"you mean i got us vip tickets. you practically begged me for them. and don't you have more mora than me? you better pay me back later!" amber huffed, hands on her hips.

"but those are for my coffin advertisement funds!" hu tao whined. "and zhongli keeps making me pay for him. something about childe refusing to be his 'human wallet'?"

"surely he didn't spend that much? after all, it is coming from your own pocket."

"trust me, amber, you do not know how much he can spend."

“guys! it’s starting!” you held your breath in anticipation.

a wave of cheers rippled through the crowd as the spotlights flickered on, pointing at the middle of the stage. there, in all his glory, was none other than…

“i-is that venti?” amber gasped, shock evident on her face.

“holy shit, i think it is!” hu tao pulled her phone out, snapping a picture.

“um, why is he dressed like ei? don’t tell me he’s our ‘special guest.’” you mumbled the last part, trying not to let your disappointment show.

“yo, is he doing her signature move? but with a wine bottle?” someone said, voice echoing out through the shocked silence.

seconds later, whistles and applause rang through the night, as people laughed at the sight before them.

venti grinned, wielding his empty wine bottle like a mic. “thank you, thank you! but now, for our real guest…” he paused for dramatic effect.

“scaramouche!” the five band members yelled together.

the said man swaggered upstage, backlit with an assortment of purple and red lights, for more dramatic effect (you know, like the drama king he is). the fans went wild— you included.

“no fucking way!” you gaped in astonishment.

he met your wide-eyed gaze with a wink, smirking as if he heard you. head ducked away in embarrassment, you felt warmth crept up your face.

xiao donned his electric guitar, moving to stand next to scaramouche. he grabbed the mic off the stand as the teal-haired man plucked a few notes. the two shared a glance before turning to face the ever-enthusiastic crowd.

heizou rapped the wooden sticks onto the drums, while kazuha strummed the bass. aether and venti harmonized the backing vocals, as scaramouche sang the first few lines.

"指切りげんまん ホラでも吹いたら 針でもなんでも 飲ませていただき monday" (i pinky swear, if i do tell a lie I'm willing to swallow needles, or whatever, on a Monday)

"it doesn't matter if it's sunday!" everyone joined in.

you had no time to answer as the sounds of whoops and cheers drowned your voice— not that you knew how to respond. you clapped as well, thinking that it was the best concert you've been to (because of the song. not your crush. at least that's what you told yourself.)

as people filtered out and the smoke thinned, the three of you went backstage to your other friends.

"xiao! you never told me you knew scaramouche!" you accused, jabbing a finger at him.

he shrugged. "i didn't think you needed to know."

you grabbed his shoulders, shaking him. "you know how much i listen to him! i have his cds, his merch, what do you mean i didn't need to know!?"

hu tao pulled you off of an undisturbed xiao, laughing. "i think you forgot that he's right behind you."

you whirled around, face-to-face with the scaramouche. seeing him gave you butterflies, and better yet, he was smirking at you. is this heaven? you thought. or hell? i mean, i basically told him i was a die-hard fan. so much for playing it cool.

you opened your mouth to speak, but nothing came out.

"oh? i assume you want my autograph?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "or a photo, if that's more your style."

"i-uh." you internally berated yourself for not being able to speak properly.

"hm? what was that?" he leaned forward, wearing the most shit-eating grin you've ever seen.

"could you sign my ass?"

It makes me sad that so much of the creative community on social media has succumbed into this petty squable about what kind of engagement is worthwile and how creators aren't content machines (which is true! but!) and how they're all going to leave if people don't start giving their energy to these creators in a specific way... like, girl. You know that's extremely toxic, right? You know that your followers and their followers aren't engagement machines only there to spread validation and help all artists grow an audience? That it's not ANY individual's job to build an audience for YOU??

If you've looked at social media these days, literally everything and everyone is screaming for our attention all the fucking time! Hey you're not engaging with the news enough, or in the correct way, or hey you didn't give a statement about this or that or you're not supporting artists and creators, because you are only liking things, which doesn't "do anything". By the way buy this product! Help these hundreds of people fundraising for money, why do you not reblog their posts?! Why aren't you caring enough?? Wow, you only liked this post again? Why aren't you helping these people??

Like. I'm sorry to say but as much as social media and the internet connects us, everyone has the right to determine the level of connection they want to have with you. Creators don't owe content to anyone, but no one fundementally owes them their energy and time (or space on their blog!) either.

Staking the existence of your creative pursuits on strangers, without their knowledge, is doomed to fail. A random person seeing your post and liking it has no clue you have set them an expectation of "helping you build your audience". They are primarily engaging with your work in a way that is comfortable and natural for them - whether or not that is through a simple like, reblog or a comment/ask. It might also reflect on how much they liked the thing they saw - or maybe they want to check it out later, who knows. It doesn't really matter. It does everyone a disservice assuming the worst of people who don't engage in the way you decided is correct and worthwile. You can't force people to be moved by your work, or to want to show it to other people. If they don't they don't. They aren't doing anything wrong by engaging with the things they truly love and care about, and not engaging with things that they do not want to engage with.

Sitting there seething that the people walking by aren't stopping to talk to you isn't gonna make those people wanna stop and talk to you. They don't fucking know or care that you want something specific from them in return for putting yourself out there on a website out of your own volition.

The unfortunate thing about creating art is that it is sometimes very lonely, and difficult. But there are things you can do to alleviate that without putting unfair and toxic expectations on total strangers. At some point you have to just realize, that to get the sort of engagement and conversation you want you need to go somewhere and ask for that. Whether it be your friends, mutuals, people you share fandoms with, or asking a more experienced creator for feedback. Finding groups where everyone wants to share and receive feedback.

I reblog things from my friends, and things that really speak to me or that I have something to say about, because that's what I want to be doing on my little blog. I wanna support the artists I wanna support! It doesn't mean I don't want the art I don't reblog to succeed, but no one can give their time and space to everything and anything they see. Give it to the things you like! Give it to the things you authentically want to give it to! I don't know about you guys but I would rather have 1 reblog by a person who really fucking loved something I did rather than 10 reblogs by people who reblog everything they come across out of some sense of duty.

Also, I am just asking - if the point of reblogs is to spread the work of an artist how the hell is a "dump side blog" with likely no followers going to do anything?? Anyway, sorry to the 5 non-bot and non-dead followers I have, I just needed to have another 0 note rant on the tungle because this shit irritates me to the nth degree. Truly social media's idea about helping and community is so fucked and full of toxic entitlement. Ideally a community is a place where people help each other, but social media is like. million little disjointed islands of semi-communities and constant flow of strangers between them. It really is not the ideal place for that deep sense of belonging.

to try to put an earlier thought about fan work and commodity in a less frenetic, more cohesive way, it's one of those things that thrives from being divorced from context that also makes it fraught as a way of feeding back into media consumption

it's easy for us to see on one hand, there are artists who are independently creating work, where monetary gain is minimal and means maybe this week it's a bit easier to pay rent.

On the other you have "buy a Disney plus subscription and watch this show the 'correct' way so they can keep making more content!" and it's a celebrity cast with a zionist director or something. Also Disney. Also the corporate subscription system.

Good job, you've helped set the pieces for the diabolical Rue Goldberg machine of capitalism and encouraged others to do the same.

Most things are more blurry. This platform, for instance, is less than ideal in countless ways and at worst, morally bankrupt, but it's still a resource that can be taken advantage of to the ends of spreading word about other resources, or helping drum up awareness - if nobody knows what's going on, they're going to listen to what's being told to them. We know which voices are the loudest.

Paying attention to which accounts have checkmarks, though, it's not as if we aren't complicit in some ways. When we use this site and it encourages others to do the same, we're paying indirectly.

There's always going to be more decision making than electing to shrug and say "no ethical consumption under capitalism" - that absence of a decision to decide where to draw the line is a kind of crime of omission. This "I just wanna draw my silly guys from my funny shows tee hee ^^".

I make and weigh up my decision to use this site every day that I do. I still think, ultimately, it is more optimal than a subscription service, it's... reasonably... user friendly (although, that gets less and less true by the day) and it's fairly accessible. I like that fan communities are a free, open space for people to chat and hang out.

I might change that decision tomorrow. I think it would be a shame, considering how long I've been around, but I don't need to fortify my identity as a "tumblr user".

That should extend to fan work. I don't guarantee you my patronage. If TF2 became a subscription service, I might rescind. I already feel very on-the-fence about supporting Valve - while it was a pioneer company, it's still encompassed by the vast and profitable Steam, which is corporate in its makings and as such, dubious. I wouldn't really encourage anyone to give them money, but I can't stop it either.

The other thing about this kind of disconnect is how most people online treat you as only the sum of your parts. The entity that is you is comprised of commodities they enjoy. Most people who find your work will do it through the frame of whatever they were already looking for, people who don't necessarily have any ideas about these conscious decisions we make.

I do know of artists deliberately making themselves harder to find because of this. Either disappearing any trace of the person behind the work, or obscuring the work to begin with. To a degree, it kind of undermines the joy of open accessibility that made these sites appealing, but I also understand why.

The sad part of closing yourself off from a community is that it can make it harder for smaller artists who just want to get by, doing what they do, to be seen at all. It's harder to reap the benefits of using this platform, with a lot of the same risks anyway.

I think everyone, to some degree, has an obligation to encourage conscious decisions like this, and show awareness of the strings attached to whatever their new shiny thing is. You're never really going to get there by trying to purge everything or double down about why you're allowed to stop caring.

I know you're probably confused about finding a note sticking out from under your pillow, right? But uhmm........I just wanted to ask you if you're still up for our paintball date later? I mean, you can totally tell me if you don't want to, or if there's something else you'd rather be doing, or even someone else you'd rather be doing that with. 

Ugh, this is going nowhere. But now I don't have time to restart this letter, because I need to be at the pre-recording session in 30 minutes. And I'm sure you're even more confused by now, so I guess I'm just gonna come clean. When you came to the music show to support us, I saw you talking to a few of the makeup artists. You looked so adorable smiling like that and it really seemed like you were enjoying getting to know someone new.

It's been a while since you got to do that, isn't it? You've just been so busy, and at first, it made me smile seeing you spending time with someone that's not me, and I was happy because I'm not able to always give you as much time as I'd like to. But then, that smile slowly started to fade when I realized you were spending a bit too much time with them. It soon got annoying, and I wanted you to be done and come over to me already. It started to get on my nerves and I found myself wanting to pull you away from them and just hug you tight. 

You guessed it right, I was just being a jealous idiot. But that uncalled for, and I know you're definitely not in the wrong for trying to befriend them. It's just.....we both know you and I are so different from each other. You're literally a ball of sunshine and all I am is a shy, dorky, lanky guy. I sometimes feel I'm holding you back from living life, always wanting to stay indoors and not being too quiet half the time.

And even when I try to be more open to new things and plan dates like the one today, I end up being nervous that I won't be able to make things fun for you and things just spiral downwards. So when I saw you finally find someone who is as into "late-night drives with the windows down" as you are, I guess I just got a little possessive and insecure. I almost did reach out to grab you by the arm and pull you to myself, but in the end, I couldn't bring myself to. 

Why? Because in that moment, I felt guilty. Guilty for not being good enough, and guilty for still having the audacity to think this way. I know it's my fault that I was jealous, and after having stayed awake last night thinking about the way I acted, I also know that you deserve to be free to meet and spend time with people who aren't me, or even like me. And that needs to be the case whether it's you befriending a guy, or a girl, or someone else. 

I'm sorry for feeling this way, baby. I'm not the best with words, but right now, all I'm hoping for is that you realize that I do care.

Alright.... I'm a little pabo and instead of Jimin's current energy reading I did Jimin's personality. I got confused with two asks in my inbox and instead of Jungkook's personality, did Jimin's.

So, here's Jimin's personality and I'll do his current energy too in a while.

Jimin's personality reading (2022)

I always felt that Jimin is very aware of his beauty, his talent, his success and how people look up to him. However there was also an energy of... I don't wanna say jealousy, it's more like deep routed insecurity.

I know, once again I'm talking about a k-pop idol being insecure and one might think that how is that possible that such a successful and wealthy person who's definitely very attractive be insecure about themselves?

This isn't me bashing them or trying to bring them down. We all have the good, the bad and the ugly sides and we all try to make sure our virtues outweigh our vices.

And k-pop idols are humans too.

It feels like Jimin is always comparing himself to others. And it looks like he was like that always and the entertainment industry only amplified this negative trait of his.

I feel like people compare others to him and he feels the pressure to always be one of the best.

I'll tell you a little secret. I always felt like he's a little jealous of Jungkook. It's not the kind of jealousy that poisons a relationship. It's the type of jealousy that mostly harms the person who harbours this feeling throughout many years.

Because the Seven of Scrolls card shows a person standing before two closed doors with a scroll in their hands and many scrolls laying under their feet.

The biggest enemy of Jimin is Jimin himself.

Don't get me wrong, he has a high self esteem and he knows his worth. He acknowledged his achievements and hard work.

This is more about his personality and how he battles its ugly sides.

I sometimes focus more on the not so pretty sides of idols but it's not because there aren't good sides to them. I think most of their fans already know their good traits and I just want to show more of their "human" side, stripped of all that manufactured perfect image.

I believe it's much more interesting to know that someone doesn't need to be perfect to be an inspiration. Maybe not in every area of their life, maybe something you might not like about them, but you can appreciate what they create and the ways they can inspire you to become better.

Jimin's another example of someone who has flaws but who's not defined by them.

He's extremely hard working and it seems like he had a duality to him. He might be very pessimistic at times but he also can be the one who lifts the spirits of the group when he's in a good mood.

He's very artistic, sneaky (in a good way, like a cute sly fox), hates injustice (but I feel like he might cheat in a game for example and play it innocent), he's a dreamer, he will always think of creative ideas and that applies both to his artistic career and his everyday life.

Jimin's a liiiiittle two faced but he's too busy being a successful artist to be toxic.

He's more like.... petty?

Ahahah, I feel like he can be reaaaaally petty.

He seems to be the type to smile at someone he dislikes and then talk about them behind their back but it's not something that happens on a regular occurrence.

It takes a special person to annoy him to that extent that he would be complaining about them to his friends.

What I like about this reading is that the last card I pulled is literally "The Artist" and the bottom deck card is "The Companion".

Jimin values his career and professional relationships a lot and he's much more preoccupied in bettering himself and his craft than any petty drama.

He's meticulous and has amazing work ethics.

He might be a lot to deal with but that doesn't take away from his ability to be a supportive friend.

Hybe has taken the stance that they won't develop solo talent so what you're hoping for is not likely unless he doesn't renew his contract and goes elsewhere. I'd love to see him at an agency that is more dance-focused and could develop him that way, but idk if that is what he wants. I'm not in his head so I can only assume he would want opportunities, but he's only said he wants to be in BTS forever just as they are. 🤷‍♀️

The only ppl Hybe bend over backward for are the producer-members (rappers) and Tae (I think because he won't listen to them, and it's easier to let him do whatever vs let a scandal play out). JM is not gonna cause problems like that. He's gonna wait his turn... but I'm not convinced it will ever be his turn at Hybe.

I don't care for all this solo/multi/anti crap. It sounds like kid stuff to me. You're either a fan of someone's work or you're not. If you're a fan of JM, of course you're going to want him to have more opportunities. Hybe isn't the company to give those opportunities so people need to decide for themselves who exactly they are supporting.

About a week ago, my friends and I played a drinking game. It was one of those where you drew a card and you had to pick a person who most likely fit the card's descriptions, and if they did, they had to drink. The card my friend drew was "who was the most likely to spend money on something stupid" (or something like that). I got picked. This didn't seem out of the ordinary. I thought they were gonna make fun of me for my gacha spending (don't spend money on gacha, kids) or my old squishmallow addiction. Very reasonable. But for some reason, they focused on me spending money on commissions. They told me that some of the commissions I got weren't that good, and asked me "why would you spend so much money on "average" artists (minus my irl best friend, who they consider an amazing artist. he is btw) when you could save up more and spend more money on one artist?"

We moved on almost immediately, but that stuck with me. First of all, I didn't consider the artists I commissioned just average. The main thing I rationalized was most people I commissioned...I could trust. I only commission very few people on a regular basis, and that's because I can trust them. I've gotten scammed a lot by strangers, and while it wasn't a huge money loss for me, it's made me very selective on who I would allow to take my commissions.

A few days later I hung out with my aforementioned best friend. I've known this dude since we were in middle school. he's an artist and going for his master's in art as well (don't wanna doxx him without his permission, but he is extremely artistically talented). I told him what happened and he brought up another good point to me.

It wasn't just about the money. it was encouragement.

Commissioning an artist, especially a small one, is not just a way to financially support them. it's a way of saying "keep going. You're doing great." It's a sign that they should continue their passion. It's a way to build community.

This is your sign to go out of your way to commission smaller artists if you have the money to spare. Even if they aren't as "good" as what you want. That one show of support might mean the difference between sticking with something they love, and quitting.

This pretty piece of art was commissioned by my partner from @Miza_Feliz on Twitter (not sure if they have a Tumblr) and even though I'm not a big She-Ra fan, I can still see the amount of effort the artist put into it, and how much my partner likes this ship.

But you know what? Two, not just one, two assholes got on his ass for simply shipping these two characters together. Now tell me, how is that justified? Just because these characters aren't in the same picture with the show's 'approved partners'? Bull.

Let me tell you a little something sweeties, anyone whose watched the show from start to finish will see that Catra hated Adora at the start, and towards the end, you cannot tell me that their relationship wasn't rushed.

Sure, enemies-to-lovers exists, BUT anyone with a sense of plot and any knowledge of basic humanity would know that no one goes from I-hate-you to I-love-you as fast as Adora and Catra did in the last three episodes.

If it wasn't risking getting banned, I'd tag those two assholes right here for all to see, but unfortunately my partner removed the picture on his account because of two ignorant assholes.

Do you wanna know the best part? These two ignorant assholes called him a pedophile for this ship, which if you look closely, does Catra seem underage in this picture? Does Hordak? No, they look like two consenting adults. Not only that, but if you people wanna get on him for putting a character like Catra in the same picture as Hordak, then what about Entrapta, hm? As far as I know, she and Catra are more-or-less the same age, so wouldn't that count as the show itself supporting pedophllia? Because even though Entrapta's in her 30s and Catra was confirmed be in her 20s by the end of the show, they are still children compared to Hordak. But guess what, these two assholes claim to be fans of the show even though Hordak is ancient compared to both Entrapta and Catra! Wouldn't that count as them supporting it then as well? In my opinion, it does, so where's your excuse now you assholes?

Oh, and don't go using mental incapabilities/diseases/restrictions or whatever you wanna call them as an excuse for your behaviour, because I can guarentee you that if I showed this exact picture to people I went to school with (most of which have the exact and worse mental conditions as these effers), they would tell me they see nothing wrong with it.

Catra has been aged up to be more 'age-appropriate' in this picture. Not only that, but if you look at the rest of the art on this artist's Twitter, you'd see there's a bunch of art that's pro LGBTQ+, so if a supporter of that can go and create a heterosexual picture instead of a homosexual one without being forced to do so, then why are you, someone who needs to make someone else feel like shit for their own entertainment, being such a dick about it?

I myself am a LGBTQ+ supporter. My partner has multiple friends in the LGBTQ community. The artist themselves are a supporter of the LGBTQ community, so tell me, do you truly have any ground to say that this picture is homophobic simply because it doesn't conform to what you want to see? Is it pedophilia simply because one of the characters was aged up to ensure that it isn't pedophilia?

How about you go do your research next time, or ask before you make assumptions? And before anyone goes 'oh you don't know what that kind of abuse does' when pedophilia is involved, I know more than you think, and I can bring in people who do that will agree that there's no pedophilia in this picture whatsoever.

Do you have any advice on making friends in fandom?

First of all making friends in any space, including fandom spaces, can be really difficult because it requires a level of vulnerability and that's super scary! Especially if that's not something you are used to and there's always this fear of rejection I think.

I think something that has worked for me is doing a lot of reaching out. Popping into people's asks or DMs, even with simple messages. Maybe someone wrote a fic or made art you liked and you can tell them. Maybe they reblogged an ask game and you can use that as a way to send that first message. You can also just wish people a nice day or share something you like about them.

Now I know the above can be overwhelming and scary. Again, the fear of rejection is real. And not every single person in a fandom is going to be open to making new friends. Maybe they have friends already, maybe they are just in fandom to look at pretty pictures or share works and are less interested in a community, maybe they just don't have the spoons to reply. There can be a million reasons but that's not a reflection on you.

Now I do have to remind myself of this as well. Sometimes you think someone is really cool and you wanna be supportive of them or be their friend and it's not reciprocated and that honestly does suck. But for all the times it sucks and someone doesn't want to be your friend, there are 5 people who do want to make new friends. I've seen a lot of people mentioning they are looking for friends recently so there are honestly plenty of people hoping to find connection. (I wish I could come up with a way to connect more people with each other. Kinda like fandom friend speed dating or something?)

Another thing that can help to make friends is fandom events. Now I know that unfortunately in some events people tend be a little clique-y and aren't as good about welcoming and supporting new people. Which is honestly super disheartening to see. I put in a lot of effort in the events I mod to prevent that from happening (but I am also very aware I am absolutely not perfect, so if you do feel left out in any of the events I mod please please please let me know and I will try to do my very best to make sure you and everyone else gets included too). With other people's events this is a bit harder, though I do try to respond to people anytime I have the spoons. But of course it doesn't come down to just me. I don't wanna do any like "call-outs" or bad talk any events or people but I do wanna be honest that my tip of using events to find friends doesn't always work. The unfortunate truth is that some people only appear to value the people they are already friends with and popular authors/artists.

The last things I wanna add is to show up and be supportive. Now don't take this as an obligation to reblog or recommend or leave kudos on things you didn't like. Not at all. And you are not obligated to do this with every thing you do like either! But people notice the people who reblog a lot of things and the people who always leave a comment and the people who often leave kudos. Of course you shouldn't do this just to make friends either but it can be helpful in combination with other things. After all we are in fandom because we all really like something so sharing that excitement is a good way to get people excited and get a conversation going.

I think with all of the above, it's also about finding thing that fit you and your personality and not everything will work for everyone. And again, not everyone is open to making friends. Like I said, some don't have the spoons, some seem to have a solid friend group already, some aren't interested in community, some seem to think people owe them thing but never reciprocate. But there are people who are honestly open and welcoming to people looking to make friends.

And it's okay to feel insecure. I have known some people for quite a long time now and have been talking with them for quite a while and I still get anxious they don't like me or that I am too clingy and that they don't wanna be my friend and that I just bother them. These things are hard!! And I get rejected and ignored too which genuinely does fucking hurt. But I have also met some truly incredible people and made some excellent friends. And those people make everything worth it.

Guessing NCT's rising signs: Huang Renjun as a Cancer rising

Welcome to my first post where I write all about why I think this idol is X rising sign! I don't know how many of these I'll do because it heavily depends on how confident I feel in my guess of their rising lol for Renjun's rising sign, it's something I've been sitting on for a loooong time just to see if anything else comes into my head. At the end of the day we really have no way to know for sure, even if the idols gives us their birth time it still has to be taken with a grain of salt! But it’s still fun theorize and to test your skills while learning at the same time. So for now I feel pretty confident sharing my thoughts on Renjun as a cancer rising.

✦ Before I even decided to look up his chart layout, there were 2 characteristics of Renjun that initially led me to think he’s a Cancer rising. His eyes and his physique. His eyes aren’t necessarily as big as idols we’ve seen with moon in 1st, but they’re still very notable features of his physical appearance that he’s very well known for. They’re bigger, soft and dreamy, and sometimes look like he quite literally holds stars in his eyes. The biggest physical feature though is his, well, petite frame. Next to his eyes, renjun is also really well know for his smaller build. It’s even a well known inside joke amongst NCT, they all him “big shoulders renjun” (lol) because “for a guy” his shoulders a on the smaller side. Both of these physical attributes can also be identifying characteristics of cancer risings.

✦ So, in general I think he is a Cancer rising. But if we want to be more specific; I do think he is a 3rd decan Cancer rising which is the Pisces/Neptune ruled decan. I initially chose this because his house and planet placements just make so much more sense to me when the rising is in the 3rd decan (I'll get into that below), but after reading about the 3rd decan I also think it fits his personality really well! With the Neptune and Pisces influence, he's more on the open side of Cancer rising but more notably, 3rd decans are a lot more inclined to art/creativity and sometimes, music specifically. These people also have a very dreamy attraction about them. He also has his Venus trine ASC which can further add to this kind of creative vibe he gives off, but is also drawn to! It emphasizes the importance of aesthetics, art and creativity in his life. If you've never been on Renjun stan twt then you might not know that a lot of his fans see him as this incredibly dreamy and ethereal boy (as they should) and I can see why!

Scorpio moon, Sagittarius Pluto in 5th:

✦ yea... just yes. Okay but actually, if you read my NCT Dream Hexaco x Birth Chart analyses, I talked a lot about his chart already because I really like it. As someone with a Scorpio moon, I can't help but be really interested in how his plays out. And I have to say, I am quite attached to this theory because I think his scorpio moon in 5th just. makes. sense. I'm not going to go much into the descriptions of the placements, I'm mostly going to stick to the house influence. We know that Scorpio moons have really intense emotions, they internalize everything and are just highly sensitive people to their environments. Renjun has been incredibly open about his mental and emotional struggles ever since being a kid. I've honestly never heard an idol talk about their struggle like he has. He even opened up recently about how a few years ago he had an art therapist that really helped him and lowkey changed his life. I feel like a lot of this can be reflected in his 5th house. The house of creativity, expression, creation. His 5th cusp is also in Scorpio. 5th house in water tend to be really drawn to arts and music. Having a Scorpio moon, a moon sign that can be quite guarded, in a fire house can also explain his readiness/openness to share his emotions and art. Also let's not forget his chart ruler is his Scorpio moon in 5th! What I've wrote above are big themes in his life, which we've seen.

✦ As for the Pluto in 5th. Because his 5th house is in Scorpio this would mean the 5th ruler is in 5th. I know it might not make sense at first because it's pluto and pluto is misunderstood. But it makes perfect sense to me. Pluto in 5th is a deeply passionate and creative placement. It bring so much energy to this house, and can even create a borderline obsession with themes of this house. With creating and expressing. But I could also see having this and his scorpio moon in this house bringing so much energy, it just kind of adds to the confusion and intensity of a scorpio moons emotions and processing abilities, like, emotionally overwhelming. Scorpio moons always need an outlet and they usually figure that out the hard way at some point in life. The outlet can vary based off the chart, his is without a doubt connected to his art; whatever that may be to him.

Aquarius Uranus in 8th:

✦ This part is brief because it's more of like, additional details to what's already in his chart. Something that is really well known about Renjun too is how much he is into space and aliens and stuff like that. He, once again, has been very open about it lol on variety shows I've seen him light up every time its briefly mentioned and he'll comment on how much he finds that stuff interesting. The 8th house is weird, it can manifest in a lot of different ways. The biggest point here for me is that the house is in Aquarius with Uranus here. I know someone with this placement too and, while they're open minded to astrology and tarot etc. it's a bit more focused on logic. I can't say for sure because I don't know him, but he kind of strikes me as the kind of person that would fight to death over aliens existing, but draws the line at astrology lol. I actually do think he would be open to astrology and tarot, but he'd need the right introduction to it. Anyways, yea this placement to me explains a lot of his interest in space and things we don't understand. He's expressed his curiosity in it. I think a lot of this is coming from his Scorpio moon and Pisces mercury/venus which is why I think it's just additional support.

Pisces Mercury/Venus in 9th:

✦ THIS HOUSE right here... so much to say. Firstly, Pisces in 9th is probably one of the main culprits for his creativity, deep thinking and curiosity in the world. And more importantly: his imagination. I've mentioned this a lot when I talk about renjun but, he's very well known for his creativity, but I want to make it clear that there is a distinction between creation and imagination. His imagination is truly... on another level. Well, planet actually since it's pisces! Again, amongst fans it's really well known his imagination is just so unqiue. This is less about the 9th house and more about the fact that he has 2 pisces placements but it still affects it lol. He's very open about his imagination and speaks about it so naturally. He shared his drawing of a bird, hybrid, thing? and how it's an animal that steals your dreams in your sleep. Anyways, Pisces in 9th aren't necessarily the travelers we'd see with an air or fire sign here, but they like to travel mentally. He's also talked about how he's just in general a very curious person and you can tell his thoughts probably travel far and wide in his down time.

✦ What's really interesting to me about this house is his mercury is here and Mercury in 9th is a very specific kind of placement. It almost always guarantees an interest and talent in learning languages. I don't know if languages are necessarily a passion for him but he definitely is interested and cares about learning language and other cultures. He also did pick up on Korean and English with ease. Which also reminds me that, he actually was exposed to Korean at a young age because I'm pretty sure he went to a bilingual school (chinese and korean). This is also a big deal to me because planets in 9th, especially sun/mercury often indicate very early exposure to languages or other cultures... so yea that checks out. This can also be proved by looking at his IC in Virgo, which puts the ruler in 9th. His mercury is also sextile Jupiter. I also wanna comment that he has his Mercury in the 5th degree, I'm not great at degree theory yet but that feels significant to me. Of course we cannot forget his absolutely angelic voice. Renjun is also very well known for his stunning vocals. Not only are Pisces placements musically inclined but Pisces mercury are known for their sweet voices.

✦ As for the venus is 9th, I feel like I have more to say on his venus being in Pisces because that's where so much of his artistic creativity and imagination come from. But venus here adds to a lot of what I've written above, adding to his curiosity of the world. What I find most interesting about venus in 9th though, is it brings another inclination to art! He might really like art from different places in the world, or just exploring all types of art being very open minded to its different forms etc. Venus here also brings ease to language learning, and these people will naturally have other cultures and people from them as a big part of their life. I feel like, in general it's not surprising at all to me that as a foreign member (being from China), that he would have 9th house influence! It can often manifest as like.., travel, other languages, cultures and parts of the world etc. are just very naturally a part of their life. Some people never really contemplate life overseas or in another country. But for 9th housers, it's never not been an option. His 9th house influence can also make him a great teacher, mentor and just overall supportive person. We've seen some of this in the content he's made with NCT. Like trying to teach his members chinese with Chenle, except he was taking it way more seriously lol but was so supportive. He's also tried to get Jeno and Jisung involved in his art making, but keeping the process very open and fun.

Aries sun, Taurus mars in 10th:

✦ This is the last part I'm going to cover because it is really just the icing on the cake to finish this up. The 10th house is considered pretty important when looking at celebrities/idols because it's very likely a lot of what we see from them is their 10th house influence. In the chart model I'm using for Renjun, it puts his MC in the very last degrees of Pisces, so there's a chance it's in Aries but either way with his sun and mars here they are still playing a big role. So for that reason, I'm opting for Pisces MC. I also think Pisces MC fits though because first it puts the ruler in his 7th house. Meaning he could really benefit and work well in something that involves a group! Because it's Pisces in Neptune, it also adds to his very ethereal vibe and how people just seem to love him wherever he goes. He's very magnetic and can come off as artistic and sensitive. He's known for being dreamy, unreal, artistic, sensitive.

✦ Again, we know he has an aries sun and taurus mars so I'm not going to explain them here, just how they affect the house, but having his these here makes so much sense to me too. Having planets in 10th also influences what kind of "vibe" people get from you, and what you're "known" for. Mars and Sun bring similar energy of being well known for for energy, drive, and even stage presence. Not being afraid to be on stage, being good with attention and spotlight. He's known for his kind of playful and childish behavior at times. He is charismatic, bold, brave, happy and upbeat. With the sun, he is again known for his creativity and creations and also self-expression.

Also, Imma go anon for this one because I wanna pour my heart and soul for a while.

But I do agree with the post you reblog. I don't engage with NSFW contents because my religion forbids it. Therefore, I will never write anything that has such stuff. Even if I do write suggestive contents, it's very very mild. I don't know if you noticed this from my writings, but 9/10 of my 'kiss scene' is always somewhere else other than the lips. It's the forehead, cheeks, nose, on top of the head and very rarely on the lips themselves. Idk, maybe because I kinda have to act on the actions in my mind before writing, but I get very uncomfortable when the scene goes a bit too spicy. I'm an adult, but I feel this way 👉👈

My friend is an artist and way more popular than me in her fandom. She also mentioned how SFW content creators have a bit of a struggle establishing a fan base. Compared to me who write for fun, she needs commission from others as her source of side income. Therefore, it's definitely a struggle for her.

At first, when I'm not a content creator yet, I didn't really understand her worries, but when I do step into Tumblr and start writing, I see what she meant. I'm not putting down NSFW creators because like the posts said, it's no one's fault and the consumers themselves have the right to choose, but I hope SFW content creators don't feel discouraged and continue to create whatever you want. Creating something is a form of coping mechanism for me. I'm not sure about everyone, but I hope you all still have a good time creating scenes with your imagination. Let your stories out ♥️♥️♥️

Even though you're an adult, it's okay for you to feel that way. Everyone is different and has boundaries. You don't have to do anything you're uncomfortable with. What matters is you're enjoying yourself! There's no shame in respecting your religion and doing what's right for you. I don't think stories have to be romantic to be interesting either. There's so much to write about and explore, especially in Obey Me. It's nice to see what people come up with.

I know there are SFW pieces that do well, and I'm happy people show interest in my work, but I notice a lot of popular works are NSFW; when it comes to art and writing. Of course, you want to create what people will like, so it can be discouraging. I see SFW posts with tons of notes, though not everyone is that lucky. I think it's difficult to get your work noticed sometimes if it doesn't have romantic undertones or is outright NSFW. I'm not saying there aren't instances where that's not the case, of course. It can be hard to stay motivated when you're not getting enough engagement. I'm glad I have my friends and mutuals who inspire and motivate me, but sometimes I slip into that thought process of, "my work doesn't do well compared to others so why write? Others do it better than me." I don't like to think that way. However, I understand why people do.

I'm happy people enjoy writing NSFW and support my friends who do, but I also wish it wasn't a struggle sometimes for SFW writers too; not that it can't be a struggle for NSFW writers, they just seem to get the most engagement. I see a lot of people get discouraged, and it's sad when someone loses inspiration or thinks they're not as good as others because they don't get likes, reblogs, or feedback. Even one comment is enough to motivate me, and I'm always grateful for the kind words I receive. A little kindness definitely goes a long way. I want everyone to enjoy what they do and not worry about sharing their art or writing with the world. I always try to remind myself I write and draw for myself above all else, but when you look at the notes it can be upsetting.

Writing is a coping mechanism for me as well, and I use it to help me through difficult times. I'm glad I'm a part of this community because writing and drawing for it has saved me. And we have each other to get through these moments of doubt. I love your writing and want you to continue doing what you love! It brings a lot of happiness and comfort to others as well! We can overcome these feelings together and support one another on our journey ♥

I have rambled lol. I made an actual post cause it would be way too long and weird to just write that all out and then continue the other conversations we were having. I tagged you in it but if that isn't showing up it's here

Loona is the first kpop group I actually followed up with their music when I found out about them (I only followed one group before that and it's anime-related so yeah lol). That was in a time when I never cared about the people or personalities, I was there for the music only. I never went back to artists or groups cause I never felt the need to listen to all their songs (besides the aforementioned group), Loona changed that, so they have a special place in my heart. My Loona bias at first was Choerry, she was just so cute and caught my eye, I think it was also probably cause the subgroup OEC was my favorite as well, but then something change, and Olivia Hye knocked me over the head and I was never the same lmao. I still don't know all the girls but I'm trying not to fall too far down cause I don't have the money to really stan more than two groups. but to do keep an eye on Haseul, Yves, and Chuu too.

For ENHA they were the ones to get me into artists/groups personalities, so I really love them all for different reasons. If I had to pick one I would say Riki, my son boy. Compared to the others I think I go out of my way to support him more than the others when it comes to voting and that stuff. I would protect and fight others for the sake of Riki, Jay, and Sunoo since I feel like they aren't exactly treated the same either by the company or fans. but I usually say my biases are Heeseung, Jake, and Riki

Hey people..

It's just a small post. I don't have any intention of hurting someone's feelings, emotions and values but

These days it's really very disheartening and disturbing to see what people are doing these days out of ignorances.

For the past some time, I have been reading and hearing cases where the music entertainment companies show certain things in mvs or use certain contexts or verses in their songs...

But the major issue is that there are times when you really to need to see whether those things can hurt a person's or a community's beliefs and values. And by chance if they didn't notice that..

And people try to bring to their attention, please just put a small apology. Being as fans we can understand that they aren't familiar with alots of things but at the same time the entertainment companies if possible keep a check, because you include artists and songwriters from all over the world and with forte in various genres.

I mean, if you really wanna keep up your credentials and expand your succession, then why can't you keep a check over the work and stuff, you have to do especially of it includes your top groups and bands.

A small apology is well deserved and that's the least you could do....

But committing the same stuff again and again without realising and apologizing. You are mocking the people and that's true.. as such as rude I sound but that's what is going.

The WORST PART, I repeat THE WORST PART is that when people from different community come up to defend the entertainment companies saying that your religious sentiments hasn't nothing to do with them... You believe over some dumb donkey and what not.

You might be thinking of what I am saying but that's the true... I am not writing anything which comes on my mind but that's what I read. How could you hurt someone else belief, cultural values and the belief of God.

If an Entertainment company has committed something wrong, they should come to know about it and damn apologize for it !!

Is it too much to ask for ? We aren't those irrational people to say hey disband that group or something because as sane person we know that many times people aren't familiar with certain things and beliefs. It's not always that, just because we do this here, we can do that stuff in some other country.

I mean people how could you lose the basic respect for all cultures and community. Are we really living in the 21st century of which we should be proud of because of the development we are having?

This is the development are we talking about, like at one stand we are promoting to help people, making them understand certain things, empowering them, supporting, joining hands together as one for a cause but the other hand we have degraded ourselves to such level that we are disrespecting and hating the culture.

Even if you believe in god or not, we all respect that but we don't accept that you could actually say something so hurtful and shameful that we don't even use for own people.. it's such a shame...

You all should understand that, respect is earned, it's not always of hurting someone's beliefs to make yourself superior... IF SOMETHING IS WRONG ,IT HAS TO BE ADMITTED... How many people will lie if something is really wrong and needs to be accepted? 1, 2, 10, 100....

But people from a whole area and the nearby places or nations could lie ? Why would they do ? It's something only, if they feel this could impact the career and the value of their faves not only in their country but in general too because a few people have been to careless.. all we ask is that of we all can take time to see if certain things don't hurt the sentiments...
