I always found it strange why some people always said things like "oh yeah I'm an empath! you're aura is bad"

Um, that's not how that works.

An empath scientifically speaking is basically:

Scientists found special group of brain cells that specialize compassion. Basically an empath is just stronger brain bits that pick up other people's moods way easier. The cells allow us to mirror emotions of others we see and such. Which is why if you have a galfriend sobbing over a breakup you might feel a bit sad too. An empath would potentially also cry cause the cells are stronger. The brain is weird and makes us weird and that's what's fun about humanity.

There's different types of empaths too. They're not really "types" but more like, one person stubs their right toe and you feel it vaguely or strongly on your own toe.(this one is fucking weird. Might do more research on it and make another post about it) and another which I think I have but could be totally wrong is something called an intuitive empath. Why it's called "intuitive" I have no god damn clue but it's basically like before (brain bits) and they pick up other people's brain bits. Cause everything is ✨hormones✨ this is why some animals can "smell fear" aka they pick up chemical cues. Research doesn't say intuitive empaths smell shit but they can be like "hey what's wrong?" When the person is neutral cause they "sense" they're upset.

However some places are just "ohhh they're Physic" no. We're not phycic. We're just strong brain bits. Some more so than others. We're not some fantasy superpower.

Edit: I almost forgot. The mirror neurons brain bits is in the bit of the brain called the anterior insular cortex

JaceLuke vs Lucemond

I started the fandome with Lucemond and now I am drifting towards JaceLuke: Here is why

Lucemond

So Lucemond has a lot of posibilities and I started reading it when their war less then 140 storys of it on AO3 now there are amost 3000. I still like it a lot but here is the one thing that bothers me somethimes. A lot of the storys (I guess over 50%) have either rape, voilents or some kind of non-con in it. There is nothing wrong with writing or reading that of course but I am just to soft for it. I want a sweet healty (at least as much as a story basted on the Targaryens can be) relationship and that is sometimes hard to get with Lucemond. It makes sence considering it's a lovestory based on a morderer and his victum. And the incident with the eye. And the fact that Aemond had not the best emotional upbringing or rolemodel when it comes to relationships. Still the point stands: I want my sweet Lucerys to be happy and save. Meanwhile Aemond is just the picture perfect supervilan for a farytail.

That is realtive new from me but I grew to like it, because it's rather sweet. They have a good and healty relationship from the get go. They love each other as brothers and it's easy to built a loving romantic story on that. Jace is used to take care and protect Luke and Luke is used to look up to Jace and go to him for comfort. They would never want to hurt each other. In addition to that is their rather healty emotional upringing. Jace is raised to be responsible and wise. Damn he is like the prince in the fairytail who rescuse the princess (and Luke is the perfect damsel in destress, the princess in the tower).

So yea that is my reason for loving JaceLuke.

Mind you this is not meant to criticize anyone or anyones taste

Rwby hiatus is over! And we start strong with a great sip of "Ruby needs all the therapy in the world" juice.

The opening an the general theme of the first episode, with the fainting and Blake taking charge, is telling us that Ruby is really going to suffer trying to not only find herself but also her place in the team. I will really like to se what Weiss has to say about this. Yang i get that she is going to be the supportive big sister but Weiss has and interesting conmection wit Ruby with the hole " i should have been the leader" cinflict in the first season. It coyld be nice to come back on that.

BEEUNION IN THE FIRST EPISODE I AM HAPPY, YES.

And one thing that everyone seemed to notice is that Blacke started the contact with Yang and not the other way around. That and her position as a "new leader" could mean that we are going to see Blake confidence grow. After Adam and her figth with Yang ( the i need to get away because i only hurt you mentality) she was getting on her feet again. Yes, she had that moment of doubt about killing Adam, but she was getting better in that aspect.

Now, what im really intrigued is with Neo and the parallelism with Alice. Maybe is part of her backstory? Then again, she appears in the intro guiding the girls (maybe meaning that the girls are following her farytail so they cab get out) and she turns into Ruby.

Maybe Neo and Ruby are going to be confronted or find things in common with Alice in the way.

I am really exited with this volume, cant wait to see where this is going!

Why do I like animation?

It all started when I was little watching Disney movies. My favorite ones were the Lion King, 101 Dalmatians, and Spirit. I know... they are all animal movies, but that was what cought my eye compared to the more common princess movies. Apart from the incredible plot, the drawings and the animation itself really amazed me. The way they were able to captured and execute the animals movements depending on the mood or the action taking place in the scene really caught my eye. That was the beginning of my obsession in animation.

As I grew older I also discovered Anime, which compared to the Dysneys movies these were definetly more thrilling to watch and see, specially the action scenes in shonen. The one series that I recall the most is Naruto:

Here is where I fell in love even more with animation, specially when it came to action scenes. If you've seen Naruto then you know that the action scenes were unlike anything that had ever come out before, they were revolutionary in my opinion cause there weren't any action scenes as smooth and well planned as this ones. They were so fluid and fill with power that at the time I was absolutly mesmerized by this series. Thats why Naruto, despite it's flaws, definetly holds a spot in my heart.

Not so long after discovering Naruto, I also discovered another series. This one, unlike the other one, was a western animation (even tho most of this show was actually done overseas, primarly in South Korea): Avatar the last airbender:

I mean do I really need to explain why this series is one of, if not the best executed animated series ever created?

Well... maybe I should explain a little more why? This series, just like naruto, has impecable action scenes, and unlike naruto, the writing as well as the characters are impecable. Remember I said Naruto has it's flaws, well I was primirly referring to the writing, but lets not go into much detail there, after all we are talking about animation, not writing. The animation definitly excelled compared to other western animations and even most Anime at the time, and they did it by recording real martial artist. This martial artist did most of the choreographies that we see in the fighting scenes of the show. The martial art changed depending of the type of bending or fighting style that the character had. This made every character even more different and intresting to watch couse their fighting was so unique compared to the others. This also made the animation incredibly fluid and constant, something that not many shows were able to achieve at the time.

Another film that chenged my view in animation, or rather showed me how diferent art styles can affect the overrall fell of the movie was Song of the sea:

This is a movie that I remember with a lot of appreciation because the overall feel was unlike anything I've seen before. The way they drew the backgrounds, the style of animation, the plot, it all gave me the impression of being in a Farytail. The style of the drawings isn't trying to be realistic in any way, which in this case helps a lot if you take into consideration the plot. It really just gives the impression of being inside a farytail book, something unrealistic, outside of this world. Its a style of animation that in these days many studios try to get away from, and I really apreciate that this studio, Cartoon Saloon, did not. This studio is basiclly bringing back old animation into modern films, something we just dont see this days.
