thinking about the relationship between sif and the universe, and related theories / headcanons aka I listened to a song and I need to get these feefees out of me

this is a lot of prelude for something that can be shown with just the video clip, but I want to include all the strings that make up this knot

Its not explicitly stated, but I believe it's pretty clear that whenever sif repeats something three times while hoping for something (sharpening the keyknife, carving in general, praying to the change god statue in dormont), he is performing wish craft.

however, he doesnt repeat anything three times when getting the keyknife. he doesnt even need to pray to get it at all, the change god just gives it to him. they say themselves that they dont care for rituals. they never even take credit for the stat buff, they only take credit for the keyknife

when sif changes how they pray at the change god statue, their method more strongly resembles the ritual to make a wish at the favor tree (picking the one you like best), and as a result the buff gets better. it is the wish craft ritual that is the important part of the prayer to that statue, not the change god

one thing that IS explicitly stated is just how powerful wish craft is for those who know the rituals, and how dangerous it is in the wrong hands. between the disappearance of colors (Im pretty sure that was the result of a wish, I may be misremembering), the disappearance of the country, and the king being nearly successful in freezing all of vaugarde in time, it only takes one wish to take out massive chunks of the world at a time

we know that wish craft is very entwined in the culture of the country (the story written about in the journal is told as a cautionary fairy tale, the rituals themselves are so deeply ingrained in sif that the wish to forget the country did not restrict his memory of the rituals, and he can perform wish craft without even being fully aware he is doing it)

it seems reasonable to me that the reason for the country's disappearance was to hide the existence of wish craft and the rituals to access that power from the rest of the world. considering sif didnt even remember his culture AND had good intentions, and still nearly ended the world, seems like that concern is pretty well founded. however, thats not the important theory Im making this post about

the country has knowledge of wish craft in conjunction with worship of the universe. "the universe leads, we can only follow," "the universe willed it," seems pretty safe to say that sif's Universe is the "entity" that is granting wishes

the way wishes are described, they dont seem like something the universe grants based on who worships it. as long as you know the ritual, you get the wish. everyone is part of the universe, after all, worshiper or not

Admittedly, its a bit of a stretch to say that the universe as a collective force has any sense of empathy for human struggles. but using the change god as an example, as spiteful as they are to sif, and unsympathetic to anything other than a human's role in the concept of change, they still show a great deal of care and favor to mira, someone who loves them. it is possible for a deity to care for those that care about it

sif, despite no longer having access to his culture or why he cares about the universe, still loves the universe, very very deeply, just as much as mira loves change. the change god says that sif's deity will never answer him, but I dont think thats the case

and this is the important headcanon that I am making this post for

sif is performing the rituals, so he gets the wishes, simple as. but I feel strongly that his wishes getting granted in very small but noticeable ways, despite not knowing how or why hes doing it, is the presence of his universe helping him, caring for him, even when he doesnt remember it

the strongest evidence for this, and the basis for this whole thing, is exactly how euphrasie breaks down in act 5

at first I only really noticed when she laughs, it reminded me very much of how the change god, a being who uses sprites of other characters and has done a whole possession, laughed during their encounter. they and euphrasie are the only two that use anything other than "ha," and right after this laugh is when her breakdown pauses and she says the lines

"... Soon you'll be able to go back to your normal lives. Away from battle and strife. Finally, you'll all be able to go home!!!"

which, knowing the end of the game is coming, is incredibly relevant. very deliberate

before this pause, her breakdown seems pretty chaotic. the characters and the player are just coming out of one harrowing experience, and are clearly headed for another. the cohesiveness of this glitchy breakdown amongst a mess of the rest of the world doing the same isnt really high up on the list of priorities. none of the characters notice anything beyond the fact that reality is breaking, not even sif. it just sounds like scary nonsense.

but with the context of euphrasie being possessed to talk to sif, every single one of her lines makes perfect sense

aaaa as far as time for the hobby goes, i actually only have that kinda time very recently (like over the summer and this semester).....if you noticed, i kinda dropped off for a year where i mustve only drawn like 10 things??? which is because last year was such a busy year for me in terms of work and courses...but this semester is better because im only in 3 classes: one doesnt have any exams and another im retaking (cuz i didnt pass the summer comp exam for it lol) so its all content ive seen before!! so this semester is a little easier and i can draw a bit more when i dont have homework or on the weekends!!!

as far as advice goes, (im not sure how art school works? or if youre in a normal university just majoring in art?) id say: take a lot of different classes to see what you like! explore different areas, and i think it might also be good to have like.....a contingency plan so to speak. like in my undergrad i got a minor in anthropology and almost got a certificate in accounting just so i had a little more options post-undergrad if the math major didnt work out!! so doing something like that is never a bad idea!!! (my undergrad program had a requirement to fulfill a certain amount of credits outside your major courses, so i used those to explore different things)

also dont be afraid to change if you feel you dont like your current path.....like i mentioned i was an astronomy major in undergrad first, and had wanted to go into astronomy since i was a kid, but found eventually it wasnt for me (i couldnt cut it in physics) and switched to something i wasnt SUPER passionate about, but i was good at it!! which was a huge decision for me and lowkey pretty risky (the fuck do you do with a math major?? everyone i asked they just replied "Oh you can do lots of things!" and never gave me an actual job title)

try to do summer internships if you can! as long as its financially feasible for you, itll make your resume a lot beefier when you graduate if employers/grad school see that you already have several experiences under your belt (and experience compounds on itself-- the more you have the more likely you are to get more!! for example here in my program, if you have more stats and coding experience coming in youre more likely to get more stats/coding assistantships, so you gain even more experience over the person who had no stats/coding experience prior and as a result got sent to be a TA or something. so the person who already had experience gets more experience and the person who didnt falls even further behind :') (me) )

networking is also important!!! since youre just in undergrad, i would recommend starting by talking to professors when you can. doesnt need to be like, going out of your way to go to their office hours and talk stories, but maybe chat a bit before/after class!! ask them how their weekend went, ask a dumb clarifying question!! i got to my current grad program because my professor came to me before class one day and said "I have a friend from [my current program] coming to recruit, you should go meet him." so be friendly with your professors so they get to know you and will pass on opportunities when they hear about them!!

a lot of professors get emails from all kinds of jobs/programs to the effect of "[place] is looking to recuit/hire" and they can pass those your way if youre on their radar!! and lastly work hard!!

(anyway this is advice i have based on my own experiences and what worked for me, it will most likely be different for you!! stay on top of your studies, but also force yourself to rest every so often!! I personally do not do any work on saterdays and try not to on sundays!! so i feel okay working hard the other nights of the week so i have two full days of rest....sacrifice your work-week free time for grades :') sometimes the best thing for your mental health is just getting the thing you dont wanna do out of the way!! good luck in uni!!!)

Really random headcanon stuff about Doom3guy from my novel (series) 'cause why not

Obviously, he is not and never will be my own character. Yet doesnt mean i cannot work on him and extend his personal depth in the name of creation.

- He is easily fitting into the “silent but deadly” type. Not a huge fan of wasting his time on small talk or somehow have them change their minds: he either takes his chances in action or nothing else (well, for the most part that is)

- From the outside, he can be seem like a cold, distant, unfriendly individual who has no feelings and only has interest in his own things. While in reality, he is just a person who is extremely picking when it comes to trust and reliability (mostly taken from his own experiences). He wont spare anything on those who dont deserve it. His introverted side doesnt “help” the situation either (he doesnt really care since this kind of operating has proven to be more useful in the long run, even with all the disadvantages intact). In fact, he may not be the most easily approachable person, however he has a truly loving heart that has all the place to those who he really cares about. You could even say he has a totally changed personality when they are around: he is talkative, friendly, very supportive, encouraging and smiles a lot. Its a rare sighing yet stunning to see and experience. 

- He is the type of guy who would stay behind and fight to his last drop of blood just to make sure, anyone who is involved gets to have the change to be saved. He puts everybody in the first place, then himself on the second. It is not rooted in ego rather in his fundamental beliefs: he is the leader, he is the man, he is the father - he has to step up, has to be the strongest line of defence and at the same time be ready for the possibility to give the best of his best or even his life for others. And he is never shy about projecting this kind of view: he is absolutely convinced, this is the reason he is around and the main purpose of his existence. If you ask me, his father had a great influence on him for sure 

- He was born on the 13th of January, 2118 (not friday!). Originally the place of birth was New York City, then decided to ditch the idea for a better alternative and a sharper narrative contrast. I hope one day you get to see why

- He joined the marines right after he graduated from high school. He was not only preparing heavily for the entry test (we all know who notoriously hard it is and i can confidently believe this wont change a lot in the future) during the 4 years but was a huge dream of his (again, his father’s influence since he served the UAC in the same way, for a fairly long time before his death). Before he got stripped from his rank and achievements, he made it to the “sergeant” (and wasnt too far to make it to “staff sergeant”). 

- He got married with his high school sweetheart not soon after he got accepted to join the marine corps. Their connection is much more based on deep emotional and intellectual properties rather than purely on physical attraction (its there though). Essentially they are total opposites who complete each other (like she is an very open, overly kind hearted and emotionally expressive individual yet a little bit naive and shy) but that doesnt automatically mean they cannot attach to the same principles and live by that. Its more about balance and a steady state that they are both happy and confident in. Also, one of the simplest conformations about their dynamic is how they usually sleep: big spoon - small spoon since it not only represents perfectly their inner sides but their relation to each other in the relationship (or because its romantic in this way and they like it a lot, lol)

- His wife and daughter (born in 2138) not only represent a strong pillar in his life but something essential he can always return to find refuge and (emotional) support in. He is a tough guy with a strong personality and enough hard times behind his back, yet he is not immune to the overwhelming hopelessness and sadness that lingers around and even more inside him. This kind of craving for care become much more evident when he returned back from Mars and had to deal with the trauma of the invasion, the truth and the agonizing nightmares that never stopped haunting him for years. His wife worked as a psychiatrist for the Company, although it wasnt truly her expertise in the field that were needed in these cases, rather her affectionate and devoted nature that helped him out the gutter many times.

- He has his own interest in many things, but the most important was always drawing to him, especially in an illustrative way. He has a great photographic memory, so combining this with his skills, it often results in well made even stunning art pieces. He kind of neglected his hobby when he become the member of the army, but after his daughter was born, he started to return back to it more and more. He didnt really imagine himself doing this for long or for life, however the entertainment value never seemed to fade away

- He is a huge fan of travelling, specially in tropical and/or warmer areas such as the Mediterranean peninsula, Central and South America and some parts of Southeast Asia. Wasnt the best experience for him though when he had to serve in such places like Syria, Libanon and Libya since the temperature and the environmental conditions were unbearable at best (along with the warzones he had to anticipate in). But to prove somewhat he is an actual admirer: he had his honeymoon in Portugal (it was a short weekend) which he still likes to relive to this day. 

- He is a great grandson of a somewhat “famous” individual (who is NOT polish and have nothing to do with WW2, rather was active during the difficult era from the early 2030s and later 2040s). His first name comes from his deceased uncle to honor his remembrance (thanks to his father) who was suffering from Duchenne dystrophy and died in an early age. His name was given when Mars and colonization was a hot topic during the 2090s and many parents named their child after or in connection with the planet.

Hi! I've been a Byler shipper since like 2019 but I was always on the side of "wait, guys, I see the hints too but be realistic, they probably won't go there, it's a mainstream show with a popular straight ship", but these days I am almost 100% sure Byler is happening and will be requited and endgame in season 5! I can't believe it! I honestly never thought I could be this convinced, before even seeing the season! And honestly it's so scary to me because it'll hurt even more if it doesn't happen now. I don't know I just felt like sharing. I'm so happy, but so afraid I'll be disappointed (more like heartbroken), because before that I had managed to keep my expectations low. But now 2 days before the season is out I'm like "fuck it! it's happening!". hello! thank you so much im glad youve liked hearing my thoughts about s4! it’s been so fun sharing all my predictions and ideas. i’ll be kinda sad when there’s nothing to predict anymore for this season after volume 2 is out.

i had a similar experience with byler. when s2 first came out i distinctly remember watching it and thinking “ok… is anybody else seeing this or am i just gay and want all my fav characters to be gay” and then i went on here and i was like ok cool not the only one. by then though i completely thought it was just a nice concept to think about and they werent gonna go through with it at all. then s3 came out and the line “its not my fault you dont like girls” confirmed to me that at least will is gay but i still wasnt sure about mike until i rewatched it later and noticed how bad he is with el in s3. then i found kaypeace and she completely sucked me in and convinced me its happening lmao. i casually shipped it since s2 but didnt think it would actually happen until around 2019.

still though, i was trying not to keep my hopes up too much but after the poster dropped and with everything we’ve gotten from the cast and crew over the last couple months it’s only increased my confidence.

i understand the fear of being disappointed but there is no doubt in my mind that its not happening based on everything everyone has said, especially what finn and noah have said about their characters this season. im so excited!

Idk if this was just me but I don’t feel like suresh was well written in those last episodes. Like he just didn’t sound like himself and everything he said was just a bit off with the phrasing?? Obviously it was cute that he was lovey doves with mc but I just don’t think he’d be the type to confess his feelings then be like “I hope you feel the same” or “how do you feel about where we are” I see him as someone who is confident and sure of himself and his relationship. Ya know and not needing so much reassurance I guess? I understand that he was happy he was back with mc and nervous that he would fuck up again but did he really need to ask every 2 seconds if we felt the same?? It was cute at first but then it kinda came off as lowkey needy and I was getting kinda annoyed by it lol. He came off as a bit ott for me at times during the last episodes and based on how he’s acted for the entire season I just didn’t see it being plausible or very on character for him. I guess what I’m saying is that they butchered him like they did with everyone else lol

babe it wasnt only you 😭😭 they ruined our pixel man by making him too soft. The constant needing of reassurance was just too much and IDK how any writer wrote that script and was like "YEP theyre going to love all the love we have in this episode!" NO we all collectively hated it and thought it was wayyyy too much...especially since its being jammed down our throats for the final episodes, repeatedly.

the henry growing up problems please 👀

aldhkshd ok this is definitely 100% made up and based purely on my interpretation of the jareau family since we get very little on how jj actually is as a parent (and even less on her kids’ personalities). so dont take it too seriously

to me henry seemed so.. quiet. to be fair he’s like three the first time we meet him aldhsk but im gonna go ahead and interpret his demeanor the few times we see him as a mild temperament. kind of like will, but will’s comes from consideration and courtesy while henry’s comes from having a very clear and simple path laid out for him with no options available

i think what im actually basing a lot of this on is jj’s relationship with her own mom. its such a strained relationship. her mom can barely get out a sentence without jj rolling her eyes and jj seems hypersensitive to her mother’s criticism. this is undoubtedly because she was likely criticized constantly as a child—constantly under scrutiny by a prideful, humiliated family under scrutiny by a “tight-knit” (invasive), traditionalist town. sucks to say it lol but the jareau family was probably judged a lot by her sister’s suicide: a dark stain on the reputation of the family. and with a mother who would rather pretend nothing happened for the sake of their image instead of putting jj’s needs first… not only did her family shove aside this devastating event, they placed all expectations of their family’s success on their remaining daughter’s shoulders. it was jj’s duty to make up for the embarrassment of her sister that she wasnt even able to mourn

when someone grows up under such omnipresent, overwhelming pressure, it can sometimes lead to them applying similar pressure to their own children as a way to prepare them for the world of their own childhood rather than the world their child is currently experiencing. that combined with jj’s pride in being a mother (prioritizing a pride in the position it gives her over actually mothering her children) creates a certain ~energy… it doesnt feel right to just say she’s assertive and leave it at that: it doesnt fully encompass the actual situation. she’s making up for all the freedom she lacked by decisively doing things her way now, not realizing that its placing a similar barrier on her own children. we know she’s repeating the same mistakes her mother made through the way jj talks (more aptly put: doesnt talk) to henry about rosaline

from the few interactions we see of will and jj as parents, its clear that jj has the final word. she feels entitled to make decisions concerning their family, and resists any kind of correction or suggestion. i feel like jj would be the kind of mom whose love feels like a cage: henry can sense the boundaries established by a mother he’s never seen challenged. i really do believe that jj wants to do whats best for her child, but her view is so cut and dry that her devotion to her child twists into defense of her parenting skills. while she has henry’s best intrest in mind, she’d only looking at it from her own perspective by only considering what happened in her own childhood

i think its almost worse for henry that all of this is done out of love, bc theres no way to argue against that. “im doing this because i love you” “i just want you to be happy” “i want whats best for you” are all seemingly loving sentiments that sours any attempt of contradiction. henry seems too sweet to further challenge his mother, so i think henry gives up defying her by the time he’s a teenager. even if he’s hurting, even if he cant do what he wants, even if the constraints feel like a noose around his neck, “mother knows best.” “be true to yourself, but only within the realm of what i find acceptable”

between his mother’s unyielding resolve and his father relenting, its unlikely henry grew up with much of a backbone. he has no confidence in himself as an individual: everything has been dictated by his mother, who’s been forever unopposed in his mind. she’s like a next level helicopter mom: her hovering presence is always felt and he always remains in his mother’s shadow. he has no hope to see beyond the barriers his mom has constructed bc the concept of confronting her has never been a possibility in his life—whether its him, his father, or anyone else for that matter. jj gets her way no matter what.

im uncertain on how self aware jj is about this constant conflict within her. assuming she truly wants whats best for her child, at some points she must realize that what she’s doing isnt healthy either. i just dont think the jj we see in the show is capable of acknowledging such a huge mistake. i think she’d double down on it instead of changing her ways, refusing to acknowledge any harm she may be causing despite knowing the truth. it would take a long time, and a LOT of introspection, for her to actually acquiesce

it would probably take a lot of work to undo that submissive mindset thats been instilled in henry his whole life. i think if he was an only child he’d probably stay in his mother’s grip, unwilling to hurt someone he knows genuinely cares about him. “its not worth it,” he may think, “what i want doesnt matter.”

im not sure why i think things go differently from michael. maybe bc little brothers, so im told, like to act like little shits. but between the two children i think he’s far more likely to butt heads w their mother. instead of accepting his mother’s limitations as just the way the world is—the way henry does—michael would get fed up with the constant handle jj has on every aspect of his life, rebelling against his mother’s control. i think it’d definitely be amplified once he’s a teenager, and i think the persistent fighting would lead jj to reflect on herself in a way henry’s obedience wouldnt. she’ll realize how much she’s become like her mom and learn to do what she wished her mother had done when she was a kid: listen

again this is all just speculation. i feel like jj would be a very domineering mother, even if it comes from a good place. will doesnt know how to stand up to her and his easygoing nature means he doesnt really mind letting her have complete control of the reins. but choosing that environment and growing up in that environment are two very different things, and i think henry would suffer for it

I completely believe the monologue was full of lies and it being based on Will’s feelings is definitely gonna come up in season 5 but I still can’t help but have a bit of doubt when I remember the Duffers saying they were proud of it and it was Finn’s best performance. Like if they’re going to have mitochondria break up next season why even have a love confession in the first place? I’m literally so confident in byler but this is the one thing that keeps me from completely believing it’ll happen to be honest 😕

ok anon im here to assure you that you really dont have to worry too much about it!! i had this kind of doubt before but tbh ive already moved past it bc i believe the monologue wasnt “unnecessary” by any means, the reason people say that if byler was meant to happen they wouldnt have had inserted the love confession is because they’re viewing it purely through a byler lens and not consider what it means for el’s arc specifically...one thing im certain about in the monologue is that whether or not mike was trying to be genuine or was lying the whole time, el didn’t receive his words positively. she didnt believe a single word he said even if it wouldve been a sincere attempt from him. while he was delivering the monologue she didnt actually feel the love she was supposed to feel from the words that went out of his mouth because if she did, it wouldve been shown to us visually. they wouldve shown us el recalling memories from all the times mike supposedly loved her, but instead we get her gradually being choked harder and looking even more in despair? we know that they had the opportunity to make use of more memories because they did use one memory from when el and mike first met, but it’s the only one that managed to surface on el’s mind because to her, it was the only truthful thing she felt from mike’s words. the monologue was necessary because it helped her realize that even after that verbal affirmation of ily coming from mike, she still didnt feel that he loved her. it helped her realize that his words alone are shallow and empty if he didnt actually show it to her. as someone said, it was a situation where el needed to hear the words ily from mike’s mouth in order for her to realize that she didn’t actually need it this whole time. it was necessary for her arc before she could finally decide to let go of him, as it was the final nail in the coffin that revealed he truly didnt love her *romantically* and just further proved that she didn’t need him anymore since his love confession didn’t actually work and wasn’t what managed to make her free herself from vecna’s grasp.

as for the duffers saying it was finn’s best performance...i think its because it does capture a lot of emotions at once (mike desperate to save el and saying what he thinks she wants to hear from him and the anxiety from having to see if it will work, and the urgency of the situation) and its not just supposed to be taken at face value thats why i believe theyre “proud” of it, though i dont agree with them that it was finn’s best performance but thats how i see it 🤷‍♀️ and ofc at the end of the day it was all prompted by will’s words and feelings (and they actively chose to write it that way) which will eventually lead to everything thats currently holding mlvn’s relationship to fall apart.

just remember that if they intended it to be mlvn’s big moment and something only about the love between the two of them, they wouldn’t have had constantly panned it to will and jonathan’s reactions or even show will in the background because it removes the intimacy in a moment thats supposed to be just about the two of them. the fact that they were even showing us will’s pained face just means that they wanted us to sympathize with him even up to that very moment!!

Even as grief obsessed as he was, once he sees that the miraculous for the butterfly was broken, using those miraculous would be useless to him. Besides, he cant leave adrien without a parent, (no matter how absent he already is)

-So I assume 3 scenarios.

-1. Gabriel would focus on trying to find one of the OTHER magical power sources he had looked into (the eagle miraculous, the Prodigious, etc) Gabriel apparently had found a LOT of magical items over the years.

-2. Gabriel wouldnt use the broken miraculous, but Nathalie would. She already used the peacock miraculous in season 2. And Nathalie would probably convince Gabriel that its worth seeing if they could locate the two miraculous.

-3. Gabriel tricks someone else into using the miraculous. Perhaps con his sister in law, or an impressionable sociopath (like Lila or Felix)

So lets cover each of these

Scenario 1: Prodigious.

Gabriel would have to wait a few months (considering this took place in between seasons 2 and 3). But for the most part getting the prodigious wouldnt be hard.

-The only person that knew about them was Fei. And with Gabriel's connection to Cash (that shady guy in the shanghai special) he could be sure to clear the area so he could swoop in and get the prodigious.

-Now the question would be if Gabriel could even use the prodigious. The answer is yea.

-With the pendent, all he then needs to do is embody the certain principals of each of the Renlings. Which Gabriel probably could in a way utilize all of them (probably would take much more time than Fei) but Gabriel is patient enough to wait 15 years.

-Gabriel would then become the new RenRen or since he is french Tout Por Un. (yes this is a reference)

-As Tout Por Un, Gabriel uses the dragon power to cause a commotion in Paris.

-Fu would see the magical influence (The kwami seemed to know about the prodigious, so my bet is Fu would know too) So he would likely try and fight it.

-But two differences. One, he would know it is MORE dangerous than the miraculous. and Two, he would realize he couldnt beat it alone.

-The problem is... this is MONTHS after what would have been origins. Adrien and Marinette would both be in very different headspaces.

-Without Gabriel being hawkmoth, he wouldnt have agreed to let adrien go to school. So Adrien would not be as confident, he would probably be more cooped up and sad.

-Marinette might not be as bad... since she has Alya. But she never stood up to Chloé herself, since she didnt get the ladybug miraculous. Marinette would likely be a shyer version of her canon self.

-Plus Fu probably wouldnt have run into them like he did at that time, so he would pick different chosen.

(And this is ASSUMING this happened before Feast)

-Also, would fu risk Tikki and Plagg? Since this doesnt involve akuma and just one big super bad guy. He would likely rely on the other heroes boxes.

-So Fu chooses a bunch of heroes and goes to fight Tout Por Un.

(And that in itself could be a fun au)

Scenario 2: Hawkmoth!Nathalie

-Nathalie couldnt just sit by and let Gabriel sit in misery. She took up the role of Hawkmoth. I imagine her approach was similar at first.

-Stoneheart still happens. Thus Origins happens.

-I can see a chunk of the first season being the same, but I imagine the akuma become deadlier and eventually, Nathalie figures out how to use the Butterfly to its fullest potential earlier on.

-She becomes Scarlet moth, with Gabriel as Catalyst. But Nathalie was burning away her life force.

-An event Like, Heroes day happens but much earlier. (Like season 1)

-This forces Fu to reveal himself to the heroes and give them a way to fight back

-Ladybug and Chat noir win the day. And Nathalie escapes but is clearly near her end.

-Gabriel sees that there is a guardian and that there are multiple miraculous. He decides to dig more deeply into this, and Nathalie probably ends up comatose.

Scenario 3: The Useful sacrifice.

Gabriel decides telling Amelie about the miraculous maybe a way to convince her to help get emilie back.

-Gabriel knew how similar his sister in law was to his wife. And with her husband passing away recently, along with her own sister, Gabriel could easily take advantage of her mindset.

-Felix would be hella sus of his uncles actions. (This results in Felix and Adrien living in agreste manor together and actually being close.)

-Felix is still a prick, but he doesnt hold any animosity towards adrien because of the events that occur.

-My bet is he would have her be Mayura (as some sort of way to reminisce about his wife, and the sentimonsters are clearly superior to akuma)

It was an obnoxious way to feel, but he'd learned to live with it. His fingers carded through your hair -- the softest he'd been with you in a while -- and your brow furrowed in your sleep. Your skin was a mess of bruises in various shades of healing-- for him. You let him do whatever he wanted to. Anything to make him happy.

He could -- and had -- spit on you and you'd just whine and thank him, usually tied up and sobbing at the abuse. To the honest, he wasnt even entirely sure if you enjoyed half the shit he put you through or if you did it solely because it's what he liked. It had been a while since the two of you touched base and talked about your dynamic; you'd both gotten comfortable in a routine and didn't even think about it anymore.

"Kenji?" Your mumble drew him from his thoughts; the subtle whine softening him a bit.

"What?" Internally, he groaned at how pissy he sounded, realizing you were probably still needing some aftercare from the earlier scene.

He struggled to treat you kindly, even on his best days; the fact you put up with him and his quirks was beyond his understanding. If you'd acted like half the brat he did most days he'd have dropped you years ago and never looked back.

But you just gave him a sleepy little smile, humming contentedly as he continued to gently brush your hair out. More to make sure he hadn't, y'know, ripped any out or something when he'd dragged you to the bedroom earlier.

"Don't you have early classes tomorrow?" There it was again. That obnoxious little... flutter of his heart as you rasped out your question, blinking back sleep from your swollen eyes. Shirabu tsked softly, narrowing his eyes at you.

"I've still got homework to do, since someone decided to be a little brat." The way your lips threatened to tug up into a smirk would have miffed him at any other time, but he decided he'd let you have your win tonight. If he hadn't been so neglectful, you wouldn't have lashed out in the first place; you really were such a good little slu-- partner.

You were a wonderful partner.

"I'm sorry." You whispered -- y'know, like a fucking liar -- and he scoffed.

"Of course you are." Only because he'd bruised your ass before he fucked it, he wanted to point out, not because you legitimately felt bad about cutting his hair. He supposed he should have been more careful not to let you cum, but you weren't the only one feeling pent up lately.

There was a long silence, and just as he debated whether you'd finally drifted back off, you mumbled.

"I love you, Kenji." The phrase always made him lock up, choking on his response. You'd gotten used to the hesitation -- or, in most cases, a soft ah instead -- but he knew you needed to hear it tonight.

"Love you, too." He grumbled through grit teeth; annoyed with himself that he couldn't just... be loving. You deserved it; offered him every part of you to be used and abused for his enjoyment. Accepted every fucked up piece of him. He should be able to--

"You're thinking too hard," A hand was suddenly cupping his cheek and he stiffened. "We're fine just the way we are. I wouldn't be here if I had an issue with the way you treat me." It was a conversation that the two of you had had a million times.

Well, something you'd said a million times before.

Shirabu didn't know how -- or when -- you'd noted the one thing he was bothered by in your relationship, but your soft reassurance helped. The feeling of your fingers tracing patterns into his cheek was enough to make him melt into you, carefully pulling you flush against his chest.

"Obviously." His mutter came out more confident than he really felt right then, and you hummed in acknowledgement.

you know it comes with the job, you know hes gonna come home nearly in shambles sometimes

that doesnt stop the fear and panic every single time

as soon as he crossed the threshold into your shared home, you were instantly by his side, first aid kit already ready on the coffee table

hawks tried to laugh and crack a joke, to say you worry too much, but he silenced himself when 1: it was painful to do much of anything, and 2: he could see tears forming in your eyes

both of you opted to stay quiet, him with his eyes closed both in pain and exhaustion, and you to stay focused on cleaning, mending, and patching up any and all damaged areas and to keep from crying

that night you had to shower with him to make sure he didnt hurt himself more (and of course, he didnt mind one bit)

as you were both drifting off to sleep, hawks gently urged you closer to him, holding you close “i love ya kid... and im sorry for worrying you”

aizawa:

you were out on patrol in a new area, having to be switched last minute due to some,,,high profile criminals

aizawa knew this, and it was one of the few days he had off so he was both relaxing and keeping an eye on the news, just in case

hes just about to get some snacks when he hears the door open... your home early

he goes to see you, asking if anything happened, but the question died in his throat when he saw you bloodied and bruised

shallow cuts on your neck and face, deeped gashes on your sides and back

what got his blood boiling was the hand-shaped bruise that adorned your neck and arms

he knew it was part of the job, hes come home beaten to hell as well, but he hates to see you hurt

he cleans and inspects the gashes to see if they need stitches, but they seems like some butterfly bangages and gauze will be enough

youre oddly quiet, usually going on about the patrol or ranting anout whoever you had to face, but you were silent

it wasnt until aizawa ran you a bath and was washing your hair that you said anything

oh, so thats what happened... but then- “i never thought my own brother would try to kill me. i, i think im gonna take a leave from.... from work for a bit...”

aizawa wasted no time in cradling you in his arms, letting you sob and scream your pain and frustration out

hes glad you decided to take a leave of absence and helps you find a therapist and all when you brought it up

dabi:

he didnt seem too beat up when he got home, but by the smell of burnt skin and a distinct metallic smell, you knew he needed some first aid

he wasnt too bothered by his wounds though, letting you do your thing

you give him a mini lecture, telling him to be at least a little more careful, and went to start dinner

you forced him to stay on the couch while you cooked, but of course he broke that rule and stood with his arms around your middle while you continued cooking

he doesnt usually talk about his fights, but tonight he sure did

he explained how he ran into a pro hero while on his way back to base, and while he didnt share any of the more gruesome details, he did say he won (clearly)

but he also confessed to being drained and exhausted, mentally and physically

“they wanted information about me and who im around. i...i got kind of scared they would try to take you”

you moved the dinner from the stove, turning it all off before you turned around and hugged him close, pressing small kisses all over his face and neck

it was always a risk you both had to deal with, and it scared the both of you

shigaraki:

you werent part of the league, or a villain for the matter

you had a quirk, a good one too, but you didnt want to be a hero. you went to college instead

so it came as a shock when shigaraki walked out into the common area of the hideout to see the other league members fussing over you, only stopping to let him get to you

dabi and toga helped him patch and bandage you, but afterwards, shigaraki carried you to his room, shutting and locking the door when he had you seated on the bed

you looked shaken up, scared even, and that made shigarakis blood boil

he didn’t press you to say anything, knowing you’d tell him when you want to

luckily that was now, as you confided in him that some of the older students at your college, known for being assholes, decided to jump you

when shigaraki demand that you tell who, you laughed darkly and said you doubted they would still be living at this point

his sweet, little college student s/o killed? holy shit

hes proud of you, but is also hella pissed he wasnt there to protect you (even if it was basically impossible)

regardless, he and the league helped you collect some of your things and moved you into shigarakis room since you’re now a wanted person

shigaraki doesnt want you getting hurt again so he is around you constantly, even on his missions. (will assign you and him to get supplies, youre surprisingly good at stealing things)

Bora slowly jogged up the stairs to reach the group’s practice room in hopes of going over the steps of your newest song, but when she was close enough, she was surprised to hear the music already playing from inside the room, indicating that someone had already beat her to it.

When she quietly took a peek inside, she wasn’t all that surprised to see you, dancing along to the song, looking as though you’d been at it for hours. Which was actually true, considering you’ve arrived at the company three hours ago.

“Working hard?” A cat like grin appeared on the main dancer’s face when she saw the slight twitch of your right eyebrow at her presence through the mirror and how you promptly ignored her while you continued to go through the steps of the choreography.

It was a known fact in your group that the two of you had this silent war going on between you. She was officially the main dancer of the group, and you were the lead dancer, which meant that fans often pitted you against each other on who was better.

While the older woman easily brushed it off, you were the complete opposite. Even when you try to ignore the comments, you always felt like you had to prove yourself to someone, that you were just as good, even though you initially didn’t care who was “the best”.

Because of that, Bora made it her personal mission to piss you off with every chance she got, despite your leader’s warning about her going too far. The dancer just enjoyed getting a rise out of your usual calm façade, even when there were instances that angering you made her a bit scared.

“Yah! Are you not going to greet me? I’m your unnie!” She tutted before pausing the song, earning a small glare from you, and she could see the way your jaw clenched, a sign that you were holding back whatever snappy remark was pleading to come out of your mouth.

Instead, you let out a deep breath before looking to the older woman. “Hi.” You say dryly before moving away to grab your water bottle and a towel to wipe off the sweat that had accumulated on your face. Bora huffs at the lack of enthusiasm before she walked closer to you.

“Lighten up, Y/n. You’re always so serious and snappy with me.” She clicks her tongue when you continue to ignore her. “What happened to being the dongsaeng that always pestered me to hang out with them? You were always so cute, you know?” She continues to taunt, gauging your expression as more words came falling from her mouth without pause. “You were always so eager to practice together, too.”

You do your best in keeping a straight face, grabbing your things before moving to the farthest area in the practice room, opting to just wait for the rest of your members to arrive for your practice to actually start.

But the most you get to do is settle your things on a seat before Bora began lightly pushing your shoulder. “Y/n, at least say more than one word.” She taunts further, but with all the times she’s been up on your business lately, it wouldn’t take long before she had pushed you past your limits.

“What? Are you really-”

But her words were cut short as her smaller body collided with the cold surface of the wall. Her eyes widen visibly when your body towers over her, eyes boring deep into her own, it being admittedly the closest you’ve been ever since this whole one sided rivalry came to life.

"For once in your life, can you shut up, unnie?" You practically spat the words out as you kept her in place, your noses nearly touching as you stared down at the older woman while her breath got caught in her throat by your sudden actions.

But it takes her a second to recompose herself as the same infuriating smirk crept up her lips. "Why don't you make me?" She shot back. And since you were only holding her by the shoulders, she was able to grab the front of your shirt and dared you to come closer.

The air in the room was growing hotter and the tension was becoming more and more unbearable with each passing second. Your stare off went for another five seconds before you had crashed your lips against hers, Bora reacting quickly as she tightened her hold on your shirt and her other hand went to the back of your head.

The kiss is intense, carrying, not only yours, but the dancer's frustration as well. Her hands cling to you, almost as though she were afraid that you would pull away quicker than she wanted you to, but your arms wrap around her, bodies flushed against one another while you both continued to tug at each other’s clothes, lips moving and tongues meeting.

When your lungs start to burn and air becomes an issue, you’re forced to pull back, both of you panting heavily and staring at each other once again, though not as angry compared to when you had first pinned her to the wall.

There’s an understanding in both of you as you slowly pull away and try to steady your breathing while Bora lets her carefully fix your hair just so no one would question your disheveled appearance, but since you’ve been practicing for quite a while, you could easily play it off.

“Oh! You’re already here.” Minji’s voice greets you both as your members finally enter the practice room. “Have you both finally made up?” Siyeon playfully jokes when she sets her things down and Bora is back to her usual confident self. “I was just trying to help Y/n look presentable for you all.”

“Pretty sure you weren’t teaching her to dance, given how you both already have the choreographies imprinted in your brains.” Yubin comments when she reaches for your towel to wipe your face, making the woman’s eyes narrow but she quickly looks away with a wide grin slapped onto her face. “She was already practicing when I got here. Still needs a bit of polishing.” She shrugs before walking away and you could feel your jaw clench as you directed your eyes to the ground.

Yoohyeon lightly rolls her eyes and pats your back when Yubin puts the towel aside. “Don’t mind unnie. You know she just likes annoying you because you give her the reactions she wants.” The tallest in the group reminds you as you grunted and crossed your arms. “I know.”

The pair just smile at you, and despite the fact you could be sweaty already, Yoohyeon latches on to you and squeezes you tightly as Yubin laughed and shook her head. “Come on, don’t mind it. After practice, we can go out and visit that ramen place you like so much.”

Now that had got you smiling again as you nodded your head, following after your members when Minji called for all of your attention. Though with your place by Gahyeon, you weren’t able to see the pursed lips or the small frown on a certain dancer’s face, especially when you left with Yoohyeon, Yubin, and Handong after practice.

“Why are you still up? Aren’t you tired?” Bora was surprised to see you all alone in the kitchen, a mug in your left hand and your phone in the other. “I can’t sleep.” You say before taking a sip of your drink and then setting it back down. “What about you? What are you doing up?” You ask while finally looking away from your phone to check on the older woman.

Bora stood by the entrance, her already small figure already appearing smaller with her slightly bigger pajamas and the way she stood with her arms wrapped around herself.

But seeing you right now had replayed your earlier encounter in the practice room that she found it a bit difficult to properly meet your eyes. “I’m usually up late, remember?” She shrugs, trying to seem nonchalant as she moved to take a seat in front of you.

You only responded with a hum before your eyes were back on your phone and the silence ensued between you both.

And this time, the tables have turned with Bora fidgeting around, silently squirming in her seat whilst you remained passive towards her ever since you came back.

That was the difference between you. While she was able to mask her inner thoughts around others, she couldn’t do that with you, at least not until you had kissed her. Your silence was only further fueling her frustrations, but it was simply your own way of dealing with the earlier incident while also trying to avoid whatever talk you so clearly needed to have.

“Y/n.” She called desperately, but you refused to budge.

“Unnie.” Was your simple reply and she huffed before standing back up. The sudden action catching your attention as you looked and watched as she marched up to you, her lips twisted in a scowl before she was grabbing the front of your shirt and pulling your towards her.

This time, she initiates the kiss. But the result was the same as earlier with you responding to it, hands coming to rest on her petite waist. The kiss was much more gentle compared to earlier, though still just as eager. Her hands released your shirt to cradle your jaw before she would pull back to rest her forehead against yours.

“Listen, I am tired of whatever cat and mouse game we have going on.” She finally tells you, a more serious look on her face compared to all the usual teasing ones she would give you. “We weren’t like this before and I hate not getting to spend time with you without us butting heads. It’s exhausting.” She muttered and you stared at her in disbelief as she finally began to get whatever weight she had off her chest.

“I really like you, but every time we’re together, it felt like you hated me and I don’t know what I did. But annoying you was the only way you would actually talk to me, so I did and-”

“I don’t hate you.” You quickly say without thinking. “I never hated you. I hated how people constantly compared me to you. I just always felt like I had to prove myself to everyone that I could do well, too, and while I admired you so much, whenever I saw you it was like I was being reminded of how much I lacked as a dancer and a singer.” You sighed. “It made me think there was no way for me to even be on your level.”

Now that effectively shut her up. Bora stared at you in disbelief and sympathy while feeling disappointed at the same time.

She knows about the competition InSomnias had between you, and while she was able to brush those off, she didn’t realize that it was taking its toll on you. It angered her that people had pushed you so much to the point of doubting yourself, more so distancing you from one another instead of the opposite.

“You should have told me, or at least anyone in the group. Do Dami or Yoohyeon know?” A shake of your head had caused her to sigh before she sat on your lap and pulled you into a hug.

“Whatever anyone else is saying, you have no reason to prove yourself to them. You’re doing extremely well on your own. Those people are only trying to tear them down.” She whispered while squeezing you and you wrap your own arms around her to reciprocate the much needed embrace.

“We’re going to be okay. We’re going to prove them wrong, just watch.”

every day i think about how they changed the le bien qui fait mal and l'assasinphonie choreography so salieri wasn't dancing close with sexy half naked men. do we know why. i have tried and failed to pinpoint an exact time. i feel like im going insane. they no homoed a dance

anon.. i think about that daily too... im so happy someone else loves the original choreos like i do 😭 it took me a while to reply cuz i was on a mission to answer ur questions as best as i could. so... finally... here is what i found out:

first of all if u wanna read my rant about the changes, in general, here are the posts about le bien qui fait mal and l'assasymphonie

second of all "do we know why" is a good question. meaning i dont have an answer dlkjaskl i just now started to learn french so if they ever talked about it in a video, or something... i missed it. so right away im telling u that i can only offer my guesses.

starting with LE BIEN QUI FAIT MAL, as i said in that post i linked, i tried to figure out whether they only degayed it for the 2011 proshot or not and i found out that no, the changes were also present in live performances.

then an anon told me massimiliano (the dancer who manhandles salieri) couldnt be at the 2011 proshot recording. i checked the video and he really wasnt there at all, but that still doesnt fully explain things, bc as u will see from my extensive, very professional research, unlike in the 2011 proshot, in live 2011 shows massimiliano was there, performing, in other parts of the musical. just not during lbqfm. i know he is an irreplaceable icon, so much that i couldnt find a single video where he wasnt the one manhandling salieri (even tho other dancers, from other parts of the choreo, kept switching), but to me its now clear that that was not the case. they really just decided to change the choreo.

so now lets see how it all progressed

for that its helpful to know the dates of mor performances. based on that i was insane enough to watch as many videos as i could to try to pinpoint when the choreo changed. except it wasnt that simple. i quickly found out that a loootttttt of other changes happened before that major one, before massimiliano left. so here it is

13, 15, 16 may 2010 now the other guy is gone too, only women left (but the dancer is not really gone. im pretty sure hes there, doing another thing next to them)

(cannot find a video from the 17th, that was the last performance in lyon)

performances at zenith de saint etienne begin at the 21st but i couldnt find a video from it

22 may 2010 original again (sidenote salieri is really unhinged here)

27 may 2010 change. female dancer who's usually interacting with salieri during the first verses isnt there, just massimiliano. not sure if its the same woman who calls him during the bridge and moves him thru the dancers but anyways shes also not there, he walks around alone. so when the Climax happens, again, only massimiliano is there grabbing him

31 may 2010 and 6, 10, 13 and 19 june 2010 another change. the female dancer is back, but during "j'adore l'avoir dans la peau" usually there are two dancers next to him mimicking playing a harp with their bodies but not this time

now the dates that matter the most i cant find a single videeooo 🤡 which are the performances in limoges (25, 26 and 27 june 2010) so all i can say is that

3 july 2010 is the first time i could find that massimiliano wasnt there. aka the degayed choreo. but i cant say if it is the first. also the original choreo for the "j'adore..." part is back again. thats the only performance they did in nancy and its also the last tour performance from 2010. a bunch of people were at the curtain call, even albert cohen was there, so its very weird that massimiliano was absent. im so mad i couldnt find those videos from late june bc all i got is just one video of him not being there, which makes me think he just couldnt be there so they had to change the choreo

9 november 2010 they are back in PDS and its the original again (also this is just for me but he still has the original cravat here. im trying to kill two birds with one stone)

19 december 2010 massimiliano is fully gone 🎻 yamin even replaced him during la mascarade, like it happens in the 2011 proshot. i think since this date this change became the standard for a while, before they went back to the original. in the meantime, im guessing its when they shot the 2011 proshot

9 january 2011 still just the female dancer but because it was the last performance in paris, before going on tour again, she has a whip for funsies. also they added, at the end, 2 female dancers sorta removing and quickly putting back salieris coat

28 january 2011 first tour performance, still just the female dancers. and i was not paying attention to this before, but i noticed for the first time in this video the 2 women dancing together, like they show for 2 seconds in the 2011 proshot. lesbian rights <3 i dont think it was part of the original choreo? its hard to tell exactly when they added that bc people usually record salieri, not the dancers, and hes not next to them when it happens (its before the bridge)

4, 5, 6 february 2011 still just the female dancer. but unlike before, this time (but idk exactly when it began) massimiliano was there for other parts of the show; yamin and other people didnt replace him (on the 4th: im pretty sure hes present in l'assasymphonie) (on the 5th: hes in la mascarade, le trublion, etc)

so. they really just changed it. massimiliano not being able to perform wasnt the case. we have to accept that they made a mistake <333 ldkajslk

19, 20, 27 february 2011 the original is back

19, also 19, 20, 23, 26 march 2011 it changed a little again but massimiliano is still there. no one bends salieri back and just one guy and one woman do the push and pull motion. also i think around here they removed the two women dancing together? maybe i just cant see it

12.06.2011 just massimiliano, no female dancer. im obsessseedddd with this video fully bc of the things massimiliano does!! obsessed with his evil smile @0:48, obsessed with salieri forgetting to throw the score on the floor, so massimiliano grabs it from his hand and forces him to kneel and stand up again. can u tell im a massimilianator and the choreo without him has no chance to please me?

TL;DR: 19 december 2010 is when the degayed choreo became the standard for a bit and on 19 february 2011 the original returns.

im confident that watching all those videos in a short period of time gave me brain damage but .. anything for science <3

ANYWAYS i started to do this to figure out why they changed It only to realise they changed A Lot of other things throughout performances (some things i didnt even mention, like the dance the woman does next to salieri during the first verse changes a lot) and they kept going back and forth to the original choreo. i think i can safely say not a single part (involving salieri) remained the same throughout the whole thing (not even the bending him back part was always there. i could swear it would be but!! no!). my guess is maybe because a certain dancer took a break or maybe they just wanted to do something different

in conclusion i figured out the exact dates but i cant tell u why massimiliano wasnt part of lbqfm for a while. i couldnt even find people talking about it on forums but, again, maybe bc im not fluent in french. to me it was a big loss, the whole thing loses its spice, i obviously prefer the original by miles. no idea why they simply didnt chose someone to replace him bc the other dancers changed all the time.

maybe it was in florents contract that only massimiliano was allowed to manhandle him <3 dlkjaslk im half kidding bc who knows? maybe it was a legal thing, maybe massimiliano invented this part of the choreo and only He could do it 😭 but honestly. my real final guess is that they simply wanted to change things to make it New and Fresh. as we saw, massimiliano leaving wasnt the only lbqfm choreo change.

moving on to L'ASSASYMPHONIE thank god bc it will be a lot easier to pinpoint when they changed the choreo. i believe they changed it and never went back to the original </3 god knows why </333 so when i find the new one ill stop looking

03.01.2010 last performance from "season one", at PDS (before going on tour) and also the last time they used the original choreo bUT ! THERES A BONUS! MORE MEN !!! LKDJALKS they said we will degay it later but u can have more naked men as a goodbye gift <3 really caught me by surprise, its the first time i watched it. but u wanna know whats really weird? this blurry shaky video is the only one i can find?! i even had to scroll a lot on youtube to get to it... conspiracy theory dove is trying to hide the original choreo. but honestly it makes no sense bc it was a Special day..... i cant find it anywhereee not even outside youtube... this is a hate crime. this is offensive. this is the heresy salieri sings about in the song.

the only thing i found was another performance from the same day but i think its the morning or afternoon performance and not the very last one. its for sure different than the one i linked first. i dont think there are 100 men onstage but at least we can see he had black nails 🥰 anyways... if anyone knows a better shot video of the very last performance... let me know... im really upsetklfdjalsjdal I FEEL SOOOO ROBBED...

and im even more mad now, remembering that from now on we get this new choreo. it began on their first tour

04.02.2010 2010 tour begins, first time we see the new choreo

and i have absolutely no idea why they changed it. again, i never saw an explanation and i dont have a single guess. i cannot imagine why they thought the new one was better. if i have to say one nice thing about it is that i like the background, the moving curtain that kinda looks like flames. they should absolutely drop the stupid flashing lights and just leave that background for the Cool effect and bRING BACK..... THE HALF NAKED BLINDFOLDED MEN (HNBM) ...........  THEY CAN REPRESENT SO MUCCHHHHHH... I LOVE THEM....

Ive had this story ive been wanting to share ever since i started following this blog (months) which is the main reason why i started shipping bkdk and why, whenever i hear people saying their relationship hasnt changed at all, or that Bakugo hasnt grown enough, or that Midoriya is just being delusinal on "admiring" kacchan(have you ever heard that one?), i get very frustrated, soooo

Basically i also had a childhood friend i shared the same class with for 10 years. From 5 to 15. So a big chunk of my child/teenage years

We were besties for 8/9 of those years?

She was... What my sister calls "a fictional character in real life". She was just... A huge princess, bratty, confident, and always made sure she got her way. She also grew up to become, in my opinion, the prettiest girl my age I'd ever met.

I dont know how we became friends, but my youngest memories of us together are of me chasing after her while she, (and the rest of her admirers) did whatever they wanted.

She wasnt the best person to me.. I dont think even half of the stuff she did she realised she was hurting me for real, but she did. I was her bestie, so i couldnt play with anyone else, but while i was with her I was called useless, nerd, weirdo, annoying. Once, when we were little, she isolated me from a sleepover at her house cause i didnt want them to cut my stuffies fur. That might not seem like much now, but inside the world of a 7 year old.. It was big. Once we got older, it got much worse as i was the only girl in my class who was still flat as board, didnt have an insta, and worse off all, they found out i liked anime and games :00.. It was as if i had been outed for liking that stuff and they constantly shamed me for it.. It was absolute hell for at least 2 years until we got to a bigger school where more people liked those things and people with more strength than me and didnt take shit made her shut up.

This might already remind you of a certain angry boi from a certain bnha(or not, thats fair), but the part that connects it all is that.. I really really admired and liked her despite all that crap, for all those years.

Honestly, shes the reason i still question my sexuality. I think i had a crush on her back then.

She was just.. So awesome when she wasnt bullying me! She was confident, and made friends easily, and had a way to manipulate others that was so obvious snd yet somehow no one seemed to get it, and she just had this charm, and always looked so pretty... If she decided she was gonna do something, then she'd do it. And she was strong too.. Some stuff would happen in her home life and shed shrug it off. Then there were also these moments where she opened up a little and let me see inside. One of my sweetest memories of her was once where she appeared as a surprise to my birthday to sleepover. She begged her mom to do it cause she wanted to see me during my birthday,as i later learned. We spent the night undercovers playing and talking. My mom had a photo of us all tangled up together sleeping the next morning. I was the only one she did that for. I loved knowing that. I was proud of it.

And so, no matter what else she did, i never left her side.. I didnt have anymore friends, and despite our relationship being toxic, i couldn't leave her..

But eventually, we just, broke? Im not sure how it happened. I met other people, better people, who were good friends, and i still talk to. She also met other people, who liked taking pictures and going shopping, and gossiping. And then, for the first time ever, we were separated into different classes. We never really talked again after that.. And that just makes me.. So empty inside. I wish i could talk to her now, and tell her so much crap. How she hurt me, and how i loved her despite it, and how she was my definition of confidence and victory. Still is.

When i met bnha, Bkg and Mdr, i remembered her, and our friendship, and now when i see them together in the manga now,i just think what couldve been for us if we stuck together. Especially cause i still see her sometimes, with other friends and boyfriend now, and she really seems older.. More grown up. Not the brat i knew. Im not sure cause we dont talk, but yeah.

So i completely understand Midoriya. How he admired Bkg despite the bullying, and believes in him, and felt overjoyed when Bkg spoke to him, or simply doesnt care anymore when Bkg is meaner. He knows its just him being bratty, not exactly mean

And when people say they haven't evoluted(?) enough, i just... Get frustrated!

Theyve changed so much! The way they interqct now is different, and will probably keep changing, and whqt i think they really need to fix theur relationship is the apology.. I long for that horribly.. For maybe obvious reasons :|

I wish id had the opportunity to work through my relationship with her too.. If our relationship could be like theirs is now.. Id be overjoyed

Sooooo, just a little story for any anti-bkdk or just people that cant understamd how Deku still tolerates Bkg.

HTGAWM: Hogwarts Houses

ANNALISE KEATING

 Annalise, portreyed by the one and only Viola Davis, has been holding the whole show in her fingers as if its a puppet. The character of Annalise is so courageous and inspiring everytime she stood up at the court to defend anyone and herself too as she emits tones of emotion to the viewer of the show. (Especially the last episode court that she started talking about her self)

 However lets not forget the fact that she managed to cover up and get away with murders galore and save her students and family as well. The whole show is based on covering those murders so i believe that Annalise would be sorted in Ravenclaw since she is truly inteligent to actually get away with murder and teache her stedents to do so as well.

  MICHAELA PRATT

Such power, been through hell and back since she was tiny and yet she managed to become what she became completely on her own as she had absoloutely nobody to support her. Michaella almost sacrificed her so wanted future carreer at Caplan and Gold to avenge the death of  Wes just so Laurel and baby Chris could live in peace. Therefore, in the end she turned on everyone picking her own self betraying her so called friends.

 To sum up i believe she belongs to Slytherin because she has always been ambitious, a perfectionist and determined to her goal which a. was not to get in jail and b. to succeed. As she is ready to fullfill them at all costs.

  CONNOR WALSH

Connor has been a weird character from the very begining with tones of ups and downs but in the end he did what he did only for Oliver's well being and protection. He was more than simply guilty when Wes died and tried everything in order to gain Laurel's forgiveness. Mr. Walsh never stopped trying to protect himself the same way he made efforts to protect himself. For example he had been trying to close a better deal for both himself and Michaela untill the very end and he told Ollie that he doesnt love him so as he would move on and forget him.

 To be frank (you got the pun there ehhh), i am still not sure where he actually belongs. He is for sure daring, brave and confident but his actions also reveal extreme loyalty to his friends, hard work and dedication. Yet again he was willing to play his head to help his friends bury a body, reveal a massive sabotage and also protect them. Connor deserves Gryffindor!!!

  LAUREL CASTILLO

As far as i am concerned Laurel had the biggest glow up in the show. Starting off as a sweet and silent girl and ending up as a responsible woman with priorities she got the screen time she deserved  after season 2. Pregnancy and Wes' end changed her character critcally as she abruptly grew into avenging setting in trouble not only herself but her friends as well just so she gives justice to her love's soul. Laurel had the best timing ever as when needed she snatched her child and left without setting anyone in danger this time.

 All in all, Laurel would be sorted in Gryffindor since she is brave enough to leave so she protects her child, chivalous since she had the guts to go against her father to avenge Wes (dont say she put her friends into it. Michaela could say no). Confident to work while pregnant as Bonnies internship.

   ASHER MILLSTONE

Asher Millstone looked like a really annoying character during the first seasons but he turned out to be the sweetest of them all. He was so caring, sweet and friendly towards his friends and girlfriend. Asher betrayed his family for his friends when he thought it was right and did the opossite as well always to protect the ones that were loyal to him just like he was. He was dedicated in whatever he did and never mistreated anyone who didnt deserve. He has been so dedicated to their little crew.

 In conclusion, Asher is a straight away Hufflepuff. He was loyal to Michaela even though she was pushing him away and was seeing Gabriel. He was trying to help them even when he was considered a traitor.

  FRANK DELFINO

Frank has been one weird and cyclothimic character. He looks so vicious after season one when we know about what he did. At first i didnt like the way he was interacting with everyone but after season 4 he proved me wrong as he tried to take responsibility of Christopher and be his father and when he saw Laurel  was too stuck on the past and didnt want him, he went to Bonnie whom he didnt let down.

 Frank has been maybe the most loyal and dedicated person inside their little gang. He wasnt afraid to get his hands in blood if it meant rescueing his family which shows really hard work, the hardest anyone did. So i guess Huffleuff it is.

   BONNIE WINTERBOTTOM

Dearest Bon Bon, sure i did not like her at first but she turned out to be a really awesome character. Been through hell and in the end she didnt betray her friends (*coughs* Michaela). She never hesitated to do what's right or what needed to save her family. Bonnie always had the guts to fix things and take innitiatives and risks that could help. She is not scared of responsibility.

 Bonnie is brave to take advantage of her thesis benefits, she seizes oportunitys and has really strong morals even though she tends to get a bit off... well she human isnt she. To sum up she is a straight Gryffindor girl!!

  OLIVER HAMPTON

Ollie is one of my favourite characters ever. He is so loyal and dedicated that he actually comitted felonies for the love of his life. He never cared if it was morally good or bad if it was to protect Connor or his friends. He adapted so quickly into the way things were and faced everything like he was from the very beginning with them. He never hesitated a moment as he actually risked as well his Caplan and Gold by stealing the Castillos.

 I believe he is a straight Hufflepuff with a lot of Ravenclaw hints. He is hardworking into helping everyone at the Keating business. He has been so faithful since ever he realised he was part of the team. I just wuv him!! <3

  WES GIBBINS

Wes... he is truly focused on his goal which has been a different thing throughout his protagonistic screen time. He didn't care how he just wanted to learn what was up about his mother, about Rebbeca. He sacrificed he doesn't hesitate to show his dislikeness towards Annalise who supported him since episode one. And basically thats what gave him the end he got.

 Ambitious, focused on his goals and only his goals, valiant when needed. Ruthless towards the ones who deserved it and he also knows how to use his inteligence as a weapon towards others so he is obviously a Slytherin.

Hard Lives - Jason Todd x Reader

It was unfair. The whole team seemed to hold a grudge against Jason, for what reason you did not know. He was cocky and arrogant, but he was harmless, to the team at least. He needed more experience, or so Bruce said, but he wasn’t being given it. Dick wanted him and the rest of you teenagers to stay in the Titans base. But it was clear Jason didn’t want to.

You didn’t either, but you were obeying the adults to the best of your ability. If they wanted you to remain put, it was in your best interest to do so.

From the way they treated him he became distant, retreating into his own quarters and limiting his socialisation to talking to Gar.

Jason liked to train. He wanted to be the best Robin he could. You envied his skill, and here you currently were, watching him take out his frustrations in a stick battle with the green haired boy.

Bruce's adoptee appeared to be winning, throwing his stick to the back of Gar's legs so that he fell onto the mat. The vigilante smirked, offering the closest person he had to a friend a hand up.

Gar accepted, shaking it before coming towards the exit, where you were stationed.

"He's not that bad." He told you, suspicious of your hovering.

Perhaps he thought you wrote examining the flaws in Robin's agility, or noticing how he was almost too cocky and confident with his physical ability. But you weren't. If anything, you'd consider what you were doing as admiring.

"I'm not judging tiger." You smirked at the blush that crept upon the meta human's face, watching as he bowed his head and fled to the hallway.

You enjoyed having that affect upon people. You had learnt a lot from those who had raised you. Your mothers as they were known.

Green eyes darted to you. Jason had spotted you. "Don't you have a circus to run or some plants to grow?"

His voice hunted his irritance. He knew that you had been raised by Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, and he happened to hold it against you.

"Don't you have some blue eggs to squeeze out?" You retorted, coming away from the doorway and walking slowly towards Jason Todd.

"Funny." He simply remarked, not moving as you adventure closer. "What is the reason I am graced with your hilarious presence?"

The stick was still grasped in his left hand, since he had swapped it from his right when aiding Gar to his feet.

"Is it so hard to believe that I'm not here to taunt you or put you down like the others do?"

Hank was a criminal for it. He would purposely anger Jason, often ending in both a verbal and physical fight. You'd have thought that Hank, a grown man, would have more maturity than pick on a kid but apparently not.

Rachel made her occasional comments, whether that be away from his ears or not. Even if they were, Jason was well aware that she had a problem with him, even if it wasnt personal.

Kori never really had an opinion of him whatsoever. She had her own problems and it was visible that he was appreciative that she didn't consider him one of them.

Dawn kept her distance, but still stopped Hank from getting too into bullying the teenager. She was mature, not stupid. She was well aware of what Jason was capable of.

Dick always put him down. Telling him he could do and be better. It may have had the intention of being encouragement but it didn't work that way. It made his life even harder, reminding him that he wasn't the only Robin. Maybe he didn't want to be a copy of the Robin that Dick was. Just maybe he wanted to be his own version.

"Yes." He answered, tightening his grip whilst looking you in the eye the same way an enemy would.

It was stupid this whole ordeal was. Harley and Ivy stole you when you were a child from what you assumed to be a loving mother and hard working father. Yet Jason treated you as if it was your fault that you landed in their custody.

The others were nicer about the situation, possibly because you had distanced yourself from those villainous figures, and you were obedient. The same couldn't be said for Jason. He hated all of the rules that were set.

It was fine for him beforehand, when he had the full run of Wayne Manor. He could do whatever he wanted. But this was a base, a training facility that sheltered you all until you were ready to take on the real action.

"For all the time we have been here, I don't recall once doing such a thing." You smiled at him, but he only grimaced at the expression you put on your face. "Tell me if you do, refresh my memory if it's mistaken."

Jason couldn't hell himself, his eyes were trained to roll whenever you tried to be a smart ass. "Is it just a game to you? Why do you pretend to be so nice to me?"

It came blurting out of his mouth and he realised after. He had never voiced such a thing before.

"I don't pretend Jason." You told him, crossing your arms and looking down. "I've heard how hard your life was before Bruce, and I thought I'd cut you some slack. God knows that you need it."

He locked his lips nervously. He usually tried to present himself as proud and cocky, but it seemed that you had set off that switch in him.

"Do you maybe want to get out of here?" For all he knew, you would shove the offer back in his face or laugh at him for actually believing that you were joking all along. But you didn't. Instead you sent him a warm smile, one that you were clearly containing.

"And where do you have in mind?" You asked, knowing that you could trust him. You were a part of the same team, of course you could. If you couldn't have faith in one another, you couldn't have it in yourself.

Dick stopped Dawn when he saw her. This place, the past that came with it was a lot for them all to take in. But this was Titans Tower, a home for those who could do good with the bad in them.

"Have you seen Jason and (Y/N)?" Dawn wasnt the first person he had asked. He had yet to go around the rest of the tower, Gar had told him he saw you enter the training room just as he was leaving, but it was now empty.

"Maybe you should check the roof." She informed him. It wasnt meant to bring up their history, but when Dawn and Dick had been together, that had been their spot.

The sky was calming, even if it was under the influence of a storm. It was away from the world, and that was something they needed when being a hero.

He nodded at her, clambering up to where the roof was. And then he saw something he had never expected when he laid his feet on the very top surface.

You and Jason. It was a warm day, and the two of you barely noticed. The pair of you were curled into one another, with your eyes shut and your breathing calm.

This was how he wanted to see the two of you. Acting like teenagers instead of vigilantes in training.

The two of you had had such hard lives you deserved a break, and that was clearly what the two of you were having. Except you were sharing the time, seeing each other in a vulnerable state.

It made Dick feel old. He wasn't that old, but still, you kids were all growing up under their care, finding yourselves and each other.

You and Jason entered the dining space, together. Donna raised an eyebrow but remained silent.

Dick smirked at the Robin replacement, noticing how the boy kept stealing glances at you.

"I think you got a little burnt on the roof." Hank laughed at mostly Jason, which made him lower his head and shrink back into himself once again.

"He can't get burnt if he's already smoking hot." You defended him, leaning Hawk and everyone else at the table speechless.

Gar tried to stifle his laugh, but failed. For once he was happy to see you making someone other than him flustered.

And Jason was clearly flustered. His cheeks were glowing coral, and it wasn't due to the sun's beaming rays.

"You don't actually have a thing for him, do you?" Rachel attempted to joke, twirling her fork in her dominant hand.

"So what if I do?" You challenged her. The two of you got along, but you didn't appreciate anyone picking on Jason. It wasnt fair, they weren't even giving him a chance. "Perhaps you'd understand why if you stopped treating him like the shit on the bottom of your shoe."

"(Y/N)." Dick scolded you for your language but you ignored him.

You had let everyone's behaviour towards Jason slide for far too long. Today was the end of it, you'd ensure that. "No." You said to him. "None of you have even given him a chance, except for a few of us. You all look down at him or think of him as some rich spoilt boy. Maybe if you got to know him, or paid the littlest attention to detail, you would see how uncomfortable you all make him. He's human, like most of us in this room. He's done nothing but try and save our asses or follow Bruce's orders yet you still disregard him as the public does to us. Perhaps if you weren't such hypocrites, then you'd see the affect you are having on a teenage boy! "

There was nothing more you had to say, so you left, without eating or looking at Jason once more.

Dick tried to call you back, but instead you went to your room, where you hoped no one would bother you.

A fist lightly tapped your door. "I swear to god if it's you Rachel, I will got to the kitchen on a personal vendetta and grab that fork you were using and stab it into that stupid gem on your forehead."

But when you opened it you weren't met with Rachel. It was Jason.

"I hope you're not gonna stab me in the forehead." He sheepishly smiled, and you could only do the same. It was nice to hear him cracking the littlest of jokes.

You widened the entrance of your room, opening it so that he could enter. After he did, you shut it.

"Are you okay?" You were concerned. You knew the opinions of everyone in that room took a toll on him.

"I am after your explosive rant." He grabbed your hand. And then he frowned. "You must be hungry." He concluded.

"I'm fine." You assured him.
