Just had a sleep deprived au idea of Constantine rambling about Gotham and mentioning how it's a cesspool of curses and magic races hidden and how there's three big monster Families who run everything.
The catch is that the three families are in fact the Waynes, the Bats, and the Malones.
No one knows that they're the same people, and Constantine was not aware that Batman is in the same room as he is about to have a great time with his kids fucking with the league.
[Monster High] so since pink lagoona is a hot topic in the fandom, i though it'd be a fun challenge to try and make some pink lagoonas myself. there's actually a lot of material to work with imo!
these are all essentially looks for a recolored g1 lagoona, only the last one being intended for her g3 personality. i wanted to make more for g3, but didn't quite like them in execution, so maybe another time..
tropical treasure: beautiful, glamorous, colorful, but a bit more of an aquarium decoration than a strange beast. loosely inspired by bettas
ghost ship cruise: etherial haunty lagoona, inspired by jellyfish. light, translucent and probably cold to the touch
coy classic: elegant mermaid pond lagoona, inspired by koi fish. this one is kind of an amalgamation of her g1 dolls that exists in my head tbh
little axolotl: cute and quirky, like the new lagoona. inspired by axolotls and sea slugs :)
can we tussle a bit as friends... can we do a little roughhousing a bit as friends... can you pin me down by the wrists with one hand and laugh at me for being into it... yknow... as friends...
I recently bought an art book on Caspar David Friedrich, whose emotional work stuck with me since I first saw it in a museum years ago. Over the course of a few weeks, I read about his life and at the same time did studies/interpretations of many pieces. It was a really enjoyable and fulfilling project; here's a good lot of them together :)
I was happy to see many people enjoyed Friedrich's work+my interpretations while posting them individually. It took way too long, but I FINALLY set up a print shop for some of these + some other pieces for those who expressed interest. Thank you so much!
