12.03.2019: Haven’t posted any original photos in what seems like decades... I guess I have just been a bit overwhelmed with everything uni-related, because I don’t really enjoy my current courses and it’s a struggle to even sit down and read course materials because I loose focus and am already too far behind, which stresses me out like hell. Well, at least I’m currently home and can annoy my dog while scream-crying into my granola bowl and passive-aggressively trying to get my shit together! (and I finally started to use my camera again to take some early-morning pictures of my coffee when the lightning in my kitchen was absolutely beautiful!) Hope you all have a cool day, Amber :)

this is my first original post in a long time! here’s a quick update in bullet format: • I’ve been super stressed the last few weeks • I’m also super sick! • my academic advising meeting is on monday and I’m so ready to choose my classes for next semester • right now I’m catching up on a whole bunch of chem and calc and it is NOT fun this is unrelated but I recently (within the last 12 hours) got into gregorian chants as study music??? idk how that happened, but hey : ))

2.06.2018: I think this is my first original post in months - quite much has happened during these weeks, not necessarily good things, as I had the flu and some other health complications for more than a month with longer lasting health issues and consequences in other parts of my life - including academics. Currently I’m luckily feeling better again in general and trying to somehow survive the last hell weeks of my second year until summer break. This week I already had a presentation, a statistics report submission and a deadline for a first draft of a research study, with another deadline until tomorrow. Next week sadly doesn't look any better with essays and still some exams to go, but I somehow have to get through it, as I can’t allow myself to fuck up my health and uni stuff even more - the past months were totally enough for the next years. 06.12.2017: Haven’t been feeling too great lately. Wrote an exam yesterday, which went horribly, because I forgot to eat breakfast before, barely slept 5 hours (hey insomnia, didn't miss you) and gave up on studying because I couldn't focus for days. Anyways, maybe somehow I had luck and pass the exam. Yesterday, I went back to my home-country after months to visit my family and it’s quite nice to have a functioning heater and warm water (which I didn't have for the past two weeks) and all the fancy food parents buy. Plus I’m really looking forward to seeing my dog again after so long, so that’s another nice thing. Pictured are “The secret history”, which I just started and it’s written in a really great way (plus it’s all about dark academia and murder and rich aesthetic kids in an university, so if you haven't read it yet you should check it out) and my morning coffee. 21.10.2017: Some interesting things that happened yesterday: • One of my flatmates started drinking alcohol at breakfast (saying “my mom would get a fit when she saw me like that” while pouring herself more) • Went to the farmers market and bought a ton of avocados • Wasn't able to finish outlining a 30 page article and while already being behind on everything, I feel like not retaining anything • Had a little breakdown at night & bought two new scented candles • Met two super cute cats on the streets In summary, I can say that yesterday was a slightly confusing and weird day, but interesting nevertheless. My mom and sister will visit me today and have a sleepover at my flat, because it’s my birthday tomorrow (which I always forget because I’m not ready). I’ll try to be productive now and finish the article plus start an essay outline. Have a great weekend, xx Amber :)
