Yandere Sully Family
AO3
Pairings: Yandere/Dark! Sully Family X Human Pet! f!Reader
Summary: General headcanons about yandere Sully family and their human pet.
Warnings: Possible +18 implies, yandere, dark, obsession, possession, controlling behaviours, dehumanization, human!pet reader, forced age regressed reader, forced age regression, kidnapped reader, naive!reader, forced family, forced baths, no privacy to the reader, mentally weird family, possible missed warnings
A/N: Tuk & reader are not and will never be sexually portrayed together, pls don't you ever think that. Kiri, Neteyam, Lo'ak, Spider and the reader are not minors. I'm calling them kids because they have parents and they live together, so. Some subconscious platonic & romantic dubcon/noncon can be sensed, it's a yandere family after all. You've been warned.
Tumblr media
What a beautiful little human you are. Needs a mask to survive, oww... Why were you even there? Cute little creature... looking so lost and scared. What a vulnerable, delicate pet! They all love you so, so much, you can be sure of that. So stop crying, it doesn't suit you. There's no point in you crying and begging for them to take you home. There's no way they can understand you unless you don't speak English or Na'vi. They love it when you speak, since they don't understand whether you curse or beg. All they hear is your sweet voice and weird words.
It doesn't make any difference if you speak English anyway. They just sush you immediately. Neytiri and Jake give you some gentle punishments if you happen to curse. Doesn't matter if one of the kids snitches on you or you curse directly to their face. They're afraid of hurting you, but they scare you by getting angry and hissing. Grabbing your tiny little arm and squeezing it or putting you somewhere high and not taking you down until you apologize works fine. Maybe some spanks on your butt too. But the whole "gentle" process is scary enough for you.
Neteyam punishes you by himself too. Since he sees himself as the responsible one and he's the oldest brother, he takes it as his duty to take care of you. He already gets orders from his father to keep an eye on his siblings and you, but he has this weird urge to make sure that you're bring a good girl. He's not the one who snitches on you, but he blackmails you, telling you to obey what he says or he'll tell his dad. He never gives you away, though. But you fall for that every time, how amusing. He lectures you in a serious tone and explains why you're not allowed to curse. Then he gives you a punishment like his father does to him. "No more speaking for the rest of the day, understood?" He needs to see if you behave. It's important for him to know that you see him as an authoritative figure. He wants to have an authority over you like his parents have over you and them.
Jake knows that some humans are weak in nature and they get scared very often, especially the little ones like you. After Jake tells Neytiri that you need some belongings in order to feel safe and it's just how human brain works, Neytiri refuses him to go and grab some for you. She wants to make them by herself, even though the concept of it is strange for her. Needing to cover yourself so you can feel safe and protected? She can hold you in her arms! Even though she can't understand, she makes a nonfunctional blanket. She wants to see you feel safe around "her" craft. After all, you need to feel safe around your new family and only around them. You belong to them, what do you mean you need outside belongings in order to feel safe? Isn't your family enough?
Jake finds a way to provide some of your human wants and needs anyway. And he knows that you have to stay in the base regularly. Humans can't just live outside constantly. He knows he can trust Spider for keeping you safe and "secured". Jake discusses this with Neytiri, the kids talk to their mom and make her see your point. She wants you with her all the time, it's so painful to let you go. But she eventually accepts, since all she wants is for you to stay with them without causing any troubles, and of course, for you to be happy and healthy. Neytiri also builds a nest for you because apparently it's necessary for your emotional comfort and Jake, of course, makes some "small" changes. Neytiri is not happy about them but again, Jake knows humans better than anyone else.
The family just want to fill your growling tummy with lots of delicious human-friendly food, hold you in their arms, pet your soft little body, tuck you in a handmade blanket (not actually warm since Pandora is hot enough) and give you a handmade stuffed animal or something because for them, it's highly possible that you get scared. Sometimes Tuk tells her mom that you're so timid. Kiri says you're so quiet. Lo'ak argues that you need to leave your nest more often and join him to explore the world around you. Neteyam thinks you're not capable of taking care of yourself and you need protection, that's why you should stay in your nest. Spider supports Lo'ak, but he knows you'll check every oportunity to run. He thinks Lo'ak would trust you too much and leave you alone for a while or stop watching you. He would never do that.
Neytiri washes you personally. She can do it in front of anyone, doesn't matter. You're her baby and you can't do it on your own. You're just so weak and... it's so complex for you. It's not something to be scared of, why are you crying? Why are your cheeks get red everytime? Maybe she needs Jake to help. If he's not around Kiri, Neteyam or Lo'ak can help their mom very well. It's not their first time holding you in their arms while Neytiri washes you. You just need someone to hold you, right? "Shh... Just breathe, just breathe..." They say while their mom cleans you.
You don't wear human clothes. Neytiri covers your private areas similar to theirs. Similar to Spider, but you wear special materials. She doesn't understand why you make a fuss when she makes you wear them. "Kiri! Hold her." Kiri totally ignores how naked you are and pulls you in her lap after sitting on the ground. "Shh... It's okay." She whispers into your ear while her mother holds your leg. "Neteyam, bring her... MaJake, what was it called?" You scream and try to kick her but she hisses and makes you whimper. "It's pacifier, baby."
But she understands why you make a fuss when Spider tries to paint your body like his. Although she'd like to see you as one of them, she doesn't like Spider a bit. She looks at Jake. "I don't want him around my baby, he belongs with his own kind." Then she hisses at Spider, wanting to grab you, but Lo'ak defends him. He stands between Spider and his mom, trying to convince her. "No, no! It was my idea. She'll look so cute in blue, trust me." Then Tuk says. "Pleaseee!" Neytiri doesn't want to upset her kids and lets Spider to paint you, only to wash you afterwards.
Spider is a human born, yes, but mentally this guy's a true Na'vi. You were excited to see him for the first time, hoping he'd help you out of this messed up situation. But he came out as sick as the others. He's feral, he paints himself, he covers only one part of his body, he hisses... Human body, Na'vi mind. You're so shocked about it. Why would anyone do this willingly? Why would he want to be one of them? Did they brainwash him? No, no... He was sick already!
You're just beyond upset because you were so close to escape when you met this crazy family. While running around, you saw Spider and you thought you could trust him. He's a human, after all. Instead of keep running, you stopped and let him grasp your arms. You thought he was just worried because you were crying. You ignored his tight grip. You begged him to save you. "Hey, hey... Don't cry, okay? I'll help you. C'mon, this way!" Then he brought you to his "brother" Lo'ak. You've never felt so betrayed before. Apparently Spider was looking for you with the rest of the family. "Thanks bro!" Lo'ak said and wrapped one of his arms around you, while the other went to his neck. "Devil Dog, Devil Dog, this is Eagle Eye, over." ... "Spider found her, she's with me."
Jake was also a human once, but it was a very long time ago. He feels like he's born and raised in Pandora. He sees himself as one of them, not a human. His human life wasn't... well, perfect. Even though he was lost and didn't know who he was before, he later found his true purpose. "A father protects. It's what gives him meaning." You are his family too, except... you're more like a little pet to him. He doesn't see you as a fellow human or an equal. You're just one of the sky people, except you're innocent and naive. You could never hurt even the smallest flower. That's why he wants to protect you. He wants to protect your pure heart and pure mind.
And that's why Eywa loves you too. Everyone is aware of that Eywa watches over you. They know it since the first time they saw you. They witness it every time woodsprites lay on you. But especially Kiri, she can almost feel that Eywa loves you. She can't explain it, she just knows it. It makes Kiri push closer to you, she can feel the bond between you getting stronger because of this. Kiri loves to show you the world through her eyes. She wants you to see and feel Eywa the way she does. Expect a lot of spirutal trips with her. You want to run while she lays down and zooms out, but Spider always comes with you to keep an eye on you.
Kiri is the spiritual one, you coded her like that. She always says something about Eywa whenever she's with you. You can relax a little around her since she doesn't tire you. All she wants is for you to listen. She takes your tiny hand and place it on your heart. "Close your eyes." Then she keeps talking and explaining the world around you. You often fall asleep with her. Then one of them carries you to your nest.
Lo'ak is the careless one, at least, to an extent. He's also your chance to escape. He often tries to steal you from them and take you with him. "We're gonna have so much fun together." Sometimes you go to him and pull his arm, pointing the forest. You want to go very often. Spider, of course knows what's happening unlike Lo'ak. You wanna go alone and get mad whenever Spider or someone else wants to join. You try to push Spider and yell. "Whoa, whoa... Calm down. It's not gonna happen."
Tuk is the tiring one. She just wants to play with you all the time. Please jump around with her and play like her age. When you sit and do nothing, which happens all the time, she complains. "C'monnn, get up! Why are you doing this?" She pulls your arm and makes you stand up, but you sit back and turn around. You're so stubborn.
Neteyam is the responsible one, you can say. He's always around and always checking on you and his siblings. Partly because his father demands it, but mostly because he wants to do it. But you notice him paying exta attention to you. He often gives you some food and kneels, watches you as you slowly bite it and look at his eyes. He expects a thank you and you give him. He thought you how to act in certain situations. He loves to pet your head and smile. "Let's lay down together. You can sleep on my chest."
Neytiri is the possessive one. She's already very protective of her family and she's extremely jealous of you. You're like her adoptive child, but not quite like Kiri. She sees Kiri as an intelligent being and equal to her children. You're totally like a reactive human... doll or something. She literally treats you like a brainless pet and she makes you feel like you don't have any capacity of thinking by yourself. You hate it so much. She expands her arms and nearly babytalks to you while smiling. "Come, my baby. Come to me."
Jake is the leader in your eyes. You notice how he leads his family. He knows how to be strategic and how to make a move. After all, he was a marine. Neytiri wants to attack right away, but Jake stops her and explains why they should wait or do something else. And he shows his leader side by wanting to make sure you have everything. Is your nest comfortable for a human? Are you healthy for a human? How much do you sleep? He makes sure that you meet your human needs. He places you in his lap and checks your body to see if there's any injuries. He touches it gently and examines every part of your body. You yelp and struggle in his arms. "Shh... easy, baby girl. We're so grumpy today, huh?"
Spider technically isn't family, but... he is actually. Neytiri hates dislikes him, Neteyam has his own priorities, Jake has other stuff to think about and Tuk simply couldn't care less. That's all. This situation doesn't seem to bother him, though. He just wants to hang out with Lo'ak and Kiri. And you. He's the watcher. Always, always makes sure that you're not running away. You hate him. "Hey, where are you going?"
Each of them is creepy in their own way. But what they have in common is somehow you. It's like you're their center. Joy, anxiety, sadness, love, passion... everything converges on you. You have no idea why they're so obsessed with you and if you'll ever manage to escape. But honestly, you don't have much hope. You slowly let them brainwash you and make you their pet in time. Maybe the only way to move on is by giving up. "Sullys stick together. That was our greatest weakness, and our great strength."

Afraid of Falling in Love
Short drabble before class
You cared about Jing Yuan more than you liked to admit. The two of you had known each other for a while, you getting to meet the esteemed figure after the fall out of the High Cloud Quintet. You'd been friends for hundreds of years, and for the last hundred or so you've been struggling to keep the relationship together.
You never would've expected it to be so difficult so be friends with someone you loved romantically.
You'd always been afraid of getting close to people, even now Jing Yuan was one of your two friends. You'd been alive hundreds of years and experienced countless betrayals that came with some problems. It wasn't anything big but all of the small things piled up.
You looked at Jing Yuan warily but he remained calm, his catlike smile ever present on his face, laying there lazily. You couldn't understand why he would trust outsiders with such an important task. He should've sent someone like you to go capture Kafka, what if these people were secretly working with Kafka? What if someone on the Xianzhou was working with Kafka?
What if... Jing Yuan himself was working with Kafka? Your heart dropped, quivering fearfully in its cage. He'd sent the outsiders knowing they would fail-- no, no that didn't make any sense.
"Something wrong?" His deep voice pulled you out your thoughts, easing your nerves. It was a wonderful voice, one you could listen to all day, you had to wonder what other noises it could make. How would his-- no, bad thoughts.
You trusted Jing Yuan sure, but... he was a native resident of the Xianzhou he'd eventually succumb to mara, and so would you. How could either of you trust the other?
One day one of you would be replaced by a monstrous creature, one that may threaten to kill not only citizens but the person you hold dearest. One day it would all be over. To love someone is to allow them to hold your vulnerable heart in threatening hands and trust that they won't do anything. It is to know neither of you will ever hurt the other.
It hurts most to be hurt by those you love, even if they're no longer themselves.
"Y/N?" The voice chimed again, and you blinked looking over to Jing Yuan across the chess board, "Are you upset with me?" His eyes looked at you with so much love you wanted to run away.
You moved the chariot piece in an attempt to corner him, "No, I trust in your judgement." He ignored your move, continuing to gaze into your eyes, causing you to shift a bit of anxiety welling up in your heart.
Jing Yuan reached across the board, resting his hand on yours, "But are you upset with me?"
You frowned, looking down at his warm hand feeling the callouses on it, "How could I ever be upset with you?"
"You're upset with yourself then," He concluded, removing his hand, and standing up with ease, walking over to you, his feet hitting the wooden floor.
You looked up at him quizzically, eyes drifting down to the hand he offered you. "Not really," You took his hand, feeling your heart speed up. You felt nauseated at being so close to him. It wasn't a particularly bad feeling though. But you felt sick.
Jing Yuan helped you up and then smiled at you, moving too fast for you to react and placing his lips on your cheek. "Be kind to yourself. Be happy for what we have now."
Sure, the two of you weren't in a relationship. You were pretty sure he was just waiting for you but... one day he won't be him, and you'll be forced to see him become what you've been taught to despise the most. But wouldn't it be best to enjoy his company while you still can?
You can't stop yourself from being in love, no matter how afraid of it you are.
Love is love, that's all.
am slightly sick so missed class today, which included a quiz, emailed teacher about it
teacher is like sorry we don't do makeup work
i'll keep that in mind if ur ever late on a grade i don't accept late grades and if you're ever too sick to teach class i'm not doing the work for that day unless if we do it another day in class.
it's very tilting considering in the past when i was in highschool we had a perfect attendance award (key word had) until some kid threw up 5x in one day while in school. bro refused to go home bcus he wanted the award.
don't incentivize students to come to class sick.

A Hopeless Lovestory: Malleus Draconia x Reader
A/N: Piggybacking off of my “Malleus is exactly like Gomez Addams as a partner,” post. Why? Because I will die with this. This is Malleus, or at least my interpretation of him. Yes yes, I love picturing him as the cute dorky fae that’s behind with tech times and wants friendship. It’s cute. But this? This. I stand with. Man lives in Victorian Fae land, surrounded by dark magic, will never work a day in his life, and is a hopeless romantic. This is my tribute to how much of a SIMP Malleus is.
From the moment he saw you, he was utterly entranced. Naturally he hid his affections for a time, as a man only grovels when given permission. He had not once yearned for another until you. Never felt  blood run through his veins like wildfire against his cold skin. Merely being in your vicinity makes him wish to be in constant contact
The moment you appeared in the outer garden that fateful night. In his once secret escapade, surrounded by fireflies and gleaming with an otherworldly aura. He did not miss the fear in your eyes at his appearance, yet you did not fear him - no, you were merely startled.
Yet for a brief moment, his heart shuddered in tune with your surprised yelp. The way your cheeks flushed a brilliant hue and pupils doubled in size. Lips slightly parted and a bit chapped from the crisp night air.
Vulnerable. At his mercy. In that moment Malleus knew, he would soon court you.
He merely bides his time, waiting painfully long for you to discover his true identity. Yet, love is torture. Sweet, blissful torture that he absolutely relishes in. Your words ebb at his heart with a searing blade and it feels divine.
"Tsunotaro" he wants to hear his name, Malleus, fall from your lips. Yet the pseudo-name is a badge of honor, and he wears it pridefully.
The day comes when you find out his identity - and he wastes no time in requesting your courtship. You do not understand the absolute agony he has undergone while waiting. To not openly love? A sin. Not the Briar Valley way, and surely not befitting of a Draconia. He has passed the first trial of waiting for your hand, and now is willing to be destroyed further on the path to becoming your lover.
and yes, courtship is necessary. He would ask permission of those you hold dearest, as is noble custom. Alas, you have come to Twisted Wonderland alone and so -
Ah - - the feral beast and first-year guardsmen do indeed exist. Alright, merely another hurdle to prove his love. He will shower them all with riches and offerings to win their approval. If that does not work?
Well, the Draconia do not give up. He is not adverse to more, let's say, macabre methods of welcoming them into his inner circle. Pray tell Sir Grimm, will unlimited tuna suffice or would you like to decide the matter over chess? Oh no, not the boorish tabletop game. Malleus was thinking along the lines of live-action; where is the fun without a little adrenaline rush?
Your world is suddenly turned awry. Every meal is prepared with the highest quality ingredients, a new jewel adorns your figure every day - if it shines too bright, he discards it for over shrouding your beauty. If it is too dull? He scorns the seller for thinking such dreary gems could we worthy of touching your skin. Fresh flowers coated in pixie dust appear at your door every morning, and make your entire body glisten when tucked behind your ear or in your hair.
Any interest you have he is suddenly a connoisseur in. Even if it is not something he enjoyed before, now he does because you love it. As money is no obstacle, he often funds your hobbies while hiring private tutors to become involved. You enjoy gardening? Suddenly, he is raising many Venus fly traps. They remind him of your relationship, and how you managed to lure him in just enough to strike. To you, he is merely one possible prey in thousands. To him, you are an irresistible temptation that he willingly offers himself to.
You enjoy art? Allow him to take you on a tour of all the paintings in his mansion. You can admire them together, sipping on light alcohol and existing under the dim moonlight shining through the open windows. Allow him to paint you. He will practice for hours to get every feature right, and will allow no other to attempt. Only he can stare at you for so long.
What of music? Would you be willing to waltz on the day, across the velvet carpet of his bedroom floor as music drifts in from the orchestra in the garden. Lay your head against his chest as he hums along, listening as the vibrations of his vocal chords mix with his erratic heartbeat - which can only be steadied by your gentle caress.
or do you take to sport? He is quite the active fellow. Apprehensive to dangerous activities, his heart stills as you fly through the air racing on your broomsticks, nearly running each other out of the sky. Or as steady jabs hit too close to dangerous zones during swordplay.
Yet the fright is exhilarating all the same, keeping his lust for your company alive
He is at your beck and call. As he will be your king.
Malleus continues with his courtship until the end of your final year at Night Raven College. His graduation occurred long prior, yet he spends more time at the school than at Briar Valley.
"A moment without you is a moment spent in purgatory," no noble or advisor could keep him in the valley beyond his duties. Even then he did not want to perform, and often was caught penning lovesick letters to send your way. A master magician turned into a functionless machine.
Said advisors dared not to question their master's choice. Not after fair warning from general Vanrouge and threats of the Draconia bloodline running dry.
After graduation awaits a carriage. At the coach's seat is Silver, sitting atop your favorite cheeky murderous vampire (soon to be step-father), and in front is Sebeck. The moment you step outside all three are kneeling at your feet with one hand on their chest.
Out steps Malleus, eager to welcome you to life beyond NRC walls. With a vast new world to explore, he senses your wings just beginning to spread for flight. It is then he strikes, dismissing his found family and kneeling at your feet. He takes your hand and produces a singular blood-red rose from thin air. Thorns still attached and stem long. He holds it out and requests you as his lover.
"I dare not clip your wings at first flight, yet can I trust in your homecoming to my side on land?"
You take the rose gently from his fingertips, and as the thorns prick your skin he smells fresh blood. Another trail surpassed, and he cannot fathom a life without you in it. Still kneeling on the floor, he takes your hand and places a soft kiss on each knuckle.
You become the lover of the future king. His weakness, and bargaining chip. Malleus's devotion to you is unquestionable and known throughout his entire kingdom. You would one day become their (King/Queen/Ruler), and any who dared to speak against it were snuffed before rumors could reach your ears
Malleus has his study extended to accommodate two. It is the only way he works proficiently, guided by the sound of you going about your own responsibilities across the room. He'd prefer you to never lift a finger - for you to be spoiled. Alas, you insist and who is he to deny? Especially when you are studying his native tongue to better communicate with his people
Well, that is the reason you gave. He knows better.
“Mon amour, je t'adore. Je tuerais pour toi. Je mourrais pour toi. Quoi qu'il en soit, c'est le bonheur”
Malleus insists on speaking to you in French. Not only because it is the language of his people, but because he delights in the way it sends a shiver down your spine. Your unhinged pleasure from the vibrations of his voice as he places kisses along your arms - he knows what it does to you.
After all, it has the same effect on him. Whether you reciprocate in his preferred language, or another that you've chosen to study. Somehow he knows exactly what you're saying (magic? who knows)
He cannot share lodgings with you quite yet. Ever the gentlemen, his desire must remain curbed until the day comes when he can chain you to his soul forever. Yet he knows you are not prepared for the process
Yet he does not hold back from sharing his displeasure on the matter. Every night ends with heated kisses at your door. His hands roaming everywhere you’ll allow as he pecks incessantly from your eyes to your cheek to your collar. Torturing himself, knowing that he must let you go in the one room he cannot enter.
You are escorted everywhere in briar valley by him personally or his family. Malleus does not trust anyone other than himself, Lilia, Silver, or Sebeck to keep you safe and happy. His stubbornness has lead to government officials begging you to pacify him, or at least make him complete his work before going out
If you eye anything for the briefest of moments while out, it is being purchased and sent to your living quarters. He has instructed this of the other three as well.
Fresh flowers are cut each morning by his hand. They are arranged in a vase of his choosing and sent to your room along with breakfast. Malleus does not miss a day, and each arrangement has a specific meaning in the language of flowers. He feels extra smitten when you guess correctly.
When at your side, you are his priority in all aspects. If it begins to rain then he enchants a waterproof bubble where you sit. If the ground is dirty, he would rather you step over his coat than tarnish your shoes. If you become tired then he will carry you throughout the kingdom without shame, be it on a stroll or flight. If you wear glasses, then he will always carry a handkerchief for you to clean them.
If you say his tie looks lovely, then suddenly it is his favorite item in the world and he has five exact replicas.
When you share a meal together, he offends his butlers by tending to your every need. Pulling out your chair, pouring your drink, and you are always seated at his side no matter if it is a social gathering or just the two of you
Eventually there will come a day where not only are you a necessity for him, but for his people. When his self-fulfilled prophecy finally becomes reality and his final act of service begins
For Fae, everlasting partnership begins with a quest. The more difficult the quest, the more bountiful the union will be. He had been biding his time for the day you’d ask something of him, and you did not disappoint. As future partner to the King, he would need to complete a life-changing quest in order to wed you
Malleus once again finds himself in a firefly filled garden behind a rickety old dormitory. With stone gargoyle's glaring down at him from each corner, he presents you with the one thing no other in Twisted Wonderland succeeded in doing
A gateway to your homeland. A mirror taken from the very room you once called home. How funny that the most confounded things end up coming with the simplest answers
He gets on one knee, placing the mirror at your feet and pulling a ring from his breast-pocket. Its gem is fashioned from a piece of his personal mage stone, glowing bright green in contrast to the obsidian band it rests within.
“On this night, I ask you to become my beloved. For eternity, until the stars fall from the sky and magma scorns us beneath the earth’s crust. Choose now, to join me in the future or dwell in the past. Know that my heart will beat only for you, in this world or any other,”
Love is pain. A sin. Punishment. Malleus accepted this pleasureful agony the day he laid eyes upon you. He has placed you above all worldly desires.
Now he asks for you to do the same. Destroy the gate you have been searching for and tie your life to his. His quest.
He watches in satisfaction as your foot cracks glass, and slides the ring upon your finger with ease. He eyes the jewel with eyes full of love, knowing that you will never part.

Crowley walking all sexy and slutty like up to that bloke at the pub table and saying “hello~” while eluding “hi yeah I’m the husband” energy reminded me of something and I couldn’t figure out what it was until I rewatched an episode of Lucifer and. IT'S LITERALLY HIM Y’ALL HE SAYS IT THE EXACT SAME WAY I’m losing it over here
and then I was thinking about it and they’re actually so similar that it hurts, and I sort of fell down a rabbit hole of Lucifer scenes that are just so Crowley.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They just want someone to accept and love them but they’ve accepted that that will never happen so they try to play the role of the strong, powerful one who can’t be hurt,
Tumblr media
and only show their vulnerabilities to the person that they love the most, all while believing that love can never be reciprocated.
(they’re also both the ‘I make jokes about my trauma’ type which is always appreciated- btw Amenadiel reminds me a lot of Aziraphale, though obviously not in any romantic way with Lucifer, but especially with his inner conflict with Heaven in s2/3)
Tumblr media
so basically they’re so similar and would in fact be besties if the shows existed in the same universe because imagine-
Lucifer, drunk, post-s3 breakup: Chloe tried to poison me after abandoning me for like months and months bc who I really was wasn’t someone she could love
Crowley, drunker, post-divorce and taking notes: oh so that’s what’ll happen when he comes back good to know good to know
Plus the whole “God on earth” plot line feels like something that COULD happen in s3 maybe?? And Lucifer’s time with God was one of my favorite arcs because he was so (justifiably) angry but when it came down to it and God apologized, all Lucifer ever wanted was that love, and his barriers just came crashing down and he allowed his fathers love to be given to him
Tumblr media
They're in vastly different circumstances and situations, sure, and their love stories with their respective slow burns are definitely very different, though with some similarities (most notably Chloe leaving at the end of s3 once realizing who he really is, which can be compared to Aziraphale unintentionally implying that he was leaving Crowley because Crowley could never be enough for him as a demon), but the really are so similar.
"why do I hate myself so much?" seems very much like a line that Crowley could spit out with so much venom in s3 when drunk off his ass and I am here for it.

Hey! Could you write a Yandere Hector Doyle with a reader who is trying to escape him? And she maybe get caught by him and gets punished for this? This would be so cool! Thank you in advance :DDD
Ooh, I’ve been wanting to write something about the death row convicts and I think you picked the perfect yandere for it. Doyle is my favorite.
Yandere! Hector Doyle x Reader Headcanons
Featuring Hector Doyle and his escapee reader that should know better. Warning: Dubious consent/non-consent, violence
Tumblr media
Doyle likes to think that life has a certain degree of determinism to it. But not in the romantic, fateful sense of higher meaning waiting to plan out. Rather a mathematical logic, a Markov chain that takes its course based on what the current state has to offer. So what begins to unfold with assumed probability might only need a little push in order to derail. Look at him, for example. He came to Tokyo so he could taste defeat and ended up absolutely smitten with you instead. Which, in a way, could be considered as the fulfillment of his initial goal. All of his intentions have been crushed within the second he laid his eyes on you.
And what’s so special about you, anyways? He doesn’t know himself. Maybe it’s the way you stopped when he asked you for directions, so innocent and oblivious to the fact that a death row convict stood before you. He could’ve ended you in an instant. You just smiled, browsing your phone for the location. Not a single tense muscle, nor the faintest suspicion of the immediate danger. Utterly defenseless, at the mercy of his disposition. He briefly pictured his protracted blades soundlessly puncturing your throat, followed by your pretty little face twisted in asphyxiated panic.
Tsk, no good. If you were this unconcerned with him, how long would it be until someone actually acted on these perverted thoughts? You’re pitifully vulnerable. Once the idea of foreign hands having their way with you settles in, it becomes apparent to him that he must interfere. Why it would bother him so much is beyond explanation. As rational of a man he is, Doyle also doesn’t mind giving in to his vices. Otherwise he wouldn’t have landed in prison. Or on a plane to Japan.
Oh, what corruption you’ve brought into his very soul. Obsession has seeped into every sulcus of his brain, throbbing with demands. He must have you, and most importantly he must keep you away from others. A wild rescue that has failed to show their survival capacity is condemned to a life in a fenced sanctuary. You’re no good outside. You have no sense of self-preservation, otherwise you wouldn’t have willingly embraced his presence without any attempt of guarding yourself.
Therefore, it should be rather obvious that remaining with him is the best case scenario. You no longer need to worry about outside threats under his fail proof protection. Spending time with you has also shown him that you’re not dumb by any means. Quite the opposite. So why are you acting so foolish right now, (Y/N)? Running away from your guaranteed safety and well-being…ludicrous.
What’s even more preposterous is thinking that you can actually escape. It should be clear to you by now that everything you’ve done wasn’t a mark of your volition, but of his benevolence. He has been allowing you to do things. Don’t mistake that for freedom. It seems you’ve forgotten, and as always he’ll be so kind as to remind you where you belong.
His kindness, however, seems to have led to your misdemeanors. Perhaps this reminder needs to be in the form of a punishment. Hah, forced discipline was a favorite toy of prison guards. Doyle, unfortunately, is not someone that easily bows down to authority. You, on the other hand… He can see it in your wide, frightened eyes, just how much power he holds over you.
An involuntary shiver crosses your back once you discover his approaching figure. You’ve been caught, and Doyle might not be as forgiving this time. You feel yourself becoming smaller in the shadow of your captor, pondering on your possible sentences. Like the helpless body being torn apart in Goya’s “Saturn devouring his son”, the only thing in front of you is blackness. The entrance of a starved, hungry mouth, ready to swallow you whole. Don’t ever leave him again, (Y/N). You know his only mistake is loving you too much.

Marc has never considered himself dramatic. And he certainly has never considered himself a romantic. He hates the heavy rain, hates the way that water pelting down on his skin makes him feel so tiny. So small. Like he’s just a helpless boy again.
So why is he running through mud and greenery in hopes of finding you in this soon-to-be thunderstorm storm?
This is not the time, not the place, and you’re not the person he should be getting involved with. Marc stopped pretending he didn’t want you a long time ago, but that hasn’t encouraged him to make a move. You deserve better. He deserves to have his shit figured out before pulling you into the tornado that is his life— the life he feels like is sometimes not his own, the one he shares with an ancient bird. He’s out here looking for you to keep you safe, not to tell you how he truly feels. Not to finish the conversation you’d practically cornered him into. Not to be honest. He had abandoned honesty the moment his mother turned on him.
Khonshu’s latest target has brought you all here. Somewhere in the grassy wilderness, rolling hills dotted with small ponds that are tucked between towering forests. It's beautiful, or at least it would be if you all weren’t here to kill someone. If you weren’t overstimulated, stomping (and occasionally tripping) through the muddy forest trying to put as much space between you and the man you’ve accidentally fallen in love with.
At this rate, you’re soaked to the bone, and your clothes are sticking uncomfortably to your skin. But, as you peer up through the trees letting the rain hit your face, it feels like it’s washing everything away. It feels like for just a moment, you get to sit in anonymity. After attempting to be so vulnerable with Marc back at the cabin, it's exactly what you need.
You’re just a small being in an expansive forest and it feels good. You have no desires, no words, no feelings. It’s just you and the rain. You stop walking, focusing on the cold raindrops, teeth chatterng. Cold as it is…it feels like a temporary peace.
Peace that is quickly taken away when you hear Marc’s voice echoing through the trees, calling out your name. You start walking again, though this time your feet have less force and more speed. You don't want him to catch up with you, you're not ready to be seen again just yet, not even at face value.
As you continue to trot forward, Marc’s voice waxes and wanes behind you. Sometimes it’s softer, allowing you to relax but then it grows louder and your heartbeat picks up along with your pace. You know that he’ll catch you, whether he uses his abilities or not. But you’ll outrun him as long as you can, the same way he’s outrunning his feelings for you.
It isn’t long before you end up in a clearing. You’re more out of breath than you would like to be, but in all your training you hadn’t prepared to run through your tears. You’d take physical pain over the gnawing feeling in your chest any day, unfortunately, you don’t have a choice.
This is your reality. With words so sobering echoing in your mind you finally stop, hunching over to slow your breathing. You hear his footsteps behind you over the rain and for a long time, neither of you says anything.
Marc breaks the silence. “I’m sorry. I don’t…I don't know why I can’t be honest with you.”
You stay quiet, stay turned away from him because even in this heavy rain he’d be able to recognize the renewed tears that stream down your face harder than before.
“That’s not true,” He murmurs, to himself, to you after the silence grows on too long. “I know why but I can’t— I’m not ready yet.”
You still aren't talking, practically frozen in place under the sheets of rain. He shivers again, trying to block out the discomfort, the tightness in his chest. This isn't about him. For the first time in a long time, he’s sacrificing his safety for someone else’s. It's still not enough…no not yet. He’s not sure when it will be.
With a deep breath, you turn towards him and for a moment Marc thinks that the two of you will get somewhere, that there will be some understanding. That fades when you don’t meet his eye and walk right past him without a word. Before it’s too late, he reaches out, catching your hand in his own.
It stings, a temporary warmth with the promise of nothing.
“I won’t ask you to wait for me,” He says, squeezing your hand gently.
You know that it's meant to be a comfort, but it simply makes your heart ache more. How he could look at you with such regret and still break your heart, it's cruelty at a level you want no one to experience. Because you know that even as he says those words and offers his comfort, even as he lets you off the hook, that you’ll wait for him.
You’ll be subject to this torment as long as you can look into his eyes. As long as you can remember his name, and be by his side, you’ll love Marc. It’s never been a choice for you. If it was…you aren’t sure you’d be able to make the right one for you anyway.
You pull your hand out of his, raising your chin high as you pointlessly wipe away the tears that stain your cheeks— they simply reappear.
“I’ll see you back at the back at the cabin,” You whisper with finality, turning a way that is distinctly the opposite direction, hand tucked into your pocket to fetch your compass.
Marc lets you go. The piece of him that longs to reach out to you is too small, too weak. It has no claim. Helpless once more. It feels like someone else starts to take the steps back towards the forest. He can’t find the strength to care or be afraid.

Hello! This is my first time asking but um what how you think the genshin yans would react if they kidnapped someone only to find out their darling actually liked them back up until they were kidnapped?
that's definitely a moment where darling might start to reflect on their taste ...
Childe
“Oh... is that so? Well, if I could do it once, then I can do it again.”
Half glass full approach. Childe somewhat tunes out that whole killjoy part about ‘not liking them anymore’ and really laser focuses in on the fact you used to. That’s the main takeaway here. It’s natural for relationships to have their ups and downs, this is no different. Some seasons are spent in valleys and others up on the mountain tops. If you were hoping for this admission to deter him, you’ll be sorely disappointed. He’s more fired up than ever to rekindle the affection you used to feel.
Diluc
“I see. You really...? Ah... I won’t ask for your forgiveness. I only ask that you’ll allow me to take care of you.”
Don’t be fooled by his aloof response, he’s definitely disheartened over it. This would genuinely catch him off guard because out of all the forms of resistance he was expecting from you, this hits closest to home. Doubts are a poison he absolutely cannot allow to take root. Still, he is still human, and in vulnerable moments he can’t help but wonder if he could’ve gone about this better. The worst questions always start with what if. He does his best to purge this knowledge from his memory, for the worst ghosts that haunt his subconscious are those he can recognize.
Kaeya
“I promise I won’t bite if you still want to get close to me.”
Kaeya most definitely noticed, he just weighed out the pros and cons. He decided this was the path he wanted to take regardless. He can be confident in knowing where you are at all times and always has access to you. Your belligerence doesn’t come as a surprise, he didn’t imagine you’d be too thrilled about losing your autonomy. He tries to ‘ease you into it’ using the same charms that made you fall for him in the first place. And well... he did warn you what might happen if you kept pursuing him, not that you ever could’ve imagined what he meant by that.
Zhongli
“Dearest, there’s no need to jump to conclusions. You’re free to go wherever you please. I’m merely suggesting that I accompany you during these turbulent times. That is all.”
Zhongli’s ability to deescalate cannot be overstated. Semantics can be a fickle thing, he likes to consider your current situation as a change in housing rather than outright imprisonment. There are no chains on your ankles or locks fastened tight to the door. He feels an intimate relationship can still be maintained in this environment. Arguing with Zhongli is impossible, he’s engaged in so much verbal discourse throughout his thousands of years of life. You won’t make any progress toward convincing him he’s done something wrong.
Albedo
“Formed attachments can’t be dismissed so easily.”
Albedo figures that this is a temporary roadblock that he’ll work through with you soon enough. It makes perfect sense that you’re not used to this new, frightening situation; all the more reason for you to cling to what’s familiar (aka him). He thinks that the bond you’ll form due to the extremity of the situation will be stronger than if he courted you the ‘normal’ way. There’s also the added benefit that he needn’t concern himself over outside variables any longer, such as losing you to a romantic rival or the like. He’s unshaken in his decision and will make that obvious to you.
Xiao
“... I know what you’re trying to do.”
He doesn’t really, but it seems like the thing to say given the circumstances. He won’t speak any more on the subject yet it frequently occupies his thoughts. Introspection isn’t his forte, so though learning this bothers him, he doesn’t know why it does. Shouldn’t he just be content with how things are? While you do successfully rile him up for a bit, he’s learned not to dwell whenever possible. To do so would welcome unnecessary stress, hindering him in his work of dispatching restless spirits throughout Liyue. Xiao ends up distracting himself to take his mind off things.
Scaramouche
“Did you think your measly attempts at manipulation would get you anywhere?”
(It’s getting you somewhere). Internally, he’s panicking, not wanting his face to betray just how upset this revelation makes him. He’s a walking bag of contradictions. On one hand, he thinks he’s entitled to both your love and admiration. On the other, if his own creator saw fit to cast him aside, how much value can he actually possess? The fact you saw value in him despite his many glaring flaws (mostly owing to his cruel personality), and overlooked them... he’s not sure what to make of it. He doesn’t feel guilty so much as he feels disappointment, knowing that he’s missing out on something that could’ve been better.
Kazuha
“Kidnapping... is a bit of a strong word, wouldn’t you say?”
Kazuha doesn’t like the “k” word because he’s convinced himself that isn’t what he’s doing. You’re outside! Enjoying the great outdoors! There’s nature, there’s freedom, and he’s sharing the joy of traveling with you. He knows it’s a bit of an adjustment compared to your previous stationary life, but if it’s true you held romantic feelings for him, he thinks that should aid in your adjustment. He’s still the same Kazuha that stirred up passion inside your heart, he’ll reassure. You just get to spend even more time together. He’s actively choosing to look at it this way so that he doesn’t get too dejected about it.

Why in the first season do we have the motif of Zuko stealing Katara’s mother’s betrothal necklace? Some point to a romantic subtext being read into this that, they argue, later gets ignored in order to prop up a problematic relationship for Katara with Aang, the protagonist. But if there’s subtext to be read in the theft of a betrothal token from a subjugated female by a male imperial representative, it’s the subtext of rape.
Why is it that it’s the women in the southern water tribe are gone? Ostensibly because they were the benders—but there’s a darker undertone, especially when we consider the clearly made analogy to indigenous peoples in North America, where even to this day native women are 2 times more likely to experience rape than those from other races. The fact that the necklace was her mother’s illustrates this legacy and connection, pointing us back to the original invasion of the tribe by the Fire nation, the attack on Katara’s mother by a single soldier inside their home (allowed in in order to protect Katara) and how Zuko’s actions at the beginning of the series echo it. This is not an auspicious place to begin a relationship if that’s what the writers were planning. Traditional enemies-to-lovers arcs usually involve prejudice but usually tied to pride, less so that kind of sexual violence. Despite Romeo and Juliet coming from warring families, it’s never implied that Romeo committed war crimes in the first act, especially not against the girl who falls for him, so we should perhaps be clued in that something different is going on in Katara and Zuko’s dynamic.
The intense rage, fear, and defense Katara puts up against Zuko in the finale of the first season (right after she has had to face the misogyny among her own people) is evocative of her response to his assaults throughout the first season. If this was not enough, we then have the rape of the moon spirit and the sacrifice of Yue for her people happening in the background, all pointing us back to the gendered violence of the empire Katara’s living under and fighting against. Her battle is not passionate because she secretly loves Zuko. She is doing everything within her power to protect herself and the spirit (literally the Avatar and figuratively within herself) that she has kept kindled despite the violent attempts to wipe it out—Zuko eventually prevails and steals a precious thing from her again…
When Katara and Zuko are imprisoned together during “The Crossroads of Destiny,” often seen as the peak of their romantic tension, they discuss their mothers, and Katara learns about the loss of Zuko’s mother (which we’re encouraged by the symbolism in the first season to read through the symbolic lens of gendered abuse and sexual violence, only now it’s domestic and internal rather than imperial). Zuko’s shift to a pitiable victim of abuse has softened his monstrous face for us, and the same happens to Katara in the catacombs, to the point where she’s willing to share a spiritual token with him.
It’s remarkable in the scene that, after being interrupted, there’s an effort made to remind the audience of Aang and Zuko’s continued antagonism—they glare at each other despite being in the embrace of the person who cares most about them in the world. And in the next scene, it’s revealed that Katara and Zuko’s reconciliation is actually not enough to transform Zuko’s loyalties. His desires for Aang and the redemption he can offer are too great.
In fact, throughout this couple of scenes, Zuko shows no interest in possessing or learning about Katara. She spouts off her grievances without his request, and then he shares his own loss only in defense to Katara's accusations and self-recognition in her stories, not as consolations for her pain. And Katara is moved by his vulnerability because she is so eager to see more evil within imperial power. She wants to hear the truth about how even those within it are injured. With all the feminine fantasy of being able to fix the behavior that toxic masculinity has induced, she suggests her spirit water might alleviate the scar Zuko bears--no forethought about preserving it for her own needs. Zuko doesn’t even request or accept the spirit water she offers him. It's all Katara. You'll be hard pressed to find a moment where Zuko expresses desire for Katara in this scene, a definite difference from his sexual aggression towards her in the first season. We as an audience are actually moved by his lack of desire her and what she has to offer because Katara is finally free from his predation (though it was only his initial violence that makes this neutral kind of freedom feel heartening).
The eventual gesture of Katara healing Zuko in “Sozin’s Comet” is free of his desire as well, unless you count the desire to protect a non-combatant, which has been Zuko’s reoccurring theme throughout the series, Katara or no (when he chooses the safety of his crew in "the storm," his advocacy for the lives of the fire nation soldiers that led him to banishment, etc.). The suggestion of rape arises here again with the penetrative nature of lightning, but the show has really complicated it’s gender dynamics by having Azula direct it, pointing to imperialism as the core concern rather than a simplified feminist reading. When Katara heals him, it's after she's cared for herself and defeated Azula now, and the words exchanged are "thank you," words of cordiality and comradery. They touch, but they are touches of equal counterparts rather than romance.
Reading romance into the simple refusal to commit colonial rape seems like a fairly low bar. This is neither what Katara nor Zuko are seeking out over the expanse of the series. They are looking for the transformative hope, action, and balance that the Avatar embodies, which, if anything allows them to stop fixating on each other and the dynamic of feminine colonized victim and masculine imperial patriarch that their world would have them locked into forever.
Aang does not go back in time to fix it all, but he brings an acceptance of reality that still allows for change. And this applies to the emotional states for the characters. Finding balance. Their griefs are not gone but not totalizing, either. They don't have to obsess or ruminate on it, or on the person who embodies the "problem" for them. The balance that the Avatar brings (and the fantasy that the show concludes with) is not a world in which the violence of colonialism never occurred but a world in which emotional release is possible from the intensifying dynamics colonialism forces its subjects into to sustain itself.

I keep coming back to this specific panel and thinking about how vulnerable Wei Wuxian looks in the last frame. Thinking about it and assuming everything that happened before the start of HoG was canon, this is probably the first time ever Wei Wuxian was allowed to be human without everyone judging him for it or demanding that he explain why he fucked up again.
Lan Wangji just says Wei Wuxian doesn't need to explain, doesn't owe him that, he's not *entitled* to Wei Wuxian or his thoughts and feelings. Irony of finally owning himself while also feeling trapped aside, I can't imagine how raw that must have made Wei Wuxian feel.
(this late analysis brought to you by me being bored at work 😂)
Awwww thank you so much for being bored at work because I loved this analysis a lot! 🥺
If there's one thing that guides this story is LWJ understanding WWX's harsh position and trying to respect him as a man, as a former part of the proper cultivation world of their society, as a boy who was happy and enthusiastic once, and as a person who always stood up for what is right, even if it brought destruction upon himself and others.
In several parts of this arc I saw many people comment stuff like "hug him, lan wangji!" "kiss him!" etc, and I know it was people getting really emotional hahaha I would've commented the same.
But LWJ won't do that unless he earned WWX'S trust and love. He wants to show him support not by words of love, but by words of understanding, of taking action, of making him know that he has someone to rely on. LWJ knows what it's like to be a cultivator, how much hard work it takes, and what it means to be a part of their society. He knows that WWX position and honor as a cultivator in their world was harmed and he knows how hard it is, so if he offers any comfort, it's standing by his side as an ally in this political world and trying to find a solution to redeem his reputation. Offering romantic love is something that he'd really want to do, but doing it to a person who's been through all that hardship feels like mocking him and belittling from his status, or at least, the status WWX once had. So he's being patient and wants to help WWX the best he can. To be honest, he doesn't even rely on the possibility of his feelings being returned. He just wants to save his Wei Ying from those who wish to harm him, and to make things better for him.
In this part you shared, LWJ knows how it must feel like for WWX. Even without knowing about his trauma of being pushed from the sword, LWJ suspects that WWX might not have his core anymore (see arc 1) and plus, he feels guilty for all that WWX had to deal with on this day he planned to take him out. So even if WWX says that it's just cause he's tired, LWJ believes it too, since it's a huge emotional toll to have to sneak out hiding your identity, then the fear of being discovered, being the cause of mass panic and hate, hearing insults and accusations, realizing he's hated by all, and on top of it all - staying hungry 😭
He doesn't need WWX to explain nothing. He just wants him to rest and be safe, so that he could figure out how to help him 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Thank you again for your message ❤❤❤❤❤ hope it got better at work lol

Elijah was nothing like Nikklaus.
He was not brash nor impatient, nor was he selfish or cruel. Rather, he was noble and tactful, always putting the needs of his family before himself. His loved ones were protected so long as he roamed the Earth.
Which is why he had no idea why every instinct told him to take you away to some unpopulated and safe location the very moment he saw you. Elijah was no stranger to sudden impulses - this was of no doubt. Being a vampire made sure of this. But this desire, this want, it was stronger than even his craving for human blood. It ate at his insides when he tried to ignore it, mauled at his flesh when he pushed it aside.
You were an angel. A living, breathing angel. Elijah was sure of this when he first spoke to you. Your voice was like honey, and the expression that rested on your face - sweet and pure. You held yourself with a beautiful poise and walked with a powerful gracefulness. You were simply so innocent. It's no wonder he thought so highly of you.
When Elijah introduced himself, however, he was shocked to find that you seemed to know a bit about vampires. Your ears perked up upon hearing that you were speaking to a Mikaelson, but your confidence didn't waver. Your voice didn't quiver, your hands didn't tremble. You knew he was an Original, yet you felt no fear. And it intrigued Elijah to no end.
You're different from Elijah's family. As much as he refuses to admit to himself, he knows they use him, discarding him when he's no longer helpful. But you? He could spend hours talking to you - depriving you of free time, or he could be giving you the most expensive of jewels, but none of it seemed to matter to you. You treat him all the same, remain with him even when he doesn't believe he has very much to offer.
Elijah often catches himself daydreaming about you when you're not there, imagining what it would be like if the emptiness at the side of the bed was filled by you, what it would be like to be able to touch a figure as vulnerable as yours at the darkest point of the night and bury his fangs deep into your neck. What a pleasure it would be to hear soft little moans escaping your mouth.
The more Elijah finds out about you, the more worried he grows. His mind flashes with thoughts of what his siblings would do to you if they knew of your extensive knowledge on his family. And, as worry often does, it grows into fear, then paranoia.
As you and Elijah developed a close bond (perhaps more), he becomes more and more concerned for your well-being. He berates you with questions of your whereabouts when he doesn't know where you are or when you return from somewhere he could not find you.
But you construte it all for Elijah's protectiveness. Or, more specifically, overprotectiveness. So, in some sense, you appreciated it - his absolute desire to keep you safe. You appreciated feeling like you always had someone to look to for protection.
Elijah's concern gets to a point when he doesn't allow you out of your home, instead insisting that you live with him so he can keep an eye on you. And, even though you refuse at first, he manages to convince you that it's for the best, so you move in with him.
Things from there are quite domestic. Elijah enjoys having you around the house, being able to cook you dinner, provide you with a comfortable bed, and anything else of the sort.
It doesn't take long for Elijah to finally admit that he fancies you, and when he does, you just smile at him for what feels like an eternity before stealing a kiss from his soft lips. You simply couldn't deprive yourself of the opportunity.
The dynamic between the two of you then grows into one similar to that of a wife and husband.
He loves to feed on you, though he can never quite contain himself, so he feeds from your wrist, staring at your eyes the entire time so he can detect the faintest bit of tiredness in your eyes and stop immediately. These moments are quite intimate, nothing but silence and the presence of each other surrounding the both of you.
Whenever you do leave the house (no matter how rare this is), Elijah makes a point of having you feed on his blood. He loves seeing the way that a little human like you grips on his wrist tightly while feeding on him, how you look so dependent on him. It's utterly adorable.
Of course, Elijah tends to get jealous, more so than most men, but it's nothing you consciously suffer from - only the people foolish enough to touch you do. After all, you belong to Elijah, and he isn't intent on sharing you.
The more time spent with Elijah, the less you see your friends. At first, he simply persuades you that you should spend more time with him, but as you grow to miss them more and more, Elijah begins to plant seeds in your mind of your friends' toxicity and that they don't care about you, either way, since they obviously haven't come looking for you.
He, of course, leaves out the part where he threatened them that, if they were to reach out to you or look for you, they'd be dead before they could even think to utter your name. But it doesn't matter! They don't deserve you, either way - you were much too good for the likes of them. You deserved to be treated like a goddess, be worshiped at an altar, not slum around with mere mortals.
For the longest time you followed Elijah's advice. You hardly, if ever, spoke or engaged in conversation with even your closest of friends, only leaving the house if Elijah was with you or knew exactly of your whereabouts.
But, at some point, you decide that spending time with exclusively one person isn’t enough. You hadn’t even seen your family in person since you’d last moved in with Elijah. So, even though you feel horrible, you sneak out of the house to spend time with friends while Elijah is out. You knew he’d be angry if he found out, but you needed this. You just wanted to let loose without his looming presence. You loved him, but he could be overbearing.
When you come home late at night, however, you're mortified when you see Elijah sitting on the couch, clearly waiting for you, his demeanor eerily calm. At first you begin to apologize profusely and try to explain yourself, but Elijah is quick to cut you off and tell you to take a shower since you reek of alcohol.
Elijah beelines straight for the front door the moment you're out of sight. He's disappointed. He thought he’d taught you better than this. Sneaking out while he was away? It was a teenager’s act.
You had broken Elijah's trust - something he's never taken lightly. He had once thought he could confide in you and believe your word, but he was most obviously mistaken. So, locking the front door, he takes the necessary precautions to keep you safe. Even though this technically violates Elijah's moral code, he truly couldn't care less. Your safety is more important, your freedom be damned. Besides, if he gives you your freedom, you'll be dead within a matter of days, so it would be pointless. Elijah was sure of this. This way was better. You may get angry, but you'd get over it eventually.
Elijah is very, very patient with you at the start. He knows it's going to be hard for you to accustom yourself to seeing this new side of him, but he knows you'll give in eventually.
So he spoils you with jewels, dresses, and other priceless items - though he never gives you what you truly desire: your freedom.
From there, Elijah completely isolates you from the outside world. Your only social interactions consist of him, and when you give him an especially hard time, he locks you in your shared bedroom for hours. When he finally does come back, you find yourself unwillingly excited to finally be near him. Despite what he's done, he's the only social contact you have, leading you to become dependent on him quite quickly.
Elijah tries to make everything seem as though it's still normal. He still cooks for you everyday, still embraces you in his arms tenderly at night, still enjoys watching you go about your daily tasks whenever he's with you.
But, at some point, even the noble gentlemen loses some of his patience if you're particularly ignorant of his presence. So, the original forces intimacy on you - whether it be simply cuddling with you while watching a movie or making out with you when you're particularly defiant to his touch.
You escaping, if you were to ever try, would most likely be the single worst thing you could do to bring forth Elijah's wrath. He not a violent person by nature - not to the people he loves, at the very least - but trying to escape would, no doubt, easily rile him up.
He drags you back roughly, not daring to lay a finger on you though not making the journey very comfortable. After this, he isolates you for days on end, bringing in food without saying a word while you're asleep.
When he finally decides that your punishment is over, Elijah takes every opportunity to scold you and to tell you how bad you've been. He does not hold himself back by describing what could have happened had his family found you, and what a bad girl you'd been, as if you were a pet of his.
Even though you're trying to stay strong, as the days go on and on, you find yourself letting your guard down and warming up to Elijah. You simply can't help yourself. He's been the only one to provide with with solace on weary nights, to make your life feel somewhat normal.
And, besides, all Elijah wants to do is protect you! He's practically saving your life by keeping you in his home, safe from the dangers of the outside world. It's far too risky for you to go out there, anyway.
And Elijah truly does love you - his innocent, naive little human. And, if his end goal is merely to keep you alive, what could be so wrong with such a thing?

Thinking about a poly Thorfinn/Canute/Reader and they both happen to be yanderes. They meet you while Thorfinn and you were guarding the young prince. Thorfinn has known you for several years and has grown close to you over that time, so naturally he is possessive and overprotective of you. You are in a band of ruthless mercenaries, not to mention Askeladd; why wouldn't he act the least bit protective over you?
Then you add Canute to the mix, and suddenly Thorfinn is threatening to knife anyone who comes close enough to either of you two. For what it's worth, his feelings stem from his fear of losing the only healthy person who has been consistent in his life. His father was killed, Askeladd is toxic, and the rest of the band just has bloodlust. Okay, maybe Bjorn is a small exception because he does act like a mother towards Thorfinn sometimes but still ultimately sides with Askeladd. Still, you are the only one who is allowed to patch up his wounds and sleep next to him at night.
So then we have Canute, who is barely able to talk with you because Thorfinn is staring daggers (both figuratively and literally) at him. So as their travels progress and Canite gets bolder, he slowly grows closer to you, and Thorfinn hates that. He would kill the pretty little blonde if it weren't for Askeladd promising him a duel if he kept the prince safe.
One night, it all comes to a climax when you are sleeping next to Thorfinn. They both end up in an argument over their behavior, and Thorfinn accidentally outs himself.
"Why do you have to be such a stupid, pretty little blonde?"
"You think I'm pretty Thorfinn?"
"That's not what I meant, Princess."
Thorfinn gets all pouty and embarrassed.
Canute feels like he has the upper hand just this once, so he proposes sharing you between the two young men. Thorfinn is almost entirely opposed to this idea, but for some odd reason, he nods and agrees with Canute. Only if Thorfinn is allowed to stay near you at all times.
Thorfinn and Canute are two completely different yanderes whose tendencies stem from the same thing: fear. Thorfinn has a fear of losing you and wants your love and attention (even if he won't admit it). Canute has a fear of not being loved, as he isn't loved by his father, and he wants to be loved by the person who has shown him some love. Thorfinn is aggressive and very outward about how protective he is of you, while Canute opts for a more quiet and cunning approach. Oh, they were bothering you? Either Thorfinn is straight up murdering them, or Canute will order someone to take care of them for him. Thorfinn needs your attention and praise constantly (in his distant and grumpy way), while Canute is content just being looked at by you. Thorfinn is possessive, while Canute is obsessive. Canute will practically worship the land you walk on, while Thorfinn will see you as his only equal.
They are opposites, yet they mesh well together.
They don't realize that they also have feelings for each other until after the King and Askeladd's deaths. Thorfinn was so very torn as he saw you standing near Canute with a shocked and pained expression on your face. He felt his heart and trust break into so many pieces as he saw Canute open and vulnerable for a killing strike. Yet he only slashed the edge of Canute's cheek as he realized that he couldn't kill the pretty little blonde. He couldn't hurt or be mad at you either. He just felt confused.
Canute knows that he has to act like a leader, so he orders everyone out except for you and Thorfinn.
Canute confesses that he has developed romantic feelings for both you and Thorfinn during your travels together. He thought you both looked so attractive while protecting him from people trying to kill him. He states that he is unable to live a life if Thorfinn hates him, and he offers Thorfinn the sword that killed Askeladd to slit his throat if he would like. Thorfinn takes the sword and shakes as tears escape his eyes. He can't. He can't kill the stupid blonde. He loves him. He loves you. He loves how you constantly care for him and stay near him even when he pushes you away. He loves Canute because he just loves him. He doesn't know when he started, and he is scared that he won't be able to stop.
He allows the sword to clatter onto the ground as he pulls both of you into a tight and warm hug.
Cue Canutes religious guilt and his breakdown of what his beliefs are all while romantically loving two people, one of whom is a man.
You stare at them with a perplexed expression as they both clumsily confess their love for you as well (leaving out that they will and have already murdered for you).
The only question that remains is: What will happen next? Will all three of you live with Canute? Will Thorfinn start a journey of self-discovery and end up traveling to Vinland? Will you ever figure out that their love isn't so innocent and that you won't ever escape from them?

When El is crying when she is talking to Mike in Lenora, it wasn't about her being in love with him. Or about her being upset that he didn't love her back. It wasn't even entirely about Mike. It was her needing to feel like someone cared about her and it really didn't matter who. Breaking down crying was a long time coming and was a result of a lot of things piling up.
Mike was just the trigger for it and happened to be there. She already knew her relationship with him was over because of the letters and that conversation was just confirming something she already knew. It wasn't a surprise.
She felt rejected by him. But she also was feeling rejected in general. She felt rejected by people in school and was severely bullied. She was grieving Hopper and in an entirely new place with a new family. I'm sure Joyce was there for her (we've seen her be a good mom), but she suddenly up and left with a bs explanation. Even though she had good reason for this, it came at a time when El was already vulnerable and for her, was just another abandonment. She hurt someone at the skating rink and everyone stared at her instead of comforting her, which just reinforced that she doesn't belong and she's alone. She also lost her superpowers and didn't know what her purpose was anymore. And she was away from her new friend Max, which was her first real, healthy friendship. She was trying so hard to be like everyone else and was failing at it. Trying to get Mike to love her wasn't about their relationship. It was the final thing she felt like she had no control over. She goes back to the lab because she at least knows what to expect there and how she fits in. Superpowers gave her a purpose and she feels useless without them.
So no, her crying wasn't about Mike and wanting to be in a relationship with him.
It was her feeling like she failed to be normal.
It's why she gets clingy with Mike. It's why she tries to push this relationship to be like the soap operas she watched all day. It's why she lied about her whole life in Lenora and made it seem like she had great friends and was doing well in school. She wanted to feel like she was fitting in like everyone else. Only she doesn't realize yet that some people don't fit in even if they didn't have her upbringing.
So Mike doesn't owe her an apology for making her think he wanted to be in this relationship any more than she owes him one. They are both about 14 years old and trying to figure out their place in the world and what their feelings are. It's ok that they both got it wrong here. It's ok that they weren't sure that they had romantic feelings for each other. It's ok that they realized that they weren't compatible and decided to end things.
It's not something that is mean. Neither one of them is being mean to the other person because they didn't really understand how they felt. Most people date more than one person in their life and they weren't stringing someone along because they decided to end things.
El doesn't even know what she wants or what she likes. She just wanted to be like everyone else. She does owe Mike and apology for a few things - like completely disregarding his feelings for example. But not knowing how she actually felt about him isn't something she should be sorry for.
And Mike shouldn't have felt like he just needed to blurt out that he loved her because she was crying about it and wanted to hear it. That wouldn't have been genuine. He doesn't owe her an apology for being scared and trying to be normal either. No matter how upset she was in the moment.
They both did a similar thing where they tried to use each other as a shield so they could feel more normal. And it didn't work because they weren't being honest. They weren't acting like themselves. No one is at fault for that. They are allowed to try and figure out what works for them and what doesn't.
And for the record, Mike and Will don't need El's permission or approval to date each other. They don't need to explain their feelings to her. Their relationship isn't about her. She shouldn't be centered in it. If they aren't comfortable telling her, they don't have to.

Why Nick Nelson in Heartstopper is groundbreaking bisexual representation :
I'm sure most of this has been said by now but I was in the mood for fluff so I did a re-watch and like, bi rep is A BIG THING i want to talk about on this blog so I felt I had to lift this draft out of my graveyard of unfinished meta essays and finally finish it :
Very basic but a male bi character who explicitly calls himself bi and not as a stepping stone to another label ? Still unfortunately too rare
It's an old cliché but for a very long time, bisexual characters were presented as manipulative, mentally unstable, unreliable, two faced, flaky, cagey, hiding something, etc ; often con-artists, addicts, liars, cheaters, if not outright psychopaths. Even the positive characters tend to have a ton of secrets, chameleon abilities, hidden pasts, etc. Nick Nelson, meanwhile, is a human golden retriever. Yes he's a bit confused and he makes mistakes, but it's never not obvious that he's a sweetheart who means well and is trying his best to be a good person. He's so protective and gentle towards Charlie, and you can tell that once he figures his shit out he's going to be a dream boyfriend. Also he's kind of basic and a bit of a dumbass at times ? In the most positive, endearing way possible. He's honest and straightforward and reliable, he's not crafty or tricky or slick, and that's just great.
At it's core it's a story about the butterflies in your stomach feeling of first love, a cute and endearing romance - not a genre you often see bi characters in, who used to be confined to stories about raunchy sexual experimentation, threesomes, etc (As a bi teen it's all I got and honestly it contributed to me not taking my own sexuality seriously for so long) Here there's none of that shock/scandal factor - Nick gets to be a little romantic hero that stands in the rain getting drenched because he is so overcome with feelings, like he's replaying Pride and Prejudice. It's adorable and it's humanizing, like good romance is, flaws seen with empathy, characters allowed to be vulnerable and complex and not some spicy episode of the week.
It's not prudish either like the chemistry between the actors is super believable and also - it's so obvious that they are absolutely delighted to be in each other's presence !!! And honestly more romances, queer or straight, should be like this. Like it should be obvious that the characters are just this absolutely giddy at seeing each other and being close - and that's too rare.
Linked to this, having a bi character in a story aimed at younger teen audiences, that is sweet and non explicit - ofc we still need portrayals of queer sexuality, but unfortunately that's all bi people used to get for the longest time, as something considered intrinsically 'more adult' - and that's bullshit ! there are bi kids who need stories like this !!!! And being bi is about love just as much !!! I'm so glad this show exists !!!! Showing that it's okay to take your time with these things and that even holding hands can be a big deal and that's wonderful !
Also related to this - a lot of the more positive bi representation tends to also sort of become this cliché where they're all these flirty, confident, seductive super badasses, often adventurers or superheroes. (Ok I like those characters and the idea that being bi automatically makes you cool tbh). But it's a lot of pressure. Normal regular boring bis also need representation. Nick's not boring, he's a little star athlete, he's probably the coolest character in the show lmao but he's still a regular kid and that's nice.
Which little baby bi hasn't had those feelings about Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom in PotC, huh ? Most relatable moment of the show for me lmfao brilliant - that sense of overwhelming 'oh no they're all hot' is bi culture!!!!! yes!!!
His process of figuring out his sexuality is taken seriously !!!! Man this made me cry a little because - yeah, again, most bi characters nowadays, even when they're good rep, they generally have everything figured out because their sexuality is seen as them being more liberated and enlightened and honestly I think that's kind of problematic, even if well meaning ? It trivializes the particular struggles of being bi, like it's just 'gay-lite' and they end up being mentors of gay characters and side characters whose individual stories are easier, more simple/less interesting and honestly I feel like in reality that's anything but true. Nick gets an episode to confirm that yes, he's still into girls and his feelings for girls earlier are not erased by his attraction to Charlie. Bisexual identity doesn't change or disappear depending on who you are with.
that part with the youtuber explaining that bisexuality at first is often an experience of constantly second guessing yourself !! yeah !! that was so real ! I was in that phase for such a long time, and seeing Nick attain a stage of certainty rather quickly was so nice to see - important also to see that his mother has a sort of reflex to tell him he 'doesn't have to say he's into girls' because bisexuality is generally conceptualized as a stepping stone and he explicitly corrects her. It's a big deal ! And that's important because I feel a lot of bi people feel less valid than gay people and that they have to minimize their own experiences/not make a fuss so as not to appropriate/take attention away from 'real queerness' or something. And that has real consequences in terms of self-image and mental health and community support. So yeah, the narrative giving it weight and time is really groundbreaking. It's just treated with such nuance and respect. It's wonderful.
Honestly in general it's very common for bi people to figure out their sexuality at a later age than their gay peers, because having crushes on the opposite gender means you are less likely to question yourself. Nick needing time to figure things out isn't presented as a bad thing, it's Charlie's specific history of being hurt by this before that makes the situation difficult for him. And the fact that it ties into him also realizing he was just going with the flow not really being true to himself - questioning your sexuality can also have a ricochet effect on how you stand in the world and - yeah I just thought the whole thing was so realistic and true to lived experience.
The reason Nick agrees to go on a date with a girl is not because he's two-timing Charlie but simply because he cares too much about her feelings to let her down in front of everyone or because her dog died (and he brings his dog to console her when he goes to let her down !). His main character flaw is that, by virtue of being a popular, athletic jock, he's oblivious to the shittiness of his friends - you get the feeling that he's a sunny, happy guy used to breezing through life, who probably prefers to get along with everyone, and that might have insulated him from certain realities, but he's still a very caring person. And he tells the truth to Charlie and makes it right pretty quickly. It's a very good send off of the trope of the untrustworthy bisexual who was secretly dating a girl the whole time. Meanwhile Ben, one of the bad guys of the story, who was dating a girl and treating Charlie like shit because he hates himself, and could be a bad bi cliché, isn't given a label, which I think was a smart writing choice.
It's just great queer rep in general because it centers queer joy so powerfully, it's sweet without being saccharine - difficult topics are talked about with nuance, it doesn't hide or minimize real hurt and prejudice, but it gives more time and importance to its characters being happy and giddy and in love and having fun, which makes it feel so safe and soothing to watch. Elle's story is another example of this - her specific experiences as a trans girl who recently changed schools are central to her story, but she also gets to be a regular teen girl who has a complicated crush on her best friend and stresses out about making friends at her new school and gets milkshakes and arcade games with her squad. It's great.
And yeah this general celebration of queer friendship and mutual support is super important to a good bisexual representation too - Nick's amazement and relief at seeing Tara and Darcy kissing publicly - like !!! which closeted baby queer hasn't felt that exhilarating sense of possibility and belonging and yearning and awe at seeing other people being gay and in love in public ! That was so wholesome and beautiful - and him being so eager to talk to them afterwards, adorable. Because being openly yourself often has that sort of domino effect on others. Seeing other people doing it, makes it become real for you, too. I think this is also especially important for bi people, because they tend to be more alienated from the queer community as a whole.
So yeah so much love for this show - I've followed the comics for a long time and they are also wonderful, but the show added its own brand of charm and heart, and I'm so happy it exists. It makes me a bit sad too, nostalgic for an experience I never had, because my own experiences were so different, the reality I grew up in as a bi teen was so much meaner and more bigoted and violent and vulgar and lonely, but even if this show is probably not the reality for a lot of baby bis still, it gives me hope we are moving in the right direction. <3

Why am I so certain Buddie is possibly going canon this season???
Oliver started posting and actually tagging Ryan in his IG. Something he hasn’t don’t since season 3.
Oliver and Ryan both shared Aisha’s videos of them sleeping on set. Ryan hasn’t shared Oliver on his IG since season 3.
They both followed each other back on IG after unfollowing each other before the beginning of season 4.
The cast seems happier and more open to sharing bts footage with us. Something we haven’t seen from any of them since before season 5.
Oliver and Ryan are always seen next to each other or turned towards one another. Body language is EVERYTHING. They have to trust one another to be able to freely fall asleep in each other’s presence.
Not only that but once more, actors tend to stay in character even while they’re on break from filming. So if Buck and Eddie are side by side, closer than ever, then so will Ryan and Oliver.
Oliver and Ryan are doing promotion for the show, in a joint interview. This hasn’t been done since season 2 and only because Ryan was the new star on the show. And he was often paired with Oliver because of the Buck and Eddie partnership.
So the fact that they’re now being partnered on interviews…somethings definitely had to have changed between their characters.
Oliver is more confident in showing Ryan on his IG when before he would just tease us with bts and have us try and figure it out later on that he was teasing Buddie scenes. Now he straight up let’s us know. If they weren’t good and wholesome scenes, he wouldn’t even bother.
Both men are in better spirits and seem to just be having an overall good time filming.
Both men have stated many times they wouldn’t mind playing Buck and Eddie romantically.
Eddie and Buck have been through something traumatically together and have also gotten through it, together.
Eddie was vulnerable in front of Buck. Buck will probably have the chance to allow himself to be fully vulnerable in front of Eddie.
They’re a whole family along with Christopher and season 5 has shown us how close they are. No one can or will come between them.
Both Buck and Eddie are single at the same time. Eddie’s working on realizing who he is and what he wants. Buck is working on his self worth and who he wants as a partner.
Season 6 is happening. Buddie is happening. We’re so close guys. So fucking close.

Hey I have a question do you think Pedro Pascal is a Gemini or cancer rising? I feel like he’s a Gemini because he comes off very social and mercurial but on the other hand he he looks very sweet and approachable lmao.
i’m so glad you asked! it’s difficult to make a concrete, accurate assessment because the degree of the ascendant dictates what signs/planets fall in his houses, but for argument’s sake, we’ll just assume his ascendant is either in an early degree of cancer, or a later degree of gemini.
i personally lean more towards him being a cancer ascendant. since he has aries and capricorn in his big three, i feel like the water influence that cancer brings could “soften” how abrasive that energy can be at times, as well as the rest of the energy in his chart. something i noticed when going through the aspects he has is that he’s an innate nurturer, leader, and caretaker, characteristics that are also attributed to cancerian energy. i don’t rely too heavily on the ascendant for appearance just because there’s a plethora of things within the chart that can influence looks, but for what it’s worth appearance-wise he is very cancerian. the big/sad “puppy” eyes, baby/cherub face, prominent cheeks/dimples, sweet smile, fuller/pouty lips, fuller figure/prominent chest, etc.
Tumblr media
if he is a cancer rising, it would make sense as to why he has a reputation for being someone that people feel safe and comfortable around. this would also make his chart ruler his moon in capricorn in the 7H, which also reinforces the many aspects in his chart that influence his need for stability and security in his relationships (platonic and romantic). this would also indicate that these relationships and his connection to others greatly impacts his sense of self, and can lead him towards self-discovery and evolution.
it’s also worth mentioning that pedro also has a lot of plutonic energy in his chart, and if he does have a cancer ascendant and a capricorn descendant, i could see how these energies could influence one another and manifest as finding “control” through their emotional connection to others. and i don’t mean this in a manipulative, conniving way (although this does have the capacity to manifest that way depending on the person/chart), but more so in a way that allows them to utilize their emotional intelligence and vulnerability as a means to develop their relationships. people with these placements may even attract people who are more emotionally avoidant or closed off to maintain that sense of control emotionally.
on the flip side, though, i can definitely see how he can come across as a gemini ascendant as well. he’s extremely mercurial like you mentioned, and he’s very much so the type of person to jump from thought to thought and can struggle at times to reach the point of what he’s trying to say. gemini ascendant can also manifest as someone who’s very changeable in terms of their ideologies and life in general. i can’t remember which interview it was but i remember pedro saying something along the lines of how he “doesn’t like to make decisions” and essentially alluded to not liking being tied down to things, which is very much so textbook gemini energy lmao. the jupiter aspects in his chart probably play a role in this as well, he definitely gives off “i need to see everything from every side, i need to learn everything that there is to learn, etc.” it would also corroborate his need for freedom and independent energy that pedro also has in his chart.
but there are a few gemini ascendant traits that i feel like he doesn’t necessarily have, the main one being the lack of “tact” that gemini energy has in relation to considering other people’s feelings. gemini risings are extremely cerebral, intellectually driven individuals, and can have an energy about them that could make them come off as impatient or insensitive to the feelings of those around them, especially when you take into consideration the sagittarius descendant, alongside his aries sun and capricorn moon. although, you could definitely make the argument that the “softer”, more emotionally-inclined aspects/placements in pedro’s chart are what make up for this more harsher energy.
if he is a gemini rising his chart ruler would be mercury in pisces in the 9H, meaning that he has an insatiable need for knowledge and adventure that plays a prominent role in his identity and how he navigates life. this would also amplify the jupiterian energy in his chart as well, alongside the aspects that can influence feelings of restlessness. it’s interesting because with this energy in his chart, he also has an inclination towards stubbornness. even though he does have an innate desire for change, he also has a strong aversion to it as well lmao.
ultimately, i feel like it could be argued either way. but going off of what i’ve seen in his chart and how he behaves and interacts with people (publically at least), he does strike me more as a cancer rising than a gemini. but feel free to let me know what y’all think!
and here’s his chart for reference:
gemini ascendant - approx. birth time: 12:30pm
Tumblr media
cancer ascendant - approx. birth time: 1:15pm

i think in the same way that bi buck was groundbreaking for primetime network tv, a friends to lovers story between two men would be groundbreaking as well.
(i've never bought into the argument against them getting together that men aren't allowed to just be intimate vulnerable friends on tv so why can't they stay that way. i'm sorry there are countless examples of that type of close friendship between men in network dramas and sitcoms. there are other arguments against having them get together but i think that one is bs. not that you were saying that lol. sorry i went off a bit)
right. I kinda get that? but I don't think that's really what's happening with platonic!buddie tbh, it's not just a close male friendship, they partially coparent, which is groundbreaking in itself (I'd also argue that them not being together whilst one or both are queer is a much more fascinating relationship, at least for me personally). I also don't think a story should be told for the sake of being groundbreaking, yes we need more representation for different family and relationship dynamics, but the story needs to be a genuinely good story. Tbh I feel like the time to do that would've been season 4 at the latest, it feels like they've both moved on from trying to figure out their place in each other's lives and are clearly comfortable with where they're at. I also think that maybe the fact that it's such a popular ship has ruined it for me personally, like any story they do now if it goes down a romantic route for buddie would just feel like anticlimactic fan service. Because they're already family, they don't need the romance to continue to be family and coparent chris. (I'm well aware that a lot of this is personal preference).
also, logistically, one of them will have to change departments unless it's a secret relationship (already done lots of times before, plus I can't see buck at where he's at now agreeing), both Eddie and Buck have had jobs outside the 118 and neither of them went particularly well. I get that it's nitpicky but I don't see any jobs as another option for them that they haven't already done. (plus it would change the dynamic of the main cast). Idk it seems like having two more main characters would just insulate the storylines too much.
