Person: so yeah I've been abused by this person constantly. I thought they'd love me if I did better. They wouldn't go to a therapist or anything. It just kept happening. I didn't realize I wasn't crazy until I started talking to friends with similar experiences. I caved and went to a therapist myself. From what I describe to this professional and these people who also had to talk to therapists about their experience, it sounds like my abuser was an untreated narcissist, so I experienced narcissistic abuse. They also may have had untreated OCD or anxiety. It all makes sense now
