Starting a new family as soon as Tenko leaves is crazy 💀. I bet the poor boy begged his mom to not send him out,but Toshi is just way too convincing,leaving home could be a benefit for Tenko! Can't imagine him arriving home to his dear mommy pregnant/with an adopted kid amd being like "Yeah,we didn't tell u over the phone because we wanted1 you to see them in person 🥰!" Toshi would be living the dream tho. The little rat leaving amd him getting a chance to finally have peace and only deal with Tenko when he comes back home for a good two weeks and then leaves. Would Tenko get easily home sick? Would he torment the adopted child/try to interrupt the pregnancy? I got the feeling that Toshi manages to convince us to get a pet dog to be part of the family (I see Toshi being the type to love Golden retrieves since he is one himself 💞)
I love your work so so so soooo much 💗
i knoww Toshi is so crazy 😭 he's so unhinged its scary, everyone in this au kinda crazy 😭. But listen since im delulu and i can do anything in this au, lets stray away from canon 🥰 imagine Tenko comes back from college just to see your new baby, baby!Deku 😭😭 (and a golden retriever puppy)
After a few weeks of your chaotic wedding with Toshi, Tenko was off to college. Tenko fought HARD not to go, but Toshi is such a master manipulator that he won in the end and convinced you that it would be good for Tenko. Tenko being the good boy he is, admitted his loss and agreed just for you. Tenko had a plan that he would do his best to finish early so he could come home to you. While he was away at college, things got busy back at home and you got pregnant 😌. Since you and Tenko facetimed DAILY, the moment you told him the news his mind went blank. He immediately flew back, dropping all his classes. When you and Toshi returned home from shopping you both were surprised to see Tenko there, raging.
“YOU FUCKER!!! WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO MY MOM!!”
“Young Tenko!! We’re literally married!!”
“I DON’T GIVE A FUCK”
You had to hold Tenko back from punching and kicking Toshi. You spent WEEKS trying to calm Tenko down, and when he finally accepted that its gonna happen no matter what, he decided that he would be your caretaker (he’s very protective of you), even though you aren’t even showing yet.
“Don’t worry mom! I’ll take care of dinner”
“I’ll take care of the laundry mom! Just rest there okay?”
“Oh you’re going downstairs?? Here let me carry you :D”
It was kinda adorable but suffocating. You knew that Tenko just cared a lot for you, and who were you to turn him down? Tenko enrolled in a college near home. Here’s the thing, Tenko was very conflicted. He didn’t know what to think of the baby. He kinda hated it because of Toshi, but he also kinda liked it because of you. But the day you went in labor his mind was made up. He already hated it. Toshi rushed you to the hospital and held your hand as you gave birth, never once letting go or leaving your side. The pain was unbearable, and your screams left Tenko paralyzed. How dare this unborn thing hurt you? He knew it, this was all a bad idea. As you held your baby with Toshi by your side, you cried, tears of joy was an understatement of what you felt. During your stay at the hospital, Tenko would always be by your side but he never once held the baby, too annoyed by the fact that all your attention was now at your new baby, Deku. He was so scared that you’ll forget him, so much that he slept at your room for days. You noticed this of course, and did your best to reassure him “My baby boy, don’t worry, you’ll always be my good boy hm? I love you okay? And I’m sure your baby brother is excited to see you! Here try and carry him!” Tenko hesitantly carried the baby, he kinda looked like you, but also like Toshi which was annoying. He figured that maybe it wasn’t that bad. But then the baby started crying and you immediately took him gently from Tenko’s arms. You cooed as you comforted him and let him drink milk, and Tenko SWORE he saw the little gremlin smirk, immediately making Tenko annoyed. This was gonna be tough ride.
a/n: girl while i was writing this it suddenly got deleted hsbshsbshsbshbshs it scared me so much 😭 and also thank u very much for the support i literally love u

what the hell . l.o.v
💻 where the lov find you’ve been caught by a hero , and are forced to lead them to the lov’s base
👤 himiko toga , touya todoroki / dabi , tomura shigaraki / tenko shimura , mr. compress / atsuhiro sako , twice / jin bubaigawara x f!reader ( all separate )
📍kinda upset characters :(, the villains are slightly ooc (especially Twice and Shigaraki. I don’t write for/read much about them)
• • • •
himiko toga
Is definitely taken aback. Like how could this happen? How could her love lead her worst enemy here?
Isn’t mad at you, just weirdly confused
“Sweetie, what’s EraserHead doing here?!”
She knows you didn’t mean to, and she can prove it from the guilty and sad look on your face, as well as the strong grip Aizawa has on you
Soon, the fight breaks out, and all you can do is just hide in another room and wait for it all to be over.
About an hour passes and it’s finally ended, but Himiko has to grab you and run with you fast to your guy’s new hideout, away from EraserHead
As soon as you settle, you break down
“Hey, sweetie, it’s okay!” your lover tried calming you, softly squeezing your arms, “I know you didn’t mean to! Meanie EraserHead did this!”
You can’t help but cry harder at her sweetness. You held all the blame on yourself. You’d risked going out, knowing a hero could identify you as part of the LOV. And sure enough, EraserHead was the one who’d nabbed you, and forced you to your hideout. “But..” you’d barely gotten out through broken sobs, “I led him there! He got there because of me! I was so wreckless- and- I-I-“
She then grabbed you, pulling you in for one of her best hugs. Her clothes smelled like blood, but that wasn’t anything new. You’d gotten used to the metallic smell she’d had on her since you first came across her in that abandoned alley. You wrapped your vaguely bruised arms around her, sobbing into her chest as she pet your hair. “Sweetie..” she cooed, kissing your head all over, “it’s ok..! I don’t blame you, and- I’m pretty sure- the rest of the LOV don’t blame you either. So don’t worry you’re pretty little head!”
You looked up at her, seeing her adorable, fang-y smile that led all the way up to her blood red orbs. It made you smile a bit through your tears, which Himiko wiped away with her thumb. “See,” she said, growing happier at your smile, “you’re okay! You’re even smiling! So cute!”
You were content after that, mostly after her constant reassurances, and even some members of the LOV trying to calm you down.
• •
dabi / touya
He wasn’t.. mad. Not mad. Just.
Just- bewildered
He just stared for a second at your shaking figure, and the bunny-eared hero that’s got an arm around your neck
Soon, he was one of the first to yell. Well, not really yell, as he was talking to you, but he spoke like he was definitely irritated.
“Y/n, come here.”
A lil nervous, you wiggled out of Mirko’s grasp, and jogged to your lover. You could see the vague frustration in his scarred face.
Soon enough, the fight broke out, leading to your warehouse-like hideout to be broken down, and while some of the other members of the LOV fought the hero, you, Dabi, and a couple others fled to somewhere new.
You’d be worried about if the other members would find your location, but Dabi simply stated he’d keep in touch with the others.
Dabi sat you down, his blue orbs staring into your own
“So. What happened?” He sat across from you on the grassy floor of the abandoned building.
You started tearing up, but you didn’t want him to think you were weak, so you held the heels of your hands to your eyes. You feel warm, rough hands against your wrists, and he pulls your hands down.
“Look at me when you’re talking to me, mouse.” he demanded softly, still staring into your eyes.
You sighed. You knew it wasn’t really your fault, you didn’t mean to have Mirko follow you to your hideout. You didn’t mean to make everybody move again.
You never mean too. But it happens.
“Well, uh, I was out getting things and Mirko recognized me, and she knew I was with you guys, so she practically death gripped me, and made me tell her where you were and.. I didn’t wanna get my ass kicked by her.”
He let out a deep sigh. A couple moments passed before he moved to sit beside you, grasping your hand. “Mouse,” he squeezed your hand, “I’ll tell you this right now. It wasn’t your fault. But, I’ll give you a better option when you go out. How about I buy you a new hoodie, and you start wearing a mask, hm? Don’t want you unintentionally risking our safety again.”
“Sorry..” you shied away from his stare, but he grabbed you right back, holding your chin.
“Hey. Don’t shy away from me.” he squeezed your chin, “let’s go somewhere else, mouse.”
• •
tomura / tenko
As the leader of the LOV, and pure hater of all heroes, he’s definitely pissed
Not necessarily at you, but at the woody hero who had you wrapped in his branches.
Between the grip Kamui Woods had on you and the severe death glare Tomura shot him, there was enough tension that you could cut it with one of Toga’s blades.
Tomura got up immediately, storming up to the hero, and the battle commenced quickly.
You ended up being wounded during the fight, a bigger cut on your leg.
Later, Tomura had ended up getting away.
And that’s when he noticed your cut.
“Y-.. y/n..?” he spoke quietly at the sight of your bloodied leg. You winced trying to shift to look at him. “Oh.. ohh.. oh my god..”
He rushed towards you, getting on his knees kneeling next to you. “Holy shit.” Was all he spoke before he yelled at some other member to get a med kit.
As soon as they’d arrived, Tomura shuffled to get his protective gloves on, and he made quick work in getting you patched up. “Damnit.” he mumbled.
“Damnit.” He seemed so… upset. And not in a way you were used to.
Sometimes it was little bursts of frustrations (usually caused by hero news or something), or him yelling at the other members because they fucked something up.
This time he sounded so.. hurt. Like, genuinely hurt.
It made you tear up. He took notice quick.
“Babe..? Oh god what now? What did I do?” He seemed so worried.
“It- it’s nothing, just.. my leg hurts.” you were a terrible liar. He saw right through you, placing a gloved hand on your uninjured thigh.
“You’re an awful liar,” he said, “now, I’ll ask nicely since you just love me being so nice to you.”
He sighed, brushing his hair back a bit. “Sweetheart, what’s wrong?”
You blushed at the nickname, knowing perfectly well how it affected you. You gave in. You had to. “Well.. seeing you so upset, and not in the way I’m used to, it.. made me sad.”
His face softened ever so slightly. Even under all that scratchy exterior, you could tell when he was showing genuine emotion. “Babe, I’m upset because you got hurt. That stupid hero brought you here against your will, and of course I have to deal with it, but all that caused you to hurt yourself. Stupid fucking heroes. Always thinking they’re doing good when they’ve only brought harm upon some innocent people. You didn’t do anything. And he just snatched you up like some treasure map, leading him to the little x-marks-the-spot.”
You shakily sighed, and threw your arms around him. Which, in hindsight was a bad idea, because you winced at the pain in your thigh. He tried his best you hold you. You sat there for a while, content.
Until, of course your thigh started feeling wet and warm.
• •
mr. compress / atsuhiro
He was startled, but as per usual, he maintained somewhat of a calm composure.
He was still wildly confused, however.
How could his lovely possibly lead a hero to their hideout? It didn’t make sense.
Then it clicked. You were forced to.
So, him and the rest of the league took care of the hero who’d nabbed you. Forcing you to betray some of the only people you had in life.
After the fight had ended, you were crying a bit. Sat in a corner, arms wrapped around your knees, salty tears streaming down your face.
He walked up to you, and got on a knee in front of you.
“Darling? Hey, why are you crying?” he soothed, holding one of your hands.
It only made you cry harder, and you lept onto him, holding him tight. “I brought that stupid hero here! I was weak.. and he.. he forced me to lead him here..!” You looked at his face, which held a look of worry, as well as empathy.
“My love,” he held you close, “it wasn’t your fault. It’s not like you meant to lead them here. Right?”
You nod, and he gives a small smile, his mask discarded on the ground. He’d taken off all his head gear, and you could see the way his hair was messy and disheveled from the fight, and how his eyes held a compassion he reserved solely for you. “Good. I know you would never lead.. heroes here on purpose.”
He landed a soft kiss on your head, and he wiped away your tears with his gloved thumb. “Now, wipe away those tears, sweetheart. They don’t suit you.”
You smile, and wrap your arms around him as he pulls you up.
“Let’s go see how the others are holding up, hm?”
• •
twice / jin
Of course, he was quite.. split about the whole situation. (wow such a comedian omg)
But in all seriousness, he just stared.
“What?! They brought a HERO here?! How could they?! Wait no it wasn’t their fault. But it must’ve been!”
You would just stare at him, as the mountainous lady hero holding you gripped you tight. She’d flung you on the ground. “Ah, so you weren’t lying to me!” she’d say
Of course, Twice and the rest of the villains would put good work in at taking care of Mt. Lady.
Although, to yours and the LOV’s dismay, you had to relocate. You guys weren’t safe anymore.
As soon as you found solice, you broke down.
He didn’t know how to react at first
“Oh, uhm, sweetie, why are you crying??” He’d come close to your shaking frame against the wall. “Don’t cry! I don’t think it was your fault! At least, I’m pretty sure I don’t. Nope, I don’t!”
You looked up at him, tears streaming down your face. “Jin.. I led her here. Of course it’s my fault!”
“No no no! Didn’t she make you lead her here? If that’s the case, then it’s not your fault! Don’t worry!” He grabbed you, wrapping you in a hug in his big arms. “No crying! Poof poof, no more tears!”
You giggle through tears at his goofiness. You poke his chest. “Jin-Jin, I think you’re squeezing me to death.”
His eyes widen. “NO NO I’M SORRY-“ he let go, then held you again. “Well, I’m just hugging you. Just being a bit tight?”
You roll your eyes playfully, and nod. “Yep. Just squeezing me a bit. No worries though Jin-Jin.” You kiss his cheek, his stubble grazing you a bit. “Sorry for being so emotional.. I thought I’d really screwed up.”
He frowns a bit, and pets your hair back. “No, no you didn’t! Don’t worry sweetie, you’re okay! I know you.. you didn’t mean to. We never mean to, but stuff happens! And we got it alllll taken care of, so don’t worry your pretty little head.” He gives you a smile. Then he stares off into space for a second. Then looks back at you. “Sweetie, can I put my mask on?”
You nod, knowing how he gets when he has his mask off for too long. “Yes, oh my god I forgot.” You help tug his mask back on, and you can see his smile through the mask.
“I love you, sweetie.” He wrapped his arms around you a bit tighter.
“I love you too, Jin-Jin.”
You stayed like that for a while, until of course you were interrupted by one of the members.

Hope you liked it! I know the characters probably seemed a little ooc, but I did my best.
Be safe, love y’all <3

'All for one as Hisashi Midoriya' headcanons?
I—
Okay, I can answer this, but you should know that no matter what the reason my AFO does anything is because "Yoichi". Literally the only reason. And I almost always think of him as 'Hisashi Midoriya', or at least Izuku's father; it's only in very specific AUs that I don't. So almost every headcanon I have for him is when he's Izuku's father.
I have a few headcanons for him here already, so you can take a look at those too :3
☣️ -All For One met Inko when she was moonlighting as a vigilante. Yes, I originally proposed this as their backstory for KTDO but that's because I see it as their normal backstory, just with Yoichi being less alive. All For One saw this little hoodie-wearing, green eyed, ass kicking vigilante take down several of his men, and immediately wanted to get to know her (You can guess why). She proceeded to punch him in the face. This, because All For One is a freak, solidified his interest in her and he started to actively court her.
☣️ -All For One never came out as All For One to Inko, even after they were married, so Inko thought she redeemed this poor misunderstood but powerful villain, and she hung up her metaphorical vigilante cloak whenever he hung up his villainy. EXCEPT that All For One never actually DID give up villainy, he just wanted Inko to stop bothering him about it, so he blew up a random building and pretended it was his Base of Operations so that he could come crying to Inko about how he'd changed and they could be together now. Inko accepted this, suitably wooed, and they started to live together.
☣️ -When Inko first announced that she was pregnant, All For One didn't want to keep it. He's sired bastards before and he's always made quick "work" of them whenever the mothers came crying to him about it—can't have another version of All For One running around, after all. But, because All For One was originally drawn to Inko because she reminded him of Yoichi, he held off, hoping that his hair color and Inko's eye color would mix and create a mini Yoichi for him to smother and place all of his 200+ years of obsession upon :D Of course, that baby turned out to have dark curly hair, but by that time All For One was already so attached to the idea of having a child that seeing Izuku with his own eyes just solidified Izuku's place in his little family. AFO just decided he'd try for a Yoichi clone again later. (Shimura Tenko feels a disturbance in the force...)
☣️ -All For One was around a lot during Izuku's first five years of life, because AFO needed to make sure that if Izuku developed a Quirk like his that he could take it or nullify it somehow. But fortunately for him, Izuku turned up Quirkless, with the extra toe joint and everything! The perks of being a man born at the Dawn of the Age of Quirks! There's a sixty-five percent chance your child will be Quirkless! However, this unfortunately coincided with All Might's return to Japan, and so All For One kind of,,,,abandoned his home duties to track down One For All. He was still in and out of the house very periodically in the next five years, but then when Izuku was ten All Might ripped his fucking face off :D And AFO can't explain that away with a 'work accident' to Inko, so he just....never went back. Oops.
☣️ -All For One handed down more than just Quirklessness genetically, he also handed down his preferences (....I'm not gonna say it but you can look at my ship list for conformation on that—). Izuku prefers sweeter foods because his father prefers sweeter foods. Izuku likes analysis and logic dissections because his father likes analysis and logic dissections. Their brains work the same way in that they'll hyperfixate on something if they don't know it, devour everything they can about it, but once they've cracked it open and eaten everything there is to know? They throw it away and move onto the next thing. It's boring, they need more stimulation now—ooo is that a telepathic fire Quirk? 👀👀
☣️ -The fire-breathing Quirk that All For One posed as his only Quirk for Inko was actually a dragon Quirk. But Inko never told anyone this because she was afraid that Izuku might face further discrimination as a mutant, even though neither he nor AFO ever showed any visible mutations. That dragon Quirk was one of the first Quirks that All For One stole on purpose, back during the riots of his youth. He can cover his skin in white scales and make his teeth sharper, see in the dark, make his nails into claws, and of course breathe fire; it's a very versatile Quirk, and he used it so many times to protect Yoichi that it became dubbed in his mind as the Horde Family Protection Quirk. That's also the reason that he doesn't use that particular Quirk when fighting One For All holders: because he doesn't want to hurt any part of Yoichi, even his ghost, with the same powers he once used to protect him.
☣️ -I'll end on a fluffier note related to the one above. Izuku knew that his dad had more than one Quirk. Not just because he puzzled it out, but because one of AFO's favorite father-son bonding activities were snack breaks on top of really, really tall buildings. He'd break out a flight Quirk and take Izuku up in the evening or in the middle of the night or early in the morning, when Inko wouldn't catch them, and set them up on a building ledge so they could watch the stars/sunset/sunrise together and share an orange or animal crackers. Sometimes All For One would tell Izuku stories about his childhood that he couldn't tell Inko without blowing his cover, or even just sing for him. He also maaay have had to save tiny Izuku from falling off a building once or thrice, so Izuku knows that he has at least four Quirks. Fire-breathing, flight, telekinesis, and duplication. Of course, Izuku never tells anyone—he's a very good little secret keeper. Not even AFO knows he knows :3

The truth is in the eye of the beholder.
Alright, so I totally understand why Kokichi is hated by other characters in the game because of the amount of messed up things he said and did... But honestly the fact that no one gave a shit about his death will always be so aggrivating to me.
Not even when Kokichi died did the characters ever put the slightest efforts to think about his feelings. The only character who genuienly considers Kokichi's feelings and last words was Keebo—a literal robot. It's sort of ironic considering how Kokichi constantly dehuminized Keebo and yet Keebo was the only one who believed in Kokichi's last words.
Tumblr media
The fact that Kaito—the actual person who watched Kokichi's last moments had the fucking guts to say his breakdown right before dying was a lie? I'm sorry but even a kindergardener can come to understand that Kokichi wouldn’t have lied while in the brink of death and in pain.
Tumblr media
If Kokichi was lying about his last words then why on earth would he sacrifice himself instead of letting Kaito die instead? If Kokichi drank the antidote and let Kaito die then Maki would be considered the culprit and Kokichi could easily kill two birds with one stone considering the fact that Maki literally wanted to murder Kokichi many times throughout the game.
Kokichi was overwhelmed by the guilt of both Miu and Gonta's death to the point it drives him to his own death in ch5. He was becoming desperate and had a very obvious deep hatred for the killing game. So sure, Kaito could assume he was desperate enough to lie about his last words to get Kaito to help him end the killing game, but I really doubt thats the case.
Kaito went through Kokichi's plan as a bergrudging "thank you" for y'know... saving him which would in terms help save Maki from getting executed (not to mention, these two characters are very very VERY open about their hate and distaste for Kokichi). But Kaito never considered Kokichi's feelings or the actual sacrifice he made for the group as a whole.
And I find all of this hypocritical from Kaito's end since he also lied to himself and to others by saying that he was okay when in reality he was dying bc of an illness, just like Kokichi who lied to himself and others telling them that the killing game was fun as a coping mechanism and to survive. So I think it would've been much more touching to see these two characters who foil each other come at a genuine understanding of each other too.
I understand that Kokichi is considered the antagonist of the game and therefore has to be antagonized (sometimes unfairly) by the other characters but I feel like the game went too far with downright making the group disrespect Kokichi after he put his life on the line for them.
Then again, V3 has a knack of making characters be indiferent about a handfull of character deaths (Miu, Kokichi, Ryoma, Keebo, Rantaro, Angie, Korekiyo) while overglorifying and heavily highlighting the deaths of other characters. (Kaede, Kaito, Gonta, Tenko, Kirumi).
Also if we consider the fact that when Kokichi gets the consequences of every breath he takes throughout the game, its extremely frustrating that other characters get special treatment and not face or accept the consequences of what they did... aggresively stares at Maki.
Now don't get me wrong, I love my girl Maki but we all have to be honest here. She is never held accountable for her flaws. NEVER.
Over the course of the game she says and does a bunch of inexcusable things and is never once called out on for her behavior. In Chapter 5 Maki is never once called out for trying to get everyone killed for a selfish reason.
Soooo, let me get this straight: Maki gets easily excused and brushed off for trying to get everyone killed yet Kokichi didn't get the luxury to atleast be genuienly acknowledged and respected by the group after his death and downright saving Maki's life and sacrificing himself for everyone.
Maki also literally went against the groups wishes and literally attempted to kill Kokichi so it would only be a natural reaction for Shuichi to be annoyed at Maki for not only going against the group’s promise to try and harm Kokichi but to also try and get everyone killed for a mistake she made right? Sadly...thats not the case. Shuichi instead begins to praise Maki and forgives her endlessly.
To be honest, Kokichi was very mistreated as a danganronpa antagonist. If we compare all of this to Nagito (the sdr2 antag) and how Nagito's death was vital for Hajime's progression throughout the game and was able to understand Nagitos intentions completely, enough for even Monokuma to point it out. And lets not forget the fact that Hajime completley drops the misconception of Nagito's malice after ch6 and comes to an even greater understanding of Nagito.
It would have been great if Shuichi would've dropped his misconception of Kokichi and coming to understand him when he learned about Kokichi's organization, but when Shuichi finds out that y'know...Kokichi actually cares about people and was heavily against killing he just goes "oh so he wasn't a remenant of despair!?"
But when it came to Kokichi's death, there was never a moment were Shuichi truly acknowledges his understanding of Kokichi and just calls him "the embodiment of a lie". Which could be considered true since Kokichi's character is a representation of truth vs lies but as a viewer I felt very unsatisfied because Shuichi just pointed out something that we all know instead of diving deeper and considering Kokichi's last words, intentions and sacrifice.
Now, was Kokichi's death usefull for the progression of the game? Yes. Was the information Kokichi left after he died vital to pinpoint who the mastermind is? Yes. Did Kokichi's death motivate them to find the mastermind? No, but Kaito's death did.
I genuienly believe that Kokichi atleast deserved people to actually take in in his last words and intentions instead of just brushing him off as someone who "isn't the type to shed real tears." Sadly, many V3 characters were treated poorly and I think one of the biggest flaws in V3 was the casts indiference over certain characters death, most of them made jokes out of them or reacted aphatetically and I find that unjust considering the fact that some characters actually had the luxury to have their deaths to be considered relevant and acknowledged by the rest of the cast.

'Hori does not write redemption for older characters!' *Todoroki Enji has entered the chat*
You've activated my trap card Nonnie!
I get what you're pointing out as the other nonnie did say how no adult character is redeemed but I don't think that was their point. In fact, for me Endeavor's redemption and atonement arc is why I'm so hard on this potential redemption for Shigaraki.
Endeavors arc, while imperfect, is still done extremely well and do you know why? Because Hori made him reflect on his mistakes and change gradually. He didn't use a bad past to explain Endeavor's previous actions nor did anyone try to save him or reach out to him, it was Endeavor that realised that his previous behaviour was wrong and he tried to change himself.
The narrative never praised Endeavor for doing the right thing or held his hand, in fact it constantly showed him how difficult his change was going to be. He came to the realisation that just because he's a changed man it doesn't mean his past sins are forgiven and he's slowly but surely learning how to let his family heal from his crimes too. His acknowledgement of Natsuo's feelings will still be one of the best panels I've seen from this manga because it was a character accepting their crimes and accepting the fact that they'll never have forgiveness from the victim and it told us that was okay. That arc made Endeavor realise he shouldn't change just so his family will accept him, he realised he needs to change because that's the right thing to do.
This is a big reason why I'm so frustrated with the writing for Shigaraki and the overuse of his kid self as I know Hori knows how to write and change a character who had previously been awful and set them on the long path of redemption.
Now, clearly there are major differences between Shigaraki and Endeavor, the most important being that unlike Endeavor whose past wasn't needed to understand his crimes, it's essential for Shigaraki as it explains how he became the man he is today. In fact, in order for Shigaraki to be saved, his circumstances need to be acknowledged.
However what bugs me about the use of Tenko is that it comes across as Hori only intending to save the child that Shigaraki once was when that child is only a small part of who Shigaraki is now. I get Hori is trying to get the heroes to reach out to the "humanity" that still exists inside of Shigaraki but I find that dismissive of the feelings the current Shigaraki possesses. They're not addressing what made Shigaraki the man he is today, they're just reaching out to a small fragment of his past.
And then, even if the heroes do try to show compassion to Shigaraki, it is ultimately Shigaraki who has to make that change. His salvation can't just solely be placed on the heroes shoulders as that's not how redemptions and atonement works, the recipient of the redemption must want to change too. This change has to be realistic too in order for it to work.
Endeavor's worked because it had the man reach his life's goal in the worst way possible and made him realise his actions have driven everyone away from him. We saw how this change of heart came about. Meanwhile, I have no idea why Shigaraki would be calling out for a hero in this chapter other than because his burning rage wants to kill them (and I'm honestly hoping that's actually why he thought of Midoriya but given the context of how that happened...).
Hori needs to give Shigaraki more focus. This arc could have been perfect for this! We could have seen Shigaraki struggling for his freedom while AFO manipulated his body, we could have seen the resentment grow towards his "master" and see him reflect on his previous actions. The identity issue could have been a great cause of conflict for Shigaraki about his feelings (were they really his? Is it heroes he hates or was that his masters will?)! But we didn't get any of that sadly and so this scene comes out of left-field.
No character is irredeemable if you give them enough time to work on themselves but I'm afraid Hori is not going to do that and instead use their "child selves" as a copout to reach out to them instead.

i really liked the sad actress one you did! if you don’t mind, can you pls do the same but with kokichi, kiibo and nagito?
I am so glad you liked my previous work! ❤️ Of course I will write one for you, I hope this meets up to your expectations c: -Mod Kaede
Tumblr media
Quick Summary: Reader is the SHSL Actor and uses their talent in more way than one, such as always willing to help anyone and is always calm and happy, but is actually a broken person.
This is sad, Kiibo play moonlight sonata
Kokichi Ouma
—When you were first introduced, Kokichi immediately took interest in you because he admired your acting skills. You could pretend to be in any mood and he wanted you to join his secret organization and work for him.
—Even though he said his pranks were harmless, you had to refuse because you wanted to help people with your talent, not put them in pain.
—"How boooring," he then left you alone. You guessed that was the end of it but he kept watching over you.
—You were trying to help anyone, putting them before you and completely ignoring the fact that you had a life of your own and still tried to keep up with everybody although you hadn't have time.
—Watching over you from afar made him realise how lonely you actually were. He saw how unhappy you were and your efforts of trying to put a smile on everyone's faces when you clearly weren't at your best. That pissed him off, truly
—"Auch-" "You shouldn't have run so carelessly, you are lucky you didn't sprain your ankle." You said as you massaged his ankle gently and smiled softly. "Does it hurt? How does it feel?" You asked him. "It doesn't hurt at all." He said, looking away in annoyance.
—"Oh, really?" You slowly took your hands off his knee because he didn't need to be massaged anymore. He made a sad face, "Wait, it hurts now!" He said dramatically. "Oh really? What can I do for you?" "Y/n, if you kissed my ankle it would get better immediately." You rolled your eyes at his request and he started to cry. "Kokichi, these are obviously crocodile tears."
—"Aw, that's a shame.." He looked aside, "I am always lying so you got used to it, huh.. You should be careful around with liars, Y/n!" He claimed with a smile. But that smile faded away as soon as he looked at you. "Though who am I to say that.. I am already friends with one." He pointed at you and you stepped back, somehow offended. "M-me?! What the.. When have I ever lied, Ouma?"
—"Come oooon, you lie all the time! Don't try to deny it because I've seen it myself! Always trying to keep up with people and ignoring your needs.. That sounds like you, doesn't it?" He smirked at you, but that wasn't a real smile at all. "You don't really have respect for yourself, do you? Because lying to yourself is the worst.. Y'know."
—Sweating a bit, you started to panic. So he knew about it..? How come? Since when?? "You don't need to be afraid, I haven't told anyone about it..." He looked at you deeply, "..Not yet, I mean."
—"W-why would you tell anyone about it?" Your voice broke a bit. That wasn't your intention- You are showing weakness, Y/n, come to your senses!!
—"Because I care about youuu, isn't that obvious?" He raised an eyebrow at you but you didn't dare to reply. This could be a lie as well. "You're only keeping this a secret because you don't have solid evidence yet, am I wrong?"
—"'You totally got me!' That's what I'd say.. But I can't deny this is one of the reasons.." Kokichi pinched your cheek playfully and annoyed you. "So for now.. I'll stay by your side until you finally decide to open up to them, okay? Because I really want to see a smile on your cute face. And that's not a lie!"
—You looked at him in the eye, nodding uncontrollably. Cooperating for now. "So good, Y/n."
Keebo
—Kiibo admired you in a hardcore level. You were just what he wanted to become. You could pretend to be anything and you understood everybody pretty good, too. You helped them in the blink of an eye and always checked up on them if they did need anything!
—He was so happy and relieved to have someone like you around. You even entertained people with your talent.. Were you an angel?
—He followed you around like a duckling because he was always so curious about you and he wanted to know more about you. Your perspective, your dreams, likes, dislikes, anything.
—Thanks to Tenko's remarks of him following you, you finally asked what was up with Kiibo. He said he wanted to be more like you, and you asked him if he wanted you to tutor him? And he said yes!
—So you started teaching him. Teaching him how human emotions are supposed to work, without making any robophobic remarks,, unlike someone he knew,,, Kiibo was taking notes the whole time and you truly helped him to understand!
—Kiibo was thinking way too highly with you and he was really affectionate with you to the point where others started to assume you guys were actually a couple. Well, you weren't denying anyways.
—But.. Kiibo noticed a big contradiction in your words. You taught him how to make somebody happy when they're upset, you taught him how to check up on people and ask if they need help and the most important part... you taught him how to ask for help, too. But you never did that?
—Yeah.. Now that he noticed, your eyes never sparkled when you laughed and you seemed very upset most of the time. He found you lost when you were alone. He noticed how you were able to change your mood, but it never felt real to him, for some reason? Was it only acting? That was heartbreaking to him. The person he admired most was having a hard time with something.. And he didn't know what to do.
—"Kiibo? Kiibo!" You've been waving for a long time when he finally noticed your presence. "Ah, Y/n! Hello, sorry I didn't notice you."
—"It's okay. Is something the matter though? You looked really unpleasant." You say worriedly and he stares at you for a while before blinking away. "No, everything's fine. Though I can't deny something about you was bothering me..."
—"What?" You asked confused and he immediately freaked out. "Wait!! I didn't mean it to come out as rude! You never bother me. I am actually so happy to see you walking around--" He was stuttering. "Sorry, Y/n.." He apologized immediately, begging for your forgiveness. "No.. It's fine, what's up?"
—"Uh-uhm.. It's just..." He looked at you in the eye before turning his head away, "You." He sure loves to confuse you! "I.. I noticed it a while ago and I am not too sure but, Y/n.. Are you in a good mood?"
—Before you could even reply he continued. "That wasn't really a question, I just think what we see isn't the real you.. You seem upset all the time, why is that? What makes you sad?" You blinked few times. Was it obvious? But you were hiding everything.. Since when has he been aware? "I am sorry if I am asking too many questions! I just got worried.. Because you always help those around you but you never ask for help. And I don't like seeing you sad, because you are really sweet when you smile."
—"Kiibo, I am fine, really-" You held your hands close to your chest and kept explaining, "I appreciate that you're worrying, but it's fine. It was only in the past.. And I've recovered now."
—"But still-!" Suddenly he held your hands and you let out a little scream, "I want to help you recover, Y/n! I know how hard it can be and I am willing to take the burden, with you." Without letting go of your hands, he continued, "So please, don't go anywhere. Don't hide anything, and try to smile.. For real. I will do my best for you."
—And now you were facing a blushing Kiibo. How sweet. Bonus points if you are also blushing.
Nagito Komaeda
—My honest opinion? He couldn't admire you more. Ultimate Actor..? Just like many other people, he saw you as his idol and always looked up to you!
—Such big shining hope... Everything about you was just perfect and flawless.
—You two often teamed up, he thought he was really lucky and happy to have someone like yoy with them! Whenever the mood was bad, you stepped in to brighten it. Without your help, the others wouldn't have moved forward.
—He always thinks very highly of you and to be honest he sees you as his Ultimate Hope, so it took him some time to actually realise that was just you pretending to be a caring person
—The first time Hajime pointed out to him, he was confused a bit. "Y/n is... Depressed? What? Are you aware they're one of the most shining people here? They're truly happ-"
—"Just shut up and look closer." Hajime told him to watch over you more carefully, and left. Nagito was confused. Out of all people.. It was you depressed? The one Nagito feels happiest when around?
—"That's nonsense... My Y/n would never.." That's what he said. He couldn't sleep that night. He felt so awful for starting to doubt you. You were always so honest with him and everyone, was that only a lie?
—There he watched you, carelessly offering help to Mikan who tripped again. You spent no time to help her stand up, you were the one first moved to help. That cannot be a lie.. But at the same time, what if it became a habit of yours?
—He hated to admit.. But Hajime was right. You weren't like what he thought of you—yes, you were an admirable person with an amazing talent and you were the sweetest person around! But.. again, yes, something wasn't right about you.
—"Nagito!" You jumped to give him a tight hug and he awkwardly hugged you back. "Huuuh?" You looked at him and smiled, "What's up?? Why aren't you hugging me properly?"
—"Ah-Sorry! I am a bit sleepy, that's all, hahah." He laughed and pat your head (ejvnmrcmcjcnc) You raised an eyebrow at him suspiciously. Ever since you started dating, it was easier for him to fall asleep. "Did you have a bad dream or anything like that?" You asked worriedly and he shook his head. "No.. Uhm, Y/n, do you want to take a walk with me? Maybe we can talk a bit."
—You were confused but still went with it. The curiosity was eating you alive but you still remained silence-just like him. When is he going to speak...? "So—uh, Y/n, it is a beautiful day, isn't it." "Y-yeah, it's beautiful indeed..." You laughed awkwardly. This is no good.
—"Y/n.. I've noticed something. I should have noticed it earlier but I only noticed it now-" You gave him the look and he stopped breathing for a second, "Sorry.. It's just that.." He bit his lip and stopped. You got a little bit inpatient. "Come on."
—"N-no, that would make you uncomfortable." He refused to speak but you gently pinched his cheek, "Just tell me. We are good, aren't we?" You gave him the puppy eyes that he couldn't resist and he sighed. "I just think.. You are having a hard time being honest with yourself."
—That was the moment it all hit you. You stopped walking and stared at him in awe. "W..What do you mean?"
—"Now don't get me wrong.. I think you're adorable and that will never change, I mean just look at you! You are always ready to help anyone and put others before you--but.. Is this how you truly mean?" He questioned you and you gulped. Shit. He knew, huh.
—"It's not like I am gonna judge you or anything, Y/n." He took your hand in his tightly just for you to know he's there. "I just wanted you to know I am here, and you can talk to me about anything. You are not alone, you got me and others, don't you?" He smiled at you softly but your heart was beating too fast to say anything. "You don't have to become someone else and hide anything. We are going to help you, just like you always do."
So this request is finally done! It took longer than I thought, to be honest.. I am sorry if these are bad djvnfnkf Anyway, hope you like it!

My Life is One Complication After Another 2
Some cursing 🤬
Ao3 *** Previous *** Next
~~~~~~~~~~
"Okay so where were we?" she smiled turning and sitting back down with Fang.
"As Damian had asked are you in reality my biological child," Bruce took back control automatically.
"You can't be serious Brucie!" Jagged went and began to squish Mari's face. "This little ray of sunshine related to your broody majesty. I don't buy it."
"I am not broody Jared." Bruce defended.
"I'll believe that when Ladybug dates Chat Noir." he joked.
"So it is possible" Bruce responded with a straight face.
Now it was Mari's turn to laugh, "Not a chance. Ladybug and Chat Noir dating is as possible as Atlantis resurfacing." she finally stopped laughing. The Wayne's tensed as if they knew more than others about Atlantis. "I honestly don't know if I am your child. I have no objections to taking a paternity test if you want, but I already have parents who love and support me, but I am not opposed to adding to my family though." she again smiled like the sunshine she is.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng What the Hell!?!" Chloe screamed storming into the room.
"What did I do!"
"How are you trending and you never told me" she gave a mock gasp.
However it was not the same for Mari. "I'm what." She opened her phone and sure enough she was trending. "How did this happen?"
She went into the first article she could and backtracked, through the sources and timestamps. Then it all made sense. She was on the Ladyblog, an interview with Lila claiming she was friends with a Wayne. The media then believing her a lost Wayne which explains why she is sitting with the Waynes and them asking about her paternity.
"How did you not know. M."
"All my accounts are private and I've been busy. But this explains the reporters now huh."
"M you are ridiculous, utterly ridiculous" Chloe grumbled. She was now sitting on the armrest Mari was leaning against next to Jagged. "At least tell me you remembered to send the photos and interview." Mari sprung up, Fang having sensed the impending jump. "logged into my laptop" Chloe yelled throwing her key to Mari.
"Meet you at the hospital. 20 minutes. bye" she yelled as she ran down the hall taking the stairs faster.
Chloe and Penny got up followed by Jagged heading to the door.
"Whatcha wait'n for Brucie come on" Jagged called to the billionaire.
Slowly the Waynes stood and followed the others to the hospital, sharing looks and texts the entire time.
True to her word Marinette met with them 20 minutes later on the dot in the hospital.
Both Marinette and Bruce had a blood sample and a mouth swab taken. The doctor then came back an hour later with the results.
"Alright. By the genetic markers that were tested. I can say quite confidently that M. Wayne is the biological father of Mlle. Dupain-Cheng." The doctor handed them a folder. "I'II leave you to process."
Marinette didn't need long to process. In fact her only thought was, Well one more for the list. Everyone in the room was watching her. "Okay" she jumped down from the bench, crap. Forgot about that. Her smile never faltered but her eyes were closed a second too long.
In that second Chloe had taken her purse and was holding up a pair of athletic gloves. “Care to explain!” She held the gloves waving them towards Marinette.
"Um, Well, You see" Marinette started to mumble.
"Why don't you explain in the car" Penny came to her rescue.
"We'll get Pizza and have a Rock' n time" Jagged lightened the mood.
Everyone nodded, walking out Mari kept her hands in her pocket. She was putting on her second pair of gloves, Tikki in her hood, she needed to think and running always helped. Mari was only a few yards away when Chloe noticed, Mari spun to face her when she heard her.
"Red!" Chloe yelled. She noticed how two boys froze, Jason and Tim if she is correct.
"Goldie!" she responded, not missing a beat. She heard Chloe behind her.
"Cat." Penny stated.
"Bird." responded Jagged further confusing the Waynes as they neared the hotel.
Tim was the first who noticed the two girls in front of the hotel. Meaning he was on his phone mapping and timing the route.
"Pizza will be delivered in 10." Mari spoke as the other seven stepped out of the car.
The two girls went ahead of them, but instead of the elevator they took the stairs.
Half way through the second of three pizza did Tim finally speak. "How did you two get back so fast." Tim set down his Pizza as he began to gesture frantically. "There is no way for you guys to have beat as it is a fifteen minute drive and a 30 minute walk, 20 if you run. Wait how did you get there in 20 minutes with a detour." Tim surprisingly still had breath.
"The fastest way from point A to B is not through C." Was Marinette's response as she took a bite. Yet that didn't seem like a sufficient answer as her now brother's eyebrows were still knit in confusion, so she took a breath and said. "Free running, it's a great stress reliever." she finished.
"What did you hit this time?" Jagged gave her a semi serious look.
"I didn't hit anything," a pout on her lips. "The pigeon flew into me."
Dick started laughing "she is definitely yours B, I can say for sure even without that paternity test." Another two hours had passed before she noticed the time and bid everyone goodbye. She gave her number to her father and brothers, Damian begrudgingly because Dick put it in and gave it to Mari.
Her parents had closed early for a date so she was home alone. She went to the couch to sketch a few gift ideas for her newly extended family. She was finishing a semi formal coat with a hidden sling for a katana for Damian. He kept grumbling that if he had it, the way the sword appeared in his akuma form, and she is pretty sure Jason's jokes were more literal by everyone's expressions. When her parents came home.
"Bon soir Maman, Papa," she cheerily greeted them.
"How was your day sweetheart." her Papa smiled kissing the top of her head.
"I met a handful of interesting people." she really didn't know how to broach this subject.
"What's wrong sweetie," her mother must have noticed her be uncomfortable. She sat down next to Mari, and her papa sat across from them.
"Did someone or did these people hurt you." her papa's words began to ring with a hard edge.
"Non, nothing like that. It's just, um," bitting her lip then looking up. "Your not my biological father, are you?"
Her parents froze, and had a silent conversation.
"Marinette, your biological father is an important and busy man. Who has no time for children." Her Maman spoke gently and calmly. "His name is Bruce Wayne."
Okay hold up, she tilted her head empathizing her confusion. "He didn't seem to bad, in fact he has four boys."
"That was who you met today," her papa affirmed, seemingly surprised.
She nodded her head and told them what had occurred today, leaving out the akuma and her free running. When she finished her parents once again held a silent conversation.
"Why don't we invite him over tomorrow for lunch. While you show his boys around." her maman smiled.
"Okay I'll send them a message then." Mari smiled taking out her phone.
Tomorrow will be interesting.
But first she had to survive tonight.
Tonight Ladybug, Todd Tenko, and Emeraude Racer were on patrol. Meaning she had the evening with the Couffaine siblings. Since both were holders it wasn't uncommon for them to swap. Meaning Luka would either be Todd or Viperion, and Juleka could be either Racer or Kitsune.
They each knew what was their designated route, and because of the akuma sent earlier the chance of Hawkmoth striking again was less likely. Each one of the heroes went their separate ways and made their rounds. So when the three heroes went to their rendezvous at Notre Dame's bell tower it ways almost two hour later. However, she noticed she had a tail when she passed the Eiffel tower. So she called Todd and Racer to set an illusion and ambush at the bell tower.
When she stepped on the bell towers stopped in the center and so did her tail with four others, forming a 'v" behind her. Todd's illusion left a Ladybug in the center of the tower while she moved to an ambush point. Four figures swung in and stood at each corner, a Todd Tenko, Emeraude Racer, Honey Bee, and Chat Noir.
"Shouldn't all of you be in Gotham?" Ladybug asked for her.
That seemed to take the vigilantes in her city by surprise.
"We heard about the situation and we just want to help." Nightwing, she is pretty sure, spoke up.
Chat Noir scoffed, "huh as if we would believe that."
"Tt. believe what you want. That is the truth." Robin spoke this time. Interesting.
"Yes after being ignored and called liars for three years really builds trust." Honey Bee's hand curled on her top as she spoke.
Batman seemed like he was going say something, but she jumped down from her perch breaking the Ladybug illusion. As they watched her materialize fifty feet up, followed by Racer and Todd flanking her mere seconds later.
"Todd," her eyes never left the five in front of her as she spoke.
"What!" Red Hood jumped in surprise, "How?"
"Curious. But Todd," this time she turned. "can you drop Mirage." Her teammate nodded and the four illusions disappeared. "Do you need to recharge?"
"Already did LB", he smiled.
"Okay," she pulled out her yoyo, and a box fell out into her hands. "who wants a snack before heading back out."
"Me!" Racer rushed to the box pulling out a strawberry eclair.
It is almost a good thing she always makes eight eclairs for patrol. Seriously she makes two for those on patrol, but after Adrien always left them with one and ate four, did she start bringing more.
Before leaving to do a final sweep of patrol. The three Parisian heroes spoke with the visiting vigilantes.
"We could send them Pinky's way," Ladybug responded to Batman's ask for more information.
"Do you think that's smart?" Todd asked.
"Who is Pinky?" Red Robin stepped into the conversation.
"She is our civilian contact and reserve hero." Racer answered.
"Why isn't she a permeant hero?" Nightwing brought up the question.
"Her identity was compromised but and we aren't sure how many know. So she is kept an back up." she answered.
"Who is she and how do we contact her?" Batman demanded or asked in his case.
"She is Multimouse, her name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng." All of them seemed to flinch and paled slightly. "And she'll find you."
The three Parisians stood and left.
Yup, tomorrow is going to be interesting.
Extra:
“So was I supposed to find out the Wayne’s were the Bats on my own or would you have told me?” Mari scolded her boyfriend over video call when she got home from patrol.
“I knew you were smart but less than a day you really are a lucky bug.” He smirked at her.
She crossed her arms and glared at him.
“Okay, okay.” He rose his hands in surrender. “But how did you figure it out anyways?”
“Apart from Tim and Jason flinching when Chloe called me Red, Damian’s katana grumbles and Tt., Jason freaking out because Todd was on patrol with me, and all of them paling at my name. It wasn’t to hard to piece together after that.” She shrugged.
“You know you’re scary sometimes right?” He feigned chills a goofy grin on his face.
“You love me though.” She teased him.
“I know I do but I know to keep in your good graces.” He responded now completely serious. “By the way, why was my idiot in Paris?” '
“I apparently made headlines a a lost Wayne.” She waved. “Which has more truth than the media knows apparently.”
“You’re serious!”
“Turns out your idiot is my adoptive idiot brother.”
“So are you related to Dick or Tim?”
“Try Damian.”
“To Demon Spawn! How?!”
“Bruce is my biological father.”
“The bug is a bat. Great!” he rolled his eyes, “I knew you weren’t normal but this is ridiculous.”
“You aren’t exactly normal yourself.” She replied pointedly.
“Ya but you love me.” His goofy grin was back.
“Yes I do.” She smiled in return.
Tantrum
Tumblr media
Shigaraki x Female Reader
Set after AFO gets arrested / established relationship
People often mistook Shigaraki’s moods.
They would label them as a tantrum or put it down to his inexperience at leading; at times they would mistake a mood swing for something much worse and tiptoe around him when it was only a minor shift in his demeanour.
It wasn’t until All For One was taken that the core members of the League saw the most dangerous of his moods. Y/N remembered coming into the man’s room and seeing her comrades, who were strangers at the time, silent and wary – as if they were watching a rabid wolf rather than a young man. A small nod exchanged between her and Kurogiri made her presence acceptable to the others and she approached Shigaraki.
A hand reached out and grabbed her arm, a soothing voice came from behind a patterned mask, warning her not to go near. A small smile and gentle withdrawal of her arm from his grasp was all it took for him to reluctantly allow her closer.
“Tomura.”
Crimson peered out from behind the curtain of pastel blue hair and she watched is arms tense as they held the hands – his family – closer to himself. There were so many feelings conveyed in his eye that she wasn’t sure which to address first.
There was a quiet, burning, anger inside him.
Anger that he lost, that he failed and his Master was gone.
Anger that was slowly forming into a plan.
She could see by the way he had pulled up his hood, turned his body a little away from the others, that he wanted to be alone. He hadn’t told anyone to leave and that told her he also needed to have people near – his people.
The need to not let anything else be taken from him.
All For One had saved him, had taught him and no matter how many times he failed, All For One picked him up again. The way he had bundled the hands to his chest, hunched slightly over them like a brooding hen over her eggs, his need to protect what was his was clear. The silent threat that if anyone even tried to take one, even a finger, he would kill them.
His gaze misted over the longer she stared, looking not at Y/N but through her, way, way past her as he drew further into his mind and plans. Just before she had lost his attention she had seen what this ‘tantrum’ really was.
He was hurting.
The protective stance over his family was a disguise for what was really vulnerability. He needed comfort, something inside him, perhaps the remnants of Tenko, needed to be consoled. Not wanting to be alone, the hurt he was masking with anger…
This wasn’t a tantrum.
“Can you all leave?” Y/N turned her back on Shigaraki, attempting to block him from view, unconsciously shielding him, “I don’t think we need an escort, we’ve been dating long enough, right, Kurogiri?” She smiled brightly at the group, something so out of place in the room suffocating them all in the density of tension coming from one man, that they didn’t move at first. A few side eyes went to the Warp Gate as if to verify her existence.
“Of course,” he opened the door and slowly the league filed out; Twice and Toga having to be gently nudged out by Mr. Compress when they hesitated.
Once alone, Y/N let out a soft sigh and hovered her hands over the ones in his arms, “Shall we put them to bed, Tomura? It’s late and everyone is tired, right?” Her voice remained quiet, gentle enough to coax him into doing what she liked but without treading into patronising territory; He wasn’t a child. Shigaraki needed to feel in control of something and she knew that telling him to put the hands away would agitate him further. “We should put the trouble makers aside first.”
Opening up a drawer that was specifically for the hands, a space for each one, she waited patiently for him to decide what he wanted to do. Forcing him wouldn’t do and if she distressed him enough to hurt her then she knew he would just withdraw further into himself. A minute or two passed, the tension in the room easing just a little when he finally took the unnamed pairs of hands and placed them in their spot, “The old folks next.”
The next set to go where his sister’s, then his Mothers and finally it was Father’s turn but Shigaraki paused. “You’re in charge, Tomura, if you don’t want to then you know I don’t mind Father. It makes it hard to cuddle though…”
“Thank you,” reaching for his hood, Y/N was stopped by his grip on her wrist – he held her too tight and he was dangerously close to making contact with all five fingertips. He was more possessive than usual, she figured it was from having so much snatched from him that night. “That hurts, Tomura, I’m not going anywhere. I came all the way across Japan to see you. I even left my own coterie without a leader.”
Giving him an incentive was the best she could do when his mind was so fractured and busy. He would gain her if he chose to let Father go. She never thought she’d have to be an afterthought to a taxidermy hand when they first got together. Here she was though; waiting to be chosen.
Almost Reluctantly, he placed the final hand away and closed the drawer.
Hearing a short huff of air leave his nostrils, accompanied by the almost unnoticeable twitch of his lips, Y/N knew she’d amused him with her words. “A gang, Y/N. Call them what they are.”
“I have to use gang but you get away with ‘League’” It was a small insignificant jab, however, it was chipping ever so gently at his despair and his hold gentled. He allowed Y/N to push his hood back and run her fingers through his hair in soothing strokes; over and over until he allowed them to trail down to his ripped raw neck. “Let me take care of these.”
“No.”
“Tomu-“ Red eyes shot to hers and Y/N closed her mouth, thinking how to best deal with this. She wasn’t afraid of him, she was afraid for him and how it would affect him if he lashed out. He had never harmed her outside of training or the one time he laid an entire hand on her body – the brief touch had left a scar on her thigh. Thankfully it hadn’t been enough to cause irreparable damage but he hadn’t wanted to touch her for a long time afterwards. “Okay, then can we at least go to bed? We don’t all have Kurogiri to warp us everywhere – I hate flying. I hate having to remember a false identity and then using my quirk when I mess it up.”
Shigaraki took her wrist and pulled her toward his bed, the awful, drowning aura she had walked into at the start was almost gone and she was sure she could offer him more comfort than those hands ever could.
People often mistook Shiaraki’s moods.
What looked like madness clawing at the man was oftentimes his way of asking someone to care enough to comfort him.
V3 Girls x Shuichi's Twin
At the Class Trial, it was revealed that your twin had unfortunately been poisoned. It was devastating to you; your own lifelong brother, the person you were closest to, had been killed. Was it your fault?
Tumblr media
"Hey... S/O, let's get out of here."
She noticed you still standing at your podium, staring blankly. All the others were already gone.
She smiled sadly at you, and took your hand in hers, giving it a tight squeeze.
"You know, Shuichi was such a great guy, S/O. Kind, caring... I was glad to have him as a friend, and he was probably a great brother."
Kaede led you off the podium, and started to walk with you, hand in hand. To your surprise, instead of one of your rooms, she led you to her lab.
"I could tell you were feeling a little guilty, and I just wanted to let you know that nobody thinks it's your fault. Nobody could've known about the poison, S/O."
She sat at the piano.
"Please, allow yourself to get lost in the music. This one... I dedicate to Shuichi."
She started to play whatever was in her head at the moment, not being concerned with how the melody flowed or which notes would go together. She noticed how you closed your eyes and just listened to the soft notes she played, getting lost in the music.
Tumblr media
She's never been the best at comfort and emotions.
Kirumi more so specializes in completing tasks and requests that people ask of her; comforting was never one of them.
It absolutely broke her heart to see her significant other in such a dark place. It made her angry. How could the killer do this to Shuichi? To you?
"He would've wanted you to be strong, S/O."
She sat next to you on your bed, holding you in her arms as she rubbed circles on your back. Her eyes widened as you started sobbing about how you should've seen it coming, how you should've disposed of the poisons in his lab when you first saw them.
"Your brother... he requested something of me, before he died. He asked me to protect and take care of you, make sure you make it out alive. As a maid... I'm honor-bound to fulfill my request."
She looked you in the eye as she wiped away your tears.
"You may have not been there to stop the killer, but it wasn't your fault, and you need to realize that right away. It was theirs for killing someone we hold so dear to us. Now that we know there's real shady people here, I won't leave your side until we win."
She kissed your forehead, pulling you into another hug.
Tumblr media
She feels a little bit awkward.
How was she supposed to tell you everything was going to be alright, if she didn't even believe that herself anymore?
Still, she tried to make you happy, by going to your room and handing you flowers from her wand.
"I know you probably don't want them, but Tsumugi said they'd be a nice gesture..."
As the expression on your face didn't change, she sighed in defeat.
"S/O, I really did like Shuichi. I'm really sad that he's gone. To tell you the truth, I'm... actually kind of scared. He was one of the only ones here who actually seemed to care about me. And now..."
You were surprised as she burst into tears. You unvoluntarily burst into tears as well, and you two held each other.
"I-I wanna go home! I don't want to be in this stupid game anymore!"
Tumblr media
"How fuckin' lame is it that they poisoned Shuichi?!"
It was an attempt to cheer you up. A sorry one, but it was an attempt no less.
She panicked after seeing how her attempt didn't work.
"H-Hey! I just wanted you to know that I'm sorry about your brother... a-and if you ever need a shoulder to cry on, I-I'm here."
Her softer side came out. It made you smile a little, but you were still devastated. You pulled her into a tight hug, which she was taken aback by.
Eventually she rose her arm up and hugged you back, burying her face into your shoulder.
"I-I'm sorry, he didn't even deserve that. You'll always have me, S/O."
Tumblr media
Seeing you sad makes her sad.
During the class trial, she'd been relentless, accusing almost any person who dared to speak up.
When the killer was revealed, she was disgusted. She spat out a slew of names, telling them Shuichi deserved to live, and now here you both were, minute's after the killer's execution.
"What a piece of scum! He was the only male in this whole building who wasn't a complete degenerate! How dare they toy with my sweet S/O's heart like this!"
She looked over to find you in tears, and she hugged you, stroking your hair.
"I know, I know. It's okay... it's alright... nobody blames you for what happened."
Tenko let you cry into her chest, and glared at your fellow classmates.
"Well?! Show's over, move along! She's grieving, hello!"
Tumblr media
Maki was very used to comforting people, due to her experience with kids.
She knew exactly what to do. She led you outside, where she knew Kaito wouldn't be tonight.
"Talk to me."
You two laid on the ground and talked about everything that you were feeling. You felt partly responsible for his death; you should've been looking out for him more carefully.
"Shuichi is just as mature here as anyone else. Even though that's not saying much, it was out of your control. Don't let the survivor's guilt get to you, please."
You kissed her on the cheek tenderly, thsnking her for being with you.
"It was nothing, S/O. Come on, you should get some rest."
I’ll see you again
Mod Mikan: I usually don’t write for the killing game, but I just got super inspired. This is based off of a headcanon that my lovely daughter @annastormfly shared with me a few weeks ago, and it’s also a gift to her. So um....yeah. This will most likely be my first and last time writing in the killing game AU. I, uh...got nothing else to say. Enjoy :)
Trigger warnings: Death, Suicide at the end
Kokichi knew that Miu was up to something. He had his violet-hued orbs locked into what she was doing, scanning her every movement as she started to work on the virtual world via the electronic technology that created the computer room. The ultimate supreme leader still kept his suspicions held high when she gathered everyone to the technological filled room after she was done. It took some--er, interesting--banter between the ultimate inventor her classmates, along with Monokuma and his remaining monokubs to ensure that it was safe. But what grasped everyone’s attention the most was the ‘secret of the outside’ world
“Huh? There’s a clue about the....secret of the outside world in this simulator? I.....” Anna’s voice trailed off, thinking for a second. Her eyes reverted from the large monitor in the middle of the room, back to Miu’s face, growing some slightly impatient to flat-out annoyed at her. Contemplating the possibilities, both positive and negative, that could result in this risk, the ultimate Dragon Trainer was about to make up her mind
That was...until she felt the warmth of small hand wrap around her own. With a tiny squeeze, her eyes turned to Kokichi’s amethyst colored ones. He extended his height by standing on his tippy-toes, whispering in her ear
“Don’t worry, Anna. You remember what I promised you when we got together? I’ll protect you with my life. No lies,” He smirked, making a pastel pink blush dust upon Anna cheeks. Her boyfriend could be such a pain at times, but when he really needed to tend to his lover, he always knew what to say. He was immaculate with his words and actions when the time called for it, which she absolutely adored
“Hey! Fucking liar and fucking slut! You done whispering about your next fuck session tonight?!” The strawberry blond snarled at them, making Kokichi roll his eyes and plaster an, albeit nonchalant, terrifying poker face towards her direction, earning a slightly frightened face from her
“Geez, don’t get your soaked panties in a twist. We’re coming, we’re coming,” The short-statured leader sighed, taking his seat next to his girlfriend. As he sat down and hooked up the proper wires to his helmet, he gave his girlfriend’s hand one last squeeze, gazing into her eyes for a split second, silently assuring her that everything was going to be okay. Y/N flashed a small smile in his direction as well, ready to tackle anything that happened to them--in reality or the virtual world
And with that, they were whisked away into the virtual world, followed my Miu’s commands
Which only later proved Kokichi’s suspicions
*****************************************************************************************************
The victim was Anna, the ultimate Dragon Trainer. The body was discovered in the computer room on the fifth floor. The approximate time of death was 6:30 am. The cause of death was a blow to the back of the head
Shuichi mumbled to himself, reading the monopad he was given. He bit his lip, frustrated at not only the horrifying sight of one of his best friends with a bleeding gash to the back of their head, but with Kokichi in a state that no one thought he was capable of
The ultimate supreme leader was kneeled down next to his lover’s corpse, bawling his eyes out. Waterfalls poured from his glossy eyes, sniffles left his chapped lips in between heavy breathes. Every time he tried to steady himself and stand back up, he was brought back down to his knees, falling into the pit of despair that was put in front of him. A single blow to his lover’s head.....
How?
How could he let this happen?
He tried to say something when Miu decided on the investigation groups. He knew it was a bad idea to let her call the shots, despite her creating this world. But the ultimate inventor was as stubborn as...well, as she always perceived herself
Was it...his fault he couldn’t stop her head-strong attitude?
“Anna.....” Kokichi started to choke out, raising a surprised look on Shuichi’s face. He ran towards Kokichi, about to comfort and lift him back on his feet, but the shorter boy just snubbed him away. He carried on with his monologue, but really, was speaking and begging for an apology from the only person he was sure he could trust
“Anna....I...I said I would....”
Another sob escaped from his lips
“I said I would protect you......Wh-what kind of leader am I?” He fumbled along his words, containing no energy--or motivation--to even lie in this situation. Shuichi hesitated, before placing a gentle hand on Kokichi’s shoulder. He looked up from his hunched over form, looking at the ultimate detective with a tear-strained face
Not even Kokichi could lie about the despair he felt
“Kokichi.....we need to start investigating. After that, we’ll start the trial and bring Anna’s killer to justice,” Shuichi said, trying to assure Kokichi. The purple haired male just nodded, still not standing up and composing himself after his sob session
“Who....who did this?” Was all he asked. Shuichi frowned, knowing Kokichi needed to clear answer to who brought this upon the only person that was the beacon of light in his broken life
“Koki--”
“WHO DID THIS?!” This time, it came out as a demanding screech, allowing a surge of energy to rush through his small body, enabling him to finally stand up. Before Shuichi could say anything more, Kokichi took a deep breath, looking Shuichi’s in the eyes one last time
“I’ll.....join you later,”
The dark-haired detective nodded, pausing before heading off to question Kaito about his sudden disappearance during the investigation. Kokichi turned back to his girlfriend’s dead body, pressing a kiss on her forehead. His body was all dry from tears to cry, but he choked out another sniffle, running a lanky hand through her hair. Below a whisper, he made one last promise to her
“Don’t worry, my queen......we’ll bring your killer to justice. And after that, you won’t have to wait long for me. I promise,”
*****************************************************************************************************
“The murder must’ve took place during the investigation. It was Anna, Kaito, Kiibo, Kokichi, me, and Tsumugi investigating the mansion area,” Shuichi started, covering his hand with his mouth, as if he was trying his best to recall the events of the scene. Shuichi fixated his eyes onto Miu who remained...awfully quiet during the trial
“Miu, if I recall, you....” Shuichi grimaced at the obvious action of her flipping the sign off the bridge, making it fall into the water on purpose. “...Accidentally” he continued to speak “Accidentally dropped the sign board down the river stream, yes?” Shuichi asked her, earning a small nod from her
“Y-Yeah! So what?! That only means it couldn’t possibly be me! After all, I was investigating the chapel with everyone else!” She snapped, making Shuichi fall silent for a while. Before he could open his mouth to further press the matter, Kokichi interrupted him with a harsh tone
“That cum-soaked urinal cake is toooottallly lying!” He pointed out, shooting daggers in Miu’s direction. She flinched, stuttering and falling upon her words, failing at forming a sentence to squeak out. Shuichi turned to Kokichi with a confused expression painted on his face, which made Kokichi bark an abrupt explanation to his seldom grave attitude
“Kokichi? Wh--”
“I’m not here to play games during this trial. One of you killed my precious Anna. I know exactly who, too. To save you to the boring and pointless mystery-solving shit, I’ll be frank. No lies,” Kokichi cleared his voice, his intense, malicious glance never ripping away from Miu’s face. With that, Kokichi cleared everyone from being executed, except for the killer that brought his lover to hell. The one who ripped the only good thing that happened to Kokichi
“Anna’s killer is Miu Iruma,”
*****************************************************************************************************
“Ding! Ding! Ding! You guys got it right again! Wow, four times in a row!” Monokuma cheered, as Miu was panicking and quivering in fear. She was sweating bullets, too frightened to even glare at Kokichi and scream at him for calling her out
“I-I-I....” Miu stumbled once again with her words, trying to say something to at least die with peace from everyone. Kokichi didn’t bother looking at Miu’s direction, hiding his already sobbing face in Gonta’s chest. The ultimate Entomologist hugged him gently, patting his back
“Gonta very sorry, Kokichi. Anna in better place now,” The large gentleman tried his best to comfort the supreme leader, only to gain more wails and genuine cries from him. Himiko watched Kokichi’s whole break down, shocked at the sincerity he showed from his cries. She frowned, looking down, flashbacks and agonizing memories flooding her own brain
Pondering over her own crying after Tenko and Angie’s trial
“So he can cry real tears....” The ultimate mage slurred out, almost feeling a seed of pity bloom inside of her, watching Kokichi seek more warmth from Gonta’s embrace. Shuichi turned to Miu, a glare glossed over his face, determined to find her reason
“Why did you do it, Miu? Please...at the end...at least give us a reason,” He stated flatly, desiring some sort of answer that would--hopefully--display a human side of Miu. Maybe her reasoning wasn’t shallow?
Wrong
“B-But you don’t understand! The world needs my genius! P-Please!” Miu howled, balling her hands into fist, weakly shaking them. Tears left her face, as they streamed and strained down her cheeks. She looked at Shuichi, her blue orbs pawning at Kokichi’s breakdown next, and finally towards Monokuma. Getting down on her knees, the same way she was when persuading everyone to try out her virtual world simulator, she was ready to beg for her life
“PLEASE! PLEASE MONOKUMA! I DON’T WANNA DIE! PLEASE, I NEED TO GET OUT HERE!!!!” She sniveled obnoxiously, knowing damn well that she wasn’t going to be let off the hook so easily. Of course, the dual-colored bear just laughed at her pathetic nature, his mind not changing
“And waste such an elaborate punishment I have prepared for you? Wow, so insensitive of you. Not thinking about how much thought I put into your very own execution,” Monokuma placed a fake facade of sadness radiating from his atmosphere
“So rude of you not to think of Daddy!” Monophanie huffed and turned to her brother, whom was....er--still suffering from memory loss. Monotaro gasped and whimpered at his mother still shaking like a lost puppy
“Mommy! Don’t go!” He roared, just sending Miu into another breakdown. Before she could even speak, another desperate plea for mercy about to leave her hoarse throat, she felt a tap on her shoulder. The ultimate inventor whipped her head, looking down at Kokichi. Like hers, his face was stained with tear stains and even more red from his immense breakdown. But his words was a cool and torturing contrast to what he was about to spew out next
“Now you get to feel the pain you caused Anna.....only this time....I hope Monokuma triples it,”
Monokuma took Kokichi’s final words as a signal to finally conclude the fourth class trial
“Now, I prepared a special punishment for Miu Iruma, the ultimate inventor! It’s punishment time!!!!”
*****************************************************************************************************
Kokichi didn’t get much sleep that night. He lied down, staring at the ceiling of his room. He frowned, feeling the emptiness of the bed that he sometimes shared with Anna. All those nights he got paranoid and have nightmares about the killing game. The one person he trusted with his life....the one person he, on layman terms “loved”
Gone
Ripped away from him
“What’s the point of living anymore....” He mumbled to himself. Having no energy to even crawl out of bed. He entrusted Anna with his plans to end this killing game. To win it, and take her with him. But what was the point of that now? He saw the only good in his world lying lifelessly on the floor of the computer room
“Everyone hates me......the one person that didn’t is gone.....”
Kokichi felt tired, but couldn’t sleep. It was excruciating. Go to sleep, dammit! He told himself, slapping his cheeks to knock some pointless sense into him.
Useless.....
But there was one thing he can do
Kokichi yanked off the bedsheets from the mattress, wrapping them into the form of a noose. Tying one end around his neck, he looped the other one from his ceiling and tied off the end to make it tight. Stepping onto the bed with a lovestruck, yet twisted smile on his face, a final verbal message escaped his mouth
“I’ll see you very soon, my queen...”
*****************************************************************************************************
“A body has been discovered! Everyone, please report to Kokichi Ouma’s dorm!”
kokichi x Curvy! Tall! reader pt2
kk so this one is looong overdue, i kinda didn't have the energy to finish it after 5 paragraphs, but I finally got it done so sorry anon, and it might not be as fluffy as imagined but mind imagines this situation the most. -mod ouma
Tumblr media
Would it really be worth it to go, would it be safe, with Kokichi you could never know. Right now you were thinking of whether or not it's actually practical to go. He didn’t even give a time, when you were supposed to go, you really can’t tell. Doubts flooded your mind, was the master of deceit just playing with feelings, going so long without reassurance was playing on your brain.
That however was a thing no one would ever know. Kokichi is someone you can never be sure about with anything, nevertheless you got ready to go to his lab the next day, curious but still on guard. You did your hair, got changed and made sure you smelled nice.
The hallways seemed longer than usual, time slowing as all possible outcomes played in your head. Kokichi was all that was on your mind- *bamn*, you ran into tenko. Tenko held her head and slightly growled at the pain, “Stupid degenerate ma-, Y/N!! Oh I’m so so sorry, my fault. You look amazing by the way, stunning!!”
“Ah, Tenko! Thank you, are you ok?” You said. “O-of course, I’m sorry for making you feel worried. Where are you going? let me protect you from degenerate men.” This was a dangerous topic, surely if Tenko knew you were going to Kokichi’s ultimate lab, she would do something to avert you, and either lecture you or try to hurt Kokichi.
“It’s okay Tenko, why are you out anyway?” changing the topic. “To see Himiko of course, I wanna learn how to do cute mage girl spells like her!!!” This conversation was dragging on a tad bit, so you had to wrap it up with a clever closing statement. “I’m sure you’d be an amazing mage, thank you for trying to protect me but I am not going far and am confident I’ll be safe.”
Tenko, happy with that answer, let you go and you two went your own separate ways. With her gone, your mind was left back to wonder what Kokichi had planned for this meeting. That was until someone pulled you round one of the pillars and pulled you along, your hand in theirs, it didn’t take long however for you to recognise the dark to pink ombre hair. “Kokichi, what the hell! You’re going too fast, slow down.”
He turned around for a second, “Nah~” and then upped his pace. You two stopped outside Kokichi’s lab, he let go of your hand, turned around and lent on the wall “I’ve been waiting forever, geez took ya long enough, slowpoke.” like the male had never dragged you along and instead stood there the whole morning.
You were in a slight shocked state and also breathing heavily, so you couldn’t talk. Kokichi took this to his advantage and opened the door with an overly exaggerated butler-like pose. You walked in and took in the sight of his lab, you’ve never seen before. “W-wow, This is so… COOL!” You ran around the room looking at practically everything, leaving a laughing Kokichi, although he got slightly frustrated when you paid no attention to him.
As you were inspecting the throne He grabbed you by the hand and spun you around to face him, making you both fall onto the chair, him sitting either leg besides you in your lap. Kokichi got up real close and personal, finally addressing why you were there. “Not gonna lie ,for once, I didn’t think you’d care enough to come, well I kinda dragged you, but I knew you were headed here anyway, nishishi.”
He paused “Look, I like you, believe it or not~ that’s your choice, I’m afraid. The biggest issue with that is, you don’t like you, so I brought you here to show you everything I love about your body.” he got your face in his hands and slightly smushed your cheeks. “Your face is beautiful and your eyes draw me in so much, like freakin’ magnets. I like that I can squish your face between my hands, it’s just soooo god damn cute!!!”
Kokichi got up and pulled you with him to a hidden mirror in one of the walls. Both of you were seen him pointing at your body in the mirror “Look, sure (sarcastic voice incoming) You’re taller than me and you think that I don’t like that.” He turned you towards him, “but let me tell you crackerjack, I really don’t care and if you ask me-” leaning up to whisper in your ear “I think it’s super sexy~” getting back down changing expressions extremely fast and walking aimlessly around the room.
“It just makes me soo sad when I hear that you don’t like your perfect body…” stopping at a halt and turning to face you. “I mean, we can’t have a potential candidate for my partner in crime, my second in command being unconfident.” then he walked back to where you were still standing, letting him talk. “Y’know if my secret organization were here we’d have a whole meeting about how amazing you are, all 10.000 of us nishishi.”
“Kokichi, I’m not amazing, I mean I’m fat, and especially in a country where being skinny is an extremely important beauty definer. Aren’t you embarrassed to be seen with me?” Kokichi seemed unsurprised yet, his head dropped shadows now covering his hidden face, and he grabbed your hands. “Nishishishishi” His head popped back up with a big smile on his face. “Are you fucking dumb? No no, you’re Kaito, Miu or Gonta, you think I care what people will say nishishi.” “I love it, I love all of it. You are like a human pillow, do you understand how many people strive to be beautiful only to not realise that nobody’s opinion actually matters but their own.”
“Kokichi…” but he wouldn’t let you speak. “If I have to do it I’ll go through EVERY body part and prove to you that it’s beautiful. Crackerjack, let me make you a deal, everytime you say something bad about your body, I’ll pull a prank on you, buuut if you say something good I’ll reward you.” you got kind of confused “what’s the reward?”
His face slightly burning up but nonetheless pretending that it's not happening. Kokichi put his hands on your hips in a suggestive manner (idrk) and said “That’s a special surprise crackerjack.” He pulled his scarf up to hide his face. His and your face darkening. “Anyway I think I should do supreme leader stuff now, doesn’t mean I’ll leave you alone, just means I have evil plans to get on with.” He ushered you out the door, still trying to hide the evidence the thoughts he was having were less than family friendly and sent you on your way, half confused, half hot and bothered and fully ready to try to love yourself despite what the world had to say.
HI! I absolutely love your work and I was wondering if you could give me some much needed angst to fluff in my life. So Overhaul gets his s/o pregnant and gets disgusted with her and completely walks out on her. Maybe comes back and tells her to give birth on the cleanest place ever, his bed. She ends up passing out and he realizes his feelings. Sorry if it's too complicated I just really wanna see it.
I’ve always cared.
Chisaki Kai (Overhaul) x Reader
Warnings: Pregnancy? Chisaki leaving you? I think these are warnings? Angst/fluff bittersweet!
Too complicated?..... Maybe just a bit since Papi-Kai is a sociopath. Actually this was a bit more difficult due to Chisaki’s personality. So I hope you don’t mind but I changed it a bit.
Actor au!  I had to look up film production and childbirth….. Fun.... Well I dunno I actually like this Piece :’) It’s that good hurt.
You didn’t know why you did this to yourself... It was ridiculous. He had made it very clear that he had wanted nothing to do with you or your child… His child. And, yet you still tried his number, you still tried to contact him but the messages and calls never made it through. Blocked, he had blocked you from all his social-media platforms and even went as far as to tell his security guards not to let you near his condo.
You felt stupid for even thinking he cared, for thinking that Chisaki would want to start a family with you. When you had told him of your pregnancy you were nervous but mostly excited because you were going to have a child with the man you loved. You weren’t expecting the horrified look on his face, the disgusted sneer, nor his harsh words.
“M-my career is just taking off” He frowned. “You know how many fans I’d lose if they found out I was seeing someone? Imagine telling them I’m going to be a father? And the mother is some shitty background character from My hero academia!?”
“How on earth was I not careful? I don’t want anything to do with you or that child” He sneered; his lips curling in disgust when you attempted to touch him. “Don’t fucking touch me.” He panicked, he was quick to get out of your sight afterwards.
.
.
“It’s okay” You had told yourself as he left you there pregnancy test in hand.
“Yo (Name) ready to shoot the next- Eh? You okay?”
.
.
           When your friend Tenko found out that Chisaki had said that to you he went on a riot. He was royally pissed and he may or may not have been the one to tip the crew and tell them to leave Chisaki tied to the bed frame for a bit longer… Maybe it was due to all that time he spent tied up on the ground but it seemed as though sense had finally spat in his face. Literally…
“You're such an idiot.” Tenko scoffed. “I thought the whole dumbassery was just an act”
“Shut up.” He frowned. “And untie me already! I wanna go home. Eri is-”
“Eri is fine she went to go check if Mr. Sasaki wasn’t actually hurt.” Tenko huffed. “But we’re not talking about her, we're talking about your second child you dipshit.”
“Listen I know I said some hurtful things to (Name) but I just- I can’t. My hands are full with Eri and I-”
“So, you're just gonna pull what your ex did and abandon your child?” The blue haired male hissed.
“That has nothing to do with anything and-” He was cut off by Tenko flipping him off.
“You know, you're just as shitty as the character you play.” He scoffed before stomping away in anger.
.
.
.
Months had passed. Your belly was nice and round and your due date was near. Your heart still ached when you thought of Chisaki but you knew that you couldn’t bemoan him forever, so you resolved to better yourself for both your sake and that of your child. In fact a week after Chisaki had left you, you were given an opportunity to join the editing team. You had never been more grateful for taking the classes Chizome recommended.
When Chisaki had finally wrapped up his portion of the series you no longer had to see him in person. However, you did have to see him in panels and there was also his child... You saw Eri a lot and although you loved the cheery girl to bits she reminded you that you weren’t good enough to be in Chisaki’s life. That his life was already full and you had been the one wanting more… You weren’t going to dwell on it.
“(Name)! Thank goodness you're still here!” You heard the green haired protagonist sigh.
“Midoriya? What are you doing here? I thought you guys were filming outside today.” You asked.
“We are!” He panted “I-it’s just that Eri’s part is over and she wants to go home and no one else knows where Mr. Chisaki lives and he said he won’t be able to come by for a couple hours and Eri is crying and we don’t know what to do and I thought I’d ask you because you-”
“Midoriya! Breathe.” You laughed. “I can take her, it's fine.”
“Thank you!” He grinned sheepishly. “Guess Deku’s habit has rubbed off on me.” He laughed.
.
.
.
“So sweety, which flavor do you want?” You chirped, watching as the young girl beamed at the prospect of eating ice cream before dinner. You had decided to get the bluenette a small treat before taking her to-
“I want that one- Ms. (Name)? A-are you okay!” She yelped.
“Hah~ I-I’ll b-be fine my w-water just broke.” You gasped; leaning over the ice cream vendors cart to grasp at the metal pole tightly. It fucking hurt. You were scared.
“What d-does that mean?” She panicked watching as the ice cream man tired to call an ambulance.
“The baby.” You groaned. “I’m about to have my baby.”
“Here?! C-can’t you hold it in?”You let out a pain filled laugh at the question and shook your head.
“Eri I’m going to need you to call your daddy so that he can pick you up.” You breathed, thanking the ice cream man for calling the ambulance. He waved off your thanks and helped you to a bench as Eri dialed her father’s number.
“D-daddy? Yes I know but I need you to pick me up…… No (Name) can’t take me she’s going to have her baby….. I don’t know I told her to hold it so I think she’s going to wait until she gets to the hospital…. The street? Um 401 Shisui Dr… Okay, I will, I love you, bye.”
You breathed in and out deeply as per the instructions of the ice cream man when you felt Eri slide her hand into yours.
“Daddy said you might be scared and that I shouldn’t leave you alone.” She smiled. You were grateful. It felt as if though hours had passed but it had really only been five minutes. Chisaki’s car screeched to a halt at the curb and he quickly stepped out.
“Eri, get in the car. Sir I can take her from here thank you for your help.” He told the ice cream man as he helped you stand.
“He already called the ambulance.” You protested.
“There’s a roadblock on fifth, it’s roadwork and there going to have to take the long way. Besides, I already called and told them not to come.” His words flowed from his lips in a quick panic as he helped you into his car.
“This isn’t the way to the hospital.” You panted.
“I know but I already told you about the block.” He stressed.
“.....You know I won’t push him out right away right?” You deadpanned. “Besides my contractions just started so I’m sure going to the hospital is the better bet.”
“I’d  rather not risk it.” he replied.
“You rather not risk it?” You scoffed. “I’m the one in labor! Besides, since when do you care.”
“...I’ve always cared.” he mumbled.
“Bullshit!” You hissed in pain.
“Language.” He frowned looking at you and motioning to Eri.
.
.
.
You had been on his bed for hours. Sweat drenched your body and his sheets as you moaned in pain.
“Fuck you! It hurtssssssssss” You hissed; glaring at the golden eyed man.
“It takes two to tango.” he shrugged. He had made arrangements so that Eri could sleep over her friend's house and he promised her that you would be alright.
“Ahhhhhhh” You wailed as another voilent contraction surged through your body.
“You can do this (Name) Your strong-
“Of course I’m fucking strong! No thanks to youuuuuuuu” You clenched your teeth.
It was a long night……..
After one final push you heard the wails of your son. And when Chisaki handed him to you, you burst into tears. And, even though he looked like an alien you thought he was the most beautiful thing in the world. However, you were so exhausted. Chisaki let you drift off into a peaceful slumber as he held his son….
His yellow eyed looked down at the pudgy thing in his arms and he felt tears gather at his waterline. He looked to you and then to the child. He hoped it wasn’t too late to fix things between the two of you. And as he cleaned up he prayed that you could forgive him.
“He’s so cute.” You gushed when you had woken up. The small being’s lips closed around your nipple as he drank your colostrum. Chisaki watched the exchange silently, before deciding that he needed to come clean and apologize.
“(Name).. I know you hate me. I mean I would hate me if I were in your shoes. I was an asshole to you and said things I didn’t mean… I won’t try to justify myself but I thought you should know the truth as to why I tried pushing you away… I.. I never stopped caring about you. Truth is I’ve always cared.. I was just so.. Scared. Everytime I look at Eri I wonder if I’m doing a good job. And sometimes I can’t help but think I’m a shitty father. Then there’s you. We had been together for two years. I was never able to give you anything. Not a ring, or a home and sometimes not even my time.
It scared me when you told me you were pregnant. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know if I was going to be any good and so I ended up hurting you. I understand if you don’t want to get back with me or if you don’t want me in his life.. Fuck i really fucked up.” He cried. “(Name) I’m so sorry. If I could take it back I would! I’m a fucking coward and I’m even more shitty for waiting so long to tell you.”
Your heart still longed for Chisaki, but you weren’t sure if you were ready to be with him again. You wouldn’t deny him from seeing his son but for you to give him a second chance so that you all could be a family… That was going to take time.
“H-how about we talk about that later.” You sniffled motioning him over. “For now let’s settle on naming him. Then we can talk about me forgiving you.”
Atrophy & Rally Pt. 10
Tumblr media
“Real love is always chaotic. You lose control; you lose perspective. You lose the ability to protect yourself. The greater the love, the greater the chaos. It’s a given and that’s the secret.”
                                                              ― Jonathan Carroll, White Apples
Tumblr media
Quirk nullification between soulmates wasn’t extremely common, but it wasn’t unheard of either. It was, truthfully, a luck of the draw situation. Some people that had disastrous quirks held out hope of being able to hold their soulmate one day, touch-starved and desperate, only to find out their soulmate would still fall victim to their quirk.
However, it was more and more commonplace that two soulmates with quirks would have the nullification go both ways, regardless of how dangerous the quirk was. Not having the nullification was becoming more of an issue between soulmates where one person had a quirk and the other did not. But with only twenty percent of the population not having a quirk, and that number going down each year, the issue wasn’t as dire or painful as the past.
But despite the statistics, Y/N had always believed in her fated soulmate. They had lived in pain, and she couldn’t help. Then any pain she ever got from their end had been eerily timed, and she just knew they would turn out to be a villain. After all that. . .bad in her soulmate’s life, she promised she would be the good and no quirk would stop that.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Back in the cramped, solitary, psychiatric prison cell the two soulmates’ eyes were still locked on one another.
The blue haired ex-villain muttered Y/N’s name back to her as a softness settled in his eyes. A calm after so much storm. Seeing the warm look in his eyes made Y/N feel like her heart was literally clenching in her chest; she could see how earnestly, surprisingly happy he felt because his quirk didn’t kill her or even hurt her in any way.
Slowly, Y/N reached up with both hands to grab his hand she had nuzzled previously. She held the long-fingered hand in front of her face, eyes flickering to his before focusing back on the hand as she gingerly placed light kisses on each fingertip.
---------------------
Tenko had gasped at the first light touch of her lips to his skin, and then his heartbeat just kept accelerating with each fingertip. The light blush that had begun to dust his cheeks became a deeper red and traveled to the tips of his ears and down his neck as she grabbed his other hand and repeated the gentle act on those fingertips too. Nothing matched the way his heart felt like it was going to drop straight out of his ass at Y/N’s next action though.
------------------
Y/N firmly gripped his wrists in each hand as she paused to look him in the eyes like she was searching for something. Seeing the apprehensive look Tenko held, speaking volumes about how he was still concerned about her with his quirk, Y/N’s eyes seemed to steel themselves.
She switched her fingers from around his wrists to interlocking with his own fingers and repeated, “Tenko. You’re quirk can’t hurt me.” Then she shifted her fingers from between the young man’s and pressed each fingertip to his solidly while her remaining digits wrapped around the space where he was missing fingers. “Each fingertip. That’s the quirk right? Each one touching activates the decay.”
------------------
It was like Tenko was in a trance though and seemed like he hadn’t heard a word she said as his eyes watered in awe once again.
A single tear fell from the corner of his eye as he finally repeated Y/N’s words back to her, “My quirk can’t- My quirk won’t hurt you.”
Y/N was nodding vigorously, “Yes. Yes, exactly. Now, we don’t have much time today, but I would love to come back tomorrow if that’s okay for you? I know everything has been. . . A lot. And things are changing. And you’ve had a lot dropped on you. And I may not be-”
The babbling hero was cut off when Tenko interlocked their fingers again and gave a sharp tug to stop the word vomit. He couldn’t get the words to come out, but he gave Y/N a heavy look; the weight of it more than any words.
Of course he wanted- no,- needed her to come back.
“Okay,” Y/N sighed with a breathy giggle at how ridiculous she probably sounded. “Well, before I go there is something we have to take care of. . . So that I am actually allowed to come back.” Y/N’s heart seemed to expand exponentially when her shaggy-haired soulmate tilted his head to the side in obvious confusion to what she was actually talking about.
“All Might, Toshi-” she paused to gauge his reaction, but his response was little more than slightly pinched brows. “Toshinori got me in to see you, purely because of his reputation. There’s no way they would let me, or anyone else for that matter, have visiting time with you. But for sure not me after the incident with Endeavor.” Y/N released one hand from his to rub the back of her neck anxiously. “My actions, despite being for a good cause and not being punished, were not becoming of a hero. Especially one with my kind of reputation on the line versus the current number one.”
“Tch.” scoffed Tenko with a slight roll of the eyes.
His reaction eased the anxious tension Y/N held, and she quickly moved on. “Anyway, only ‘proven’ soulmates are allowed to visit according to this facility’s rules. . .”
‘Proven?’ Thinks Tenko as he brow furrowed again, but quickly realized what his soulmate was talking about even as she continued on.
“When soulmates find each other, one of the first things they typically do is touch each one’s respective soulmark. Like, some kind of instinct. Obviously, there isn’t much ‘typical’ or ‘usual’ about us, huh Tenko?”
------------------
He wanted to humor her small attempt at a joke, but now he was too worried. He didn’t even remember what his mark looked like exactly, but knew it was essentially gone now. Hidden and warped under the burn scarring on his chest, shoulder and neck.
-----------------------
But like before, Y/N could practically read him and his worry was almost palpable. Now it was her time to tilt her head in confusion.
“We. . . We don’t have to. . . Tenko.”
His head shot up from where it had begun to drop in despair. “No! Of course I want to- I just- It.” Frustrated with his thoughts for overlapping and cutting his own explanations off, he gently unhooked the hand still linked to hers, feeling the loss immediately, he placed his own hand over his shirt where the soulmark would be. “It’s gone.”
------------------
Y/N inhaled sharply, her parents had talked about her as a baby once, after the discussion about why her soulmate was frequently in pain. They had told her of a time shortly after she was born when her tiny form had woken from a peaceful slumber screaming like nothing they had ever heard before, skin feeling too hot. They had thought it was a sickness, but the heat had faded quickly and the pain shortly after.
--------------------------------
“Burned.” she muttered as the familiar feeling of bile creeping up her throat began; this had happened a lot when she thought of the pain her soulmate was in as a child. The feeling only increased ten-fold when her broken soulmate nodded, but she swallowed it down. “It doesn’t matter- Not- That is- Your pain and suffering matter.” Deep inhale. “But not being able to see the mark doesn’t matter. It’s there, on the inside. I know it is or we wouldn’t feel this way.”
His eyes still seemed distant, caught up in memories of burning flesh and harsh words about how his soulmate didn’t deserve a monster like him. Tenko-Shim-Tenk- He was falling, again.
‘SLAP.’
The ex-villain’s focus zeroed back into the present as anger rose in the fog of his brain, but when he locked eyes with Y/N again the anger faded to a playful simmer.
“What was that, Player Two?” Softly. “Y/N. . .”
The nickname gave her pause before a wide grin settled over her features.
Grabbing his hand without all five fingers, she squeezed, “Well, Player One. Can’t have you zoning out on me. I’m almost out of time, so we are doing this. Same time. Count of three.”
He grinned back at the use of her nickname for him.
“One.”
Each one moved their empty hand to nudge their tops to the side to give better access.
“Two.”
Deep breaths to settle nerves as they reached across one another to hover their palms. One over a faint, light grey outline of a handprint. One hovering over mottled, burnt flesh.
“Three.”
Hands to skin. One smooth. One roughly textured. Both soft with pounding hearts felt right beneath the surface.
One beat.
Two beats.
Three-
“Oh, wow.” The mark on Y/N’s chest was steadily growing darker, Tenko’s every ridge and imprint of his fingerprints being etched into the mark. A feeling like something expanding inside. Like the space inside where her soul resided was widening to make room for his beside it.
Then an abrupt stop. Like the wall she had thought she felt when trying to reach him over the years. Did his quirk do this like Toshi said?
-----------------------------
On Tenko’s end it felt like his skin was trying to rearrange or something, but nothing was happening. His heart and mind were racing, breaths coming in pants; then a squeeze from her hand again.
“Tenko, please.” His thoughts flew, ‘Please what??’ “Let me in.” ‘Okay.’
Like a switch flipped, everything exploded inside and out.
I don't think I eve shared this
Heartbreak
Summary:
Miruko feels dumb. Their meetups started just as simple hookups, but she soon starts to fall in love with the infamous Shigaraki.
Notes:
Sex is mentioned a few times, but nothing is descriptive at all. Enjoy the angst!
Rumi's stomach was doing summersaults as she was getting dressed, preparing to go home. Her evening with Shigaraki lasted much longer, much to her shyly asking for extra time to cuddle afterwards. She knew she shouldn't be doing that sort of thing. Hookups weren't meant to have any emotions behind them, especially if she was having sex with the most infamous villains in Japan. She just couldn't get enough, and it nearly killed her inside.
"Hey," she slowly sat down on the bed where Shigaraki still laid. He didn't look up from his phone but raised his eyebrows, so she continued on, "Do you mind if I spend the night next week?"
This got his attention. He set his phone down before looking up at her, "Why?"
"Uhm," she suddenly felt nervous and a little shy, "Well, we're getting a blizzard around the time when I get back, and I was just wondering if it's okay if I spent the night."
"You trying to get your little friends in here," Shigaraki leaned towards her, "That would be a big mistake."
"No," Rumi quickly shook her head, "No hero stuff. I promise."
"Then fine," Shigaraki turned away, "Now go."
Without another word, Rumi walked out of the room and was escorted out of the building. The whole way home, she did her best to avoid any fans. She couldn't handle it right now. She loved the attention, and she loved that they loved her. She just hated that the one person that she was falling for didn't and would never feel the same way. As soon as she got home, she sank to the floor and cried.
*****
The night of their sleep over came so quickly that Rumi had no time to even register it. The moment that she was back in Shigaraki's room, he got right to work with kissing her and making her feel amazing. She never really expected the sex to be that great, but Shigaraki surprised her and made her feel so pleased and happy. For a little while, she was happy that she could just shut her brain off and forget about everything that was happening. The more he called her beautiful though, smiling so kindly down at her in a way no one else will ever see, made her heart hurt.
After they both had finished, Shigaraki fell down next to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer against him. Rumi was thinking about how to tell him about her feelings. A small part of her even thought he might feel the same way. She wasn't a cowardly person, and she always said what was on her mind. This shouldn't be different.
"Hey," she cleared her throat, "I have to tell you something," she took a deep breath, "Things have changed."
Shigaraki's hold on her loosened, "I've noticed."
She took one more deep breath and squeezed her eyes shut, "I love you."
"I know."
Rumi was glad she had said something. Weight lifted off of her shoulders, but the silence in the room seemed to choke her. She turned over so she was facing him, hoping to hear him say it back, but he never did.
"Is that all you're going to say," Rumi still hoped that it wasn't.
Shigaraki moved a strand of hair out of her face, "You know what this was supposed to be, just something to pass the time. We both agreed on not getting attached."
"I'm sorry," Rumi felt herself start to cry, "I-you're just-I don't know what to say."
"It's stupid to fall for me, I thought you were smarter then this," Shigaraki watched her break down.
Rumi squeezed her eyes shut and sniffed, "I'm sorry."
She felt him moving in her arms until his back was facing her. He couldn't stand seeing her cry like this. Admittedly, he would break down as well, "If you're attached, then we need to end this. Now I'm not gonna send you out there in this storm, but you're leaving first thing in the morning. And then that's it."
Why did this feel like a break up? She didn't mean to catch feelings for him, she really didn't. She did her best to remember that they fucked, and then she left. She shouldn't have let her get attached like this.
"You're a real asshole," Rumi sniffed.
"What gave that away," Shigaraki scoffed, "Just go to sleep."
"Fuck you," Rumi cried and shoved her face into the pillow, "Ya know, I don't even care!"
"Liar."
"What did you just call me," Rumi peaked up.
"I said you're a fucking liar Rumi," Shigaraki was still turned away from her, "Now go to sleep."
Rumi cried harder into the pillow. She doesn't remember a time when she cried this much and this hard. She felt like she was getting shattered to pieces. In a way, this was a breakup, just nothing that Rumi ever thought she would have to deal with.
"I can stop, I promise," Rumi begged and rubbed his back, "I swear I can! I won't ever bring this up ever again!"
She heard Shigaraki sigh before he turned back over. He wasn't crying, but there was a deep sadness in his eyes. They stared at each other in silence for a while before he opened his arms and spoke up.
"Come here," he yanked her against him and wrapped his arms around her, "I'm sorry I can't be who you want me to be."
Rumi stayed silent for a while, taking in what he said before speaking up, "I'm sorry I can't hate you."
Shigaraki wiped away some of her tears but they just kept coming back, "I'm not sure which is worse. You loving me or hating me. Can I ask why?"
Rumi sniffed, "I don't know. I just...see so much sadness in your eyes and it makes me so fucking mad. I know you wont tell me about your past, you don't have to and that's okay, but it just still makes me so, so sad."
"And," Rumi continued, "You're so intelligent and smart. You have so much drive and talent and skill. You could have done great things. If whatever happened to you didn't, then maybe you could have become a hero."
Shigaraki almost broke down hearing that, but someone had to stay strong and Rumi clearly wasn't calming down any time soon, "Thanks. You're only the second person to ever tell me that."
"Well you should hear it more often asshole," Rumi hugged him, "Your little league would have fallen to pieces a long time ago if it weren't for you."
Shigaraki rubbed her back, letting her cry a little more. In all honesty, he'd be lying if he said he didn't get a little attached. Their meetups used to be every month or so, and they soon turned into once a week, some times twice a week. He would always look forward to her little visits and enjoyed their time together. In his mind, he was fucking the most beautiful woman in the world, and he did enjoy her company.
"I'm sorry I'm getting so emotional," Rumi spoke back up, "I'm so stupid."
"Hey, look at me right now," Shigaraki lifted her by her chin, "You, are far from stupid."
"Do you hate me?"
Shigaraki kissed her lightly, "If I hated you, I wouldn't be doing this. You know, all the stuff outside of sex."
"So," Rumi smiled lightly, "You at least like me?"
Shigaraki held her face and kissed her gently, "You're alright, hero."
Rumi thought about how much she would miss his gentle kisses, "But you want to end this."
"We have to, I don't want you getting hurt," Shigaraki wiped more tears off of her cheeks.
"It's a little too late for that."
"The sooner we end this, the less it'll hurt," Shigaraki said, "If we continue on, then I'm afraid it'll be worse."
Rumi couldn't imagine her life without him, "What if I stopped being a hero-."
"Rumi," Shigaraki interrupted.
"No, think about it," Rumi was doing anything but thinking at this point, "You hate heros, so what if I just retired? Would you love me then?"
"You're being stupid," Shigaraki, "The city needs you. Don't change just because you think it'll please me or because you think that we could date. I'd still be a villain, and it would put you in serious danger. Besides, I like you just the way that you are."
"And, if you stop being a villain?"
"Never gonna happen, bunny," Shigaraki shrugged, "Sorry but I'm not gonna change."
So," Rumi shook in his arms, "This is it."
He nodded, "I'm sorry Rumi. We can't go on. But look, you're beautiful, and you're so strong. I'm not you're soulmate, you can definitely find someone else who will love the hell out of you."
"But I've never felt this way towards anyone," Rumi cried harder, "No other person could ever replace you because they aren't you."
"You'll change you're mind," Shigaraki held her face in his hands, "Rumi, I don't want you waiting for me. All this pain you're feeling, it'll end at some point. It's gonna suck, but we'll be okay, I promise."
Rumi looked away for a moment, "Why are you being so nice to me?"
"What," Shigaraki laughed, "Am I supposed to kick you out in a freaking snow storm? Bunny, I may be a villain, but I'm not a monster."
Rumi pressed her lips against him, and Shigaraki didn't hesitate to kiss her right back. She tasted so good. He would defiantly miss their weekly get togethers. Rumi pulled away first before tucking her head in the crook of his neck.
"I still fucking love you," Rumi whimpered.
"I know," Shigaraki ran a hand through her hair. I love you too, he thought. If he said it out loud, he would break down. "I'll miss you."
Rumi shut her eyes and sniffed, "Goodnight Tenko."
He let her have the final word. He gave her one last kiss on her forehead before the pair drifted off to sleep.
Himiko x Reader one-shot: It’ll Work Out in the End
You knew planning a surprise party would be difficult, but not this stressful. Trying to get all the supplies, organize all of your and Himiko’s friends and classmates, finding a location, on top of the stress this was placing on Himiko. With you gone Tenko glommed onto Himiko even more than usual, much to the magic girl’s distress and would not leave when very clearly told too.
You flipped through your small notebook, double checking the notes you had taken of the caterer you were thinking about commissioning, comparing it to the others, a decision not becoming any clearer despite mulling it over for an entire day, then giving yourself an entire day for a break before getting back to this… You dropped your head onto your desk, a loud thud resounding, a sound your classmates had become accustomed too. “Think I can help again?” “… Yes please.” You sighed as Shuichi flipped around a chair, sitting across you from your desk. You took a quick glance over several pages before speaking. “A. is best quality but will break the bank, B. is in the price range but has so many mixed reviews about the quality of items and service, and C. is a bit more pricy, the quality is supposedly good, but they also allow add-ons for a price which all together would still be cheaper than A. That’s the gist at least.” Shuichi took your notebook, examining your detailed notes, finding you gave a very, VERY generalized explanation. “Mind if I-” “Go ahead.” Shuichi then began going through with several highlighters, marking certain points before doing some research on his phone. You in the meantime, took out another notebook filled to the brim with odd jobs you could take on to add even just a little more to the budget.
“I’m going to help set up a fair downtown, think you could give me the notebook back by evening?” “Yeah, sounds good.” You left class, trotting down the stairs with a slight hop in your step. As you were approaching the front doors, that high pitched squealing stopped you in your tracks. Tenko. Taking a quick glance around you found exactly what you had expected. Your girlfriend saying no or telling the girl to back off and Tenko just refusing to budge. “Here we go again.” you mumbled to yourself, doing some quick light stretches before dashing in, sweeping Himiko off her feet, and carrying her away. “Oh, there you are. I was just about to summon you with one of my spells.” She pat you on the head. Despite hearing Tenko call after you her voice quickly faded away. There were certainly perks that came with being the Super High School Level Traceur, you could escape anyone with ease. Truthfully you were such an escape artiest Himiko thought at first you were a mage as well, specializing in teleportation spells, as she called it. Himiko would never admit it but she kind of liked Tenko bugging her because it meant you’d save the day, holding her closely, making her feel so safe and secure. She was always left in aw at the strange paths you’d take and seeing the world from angles not many others would even think to check. It was much like how Himiko had to work as a mage, seeing the world in a way others wouldn’t think of and twisting that to her advantage. That was also probably why you had basically become her unofficial assistant.
You leapt from fence to fence, dashing across roofs, sliding down trees, and balancing on railings till you had reached the dorms, slowing down, and placing Himiko down. “Sorry Himiko, but I gotta go now. See you tomorrow!” With that said you ran away. “Okay, bye.” A long, drawn out ‘nyeh’ escaped her, seeing you were running away again just as you had been doing so often as of late.
The pay wasn’t great, and not worth all the hard work, but even a single cent was worth it to you at this point. You knew how to be fit, how to plan out paths, but money was a constant struggle so you grew fearful of spending it, likely spending more than you had, but if it was for your girlfriend, you were going to collect as much money as you could, so even if you spent too much, you’d be closer to that amount! Even you were sore, but didn’t bother to stick around for the festivities, looking through your job book, remembering you had another one right after this. And on and on it went, late into the night. You shivered, the sweat dripping off you combined with the autumn wind left you absolutely freezing. “Just some stretches, then you can sleep” a mantra you kept chanting to yourself as you shuffled to your dorm room.
With a trembling hand you opened the door. “Huh? Himiko?” “Y/N, you don’t look good.” “Uh, yeah, just working, nothing too bad though. By the way, how did you get in here?” “It’s magic.” Then you heard “Nishishi” from the open window. “Okay, but why are you here?” “Hiding from Tenko, and you look so tired lately, so I want to help! Helping you is not a pain.” “Ah, you don’t have to fret over me! It’ll be fine and worth it!” You realized what you just said and wanting to quickly distract Himiko starting your stretches, asking Himiko for help by pulling on your arm.
“I’m so sorry for not getting back by evening, Shuichi! I forgot I had work!” “I-It’s fine. I just had more time to work. I took a look at some of the other things you were considering like decorations, I hope that’s alright.” “No, no, that helps so much, thank you!” You fell into your seat, skimming through the notebook, checking what Shuichi would recommend. That was till you heard Tenko, knowing that meant our girlfriend was arriving to class, so you immediately shut the book, a sharp snap sounding through the air as you did so before stuffing it into your satchel. “He-hey Himiko… You’re looking good as always.” You nervously chuckled thinking that was a close call. Thankfully it seemed your distraction was a success, her blushing and thanking you for the compliment. Then you were confused to hear an alarm on your phone going off. The only label it had was ‘job #11037’ “Oh shoot!” Taking your bag, you raced out the room. “Wait, Y/N!” But you were already gone. “It’s okay Himiko! I can keep you company! I can even be your pretend partn-” “Stop it.” She sighed, seeing you had disappeared from class again. “Geez, Himiko. Y/N has been doing this for months now. Do they ever do anything with you anymore? You know, you shouldn’t stick around if they aren’t treating you right.” “Shut up, you don’t know them.” Himiko simply marched past Tenko and sat at her seat.
You had many odd jobs and no break in-between. It was fine though, at least you were kinda adulting, working on finances, working, building a good reputation and gaining contacts was a bit exciting, albeit exhausting, especially so when your contacts recommended you for more jobs, which was good! But… You became dizzy from the mere thought of how much work you now had on your plate. “It’ll all be worth it in the end though!” Reminding yourself of that you got a pep in your step, forcing you to jog back to your dorm, wanting to get back faster so you could get more sleep.
Upon opening your dorm door your exhaustion and worry seemed to hit you all at once but seeing her waiting for you ignited a calming warmth in your breast. “Ah, Hey Himiko!” “There you are… Hyeh?” Himoko walked up to you, standing on your feet, on her tiptoes placing her hands on your cheeks. “You’re so pale, but you feel hot.” “O-oh? Really?” You staggered a bit, leaning against the door for balance, Himiko being so close throwing off your balance strangely. “I-I’m fine, really. “No. You’re not.” “Okay, maybe I’m a little under the weather, but I’ll be a-okay tomorrow! You’ll see!” “Hmm. I’ll use my magic to help you.” Then she hugged you before leading you to your bed. “With you around I’m sure I’ll be better!” You practically collapsed onto the bed as Himiko left to make you a hot drink.
It was… You felt awful. You knew you were awake but weren’t aware of much else. Your head throbbed and your body felt as if it were made of burning lead, so hot and heavy, suffocating even. You groaned, trying to get your bearings. You were… yeah you got to your room, Himiko said she’d make you a hot drink and… and what after that? Wait… what did you even do yesterday? You remembered seeing Himiko at the end of it all, but nothing else. It all kinda just… mixed and swirled together. It was so difficult to breathe, so you tried and managed to kick off the quilts and sheets. It didn’t help much, not even making you feel any cooler. You dragged your arm onto the nightstand, searching for your phone… You just knocked it onto the ground in the process. You momentarily screamed into your pillow frustrated at yourself before quickly stopping, that feeling like too much, making you lightheaded. You tried reaching over the bed but you couldn’t even touch the ground. You kept trying, constantly scooching over the edge before completely falling out of bed with a loud thud. You desperately held onto the ground, your whole world and vision spinning too quickly to know where exactly you were now.
“Y/N!” “Huh-Himiko?” You thought it was her, but your ears were muffled. You felt as if you were underwater. “Are you okay? You need to stay in bed, you’re still so hot.” Himiko helped you back onto the bed. At least in the process you got your phone. “… only twenty-three o’ four? Feels like I’ve been out longer.” “Umm…” Himiko sat beside you and was about to take your phone when you noticed there were many missed alarms. “I tried waking you up, but… you seem to be too powerful for my magic and you stayed asleep… for two days.” “… two days… Wait Two days!?” “Hold on!” Himiko couldn’t stop you as you hopped onto your feet, tumbling over before catching yourself on the table. You keeled over, holding your head in hand, feeling like it were being crushed by boulders. “Hey, slow down, okay? With my magic I can help you heal, but you’ve gotta keep still and rest.” Ignoring her words unintentionally, simply not noticing them, you flipped through your job book. You hummed just trying to focus on something so you could use your focus on other things like reading. Suddenly the book disappeared. “No, you’re not working. You need to sleep.” “I can work!” “You can’t.” “I’ll be fine!” “No, you won’t.” You noticed the book in Himiko’s hand and tried to reach for it, only to fall over in the process. “You are sick. You need to sleep.” You groaned and just followed the feeling you felt on your arm, which was just Himiko leading you to your bed. “H-hey, wait-” “No.” Before you knew it you were firmly tucked into bed. “You are going to sleep, and I’ll use my magic to help you.” You wanted to fight back, begging you body to move, but… Himiko had already cast her spell, curled up next to you, kind of cuddling with her on the quilt and you under it. Why did her calm presents have to be so calming you wondered. There was probably a better wording but before you could deliberate on that everything was already fading.
For the next while everything was very fuzzy, time holding little meaning to your sick self, sleeping on and off again, the only solid thing you could recall was Himiko being by our side, but that was about it. by the time you could think straight… you felt even worse, but not due to illness. You had lost all the jobs. You had thought about trying to explain what had happened to your contacts, but just disappearing out of nowhere when they were relying on you to get the jobs done. You had shattered any rapport you had with them so why would they listen to you, you didn’t even give them a warning. Now who were you supposed to use as reference for more work. You got stuck in a downward spiral trying to figure out what to do, with Himiko’s help. She suggested using her as a reference, but she was your girlfriend, if people found out they’d think she just had a bias for you. It seemed your health deteriorated exponentially after that, the stress just making everything worse. The Super High School Level nurse wound up having to look after you and you were stuck in the nurse’s office.
There you laid just… so frustrated with yourself, fixating on how you could have done better so you could be working now. You looked out the window seeing it was night. You should have been sleeping, but just couldn’t. Even if you couldn’t work any more, the very least you could do was simply plan with what you had and try your best to not go over budget. It was eerie to be in the school at night. You doubted this would be allowed, a student staying overnight at any other school, but this was Hope’s Peak High, anything goes really, so when you heard the door to the room being picked you weren’t surprised, but terrified nonetheless. Then you heard a voice. “Welcome one an all too…” Suddenly the door opened revealing an all to familiar figure dressed in mages’ garb as a checkered boy dashed away with lock picks in hand. “The Amazing Himiko’s magic show!” You simply stared for a moment before lightly chuckling to yourself, clapping.
And thus, the show began. There were many small, light fixtures, softly illuminating the room. The show lasted through the whole night. Kokichi occasionally popping in, making some silly comment and brought Himiko whatever props she needed. The pair together were quite the entertaining duo. You watched tentatively as Kokichi was sawed in half, Himiko leaping into a large tank only to somehow disappear, or when Himiko breathed fire, burning Kokichi’s clothes only for him to be wearing the exact same thing but in reverse colors. There was even a point where you and Himiko somehow flew around the room on a broomstick!  Even as the sun began to raise they didn’t stop, despite Kokichi’s playful complaining and Himiko just trying to get him back to work. It became a comedy show of sorts at times, but it was all so fun. The most fun you have had in a very long time. They only stopped when Himiko fell asleep in the middle of her magic. You had acted as her assistant for a long time, but… it was certainly something else to be her soul audience member. Her trying to find your smile alone, to make only you happy. You just felt so special and almost began to miss her. You had been working so much, then basically knocked out due to illness for so long you hardly spent time with her anymore. You wanted to celebrate her birthday as the greatest day in the world for her. You saw her as so amazing and you just wanted to try your best, but… maybe it would be okay to take a break for a while.
You spent you time just hanging out and going on dates. Thought you were planning all the while, her birthday still snuck up on you. Butterflies fluttered in your stomach as you and everyone else hid on the stage Himiko was to perform on next. You knew she was going to come here to check, and partying in such a large space was surely going to be a blast. The moment Himiko came through those doors you couldn’t resist racing up to her, hugging her as you spun in place, everyone wishing her a happy birthday. The entire place, even the audience’s seats were decorated, an array of Himiko’s favorite food spread out on endless tables, her favorite music blasting from the speakers, and games galore. “Wow, no wonder you were working so hard.” “Wait, you knew? How? Was it… was it that obvious?” Himiko hugged you back, patting you on the head. “It’s magic!” “Ah, I should have known.” After all that had happened, seeing such a bright smile from Himiko made all the trouble well worth it.
