LoZ - Light Spirit Springs in TotK

I'm currently trying to figure out where the Springs of the Light Spirits would be in TotK.

I believe that you can fit the map for Twilight Princess pretty neatly over BotW/TotK's map & according to a map someone else made that looks fairly accurate, the current Kakariko is in the same basic place as it was in TP.

I theorize that Ordon Village would be in the Faron Grasslands. Specifically somewhere in the general vacinity of Fural Plain.

Faron the Bushy-Tailed Monkey should be in the Faron Woods area, which is also north of Fural Plain.

Ordon & Faron were very close to each other, so they should be near each other here too. Or at least, what used to be the springs should be.

I'm thinking either Ordon Village is in the Fural Plain itself or around where the Lake of the Horse God is. I'm putting the Lake of the Horse God as a possibility because then it would place the Ordon Ranch inside of Ibara Butte which looks similar enough to in TP. In such a situation, it's possible that Haran Lake was once the Ordon Spring & Fural Plain was once the South Faron Woods.

Following that, it could've been the tar pit in the north end of Finra Woods to possibly be whatever remains of the Faron Spring. No idea what caused it, but it's interesting to think about. With what used to be the North Faron Woods & Sacred Grove being in the western Grassland area.

Eldin the Raptor would be in the current Kakariko. Possibly Lantern Lake. If not there, then the pond to the east in the area where the Great Fairy was last game.

And Lanayru the Croc-Headed Serpent would be in Lake Hylia. I believe it to be east of the south end of Hylia Bridge. There's actually a low-lying shore there with a pier similar to how there was in TP & I'm pretty sure that it lead to the spring.

The question is, am I right?

So I have a theory about the gardians in zelda games (The dragons from SS, the light spirits from TP, and the dragons from BOTW and TOTK). When Hylia gave up her Goddess hood she still had some magical powers left, but it was weakened. She knew that she would no longer live forever. She didn't want to completly doom those still on the surface and knew that one day a hero would be born to defeat demise. So she created the dragons Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru, however since her magical was weakend she could only make them long living and not immortal. There seems to be a pretty big time gap between SS and Minish Cap so the dragons lifespans would be over. Hylia thought Hyrule would be ok with just the hero but after the events of OOT, she knew that extra help was needed and created the light spirits. They do not make an appearance in MM since the player is in Termina and not Hyrule. In TP the light spirits turn themselves into light arrows to aid in defeating ganon. I think the situation with the BOTW/TOTK dragons is similar to the common theory of why the light dragon was not in BOTW, they were above the clouds. They were once zonai who lived and worked at 3 Goddess shrines, dedicating their whole lives to the goddeses. When Raruu was giving secret stones to those he deemed sages, he gave 3 secert stones to those Zonai in the event the attack on gannon would to fail, so they may find a way to help defeat or reseal ganon once he broke free of Raruu's seal. Since the Zonai's home was made into the sky islands, the dragons stated up near the sky islands. They desended when calamity ganon started to appear thinking their ganon had returned. But that's just a theory A GAME THEORY. :)

Back in Fall 2022 I played through the Ori games and loved them. They’re probably some of the most beautiful games I’ve played! They were fun, difficult, with endings that left bittersweet feelings. I loved these games. Hopefully I’ll make some more fanart of it soon with the new skills I’ve developed.

Alright, now for the School!

Obviously it’s going to work like a regular school, starting July 1st (First day of Autumn) and ending March 56th (Last day of Spring). Then there is a Summer Camp starting April 28th, ending June 28th. But, some children can stay all year round.

It was created a few centuries before the initial timeline by a Child of Darkness, Arielle Morales, a Spanish woman, recognized by the spirits and given assistance by them for the school.

For the children, the school presents itself as whatever it needs to, to get them there safely. Maybe a just a regular school, maybe a boarding school, or a school for “problem children” that need help, or maybe even a private school. But, sometimes it doesn’t always work out, and the Spirits need to intervene.

Once the children get there successfully, they are shown around. The building are as such:

The main school, Solstice Academy.

Then you have the Dorms, One for each season, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and even a one for “unclaimed” children. (They will eventually create a space for Sun/Light and Moon/Dark children.

Then we have the recreational spaces for developing powers.

The Greenhouse, the regular Garden, the Swimming Pool (One indoor and outdoor) and the Gym.

Everything is surrounded by a forest, which there are paths and places in there where kids can get some peace.

The school mainly functions like a Middle or High school but they do have lower classes for younger siblings of claimed or unclaimed children.

Once the child is set in the Unclaimed Dormitory, they stay there till that Friday when there is a big gathering after dinner and they are claimed, then sent to the associated dorm.

The next day, they get to choose a pet of their Spirit parent. This is an animal that the Spirit favors and the child will be able to speak to them through their mind. All children can speak to all animals, but they do it best with their Signature Animal.

Spring Animals:

Bunnies, Wren and Snakes

Summer Animals:

Hawks, Deer and Ferrets

Autumn Animals:

Foxes, Cats and Owls

Winter Animals:

Wolves, Raccoons and Ravens

And that’s most of it for the School! Next I’ll be showing my characters.

Light - 3/4/2022

The hundred and seventy first friend. A light spirit. She is a creature of brightness and joy. She brings light to the lives of others. They dance in sun beams and the light from a candle's flame. Each night, she goes to sleep and extinguishes their light until the next morning. It is common for light spirits to live lives surrounded by others of their kind. They tend to gather in certain areas. Even when they are not in a large cluster, they are never far from others. Most do not value any light spirit over another. This was why Light was so surprised when she fell in love. They saw another light spirit floating through the sky one night before she went to sleep. The spirit hovered in the moonlight and was the most beautiful thing Light had ever seen. They stayed up late to watch and eventually gained the courage to approach. She soon formed a close bond with her and they became one of the only light spirit couples to have existed.
