Sharky wrapped his arm around my waist from behind, his hand gliding over my side and resting against my stomach as he pressed his body against mine from behind, his head lazily resting against the back of mine as he pressed a kiss to my temple. 

"Sharkyyy," I sing-songed his name, stirring the pasta pot as he groaned into my hair lethargically, slowly swaying his body against mine and making me giggle as I swung from one side to the other, following his movements. 

I already knew what was coming. If Sharky woke up late enough that I was making lunch whilst he hadn't even had breakfast yet, it only meant one thing.

He'd had a late night and needed to make up for the lack of late-night cuddles he'd missed out on the prior night.

"You're so good at cooking," He smiled contently as he picked up the empty plates and deposited them into the sink, filling them with water and allowing them to soak as I untucked my chair- getting ready to walk to my office and start get back to the case I was working on.

That was until I felt Sharky's hands on my back, sweeping me from my feet with a squeal as he walked with me bridal-style down to the living room sofa, throwing me down onto the cushions first, before jumping on top and making me groan as he landed on my stomach, full of pasta.

"Sharky, I have work to dooo..." I whined, knowing my words were futile as he began attaching- wrapping his arms around my back and sidling between my legs, resting his chest against my stomach and his head onto my chest so that he could look up with his great, wide and puppy-esque brown eyes which always convinced me more than any of his words ever would.

I would lean my head back with a resigning sigh, before tipping my head forwards with a smile, secretly delighted as Sharky lay on top of me- nestled into my body, leg cocked up slightly as though he were in about to sleep.

One of my arms instinctively trails down to his shoulders, lovingly rubbing between his shoulder blades and release that pent up tension which made him let out little moans n sighs of appreciation, my other hand massaging his scalp through the durag, fingers gently massaging with the occasional scratch.

Then I would insist I had to go work on that case.

And Sharky would insist on coming with me.

I had a large office chair to work on- which allowed Sharky to get on first before he'd adjust himself and tap on his thighs to tell me to sit against on his lap so that whilst I worked, he could cuddle me from behind.

Wrapping his arms around my waist, resting his head against my back and swaying the chair from side to side, I always found myself focussing more on him than my work, and trying not to smile whilst I typed whatever morbid report needed writing. 

"Done." I'd sigh after a while, leaning forwards and shrugging off his arms so that I could switch off my PC and turn around to straddle and face Sharky, leaning forwards and pecking the tip of his nose with a lovesick grin as Sharky took that as a personal invite to lather my face with little kisses until I was a giggling mess, pressing myself into his chest and matching my breathing with his as I slowed my heartrate and breathed in that musky pine smell on his shirt, nuzzling my forehead into the crook of his neck and savouring the moment within his arms.

And when Sharky was this touch-starved it was impossible to get a moment of free time.

"Sharky, I'm gonna take a shower!" I yelled from the hallway, towel wrapped around my body tightly as I scurried back to the bathroom, dropping the towel and untying my hair, getting ready before I heard a knock on the door.

"Without me?" I could practically hear the smirk in his voice. He was joking with what he said, but he definitely meant what he meant.

"Shut up and get in here," I laughed as he opened the door, stripping down in a flash before filling the tub and having us two sit together in it. My back pressed into his chest, his fingers gently tracing patterns against my thighs and his chest vibrating soothingly into my body as he hummed a familiar something- likely one of his Frank Ocean songs he loved so much.

And then, post-bath, wrinkly and barely any cleaner than before, we'd put on those matching pyjamas we'd bought ironically (but ended up wearing all the time- even getting a few more fuzzy, matching wansies and such) and hitting the bed early- often times just sitting besides one another whilst we scrolled our phones. Sharky preferred to just lay his head in my lap and close his eyes whilst I scrolled through my phone or used his chest as a surface to put my laptop on, checking emails or finishing other boring errands whilst my hand wandered around Sharky's head, absentmindedly tracing the curves of his features whilst I worked.

And the loving didn't stop all the way until Sharky was asleep- needing to hold me or at least feel my back against his own all the way until he's asleep.

I'd always tease Sharky for his ways. For how touch desperate, affection-needy and contact-motivated he was. 

He'd always laugh off the jokes, entertaining them and often agreeing. Because although he never mentioned it, he knew that whenever I fell asleep warm and cosy, bundled up within Sharky's fuzzy pyjama arms, his legs koala-wrapped around my waist, I could've called myself the happiest woman alive.

comforting little you at school!

i know for me personally that school is super tough sometimes. all you want to do when having a tough moment is to be little but sometimes school isn't the best or safest place to get little. here are some solutions that may help you:)

🎀🧸🫧🩰 🎀🧸🫧🩰 🎀🧸🫧🩰 🎀🧸🫧🩰

-you can wear comfy clothes that make you feel all comfy and warm (comfy sweater, high socks, fluffy pants, etc)

-some cute jewelry you like (maybe even chewlery)

-you can download apps on your phone that you can play when wanting to feel little and safe (toca boca games, colouring apps, hello kitty games, roblox (there's even age regression hangouts on roblox), etc.)

-bring sensory toys, they can help you feel little in a way that might make you more comfortable because lots of people have sensory toys!

-make a playlist of music that makes you feel safe! here are my favs on spotify and youtube (none are mine, just public playlists!):

-water bottles with straws can often feel like sippy cups!

-if you want a stuffie at school but can't bring one, you can always get a small stuffie keychain for your bag!

-pack yummy snacks that make you feel all little (gummies, animal crackers, apple slices, etc.)

Recently I've been thinking about how success is measured in the era of social media.

Call me a fool, but I consider myself extremely fortunate and successful, even if it is not reflected in any easily quantifiable manner. I am yet to be an object of anon hate in its pure form (meaning a hateful comment rather than something unreasonable), but at the same time I have received messages saying that my writing was meaningful to somebody. I am surrounded by wonderful friends who look out for me and who I can (and do) build things together with. The projects I'm involved in (such as @flash-exchange and @writing-wednesday ) give people joy.

I do not know how to express my gratefulness in words.

... Remember that very few things in life are final or otherwise permanent. Appreciate the good while it lasts. The bad? Live through it and do not despair. It will end. It always does.

It's been a couple days since Y/N had drunkenly admitted she had feelings for me. Also admitting that she was jealous of Dina. I still can't believe that she had always felt the same way. How could I not have seen it?

You never have to worry about Dina, though. She isn't even on your level. You have no competition, princess, I'm all yours.

I stood at her front door, holding some flowers and waiting for her to respond to the knocks on the door. She had a few rough days, she seemed so overwhelmed and fed up with everything so I thought that I would surprise her with something as beautiful as she was. Or at least try to.

Fuck, I just hoped she was awake right now. It was damn near eight in the morning. She's usually up around seven, seven thirty anyways.

"Can I help you?" Y/N's sleepy, soft voice sounded after the door swung open, her eyes, which were practically still shut, meeting mine, "oh, fuck. Morning, Ellie."

"Hey," I smiled, walking in since she had moved aside to let me through, "I heard you weren't doing so hot lately. So I made my own terrible version of a bouquet for you."

Y/N turned to me, a grin growing on her face as she noticed the drooped over flowers. My smile became awkward, holding them out to her.

"How sweet. How could I ever repay you for such a thoughtful gift?" she took the flowers from me, turning to go to the kitchen. That's when I glanced down to notice that she was just in a tank top and panties.

Take me upstairs and let me fuck you, for the love of God, "I don't know. Just... Let me be your favorite person for the rest of your life."

"Easy task, done," Y/N left her gift on the counter, turning to me and taking my hands into hers. She was so happy even though she physically appeared so tired and drained.

"Wait, you're being serious right now?"

"Yes, Ms. Williams. I'm being serious," her smile damn near lit up the room while my entire body felt like it was ready to explode. How was she so calm right now?

A loving smooch was placed on my cheek before she dragged me up the stairs and into her bedroom. What was she planning? Was this her trying to butter me up to start something a little intimate? I prayed it was but still kept myself together.

I was pushed down onto her soft, firm bed, Y/N straddling once more. My clammy palms met her waist, watching as she went in for a hug and hid her face in the little space between my shoulder and neck.

"Thank you for coming to see me, Ellie. It means the world to me," Y/N sounded to be crying. So I immediately pushed myself back to see her face and low and behold she was in fact crying.

"Hey, hey, hey? What's been going on the past few days, huh?" my eyes searched her face for an answer, wiping away her tears as she shed more by the second.

"Nothing. Just some friendship issues. Nothing serious."

Now that I think about it, she would always hang out with Dina or Jesse. Since the party, everything seemed just the same with Jesse but Dina had been acting off with her.

What the fuck did Dina do to her?

"Do you want to talk about it with me? Or we can bring you to Joel? What do you want to happen?"

"I just want you to hold me for a little bit, Ellie. Please?"

I chuckled softly, letting her hide her face again and rubbing her back as she silently sobbed. Sweet angel. You're going to be just fine. I promise.
