You said that you’ll be fine to assure Abby, but you know you couldn’t be too sure about Yuta. First thing you did was grab a few chips and a can of cat food for Felice. The bedroom was the most secure part of the house so you decided that the best thing to do was to camp in there until the morning comes.
You held Felice close and stroke her soft fur to calm yourself down. She had become your most loyal companion on your path to recovery when you shut yourself from everyone else. She snuggles into your chest and purred lightly, probably sensing your uneasiness.
You used all your willpower to sleep that night but your mind was restless. Even after you stuffed yourself full, drank room temperature milk and fiddled on some fancam videos, you just couldn’t your mind off of Nakamoto Yuta.
The last time that you saw him was when you were crying nonstop at the police station as Abby and Sophie held you in.
Everything played out in your head like a film in cinema.
Na Yuta.
Awesome performer.
Awful person.
(This part may be a trigger to some readers so if you wouldn’t be comfortable reading this, skip to the next ///)
Everyone knew that he’s a player. That’s the first thing that he told you when you met him. It made him look dangerous, something you just need in order to spice out your cookie cutter life. Your parents just went into divorce and your life was going downhill.
He’s just a perfect distraction.
It went well at first, you became his muse. He’d shower you with love and gifts. He made you feel things that you never felt before. That didn’t last very long though.
Not even a year later, fights became a common occurrence. You finally understood how someone can love and hate a person at the same time. As soon as you realized the kind of guy that he is, you couldn’t get out. You made excuses after excuses and still waited for the time that he will change.
He’d go on tours and you would hear stories about him being seen with other women. Plural. Witnesses gave you a different description at every story that you believed it was ridiculous. It’s probably a colleague. Or it was fan and hew was just doing a bit of fanservice. That’s what you believed because that’s what he’d tell you every time you would confront him about it.
At the few times that you did caught him, he’d lie blatantly as if he didn’t just get caught. You couldn’t also count the times that he’d turn the table around and find some guy to link you with. It tricked you into believing that it was your fault that he did it. That he regrets being with you.
You couldn’t also fathom that you cried yourself to sleep because of him. He wouldn’t respond at parties and it would take him days before responding. He made you feel that you are never good enough for him, damaging your self-esteem and confidence in the process. And then he would go full circle and be over the top with surprises and gifts. He starts to go all soft on you and made you weak against his touch and kisses. It’s reminder that only him can make you feel that good, even if he’s also the one who caused you pain.
You also turned your back against everyone. Nobody could contact you for months. It was mostly you, trying to keep your ego intact. You can already hear them mocking you and will remind you that they told you so. He also convinced you that nobody else will love you like he did. The absence of your friends and family made you lonely. It was like they didn’t even miss your presence. And so you clung unto him more.
But everyone has their breaking point. At that point, you’re numbed out. You didn’t even cry as you saw him bringing someone into your own home. It was the wakeup call that you needed to get away from him. You finally realized that you didn’t deserve to be treated like trash and broke things off with him right then and there.
He didn’t like that one bit. He saw you as his possession and no one can take you away from him easily. Yuta started following you around wherever you’ll go and asked you to talk things out with him. He’ll pop in at your office, at the club where you would drink your troubles away, or at any possible location where he knows that you would see him. He was switching back and forth from begging and reminding you the memories you both had into going full psycho and texting you that you’ll regret ever leaving him.
It made you so paranoid that you just flat out refused to go outside at the fear of meeting him. The girls wanted to do something about your condition, and decided that the best thing to get your mind off of things was to surprise you on your birthday.
They brought your favorite food with them and decorated the party with your favorite colors. It was unexpected and you even apologized to everyone for causing them trouble. The night made happy that night and finally be able to smile for the first time in months. All was going well until everyone decided to go outside and take a group photo. Yuta popped out of nowhere and started dragging you away. You were crying and begging him to let you go but he insisted that he needs to talk to you and it wouldn’t take a while.
All hell broke loose. The guys rushed outside to intervene. Sophie’s then boyfriend (now husband), was a big, strong man and was able to grab him by the collar and beat the living crap out of him right in front of you. The sudden violence made you cry harder than earlier. There was nothing that you can do besides watch as everything go down. Both the police and the paramedics came right after and disturbed the whole neighborhood.
That day was still, hands-down, the most awful day of your life. The memory was so horrifying that your birthday is doomed for life. Nobody ever tried to do something for your birthday again, as per your wishes.
You strike yourself as lucky that you don’t have to go to a psychiatrist or drink meds anymore to sleep. Flashbacks make you shake a little bit, but at least that’s manageable. You cannot say the same thing about meeting Yuta once again.
///
“Here’s your stop. I’m sorry I couldn’t drop you off by Y/Ns apartment. The street was small and it would be difficult to turn the van around.”
“It’s totally fine. Walking won’t hurt me.”
Taeyong grabbed his duffel bag and his guitar from the backseat and steps outside the vehicle. He waved at them goodbye before the van went back to the road. He adjusted the straps of his guitar case and duffel bag so he can carry them both comfortably as he begins to walk towards your place.
It was eerily quiet at that time and something just didn’t feel right. He tried to shake the feeling off and increasing his walking pace. It didn’t take long before he can see the building from a distance.
He didn’t know if he was just imagining things but he could’ve sworn that he saw a dark figure lurking in the darkness surrounding your apartment. He muttered a series of curses made a run for it.
///
Your thoughts were interrupted when you thought you heard footsteps coming from outside your house. You were jolted awake and started going into panic. Your heart pounded so much that you can hear it ringing through your ears. You forced yourself to not mind the sound and convinced yourself that you’re just imagining it.
You felt your heart drop as you heard the front door opening and swung slowly. You can definitely hear footsteps just right outside your door. That’s impossible. You locked every single entrance that night. Mind is getting a bit hazy at this point from hyperventilating. Despite this, you grabbed anything that you can get your hands on and decided to face the intruder head on.
You opened your bedroom door just started wielding the thing you are holding at whoever it is that’s outside. You heard a loud thud at the ground and a guy squirming in place.
“Oh shit.”
You quickly realized who it is and threw the blunt object away, now realizing that it’s a tripod. You kneeled down right in front of him and started panicking again. This time, it’s for a whole other reason.
“Oh my god, Taeyong. Are you okay?”

abby’s evening rambles
I think I might try to make this a daily thing? If not daily then at least when I’m in a rambling mood. But I’m here to ramble so. Yeah. :’3
I’ve been playing a lot of miitopia lately. I had to archive my sword and shield data on my switch because sword took up the majority of like… my storage space on my switch. Which was like, a little over 12 gb? And shield was half of that. So I’ve mostly been playing miitopia or animal crossing because like… me and my friends have been playing it. I send my friends a lot of miitopia pictures I take. And sometimes me and my friends play animal crossing together! It’s pretty cool. :3
I also like. Had an idea recently. I’m thinking about maybe getting me and my partner promise rings :’3 we’ve talked about proposing before right? We’re just not sure when it’ll happen. But like. I think promise rings sound cute :3
I think that’s all the rambles I got for tonight lol

The 126 fire station
The shift is coming to an end and no one is complaining about it. It’s been a long day. They haven’t lost anyone but they barely had any time to catch their breath in between calls and one look at his team is enough for Owen to know they are all taking a nap as soon as the truck parks at the station. He is right, as usual. His son is the only one who’s not heading to the bunk room. He had a big smile on his face all day long.
“What makes you so happy son?” Owen finally asks, wanting to know the reason his exhausted son is looking at his phone, smiling, instead of catching up some well-deserved rest.
“Carlos keeps sending me those pictures” TK replies with a huge grin on his face. “It’s his day off, and his mom insisted on taking the kids shopping.”
“Rookie mistake” Owen says. He tried once and his ‘quick shopping trip’ lasted for hours.
“They’ve been in the same store for three hours and Isabella has pretty much tried every piece of clothing she could find” the Strand boy adds while showing his dad all the photos Carlos had sent. The first three are very cute and show Bella wearing the beautiful clothes her grandmother picked out for her. Carlos’ mom is behind her with a bright and hopeful smile on her face. TK keeps scrolling to show his dad the rest of the outfits, dozens and dozens of pictures. From the reflection in the mirror, both men can see Mrs. Reyes’ hopes to leave the store slowly disappearing from her face. The last one is the one that melts TK’s heart the most. It’s a picture of his favorite little monster wearing a yellow hoodie and Carlos added the caption ‘She said she wanted to look like her daddy’.
“If they keep going like that, they will still be at the store tonight.”
“Not a chance” TK assures. “Her big brother won’t miss a dinner at the Diaz's for anything in the world.”
“My little man is not the only one excited about tonight. I can’t wait to see the Buckaroos” says Owen, he looks around them, the firehouse is quiet. His team is sleeping, Michelle is on a call. Something is obviously missing.
“Yeah, it’s weird here without big Buck” TK admits. Buck and him quickly became friends and not seeing him at work every day is weird, but he knows the blonde will be back at work in no time. He knows the whole team looks forward to seeing the youngest Diaz at the station again. Eddie of all people wants him by side, but he will not admit it in front of the others. His husband has a good reason to stay away from his job a little longer.
“We still have one hour left before the end of shift” the captain says. “You should try to rest a bit. I’m sure Buttercup is already warming up your bed.”
One hour of sleep won’t be enough to get properly rested from the long day they had, so TK decides to help his father filling the reports from all the calls they had. He sits on the couch on the corner of the captain’s office and Buttercup comes to sit next to him. They are halfway done with the paperwork when the shift is officially over. The members of the crew come quickly to let their captain know they are heading home.
“Go, son, I’ll finish this alone,” Owen says. “I’ll see y’all tonight, guys”.
“See you” Eddie replies as he’s practically running, eager to come home to his family.
“Are you sure dad?” TK never liked paperwork, but he knows they can get it done faster together.
“Sure. I’m sure Bella is going to want to wear one of her new outfits tonight and she might need some help choosing from everything her grandmother bought her”, the kid’s grandfather says. He knows it’s probably true because no one ever spends more money than him spoiling his three grandkids.
“Okay then, see you soon.”
The Strand-Reyes’ house
TK drives back to his place. He doesn’t have a lot of time before they have to leave for the Diaz’s but he will make the most of the time he has with his family. He walks into the living room and kisses his husband before telling him and Matias about his day. The oldest is still too young to understand everything about his dads jobs but he knows they are both heroes who save people. Owen would love to see him being a third-generation firefighter but he will never influence his grandkids. Luis is playing on Carlos’ lap, stretching his arms towards TK for him to hug him. Owen was wrong about something, Isabella only got two new pieces of clothes. A dress, bought by Carlos’ mother, and the hoodie Carlos bought her. TK knows that she decided to wear this one because she’s holding his in her tiny hands.
“Oh, you want me to wear mine too, huh?” he asks his 3-year-old daughter. TK grabs his hoodie and carefully puts Luis on the couch next to his dad. “I’m gonna take a quick shower and we’ll be ready to go.”
Carlos does not reply. He watched over his baby boy while helping Matias finish the drawing he made as a gift for tonight’s hosts. Owen once told his grandkids to never show to someone’s house empty-handed, and even though the Captain was thinking about the nice bottle of wine he always brings when he’s invited somewhere, he’s glad to see that the boy learned that gesture from him. Matias makes sure to draw something lovely every time, and now the whole team has an original Matias Strand-Reyes drawing on their fridge.
The Diaz’s house
Buck just hang up the phone with Carla. They still facetime from time to time. It’s not the same as having her around, but the Diaz family will always have a soft spot for her. She helped them in so many ways, they won’t ever know how to repay her for everything.
Eddie and the rest of the 126 will be here soon. So Buck sets his phone on the kitchen counter, enjoying the view of his entire family on the screen before opening the recipe he was given last week. He still thinks about Carla and a conversation they had a few years ago.
Buck had come home after a quiet shift. His apartment barely felt like home. He used to love it so much but ended up finding it empty and cold. He was so happy during his shift, smiling while working under the burning LA sun. Somehow, his joy disappeared when he crossed the threshold. He was missing something. He didn’t want to stay at his place, so he texted Maddie but she had plans with Chimney. He texted Carla and she just replied with ‘just get your ass here Buckaroo’. Her husband was working late and she cooked extra food so she didn’t mind having Buck for dinner at her place.
As soon as he arrived, she asked him why he wasn’t with Eddie. The second Eddie’s name left her mouth, she couldn’t place another word. Buck started by explaining the firefighter was having a family dinner with his parents and his Abuela. It was one of those rare times his parents were in town and Buck didn’t want to bother them by coming along, even though Eddie invited him. After explaining that, he never stopped talking. He told Carla about the amazing idea Eddie had at work to save a girl, and then he kept on talking about his best friend. Carla could barely speak. She didn’t mind, she loved that boy. He had a kind heart and she knew it the second he knocked on Abby’s door to help her find her mom. It was getting late and they both knew it because Buck commented on the fact that Eddie and Chris’ dinner was probably done since Eddie had sent him a picture of Chris falling asleep in front of the movie. Helena and Ramon didn’t seem to be there and Buck assumed they went back to sleep at their hotel. Carla looked at him with a huge smile.
“What?” Buck genuinely asked her, not realizing what she was smiling about.
“You’ve been talking about Eddie for two hours Buckaroo.”
“No. I’m-I’m not” he babbled. “I’m just making conversation.”
“It’s okay. I know you love him.”
“Of course I love him. I love all my team” he said, trying to control his voice that started to crack.
“That’s not what I mean. You are in love with him, Buck.”
“I-I’m not. We are best friends. He’s my best friend.” he repeated, more to convince himself to convince her.
He hugged her goodbye, and spent the next hours in his empty apartment, looking around. He saw Eddie’s key on his key ring, the dishes from the dinner they had together the night before were still in the sink, and the shopping list on his fridge had Eddie’s handwriting on it because he knew Buck always forgot important stuff while shopping, so his best friend adds them on the list to be sure he gets everything he needs. Eddie and his son’s presence is everywhere, from Chris’ drawing next to the shopping list on the fridge, to his bedside table where the framed pictures from the first time they went to see Santa together next to the one of him and Maddie. But none of them were in the room, and that was the reason why his place felt the cold. For the first time in a while, he did not spend his free time with the Diaz boys.
Carla was right. He needed Eddie like he needed air. He loved Eddie. This realization scared him. He could not love him. His friend would freak out and leave him if he knew Buck loved him. But Buck was the one freaking out and he couldn’t stop himself from picturing every possible scenario in his head. He was about to grab his jacket to go out when he realized he didn’t even take it off after coming back from Carla’s. He took his key and jumped in his jeep.
Buck can barely hear Eddie coming behind him. The blonde is slightly bending on the kitchen counter, cutting vegetables. It’s one of the rare moments where he looks smaller than Eddie. Taking advantage of Buck’s position, the older man rests his head in between Buck’s neck and his shoulder, lacing both his hands around his husband’s waist and watches him preparing their dinner. Eddie’s muscles are tense from work, and the nap in the bunk room didn’t do any good to his body, but feeling the man he loves in his arms is exactly what he needs to feel better. Buck smells like home; the scent of the dinner he’s cooking, the perfume of the kids shampoo from when he gave a bath to Andrea before and the gentle musk of the aftershave they both use.
It’s their time to host the 126 monthly dinner and Buck wants it to be perfect because he knows these nights are as important for their kids as it is for them. Andrea is always enjoying being around the rest of the kids, and she loves when they are hosting it because she gets to play house and entertain her crowd. Both men know she will be in the kitchen with them in no time, she always is. Eddie notices his husband looks distracted.
“What’s going on in that pretty head of yours?” he said, while both his hands are still around him. His fingers are slowly touching Buck to bring him back from the thoughts he seems to be lost in.
His head is still playing back the memories of the day that changed his life forever.
In front of the Diaz’s door, Buck froze. He turned his back to the door and started walking back to his car. It was late, it was stupid. He should go home. But he moved towards the door again. It was dark and cold outside, and Buck was pacing, not knowing what to do. His heart wanted to go towards Eddie while his head told him to go back home and forget everything Carla told him. But his feet didn’t know who to listen to. He knocked gently on the door before he had time to think about what his mouth was supposed to say.
Eddie looked at him, and smiled before letting him in. He was not really surprised to see Buck at his door. There was always beer in the fridge and his favorite snacks somewhere in case his friend showed up.
“I don’t want to lose you,” Buck whispered. Eddie was close enough to hear it, but he didn’t understand it. Where was this coming from? None of them were injured during their shift, Eddie had no intention of moving out, things were fine and Buck was not making any sense.
“You won’t lose me Buck. I’m fine, and I’m not going anywhere”.
“But I might lose you,” Buck said, a little louder but he looked more scarred that Eddie had ever seen him. “You might never want to see me again.”
“That won’t happen. Not to us.” Eddie promised him, he meant it. He was never gonna let anything come in between them. “Talk to me, man.”
“I can’t. I can’t do this” Buck was turning his back on him, putting his hand on the door handle to run home and forget this. Eddie placed his hand on Buck’s to stop him from opening the door.
“I can’t risk losing what we have” the blonde said, his back still turned away from his friend.
“Okay, now you are scaring me” Eddie confessed, while he gently forced Buck to turn his face to him. He was not letting him go. “What’s going on in that head of yours?”
“It’s not my head that’s the problem.”
“What’s your problem?” as soon as the words left his mouth, they echoed with their argument during his first day, but his tone is gentle. Just like this day, Eddie’s eyes won’t leave Buck.
“You’re my problem” Buck replied, and Eddie’s mind is definitely went back to the gym where they had that heated talk. This time Buck’s voice is not angry. He’s almost whispering and his gaze left Eddie’s eyes to look at the hand, nicely rested on his shoulder, his thumb gently pressed on Buck’s neck, slowly coming up to be on his face, and that’s exactly the problem. His heart is racing against his chest and he feels like if the other man comes any closer his heart will beat so hard he will jump out of his chest and crumble on the floor.
“Did I do something wrong?”
“There is nothing wrong with you, Eddie. You’re perfect, you’re too perfect. I l-” he tried to stop himself but it was too late. The words were half unspoken and he had to finish what he started. Carla’s voice was playing on repeat in his head and Eddie was still looking at him. He didn’t know for how long he was silent. The sound of his heart sounded even louder suddenly as Eddie’s left hand mirrored his right one on the other side of Buck’s cheeks. Using his gentle hold on his face to force Buck to look at him, Eddie broke the unbearable silence.
“There’s nothing you can say that could make me love you less” Eddie said. Buck’s lips were finally moving to say something before he fully registered what the other just said.
“Wh-What?” Buck rambled.
“You heard me Buck” Eddie said softly. But if it meant the face in between his hands can finally stop shaking, he was willing to say it as many times as he needed to. “I’m in love with you, you fool. And I’m seriously hoping that that’s what you were trying to say or I will be the fool”.
Buck nodded, still shaking. He didn’t know what else to do, but Eddie was cupping his head his tender hands, and the shaking stopped when Eddie’s lips met his.
They definitely had to thank Carla for that and she was pretty proud to include this in her toast at their wedding reception years later.
Smiling, Buck fully comes back to reality. Eddie’s body against his is anchoring him to the present. Sometimes it’s still feels like a dream, all of it seems too good to be true. But it is real, as real as Eddie’s breath against the back of his neck.
“I just- I just love you Eddie.” the man declares like it’s the first time. Eddie does not need to hear him say it to know how much his husband loves him. But he will never get tired of hearing those three words.
“And I love you too” he replies while placing a kiss down Buck’s neck. No matter how many times he says these words, he will always feel like the man in front of him is constantly surprised to hear that he is loved. He could repeat them for the rest of their lives if it means to be greeted by the most genuine smile in return. “But this house is soon going to be full of hungry kids” he reminded him before they both lost themselves in the moment “and we don’t want to hear TK bragging about Carlos’ cooking skills.”
“You wanna turn this diner into a cooking competition, Diaz?” Buck teases.
“You know you’ve been a Diaz too for the past five years, right?” Eddie asks and there’s suddenly a wide grin on Buck’s face.
“I know, I just love the sound of that.” Buck sighs when he feels Eddie’s hands leaving his body, but his pout turns into another big smile when he feels his fingers taking the knife out of his hand to help him with the cooking.
Eddie cuts the vegetables left on the kitchen counter when Buck happily starts the rest of the recipe. Andrea appears in between them but has no interest in helping with the dinner. She’s only interested when her dad is making desserts, so she can give a hand and fill her stomach at the same time. By the time Eddie arrived, the cake is already on the oven, so Andrea just hangs with her dads while they do the rest of the boring work. She’s five but she’s already teasing her older dad on his lack of cooking skill.
“Dada” she said while clinging to Buck’s leg, “Don’t let daddy cook. I’m hungry.”
Buck can’t hold his laugh in, and Eddie would be lying if he said he didn’t find it cute. He took her by the hand and guided her towards the cupboard.
“What if you helped me set the table while Dada makes us something we can actually enjoy?” Eddie asked her with a big smile.
Andrea is not complaining, setting the table is something she really enjoys, it’s something usually the grownups do in their house and she feels like a big girl when she is doing it. Eddie gives her the plastic plates for the kids’ table, and she happily walks towards the table where she’s about to have a great time with her friends. She puts the green plate next to hers because she knows it’s Matias’ favorite color. Bella is going to be in front of her, next to Tucker Ryder. And for the rest of the kids, the smaller ones, they will be on their parents’ lap, at the grownup table. Aside from Bella, the other kids never complained about sitting at another table, they all love to have their secret conversations without their parents being here.
“Can I help?” Chris asks. His voice is joyful. He loves those dinners too. Especially since, unlike his sister, he gets to be at the adult table. The 14-years-old has known the 126 for a long time, they are his family.
Before Eddie can think of something he could ask his son to do, the door rang.
“Well, you can welcome our guests, buddy,” he says before jogging to the kitchen to see if the dinner is ready.
“Buck, don’t let dad near the food” Chris jokes before opening the door.
In a few minutes the first guests will arrive and the pressure from the day will vanish, and be replaced with love, laughter and happiness. No matter how tired everyone is after a shift like this one, knowing they are together in this will always make things better.

Hand in Hand~Alyssa Naeher x Ashlyn Harris
Tumblr media
Prompt: there's a picture out there that looks like Alyssa is proposing to Ash so, here’s a proposal fic that was super fun to write.
Requested by: @knight-16
Alyssa PRO//
“Are you sure this is a good plan?” I asked Ali Krieger, my good friend and my hopefully soon-to-be fiancé Ashlyn Harris’s best friend.
“Yes, this is perfect.”
“Well what if I mess this up or, what if she doesn’t like the ring or, oh god what if she says no-”
“Lys, relax. She’s not going to say no. The women is head over heels in love with you.”
“I could still mess up.”
“You won’t. Trust me.”
I had been planning my proposal to Ashlyn for months, it took me 3 months to even decide on the ring for her. I have known she was the one since our second year anniversary. We’ve been dating for 2 and a half years and I couldn’t be happier. She completes me and I fall in love with her more everyday. I knew in my heart that she would say yes even if I proposed with a ring pop candy ring but I still wanted everything to be perfect.
The plan was to wait until after our game tonight and after we get back to our apartment I’ll ask her if she wants to go for a walk and then I would take her to our spot on the beach we like to visit almost everyday. Once there we’ll sit and chat for a while like we usually do and then I’ll carry out the rest of my plan and pop the question. I was beyond nervous but I was also over the moon about finally getting to this milestone with her.
“Hey babe! You ready?” Ashlyn said, taking me by surprise.
“H-hi love. I am.”
I quickly shoved my phone in my bag so she couldn’t see what I was showing Ali
“You okay?”
“Yeah, just nervous is all.” I admitted
“You have no reason to be nervous Alyssa, you’re starting in the game, which is a first for this set of friendlies I know but you’re going to show Vlatko just how amazing and badass you are.”
She came up behind me, and wrapped her arms around me, kissing my neck softly.
“Oh, you can do it just know that I believe.” She sang
I smiled softly when I realized what she was doing. We watched the High School Musical movies religiously and I instantly knew the song from the 3rd movie.
“And that’s all I really need.”
“So come on.”
“Make me strong. Time to turn it up, game on.” I giggled as we finished singing.
Ali was watching and recording the whole thing, smile just as bright as we were.
“You guys are the cutest.”
“Thanks, we try.” Ash said flipping her hair
“I needed that boost. Thank you.”
“of course baby. Now go kick some ass.”
She slapped my butt playfully as we started to head out to the tunnel. I met up with the little girl whose hand I would hold and walk onto the field and she talked animatedly about how excited she was to go out and I promised we would wave to her parents when we did. I was behind Megan who was first in line since she was captaining this game and when we stepped onto the field I was swept away by the crowd and how loud they were. I have been playing on the national team for years now but I will never get over that first cheer or the adrenaline rush I feel before a game. After the anthems, pictures and shaking hands with the other team we got into a huddle for once last pep talk
“Okay listen up. We’ve watched plenty of game footage and strategized, we can beat this team. If we take care of the big things, all the little pieces will fall into place, alright?”
We all nodded in agreement.
“Oosa on 3!… 1!… 2!… 3!”
“OOSA, OOSA, OOSA” We shouted together.
We broke off to get into our positions and I headed into goal. I took a deep breath, jumped up and down a couple of times and stretched my arms, determined to remain completely focused. I wanted a clean sheet really bad.
It was the 67th minute when things changed, up until that point I had stopped every shot that the Brazilian players sent my way, every set piece went off without a hitch and we were up 1-0. Unfortunately, Becky accidentally fouled Marta in the box and gave away a penalty. She turned to me looking guilty.
“It’s okay Beck, I got it.” I said patting her on the back.
I knew I could stop the shot and after listening to instructions from the ref and waiting for everyone else to be ready I turned out everyone else around me and focused solely on the ball. I could feel Marta’s eyes on me but I refused to look her in the eye because I knew she was trying to get in my head. She backed up a few steps before firing the ball toward the upper right 90, I could see she was going to go there so I leapt in that direction and was able to slap the ball away and out of danger. After I got up from the ground my teammates swarmed me and shouted praise in my ear as we hugged.
“SO BADASS!”
“FUCK YEAH BABE!”
“Go, set up for the corner!” I yelled
I was overjoyed that I kept my clean sheet but I knew we still had work to do and was locked in. They did as I said and Marta once again took the set piece, she sent the ball into the box but I was able to come off my line and punch it away. We regained possession and Abby passed the ball to Christen who passed it to Lindsey and she took it into Brazil’s final 3rd. Our counter attack was strong and I was watching intensely as my teammates went for another goal. Lindsey crossed the ball the Megan but she was between 2 defenders so she wasn’t able to get the shot off, she decided to pass to Alex who was able to fire it into the net. I watched as my teammates cheered and celebrated and I couldn’t help but let a massive grin spread across my face. The rest of the game went on without many chances for either side and we were able to walk away with a solid 2-0 win.
After we signed autographs and took pictures we all made our way back into the locker room, I was putting my stuff away when I felt someone pick me up from behind. I squealed quietly at the sudden movement but knew exactly who it was.
“THAT WAS SO BADASS BABY, I’M SO FUCKING PROUD OF YOU.” Ashlyn yelled as she set me down. I turned around and jumped on her, hugging her tightly as she peppered my neck with kisses and eventually moved to my head, face  before finally planting a deep kiss on my lips.
“Thank you. I couldn’t have done it without you.”
“Yes you could, and you did. I just gave you a little pep talk.” She chuckled
We kissed some more before someone cleared their throat.
“Look, I love you both and you’re super cute together but please… get a room.” Alex groaned
I instantly felt my cheeks turn a deep red as Ash just smirked at her.
“You’re just jealous because Kelley grounded you from sex for a week.” She said
She just flipped Ash off and stomped away. Everyone laughing at her faking being mad. Kelley pouted at her sympathetically as she whispered something in her ear. A dopey grin spread across her face and I knew she had been freed from the dog house.
After an hour of celebrating the win Ash and I bid goodnight to our teammates and headed back to our apartment. We lived in Orlando together which was great but playing on different NWSL teams made being separated during the season hard but we made it work; we spent all of our offseason together and made sure to make frequent weekend trips to be together. I knew after I proposed, I would immediately get to work on requesting a trade to the Pride. Our regular season was almost over so the opportunity couldn’t be better.
“So, how do you want to celebrate your amazing performance tonight?” Ash whispered in my ear, slightly nibbling on it as we sat on the couch.
“W-well, I was thinking of taking a walk together on the beach.”
She took to kissing my neck and as much as I wanted to celebrate like that I had planned to much for this not to pan out.
“A walk?” She seemed slightly disappointed, I felt bad but we could always celebrate after we were officially engaged.
“Yeah, I would like to take a walk. It’s so nice out.”
“Okay, then a walk it is.”
I kissed her sweetly before whispering in her ear
“Don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of fun later tonight.”
She shuddered and I smirked at her. She smiled at me before taking my hand and pulling me up with her. I pretended to go to the bathroom so that I could grab the ring I had stashed away and when I was sure I had everything I needed and shaken out my nerves, I reemerged and we left our apartment. walking hand in hand to the beach. When we got there, we walked along the sand, I had taken off my shoes and let the water flow over and under my feet, loving the calm, cool feeling.
“You did so good today, I’m so proud.”
“Thank you. You’re my biggest fan.”
“I always will be.”
After a while I led us over to our spot, which was a section of rocks that were comfortable to sit on and gave us a good few of the whole ocean. Ashlyn turned to me and I could have sworn her eyes were literally sparkling under the moonlight.
“Hi.”
“Hey there.”
We just looked at each other for several moments, and then Ash broke the silence by tapping me on the nose.
“You have such a cute nose, did you know?” She asked, smiling like a fool. “I didn’t but thank you. So do you.” I giggled, tapping her nose in return.
We continued messing around, smiling and laughing and I fell in love with her all over again.
“If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?” She asked
“I would be right here, with you.”
She smiled lovingly at me in return before kissing me. We sat in comfortable silence for a few more minutes before Ashlyn got up, turned away from me and stretched.
I knew this was my chance so without any hesitation I got down on one knee, ring in hand and waited for her to turn around. When she did, her eyes immediately filled with tears.
“Oh my god.”
“Ashlyn Michelle Harris, I have loved you since the day we met all those years ago. You are the light of my life, my rock, my person and I can not imagine my life without you. Will you make me the happiest women alive and marry me?”
She stood in shock for a moment, tears flowing freely down her cheeks. At this point I was in tears too, my heart was going a million miles an hour as I waited for her to answer.
“Yes, yes a million times yes!” She shouted as she tackled me into the sand.
“I love you.” She cried
“And I love you.”
Still on top of me, she looked down at me with so much love I thought she would burst. Our lips met in a passionate kiss and we made out for a moment before finally sitting up to breath.
“So what do you say, you wanna put the ring on?”
“Oh, yeah. I totally forgot about that.”
I laughed through my tears as I slid the ring onto her finger. It was a simple gold band but Thad a decent sized diamond in the center. She inspected it for a moment before saying
“It’s perfect, I love it.”
“I really thought and hope you would” I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding.
We sat in silence again as we took in the moment, we were officially engaged and it meant the world to us both.
“How did you do so well at hiding this from me?” Ashlyn asked
“I had a little help from Ali.”
“Ah, I shoulda known. Good ol’ Kriegs.” She chuckled
“How do you think we should tell the team?”
“We could…. Invite them over for dinner tomorrow and see how long it takes for them to notice the ring?”
“Excellent idea.”
“I should probably tell Ali first, she’s been blowing my phone up for the last hour.” I laughed
“That’s a good idea. Tell her I said thank you.”
“I will.”
“I can’t wait to be Mrs. and Mrs. Neaher-Harris.”
“The day I get to call you my wife will be the greatest of my life.”
After I texted Ali, swearing her to secrecy, we laughed at her excited response.
I was excited for this new chapter in our lives and I knew no matter what life threw at us Ash and I would get through it together, hand in hand.
I’m sorry this took a hot minute. Sorry for any mistakes.

[AN: This is gonna be a long post, because I have tons of pictures. Sorry about that! Also, Callie Gilliland is wearing PANTS (!!) for some of the pictures, and I didn’t notice until it was over, so just use your imagination and pretend she’s being appropriately modest! As a final note, what do you think of this writing style? I’m planning to do a mix of 3rd-person and blog posts, is that okay?]
No Rest for the Rowans

I am so glad I got to share this PRECIOUS MOMENT with them! We all brought a dish- I made a big dish of DELICIOUS SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE!!!! It’s just so important to eat healthily- there’s lot of VITAMINS in that tomato sauce! 😊

Yes, a helpmeet- you heard me right!!!! I gave BIRTH to our PRECIOUS HELPMEET Isabella Marie Rowan a few days after the baby shower!! Henry Bob had to watch Alex for a while while I had the baby in the other room- he wasn’t happy at all but it’s not like he had a CHOICE!!!! I apologized to him IMMEDIATELY after birth however- he WAS right, men SHOULD NOT have to do the role the Lord designed for WOMEN!!! That’s two out of two births he’s MISSED but it’s not THAT big of a deal. 😊
Tumblr media
Alex wasn’t so happy too, but I reminded him that mommy and daddy NEED to have lots and LOTS of children to PLEASE the LORD. I also told him that God would be VERY angry with him if he has BAD THOUGHTS about baby Izzie, and I sent him to his room without dinner to REPENT for his SINS! (Remember, EVEN TODDLERS can go to HELL!!)
That’s enough for today, I’ve said QUITE A BIT!! We’re planning on getting some more portraits done with the NEW MIRACLE. I just LOVE Charlotte Hoover’s photography, and she does them for FREE (!!) because Henry Bob helped out her father Pastor LEONEL HOOVER with FINANCES at a discounted rate!! (After all, he is the PASTOR!)
BE BLESSED!!
~Kaylie 😊
