JONATHAN JOESTAR

He smiles, probably thinking you're messing with him. You spent a lot of time trying to have a baby, and now you're joking about having more than one baby and stuff because of that... aren't you? He might faint if you are being for real.

"Y/n, please don't joke with me on these things... you know how much I care, I would burst into tears if I happened to believe... what do you mean you're serious...?" his voice breaks, his heart feels so full already. Two babies?

Jonathan does burst into tears. It was a miracle for him even realizing you were pregnant, but two babies? Two angels of his growing inside of you? It's too much for his romantic, loyal and devoted heart, and it'll show. He won't stop kissing your belly and constantly caressing it.

He doesn't care whether they're two boys, two girls or a boy and a girl, he knows he'll give them his unconditional fatherly love regardless of their gender. Jonathan is blinded by the love and the happiness the good news made him feel.

Jonathan hopes that both his features and yours will be recognizable in your children's bodies. It would make him feel like the happiest man in the world. He wants to look at them and remember they come from a pure and loyal love.

For the days to come of your pregnancy, he'll keep on referring to you as three people. "Good morning, sweethearts.", he'll whisper every morning, giving two tender kisses on your growing belly, one for every twin. Jonathan feels like he's dreaming.

JOSEPH JOESTAR

As soon as you walk into the room, he's overjoyed already, running towards you. "Your next line is: we're gonna have twins!" you never understood how did he do that, but in that moment you just nodded, letting him pull you in a strong embrace.

Joseph laughed thinking of all the negative pregnancy tests you took in the past. He kept them to remember how much you two tried, and promised he would have thrown them away only once you succeeded. You were even having twins, now.

He panicked quickly when he noticed that all of your attempts were useless, and he even got to the doctor to make sure he wasn't sterile. Poor boy. He cared a lot about giving you babies, and honestly got a good amount of scared.

"I hope at least one of them is a girl, I'd like to name her Holly..." he pouts, caressing your belly. He'll be the happiest regardless of their gender, but having a baby girl has been a dream of his, and he'll keep on hoping until you can find out the genders of the babies.

Joseph dreams of when they'll be born, and he'll be able to hold both of his children at once with his huge and strong arms. He subtly hopes at least one of them will be able to learn how to use hamon. He'd like it to be a family tradition like it is for the Zeppelis. It would be really cool and he would be able to playfully brag about it on Caesar's grave.

"Y/n, but... if you're gonna have two babies in your belly... won't it like... explode? How do you manage to keep them both? What if you start floating like a balloon because of the babies stretching your belly too much?" he knows how to get a laugh from you when you feel bad during the pregnancy.

KUJO JOTARO

At first he's not gonna say anything or look too surprised. Sometimes doctors happen to get these things wrong, he heard of lots of couples who thought they were gonna have twins but then it turned out to be a mistake. [Dora's parents, for example]

Jotaro won't show it, but despite this thought, his heart is pounding at the thought of you two having twins. You had talked about having a baby, but no matter how much you tried, every attempt seemed to be useless. And now you were telling him this.

"Yes... it would be amazing if you were right." he holds your hands. "Let's not get our hopes too up." Jotaro mumbles in a calm tone, while Star Platinum shamelessly exposes its user giving happy "ora"s and an embarrassing amount of kisses on your cheeks.

When you find out that there's no mistake, he will hug you and not let go for a couple of minutes at least. "I don't know anyone else who would so happily carry children of mine in herself. I am grateful, y/n. Really grateful."

You know Jotaro's trying to keep calm and look strong for you to admire him, but you felt his voice trembling and can't ignore Star Platinum slowly summoning itself, sniffling and moving to carefully caress your belly, a sweet and calming smile on its face "Ora...".

He's not sure he's gonna be a good father, even more now that he knows the children will be two and not only one, but Jotaro would never admit his fears. He tends to bottle up every single feeling of his. It would be the right thing to do if you sometimes made him feel like he'll be a perfect dad. He needs it.

HIGASHIKATA JOSUKE

"T-Twins? Like t-two babies? One + one? Me and you? R-Right there?" he'll ask, pointing at your belly with his widened eyes, right under your amused gaze. Josuke is a pure angel, he won't fully realize it for the next twenty four hours.

If you're fine with it, he confesses that if one of them is a boy he'd like to call him Ryohei, his grandpa's name, to properly remember him and everything he did to protect Morioh-Cho. You don't want to say no to him on this. He really cares a lot.

He enjoys having long conversations with your children, you sitting on the couch and him laying on his belly, ear on your own belly. "Mommy and daddy are impatient, here... can't you speed up your birth a bit? I can't wait playing with your hair and styling it in two cute pompadours..."

Talking together, you both decide he won't use Crazy Diamond to calm down your pregnancy pains. You want to fully live your pregnancy without stand powers, and Josuke agrees. He wants to be next to you when it happens, but like a normal boyfriend/husband.

Crazy Diamond still is overjoyed just like its user, when you tell Josuke about the twins. It's eager to help, when you start buying the little beds and proper furniture for the babies, and you won't even have to worry about setting those up, Crazy Diamond will do it by itself even without Josuke telling it to.

As soon as she learns it, Tomoko will invite you by her for a dinner, to celebrate the two angels you're gonna give birth to. She still can't believe her Josuke gave her grandchildren with you, and will personally call Jotaro to inform the Joestar part of the family.

GIORNO GIOVANNA

Since you get along with Mista really well, he'll think it's a joke, and won't listen to you for the first minutes, at least until you show him the papers the doctor gave you that morning, proving you're really pregnant with twins.

He'll stare at those papers for five minutes straight, speechless, smiling. You've been trying for a lot of time. Gold Experience had been caressing your belly several times after you and Giorno made love, to stimulate your body in creating life. And now that you finally succeeded, it's twins.

"I wonder if there's a possibility for them to be stand users... i'll still be willing to keep our babies away from Passione's business." says Don Giovanna, keeping you close. If Mista's task was protecting him, now GioGio's new request is for the gunslinger to protect you.

Since now you know you won't only have one baby, there's much more to buy, and since you're pregnant and Mista can't go away and leave your side because of Giorno's request, the one who has to go shopping for the babies is Giorno himself. Finding a Don buying baby clothes and toys is always hilarious and cute.

GioGio will often panic and call Trish for help. He doesn't want you to think he's not able to handle buying stuff for two babies instead of one, so he has no guts to call and ask for help from you.

He's never had a good father figure. So he can't really say he witnessed good examples of a parental figure to imitate. But he remembers the love in Bruno's eyes. The love of a person who chose to protect his fellow gang members. He'd like his babies to feel with him the same way he felt in Bruno's protection.

Hi guys! As promised to that Anon, I wrote the timelines. I decided to write only the key points though because these are things we already know, and then, I’m sure there are more than a thousand proofs around and people who have already spoken about it. Enjoy.

That same night at the party, Typecast accepted the management’s proposal.

Typo tweeted “LMJ” on January 4, 2017, and then immediately deleted it. First move to create speculation since, presumably, Lauren ‘was’ still with Ludicrous. Shortly thereafter, a blind item about L who was having an affair with a married man came out. On January 10, 2017, Nicole Cartolano posted that picture of Laucy in the snow with a piñata. After wishing her a happy birthday, as we already know, luBYE. On February 13, 2017, there were the first PRren pictures at the Grammy after-party, so that people would start believing the blind item, BUT, making it clear that he wasn’t a married man, but a taken one, and yes, MAN, since Tyred is 14 years older than her, and therefore inculcating the idea that L was really cheating on Luggage. On March 9, 2017, Tymbal posted a picture of them together, coincidentally, the day after he advertised his upcoming album ‘Beach House 3’.

On March 22, 2017, we had ‘Bare With Me’ and Nicole Cartolano’s interview with MTV News. On the 23rd, we had, still very coincidentally and totally unplanned, “no I hate it because it’s invasive, scary, delusional, disrespectful to us both and was never real…Ever”, because, because, SHE DECIDES. NOT US. PERIOD. (sorry, I had to 😂. This is another of L’s tweets dating back to July 2, 2017: “I decide. Not you. Period.”) Joking apart, because she was single and she certainly couldn’t let the fans have hope for her and C, so she tried to kill the Camren ship for the umpteenth time. “Hey, hey, Lo, how’d it go? The day before Nicole’s MTV article and eight days later, Twix posted a series of tweets (21: “Lo” - 30: “You look better on me 👀”, Cuban flag, and “I think she like me 😍”) [👈🏼 ‘Great grammar’ said in Lauren’s voice] which he then of course deleted to make everything more and more mysterious, and thus making people connect and figure out who was that ‘LMJ’ tweeted in January. On April 14, 2017, we had a picture of L with TyPod and his family dating back the night before when they celebrated Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’s birthday, followed by the blurred picture of the 15th of them together at Coachella. On April 18, 2017, Alycia Bella, Tinky Winky’s ex, tweeted “when you get cheated on w a 5th harmony member & all you can do is laugh.”, and then immediately deleted it, thus giving even more confirmation to people that both had cheated, despite Teletubbies denied and defended himself: “been moved on :) no cheating. The same Alycia who complained of being cheated on by Telly for ‘another girl’ during the reality show ‘The Platinum Life’ which aired on October 15, 2017 and that was recorded MONTHS BEFORE.

There were other tweets that Tyronic continued to tweet and then delete (April 1: “I think about you all the time” - April 3: “You my favorite” and “I don’t know what I did to deserve you” - April 7: “Really like what you’ve done to me”), Insta-stories and posts by both, and other public appearances together to increase the public’s curiosity. Such as: 1) Mani’s birthday. 2) August 16, 2017, when 5H did that famous and messy phone interview with The Sun for Dan Wooton’s podcast, one of Salmoned Cow’s well-known puppies friends, during which Dan asked Lauren about his relationship with Twinkly and she replied that they were just vibing. 3) Lauren’s birthday. 4) On September 11, 2017, Lauren posted pictures about the FentyxPuma party, and in one of those posts with pictures of her and Troglodyte, she put the caption with three hearts emojis, thus confirming to people that she and Tipsy were together.

February 2017 was the chosen month for Pukeren to ‘become’ official, confirmed by Typed in an interview at the Power 105.1 FM morning show The Breakfast Club on October 31, 2017, though, so a long time later and when the waters had already calmed down. By saying February, Tyring confirmed the cheatings exactly as it was planned. In another interview with BigBoyTV made on November 2, 2017, Typology showed the interviewees how even the background of his phone was a picture of Lauren. Picture that, by the way, Lauren herself posted 21 days before that by wearing Tijuana’s merchandise sweatshirt, so not even a personal picture that you’d normally expect to see from a real boyfriend.

Let’s move on to competitor number two: Maturely Hushed Matthew Hussey, 06/19/1987. The scammer par excellence (since 2012). The salesman who pretends to be a life coach/dating advice expert by deluding poor women who fall into his bullshit. The charlatan who has an infinity of fraud charges and even a restraining order for stalking and harassment by a woman named Samantha C. of San Diego. [this woman continually talked about the situation on her Instagram account, cheating_matthewhussey. Even Chelsea Briggs liked a picture.]

Ewmila Mattmila: The skit was supposed to start a lot sooner in reality. They ‘met’ for the first time on September 29, 2017, on the set of NBC’s Today show (performance that C dedicated to the Dreamers), but nobody has heard much about it, right? There was only a single Billboard article that did that. Following that meeting, it was supposed to start in October 2017, when they also started to follow each other on IG, but everything was postponed because C’s album was postponed. The album was released on the 12th, and by pure coincidence, on January 11th, 2018, during the interview with Elvis Duran, and COMPLETELY OUT OF THE BLUE, C mentioned Matilda for the first time by saying she was a fan of his. The same Mattress (10 years older than her) who coincidentally was there that day, so a setup for the public to make believe that they’d met that day.

The next day, at the release of the album ‘Camila’, C performed at Good Morning America, and Macaque, again by pure coincidence, had a small slot in the same program. On January 15, 2018, during the interview with Zane Lowe, when he asked if she had someone special in her life at that time, she replied with “maybe”, which was a big yes when she read “I can’t say your name without smiling” just before from her phone notes. On January 22, 2018, on Zach Sang Show, C said that she’s a private person and that she doesn’t like the ‘public thing’ since the Austin fiasco. Another bullshit said to make the public believe that it was the truth and take advantage of the events that would happen shortly thereafter, since, literally 18 days later, on February 9, E! News exclusively posted the first Burpmila pictures on vacation on a beach in Cabo, Mexico.

Charli XCX and C were the opening acts for Taylor Swift’s Reputation Tour from May 8 to October 6, 2018, during which Charli tried to persuade her to do the song by explaining how perfect it was for her. And who knows, maybe even since then they started working on it together since Camila, as she used to do, rewrote almost completely the lyrics to make it more her own. Side note (READ AFTER, SPOILERS): I am aware that most of Giorno’s character behavior is a bit out of hand here, but I wanted to write a darker version of him, aside from that, during the first part he restrained himself from drinking for a long time, it would be logical that he’s a bit out of his mind. Also, reader’s reaction is pretty much based off on logic, and fear. Remember that no one really goes through life expecting their partner to suddenly get sick, keep them away in order to protect them (knowing pretty well what’s happening) and then use them like orange juice.

I wanted to toy with physics theories (was inspired by Kira’s Bites The Dust) and fate, which is a recurrent theme in all JJBA but more noticeable in VA.

Destiny and fate are both different concepts, even if it seems like they are the same. In a way, I wanted to play with both concepts. Honestly, the first part left a lot of work undone (and honestly I’ve noticed the way my skills have improved) and this second part was hard to think and write, both because of GER and for the relationship between Giorno and reader, but then I went for something realistic. We all know that loving someone doesn’t mean losing yourself or hurting them and yourself; and if it happens, then it’s something to think of and work on. It was a bitter end, but sometimes it really be like that and we have to learn which things we shouldn’t do with our partner; Giorno did committed a mistake by hiding all from her, and the way in which he learned that is the most painful, but we all learn like this, don’t we?

No one there is really sure how it happened, nor how it fast is was. There’s certainly a sense that something is wrong, there’s a piece missing, perhaps someone. Giorno is no longer there, and in the room there’s only Jotaro and Mista, trying to stand from the ground, both feeling dazed and confused —and then it clicks, the piece missing, that someone missing aside from Giorno Giovanna, is her.

Star Platinum lifts the sofa from his user, who stands as soon as he can, scanning the room. He seems calm, like that time back at Egypt, when Dio Brando made him act and think fast; the difference of power between those two was clear. And now, it felt like the story was happening again, despite his fear. The power difference between Giorno Giovanna and Dio Brando is also clear, it is possible that Giorno is even stronger than Dio, but Jotaro isn’t sure about this. He doesn’t want to pressure himself into making an assumption he may regret later.

“Guido. That’s your name, right? What happened?”

Mista knocks a chair to the floor, looking at it suspiciously; after this, there is only three chairs standing. “Yeah— it’s Giorno’s requiem. His abilities… I don’t know what he’s capable of, but he’s strong. You’ve heard about Diavolo, right?”

Jotaro nods, tilting his hat down with his finger. “Yare yare daze.”

The door tosses open and there stands Fugo Pannacotta, sweating and clearly nervous.

“Tell me he didn’t escaped.”

Mista looks down at the gun on his hands, verifying the magazine with a puzzled expression that Fugo interprets as seriousness, perhaps anger and worry. “Yeah” the gunslinger says, looking up at Purple Haze’s user. “And he took (Y/n) with him.”

Fugo’s eyes are the size of dinner plates as the words hit him. “What the hell are we doing here, then? We have to do something.”

When Jotaro Kujo stands between the two mafiosos, his hands are on his pockets and his expression holds the same resolve from Egypt and Morioh. “From now on, the Speedwagon foundation will make a secret alliance with Passione, Giorno Giovanna is now a fugitive.”

Fugo frowns, “He’s the boss of the most powerful gang in all Italy, he controls the country from the shadows, and you think being a fugitive will scare him? His contacts can hide him, or even help hide his steps.”

“I never mentioned the police or the government. This is all about us, stand users. It’s not the first time a group of stand users assemble to reach a common goal, and you all know it, given your occupations.”

“What are you trying to say? Are we going to kill Giorno?” asks Mista, number five preparing a bullet.

“If we have to, we will.”

“It can’t be-“ says Koichi Hirose, mouth dry and eyes the size of dinner plates, “when I saw him eleven years ago he was… He was shining with the Joestar will.”

Tilting his hat down for the fifth time that day, Jotaro’s voice sounds deprived of something, perhaps hope. “He’s Dio’s son, what were you expecting? It was clear that he would become the same shit as his father.”

Josuke was trying to keep his mouth shut, that was noticeable for the painful way his jaw was clenched, but Jotaro’s words made him snap, and if his tone wasn’t messy and angry, constipated with his emotions, it was hard. “Isn’t he Jonathan Joestar’s son, too?”

Jotaro freezes.

Koichi’s voice sounds clear in the destroyed room, remains of an empty battle still there, perhaps it was a thought he said out loud, his emotions out of hand. “The Joestar will… Surpassed by the evil of a man long dead.”

“No, no, no.”

Sitting fast with a hot thread of cold sweat running down her spine, (Y/n) can’t see with the darkness surrounding her, but the voice whispering so erratically and desperate is familiar, and the tone used worries and scares her. Darkness has been linked to terror often by humans, since it represents the fear of the unknown. The fear of the dark is something common, but it can go from being just words to be a reality. A reality (Y/n) finds herself suddenly in after feeling a pair of fangs taking her blood; and to make it worst, the fangs belonged to her boyfriend, Giorno Giovanna.

A pang of sadness and anger clutches her chest. “I don’t know if I will be able to forgive him.” She thinks, trying to get her eyes to adapt, but with the lack of light, it almost seems impossible.

“Wryyy.” A whisper, ice cold and exorbitantly threatening resounds through the room and (Y/n) stops, her head spinning on each possible direction her neck can make. And for a moment, silence takes over. Until it happens again.

“W-wryyy.”

“Giorno?”

Silence.

“Giorno, I know it's you. Where are you?”

No answer. With desperation and fear, (Y/n) stands slowly, finding the wall behind her after taking a couple of steps and groping the wall looking for the light switch until a protuberance with circular edges comes in contact with her hand. Her thumb presses the switch and the light appears. A hiss escapes from the blond, who’s hunched in the floor, his nails sinking on his head. Trials of blood running down his fingers and between his palms, staining his face. His jaw opens every now and then to let a whisper escape, pained and guttural. Animalistic, but still trying to maintain humanity on it. Painful, scared. It’s everything he didn’t wanted to be, and the thing that’s happening nevertheless.  

Before she can talk again, Giorno’s broken voice fills the silence, “That man said it. That man knew it.”

“W-who? Who knew what?”

“Pucci. That—“ he coughs, palm against his mouth, pupils blown and sweat running down his back.

Hurrying at his side, she doesn’t get too close before his hand makes a signal for her to stop.

“He said that if I don’t drink, I’ll become a demon.”

(Y/n) freezes, eyes the size of dinner plates, holding tears back.

“Giorno, please, don’t punish yourself like this.”

Giorno’s eyes look at hers, the teal of his orbs is there again, but right around the irises, there’s a halo of burgundy. She’s not sure if he’s becoming a demon, like that man said.

“How do you know that? Who’s that man?”

“He… He said he met my dad. He said that I had to drink soon.” Giorno stops for a moment, noticing he’s starting to stare at her pulse point, and looking at the floor, his voice sounds angry; not at her, but against himself.

“What if he’s trying to use you?”

“Could be,” he says, a little moment of lucidity. “He seemed really adamant about giving me suggestions. I suppose, then, that you’re right, cara. Always so smart.”

Sitting were he made her stop, (Y/n) asks again, nervously thinking about how to make him snap out of it. Despite his behavior now, it is clear that he’s not on his mind.

When he suddenly moves, she jumps back. The look of hurt flashing through his eyes accompanies Giorno’s confession. “You’re afraid of me. Trust me, bella, I don’t want to hurt you. I don’t want you to feel like this, never.”

“Trust you? You want me to trust you after all of this? When this started you didn’t tell me and instead, pulled me away. You treated me like a child. We could have found a better solution for this if you just haven’t pulled me aside.” (Y/n) doesn’t mean it, but her tone is not as strong as she would like it to be and instead, it’s weak. Despite the pang of anger still residing on her chest, the sadness of seeing him like this makes it worse.

They say that love hurts. And sometimes, even if people loved each other, there could still be mistakes that made it seem like love was never there. It takes more than just will to realize that love is supposed to go like that, in a certain way: it is supposed that love is about truth. Sometimes, none of that seemed true.

“I wanted to protect you. But I suppose I was trying to protect myself.”

(Y/n) nods, suddenly realizing that none of this, the reclaims and discussions, will solve anything.

“It wasn’t you the one who drank my blood.”

Giorno shakes his head, smiling sadly. The human color of his eyes is back. “It was me, bella. I was aware of what I was doing— and I know I hurt you; when I asked you out, two years ago, I told you I would protect you. If I can’t protect you from myself first and beforehand, then I don’t deserve you.”

“What are you tr—“Giorno’s gesture asks for silence, ocean eyes holding something she can’t tell. “I know you don’t trust me like you did before. Don’t get so close, please. Help me, (Y/n), help me so I cannot hurt you again.”

“Giorno, you can’t just ask that! You can’t tell me to go away again! There’s something more, it has to b—“

Giorno’s eyes are fixed intensely on her arm, watching with amazement. Realizing this, (Y/n) looks down at her arm, finally feeling the arrow crawling up her arm.

“The arrow choose you.” He says, and then it clicks. “Your will to help me, even after what I did to you is so strong the arrow choose you. Pierce your stand, (Y/n), and fate will be by your side— it’s what you wanted. Take it, cara.”

The Catalyst, (Y/n)’s stand, materializes besides her, gazing at Giorno for a moment and with shaking hands, (Y/n) takes the arrow.

Still, the look she gives to Giorno, who’s still hunched on the floor, hair out of style and tired eyes, makes the don realize how much will he lost once all of this is over.

“I love you, Giogio.”

The sting of the arrow is the last thing she feels and the light emanating from The Catalyst is the last thing both of them see before the endgame.

Awakening suddenly with Mista’s worried eyes on her, (Y/n) doesn’t know why or how, but she’s aware that fate is by her side, gifting her with another opportunity to rewrite the bitter end from another reality.

Rewriting fate. Doubting destiny.

There are plenty ways you can stop a man. However, it’s not sure if the one at three meters in front of her is one, it isn’t sure either if he’s trying to get through her, or if he’s aware of the act of her stand, but it’s sure that he’s not the Giorno she loves.

Gold Experience Requiem doesn’t act: in fact, it doesn’t exist anymore, Star Platinum doesn’t attack; both of their users are looking at her as the arrow shows itself on The Catalyst’s chest.

“What did you do, (Y/n)? we are in the same situation from befo—“

“Indeed, you are experiencing the rewrite of a succession of events in your universe. Your memories will be removed if my user desires so.” The Catalyst’s voice sounds so much like her, modified with a pitch of reverb.

Mista’s mouth opens and his eyes shift nervously from her face to Giorno, the gunslinger points at the don, and when Jotaro looks at him, Giorno is kneeling, a hand on his chest and the other on his forehead, forcing his nails to tear the skin open and draw out blood, (Y/n)’s heart sinks on her chest and with a gesture, Mista and Jotaro are dismissed.

“Giorno.” The Catalyst Requiem disappears, and as it vanishes, the arrow hits the floor, making Giorno freeze, startled with his senses now enhanced; the sound, that by human ears should be minimal, is now higher for the now vampire.

“Please,” he chokes out, voice raspy and needy, “don’t let me hurt you again, let me die. Let me die and everything will be alright.”

With tears pricking at the corners of her eyes, (Y/n) shakes her head no, picking the remaining of a wine bottle and once making sure it’s sharp enough by tasting it in a curtain, she looks for the glass he was using. Giorno’s eyes never leave her form. Even if he’s still dazed, pained and oh so deeply mad and sad, he’s still capable of noticing the way she’s fighting for both of them. And it feels like not only did she ask for an opportunity to rewrite everything, but to show him his value. A value he’s not capable of seeing, but she does.

There’s suddenly a glass in front of him; the metallic smell reaches his brain before his eyes can register what it is, and the desperation he was trying to contain starts again; the insistence on his brain makes him look at the ground.

“Please” she coos, desperate as well, but trying hard to sound welcoming. “Take it, accept this, Giogio. Don’t push me away, let me help you. Trust me.”

Looking up, Giorno’s eyes are divided between teal and burgundy. Eyes are often presumed to be the windows of the soul, and if they really are, then his soul is still trying to fight against the nature inherited from Dio Brando and the human side from Jonathan Joestar; he’s not aware of it, but in her eyes, he’s not what Dio Brando or Jonathan Joestar were. Giorno Giovanna is his own person; and perhaps he knows this, but with the current state his mind is in, his thoughts can be screaming a million things.

Helping the glass to his lips, Giorno’s eyes start turning red once the salty taste of the blood reaches his lips.

And then it’s gone.

Gulping the lasts drops of blood down, Giorno stops shaking and the teal color of his eyes comes back. His mind stops screaming, but he’s shaking. (Y/n) kneels, circling his shoulders with one arm while the other remains at her side, the cloth she used helping to stop the bleeding. Giorno can still smell the blood, but his senses seem to come back to a normality he doesn’t know he can call that, but the only normality in the whole situation is the way she presses her head against his neck. Holding her against his chest, Giorno finally let’s himself relax; a waterfall of tears starts running down his face, realizing that he didn’t lose her, but aware that the trust in their relationship needs to be worked on.

“I’m sorry.” He whispers, broken.

“I’m sorry, too. We hurt each other, and while we accept it and work on it, we’ll be okay.”

Giorno hums.

The Legend of Dragoon Part 2 - Platinum Shadow

Since Doel told us to venture to Tiberoa for answers, it's time we got a change of environment! No more Serdio and war~ but crazy princesses! Hmm, was Princess Emille a fake? Hmm, so the Moon that Never Sets is called that because it's not affected by time such as day or night, and when it glows red after 108 years, a Moon Child appears, but I guess so does the Black Monster? Btw, Albert is such a dork that it's so cute lmao, I loved how when they were talking about how Haschel's daughter and Dart's mother are both called Claire, and whilst Rose was saying it was impossible for them to be related considering their appearances, Albert starting going on a rant on an analysis of the possibility and how their skulls were different lmao. And omgg it's kinda crazy, but I never thought about the possibility of a Dragoon Spirit getting stolen by thieves! Sad that I can't level up my Dragoon level now lol. It's kinda crazy to think that such a beautiful green and flowery town like Donau has been taken over by bandits... I guess it's understandable why Lynn (Mayor's son) would go to the Gehrich Gang's Hideout to persuade them to get lost, but seriously, that's so dangerous and highly unlikely to work! Ohh okay, the gang hasn't taken over the city yet, just very hostile and leaving their people there I guess? Meru is such a happy ball of positivity and beauty loll. I used to always think she was super pretty and cute though, she's also really strong! I wasn't too fond of her Additions but I guess her cuteness makes up for it, and she's a pretty hilarious person lol. I see... Princess Lisa knows through astrology that Princess Emille is somehow related to the Gehrich Gang and it even told her to never hand over the moon, probably meaning the Moon Dagger heirloom that will be passed on to Princess Emille soon. Btw, lmao at how well Meru and Haschel get along, they're both like kids getting excited over the royal dinner feast hahaha. It's kinda crazy though, if Lisa can see so many things through astrology, I guess there is a good reason as to why this whole town worships the stars so vehemently.

I honestly didn't expect/completely forgot Gehrich was Haschel's former disciple that got kicked out for not using martial arts with a good heart. It's kinda saddening that he ended up a leader of bandits, but I guess at least in the end, Haschel found him and was able to make him understand that the Rouge School arts weren't to be used for things like this... I didn't realise that Kongol actually followed Emperor Doel for a good reason! Emperor Doel told him that he wanted to make a land where all species could be equal, and Kongol believed in his strength in being able to bring that, but now that he was defeated by Dart, he wants to understand Dart’s strength now. I didn't think that the humans actually killed all the Gigantos aside from Kongol in this place/home of the Gigantos. You would think that since they were oppressed by Winglies before, they would understand the pain of losing people, but no, they killed them... I feel sorry for Kongol, he just wants to fight against bad people like the ones who killed his family and friends... Speaking of Kongol though, him saving the gang by holding that super heavy stone axe/pillar that came from that humongous status was crazy! He even flung it away so easily! I'm not sure how we defeated him before considering he had strength like that lol!

Aww so nice to see Lynn and Kate's wedding! Also really cool to know that whilst Dart and party were gone, the Mayor and all the adults rose up and went against the bandits in town and successfully kicked them out! Nice to know that Dart inspired them to do their best to protect their own town. Shana catching the bouquet was cute. Omggg, I can't remember but dang, you get Kongol's Golden Dragoon Spirit at the rip off market seller in Lohan! It's 1000G which is easy to get by now but wow, apparently you can get to near the end of the game without even realising this is where you get it! Which kinda sucks tbh lol. Apparently there were hints but it must have totally flown off my head because I had no idea lmao. I honestly can't believe King Zior is even allowing these bandit friends of Emille to be knights for the ceremony, like is he crazy or is he a fake? Or does he need to allow all this to save the real princess? Dodging the bandit guards to get to Princess Lisa and the real Princess Emille aren't too hard, but I do admit it's annoying haha. Wow, no wonder it was practically impossible to find the real Princess Emille, she was locked inside a magical dimension within the portrait of herself in her room! Wow, boy am I glad I stocked up on Healing Breeze because Lenus aka fake Princess Emille does crazy damage to all! She has so many turns as well! Maybe it would have been easier if my Albert actually had the SP to turn into a Dragoon though lmao, but still, she's pretty nuts haha. I knew I didn't remember wrong, Meru is a Wingly just like Lenus (since Lenus could tell), but I guess it's understandable of her to hide it from the party for now. Hmm, so after the defeat of the Winglies, the three countries Serdio, Tiberoa and Mille Seseau were formed, and the surviving Winglies sent a divine object of the moon as a proof of peace. Anyway, I guess King Zior was too blinded by his love for his daughter Emille that he didn't care what she was like to realise it was a fake lmao.

Aww it's so cute to run around with Shana on the Queen Fury. Lmao at the chopping vegetables mini game, legit thought it would give me something good after winning but it gives me 1G LOL. All my hard work for a scrap lol. I love how enthusiastic and hardworking everyone on the ship is though! They're so passionate about their work whether it be cleaning or shoving fuel etc, they're really trying their best to catch up to Lenus (and get the Moon Dagger back). Sometimes I feel sorry for how blunt Shana is about her feelings towards Dart but he's just constantly thinking about the Black Monster etc. I guess it's understandable though, he probably thinks that if he starts thinking of stuff like romance, he wouldn't be able to fully focus on the war and everything. I really enjoy talking to all the different sailors with the different characters though! It's so cool how some of the dialogue changes haha! Lmaoo at Meru annoying Dart and Shana to play with her because she's bored, yet when you talk to her with Rose (and she tells Meru they can train together), Meru says she'll behave hahahaha. I wonder what made Rose change if she says that she used to be as innocent as Shana, only caring about her love and hoping that it'll bear fruit? Did Rose's partner die and that's why she tells Shana to never let Dart go? Omg..to think that 25 years ago, Haschel's harsh training caused Claire to accidentally end up killing her training partner since she tried her best to fulfil her father's expectations of her as the heir to the Rouge School... He shouted at her to get out of his sight and lost her forever... It's quite terrible... Lmao at Kongol just ignoring Meru if you talk to her with him hahahah. LOL at Meru throwing a pillow at Albert! Guess he's the easiest to bully even though he’s a king lol. Hahahah I love how everyone sympathises with Dart being the babysitter of Meru when she forces him to run around with him on the ship lol. The Phantom Ship looks really cool but scary at the same time! It's kinda cool how ghost knights protected Shana from skeletons. Okay, that mini game with the chest is so not worth the time lol! It's so hard to guess! Anyway, I checked the rewards and it really only gives you crappy stuff that I don't care about lol, don't need Ultimate Wargod because I can do my Additions just fine anyway lol. So, is the princess of Mille Seseau that this whole ship tried to protect from the Black Monster 18 years ago actually Shana? Rose is probably the Black Monster, but is Zieg the first Red Eyed Dragoon that she supposedly fell in love with but couldn't save for some reason? Was Rose a part of the Dragon Campaign 11,000 years ago? Her and her comrades seemed to be fighting Virages or something? They all died and Zieg turned into stone? I guess you can see why Rose is so attached to Dart if they're so similar. But I wonder, did the Black Monster appear because Rose wasn't able to control the insanity of the Dragoon due to her grief of losing her friends or something?

Lmao when Rose said she'd annihilate all the monsters to protect Pete and his mother (people who saved Dart and Rose after they fell off the Queen Fury when the Phantom Ship sunk). Hahahaha Pete was so funny to say that Rose should confess to Dart because he saw her take care of Dart lovingly in the cave. Hahahah I love how you can go to the hot springs in Fueno and the person soaking in it screams lmaoo. Aww it's so cool and cute how the merchant for the item shop and the weapon shop are the same person! He just goes upstairs to talk to you if want weapons lmao. I love how happy and hyper Meru is to see Dart and Rose alive haha. Aww, it was really sweet of Dart to hug her since she was crying and he felt bad for worrying her. Lmaooo at Meru, Haschel and Albert peeking in on them though lol!!! I think it was really cute how when Dart caught them, they all ran away, but Meru came back to close the door for them lmao. Honestly though, despite how much of a damsel in distress Shana is, I think she really warms up to you as a character. Sure, she's weak and everything, but she's just really sweet and normal, it's hard to not like her. She has that warmth to her that the others lack. Ohh, so Lenus had the Sea Dragoon Spirit! Anyway, she was so much stronger before! Her Dragoon form is so much easier to manage lol, she should have just stayed in her Wingly form. Poor girl though, she gave her life for Lloyd but I honestly doubt he really appreciates it. I think Dart was really touched when Shana ran to protect him when Lenus tried to kill Dart with the last bit of her strength though, it was kinda cute. Lmao at Meru being so happy for truly being a part of the gang as a Dragoon now though haha. Aww it's so cute how Albert was so enamoured with Princess Emille. I can understand though, she's really graceful, beautiful and kind, who wouldn't like her?! But I think the whole family is great! I love how King Zior didn't care about Dart and them not being able to retrieve the Moon Dagger because he believes that it's just a symbol and isn't as important as them being the heroes that saved all the town's from the terror of the Sea Dragon and the fake Emille. Awww, it's so cute how Dart has finally realised his feelings for Shana but he keeps getting interrupted when he wants to tell her lmao. Shana is so brave though, she totally and straightforwardly told him again that she loves him and that it doesn't matter if he views her as a baby sister. I hope they get together soon! Lmao at both Haschel and Meru being kids stealing food from the kitchen hahaha. Albert bonding with Emille in her room was so adorable lmao. Rose chuckling to herself thinking about things was so cuteee, I love how soft she is becoming now. Kongol training in the training centre being happy that he's got friends of different species now was so adorable too. Aww, Princess Emille is willing to wait for Albert to come back from his journey! They're so sweet! Aww he finally got to tell Shana that her wish is the same as his whilst she was wearing a beautiful dress~~ Such a cute and happy banquet!

Overall, this chapter was really nice. I loved the whole Wingly introduction to the story, getting to know more about Rose, but also interacting with Meru and Kongol! I really love how cute everyone is and how different they all are, but how nice they all work together. Btw, I farmed Shana's Dragoon level to 5 to see her skills and dang, White Silver Dragon does damage and heals you to full life! Pretty strong! It was so easy to farm it on the Phantom Ship btw, since you have access to a save point, resting and constant monsters lol. I just wanted to see it before Miranda came along because I remember not liking her lmao. I think the best thing about this chapter is seeing everyone’s growth as a character, mainly Shana and Rose because Shana solidifies her resolve to be beside Dart no matter what, whereas Rose is warming up to everyone (especially Dart) whether she likes it or not. Another cute thing I loved to see was Albert finding his love Princess Emille, they’re both so wonderfully graceful and I find it adorable how Princess Emille loves listening to Albert when everyone else thinks he talks too much in a long-winded way hahaha. I also really liked the Queen Fury part because it really helped to understand everyone’s worries as well as what they’re searching for on this journey, it just made me understand them a bit more individually and I really enjoyed that. Now I feel super bad for hating Kongol as a kid when I was young just because he was ugly LOL, I was such a vain kid! Kongol is like such an innocent, pure and kind guy, I love him lol. Technically though, I love all the characters already haha.

Karina and Jotaro

Karina doesn’t have actually a very good relationship at first with him. Also, being called noisy b!tch from time to time doesn’t help.

Joseph and Esther would scold him for that. And even Karina tries once to scare him with a little of Hamon, but Star Platinum was faster than her lol.

Still, they both know about the strengths of the other and respect that. Also, she started to respect him more after the events with The Lovers, when she saw that he actually cares about his family.

During the events of DiU, since both of them ‘calmed down’ a bit, their relationship was way better. Still not the best tho.

In the nobody dies AU, when Kari knew about Joseph and Caesar, she couldn’t help to say that what a pain was that this rude brat was somehow now her annoying half-cousin.

Karina and Joseph

Due to their similar characters they got along almost immediately. They’re the big babies dorks of the gang tbh.

They are always joking about a lot of things. Sometimes he jokes about how close to each other she and Avdol walk, and then she remembers him the towel incident and says that not everyone is as perv as he is.

Also, Karina usually remembers him how old he looks cos he stoped with  his Hamon training.

Joseph is kind of protective with her; in canon cos he thinks he owes Caesar at least that, and in the nobody dies AU cos he knows that Caesar would kill him if something happens to her.

In the nobody dies AU, they got even closer to each other. Joseph was very happy when Karina’s and Caesar’s relationship improved, and usually likes to tease both of the tsun tsun Zeppelis at once, like when he takes photos of them when they fall asleep together.

Also, he really enjoys taking care of Kari’s and Avdol’s kids. Especially he likes to teach Nassif some tricks to scare his mother.

Karina got attracted to him since the first time, and when knowing him more and more, she ends up falling in love.

Since he is used to Joseph, Avdol was the one who first know her actual self under her noisy and bubbly shield.

When Avdol was injured by Hol Horse, she stayed with him until she made sure that he was okay, and then she reunited with the rest of the gang in Karachi.

During that time she was taking care of him, she confessed to him. Actually, not in purpose, cos she thought he was unconscious. Also, they have their first kiss and their first time ( ◡‿◡ *)

While escaping from High Priestess, they both were diving holding hands since Karina was the only one who couldn’t communicate with the others via stand and he was worried.

During the fight against N'Doul, Karina ended up injured cos she run towards Avdol when he was attacked.

In the nobody dies AU, they got married on summer of 1989, a few weeks before Rosa was born.

They actually got along well almost right away.

Karina’s nickname for him is ‘Nori’.

Usually, Karina ask him when she has some trouble with English, since both of them don’t have it as first language and it would be kind of shameful ask someone like Joseph or Esther whose first language is English.

During the fight against Death 13, since it was in a dream, that was the first and last time Karina could actually see the other’s stands sadly she won’t remember anything after waking up :’), and said that Hierophant Green was the prettiest.

In the nobody dies AU, they get along even better after the events in Egypt, with regular phone calls, especially after Kak and Hana get together.

Karina and Polnareff

They didn’t have the best first meeting ever. Karina basically stated that a spanish and a french will never be friends.

Little by little both of them learn the good qualities of the other, and to trust each other.

They still argue from time to time but mostly mutually teasing than real arguments.

After the events of SDC, Polnareff was the one who contacted Karina for telling her about Avdol’s death. He apologized to her a lot of times, but she was so shock when she heard it that she just droped the phone and started crying.

In the nobody dies AU, he is the best man at Avdol and Karina’s wedding. He was the one who cried the most at it too besides Kari’s dad lol.

When Karina met her, she was v nervous cos she haven’t have a friend before, so she tried to start a girly conversation with her and ended up asking about her bra size in front of everyone. *Facepalm*

The times that they share a room and Esther stays up late, Karina’d use the Koala technique aka hugging her from behind for bothering and trying to persuade her to go to bed. Rarely works tho.

Esther is usually the one who tries to stop Kari and Pol when they start bickering.

During their reunion in DiU. they both felt kind of awkward cos Esther felt guilty about Avdol’s death and Kari felt bad that Esther couldn’t have children when she can, but after talking about that, they got along as well as before.

In the nobody dies AU, she is the bridesmaid at Avdol and Karina’s wedding.

At the wedding, she was the one who realize how Karina was hiding how tired she was due to her pregnancy, so she took her to her room to rest a bit.

Karina met Hana when Kakyoin, Avdol, and her were hospitalized after the fight against N’Doul.

The first time she saw her was when she was regaining consciousness, and the first thing she thought was that she was dead and was seeing an angel. She wasn’t that injured, but she’s a drama queen.

She stayed there as much as Kakyoin, so she could knew her a little more.

Hana and Kak were the first ones who knew about Karina’s pregnancy.

At Karina and Avdol’s wedding, Hana was the one who catched the bouquet. (✿◕‿◕✿)

Karina was happy to finally have a, as she claimed, normal friend, referring about that Hana can’t see stand either.

Also, Eileen and Kari’s kids became friends right away.

Chapter One ‘Made in Heaven’

-March, 2012, Cape Canaveral, Florida

  ‘The New Moon’ is to occur within the next day or so. The world has suddenly began to accelerate at an increasing pace. Night and day started to feel like minutes passing by. The group comprised of ‘Green Dolphin Street Prison’ inmates Jolyne Kujo, Hermes Costello, and Narciso Annasui accompanied by marine biologist Jotaro Kujo and mysterious child Emporio Alnino are all standing in the on the rooftops of the Kennedy Space Center. They are confronted and attacked by Father Enrico Pucci and the latest evolution of his stand, ‘Made In Heaven’. Emporio makes the quick decision to pull out the ‘Ghost Gun’ from his stand, ‘Burning Down The House’, and fire at Pucci. “It’s no use Emporio! Bullets won’t hit him!” screams Jolyne. “No, Jolyne! I didn’t aim for him, I aimed for the wall of the building across from us!” Emporio states as he pulls out a bullet with one of ‘Kiss’’ stickers on it. “Hermes put a sticker on the bullet! There are two bullets right now!” Emporio grabs on to the others along with the bullet in his hand. “Don’t let go of each other!” Emporio screams as they are all flung away from the building mere seconds before Pucci could strike. He wastes no time at all and instantly gives chase to the now airborne gang.

“It’s him! He’s following us on the ground! Because ‘Kiss’ is a stand, its motions aren’t sped up like everything else!” shouts Hermes. Annasui quickly thinks up a solution to help them defeat the priest. “Emporio! Put another sticker on the next bullet and fire it! Move towards the marshes! Head towards the ocean! If our surroundings are the ocean… there’s one way we can kill him!” Hermes hands Emporio another sticker and he loads the gun. “The priest is already ahead of us!!” exclaims Hermes as she spots Pucci rushing towards the entrance building. “He’s climbed onto the roof!” “Change directions with this next bullet, Emporio! To the ocean! Go towards the marshes!” Emporio fires the bullet at the marshes and they are all flung towards the ocean as Pucci was about to reach them. The priest leaps off the building and catches up with them instantaneously. “He… he’s coming after us again! He’s too fast…!” says the terrified Hermes.

“Listen… He might be able to move freely in this ‘accelerated time’, but he still only has one stand! And its power is probably only above average! He has no choice but to pick us off, one by one. That’s where we have the chance to beat him down! The moment he goes in to kill me…” Annasui says as he turns to Jotaro, “Mr. Jotaro… I’ll give you a ‘signal’. When I do, stop time immediately, and kill that fucker…! The timing for stopping time should be right when his attack hits me.” The gang all looks at Annasui with astounded expressions. “All right…? Don’t stop it before he hits me. Do it after… this is all going to happen quickly! The timing is the most important part! Grasping the timing is crucial! And to do that, we need your ‘Star Platinum’. Both Jotaro and Jolyne acknowledge Annasui’s plan. Hermes and Emporio are still trying to register what he had just said. “Wh… what are you going to do? I… I don’t get it…! What are you saying!?” asks the bewildered and dimmed Emporio. “Annasui… It’s a good idea, but… even though Pucci declared that you’re first on his list, he might not act on his words… logically thinking, I should be the one he should dispose of first.” Jotaro says in rebuttal. “No… my ‘Diver Down’ is still in your body, protecting you, like before. Not just you… in Jolyne, and Emporio, and Hermes, too! In this proximity , my stand can phase inside everyone at once… so, no matter who Pucci attacks first… My Diver Down will take the first blow.” claims Annasui with a stern demeanor as Hermes and Emporio give worried expressions. “And that ‘signal’ should be transferred to you through the sensations from my stand. Do you understand? You have to stop time after he deals the next blow to finish me off!” “Annasui, you… are you going for a draw?!” asks Hermes as Jolyne begins to worry about the situation more. “N… no way! His next attack will definitely kill you!” exclaims Emporio.

Annasui just smirks. “Maybe. But maybe I’ll be able to signal before the blow reaches my vitals… I’ve been having good luck recently… right, Emporio? Ever since I got out of prison, I’ve managed to stay alive… If I can just stay alive, keep this trend… then maybe I’ll ask Jolyne to marry me. Heh, heh… heh…! ...Or, you know, something like that…” Annasui says desperately to make the situation a bit lighter. “All right.” Jolyne says agreeingly. Jotaro and Annasui are flabbergasted with Jolyne's comment. “All right. Annasui… ask me… I’m not saying this because I’m despairing over this situation… Your plan… it still has hope. It’s not darkness that drives you… Even if there’s only one path that we can take, if there’s a hint of hope, then that’s the right path.” Jotaro and Annasui are still speechless from Jolyne’s confession, but Hermes finally breaks the silence as she shouts, “There he is! He’s already on that rock!” Pucci had finally gotten ahead of them and was preparing for an attack. Emporio fires the gun once more and they are sent hurtling towards the water. “Huddle closer!! Comes towards me!” demands Annasui to group the gang together again.

They start seeing something zipping past them at the surface of the ocean, creating great ripples and waves in it’s path. It was Pucci. “He’s going around to the right! H… He’s coming!” Jotaro assesses his surroundings and says “I see… If we’re surrounded by water, because of the waves, it’s easier to see where he’s moving.” “Not yet, Mr. Jotaro…! Don’t stop time yet…! If he gets away, it’s all over! We have to grab him! You have to feel my signal!” Emporio looks up to the dark, gloomy sky to see the clouds quickly flowing past them. “W… Wait a second…! What…!? The clouds, in the sky…! They’re moving really fast, like rockets…! And… what’s going on…?!” A light arises from the horizon, it’s the sun. “The eastern sky is already light! What?! It’s too fast! One hour was supposed to be about two or three minutes… It should have taken at least twenty to thirty minutes for the sun to rise again! No way! The sun is rising at an incredible speed!” Emporio exclaims as the sun ascends fully over the ocean horizon.

Jotaro rolls up his sleeve to see that his wristwatch hands have sped up plenty, as if they were the rotor blades of helicopter in flight. Everyone is terrified by what is happening as they stand in the Atlantic Ocean. “Is time going even faster now?!” Hermes shouts. “I...I can’t see the movement of the waves! The tide is going way too fast! I can’t tell how the priest is moving!” The gang prepares for any incoming attacks for they are all fearing the inevitable. Jolyne calls out her stand, ‘Stone Free’, Hermes summons Kiss, and Emporio loads his ghost gun. “Wh… Where is he planning to attack from!?” screams Hermes. “Get ready! Mr. Jotaro, not yet! Not yet! Wait for my signal!” At that moment, Annasui starts to feel intense pain coming from his chest. He quickly looks down to see that a hand has been forced through his body, this was the priest’s attack! Jotaro quickly identifies the attack and activates his ability, ‘Star Platinum The World’. “Now! Stop time--” Everything in the world suddenly freezes except for Jotaro. He brings out Star Platinum to grab the attacker’s arm. “I’ve got him! Take this, Father Pucci--”  But before he can land the punch, he notices something. “H… He used Jolyne’s stand to…!” Pucci had forcefully moved Jolyne and punched through Annasui’s chest using her stand.

The elevator suddenly drops from the fifty second floor to the first. All the passengers inside are on the ground, vomiting from the instant movement. Elsewhere, a mangaka (manga artist) is trying to work on his panels. “It’s my assistant’s fault! I’m the number one mangaka! There’s no way that I could only have drawn one page in an entire night! There’s no way! No way!” He dips his pen in a capsule of ink. “Ahhhh!!! The ink on the pen dries before I can bring it to the paper! What am I supposed to do?!” The mangaka proceeds to call his publisher. “Yes, hello?! Huh?! There are mangakas who can still make the deadline? Wh, Who the hell is that?! Who the hell can… Rohan Kishibe…” In another part of the world, a family is at the hospital to see their grandfather’s final moments. “He just passed away.” says the doctor. The family starts sobbing, “Grandpa!! Grandpaaa! Waaah!” “Ugh! It… It stinks!” the grandmother claims. Everyone goes running out of the room as the grandfather’s body rapidly deteriorates and emits an awful odor. “Grandpa’s already rotten! Aghhhh!!!”

Birds all over the world are still flying at their natural speed. So are the butterflies, and other insects. Sometimes cats will be unable to land right and hit their head or twist their ankles, but there are no cases of flowers blooming and wilting at unbelievable speeds. “All right? I have a cup here in my hands. As long as I have it in my hands, even if I shake it, nothing out of the ordinary happens. But once I let go of it…” The man lets go of the glass cup and it’s instantly shattered on the floor, as if it were in a comic, but the panel where it shows the object falling was erased. “See? You didn’t see even see it fall! Before you realize it, it’s already broken and shattered on the floor! This is definite proof that time has ‘accelerated’! Everything has sped up, except movements of living organisms!” claims the man. “But you might just be imagining things… I’m a physicist, but no astrological signs nor mathematical evidence exists that time is indeed moving faster!” “I’m imagining things!? Anyone with half a brain can see that it becomes lunchtime in a matter of seconds!” shouts the man in rebuttal. “We recorded everything with a speed gun and all readings were normal!” the physicist calmly states. “No one can even drive cars or ride trains anymore, and sushi chefs are complaining that the fish go bad before they can even make the sushi!” the man screams. The host of the talk show finally cuts in, “Well, unfortunately we’re going to have to cut to the commercials.” “Hey, wait…!” the man demands, “Always with the commercials! Do you really think that now’s a good time?! What the hell do you guys think you’re doing, huh?!” “Television is nothing without commercials.” the host says. “It’s the other way around, idiot!!! And you call yourself a journalist?!” the man shouts in an angry manner. The host makes a snarky remark, “Our priority is to broadcast legit news…!”

Suddenly, time stops. Ocean waves are frozen in place. “Annasui…” Jotaro mutters. He glances behind Jolyne to see the culprit, Father Pucci. “He used Jolyne’s stand to attack Annasui! I was a ‘step’ too late…! Only ‘four more seconds’! If I don’t finish him now, he’ll just hide again in the increased speed of time…! Once time starts moving again, we’ll be finished! I have to get to him while time is still… Only ‘three more seconds’!” Jotaro climbs his way towards Pucci. “‘Two more seconds’!” Something seems odd, as if something changed during this stopped time. Jotaro looks above Jolyne where the priest is and sees a volley of knives aimed straight towards her. One knife has already entered the base of her neck. “Arghhhh!!!” screams Jotaro. “Knives!! While he was falling…! The priest has already thrown them! Just like DIO had once done…!” Jotaro remembers his fight against the curse of the Joestar family, ‘Dio Brando’, back in 1989. That was the toughest fight Jotaro had ever been in to date. Muhammad Avdol, Noriaki Kakyoin, Iggy, they were allies he had lost in that battle. Jotaro wasn’t going to allow himself to meet them just yet.

Jotaro moves up towards Pucci, while pulling out a book from his jacket pocket. The book had one of Kiss’s stickers on it. He placed the book above Jolyne’s head and continues onwards. “Hermes has a lot of potential. Thankfully she gave me that sticker beforehand. I truly love Jolyne, I do. I know she wanted me to be around when she was a child, I wanted that too, but everything I did was for her. Now I have to save the world, no, the universe, for her. ‘One more second’. Jotaro summons Star Platinum once again and hits Pucci with a barrage of punches while shouting “Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora!!” Before he can get a finishing blow off, time resumes. Impact craters start to form on Pucci as he is sent flying upwards. The knives go straight for Jolyne, but the book doubles due to the sticker and it blocks a majority of the knives. A knife plunges into Jolyne’s neck while the other remaining knives hit her near the stomach. Stone Free is deactivated and both Annasui and Jolyne fall into the water. “Hermes, Emporio! Take Jolyne to the shore! Call the ‘Speedwagon Foundation’!” “What about Annasui?!” Emporio asks. “Leave him here! Go!” Hermes and Emporio pick up Jolyne’s body and start heading towards Kennedy Space Center.

Jotaro picks up Annasui and carries him on his back. “I won’t let you die, not yet! Pucci may be injured, but he can still attack!” Behind the two lies the priest in the ocean waters. “I… I have to get up… My r… ribs are broken and my skull is cracked… Jotaro is waiting for me… Wh… When I get up, he’s going to finish me.” Pucci looks up to the sky to see the clouds slowing down. “N...No! My body is sh… shutting down… I have to get to the shore, if I don’t I’ll drown. I have to get to the shore, so I can keep Made in Heaven running. I have to go for Jotaro’s ankle. I… If I cut his ankle, he will trip and won’t be able to catch me.” Pucci slowly rises from the water, bloodied and battered. He activates his stand and zips towards Jotaro. He slices his ankle and Jotaro stumbles. “Star Finger!” Jotaro shouts as Star Platinum’s index and middle finger extend to incredible lengths and stabs Pucci in the leg. Pucci falls into the water screaming in pain. “B… Bastard! How did you know I was coming!?” “Annasui’s not fully unconscious, his Diver Down’s still active. You can’t hurt me Pucci. You already lost.” Jotaro claims.

“Th… The Joestar bloodline drew strength from their pride and courage to conquer their fate… Y… You damn Joestars… I cannot let Lord DIO lose, not again…” Pucci mutters to himself. “What you have done is despicable. I feel no ounce of remorse towards you. Finishing you off by beating you to death would leave a bad taste in my mouth. If you come at me, I’ll just throw Star Platinum at you. What will it be? Being beaten to death… or drowning in your own sorrow, your own mistakes?” “ Heh… Jotaro, you are just doing this for your family… I am doing this for God! I was placed on this Earth to fix the Lord’s mistakes… To wipe this planet clean, to start a new… Caring about a bad taste in your mouth or living with no regrets… That kind of reasoning is about as compelling as something like having rat shit smeared on your walls… That will be your demise! I wish to keep those thoughts locked out. Within my mind is just one true thought. Just one. To shape a new world in DIO’s vision. And how I do it… Does not matter!” Pucci suddenly whips a small wooden cross into Jotaro’s eye. “Arrghhhh!!!” Pucci smirks, “Lord DIO told me about this trick, blinding your enemies. Maybe he will teach me more in the new universe. Time to die, Jotaro Kujo!” Pucci goes in for a strike against Jotaro. Jotaro closes his bloodied eyes and sends Star Platinum forward. Star Platinum and Made in Heaven’s fists collide together, locking each other in place. Star Platinum’s fist starts to crack open, releasing blood from Jotaros hand. Pucci grins, before having his hand rip open. “What!?” Screams Pucci in disbelief. Star Platinum goes in for a finishing blow. “ORA!!” He shouts as his fist goes through Pucci’s stomach and out the other side.

The priest falls into the water, coughing up blood while his internal organs spill out from his abdomen. “Pucci, You let your passion for DIO consume you. He tamed you with his devious charisma. That is why you failed.”

Six Mobile Games with Excellent Expansions

Even the most long-form mobile game can be viewed as disposable without post-release support. Whether it patches, content drops or genuine ‘expansion’ content, a game that gets ignored by developers is a game that gets ignored by the players.

But there’s plenty of contention about what this should look like - The Trese Brothers have a long history of supporting their games for free for years after it launches, as Star Traders: Frontiers has proven. Others try to release smaller content drops through paid-for IAPs, some good, some bad. If you look at Ticket to Earth, that released with most of the game missing, and it’s only recently that it’s finally taking a more ‘complete’ shape. ‘Live’ games like Hearthstone rely on expansions and new content as the body relies on blood.

Still, it can still be easy to overlook a game, new content or no, as we move on to the next new thing and mobile’s relentless release cycle continues apace. We’ve decided to look at six games with excellent post-release content you should take note of.

Hearthstone

A feature on game expansions just has to start with the collectible card game, Hearthstone (Does it tho?-ED). The game’s phenomenal popularity may be past its peak but designers Blizzard certainly know a thing or two about keeping their loyal followers hooked.

To begin with, Blizzard released an alternating sequence of new card sets and original adventures, with about three sets being published each year. However, since the extra cards available in the adventure expansions took a considerable effort to earn it was noted that they were not having the desired impact on the meta-game. Blizzard changed tack by deciding to limit future expansions to themed card sets. However, they also recognised that many players enjoy the single-player challenges and so they introduced new quests and missions alongside the new card sets.

The League of Explorers is probably the best adventure add-on to date, not only is it an entertaining single-player story but it also contains several ground-breaking cards, including the first ones to feature the discover mechanic. The choice of best card expansions is pretty subjective, I must confess to having not played for a while, but I have a soft spot for Journey to Un’Goro, which has plenty of strong but not too powerful cards and many possibilities for interesting card combos.

Ticket to Earth (Review)

Ticket to Earth is a clever mix of a tile-matching puzzler and turn-based tactical combat. The immaculate presentation and highly addictive battles make this one of my all-time favourites. Upon its initial release, some two and a half years ago, the big issue was the lack of content. Back then, only the first of the promised four episodes were available, which took only a few hours to complete.

The good news is that Robot Circus have kept their promise to release the remaining three episodes at no extra cost. The not so good news is that it seems to be taking them longer to complete than George R.R. Martin’s latest epic. However, although Robot Circus can hardly be accused of rushing the release of the extra content, the wait has been worth it.

The two new episodes that have so far been released are of an equally high standard, with new missions, playable characters and enemies to contend with. Throw in a load of new-fangled powers to learn and a brand-new crafting system and you will quickly realise that Robot Circus have not been resting on their laurels.

Now, we just need the final episode to find out what happens to Rose, Wolf and the rest of the gang.

Ticket to Ride (Review)

Ticket to Ride was one of the first modern board games to make its way over to mobile. In spite of the passing years, it is still a polished and competitive app.

If you have grown tired of expanding your railroad empire across North America then there is an atlas worth of new maps to try out. Enjoy the unique topological challenges of mainland Europe or Asia. Or focus on the challenges of individual countries like Great Britain, Germany or India, each with their unique rule additions, such as advanced technology and stocks and shares.

Other tabletop games that also have a range of interesting additional content include Carcassonne and Ascension, both of which have been covered in more detail in our comprehensive guides.

Warbits (Review)

Warbits may look cute and cuddly but dig a little deeper and you will find a perfectly balanced and challenging turn-based tactical game that can hold its own against Nintendo’s venerable Advance Wars series of games.

A free update added a new challenge mode, with a generous helping of thirty new missions across three categories; skirmish, puzzle and veteran. with the ultra-hard veteran levels only becoming available when you earn a platinum medal in the corresponding skirmish level.

Meteorfall: Journey (Review)

There is no shortage of deck-building card games available, but when Pocket Tactics’ 2019 Game of the Year gets some additional free content it is advisable to sit up and take note.

Meteorfall has received two substantial updates. The first, Necrodude, includes a new hero who has the power to summon the dead. Also included are 25 new cards as well as opportunities to increase the strength of your deck. The Demon update includes a new difficulty level, with progressively more challenging levels and even more cards.

Galaxy Trucker (Review)

Not long to wait until the expansion for Through the Ages is released, but in the meantime why not revisit another of designer Vlaada Chvátil’s classics. Galaxy Trucker is a real bitter-sweet experience. You spend the first half of the game manically grabbing tiles and constructing your spanking new spaceship, only to watch it get blasted to pieces in a brutal journey towards your destination.

One of the many great things about Galaxy Trucker is the brilliantly designed single-player campaign. Alien Technologies adds a further 42 single-player missions, which together with 15 new types of technology tiles really extends the game’s longevity. These new tiles include boosts to weapons and shields and fancy new cabins for paying guests. One unique add-on is the space catapult. This rather sadistic addition allows you to fling cargo or indeed crew members into space to repel asteroids. If that isn’t enough, there are also new aliens to sign-up to your crew. Well worth purchasing for anyone who wants to keep on truckin’.

Honourable Mention: Star Traders Frontiers

Star Traders Frontiers enjoys a near-weekly schedule of minor-content drops. It’s harder to quantify in the same way as we’ve done above as it’s just an endless series of patches - the Trese Brothers have yet to really explore anything remotely resembling a full-on ‘expansion’. But their dedication to supporting their work post-release should not be ignored.

What’s Hot South Florida May 25 – May 29

And the winner of the Miss Unite 2017 pageant is… Kalah Mendoza!

The new queen took the title last Monday when Abey Alfasi held his second annual Miss Unite F.I. Pageant at the world-famous Boardwalk in Fort Lauderdale. Five contestants competed in the pageant, which is the official preliminary to Miss Florida F.I. 2017.

The second runner-up was Kataleya Davenport, while the first runner-up title went to April Chanel.

All three finalists received sponsorships allowing them to move on to the Miss Florida F.I. Pageant to compete on the national stage. Congrats to Abey and his entire staff on a fabulous pageant! On Tuesday, I started my night at Extreme Action Park in Oakland Park in their Classic Car Exhibit where the GFLGLCC hosted their monthly mixer. For those of you who haven’t been yet, this is such a fun place! Check it out! Afterwards, I went over to Rumors for their monthly charity bingo, which this month benefited the Animal Rescue Fund. As usual, the hostess was the lovely Amanda Austin and her special guest was Alandra Matthews.

On Wednesday night, the night started out at a beautiful home on Las Olas as Equality Florida held their Broward Connections Mixer and talked about the latest political actions going on in Tallahassee. Afterwards, I headed down to Miami as the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force held their 2017 Gala Kick Off Party at AC Hotels on the beach. While there I got to see my brother from another mother (he is really my sista, but he hates when I say that), Josue Santiago, who is the chair of the 2017 Gala. On Thursday, SAVE! held a Broward County Champions of Equality Recruitment event at Mind Your Manors on Wilton Drive. Tony Lima, executive director, created this event to get more Broward folks involved in their Champions of Equality Gala. As someone who has been many times, I highly encourage it. The anniversary, whose theme was Noche Erotica, was packed in the dance room and the patio and featured the bartenders in fetish gear, sexy Go-Go Papis in outfits I dream about, fabulous drag performances (including two from the current reigning Miss Noche Latina, Angie Ovahness, that had the crowds screaming), an adult video star performance, and sensational music by resident DJ Larry Larr. And the winner of the Miss Unite 2017 pageant is… Kalah Mendoza!

The new queen took the title last Monday when Abey Alfasi held his second annual Miss Unite F.I. Pageant at the world-famous Boardwalk in Fort Lauderdale. Five contestants competed in the pageant, which is the official preliminary to Miss Florida F.I. 2017.

 The second runner-up was Kataleya Davenport, while the first runner-up title went to April Chanel.

 All three finalists received sponsorships allowing them to move on to the Miss Florida F.I. Pageant to compete on the national stage. Congrats to Abey and his entire staff on a fabulous pageant! On Tuesday, I started my night at Extreme Action Park in Oakland Park in their Classic Car Exhibit where the GFLGLCC hosted their monthly mixer. For those of you who haven’t been yet, this is such a fun place! Check it out! Afterwards, I went over to Rumors for their monthly charity bingo, which this month benefited the Animal Rescue Fund. As usual, the hostess was the lovely Amanda Austin and her special guest was Alandra Matthews.

 On Wednesday night, the night started out at a beautiful home on Las Olas as Equality Florida held their Broward Connections Mixer and talked about the latest political actions going on in Tallahassee. Afterwards, I headed down to Miami as the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force held their 2017 Gala Kick Off Party at AC Hotels on the beach. While there I got to see my brother from another mother (he is really my sista, but he hates when I say that), Josue Santiago, who is the chair of the 2017 Gala. On Thursday, SAVE! held a Broward County Champions of Equality Recruitment event at Mind Your Manors on Wilton Drive. Tony Lima, executive director, created this event to get more Broward folks involved in their Champions of Equality Gala. As someone who has been many times, I highly encourage it.
