Dew never expects Swiss to be gentle with him, always takes him by surprise, always throws him off. Especially when it's so casual.

Swiss laces their fingers together one night when they're just sitting on the couch together. Dew stares at their hands for a while, how small he looks against Swiss always makes his stomach do something funny, but Swiss holds him carefully but tight enough he's always aware of the fact Swiss has him.

And Swiss shifts and lets his hand go, Dew tries not to look disappointed, but Swiss just pulls him into his side instead. If he weren't looking at the TV, he'd see Dew's eyes go all wide and his face start to go pink. Dew secretly loves how their bodies fit together, and how safe he feels tucked into him.

He'll never say any of that, of course. Swiss wouldn't let him live it down. But fuck if he doesn't get butterflies, get a bit giddy, when Swiss offers him that sort of affection. No motive. Just loving him for the sake of loving him.

So, in Beast, Akutagawa grew up in the streets, right? Realistically, how literate would he even be? In the manga, his report was really simple, and he did talk to Astsushi about getting paper and books, but suppose that he couldn't read.

I imagine him learning that Kunikida is a teacher, and although he was a math teacher, Akutagawa goes to him and asks if he could teach Akutagawa to read properly, fully complete and complicated sentences.

Obviously, Kunikida thinks it's a great idea and will help, but seeing how focused Akutagawa is about it, he asks, "What brought this on?"

And Akutagawa is quiet for a moment, before he looks down, saying softly, "Oda-san is writing a book."

This is Pomme’s Maman who would sit in the warm sun with Pomme and sing a made up song whenever Pomme would play her flute. How Baghera would dance with Pomme, even if the bags under her eyes were deeper that usual or if she always keep looking at the sky, a hand on her sword.

This is Richarlyson’s Pai who would always go along with whatever made-up character Richas made that week, always making sure to do an accent and putting on a dumb hat to fully play the character. It didnt matter if Cellbit was in the middle of looking up a cypher or if his voice was shaking because he was scared that something was going to take Richas away.

No matter how much pain and destruction Cellbit and Baghera have done, nothing matters more than feeling their parent’s arms around them.
