This is a story for the Max (and Taylor Swift) girlies.

Summary: They were doomed from the start. Two completely different worlds colliding, there was no way this could work. But what happens when they keep running into each other, as if gravity was pulling them together.

A/N: This is the first chapter guys! I'd love some feedback :) Enjoy !

Having recently graduated meant finding a job and getting your life together.

But Juliette was only 25, how was she supposed to know for sure what she wanted at this point in her life?

Juliette was completely lost. She wanted to do everything and nothing at the same time. Everyone expected her to know everything, especially her parents.

Instead of facing their incessant questions on the matter, she ran away, in hopes of overcoming her current situation.

Hence why Juliette booked her tickets for Italy, and found herself wandering the streets of Orta San Giulio.

Juliette felt at peace here, the sound of the water banging against the boats, the cool breeze gently brushing her cheek, the smell of sea water. She didn't know anyone, and no one knew her. No one to expect her to be anything.

She was strolling through a bookshop, her fingers brushing the edges of the books as she went. Her eyes lit up as her hand touched her favorite book. She couldn't even tell how many times she'd read it, but it always had the same gut-wrenching effect on her. She took one last glance at the book before leaving, Martin Eden, by Jack London, a fan favorite, or at least hers.

As she left the store, Juliette’s phone rang. It was Pierre.

“Ju?”

“Yes Pierre?”

“Did you arrive safely? You were supposed to text me once you get there.”

“Sorry dad!” She laughed. Pierre was her best friend and he could be a tad bit overprotective sometimes.

“You know I worry about you. How are you feeling?”

“Don’t worry, I’m fine, I just need time to figure things out for myself” Juliette was lying. She wasn’t fine. Her anxiety was really getting the best of her lately.

“I know, and you’ll figure it out. You’re the clever one, you’ll find your path” Replied Pierre, trying to reassure her.

“Easy for you to say, “Mister I always wanted to be a Formula One Driver”” .

Juliette and Pierre met when she was in middle school. They actually met in detention. Pierre was there after talking back to a teacher and Juliette was there after throwing her eraser on a friend. He was three years older than her and immediately saw her as the sister he never had. Since then, she has been cheering for him throughout his entire career, being there for each milestone. She was very proud of him.

“What can I say, I have always dreamt big” laughed Pierre “By the way” he added “Kika is coming to spend a couple days with my family next week, will you be there?” Pierre asked.

“Of course! I can’t wait to see her again!” Juliette was so happy to see Kika again, she was a real sweetheart. She was glad Pierre had found her.

“Well I gotta go Pierre, I’ll call you back during the week, alright?”

“Ok, take care Ju, love ya!”

"Love you, see you soon!" replied Juliette.

Juliette cherished her friendship with Pierre more than anything. They couldn't see each other often due to his intense schedule, but he was always there for her and vice versa. To her, he wasn't Pierre Gasly, he was just Pierre, her best friend from middle school. She felt really lucky to have such a friend by her side.

Juliette kept exploring the city for a couple hours. As the evening went on, she decided to grab a bite in the nearest restaurant. Once she settled, she pulled out her film camera, snapping candid shots of the people surrounding her.

That camera was always in her hand, having thousands of film rolls at home, each capturing snippets of her life.

She watched the people through her lens throughout the whole dinner, until her gaze fell on a pair of piercing bright blue eyes already staring back at her. She slowly lowered her camera, and looked away shyly, embarrassed that she'd been caught red-handed.

She looked back up and that’s when it hit her. She knew those dashing blue eyes. They belonged to none other than Max Verstappen, one of Pierre’s fellow drivers. Except for Charles, she had never met any of them, trying to stay away for the spotlight as much as possible.

Juliette was completely mortified, and to make matters worse, he was headed in her direction.

“Ciao” he said when he reached her, cringing at his own attempt to speak Italian.

It was all it took to make Juliette burst out laughing, a mixture of surprise and nervousness.

After seeing Max’s defeated look, Juliette pulled herself together.

“I’m sorry”, she said “It’s just, I wasn’t expecting you to speak Italian”.

This made Max smile.

“You speak English… then, made a fool out of myself here, didn’t I?” he asked, chuckling.

“Kind of, but it was entertaining” she softly replied with a grin. Realising he had been standing there for five minutes, she invited him to sit with her, which he did.

"I'm Juliette by the way"

"Nice to meet you Juliette, I'm Max"

“So,” he kept going, “did you take any nice pictures, hopefully some with me in them” he said smirking.

“So you did see... Well, I would’ve but I got a little interrupted” said Juliette.

"Don't worry, I'm flattered" he replied laughing.

"Don't go feeling too special, I take many candid shots of strangers... Although it might sound weird like that" she laughed. "I just find it beautiful to capture snippets of life".

"Well you definitely make it sound beautiful" he replied with a warm smile, making her blush.

They stayed like this for a while, chatting about this and that, although Max failed to mention that he was an F1 driver and Juliette, on her part, failed to mention that she knew who he was and that Pierre was her best friend. They both did not want to make this conversation weird, knowing that were never going to see each other again anyway.

"Well, Max, it was lovely to meet you, but I think I'm gonna head out" said Juliette after a while.

"Yeah me too, have a good night Juliette" replied Max with a smile.

"Good night Max" said Juliette softly before leaving.

They each went their own way, a smile on their face as they though about this one-off encounter.

But after all, Orta San Giulio isn't a big town. Who knows, they might run into each other again.

- she is obviously her brothers celebrity captain

- when they’re all coming out she’s got a pep in her step as dave announces her team, “and so not only is this the first time having two brothers be co-captains but also their celebrity coach is their sister, award winning singer and songwriter, chloe hughes!”

- a lot of her fans are there and cheering her on as well, “hi everyone!”

- jack and quinn are talking and she leans over to them, “you do realize everyone can hear you right now?”

- this is going on while tate is making their pick and all you can hear is her laughing at her best friend

- before they pick nikita, chloe has some words to say, “for the record i think our team should’ve been team petey featuring the hughes’ but that’s just me.”

- quinn slapped her arm, “what? petey’s left out”

- she obviously makes the first pick, “anyways with our first pick of the evening, we are going with, from the tampa bay lightning, nikita kucherov!”

- I think she was more excited about getting all of quinn’s teammates then either jack and quinn

- during their second/third pick, chloe grins at her older brother, “are you playing d or center, quinny?”

- “we proudly select, no offense to any of the goalies here, but my favorite goaltender of all time, thatcher demko!”

- all the canucks players and jesper give her a hug when they go up

- “team pettersson feat. the hughes siblings needs 10 more minutes, please.”

- “chloe what seems to be the issue over here? are you guys arguing?”

- “yeah it’s like I’m at home. no um, there’s too many good hockey players and all three of these guys up here know I know my hockey stuff so they’re letting me have a say.”

- she loves all of her brothers teammates so she’s so glad she was able to get them drafted to her team

- jesper is one of her favorites from the devils so she’s all giddy when she gets to see him

- she lets petey get brock and then is sad when they have to send him back, “brock this wasn’t my idea okay, I would’ve picked you a lot earlier if I could”

- she gives him heart hands as he skates away

- when they can pick again she pushes the three out of the way, “from the vancouver canucks, i am very proud to select brock boeser!”

- when brock comes back he takes chloe’s mic and looks at quinn, “at least chloe stood up for me”

- the arena is finding the hughes banter funny and the girlies at home are eating her and the players interactions up

- when tate picks elias, chloe looks over at her, “you ruined my plan!”

- “hey he was on my team first!”

- “chloe how are you feeling about your guys’ team”

- “oh we’re in heaven right now. i’ve got my brothers, i’ve got my canucks, and not to mention all of the other great guys on this team. oh yeah, we know who we’re picking! who wants to- petey you do it.”

- jack’s interview is so sweet, “um drafting a team with my brother and my sister is pretty unreal, I mean I was really surprised when not only she said she was going to be here but um then we found out she was gonna be on our team, it was pretty cool. and it was nice to draft with her especially since she’s got that hockey knowledge so yeah. i love her and yeah it was just pretty cool to be there with the two of them”

- he slung an arm around her shoulder and pulled her into his side

- quinns interview was the same, obviously having to mention her as well, “like jack said, it’s pretty cool being up here with, chlo and um it’s not every day that we get to see each other.”

- after that she snuck off to stand with tate as they did their joint interview

- “I noticed you guys are pretty close, we heard you two talking and saw you guys waving to each other”

- tate: “yeah we met- oh I don’t even remember when we met it was so long ago. I think she had come out to record something with me and yeah. she’s one of my best friends and I’m glad I wasn’t the only girl up here tonight”

- chloe: “like tate said, she’s one of my best friends and sorry I’m gonna take a moment to brag about her” she looked over at the other four, specifically frank cuz she knew him, “sorry guys! she’s amazing, her songs and everything. I don’t think I regret going out to see her”

- when frank pulls out the card with her face she almost screams, but controls it a little, “frankie!!”

- they know each other because of trevor so obviously they hug when he makes his way over there

- at the end they talk to her again, “so how do you feel being up here and drafting a team with your brothers?”

- chloe gets so emotional, “it’s really really cool. I love them so much and since they started in the nhl and I started my music I don’t get to see them much so being here is amazing for me. a lot of people don’t know that I’m their sister and know a lot about hockey so it’s nice when we get to show them that. they’re amazing hockey players, lukey too. oh I wish lukey was here, we miss you luke! anyways it’s so great to see how far they’ve come in the past years, I’m really proud of them”

- “how are you feeling about this team?”

- “oh I love my team, are you kidding? with frank here now, I almost feel like I just started a group chat and texted all of them asking if they wanted to come play hockey with me.”

- “what do you love about this team?”

- “I love that it looks scarily similar to my fantasy hockey team… just kidding my fantasy hockey team has pasta, and connor, and bedsy, and oh sorry am I bragging? just kidding I just love the fact that it looks like a winning team. like look at these guys”

- she joins the two for a couple of interviews and then the three of them go out for dinner

- when they are playing, she’s in the bench cheering them on ofc, taking pictures with all of the guys

- she takes a picture of her and frank and sends it to trevor

- she performs at intermission with tate

- they perform exes, greedy, and all-american bitch (no swearing of course)

- trevor watches the game just to see her perform :)

❤ BATFAM - What Halloween Costume Would They Wear?

𝔠𝔬𝔫𝔱𝔢𝔫𝔱: what halloween costume would the batfam members wear? includes bruce, dick, jason, tim, damian, alfred and barb(+a bonus of wally and commissioner gordon) 𝔴𝔞𝔯𝔫𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔰: none. please keep in mind that these are my headcannons, the characters are most likely very ooc.

>: ̗̀➛ bruce bruce would be more casual during the halloween season, hes not a hardcore halloween fan now hes older but he doesnt hate it either. if it werent for his thousands of kids he probably would forget about it all together. as for a costume bruce would not want to wear one, despite having loads of costumes from his playboy days.

it didnt matter what bruce wanted though. his kids and alfred had all collectively decided to force him into one. when he eventually agrees to wear a costume its something simple and easy to get, a vampire or werewolf or something. (he trips over his vampire cape at least 3 times)

>: ̗̀➛ dick LOVES DRESSING UP. he goes all out every single year. he has planned, detailed costumes ready by june. he once repurposed his disco nightwing suit into an elvis presley costume. would have forced all of the batboys to dress up as the spice girls atleast once.

>: ̗̀➛ jason when he was a kid he loved the idea of halloween and dressing up. now that hes been resurrected and is older not so much. even though hes not as passionate about halloween as some of the others, he still dresses up every year because one time tim had said he was acting like bruce for not wanting to dress up. since that day he vowed to always dress up so he wasnt anything like bruce. death would be a kinder punishment then being like bruce in jasons eyes.

as for his costume he would do something he deemed cool. his favourite costumes are walter white, jesse pinkman, quentin tarantino or any of the characters from his current favourite book. an ex-girlfriend once convinced him to dress up as frankenstein and his wife. he was the wife. the whole batfam saw. he never lived it down.

>: ̗̀➛ tim tim likes halloween. he has a map of every house that gives our coffee flavoured sweets. takes damian with him as a 'bonding opportunity'. (he just wants all of the demons good sweets). his costume looks like it took him two seconds to find when in reality it took him at least a month.

his costume is something dumb that regular people dont really understand, but thats okay because he understands. has gone and will go to the halloween gala as a pot of coffee. he just has the costume in his wardrobe for emergencies.

>: ̗̀➛ damian acts like he doesnt care for the holiday but 100% does. at first he didnt understand it since he has never got to experience it while under the league care, why would people willingly give out food? and why would people eat it? what if it was poisoned?

while he doesnt pay much attention to his own costume, he does pay attention to his animals. alfred the cat goes as a cow and bat-cow goes as a cat. no there isnt any relation to the costumes... why would you think that? it gets harder when damian tried to get a costume for goliath, hes very large.

he would never admit this out loud to anyone but he desperately wants to dress as batman. he has a lot of pride and admiration for his father and his heritage, bruce knows that, but he would never be able to in case he was somehow recognised. in the end he goes as ninja. he felt it was fitting.

>: ̗̀➛alfred he would go as lurch from the original adams family movie. he relates to the character and thinks hes a brilliant butler. the kids that are out trick-or-treating love his costume when he opens the door.

>: ̗̀➛ barb + commissioner gordon barbara loves to dress up in matching costumes with her dad and hes happy to oblige. each year they have a new costume planned, its always something cheesy like peanut butter and jelly or bread and butter. barbara takes great joy in going to the waynes halloween gala in the most cheesy costume ever in attempt to embarrass her dad. it never works, hes just happy to see his daughter having fun. (dick has forced her to wear a couples costume multiple times)

>: ̗̀➛ wally halloween is wallys favourite time. so many free sweets and chocolates for him to eat. doesnt matter what it is, how big or small, its all getting eaten. he doesnt care too much about his costume, as long as hes getting free food. dick usually helps him out with his costume, he goes as someone speedy like him. quicksilver, sonic, pietro etc.

Like she knows mikey wanted that famous rare cooking book that got sold out years ago and she comes up to him saying " hey mikey, close your eyes and give me your hands, i swear it's not a prank! " and when she gives him he gets so shocked he almost cry and scream at the same time.

She do the same with her 3 older brothers because she loves going so far to make them happy.

The twins blew out the candles on their cake

Factually, I know that there are a bunch of younger people in the marauders/wolfstar fandom who haven't actually read the books, but the thing I just can't wrap my mind around is: WHY??? And I don't even mean it in the sense of "these kids are ruining the fandom and should read the canon before they start writing fics" (well... at least not entirely). I mean that I utterly don't get it as a choice for them. Like, there is SO MUCH media out there that (a) has way better canon, (b) has canonically queer characters, and (c) wasn't written by a racist TERF. For example, Young Royals. In itself, a really good show. And if these new MWPP fans' fics are anything to go by, it has the exactly the kind of character archetypes, character relationships, and story lines that these folks are actually interested in seeing/reading. There's also Good Omens, OFMD, the (small but great) the Old Guard, etc. The options are abundant these days!

Now, for all I know, a lot of these folks might be in a few of these other better-suited fandoms in addition to MWPP. But why do they bother with MWPP at all? I get that MWPP & Harry Potter in general is a bigger, older fandom with a lot of existing content. But I feel like this newer pack of MWPP fans could really help build up more vibrant communities in the fandoms that genuinely suit them if they just invested their time & energy on that instead of on attempting to shoehorn characters & story arcs that they don't even (canonically) like into a form they enjoy.

I have many thoughts about this, actually! It's an interesting thing to discuss.

(I'm going to start out by saying that if you're a newer/younger fan here and you are reading this post...cool, you do you. I understand that the hyperfixation brain worms sometimes lead you places you didn't expect and you can't extract yourself very easily. But I'm still going to talk about how it 'tis a bit puzzling to me.)

This is not going to be universal at all, but I find personally that the fandoms I'm more active in are the ones where the queer relationships aren't canon, or are only hinted at very very slightly. Like, I wrote 18 fics for Good Omens before the romance was confirmed, and after that I wrote...1. I've written one fic for Maurice and 130 for Sherlock. I think that once the couple I want to get together is actually confirmed in canon, there's nothing left for me to do, you know? No more writing sandbox to play in. Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic that Aziraphale and Crowley kissed and I cannot wait for season 3. I'm just not as compelled to write fic for that fandom now as I am for, say, Temeraire. So I can see people being more drawn to write for MWPP, with so many possibilities to play with and so many characters/couples, as opposed to Young Royals, which was a fun show to watch but I am not compelled to write anything for because the romance already played out on screen! Same with OFMD and Old Guard - LOVED watching them, don't really feel compelled to write for them.

Obviously this is not universal because those fandoms are thriving, but it's just kind of how my brain works.

Also, there must be something about the way that Sirius's and Remus's characters have been watered down/changed entirely for TikTok videos that is compelling to the younger crowd. I don't know, because I don't go there, but I've heard so many younger fans say they started shipping Wolfstar because of what they saw on TikTok.

So...yeah. I am as baffled as you! With the abundance of queer content out there not written by a TERF, it is definitely surprising to see the fandom gain new members. I am only here because Sirius Black grabbed me by the throat when I was 7 years old and hasn't let go since. If I hadn't been seized by the series at a formative age (and before her TERFness was known), I don't know if I would have gotten into it as an adult. But I can't speak for those fans! I can only speculate, like you.

Favorite moment Sosososoooo many it's either him getting super into trolling in 20x02 or when he's cheesing and runs into the boob lady and goes "curse your rocking tits". Or the entire hot tub scene. Or when he smashes the tv playing family guy. Or-

Idea for a story I have so many, but would love anything that explores his youth or him and Sheila's relationship before marriage/having kids

Unpopular opinion Some people are too hard on him and are way more ready to declare him a bad dad instead of making him a fully rounded parent. Also I don't like when people divorce him and Sheila, I love them together. Which leads to...

Favorite relationship Love love love him with Sheila, they're my favorite parent relationship and so 3 dimensional. I also like when he's actually being a good dad to Ike or Kyle. Also also StuartxGerald is way more interesting than RandyxGerald

Favorite headcanon Genuinely have no idea, I like the idea that the reason for him being Skankhunt was because he was high on memberberry wine or something lol

First impression From the movie and the games as first impressions, she sure is a bitch I guess

Impression now She has done literally nothing wrong ever in her entire life and is so hot

Favorite moment The entire movie and the boss fight in TFBW. In show, the UPS man scene (U///U)

Idea for a story Just like with Gerald, would love to see anything showing her youth in Jersey and that transition from wildest bitch ever to overprotective mom

Unpopular opinion I don't like when people make her wildly OOC and abusive/homophobic to Kyle, but I also don't like when people imply she's the better parent compared to Gerald and that she needs to divorce him to be happy. Like, no lol

Favorite relationship Her and Gerald of course, she would find him in any universe. She does need more friendships tho, give her and Sharon more scenes together!

Favorite headcanon Uhh it's not a happy one but I do like the headcanon that she had miscarriages before Kyle, which is why she's so protective over him and why they adopted Ike

First impression First SP thing I saw was a SoT playthrough, was rooting for him and the elves and thought his design was cool

Impression now My fave of the main 4, probably second favorite of all the show, think it's wild he causes so much discourse in the fandom lol

Favorite moment Too many, either the entire "Willzyx" ep where he loves orcas (just like me fr) or him yelling in general

Idea for a story Idk??? More post covid stuff or stuff where he's older in general and has his kids. I want to see him be a dad

Unpopular opinion Not him directly but his fans are either super chill or superrrr insufferable. Especially if they have him as a PFP. Also don't immediately give him bad parents, at least let him be the one main kid with decentish parents lol.

Ahem. So. My take under the cut (it got long lol).

I like the idea of them having no idea they're related, and starting out getting to know each other, and getting closer. Terzo encourages Copia to be more confident in himself, Copia allows Terzo to be more than just a Casanova type of guy when he's with him. They both see sides to each other that they don't show to everyone else, and they encourage each other to grow and change a bit as people.

But they keep their growing relationship a secret. Because a Cardinal and a Papa, together?? Someone would complain. Probably Nihil. So, Terzo and Copia keep it low-key and hidden from everyone else (except the other brothers. Primo and Secondo definitely figured out, and they may not get what Terzo sees in Copia, but he makes their little brother happy so whatever 🤷🏻‍♂️).

Their relationship crumbles when Terzo is dragged off stage and demoted, and it probably starts a self-hating spiral in Terzo which leads him to break up with Copia. Like, he's clearly not good enough to be Papa, so why would he be good enough for Copia (or anyone, for that matter)? It's a painful and bitter breakup, and they're both hurting. Copia probably makes a few attempts to convince Terzo to get back together, but that self-hate is just too strong.

And what makes it worse? While Terzo can confide in his 2 older brothers...Copia doesn't have anyone to talk to about this. It was a secret, after all. So, eventually, he becomes angry and bitter due to the pain and the unfair way Terzo is treating their (now defunct) relationship...and he comes to hate Terzo just as much as he loves him. He plays into this hate both as a coping mechanism, and to ensure nobody knows about that he and Terzo were involved. Everyone just thinks it's a rivalry, that Copia is playing it up to be cool and prove himself as the new frontman of Ghost. (See: that video of him playing one of Terzo's albums and trash talking him).

Then Terzo and the other brothers get assassinated, and it's Copia's time to shine. Of course, he's hurt by Terzo's death, but he pushes that pain aside and focuses on proving himself. That door (his relationship with Terzo) has been permanently closed, but a new one (being promoted) has opened. He puts Terzo in the past, and focuses on his own future. (Or tries to. Terzo's corpse being put on display probably not only breaks his heart, but also reminds him that he himself might be expendable too...).

Then, Copia becomes Papa. He's where Terzo was...but lasts longer. Makes the band (and its Satanic message) an even bigger deal. Maybe he's getting over Terzo, that pain now replaced with pride in himself and love from the fans. He feels more confident, he feels less out-of-place, he feels like he's finally where he's supposed to be. He's totally over Terzo now.

Except...maybe he's just lying to himself. Maybe he wishes Terzo was still here, to be proud of him. To share this joy with. Maybe. But Copia won't admit it.

Maybe he would if Terzo was resurrected. Maybe, after a lot of pain and tears and yelling and healing, they'd rekindle their relationship. Or at least try to. Maybe they'd find a way back to each other. And maybe Copia would reveal something that he's since figured out: that they have the same father.

Copia probably wouldn't care. He found such love with Terzo (twice!!) that he refuses to let something like being half-brothers stop him from loving that man. Terzo might need some time to process this, and Copia's worried and regrets telling him...but Terzo decides that he doesn't care, either. Maybe he even admits that he always felt connected to Copia (even before their relationship), in a way he couldn't explain...and now he knows why. They're brothers, so they were always destined to be part of each other's lives. But they chose to love each other in a different way, to actively create a relationship with each other.

Brothers by chance, but lovers by choice 💜💙

I think someone mentioned mixing WN with D&D on Twitter a while back and I hope that, if so, "D&D" was being used as a synonym for RPG rather than actual D&D 5e (which you shouldn't really do because they aren't synonymous, but I know it's a common thing).

Adapting Warrior Nun into 5e rules seems a bit like fighting the system rather than working with it, at least to me.

Here is a game that depends on character classes -- how will you make it work when all characters will probably share the class of sister warrior? If the idea is to differentiate them through skills, then isn't it better to just ditch the concept of class altogether? Maybe take inspiration from something like Knave, Maze Rats, Cairn if one wishes to stick with a D&D-ish aura.

Fights in WN aren't all that long if you think about it; so how will you conciliate that with the HP sponges that 5e characters are? (An anecdote: the other day I saw someone complaining about their weak initial character, who had some 20 HP. Playing old school D&D, I've had players start with 4. Ask them if they weren't scared shitless of dying -- and if this fear didn't make them play smarter and end up valuing their PCs much more when they levelled up!)

The economy system of 5e (well, of D&D as a whole, really, including older editions) has very little in common with the one our favourite ass-kicking nuns would use -- would it even be necessary, if we assume the Vatican is responsible for providing them with gear?

I'm not asking any of these questions simply because I dislike 5e (which I do, I admit) or to dissuade people from mixing WN and RPGs (I even did it myself once and might or might not be doing it again with another play style and basic system in mind), I just ask that they take mechanics into consideration. 5e can be good for what it's made for (or so I'm told), but in this particular instance it seems inappropriate for WN.

If I may be so bold as to offer amateur designers some suggestions...

I'd start by taking a look at Nathan Paoletta's RPG Design Zine, just because it helps you think about what the hell you're doing.

Generic systems are just that, generic, but they can be much easier to adapt than something so heavily-coded for a certain type of game as 5e is. They can be more complicated (maybe GURPS, though you could go for Lite and consider getting, idk, Religion, Martial Arts, Low Tech, High Tech... Go explore) or lighter. I am a gigantic fan of Freeform Universal Classic, but you could do something cool with FATE or FAE, Mini Six, hell, I don't know! There's a good deal of generic systems out there.

You could be a little more daring, if versed in PbtA games, and hack one up yourself, why not?

All I'm saying is that you shouldn't be wrestling with the system to make this thing. Have it work for you, not against you; find something that can "translate" the show more easily than 5e does.

There's a whole world of games out there, a wealth of inspiration to work with. A lot of creators stick to 5e because it's popular and it helps them get visibility for their products -- and I don't fault them for it, but you aren't going to sell this, are you? You're not the IP owner. Others use 5e because "everybody knows the rules" -- which isn't true and, honestly, if you're going to change the whole thing up so it matches WN, then what's the use of knowing how rangers in a high fantasy campaign progress if you're playing nuns with guns?

I guess my point is: just don't tire yourself out trying to make an apple pie out of ingredients meant for chocolate cake.

My Favorite Disgaea Characters (and why they're so awesome!)

((Taking a small break from the Disgaea 7 DLC Episodes to talk about this. Now that I finished Disgaea 7's main story, I feel like it's time to get into who are my actual favorite characters in the franchise. Unlike when I talked about my least favorite when I only covered one per game, here I'll go over multiple characters across multiple titles, but still in no particular ranking order.

Let's start off with who everyone already knows would be featured on this list, Adell. I've always been a fan of this guy ever since the original Disgaea 2 and seeing him in other titles practically a guaranteed way to put a smile on my face (as well as my money taken away). One of the things that really won me over is his awesome moveset across the games, especially the ever evolving vulcan blaze (although it's not quite as awesome in D6 and D7 right now). Combine that with his evilities and you got one of the most broken playable characters in the titles. In terms of personality, he's one of the more serious characters in a franchise known for its chaos, which is interesting since he's meant as NIS parody take on a Shonen Protagonist, though granted even he has his moments. Always does his best to keep his promise no matter the cost and does whatever he can to help provide for his family, in my eyes Adell is number 1.

Next up is the main character of Disgaea 5, Killia. NIS literally designed Killia to be Adell's polar opposite in terms of both personality and element. So instead of a passionate, hot blooded individual, we have someone who's more calm, cool, and collected, representing his ice element... unless if we're talking about cooking. Like Adell, he's one of the more serious characters in this series, and he's often self conscious about it, often questioning on what he could do to stand out more, which I find hilarious. But I think what really won me over though is the fact that despite his backstory, he doesn't come across as too edgy for my liking. He's more like a cool older brother that's willing to help out if he needs to, but at the same time will put his foot down when he notices shenanigans.

The fact that it took until Disgaea RPG to come out to finally get Demon Lord Hanako again is criminal in my opinion. Regular Hanako is alright, but the Demon Lord version of her from the future is no joke. We're talking about someone powerful enough to take on both Gig and Pram at the same time with help from other fighters like Ash, Almaz, Sapphire, and Dark Eclair! I need to know what Etna did to her to make her this broken in 10 years!

Speaking of Sapphire Rhodonite, she is without a doubt one of my favorite princesses in all of gaming. Don't get me wrong, so far I haven't met anyone that topped Sonia Blanche from Shining Resonance yet, but Sapphire is up there. This lady is a powerhouse that got so sick of watching everyone die for her that she trained herself to become a killing machine to protect her kingdom. Out of all the soldiers in her kingdom, she ended up having a crush on a regular guardsman because he was the only one who still saw some humanity in her after her mother died. She wasted no time and married said guardsman at the end of the game! Willingly goes after overlords herself just to make sure they don't get the chance to kidnap her later down the line! She a keeper!

Might as well jump straight to Disgaea 7 to talk about another powerhouse baddie being Higan! When she first appeared in the game, she gave the game's Void Dark look alike 1000 years of death before taking off with his infernal treasure, which is a spear. Keep in mind, she's primarily a swordmaster that taught Fuji almost everything she knew and started using spears just because she was bored. Infernal Treasures pick their wielders and she just got accepted right off the bat. She eats so many sweets every day, she basically puts Stocking Anarchy on fraud alert. She's this game's definition of tough love, as while she's aggressive and extreme when it comes to fighting and training, she's also looking out for the best for her peers. Plus that scene where she wins back cash for the party is hilarious and makes me wonder how fast she would clear Sae's Palace if she was in Persona 5.

Mr Champloo has always been my absolute favorite character in Disgaea 3. When it comes to characters that turn cooking into a way of life, before there was Killia, we had this guy. Once again, the fact that Champloo and Killia never had a cooking battle to this day is beyond criminal! Come ON NIS! You give us a cooking battle between Fenrich and Pirilika and not this absolute gold mine waiting to happen?! I do love his relationship with Almaz in 3 as the reason Almaz calls him master is because he's helping Almaz on his path to become a better person in his own way. He's not teaching Almaz how to cook, but he's using cooking metaphors to get his point across.

Yukimaru's another character I really want to see more of in later titles. Yeah, I know she and Fubuki got a cameo in 7, but that ain't enough! Fun fact, Yukimaru in her Kimono outfit during the Sardine Festival event was the reason why I started playing Disgaea RPG in the first place. I just love how sweet and polite she is, a trained ninja given a mission to kill an overlord but doesn't like fighting unless she has to. Yet her Xeno version is Xeno Flonne's right hand girl and her top assassin! It would be cool to have Yukimaru go around acting like a bodyguard to Adell and Rozalin considering she swore her blade to them.

Out of the original Disgaea Trio, Flonne has to be my personal favorite. She doesn't let rumors that she hears in Celestia cloud her judgement when it comes to meeting new people. She goes out of her way to learn about them and experience their culture herself. Even in areas where she thinks she's the expert at like love, she's still learning as evident when Laharl's mother explained why she doesn't hug and say goodbye to him before she reincarnates into her new life, or when Don Joaquin told her that his spirit can move on despite losing to Laharl because he didn't hold back in their battle. Her overworking Artina as an archangel does need to be stopped though. Honestly, part of me wished NIS went with the idea of keeping Flonne in the Netherworld and have her work as a teacher to young demons instead of her becoming an angel again.

Pirilika is adorable in every sense of the word, I swear. She's basically the Disgaea 7 version of flonne considering that she's a massive otaku and her willingness to see the good everyone around her. It's also thanks to her that we know what happens when you spoil your prinnies. You basically de-combat them where they have to take on secretary like roles in order to atone for their sins and potentially make them targets of envious prinnies. Valvatorez would not approve. That being said, I don't think I've ever seen or heard about a CEO this innocent. She doesn't splurge her money to everyone as bad as Misedor (though she's definitely up there), she does go out of her way to make sure everyone is taken care of and treats everyone to her own cooking. I'd work for her in a heartbeat.

And sticking with Disgaea 7 is Ceefore. Yeah, all 3 of the leading ladies in this game were hits for me. At first, she reminded me of Yuffie from Final Fantasy 7, considering that she started off helping out the main party, only to ditch them later on because she was helping out her home. At the end of the day, she's just an eccentric otaku who wants to make some friends after spending most of her life isolated in Celestia since she can see spirits that others can't. I'm convinced that her giving masks that turns everyone into prinnies was a reference to Shido's palace in Persona 5, but I could be wrong. She is a phantom thief after all. Her ultimate skill is more busted than Pleinair's because it has infinite range! Any stage with a boss will be cleared in seconds the moment she activates it. Kinda wish they gave her a persona to really bring it home.

Where Kakashi dies peacefully after being Hokage for so long and left the reins to Naruto only to reincarnate in a world without chakra. He becomes an heir to a powerful yakuza household and Kakashi becomes famous in the underground world due to his prodigious talents in both martial arts and his studies. He is the original holder of the title, "White Ghost" due to his iconic white hair like Konoha's "White Fang". He is also famous as a "Copy Master" even though he doesn't have the sharingan anymore. Since it's just martial arts and not jutsu. His talent had been brought over to his new life. Kakashi also met Gun during his middle school days, (He is a few years older than Gun maybe 4-6 years). The first time they met Gun idolize him after seeing his strength. However, Kakashi grew tired of this lifestyle and left Japan without telling anyone his whereabouts only to reappear at Korea as a teacher at J-High (this is where Gun inherits hus title as white ghost). He is the only one that can rein in his troublesome students. Kakashi still has the same personality and a habit of showing up late and reading porn (especially in a middle of a fight just to troll the villains), he's strong and almost a match for anyone in the lookism verse since he's been fighting all his life and his new life is just a walk in the park for him. Gun will be surprised to meet him again having mix feelings between angry and happy (because he left without saying anything). Goo will also pester him to become his secret friend. He still wears a mask making his students want to see his face.I have thought about this a long time, imagining the reason why Gun is so strong is because he had someone to look up to and why he knows the copying skill and who better to fill that position than Copy Ninja Kakashi. Kakashi and Gun has a senpai and kohai relationship and he even taught him a few tricks (his taijutsu skills and weapon skills) but Kakashi had to leave and that's why Gun wants to find him. Daniel and Johan had been recognized by Gun because of their "copy skill" but it can't outmatched Kakashi. Kakashi is very much protective of his students just like his past and will go through great lengths to protect them (they need at least 1 adult figure or teacher that cares for them in that verse) and will go feral if someone harms them (Like the white tiger job central going after Eli and Hostel but came just in time to save them or when UI Daniel goes out of control and he knocks him back to his senses) since he is famous for his other titles and being the original owner of the moniker "White Ghost" he is quite feared but doesn't show this side often since he is usually relax and loves to tease people especially his students. I also like to see Zack, Daniel or everyone trying to unmask him only to fail since Kakashi is such a trickster.

Oh my goodness I'm so sorry I only really do xreaders! It's a super cool plot line and the amount of details is amazing, however again I only do xreaders. So sorry😞

because personally for me, i was literally born after nsync technically died, i was more used to it just being justin and that nsync was more of a fun fact on his behalf lmao. i only knew bye bye bye, it's gonna be me and merry christmas, happy holidays and probably pop because of jimmy neutron but that was it

it wasn't until the beginning of this year that my sisters and i started watching boyband music videos on youtube because when my one older sister was younger, radio disney i guess played pop and she hated that song when she was younger, so when she saw the music video we watched it,,,and kept on watching it the next couple of weeks and then their other music videos and at first, like i am with a lot of things i realize i might start getting interested in, i was in denial being like "oh i am NOT catching myself getting into some dead 1990s/2000s boyband with fucking justin timberlake in it like nuh uh" but then oh no!!! i realize i started watching their performances by myself and by spring/summer i already am familiar with all their names and searching for "nsync as vines" videos that i know i am already too deep in

and also on the last day of school back in june, to celebrate i guess, my sisters ordered pizza for us since our mom was out of the house and we watched the lou boyband con documentary and soon we want to watch the lance and joey movie together lol

ok sorry for explaining my nsync interest origin story i just felt like it hahah. i just have a lot of thoughts on nsync in general that i can make a whole ass video essay series about them but that's a later idea to execute

personally with me on any fandoms i usually am more shy i guess lol. i am just scared to interact with others in general because i am a socially anxious guy idk dsfjlkdslkf, that's why i follow like 84 blogs dfsljdsfkdsf and from what i seen a lot of the nsync fandom are people in their 30s which is fine! that's cool considering they did grow up in that era to experience the boyband phenomena like glad they are still enjoying something they liked 20+ years ago unlike me who never grew up with that and yeah boybands like one direction and big time rush existed, but a boyband craze like nsync i never was there to experience hahaha

considering the one direction fandom still seems to be going strong in some sense, i am not surprised nsync has been as well (at least on other platforms but i don't fuck with instagram/tiktok fandoms). but anyways personally for me i feel awkward for the most part being in the nsync fandom, the fans i have met are generally very nice (like you!) but i still feel a bit odd for not being a millennial who grew up with them but instead a chronically online gen z teen who found them really because my older sister in the late '00s hated a song of theirs lol

but anyways once again i am saur sorry for that long ass answer i just have a lot of thoughts about this stupid ass band, but once again feel free to stay! you're welcomed here :D thank you so much!

also another unnecessary thought but i kind of lowkey feel well not weird but interesting that nsync are technically around my parents' ages (at least more so around chris, jc, and joey's considering chris is only a couple months older than my mom) and it's like "huh these guys could technically be my parents...and i am just giggling and kicking my feet watching these fucking losers dance for my entertainment"

Everyone is on fire about Tara and that's deserved!!! The hate I see the most comes from the self-insert/fic crowd. And the arguments are how they would have been better old ladies and handled Gemma and "fixed" Jax. LMAO. Lol even. It's petty jealousy.

I think she was set up, as so many love interests are in crime shows (skyler from breaking bad), to be hated because while the viewer loves the aggression and the world building Tara pointed out how insane and dangerous it all was. Jax isn't so hot and cool anymore once the club and Gemma aren't praising him. Once Tara actually shines a light on how self absorbed and pointless the whole outlaw setup is. Selling guns and later drugs isn't a "mission", it's not being an outlaw. It's just crime for money without any redeeming qualities. As was the clubs behavior towards women and their own children, while yelling "family and brotherhood above all else".

Anyway. Tara was right. And I am very sorry she had to die for Jax to finally realize it. She really wanted the best for him and saw him as a good man.

I’ve only ever read one SOA fanfic that was written in 2013 which is more like a love letter to Tara and her & Jax’s teenage years than anything else (its rlly good. It’s called Beginnings if you’re interested in reading) so I have absolutely no idea what the SOA fic crowd is like lol.

You’re right about this too. Tara was set up but I’m connecting this one to misogyny too. If reasonable female characters weren’t notoriously hated - no matter which relatively older show we’re talking about - we wouldn’t be thinking that they were set up. Hope this makes sense. I get the attachment to the world-building because the setting and the world of the story is the first thing that a consumer sees. In the case of Sons of Anarchy though, it was clear from the very first episode that the current club life wasn’t a right way to live. That was the whole point of Jax finding John’s manuscript; that was what got Jax determined to get the club out of the gun running business right? But i guess the attachment to the world made everyone ignore the whole point of the show and ultimately hate Tara because she never let anyone forget that.

That’s one of the reasons why I don’t want a spin-off/sequel with Abel and Thomas (something that many fans want sm). Tara and Jax didn’t sacrifice everything - including their lives - for their sons’ well-being only for them to get back to SAMCRO. It would mean that all of their sacrifices were for nothing!

Good point on the club’s behavior towards women and their families. The way they are with women is absolutely horrible which makes no sense because all of them would go to war for their significant others but then treat them with sm disrespect at home? I guess that comes down to their ego and toxic masculinity.

Tig, Chibs, Opie, Bobby ALL OF THEM had children yet they never cared lmao. All Chibs could talk about during the entirety of s3 was ‘his girls’ yet he never mentioned either Fiona or Kerrianne in later seasons. As much as Tig loved his kids, his way of life got Dawn killed and he was so extremely devastated!! I can’t believe that after Dawn’s death he never for even a split second questioned his choices regarding his life and the club.

I also hated that Opie’s children gradually started disappearing. i feel like not giving him any storylines with his kids in later seasons dehumanized him in a way. But i’ll never be sure if it was intended that way or not.

All of this collectively comes down to inconsistent writing. To me at least. I don’t know why screenwriters are always adamant on leaving so many loose ends and not digging a bit deeper into stuff like this.

And to answer your last point. Obviously Tara was right and I’m sorry that it took me watching this show twice to realize it but in my defense, I was 15, stupid and didn’t speak good enough English :’)

Dabi, Gojo & Eren: Fuckboys or not?

In this modern age and time of anime and manga, the world of the internet is blessed by the presence of several different attractive 2D anime men. And arguably the most favorite ones among the fans are Dabi aka Touya Todoroki (My Hero Academia), Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen), and Eren Jeager (Attack On Titan). Everyone just wants a piece of them. But the real question is, who would these men date and how? While we all know that Dabi and Gojo aren’t dating anyone canonically so far because Kohei Horikoshi and Gege Akutami just aren’t about all that jazz, Eren on the other hand did show romantic interest towards Mikasa Ackerman, but that relationship had to meet its tragic ending very soon than expected. Also, there are barely any romantic threads explored through the chapters of MHA and JJK manga so far for both Dabi and Gojo. Perhaps because of it, the show's viewers and the manga readers have been obsessively trying to find any pair of people (or curses) to ship together in various permutation combinations.

This isn’t something new or unique to MHA, JJK, and AOT as I must say - "Writers gonna write, fandoms gonna ship."

I'm well aware that the fandoms of MHA, JJK, and AOT have always portrayed Dabi, Satoru Gojo, and Eren Jeager as fuckboys, but are they really that? That's why I'm on an important quest here to determine once and for all if Dabi, Gojo, and Eren are fuckboy or not. Let’s dive right in. Since this is going to be an in-depth analysis, I did some research on what makes a fuckboy. According to this article, there are some traits that all fuckboys have in common. We’re gonna explore some of them and see if they apply to these mentioned hunky men.

First, let's point out the traits of a fuckboy -

He's a smooth operator

Yet knows how to play it cool

He promises a lot

He's always busy as hell

He has the tendency to lie

He's always online

His social media is full of women

He SAYS he's not a fuckboy

The relationship is pretty sexual

It's always a little one dimensional

Now it's impossible to go through each and every given point mentioned above, but I'll try to cover at least half of them.

He's a smooth operator -

This describes a charismatic, funny, charming, smooth man. They can talk you up and their way out of any situation because they seem to know all of the right words.

Dabi may not be a smooth operator, cause we've never seen him being funny or charismatic anytime in the series. Sure he's smart, calm, and collected (even manipulative) which is shown from time to time whenever he's appeared in the scenes, but we've never seen him butter up someone or talk his way out of any situation whatsoever.

Besides, Dabi isn't someone who would do such a thing anyway, to begin with (because he's too emo and edgy for that). So I'm giving him a hard NO.

The same goes for Eren as well. Sure younger Eren was hardheaded, strong-willed, passionate, impulsive, reckless, selfless, and charismatic, older Eren on the other hand isn't like that at all. Older Eren has an unnervingly stoic and calm demeanor, never losing his composure and usually wearing a blank expression on his face, no matter how dire or stressful the situation may be. Sure we saw him once using Falco to meet up with Reiner back at Marley, but he didn't use his charisma to trick Falco. Instead, he used his tactic and manipulation to deceive the young boy and convinced him to bring Reiner to him.

So for this Eren also gets a hard NO.

Gojo on the other hand is very comfortable joking around with literally everyone he interacts with, friend or enemy. Moreover, he is very witty and charismatic in all these interactions.

All evidence would point to Gojo being a smooth talker, except this doesn’t seem to work on most people in JJK. While Gojo has a fair share of admirers within the story, most people are either annoyed or neutral to his charms. We’re gonna give him a MAYBE on this criteria.

Can play it cool -

If I’ve understood this one correctly, then this is a person who won’t show excitement for things. They might not text you back immediately or might act nonchalantly and unbothered.

First of all, Gojo is anything but nonchalant and unbothered and you all know the reason why -

For this Gojo gets a hard NO.

For Dabi, I must say he fits in this category quite well, but that was prior to the Touya-revelation chapter. Because as soon as he revealed his true identity and abusive childhood to the whole world, he wasn't Dabi anymore. He's reverted back to his old self: Touya Todoroki. Dabi may act nonchalantly and unbothered, but Touya doesn't. While little Touya was very energetic and boisterous back in the days, older Touya on the other hand is highly enigmatic and pragmatic. He takes pleasure in taunting heroic figures, students, and Pro Heroes alike, sadistically enjoying the pain he inflicts on others, including those he murders. He loves to engage in psychological warfare in order to unnerve whoever his opposition is and is rather savvy about how heroes operate and will exploit their natural tendency to rescue others. He is not afraid of causing collateral destruction, rarely holding back, even if it puts his allies at risk. Touya is intolerant of most people and can be very derisive most of the time, being quite rude and condescending to essentially everybody he interacts with. He insulted Shigaraki immediately after meeting him and constantly does the same to both his allies and enemies but doesn't always do it with the intention to be rude. Though older Touya is sadistic and sociopathic, he can also be apologetic, remorseful, and sympathetic at times needed. And most importantly, after revealing his true identity, Touya's NOT at all chilled -

For this Dabi gets a soft NO.

And if we're talking about older Eren here, then yes, older Eren is really chilled whatever the situation is. For those who have seen season 4 of AOT, I don't think I need to go any further about older Eren here. So for the criteria, Eren gets a hard YES.

He makes a lot of promises -

This criterion describes someone who makes a lot of promises but never fulfills them.

Let's talk about Dabi here. The reason why he's so traumatized and is now considered the most 'tragic' character in the series is all because of his father, Endeavor aka Enji Todoroki. Enji threw him into an illusion of becoming a great hero (even greater than All Might) and promised to support him to the end at a very young age. Touya clung to those fickle hopes, dreams, and promises even after his father later rejected him and tossed him to the side.

Even though his father abused him mentally and emotionally from time to time, Touya still kept on loving his father to the point it became a borderline unhealthy obsession. And not only that, when he finally started to resent his father after waking up from comatose and promised himself to destroy the pride and status that Endeavor took years to build, he kept that promise to that very end. He waited 8 whole years to destroy Endeavor which also indicated that Touya is a very patient man. For someone who was deceived over and over again by his loved one, whose promises were broken by the same loved one, I don't think Dabi/Touya would be someone to make any sort of promises to his s/o. Rather he's someone who believes in the quote "action speaks louder than words". So he's getting a big hard NO on this one.

Now let's talk about Gojo. episode 3 of JJK, Gojo promised his students a tour of Tokyo but took them to a haunted site full of curses instead. So I can imagine Gojo making a lot of fickle promises and ending up doing what he wants to instead.

However, by the end of that episode, Gojo did take his students out for a ride and dinner.

He might get playful and seem conceited at times but Gojo always comes through. There are very few things that Gojo takes seriously, and keeping promises is one of them. Gojo gets a hard NO for this one as well.

And now let's talk about Eren here. Both younger Eren and older Eren are passionate individuals and are someone who cares about their loved ones to death. I mean the man promised to give a better world to his friends and ended up committing genocide (killing 80% of humanity or four-fifth of the society). This man knows how to keep his promises. So he's also getting a hard NO on this one too.

He's always busy -

From time to time, Dabi's shown to be busy in the series, like going around the city and doing his own thing (burning people alive that is) but he's not too busy to lend a helping hand to Shigaraki and the League whenever necessary.

So, he's getting a soft NO on this one.

Gojo on the other hand has a habit of often passing on his missions to his students. In episode 2 of JJK, Megumi is left alone to fight with Sukuna and gets badly injured. Gojo arrives at the scene and it is revealed he was sightseeing and buying souvenirs while people’s lives were in mortal danger.

Surely, Gojo isn’t around a lot of times when he is needed. However, he does hold an important position in the Jujutsu Sorcerers’ world. Additionally, he has a lot of faith in his student. What I am trying to get at here is that while Gojo may not be there all the time, he usually has a good reason for it. Although he does seem the type to ditch his significant other in the middle of a date because he got distracted by an ice-cream truck or a baked potato stand. So, we’re gonna give him a soft YES to this one.

Have we ever seen Eren being really busy with something and not being able to give quality time to his loved ones? Not really (at least from what I've seen so far). And due to the lack of evidence, I'm gonna give him a NO on this one again.

You never fully know them -

Relationships, or in most cases, Situation-ships with fuckboys in real life can be pretty one-dimensional. You never fully get to have deeper connections with them because you never get to know them.

Dabi, yes at first was mysterious, I mean really mysterious, but he also had a solid reason to be like that - to destroy Endeavor's life and career. But after that whole revelation happened, Dabi didn't hesitate to keep anything secret at all. He revealed and exposed everything that's related to him (including his traumatic past, his abusive father, etc.) to the whole world back in the war at Jaku City and later in the 2nd war when Shoto asked him why he didn't come back home after surviving the forest fire, Dabi again didn't hesitate to tell the backstory of his rescue and survival.

Dabi may not open up to his s/o at first, but he will at some point in time. Slowly but surely. It's just a matter of time and place until he'll vomit out everything. So he's again getting a soft NO on this one.

Seeing Gojo with this lens makes a certain degree of sense. Even people who spend a majority of their time with him can not seem to figure him out. However, in Gojo’s case, this is less a matter of his shallowness and more a matter of, there is no one in the JJK Universe who can stand beside Satoru Gojo. Even people like Nanami who openly say they don’t respect Gojo, still hold him in high regard and rely on him. In conclusion, while we may never fully understand Gojo, he gets a soft NO in this.

Do we really need to say anything about this when it comes to Eren?

This man hid all of his plans, his emotions, his almost everything within himself in order to carry out and execute the genocide without any hindrance. For sure, Eren gets a hard YES on this one, no doubt about it.

Arrogance and self-obsession -

I personally have other criteria for fuckboys and that is arrogance and self-obsession. We all know that canonically Dabi and Eren aren't arrogant or self-obsessed and they're not someone to show off how awesome and cool they are. Maybe younger Eren and younger Touya would like to have shown off their powers and abilities to others around them, but their older selves won't. So they're getting a HARD NO on this one for sure.

Gojo on the other hand actually fits perfectly for this. He has a degree of self-assured arrogance and this mostly annoys older or mature people in the JJK series namely, Megumi, Nobara, Maki, Panda, Inumaki, Nanami, Utahime, Yaga, Gakuganji, etc (while others like Geto and Shoko don't give a shit about it). However, naive people like Miwa, Yuji, or even Yuta find him quite interesting and charming. Gojo never misses a chance to show off how cool and awesome he can be. Additionally, he never shies away from praising himself when no one else will.

Having said that, is it really narcissism if it’s all true? Sure, Gojo smugly says he is the strongest on multiple occasions, but that is objectively 100% the truth in the JJK universe.

Conclusion -

Now that we’ve gone over almost all the factors that form a fuckboy, we’re ready to arrive at a conclusion. Based on their behaviors around their seniors, peers, juniors, enemies, friends, family, students, or whatnot, we can somewhat conclude that these three men might have the aesthetics of a fuckboy, but they are not.

Well, at least Dabi and Eren are NOT fuckboys for sure, Gojo on the other hand, it's kinda complicated. And the biggest piece of evidence of Gojo being a potential fuckboy comes from Gege Akutami himself. As Gege said in one of his past interviews, he can not imagine Gojo being faithful to a woman. However, since Gege doesn’t plan on giving Gojo (or any main character) a romantic angle in the story, we’ll never truly know.

Gojo is a lot of things, fickle, conceited, self-centered, arrogant, and so on. However, all aspects of his personality are completely genuine. He is someone who is capable of deeply caring about people and goes to great lengths to protect them and he brings people souvenirs every time he visits places.

This charming man-child might be a 6’3” walking red flag but based on all the highly scientific research and my personal feelings, Gojo is also NOT a fuckboy.

Dabi, on the other hand, might be the greatest, the coldest, and the emo-est, edgelord ever lived in Musutafu City, but deep down he still cares to some extent, feels remorseful for his wrongdoings, and even feels sympathetic and apologetic for certain people around him (for example, while he had no problem killing the Pro Hero Snatch, the latter's words appear to have resonated with him, implying that Dabi has sympathy for those that have lost family due to villains, as well as the loved ones of those who he has killed. This does not extend to his own family though, as Dabi has frequently contemplated their deaths for the sake of revenge).

It's just that his hatred and resentment towards his own father (also his whole family) are stopping him from becoming a soft boi.

Whichever version of Eren Jeager you choose, at the end of the day, he's just someone who loves and deeply cares about his loved and dear ones.

Don’t get me wrong, all three of them are still very frustrating men to have a romantic relationship with, but they are still lovable in their own ways and also loved by the fandom themselves.

Hey !! Can I request somthn with Giran, Twice, Compress, Kurogiri, Skeptic, Spinner, and Shigiraki where Dabi figures out that reader, his little sibling(19-23), is dating on oof these members! How would he be that much more overprotective? And would he react differently cuz of their age (most of which being older than them)?

(Sure thing! This feels a bit like an imagine since I can't think of many ways he'd feel too different about it depending on the person. Let me cook something up. BTW forgive me since I'm rusty when it comes to writing for the man!!!)

(Oh and reader is either born into the family or adopted so everyone can insert themselves!)

I imagine no matter who his sibling dates he feels protective. You weren't like the others in the family that set him aside so long ago. You were different. It always seemed like you and him were your own little family without the others. You followed him no matter where he went, even if he walked into hell. So when he left you did too. It wasn't like either of you would be missed. Not with the way things were going. For a long time it was just the two of you. You'd both eventually found your way into the League together as well. He made sure to stick by you pretty closely since he always saw you as weaker than him. If he had a choice he would've never let you follow him into the League like this. He wanted you to move out of that damned house and live a carefree life. He wanted to be the only one to take on the burden of revenge against the people that wronged him most. His words came out as "Do what you want". Of course you were hardheaded and followed just that. When it came to dating he wasn't particularly a fan of anyone in the immediate group. He'd prefer if you found a man/woman/person somewhere out in society that was nice and caring. Someone that maybe could pay your bills and you could start your only family with them.

If you were to date Giran he'd immediately put his foot down. He's not angry but you could tell he's annoyed. He's likely going to hit you with a speech eventually. He stays level-headed and cranes his head over to stare at you with lidded eyes. "Can't you choose anyone but the dodgy old bastard? C'mon Y/N, do better." Translation for 'he's not good enough and I don't approve nor do I trust him'. If you were to date Twice then I think he'd be a little more relaxed but still somewhat on edge. I feel like he goes behind your back and tries to scare Bubaigawara off. It never works though. You probably find out and this causes one of you famous sibling arguments. You'll both get over it later though. Dating Compress is okay but he's going to give you another speech. He trusts compress but not enough. There's something secretive about the man that Dabi can't put his finger on. Kurogiri is probably one of the only people that Dabi is fine with you dating. It doesn't appear to him that Kurogiri would try anything on you at all. He's cool with it but he also teases you a lot about dating a little mist covered body. You'll never hear the end of it lol. Skeptic as a partner is a 'hell no' in Dabi's book. The man is too aggressive to most people when he get's upset. His harsh words are one step away from him hurting your feelings and Dabi roasting him...literally. Spinner is the only other one he fully trusts besides Kurogiri. He watches Shuichi being sappy with you on a day to day basis. Spinner also swears to protect you and I think Dabi thinks to himself "Hell, if it was going to be a villain at least it's the lizard." But be prepared for him to tease you about Spinner too. If you date Shigaraki it's going to cause a bit of a strain between Dabi and his boss. He's listens (or tolerates) Tomura to a degree but he's got his own goals in line really. He's going to make sure to keep an eye on Tomura since he doesn't fully trust him nor his quirk as well. He doesn't want to run the risk of you accidentally getting decayed because that would cause an all out war between the two.

Trupan related: actually, except for TruTen, every ship with the kids (Next Gen?) it's kinda... Weird.

Like, Trunks it's the oldest and Bra it's the youngest, right (haha, Bulma opened the cycle and closed it, queen)? But theres more than that, Marron it's the third child and she already it's 5 years younger than Trunks, then there is Uub who is 3 years younger than her, and the two little girls that are I think 5 and 6 years younger? There are 14 years between them. But you probably knew all this crap so yeah, I just like to write a lot.

Some opinions:

* Truten and maybe the ships with Uub (because he didn't grew up with the others) are the only not-akward ships (i'm not taking MaiTen cuz it is also weird because she is an adult even if she have the body of a kid).

*The friendships are also weird, but in a different sense, i mean... At that age it's weird to be friends with someone 5 years younger, that's why I think (yeah, headcanon time) that a friendship between Trunks and Marron would be pretty superficial, like in a "oh, i know her/him, she/he is the kid of... And I think she/he is cool" way.

*The fandom really likes to make Marron, Pan and Bra besties and it's like??? Marron could be their nanny, maybe a cool older sister? But cheez, the girl it's better than having two girls that are like 10 years younger than her as her two only friends. Also, even if I also think that she would have her own, normal friends as her priority (like, in the friends department??? I don't know how to say it, me don't hablo ingles) Goten would be her bestie between the kids, maybe Trunks too if there is a good weather.

*I wonder if Toriyama knows all of this age crap, like, maybe he sometimes it's doing his own thing and then "oh no, the kids are pretty isolated in terms of age"? Idk

Well bear in mind, outside of Krillin, no one in Goku's immediate circle of friends was his age. Bulma and Yamcha were both about 4 years his senior, Tien 5. Sure, he knew Upa and Suno too, but they weren't as close. Gohan's closest friend is both hundreds of years older than him and yet also only 8 years older, and Krillin is a year older than his dad, only real other friend he had most of his life that we saw. I don't think the age gap is gonna matter that much in how Toriyama would depict friendships, at least in the context of proper activities. I can def see Marron actually following Goten and Trunks around on misadventures and somehow being the more mature of the three... and yet also the biggest daredevil when the opportunity presents itself. And I can see the little tykes trying to tag along for hijinks.

In terms of shipping, yeah, I kinda don't ship any of the "next gen" crew with each other. Or anyone, really. And not Marron unless and until they've all gotten a good bit older, none of that "I'm 22/23 just waiting til you turn 18" stuff. But even then... eh... just not a fan. (I'll admit part of me is amused at the idea of Trunks and Marron being a couple if only for the sheer irony and the nightmare 18 and Vegeta would endure being in-laws [to say nothing of the idea of Future Trunks finding out somehow] but that's still not really something I ship.) Idk I guess if people wanna ship Marron with one of the boys they can, just... don't be weird about it? But the other two... there's no way you can make Trunks and Pan or Goten and Bra not creepy, I'm sorry. It's just not right.
