Notes: I’m REALLY enjoying this series a lot. Most of it was written last night but I wrapped things up so I could post it today since I can’t continue Celebration Weekend like I wanted to. I hope everyone likes it!

“So, based on what I’ve seen and what I’ve… felt. I do believe something rather malevolent is haunting the two of you... or perhaps, your apartment.” Scratching Hoseok out of nowhere and then attacking Jin minutes later was rather brash for something that didn’t hold any sort of hard feelings. The entity clearly doesn’t like you being around, willing to try and manifest itself in a more physical plane to get rid of you. It’s unfortunate it caught onto your nature so quickly, but you suppose that you didn’t come in disguised.

“Malevolent? Like, something evil?” You nod silently. Whatever it is, likely a demon, is bad news for all parties. You can’t see that you’ve ever seen something quite this bad before, but either way, you’re dedicated to dealing with it. They called you specifically, they were trusting you to take care of it…. So, you were going to. Even if you’re unsure as to how at this point. After the events of tonight, you know you’ll have to do some extensive research.

“It didn’t do things like this till you arrived; it was never mean to us before, just a little cheeky.” A small laugh leaves you at that, Hoseok’s bubbly demeanor lightening the situation up. He seems rather high spirited considering he and Seokjin were just attacked moments ago, but that’ll be good in the long run.

“Not cheeky enough to laugh at my jokes.” What an odd pair. For some reason you can easily see Seokjin trying to tell jokes at 3am to thin air, and another laugh leaves you. At least they’re trying to make the nest out of the situation. Choosing to pass Seokjin’s comment, you address what Hoseok said instead.

“That’s the thing, it clearly sees me as a threat. Which in itself tells me that there’s something more sinister at play. Spirits and… demons don’t like me because they know I can essentially get rid of them. It’s always been like that.” Normal spirits, those who have passed on and are just trying to get to the other side… they never bother you. They wander aimlessly some of the time sure, but never take on a hostile nature that a demon would. Fuck, you hope so badly that it isn’t a demon… Hoseok bristles in his spot, a perturbed look on his face before he directs another question your way.

“So, you can get rid of Petunia then?” You give Hoseok a very pointed look, and he cringes before bringing his hand over his mouth to zip his lips and toss they key away. “Petunia” would be dealt with, you’d make sure of it, but you still have a very small understanding of how the entity came to be. Cracking a few of your fingers, you look around and address them both again.

“Yes Hoseok, but I need to first figure out why the entity is here, what it tied itself to. Do you mind if I take a look around your apartment? I’ll need to look at every room if that’s alright.” The men stand up from their couch, gesturing for you to do what you must. Standing from your spot, you grab your sketchbook again and decide to go to the kitchen.

Nothing in particular seems to be lingering in the living room, so perhaps the source of issue lays somewhere else. Their apartment is super spacious, and you can’t help but to be curious what they do for work as you notice how nice the kitchen is. Both men trail behind you, and you let them, knowing it can’t hurt to stick together right now. Seokjin wanders closer to you as you slide a hand over the marble countertop, content to feel nothing out of the ordinary. It’s connected to the living room, and you can’t sense anything really, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Hoseok did mention knives disappearing and reappearing after all.

“So, you can see things…? I mean, don’t feel like you have to answer…” Seokjin’s voice gets quiet, but you shake your head to tell him its fine. Most people have questions and you’ve never minded answering them. It’s important they know what they’re getting themselves into anyway and having to deal with your sight is one thing that could actually end up scaring them. Wandering out of the kitchen and toward the bathroom Seokjin was attacked in, you answer quietly.

“Yes, I can ‘see things’, if by that you mean entities. Usually, they have to reveal themselves to the human eye, but not for me. They exist everywhere… But most of them are harmless.”  Like right now, you can see a lingering blackness in the bathroom. Specifically, wrapped around the shower curtain that was nearly used to strangle Seokjin earlier on. Again, you decide not to mention it to them, not wanting to scare the poor men any further for now. Taking down a few notes, you shield it as the men try and lean over your shoulder to see. Even if the entity lingers here, nothing feels particularly off in the air.

“Can you do anything else?” Hoseok’s eyes are practically glittering as he asks, his curiosity clear to both you and Seokjin. Letting out a little hum, you wander past them both and out the door to the hallway, making your way over to the next door. There’s a little sticker of a colorful flower on it, and if you’ve learned anything in the past few hours, it likely belongs to Hoseok.

“I can sense auras if that makes sense, not just of entities but also people. That… takes a little extra work though. I have to really focus and draw from the person.” Opening the door up, you peek inside and can’t help to smile. The room is bright even at night, pretty colors scattered about the clean looking room. Not a thing is out of place it seems, and you note that Hoseok likes to keep things tidy. There are traces of him all over the place, very faint wisps of yellow scattered all over. As you go to slide a hand across his comforter, a loud bang comes from the ceiling. You all pause, glancing up slowly on hopes it was just a coincidence. The things is though, they live on the top floor.

It comes again, but in quick succession. One, two three… One, two, three. Bad things always come in threes. You try and ignore it, but the final bang is so loud and harsh, a crack appears in the ceiling as dust falls onto your heads. Hoseok flings himself into Seokjin’s arms as the other man remains frozen, holding his friend close to him.

“HOLY FUCK!” A loud cry rings throughout the house, something that could never be made from a human. It sounds incorrect, like something that should never be heard by anyone. Seokjin grabs for your hand, and you let him, unsure if you’re the one comforting him or vice versa. It stops then, just as quickly as it stated, and things go dead silent. You all glance at each other, slowly untangling from one another, you clear your throat and decide to just move on, not letting the thing know that you’re uncomfortable with how things are turning out.

“Moving on then… I’d like to see the next room please.” There’s nothing you can do yet, not till you have a better understanding of why its here. Seokjin nods and leads you out of Hoseok’s room and further down the hallway. Hoseok follows very closely, his body practically attached to you as you wander out of his room, but you can’t help but pause as goosebumps suddenly wash across your skin. Something isn’t right.

“What’s that room down there?” You can see it clearly now, the blackness seeping from under the cracks of the door. It’s there, it has to be there. You couldn’t sense it before, but now it obviously wants to make itself known to you now.

“Hm? Oh, that’s our shared office. It’s the biggest room in the place, so we decided to share it since there’s more than enough room for both of our desks.” They can’t see it, small smiles on their faces. That’s good though, it’s likely then that the entity isn’t strong enough to show itself off yet, not in big ways at least. Walking to the door slowly, you make sure to be in front of them as you place a hand on the knob. It’s freezing to the touch, making you flinch a little at the feeling. Seokjin rests a hand on your shoulder from behind, voice gently wafting through the air.

“Are you alright…?” You force a wry smile to your face as you turn your head to him, trying your best to reassure the men that everything was fine. It wasn’t though, not really. The energy behind the door was starting to get stronger, so doing what you think is best, you twist the knob and try to open it.  Maybe you would be able to handle the situation, or at least get the entity to rear its head so you could force it to back down for now.

A mistake.

It’s taking over you abruptly, the blackness. You can’t see, not really as the intense coldness washes over your whole body, leaving you paralyzed in the darkness. There’s nothing to feel, all of your senses being slowly cut off, the screams of Hoseok and Seokjin getting quieter and quieter as you sink into oblivion.

“What do we do?!? _____?!?”

Summary; Seokjin is a dumbass demon and Hoseok is a dumbass human. This is how they wound up stuck together thanks tot heir own idiocy.

If you were to look up the term "boneheaded" in a dictionary, you would find a picture of Seokjin pasted there- though you probably shouldn't tell him that because the terror triplets enjoy their tails and wouldn't like damage to come to them if the elder demon were to find out their joke. Regardless of how exactly Seokjin's picture from decades ago wound up in the dictionary, the fact of the matter is, it's pretty fucking accurate. As much as he liked to act like he knew what he was doing at any given time, Seokjin did in fact, not have the slightest fucking clue what he was doing at any given time. Which is as good a place as any to start this story.

You see, the thing about demons is they aren't as willing to venture into the human realm as much as human history likes to claim. Humans, in a word, suck and no demon likes to deal with humanity's shit for longer than absolutely necessary. So it's never exactly been unusual for demons to play games to palm the work off to the loser. Now usually, Seokjin somehow manages to pull the age and superiority card to get out of human duty but for some reason on this night, he forgot that particular ace up his sleeve and got dragged into the game. And of course, he lost due to pure idiocy.

"We've been playing this exact game for millennia now, how do you still get caught two steps in?" Yoongi sighed, looking relieved at not losing for the first time in at least a century and a half while also looking as if he didn't understand exactly what made up the elder entity before him- it's idiocy and lame jokes, in case you were wondering.

"You're all cheaters!" Was the elder demon's retort, standing from his space on the balcony overlooking the arena- where their damned soul playing pieces were suffering for their sins- to point accusingly at his friends.

"We're demons," Namjoon deadpanned.

"And I am your hyung! Respect me!"

"No," The terror triplets replied in sync and Seokjin flopped back into his seat with a resigned sigh.

"Here's the information, go scare the life out of a human!" Jimin cheered, smiling serenely from the bottom of the pile he and his two troublemaker soulmates (ha, get it, because they deal with souls) had made by Yoongi's feet where they were wrestling in a way that would not stay family-friendly for long. He had one clawed hand extended to the eldest with a slip of almost ripped paper in between two of the well kept, and currently painted deep blue, talons.

"If humans got one thing right, it's technology," Seokjin huffed, getting up to snatch the paper away and read the information provided. Just a name, an address and a summary of the contract the human signed.

"Carrying paper is such an inconvenience, oh no, who cares about trees anyways?" Namjoon replied in a sing-song sarcastic voice. If he had paid attention to the expression on the younger three demons faces, he would've realised he still hadn't quite grasped sarcasm for the art form it is. He should really take more private tutoring with Yoongi.

"As you pointed out earlier, Joon-ah, we're demons," Seokjin replied and then in a flash of smoke he was gone, or as least using the distraction to sprint away towards the portals.

"One day, he'll accept that we don't believe he can just dis-" Yoongi started to speak but Jeongguk spoke up in an awe-filled voice.

"Whoa! Did you see that?!" The youngest exclaimed, staring wide-eyed at the spot the eldest was only moments before. "He was there and then just- poof! Whoa," He flopped down over his fellow trouble makers laps.

"I really worry about the influence Jin-hyung is on the kids," Yoongi said to Namjoon while the terror triplets spoke excitedly and dramatically to one another about how cool Seokjin was for knowing how to use smoke portals, a feat only achieved by the most intelligent of demons...so Seokjin would never learn honestly, but the kids didn't seem to realise that obvious fact.

"Ew," Was the first sound out of Seokjin's mouth when he stepped through the portal and into the human realm, he had stepped out into the brightly lit apartment of his victim. It was tidy and clean and smelled like burned toast. "Even Joon-ah doesn't burn toast." He grumbled traipsing through the apartment towards where he heard a male voice scatting along to a song that was most certainly not designed for scatting.

Dancing around his bedroom was Jung Hoseok, 26-year-old performing arts student and all 'round good guy. Except for the fact he signed away his soul two years ago for a pair of the ugliest shoes Seokjin has ever seen, which lived pride of place in protective packaging on a shelf in the living room. “Shoes that expensive and rare aren't for wearing” was what Hoseok had stressed to his friends many times over when they arrived in the mail- let's not dwell on the fact Hoseok knew he hadn't ordered them as he simply would never be able to afford them and genuinely believed he had a secret sugar daddy for two straight weeks.

Hoseok shimmied into his bathroom and flung his shirt blindly back towards the dirty washing hamper.

"Should I follow?" Seokjin mumbled to himself while crossing the room to drop down onto the soft bed. "It would certainly be a good story to tell the guys, I bet he'd flail spectacularly in the shower-" But a high pitched scream cut him off followed by another that came from Seokjin's own mouth as he tumbled off the bed in shock and hit his head on the hardwood flooring.

Bare chest heaving and hand clutched over his heart, Hoseok shuffled a little further into his bedroom to grab some form of weapon in hopes of protecting himself from the intruder. He waited, whole body tensed with his fight or flight instinct rampaging through his veins but the lump on the floor didn't move. "Uh, hello?" He called out shakily. No answer. "Excuse me, mister burglar? Are you dead?" With cautious, terrified steps, Hoseok edged closer to peer down at the unconscious male. "Hello?" He reached out with his foot to nudge the other's leg.

"I'm not playing hide the sausage with you, Tae, leave me alone," Seokjin mumbled.

"Uh, I'm not Tae, whoever that is."

After a handful of tense seconds, Seokjin was suddenly scrambling to his feet and turning to stare at the human before him with wide eyes.

"Why the fuck did you scream like that?!" He demanded.

"You were laid on my bed! I don't know you! How did you get in here?!"

"Stop shrieking, you made me hit my head and now I've got a headache," Seokjin complained while lifting a hand to rub at the impact site at the top of his forehead just before his hairline. And then, he noticed something, or more specifically, the concerning lack of something. "Horns!" He bolted past Hoseok to enter the bathroom and stare despairingly at the perfectly clear and flat expanse of his forehead, not even a single hint of his shined to perfection smoky grey horns. "I'm not horny!" He wailed, collapsing to his knees dramatically while his hands gripped the edge of the sink.

"Does that mean you'll leave now? I don't want to be caught up in whatever depravity you're into."

"What did you do to me!?" Seokjin screamed, turning a glare onto the human who yelped and stumbled back a few steps but that wasn't what Seokjin wanted. "No! My heat vision!"

"Your what?"  

"Heat vision! I know you humans have it in your fantasy books and little people plays, the ones on the glass screens."

"Do you mean movies?"

"Yes! That one!" Seokjin pointed at Hoseok.

"Right...you need an ambulance. Seems kind of messed up to call an ambulance for my potential attacker though so I'm not sure where to go from here." The human admitted, twisting his hands around the trophy he still gripped tightly, just in case.

"I can't attack you, silly human, your soul wouldn't belong to us then. I was only going to scare you or indirectly cause your death, not physically touch you."

"That does not settle my mind at all," Hoseok mumbled.

"It doesn't matter anymore. Even if I did still manage to cause your demise, I couldn't claim your soul, my powers no longer work."

"Right, hm, okay. Right." The human backed up until his bed hit the back of his legs and then he dropped down to sit.

For a while, they both stayed in their respective rooms, in their respective minds, caught up in their respective woes. Seokjin about somehow losing his demon identity- a feat only Seokjin and his boneheadedness could achieve honestly. Hoseok about the stranger having a minor breakdown in his bathroom while weeping about being "not horny anymore", which Hoseok was glad for because he didn't want to have the mental war with himself about the morals of falling into bed with an inhumanly attractive burglar; while also wondering which emergency service would be best suited to deal with the situation.

"It's decided." Hoseok jolted back, almost falling from his bed in surprise at the sudden close voice. Seokjin was only a metre away and standing with his hands on his hips. "Seeing as you somehow turned me human, you will provide food and lodge for me throughout the duration of my stay in the human realm until we find out how to return me to my demonic state. When that happens I will finish what I came him for and drag you back to hell with me where I will personally oversee your torture for all eternity for doing this to me."

"Uh, hang on, what?"

"What?"

"How hard did you hit your head? Demonic state? Hell? Human realm?"

"Yes? I don't see your point." The pair stared at each other for a moment before Seokjin understood where the human's confusion stemmed from and he let out a hearty and entirely out of place laugh that honestly only concerned Hoseok further. "Right, I always forget, you humans don't believe in our existence, except where religion is concerned. Silly humans, we've been around long before the concept of religion was thought up by your ancestors."

"My family isn't religious," Was the only thing Hoseok had to respond with so that's all he said.

"I meant humanity in general, not you specifically," Hoseok grunted in response, not that it particularly meant anything, it was just a noise to fill the gap Seokjin's sentence left. "I am a demon and I came to claim your soul that you signed away for those hideous shoes in the other room. Honestly, of all the things, those?" Seokjin shuddered. "I am disgusted but not surprised by what humans find beautiful."

"I won those in a competition," Hoseok replied, feeling twice the amount of offence as required by Seokjin's honesty for the sake of the shoes themselves; they didn't have the ability to be offended so obviously it was down to Hoseok to be it for them. Obviously. Maybe Hoseok's picture could make a special appearance next to Seokjin's in the dictionary, something small and comparable to fine print in comparison to Seokjin's loud and glaringly obvious.

"A competition?" The demon- or not demon, whatever he may be- replied blankly. "And answer me this, little human, what competition was that exactly?"

"I don't remember, I must've been drunk when I applied."

"Oh you were drunk, for sure but it wasn't a competition you applied for. You signed a contract to promise us your soul so long as you got your ugly ass shoes."

"Wait, hold on a second. I was drunk and you still let me sign away my soul?"

"Hoseok, sweetie, we're demons, it's not like your intoxication level matters to us. We thrive on chaos and trickery."

"You know my name." The human mumbled, shocked at the fact for some reason. As if everything else so far was perfectly normal and every day.

"Well, yeah." Seokjin looked a little bewildered and concerned and for a moment wondered if Hoseok had been the one to hit his head and not himself. "I can't take a portal to a claim if I don't have their name and address."

"Oh, right, yeah, cool, right. Portal."

"Yes, portal."

Silence stretched on between the pair and Seokjin could practically see the sanity oozing out of Hoseok's ears and dripping down his bare, lithe chest. And oh, that's a thing. Hoseok's only in his boxers. Cool. Nice.

"Nice," Seokjin repeated his thoughts aloud without even realising. The human looked up at the sudden sound. "What's your stance on boning a demon recently turned human?"

"Uh,"

"Purely hypothetical, unless your stance is very down to bone a demon recently turned human, in that case, I require a live chicken, two gallons of goats milk and the screams of the innocent on loop."

And somehow, somehow despite all that, Hoseok didn't kick the elder man out- he didn't state his stance on boning a demon recently turned human either- but instead, he pointed to the pull-out couch and spent the following months learning to live with another being as the pair searched high and low for a way to return the boneheaded former demon back to the fiery depths from whence he came.

(If you listen carefully, you can hear the cackling of the terror triplets as they watch on from Namjoon's viewing crystal but that’s another story entirely.)

that halts them completely

so maybe there would be no problem with this 

so rather than continue to have other sources of media giving them a voice

they have their own and make a public statement

it’s scary

it’s tense

but they get through it

and bts are even bigger now

they completely pull it off

and more and more idols have already come out or debuted making sure any following fully well knows of their sexuality

but the jikook announcement changes everything

and it’s not only thanks to that

but it’s thanks to everything the whole band have done so far

idols are coming out about mental health problems

they’re opening up about the harsh realities of becoming and idol

the world of south korean music changes

and everyone is digging the jikook

fan fiction rises through the roof lmao

and some people still write about separate jimin and kook pairings

but it’s hard to unsee the jikook hahaha

the world had been cleansed

everyone feels radiant

all is great

and jikook lived happily ever after

Ship Wars; Seokjin/Everyone

It was Jungkook's mistake to trust Hoseok so easily, but he couldn't help it. The guy portrayed the role of a trustworthy older brother who was all innocent smiles and had a very cheerful personality that everyone loved. And that was a legit way to describe Hoseok because in all honesty, there was no lie in that description.

Hoseok really was a trustworthy older brother and that was the main reason his band members didn't get threatened all that much when it came to Jin because Hoseok was harmless. But because the others spent so much time looking at Hoseok's innocent side, they ended up forgetting about the person they first met, the most seductive snake that did a great job at hiding, the one who didn't hesitate to jump his prey in full force. And Seokjin was his new meal, has been since Hoseok first laid eyes on him when they moved in together but he kept it on the low until he finally snapped.

"Hoseok-ah, mind helping me with the new choreo?" Seokjin asked one Sunday afternoon when all seven members were in the practice room.

They had been getting ready for a new comeback and Seokjin was known to go to Hoseok for help if he was struggling with any dance. Apparently Hoseok's 'bap' noises help him much more than Jimin's counting method, which the latter found unfair.

He tried to teach his hyung once when Hoseok wasn't around but unfortunately, it didn't work out since Jimin got too distracted by Seokjin's face and accidentally shoved his hyung. It wasn't only one time. If it was, Seokjin would have let it go but it happened at least three times and Jin complained about his bruised butt from falling over due to his dongsaengs strength. That's how it came to be that Jimin was shunned from being Seokjin's teacher by Seokjin himself.

Now he was stuck watching Hoseok have fun helping Seokjin. Most of the time Hoseok kept things innocent but on this particular day Hoseok decided to risk it all, and it was the same day they were filming an ARMY Bomb in the practice room while they perfected their new choreography.

Hoseok didn't hesitate to agree on helping Jin out, but he claimed they needed to stretch first in order to not strain their muscles and whatnot but Hoseok's idea of stretching included yoga. The suggestion itself would have raised alarms if they other's weren't distracted, but they were so Hoseok got a free pass.

Seokjin found the suggestion suspicious, but agreed nonetheless since this was Hoseok, their dance leader who had much more experience than Seokjin so the eldest trusted Hoseok knew what he was doing.

Jimin found himself watching from the other end of the room where he was helping Namjoon with a certain dance. He caught Hoseok's mischievous eyes and dangerous smirk from far away, and suddenly he was worried because that same expression is the one that belonged to the sneaky Hoseok from their trainee days.

It started out seemingly innocent so none of the other guys were bothered that much, but they still glanced over occasionally to make sure Hoseok wasn't doing anything inappropriate. What they eventually figured out was that the innocence in the stretches slowly started fading until finally there was nothing but shameless seductive attempts.

Yoongi and Namjoon were the first to notice. They had been sitting against the mirror, both taking a break from the tiring choreography. There was something soothing about watching Seokjin, his expression when he stretched, his hands on his wast as he calmed his breathing, his overall self trying his best to perfect the dance they were tasked with. The rappers found nothing soothing about the way Hoseok bed their hyung forward until he was practically in half, vision hidden from Hoseok's devious smirk as he stood behind him, hands on Jin's waist as he pushed him down farther. And how could they miss Hoseok's hips pressing against Seokjin's backside.

Yoongi faintly felt Namjoon hitting his arm rapidly, meaningless stutters leaving his mouth as he tried to form a sentence.

"Calm the fuck down," Yoongi hissed squeezing Namjoon's hand as a way to bring him back from his messy thoughts.

"I can't!" he hissed back. "Hoseok's cheating! He can't do that! He can't!"

"I know!" Yoongi said with all that much more agitation in his tone.

They turned to the maknaes for help. They surely wouldn't let Hoseok do such things to Seokjin out in the open, but their hope faded when they saw they were too busy being the main attention of the cameras.

Yoongi cursed silently. It looked like it was up to him and Namjoon to stop Hoseok from doing anything they weren't allowed to do while there was a camera around (but honestly they only wanted to do it to save Seokjin's oblivious ass from getting wrecked.)

Before Yoongi even had the chance to stand up, Seokjin stood up straight and Hoseok's once seductive expression turned innocently happy.

"Mind getting into a turtle position?" Hoseok asked. "This is to stretch out your arms and help your torso relax a bit."

"But I wont be able to see anything again," Seokjin pointed out. Hoseok only smiled, white teeth out in the open.

"Trust me hyung," he said placing a hand on Seokjin's beautifully broad shoulder.

Seokjin hesitantly nodded and got on his knees, bending until his thighs were pressed against his stomach and his forehead touched the floor, arms stretched out in front of him.

"Hold onto my ankles, I'm gonna stretch too," Hoseok advised and Seokjin did as told, grabbing onto Hoseok's ankles that were already waiting to be held, and then Hoseok leaned forward.

He was originally supposed to place his palms on Jin's lower back, Yoongi knew this because he's seen plenty of youtubers do this pose on their 'coupes yoga' challenge, but Hoseok was sneaky and he placed his hands on Jin's butt and went as far as to compliment his ass as he squeezed them.  

"Thanks Hoseok-ah!" Soekjin's voice muffled. "I've been doing squats with Taehyung recently."

"Well the results are great," Hoseok murmured, hands squeezing the cheeks softly and Yoongi was ready to attack but Taehyung came out of nowhere and pushed Hoseok back.

"What the fuck!" Hoseok yelled, falling to the floor.

Seokjin released Hoseok's ankle and sat up, looking around the room in confusion.

"Sorry," Tae apologized, an apologetic smile on his face (it was obviously fake but Seokjin didn't seem to notice.) "Jungkook pushed me too hard," he explained.

That's when Yoongi noticed Jungkook was only a few steps away from Taehyung with a glare being directed at their dance leader.

"No problem, just be careful. Hoseok could have gotten hurt," Seokjin said standing up.

Taehyung smiled genuinely at him and nodded, pulling the maknae back towards the direction of Jimin who was entertaining the camera with his dance moves.

"Remind me to take them out to eat," Namjoon whispered to Yoongi once everything calmed down.

"Same here," Yoongi muttered finally letting loose of all the tense muscles in his body.

Hoseok and Seokjin were now taking a break drinking some water so Yoongi allowed himself to visibly relax enough to talk to Namjoon.

The peaceful conversation he was having with his dongsaeng only lasted 5 minutes because Hoseok was eager to get back to stretching.

"Okay hyung now lets get on our knees, we'll be stretching our backs more thoroughly," Hoseok instructed.

Seokjin followed instructions ans fell to his knees first. Yoongi didn't miss the smirk on Hoseok's face a she stared down at Seokjin who was fixing his sweatpants.

Hoseok fell to his knees right in front of Seokjin, grabbing Jin's attention with the huge 'thump' created on the wooden tiles.

"Hold my wrists," Hoseok said holding his hands out to his hyung.

They held onto each other's wrist tightly and simultaneously leaned back until their backs were arched and Seokjin was a groaning mess.

Yoongi's eyes widened at the whimper that left Seokjin's mouth.

It took everyone by surprise, even the camera man who stared at 2Seok in complete shock because Hoseok was subtly pulling Seokjin towards him causing their hips to collide.

Seokjin's red face and ears were obvious and it only made Yoongi and Namjoon stress all that more because he wasn't doing anything to end the yoga!

Jimin was the one to save his hyungs the bloodshed this time around. He left the camera with Taehyung and Jungkook, the two unoccupied rappers frowning when they saw Jimin fill a small cup with water.

Yoongi grinned and Namjoon laughed when Jimin poured water all over Hoseok's face.

The cold water was a shock to Hoseok so he immediately let go of Seokjin in order to wipe at his drenched face.

Seokjin fell back, flushed and breathing hard, but nobody paid attention because they were too entertained by the dance leader who looked pissed as hell.

"Oops," Jimin apologized mockingly with a satisfied smirk on his face. "I tripped."

The Bangtan Bomb was released and Yoongi, like always, watched it as soon as it came out.

Namjoon was sat next to him on the small couch Namjoon set up in his recording studio.

The leader was on instagram (it's a secret account he shared with Yoongi in order to keep up with Seokjin stans) and things were relatively calm, as it always was when they were alone together.

As Yoongi watched the maknaes of the group smack each other's wrists, Namjoon got his attention by saying "What the fuck."

"What is it?" yoongi asked only half interested.

"Look!" Namjoon shoved his phone in Yoongi's face and the eldest of the two forcefully pushed away the phone that was close to blinding him.

"Jesus Namjoon, lower the brightness. My eyes are accustomed to the dim," Yoongi scolded.

Namjoon wordlessly lowered the brightness before shoving his phone in Yoongi's face once again.

He froze at the screenshot posted onto Instagram. It was from the Bangtan Bomb, Seokjin bending forwards to stretch and Hoseok behind him, hands on his waist and a dirty smirk on his face.

It was the same scene he saw from afar, and he ignored Taehyung's frozen grin on the camera because his attention was on the reflection in the mirror behind him. It made his blood boil at the memory how it wasn't him feeling Seokjin up.

"2seok is blowing up!" Namjoon whined. "The fans can't stop talking about them. The fansites are going crazy Yoongi!"

The latter scowled, eyes narrowing. "Fucking Hoseok," he muttered.

Hello :) I'm curious : what are your favorite broships in BTS ?

Well this is just a MEAN question, now isn’t it? Next, you’re going to ask me which of my children* is my favorite, aren’t you? 

*siiiiiiiigh*

Every pairing in Bangtan is just fucking phenomenal and has mountains of evidence to back it up. It’s one of the great things about Bangtan. So while there are some I gravitate toward more than others, I love them All, and all for very different reasons. SO! Instead of answering the question you actually asked (because I am a rebel and easily distracted) I’m just going to tell you what I love about every pairing. Buckle up! (This is going to be a long one)

Going in age order because it’s just easier this way.

Yoonjin - The old dude roommates! Yoongi completely buys into Jin’s dad jokes and Jin puts Yoongi in his place. Their dynamic is so close to equal, but with this nice push and pull of Yoongi technically being the dongsaeng but Jin respecting Yoongi’s music abilities and near-deputy-leader status in the group. I mean, they push their beds together to watch movies. They’re the quiet bros who somehow manage to annoy the maknae line and I love it.

2seok - The world needs so much more 2seok in it. The way Hobi teaches Jin dance? The way Jin watches out for Hobi? The laughter between the two of them (anyone remember beat boxing in LA?) is so much fun. They also probably have secret meetings where they plot the best ways to embarrass the rest of the group at any given moment. They’re the goofy and underestimated bros who support one another.

Namjin - Listen. Namjin are married. Whether it’s platonic or romantic or simply comedic, they are bonded for life and I love it so much. Jin is Joon’s safe place. He seeks him out in stressful situations or in interviews, gravitating toward him like a moon around a planet. And Jin is just so fucking PROUD of Namjoon and supports his leadership. Joon said in his vlive this weekend that Jin’s twitter selfie gave him joy all day! They’re the parent bros who would still spend most of their spare time together even if there were no kids to take care of.

Jinmin - THESE TWO. How they manage to be gentle and savage at the same time, I have no idea. But God it’s fun to watch. Jimin laughs at every single one of Seokjin’s dad jokes. Jin DELIGHTS in making Jimin laugh. Jin enjoys feeding Jimin during Eat Jin and Jimin is so very happy to be there. The amount of Jinmin on the Wings Tour is actually kind of amazing – seems like Jimin is backstage during Awake every single night and I love it. They’re the Sass Bros who will likely try to feed you within an inch of your life.

Taejin - This is possibly the MOST hyung/dongsaeng relationship within the Jin pairings, amazingly enough. He’s still the hyung to all the others, but I see him treating Tae as his little brother maybe the most of the others. There’s lots of hair petting and chin scritching and back hugs. Then again, it’s probably a 50/50 split on who initiates those first. And Taehyung is ALWAYS coming to Seokjin’s defense, especially over the teasing of the other members, just like a good little brother. They also have like ZERO boundaries with each other – showering together, accidental kissing onstage, wiping frosting off Jin’s face and eating it right there on camera. They’re the overly affectionate actor bros who cannot take themselves too seriously.

Jinkook - My love for Jinkook goes back to predebut, when Kookie almost quit because he was so homesick and Jin made sure he felt loved and cared for. And now Seokjin screams at him “I raised you on my BACK” which is delightful. They also seem like they would prank the members together, given the opportunity (I’m thinking of the Eat Jin where Jin was screaming and Joon came in all worried and they both played dumb without even rehearsing it). Jungkook is Jin’s baby in a different way than the hyung/dongsaeng thing Jin’s got with Tae, but Kookie kind of babies him right back (and Jin is possibly at his silliest and “youngest” around Kook). They’re the snuggle bros who probably shouldn’t be left unsupervised.

Yoonseok - Okay. You know how I said I didn’t have favorites? Well, if I DID, it would be this one. Hoseok is afraid of nearly everything and whenever he’s scared, he goes straight to Yoongi. And Yoongi is never anything but patient and kind about it – and possibly the most tactile he ever is with anyone in those moments. He LIKES being this outlet for Hobi and never fails to pump him up before he has to do something scary. Their Sope stuff is just so funny and silly and amazing. Hoseok brings out the most joyous part of Yoongi, and Yoongi allows Hoseok to be himself. They’re the rapper bros who probably spend more time in the studio giggling together than actually getting work done. 

Sugamon - These two have been through some SHIT together and made it to the other side, bonded by fire. They know each other’s darkness and wounded places better than anyone else, but it’s only made them kinder and more gentle with one another. The way the interact on stage when one of them is rapping? Ooph. They support each other so well. I imagine their creative styles don’t always mesh, but they have worked so hard to find middle ground. Yoongi’s quiet caretaking and Namjoon’s propensity to get trapped in his own head are a perfect match sometimes. They’re the musical artist bros who will always have each other’s backs.

Yoonmin - “You know.” “I know.” UGH. These two are my bias and bias wrecker, so it’s only reasonable that I love this pairing. Plus, the sunshine/grump dynamic is always fun. Jimin can get away with shit that no other dongsaeng would even attempt. Yoongi is so whipped for him, I cannot believe it. They look out for one another in very specific ways. They’re the perfectionist bros who pull each other back from the brink at just the right moment. 

Taegi - Taehyung seeks Yoongi’s approval more than the other hyungs. Yoongi finds Taehyung charming and infuriating in equal measure. It’s more sunshine/grump dynamic, but it’s different. I have a feeling that, in the early days, Tae kind of exhausted Yoongi. But you can also see a deep bond and a fuckton of affection between the two of them. In group things where Tae is being ridiculous, you can almost always find Yoongi in the back with a hand over his own mouth or his lips pressed tight, trying not to lose it over how adorable Tae is. They’re the Daegu bros who’ve found the same rhythm.

Sugakookie - I think Yoongi is kind of stunned by Kookie and his abilities – he’s always one to unabashedly appreciate talent. And Kook, well, sometimes when he looks at Yoongi, I get the strangest vision of a toddler wearing a toolbelt so he can build stuff just like his dad. Their adorable recurring bit about the lamb skewers is sweet and brotherly and I love it. They’re the “sleep is for the weak, sleep is for a week” bros who probably need someone else to tell them both when to quit. 

Namseok - There is not enough Namseok in this world either (there’s not enough HOSEOK in this world, let alone Hoseok paired with another hyung, but that’s a different too-long post). Namjoon wants nothing more than to shove Hoseok into the spotlight where he belongs (they way he hyped Hobi’s intro and 1Verse and a million other things? My heart). And Hoseok may be a moodmaker with everyone, but he’s especially attuned to Namjoon’s mood – he can bring a gentle peace to Joon in the most turbulent times (I cannot stop thinking of them on Navy Pier in Chicago on Now 3, just a week after the threat in NYC). I think that Namjoon might be Hoseok’s quiet place, and Hoseok is a special kind of comfort to Joon.  They’re the 94 liner bros who need each other like air.

Jihope - We probably have the most “candid” footage of these two, both in volume and in actual honesty. They are always playing around with cameras together. Their friendship is easy and fun and incredibly supportive. They pester each other so much and cannot keep their hands to themselves. They help each other burn off excess energy backstage. They’re probably the most likely to take a joke too far but also the fastest to forgive each other. They’re the empath bros who help one another recharge. 

Vhope - The silliness between these two. Hobi indulges all of Tae’s random thoughts and Tae is more than happy to play with Hoseok when the mood strikes him. I’ve always said that in the Bangtan Family where Jin is the mom, Joon is the Dad, and Yoongi is the uncle/grandpa, that Hoseok is the noona who takes care of the kids when the actual adults are too tired. This is never more apparent than with Vhope. Jimin is the mom of the maknae line and Kook often refuses to be mothered (except by Jin and usually only on his terms), so Tae is the best and most willing outlet for Hobi’s cheek-pinching form of nurturing. They’re the skinship bros who have to be told a million times a day to calm down and shut up and they don’t actually care at all. 

Junghope - There’s something so comfortable and natural about these two together. They dance hard and play hard and aren’t afraid to ask each other for what they need. I especially think of the Bomb where Hoseok asks Kookie to pet his hair to help him sleep (which Kook indulges with a soft smile) and the episode of Bon Voyage where koala’s the hell out of him and plays with HIS hair. They’re more… equal(?) than any other pairing between the hung line and the maknae line, despite the age gap. It’s almost like age doesn’t matter to them. They’re the dance bros who can calm each other with just one touch.

Minjoon - Another not-picking-favorites favorite. Jimin looks at Namjoon like he hung he moon and Namjoon looks at Jimin like he IS the moon. If Jin is Joon’s Safe Place, then Jimin is his Home Base. He just melts whenever Jimin is involved. On the flipside, Jimin needs to be needed and Joon is able to drop the leader mantle and need Jimin *outloud.* In fact, I think there are times that Joon thinks he’s taking care of Jimin and Jimin is only letting him believe that because he knows Namjoon needed someone to take care of right then. They’re the over-thinker bros who always put the other first and, in so doing, manage to heal themselves.

Vmon - I would really like to know Tae’s IQ because I think it has to be nearly as high as Joon’s. Or maybe his intelligence and pattern-finding and out-of-the-box thinking can’t be measured in the same way. But no matter, these boys are both geniuses and their artistic interests follow the same unconventional path. They probably have really interesting conversations about the most random shit. Plus, Joon finds Taehyung stinking adorable and Taehyung wants to impress him all the time. They’re the artsy fashion bros who probably believe they care about the other more than is reciprocated because they both believe they’re simultaneously too much and no enough. 

Kookiemonster - Oh man, this relationship is defined by hero worship amped to eleven. But the funny thing is, it kiiiiind of flows both ways. I think Namjoon is just as impressed with Kook as Yoongi is. And, although he’d probably never admit it out loud, Joon positively thrives on the attention Kook gives him. And Jungkook wants nothing more than Namjoon’s attention. He chose BigHit out of all the other agencies scouting him BECAUSE OF Namjoon. But Nams is ceaselessly impressed by all the things that Jungkook can do and how hard he works and lets him know it. They’re the hero bros who make some of the best collabs.

Vmin - They’re two halves of the same whole, destined to be each other’s Person. They’re best friends and partners in crime and always game for whatever scheme the other has and unafraid to talk about the important and the mundane and everything in between. They’re the soulmate bros who will live next door to one another long after Bangtan and raise their kids side-by-side and turn into grumpy old men together, mark my words.

Jikook - Listen. I have many many things to say about Jikook and I’ve said most of them before. But in addition to those things, Jungkook looks startlingly similar to Jimin’s actual little brother and if you don’t think that impacts their dynamic, then you’re crazy. The push-pull between them that so many people interpret wrongly (and abusively more often than not) is mostly due to Jimin’s instinct to baby him and Jungkook’s desperate desire to prove himself. But their brotherhood bond is STRONG and irrefutable. They’re the peacock and bunny bros who laugh their way through very real and very useful competition.

Taekook - I cannot think of a better description than littermates. They are both PUPPIES with boundless energy and enthusiasm who love each other simply because they’re brothers and why WOULDN’T THEY? They’re the video-game playing, anime-watching, snack-time-turned-wrestling-match kind of friends and it’s simple and pure and occasionally violent but don’t for one second mistake that for shallow or temporary. They’re the bro-iest bros that ever bro-ed.

OH! And listen. I do not ever participate in ship wars (who the fuck even has TIME for that?), but there is one ship-related fight I’m always ready to have and it’s about SHIP NAMES. My god, people. It’s not Yoonkook. You have the opportunity (and fandom support) for the name SUGAKOOKIE and you choose Yoonkook? That’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this works. The only ones I might be able to bend on are Sope and Sin, but even then… Boys, you were too late to that party and the names have already been decided by ARMY. Sorry. Taekook know what’s up, though.

*I don’t technically have kids, but that’s really only a matter of biology and not affection because I’m a spare parent to two amazing and wonderful kiddos and I’m also an auntie-ish thing to about nine more (plus an actual biological auntie to two MORE), so I think the comment still stands. And I totally don’t pick favorites. Never. Not once. Not even on the days involving poop and tantrums. Nope. Never happened. And you can’t prove that it did.
